It seemed as though V had forgotten what she had told him yesterday. He waited for her as she rushed back inside, returning a little bit later in her wolf form. It was an odd sight to see, especially as she was wearing a leather backpack. He had forgotten about that little trinket he had and he didn’t care that she used it. They left soon after she had come back, a light little smile of amusement on his lips at the fact that she had to go and get undressed and come back. He wondered where she would change back and if anyone would notice. They didn’t speak during the ride to the University. Remus was lost in his own thoughts, only sometimes looking to make sure that V had kept up with him. The air was cool and smelled of rain, dark clouds building up in the distance. It was going to rain today and soon too. Remus liked the rain, the lightning that came before the thunder. If it was still storming later that night, he would stay up and watch the storm from one of his windows. It was such a neat natural phenomenon. When they arrived at the University, V separated off from Remus. He locked his bike to a rack, the wind picking up some. The thunder was louder as it started to pour. Remus’s eyes were to the sky when V had come up to where he was. He stood under an overhang by the door, a faint smile on his lips when the newest crackle of lightning spiked across the darkened sky. He turned away from it when V came, opening the door for her. She was damp, but luckily she had made it before her cloths had gotten too soaked. He led V to the researched lab, only a few others were there already. When he entered, one man looked up seeming surprised to see V coming in behind Remus. “Ah, Remus, did you finish proofreading last night?” The man questioned and walked up to him. Remus nodded and pulled out a folder belonging to the man in front of him, handing it to him. “Yes. There were only a few spelling errors, your math was flawless as ever, Eric.” Remus complimented and the man chuckled. “Well, you would know.” He flipped through the pages in the folder and then glanced up, blue eyes behind glasses. “Who is this lovely young lady?” He questioned, looking at V’s face before giving her a smile in greeting. He looked back down at the folder in his hands as Remus answered before V could. “This is Valery. She is training to be my assistant.” Remus introduced V with a different name. He didn’t know if V was her real name, but he didn’t want to draw attention to her and a name that was only a letter would definitely not keep her out of the spotlight. Eric looked up once more and smiled again. “It is nice to meet you, Valery. I am Eric Thompson.” His gaze turned towards Remus as he brushed some of his brown hair out of his eyes. “If you need anything, I will be in my office. Thanks again for looking over these papers for me.” The man excused himself and Remus just nodded in response. The man was his only real friend in this place. They weren’t incredibly close, but they had both been mentored by the same man, Remus for longer than Eric of course. Remus moved away from the door and motioned for V to follow him, setting his stuff down at a desk in the corner of the room. There were round lab tables with thick black counters spread out across the room, thin long tables in between each set. It was a large room, encompassing six lab tables on either side of the two thin tables. There was equipment placed everywhere, many of the larger machines built into the walls. It smelled of chemicals and the scent of Bunsen burners. It was a familiar smell to Remus, but he could only imagine what it would be like for V. ((It’s all good. Stuff happens. =) And this is Eric if you were curious.))

V didn't mind being a little wet, it would dry off soon. If she had been soaked though that would irritate her, she couldn't be in her wolf form here and these were the only clothes she had brought. Once inside she followed right behind Remus, one of the bag's straps over her shoulder and hands in the pockets of her pants, gaze looking right and left. They had entered a room where her mismatched eyes scanned, finding a few people but only one had lifted his head when they entered, a surprised look on his face, she guessed it was because she was there.
The man had stood up and walked over, her gaze looking him up and down, not because she found him attractive or anything but just out of habit. It was needed when out in the wild and a rogue sized you up. He asked if Remus finished proofreading last night, he pulled some papers out of his bag and mentioned that he only had some spelling errors. She probably did that paper. She stood slightly to his side but behind Remus, eyes narrowing on the male who asked who the lovely lady was, she blew air through her nose and turned her head to the side.
A smirked formed when Remus introduced her as Valery, what a silly name she thought. She only gave a nod of her head though as a greeting. She watched the man move away and her gaze fell upon Remus who motioned her to follow him, pulling her hands out of her pocket and followed him. Her gaze roamed the room, falling on multiple tables with a lot of equipment on them and large machines in the walls. One thing she didn't like was the smell, the chemicals hurt her nose. She lifted her arm, holding it in front of her nose as she took a seat near Remus. "I'm glad I won't be here again." She mumbled.
She set her bag on the floor next to her, cleaning back and sighing heavily with her head back and mismatched eyes on the male. "What will we be doing first?"

Remus noticed that V had her hand in front of her nose. The mixture of scents in the room must have been bothering her heightened senses. There was a vent somewhat close to the desk they were by and so he went and switched it on low, the machine pulling a good amount of the vapors and smells towards it and making it less noticeable throughout the rest of the room. Remus didn’t mind the smell to be honest. It had a scent he had become used to in the last few years. It was almost more like home than home itself. He had often come to the science labs or the math labs, which had smelled of chalk and paper, to get away from his mother when he was younger. It was just something he felt comfortable around, he supposed.
Remus looked up at V when she asked what they were to be doing first. He thought for a moment before coming up with something. “You could go to my office and bring me the blue folder out of the top filing cabinet.” He suggested, pulling out a set of keys from his pocket and picking through them until he found the one for his office. “Take a left out of this door and take a right two hallways down. It will be the third door on the left from there.” He instructed while handing her the keys. He gave a light smile and wondered if perhaps she would be able to sniff out his office without any directions on his part. That definitely was an interesting thought to say the least.

V was kind of glad she was a human but still hated the form, she wasn't as strong as her lycan form, no way close but she still had one heck of a punch. In her human form she was mostly like any other human, she lacked her regeneration, strength and senses but still her senses were a bit more sensitive. As a wolf she wouldn't have even come near the room, the smell would be too much. She sat there with a leg crossed over the other, gaze watching Remus turning on some vent thing and noticed the smell starting to go away which made her smile a bit and said "Thanks."
His response to her question made her eyebrow raise, was she really gonna be his little errand girl while they were here? With a shake of her head with a smile she grabbed the keys, "Alright, be back in a bit." With that she pushed herself up and walked over to the door with one hand in her pocket and started to twirl the keys on her finger, she made sure to note which one he had shown her.
V turned left out the door, mismatched eyes staring straight ahead with keys twirling on her finger. With a light sigh she put her lips together and blew lightly, a soft whistle coming from her lips and sliding down the hallway with the light thuds of her flats against the floor. She liked that there weren't many people around, she didn't like them much and didn't want them bothering her seeing as they would know she didn't work there and was new. Once she was two hallways down she took a right like he had said.
(( Left an opening, not sure if you wanted something to happen. ))

Remus was glad that the vent would help out V in a way. Generally they only used it when working with a chemical that had toxic vapors and fumes, but he didn’t think anyone would mind him airing out the room a bit. If it hadn’t been for the rain, Torvon wouldn’t have minded opening the windows, but then the floors and anything near the windows would get wet. A flash of lightning and a crack of thunder seemed to emphasize his thought process and he smiled a little. He was in a fairly good mood today. He sat down and pulled out the folders of papers he had looked over the night before. Another man came up to him and Remus handed him a purple folder. He didn’t think anyone else would be coming to collect for a while so he got to work on his own research paper, pulling out a laptop and staring it up. ~~~ The damned door wouldn’t open. Sarah frowned, wanted to yell in frustration. She had never been incredibly proficient at using a lock pick before and it seemed that today was no different. She scowled even harder when her last pick broke. Sighing in frustration she placed the tools in her purse and glared at the door. If looks could kill, the door would be dead. She got ready to turn to leave but figured she could try just turning the knob. She reached out and turned, the door not opening. Taking a deep breath, she turned to leave but saw a silver haired woman she had never met before coming down the hall. This would look back if she looked like she was breaking in and so she just stood there, calming herself and trying to look as though she was waiting for someone. ((I was hoping you would leave a space for something to happen, thanks ^.^))

V continued to whistle while twirling the keys, her gaze falling upon the first door on her left, counting till she reached the third but found a girl standing there. Her whistling stopped and she stopped twirling the keys, picking out the right one and walking up to the door. Before she opened it though she stared at the woman with a raised brow. "What do you need?" Remus didn't mention anything about a woman that might be expecting him and she wasn't about to let her in if she needed something from inside. She could go to him instead of waiting by his door, surely she either went to school here or worked here, she should know where he would be.

Sarah mentally sighed when the silver haired girl came up to Remus’s door and then asked her what she wanted. Something felt wrong about the girl in front of her, but she ignored it, blaming her nervousness at almost getting caught breaking into an office.
“Oh, I was just waiting for Remus. I accidentally left one of my notebooks in his office yesterday. He said that I could just go in and get it.” She put on a rather chipper smile, curling a strand of blond hair around her finger. She looked the woman up and down, and smirked through her smile lightly, but still looked quite happy. She didn’t know who this woman was, but she better keep her hands off of Remus. Master promised him to her if she did a good job. When they were done with him, he would be following any command she gave him. It just sounded like so much fun.
“Didn’t he tell you about me? I’m Sarah, and you are?” She introduced herself and stuck out her hand to shake. She was a good liar, but the only problem was, she didn’t know who the silver haired woman was. It could be dangerous to say the wrong things in front of the wrong person.

V stood there with a hand on her hip and the key in her free hand just staring at the girl. Waiting for Remus and just needed to get her notebook, she had a very slight look of disbelief on her face even though she wasn't aware of who this girl was and gave her an odd look before turning and sticking the key into the keyhole but stopped when she gave her name. Sarah. She quickly looked back at her, her gaze looking her over with a slight smirk. "Name's Valery." She answered, looking down at her outstretched hand.
With the smirk still there she grabbed her hand firmly and gave a slightly rough shake while at the same time kind of crushing her hand on her grip. "As a matter of fact I think he did mention you at dinner." She pulled her hand away, the key in it while she held her hand to her chin and looked up as if in thought. "Yeah, your always on him like a leech." She turned back to the door and stuck the key in and turned till there was a click, she placed it in her pocket and turned the knob and opened it slightly before looking to the girl. "What does your notebook look like? If he said you could just walk in and get it then the door wouldn't have been locked, your not getting in unless he is right here."
Now that she knew what the girl looked like she would keep the image in her head along with he smell and voice. After this little encounter she would be able to pick her out of a crowd. V stood there between Sarah and the door, slightly leaning against the frame. She seemed rather relax but had a slight look of boredom in her mismatched eyes. Compared to Sarah, V was a bit taller and gave off a feeling that she has been around awhile and knew a lot, having a mature look to her in a sense of age and wisdom, in a way.

“It’s nice to meet you, Valery.” Sarah responded through grit teeth as Valery crushed her hand in her grip. It felt like a vice and she gave the silver haired women a look before resuming her rather cheery disposition. The woman’s words came to her ears and she frowned, a look of surprise on her face. “D-dinner?” Was this woman seeing Remus? No, that couldn’t be right.
Sarah then proceeded to wear a distraught look on her face. “Leech? No, I only ask him for help sometimes.” She muttered, seeming quite upset. In reality she was furious. She could deal with the fact that he though her a leech, he could be punished for that later, but seeing another woman? Well, that was entirely out of the question. A flash of something dangerous and dark came flickered behind Sarah’s blue eyes, but she covered it up quite well. Soon enough he would be her little toy and there was nothing anyone could do about it.
Now that she thought about it, could this woman be like Remus? She had hair similar to his own and her eyes were also not the same color. It was an odd thought and she quickly dismissed it since the woman’s presence felt completely different. She seemed older than Remus, though her face and body looked to be the same age. This woman was something else, if she was anything at all.
Valery then commented about her note book, saying that she wasn’t going to let Sarah in unless Remus was there. Sarah frowned some, hiding her anger with a look that made it seem as though she was upset. “I-I’ll just come back later and tell him that I’m sorry for being such a bother.” She huffed and turned around with a hunched posture, quickly walking away with her purse clutched to her chest. As soon as her face was no longer in the silver haired girls range of sight, she smiled in a sick way, though her eyes burned like angry coals. She was going to have to keep an eye on that girl.

V kept a close eye on her, seeing what her next few reactions would be. A look from the grip and a frown along with surprise on her face when she had mentioned they had dinner. Well that wasn't a lie, they did have dinner but that's because she was a guest in his home, though Sarah probably would have thought they went out on some type of, what did the people call it again? Oh yeah, a date. V found it amusing with the distraught she wore on her face, the little information V had given her seemed to be quite upsetting. It gave her an idea that she would need to try out sometime today, actually, possibly a few times.
She caught something that others would have missed, unless they were closely watching her like V was. Something in her eyes, it only lasted a brief second but she still saw it. Those blue eyes held something not only dangerous but dark, V would have to keep an eye on her whenever possibly and try to figure out what this girl was quickly to find her weaknesses if something were to happen.
She nodded her head when Sarah said she would come back later and apologise to Remus for being a bother, turning around with a huff and walking away. She stood there though a few moments, waiting for the thuds of the girl's feet to fade away to know that she was fully gone. When she thought she was gone V turned back to the door and smile on her face and a shake of her head, she wanted something to happen today to make it interesting. She pushed the door open and went inside, making sure to pay attention to the sounds of footsteps in case the girl tried to sneak inside but there was nothing so she quickly grabbed the blue folder off the desk. She shut the door and locked it, turning the knob just in case and once satisfied she turned away and headed back to Remus, she wondered if he would say anything about her little encounter.
In a few minutes she was back, walking through the door and holding the folder up in the air. "I got some news for you."
(( Yeah, I'm not good with insults or anything. XD Leech was all I could come up with. lol ))

Remus wondered where V could be. She was taking longer than he thought was appropriate, but maybe she had trouble getting the door open or his filing cabinet might have been jammed. It did that sometimes. He sighed after typing one last sentence and saving his work. The morning were always so dreadfully slow. It also seemed as though many people had slept in late today or maybe had hit traffic due to the rain.
He looked up when he heard V's voice. She had the correct folder in her hand and he gave her a bit of a quizzical look. "What news?" He questioned as he took the folder from her and opened it, finding that it was indeed the correct one. He shut it and looked to V, pulling up a chair so that she could sit next to him. He was curious as to what news she would have after just coming back from his office.
Something was telling him that it had to do with why she was here, but he couldn't be sure about it. It was, however, part of the reason why he was actually fully paying attention to her. If he didn't think it was important than he would have continued his work while she spoke, though many people got annoyed with him for doing that. ((I actually thought leech was quite appropriate and good. ))

V fixed her hair when Remus took the folder, pulling a few strands behind her ears and taking a seat when he pulled a chair over. She looked around the room for a moment, her nostrils moving slightly as she sniffed the air and listened for anything abnormal. When she was sure nobody was near she turned to him with a smirk, pulling her chair close to where her legs had his and her hands on his knees with mismatched eyes staring into his. "I ran into that Sarah girl, she was standing outside your office. She tried telling me that she left something in there and that you said she could go in and get it but I felt that was a lie. You would've gave her a key or left the door unlocked. Did you give her permission to do so?"
It looked to be she was in his personal space again, she didn't do it on purpose, just sorta happened. She didn't realize this until after she was done speaking which made her smirk even more, she wondered what his reaction would be this time, afterall she was near what she assumed was a sensitive area.
She was leaning towards him when she was talking but now sat straight up, with one hand on his knee she brought her other one to her chin in thought. "She didn't really like what I had to say, especially when I mentioned me and you had dinner. Little girl has a crush on a certain someone from what I can put together." She puckered her lips as the last sentence, kind of using a mocking baby voice, if that is what you would call it. She quickly grew serious though and added. "Keep an eye on her, I saw something in her eyes Remus that didn't look too good. I am unsure of what she is still so we don't know if she will try anything even if it is still early."

Remus was not quite expecting V to get so close to him. It wasn’t completely obvious how uncomfortable it was for him. There was a slight stiffening of his back and shoulders; a very light coloring to his otherwise pale cheeks. He did, however, have no problem listening to the words that came out of V’s mouth. They were in fact intriguing to say the least.
He was surprised that she had already run into Sarah, but he was more surprised that the girl had been trying to get into his office by the sound of it. “You did well, as far as I know, she did not leave anything there. I also did not give her permission at any time to just go in and retrieve anything.” He looked thoughtful, as if he had momentarily forgotten the positioning that he was in with V. It was only momentarily because he looked forward and could almost feel her breath on his skin. The touch of her hands was something he tried not to notice due to where they were located. In all his life he had never quite been in this sort of position with a female. He really wasn’t sure what he was feeling.
She straightened up, though one of her hands lingered on his knee. His mismatched eyes were stuck on that one hand until she started speaking. His eyebrow quirked in response to her words, the tone of her voice almost pulling a smile from him but he only smirked slightly. “That’s absurd. I never gave her any reason to like me any more than a student should like a professor.” He responded, looking a bit shocked at the revelation that there could be a female that liked him. He had been given looks before, ones that he thought meant more than the actions behind them, but after a woman got to know him a little bit better, they tended to leave that fantasy in the trash.
He then nodded his head when she told him to be wary of her. He would make sure to keep an eye on the girl, though he was unsure of what to look for in case she was in fact not human. “Will do.” He said and looked up as someone came into the room.

V did not notice his back stiffening up, even if she did she would not have done anything more than she already was doing. Her brow raised slightly as he confirmed that he didn't give her permission to try entering his office, it made her wonder if she tried getting in before she had turned the corner. Was it possible? V wasn't too sure but she was thinking that she probably was trying to, maybe gathering information with that flash drive Remus said she gave the man in the vision. She looked to the side, if only she was there a few seconds earlier.
Her hand remained where it was, the other going back to his other knee as he responded to her saying the girl liked him. Absurd? No, she has seen that happen before, it's very common. "People are weird like that, you can give them either very little or next to nothing and they will still find something in you that they like."
It was true, someone she fell for before she was very cruel to at first, it wasn't her fault though. Those were dangerous times, you had to watch your back every moment of the day and night. If it wasn't for that guy she would probably not be here. His family took her in, fed her and provided her with shelter even though they knew the danger they were bringing. Into their home. Lost in thought V's hands gripped his knees slightly, she was facing him but her eyes seemed to be looking right through Remus, a blank expression on her face.
They sound of somebody entering the room caused her to snap out of it, letting go of Remus and moving away, keeping her back to whoever it was.

He noticed that V moved her hand back onto her knee, the she-wolf’s apparent lack of personal boundaries made Remus a bit uneasy. He wouldn’t comment on it though, for fear that she would make fun of him for it. He really could do without that. Her words didn’t really make sense to him, though he assumed they were true. How one like someone else based on very little information? There was lust, which remained based on looks, but Remus had never really known if he was attractive for a male or not. He was tall and in shape, but beyond that he didn’t pay much mind.
Remus’s eyes narrowed slightly when V didn’t move. Her eyes didn’t seem to even be looking at him, despite the fact that they were staring directly at his face. She must have been thinking about something and Remus could understand that, but he didn’t know why she couldn’t think about it somewhere not leaning on his lap. It was getting a bit uncomfortable.
She moved when someone came into the room, Remus sighing lightly and turning to face his computer. It was only a student. They had their nose buried in a stack of papers so they hadn’t noticed the two yet. Remus recognized him and knew that there was a stack of papers for him on this desk somewhere. ((We can speed this up anyway you want. If you have any ideas let me know.))
