She looked up at him when he brushed her cheek softly with a warm smile. At his cute words she nodded," I agree, it's been very sad with out you but I've done what I could to keep my chin up. I knew you were innocent and would come home." She stated firmly with a smile as she gave hims a small kiss to his palm as it was close to her face. When he went on to say her father was a kind man she nodded," Indeed, he agree to let you lead the family here, after he retired that is. He said that I would only pick some one to be in love with if I knew were a good person and could keep the house in good standings. So you should be a good fit for the title." She stated with a happy smile. She stood after a moment and readjusted Ferris who wanted to chew on her dress. She watched as Illia attempted to strong arm the large man into letting her play with his hair, but it seemed Darius was okay with that. She gave him a loving smile and moved over closer to him again, hugging the man, both babies between them. "I have could never be happier Darius. I have you, and two beautiful children with you. We are both alive, together and you are getting your name back and your family is alright. Things are wonderful. " she stated giving him a soft kiss before someone in the hall called for them to come to dinner... °°°°°°°°° Illia was watching with wide eyes as Uncle Cyrus attempted to show Ferris how to hold a sword but he seemed much more curious about the bird in the tree. Illia moved over to her uncle and pulled on his coat,"I wanna learn too!" She stated in an expectant way of her uncle, batting her blue eyes at the man.

The last six years had been busy, but seemed to go by as quickly as they came. With the arrest of Thaddeous and return of Iros, the Vasilliou family saw growth and change under the holdings the Terebourne returned to them. Soon the estate was rebuilt and they were able to take their place back in the social heirarchy of Rome. It seemed as though once the money was handled, the family began to heal once more. Which started with the return of Darius to the family line. Of course his name remained Terebourne, but his holdings were returned by the Vasilliou home. Although they found some protest and shock from the highly ranked families due to his poor patron deity, none wished to incur the wrath of the Terebourne name. It was why the scandal of Anemone remaining unwed with two children stayed out of most mouths and ears in front of loyal company. However, that scandal didn't last long. Darius worked his way tirelessly through study and time learning the laws and the business side of things. He made his way up through the ranks until finally his father felt comfortable with him attaining his seat in the council. While he was still working closely with Lord Terebourne, Darius found he got along with the man pretty well. IN fact they had similar views on most things for the city and of course their protective nature over Anemone and the twins. His family had also seen a few changes through the years. Darius and Anemone were finally allowed to marry even if Darius and Anemone were able to take a double name. It was the happiest occasion for Darius, who found he was finally able to bring his perfect little family together. And the twins were no short supply of energy and effort as they grew into very distinct people. Illia was a bright eyed and outgoing little girl, that retained much of her father's spirit for trouble yet favored her mother's elegance while doing it. She wielded her smart mouth like a finely crafted sword, even at a young age. Worst of all, she knew she had her father wrapped around her little finger with just a bat of those big blue eyes and the way she knew she melted his heart when she called for him. Ferris was no less on Darius's heart or mind even if the boy was attached to his mother most nights. He was an intelligent and creative little boy, often found in the gardens gazing at flowers or animals that wandered onto the property. He got in no fewer adventures with his sister, even if that wound up flustering the nanny that helped Anemone keep an eye on them while she was away on social or political calls with Darius or needed a moment to herself. He was the softer and less devious of the pair, but no less the apple of Darius's eye. Helena often teased Darius that his children would end up spoiled if he treated them as leniently as he had with her. Now a young girl of about 11, Helena hadn't lost any of her mother's confident personality or her father's humor. It was in no short supply in her visits to see the twins and Darius often blamed Illia's sass on Helena. She was a young lady in training currently under Lysandra's quick tutelage, even if Lysandra was currently having to take a break from lessons to tend to her own needs. Over time she and Cyrus grew closer and even decided to have a child of their own. They had only found out a week ago that she was expecting and that had thrown a little more liveliness into the group of adults, including Ysold who was happy as she could be for the pair. While she was still involved in Helena's life as her mother and in the twin's life as another aunt, she spent most of her time managing the Siren's Call and even moved herself to a lovely estate in a nicer part of the city. Cyrus of course helped, as he had come into a little extra money by taking over the affairs of the Nasso family. Not to mention, he'd appointed himself Ferris's trainer, despite Darius being suspicious of teaching a 6 year out to hold a weapon. But Cyrus assured him that the sooner they began, the better that Ferris would be. It was during one such training session that Cyrus was beginning to think he bit off more than he could chew. Ferris was off in his own little world and thankfully the sword was a wood toy that he had purchased for the boy. As he showed him the grip, he noted that Ferris only seemed to nod before turning his attention away. Cyrus gave a sigh, shortly before he felt a tug on his coat. He looked to Illia and heard her plea to learn. He had already been warned by Lysandra to leave Illia out of the training as it would make her "unapproachable" by potential suitors. But Cyrus viewed knowledge of defense as universal. Helena knew how to protect herself so why shouldn't Illia. Besides, it was only a toy sword and he wasn't getting anywhere with Ferris. "Alright alright, but don't go telling your aunt or I'm in trouble. Got it?" He teased before letting Ferris go admire the bird a bit more. "Now open your hand and let me show you how to hold it right. I won't have a pair of hooligans running around with blades that can just run themselves through." He gave the wood blade to the little girl and showed her how to hold it, which drew his attention away from people coming into the garden. Darius had returned from handling some business down by the ports and had decided to return home for lunch. The maid met him at the door and told Darius where he could find the three. He found Illia currently standing straight with a wooden blade in her hand, looking wrapt up in her lesson from Cyrus. Meanwhile, Ferris looked to be having his own fun exploring the plants. With a smile, he went to his daughter's side and gave her side a tickle to distract her. "What a fierce warrior of Athena." He teased since she looked fierce with the little sword. "Try not to hurt your uncle, Illia. He's old and decrepit." He gave Cyrus a snicker which earned him a sharper look from Cyrus. "Says the man working himself grey. She's got a heck of an arm though." Cyrus said, avoiding where she gave the sword a swing. Darius gave a chuckle at the news and went to his son. He picked the boy up and balanced him on his shoulder so that he could get a closer look at the bird. "I see you're not loving the lessons quite like your sister, are you kiddo?" He asked the little boy on his shoulder since he didn't want to force something on Ferris that he didn't want, even if he thought it important, like his mother, that the children should learn defense. "Now where is mommy? Out with Aunty Amrena?" He asked since Ferris usually had tabs on Anemone and he knew that Anemone had mentioned going wedding dress shopping with her sister a day or two ago.

When Uncle cyrus caved to her wished she nodded with a smile and took the wooden sword to see what this mess was about and why only Ferris was being taught. She easily got the grip swiftly and swung it a little to teat the balance of the wooden blade, she frowned a little since jt was kinda heavy still and stated as such but didn't look ready to give up yet. She jumped a little when her father tickled her side, giving him a small giggle since it tickled her. When he called her a warrior princess her puffed up her little chest since she liked that idea. Their father often telling them stories of heros and warriors. She decided to do a couple more swings of the sword but was still listening to the men. She face scrunched again,"daddy, you know mommy's favorite color is blue- not grey silly." She child corrected as if it were an easy thing to do, not that she understood what they meant. Ferris was watching a snake on the garden, over by the wall and was making sure it stayed away from everyone, it seemed harmless but snakes gave him the creeps so he was good if it stayed over there. He hadnt been paying much attention when he was suddenly hoisted up and he saw his father. When he put him higher up he did glance around and saw a bird he had glanced at before, it gave a chirp on its branch and that amused him well enough. When asked about the lessons he shook his head,"No, there was a snek." He stated, not fully able to snake well yet. She was letting his father know he was being a brave protector, like his mommy told him to be. When his favorite topic came up, Ferris got excited and nodded,"Mommy!" He stated happily however in a few moments Anemone came out the door looking questioning at Ferris but did smile when she saw her husband. She moved forward and gave the man a lingering kiss. "Well hello there my husband." She stated coyly however Ferris wanted to talk about the snake. "Momma, snek!" He stated loudly to her. She gave a sigh,"did you see the snake again my love?" She asked as she picked up Ferris from Darius and put the child on her hip. He nodded before giving her a hug seemingly pleased to be with his mother forever. "It will be fine." She stated as a guard she had nodded to moved to go check on what kind of snake it was to be sure the family was safe. "Do you tire of your lessons? I see Illia took over, as usual." She stated with a smirk since Illia was definatly the string headed child of the two, Ferris just wanted his mothers love and attention. "Thank you for watching them Uncle Cyrus. I had been dress shopping with my sister but we stopped in to see Lysy." She called to the man happily. She did put Ferris down after a minute, the boy getting heavy,"Go try to take your lessons with your sister." She stated getting the boy to nod and skip off, leaving her with Darius. She leaned into his space and gave him another kiss," See, the fates found for everything to be perfect in the end. We both deserve happiness and I'm glad we both decided that was with one another. I love you." She stated softly since she liked to often tell him she was happy and never wavering on her love for him.
