The news that she knew no one, except some cat that helped her, probably a Kelvic, meant that this lost little girl was going to be stuck up creek without a paddle. Maybe the cat was just willing to help her, but they couldn't be sure...Hirvi wasn't too impressed by the news that she should do something that sounded like leaving, especially since it would be by herself with no one to take her in. Did she realize that she was in an area of town that could kill her for being alone? He looked to Halsten who was giving him the eyes, the 'see I told you she needed help' look. Hirvi sighed, not liking this idea that Halsten would be right about anything. When the girl stood, Hirvi's ears flicked upwards and he caught the sound of foot fall nearby. "Vic--" Halsten started to say but it ended up with her drenched in beer and the waitress looking shocked. Before they could say much, Vicari was being ushered off to get cleaned up, leaving the men alone to discuss. "What were you thinking dragging that girl over here?" Hirvi growled in a low tone, making Halsten frown. "She looked lost, scared in fact. You saw she was hurt. I couldn't just let someone take advantage of her." Hirvi nodded, agreeing but he knew that there was more to this than just that. For all they knew, this girl could be lying. She could be a pet running away or even someone's prize that got loose. Either way, they would be thrown in prison for assisting a Kelvic, someone's property. No matter how much he hated that, he couldn't deny that it existed and it could end them in a serious situation. "She could be someone's pet, run off. We are here to be unnoticed. That stint earlier already screwed us--" "Pet? You mean she's a--?" The pair shut up quickly when Vicari came back, this time sporting a red dress that looked lovely on her paler form. However it drew Hirvi's eyes to her feet briefly, but she was quick to cover them up. The waitress told them that they would be getting a free round, which at least pleased Halsten. Her comment about it being uncomfortable made Halsten give her a sympathetic look and a small shrug. "But it looks nice. Normal even--Not that you don't look normal because your a--" He sucked in a breath when Hirvi kicked him in the shin again to shut him up. For now people needed to either think she was a normal girl or a pet, and the latter would seem hard to believe with this half wit talking to them and drinking with them like old friends. So that left one option, to help out this poor girl before something worse happened. "Look we can't have you wandering around, smelling of beer." Halsten began and Hirvi nodded some. "Kelvics run into problems when they are alone. It's law here that they are either leashed pets or someone's trophy." He added, just being honest since the girl seemed aware that all was not okay here for her to be walking around... "If you would like, stick with us for at least tonight, eh? We may be new to here too but we can at least give you a place to stay tonight so you can figure out where you're headed next." Halsten offered, though his attention left Vicari for the drinks that arrived. He thanked the woman before offering a drink to Vicari, a smile on his face. "So what's your answer cutie? Do you mind hanging out with us for tonight or would you rather get back to the cat garden?" Hirvi wasn't sure if it was alright for the girl to stay with them since they already could have targets on their backs. They weren't exactly welcome here if someone figured out which side they were on. His ears rotated in the direction of the door, his dark eyes flicking in the direction of the door. A man entered that had something dark about his appearance, a smell to him that made a part of Hirvi's senses go off in alarm. There was something not right with him, but that was the case with most people here...

at halstens comment vicari shifted her feet a little. she couldnt understand why but everytime she was near a human she felt so bad about what she was, she felt like it was wrong. maybe thats why she had stayed in the forrest for the majority of her lifetime.
vicari listened to halsten and hirvi talk and finally let out a sigh her shoulders dropping. "i, i would very much appreciate the help thank you." she said timidly taking the beer and smelling it before taking a sip. her nose instantly wrinkled "BLEH!!!" she looked back down at the drink and took another sip "eeckkk" she sputtered and looked up at the table next to them, a man threw back his beer drinking nearly half in one gulp "oh is that the way to drink it?" she grabbed the cup with two hands and shot it back setting back down an empty class a few moments later a shutter running up her back "ugh... i think this one has gone bad" she mumbled before she let out a squeak of a hiccup

Halsten was glad she accepted the help and drink, while Hirvi was slightly relieved she didn't want to run off again out there. It just wasn't safe and he hardly wanted to be responsible for the girl getting harmed because they didn't offer the help. He took his drink in his hands and took a swig of it, nearly spitting it out in a laugh when Vicari made a noise like someone just shoved something vile down her throat. He paused to watch her drink, another sip, his brows raising as he brought the back of his hand up to deflect a small chuckle. Halsten didn't watch her really since he was enjoying his own drink, but when she downed her's quicker than he had, his interest was peaked. "Atta girl! Lets have another!" He said with a cheer, downing his a bit more smoothly before motioning to the bar maid to bring another round. Hirvi gave Vicari a small shake of his head. "They all taste like that. Or at least the good ones do. The humans like this sort of thing for the feelings it gives them." He advised, knowing the first time Halsten sat him down and shoved drinks at him, he got so dizzy and sick he couldn't stand properly. For a deer, balance was a big part of functioning, especially when your horns held weight. When another round was brought, Halsten smiled brightly before he raised a brow at her. "So, Vic, just what kind of spirit are you? I don't see any antlers or ears, not even a tail." Hirvi gave him quick frown. "Pardon him. He can be talkative when he drinks." Hirvi told Vicari since the girl was in for an earful.

The bar was a little crowded and noisy as it should have been but it was obvious when he walked in a portion of the crowd went silent to see what kind of mood he was in. The regulars were eyeing him with a bit of a pitied yet more sheltered face one that wouldn't show their emotion since he was a harsh man, knowing the pity would get them his anger. His eyes scanned the bar seeing a few Kelvics and he pulled his lips into a fight frown as his brow puckered a bit, making him seem angry. Heading to the bar front he got a tankard and only had to glance over to the man next to him to get him to move. Helping himself to the now empty seat it seemed the noise level almost came back to its loud hub bub. He finished his drink in about three swigs, having to get another before moving his eyes about the bar again to get a better feel of the room. A couple of men sent their Kelvics' outside knowing Kovit didn't like them for many reasons. His eyes fell on a man who was sitting with two Kelvics, which was just double the misfortune in his opinion. The one with horns looked like it had an attitude but it kept its eyes away from him well enough, the other one looked like a nervous thing, probably new property. he glowered at the girl knowing it was her fault for being born as she was, most had that problem to him. Just as a person had a choice- he assumed they did as well since there were a few who needed to be put down with their 'prideful' issues. He had done so many times here in the city already- knowing when he saw something bad happen, such as when the 'property' fights back- he gets involved and it ends badly for the Kelvic- usually it just ends. He turned his eyes to some one else in the bar however he glanced over to a woman who was sitting in the darker corner with a hood up and she was glaring at him, making him smile. He knew who this was- it was one of his usual 'customers'. Often getting dragged back to her owner since she liked spending time alone but it seemed she had crept out and he was fortunate enough to have found her. He crooked a finger to her with a smile that was genuine since he was going to enjoy beating her, he often did. She glared back at him, her fork like tongue flicking out of her mouth to taste the atmosphere to perhaps figure out if she could get out before he caught her. Downing his drink he stood, making her stand as well, a defensive look to her as she circled her table quickly to perhaps get to the door- her legs taking her as far as touching the door handle before his hand came down on her hood, grabbing hold of her hair. The girl made a small noise to scream, fangs extended as he grabbed her neck hard and slammed her face into the door. The slamming noise was accompanied with a hard crack, a smile on his lips as he heard it knowing it was going to be a rather painful evening. "Selva- haven't I told you to stay home where your wanted? No one wants you in public. I've told you so many times before...Can't you learn?" He asked her more as an adult asking a slow child what their name was. A few patrons looked away knowing it was sad but little could be done, others cheered at the hunt Kovit was on. The girl tried to pull his hands from her but it was useless as his grip only tightened as he slammed her head into the door again. "Perhaps you need it beaten into you?" He asked getting a few laughs from some patrons, the bar tender frowning at Kovit. "Take it out side Kovit. I want no more blood on the floor this evein'." The man said over the noise to Kovit knowing he was often told to go outside to administer a punishment. With a light nod he opened the door and threw the Kelvic out first- knowing she couldn't run fast enough away from him. He was content to beat this Kelvic into submission and drag it home perhaps after a bit, knowing its owner didn't mind the blood however when he saw whom had the dumb thing made him stop in the door way with a hard glare, turning his head to spit on the ground towards them. ------------ Mauro smiled as Svea commented on going to see the rabbit to perhaps check for more injuries again, however they didn't find the poor thing in the gardens. With a small frown he changed over to a more cat like form- his back coming to just over her knees- marking him a larger house cat. His green eyes were raking the ground but it was his delicate nose that found her sent first leading her to the barn- and then threw a few places to a bar of all places- making them bother rather confused. Crouched on the ground like he was hunting, really smelling to be very sure since this wasn't a very good place for a rabbit- when the door suddenly opened and a Kelvic he actually knew came crashing out more or less and her body landing on half of him pinning him. Mauro gave out a surprised yelp as he tried to wiggle free of the woman's weight however she turned into her more natural form, a large snake however there were scars on her scales and some blood near her face, the snake coiled in defense near the cat. Mauro gave it a night hiss before sitting up more properly and licking his paw, dragging it over his head, to clean off the dirt that had gotten there. Svea however was glaring at the door, her hands on her hips as she pursed her lips at Kovit knowing this was his doing. "Good evening Svea. What brings you out tonight?" Kovit asked in a polite voice totally ignoring the pets there as if they didn't exist. "You do understand that they feel pain right? Or are you just homicidal tonight?" She countered with an insult making him shrug with a smirk. "You know how work is, can't have a soft heart with rule breakers...now can we?" he said before turning his eyes back to his prey of the evening.

The night was upon them quicker than Fionbarr would have liked. He made it into the northern town as the moon peaked between the wispy clouds. His cloak dragged across the ground; a hushed whisper in his wake. There were few people on the streets; those that were gave him a wide berth as he painted an imposing picture. A pale brown gloved hand rested on the hilt of his sword, an amulet on his chest glinting in the torchlight about the village. His long blond hair was braided and messy, drawn away from his face. The blackened leather mask on the left side of his face seemed to continue to his right cheek as dirt smudged his face. It had been a long journey since his last rest. It was time for a new job since the last had him searching far and wide for not enough coin. His grey eyes were dull as he observed for somewhere to find a warm meal. His shoulders felt light without his companion but he knew she was out finding herself something fresh to eat. Maybe a few squirrels or an unlucky rabbit would meet their end tonight so as to fill his Rimée’s belly. He often enjoyed watching her hunt, the way her keen sight caught even the slightest of movements and her body gracefully dived to capture her prey. She was so very skilled and he was glad to have such a companion who was so loyal to him. This was a bigger settlement than the last he had been privy to explore. He followed the sounds of merriment and came across a building with a warm light, a sign that gave way its interior peaking his stomach’s interest from afar. There was a lady and a cat walking from the opposite direction of him. However, before he had gotten too close to the door, it swung open and a female was thrown to the ground, landing atop the scrambling feline. A man stepped out, looking rather pleased with himself, though the woman seemed furious. The ensuing dialog and the clips and bits which Fionbarr overheard made him think that the two knew each other. A breath of air came from him as he continued forward but found that the doorway was still being blocked by the man and the woman. He blinked and cocked his head to the side slightly, grey eyes glancing up towards the sky. His Rimée would be back soon. He was right. Moments later a piercing cry echoed throughout the night, rebounding off of the buildings about the village. Fionbarr raised his left arms out, drawing strange looks from anyone who might look his way. It made sense seconds after when a large eagle swooped down between the man and woman and then landed upon Fionbarr’s outstretched forearm. He cooed softly and she nibbled at his right hand whose fingers were grazing her beak. After the brief moment of public fondness, the masked man watched as the raptor jumped off of the makeshift perch, its wings spread out, nearing a seven foot span. Its cream underbelly flashed in the darkness of the night before it’s body began morphing into that of a nude female, however very little of her body was shown as Fionbarr had already unclasped his cloak, billowing it out around her so as to keep the view of her lovely form away from prying eyes. The pretty brown haired woman that had taken the eagle’s place smile at him with soft eyes, pulling the cloak that smelled of pine and dirt about her before reaching out and smudging away some of the dirt that had attacked itself to Fionbarr’s face. “Such a gentleman as always.” She spoke softly, ignoring the two Nordics and two Kelvic’s to her back. Fionbarr did not smile but took her soft hand in his calloused ones, pulling it from his face. “How was your hunt?” He questioned, words purposeful and thick. Blikja tilted her head to the side in a half shrug, her blue-grey eyes wrapped with thick black markings giving her an intensely innocent expression. “Successful enough. Remind me not to go after squirrels in this region again.” Blikja replied as she bared her white teeth, tongue digging between them for a piece of meat. “They’re too sinewy.” Her words caused a faint tug at the corner of Fionbarr’s visible lips and it caused Blikja to feel a sense of elation in her heart. How she longed to see him smile! She doubted he knew just how much she craved it. Fionbarr rested his gloved hand on her shoulder and spun her around to face the door. They pushed past the previous blockade and entered, not a care in the world for how their relationship was perceived or even how Fionbarr’s appearance was viewed. Once inside of the bar, glances were made in their direction, many finding it odd to see a pretty girl in an oversized cloak and a strange man with his arms bare but for one glove that reached up to his left elbow. Some would recognize him purely by the mask on his face while others would have no clue as to who he was. All Fionbarr knew was that someone would know who he was. Another job would be provided for him. All he needed to do was eat a meal in the company of his Rimée. Blikja led him to a corner table, a wall to his back. She went and grabbed him a drink, preferring to allow him the pleasure than taste the bitter drink that would dull her senses and make her about as useful as a baby chick. Her strange eyes surveyed the patrons, taking in the sight of Nordics and their pet Kelvics. The sight made her uncomfortable; the idea of being owned by someone was unappealing to her. She stayed by Fionbarr’s side because it was what she wanted, not because she was forced, though many wouldn’t believe her and if they did than they would simple spit in her face and call her a turn coat for helping a man who had come to be known as one of the best Kelvic killers around. Fionbarr ordered himself and they sat together in silence. The man occassionally reaching up and caressing Blikja's head before blinking and realizing what he had done. It was a habit he picked up doing when they were alone together for periods of time. She looked pleased when he did so but she tried to hide it by looking down and biting her lip. It would be inappropriate for her to show how much she appreciated the little signs of affection he gave only to her in public. Fionbarr wouldn't like that and Blikja, well she wanted nothing to do with something that would irritate him.

Vicari smiled at both halsten and Hirvi "no its ok in this form its hard for them to see! Im the white rabbit." She said rather proudly "there have only been 2 white rabbits before me. we rarely get caught you see" she smiled with a lot of pride. most of the other kelvics had been reborn many times. "-And i do have a tail its just that-" the crashing around the bar of the man leaping out at the women made Vicari jump in her seat as they bolted out the door "we....we have to..." she couldnt even finish her sentence before she felt her feel carrying herself quickly to the door "...help her!" as she stepped out into the cold night air she nearly ran smack into the large man who was pursuing the poor snake kelvic. she side stepped and ended up stumbling into the cat again "oh! hello... youre not here to eat me i hope" she said with a coy smile "i was going to return the horse blanket eventually but it got all sticky... and" she chuckled slightly and took another step back before looking over at the snake and how terrified it was
"now wait!" she said walking in between the man and the snake glaring at him up and down before picking the snake up "shes hurt" she almost growled and stroked the snakes head with a finger "please dont bite me i really am scared of you" she whispered to the snake knowing full well snakes enjoyed eating rabbit "who does something-" she started and then saw the hate in the mans eyes and she felt her arms grip the snake a little tighter "that is...um..." she stammered getting the sense she had done the very stupid thing of getting herself into a bad situation again

Mauro was tense as another figure joined Kovit's in the door way however they seemed clumsy and pushed past him to help out Selva. She didn't bite the poor things so he assumed it was alright to let her be. He however got a few words from the woman noticing she was a Kelvic by sent- one he was looking for in fact. His eyes darted to Svea who was still giving Kovit a nasty look however it seemed his attention was else where as soon as the new comer arrived. Svea took that moment to change her look to a slightly softer one towards Mauro. "Take them home please. I think Kovit is distracted enough for them to slink off." She said softly to let him know it was time for them to be leaving since it seemed the rabbit was fine. Selva didn't hesitate and slithered off behind a barrel to break the alley way that was blocked- wanting away from Kovit- as far away as possible. He nodded back to Svea before shifting his eyes to Kovit- wondering what had his attention however the smell of a large predator made his fur stand on end. Eyes wide he took a leap or two to get back to Svea- partly hiding behind her legs as he looked the new comer over with the large raptor bird there however it turned into a pretty woman. He was silent as he watched Kovit move easily from their way allowing them inside since it seemed he was curious about these new comers- thought Svea knew it was a bad sort of curious- always was with Kovit. He was indeed fascinated by the large bird- though not for the reasons most would think. He knew this duo- famous head hunters. He had heard them taking quite a few larger Kelvics down highhandedly and he was more then impressed however he would have liked to see a few of the stories to see if they were true or exaggerated even if only a little. He watched then sit and get drinks and food, wondering what brought them there as well- since most here in the north had their Kelvic's under control and if they didn't- they paid with their lives often enough.

Halsten rose at the commotion going on with the poor snake, watching her get thrown from the bar like a rag. He wanted to go over and grab this odd brute throwing her around, but Hirvi stood and shoved him back down. "Don't we don't need this--" Halsten was about to protest Hirvi but was surprised when Vicari got up and ran over to the sight of commotion without much thought. Hirvi on the other hand seemed unconcerned, almost annoyed. White rabbits rarely got caught huh? She seemed to be the break in that chain. He knew it wasn't fair to think that, but he was a bit of a cynic. Deer were often dumb creatures after all and too trusting or proud, getting caught easily enough because of it. He learned to be better than his species. Or at least smart enough to align himself with the right people. Hasten shoved him off when things got serious, his eyes flicking instead to a pair that entered the tavern. He noted they looked mysterious and strong, like something out of a tale from his childhood of the anti-heroes coming to town to destroy settlements...In other words, he left them alone in favor of a woman that entered the bar with Vicari. This woman was a pretty thing, red hair and a Kelvic with her that was some form of cat. Could this be the people that helped Vicari in the begining? Hirvi nose twitched at the smell of death in the room, coming from the woman there with the man. The man gave off a bad aura that made him want to shrink back into a corner and be as inconspicuous as possible. But of course Halsten wouldn't have that. "Vicari, everything alright?" Hasten called to her, since she seemed caught up with the cat and he was a bit buzzed from his drinks at the moment, his tongue looser. Hirvi wanted to kick him, but simply let his glare do the talking...

Svea came into the bar with Mauro who was following the rabbit, completely content as a cat rather then a more human shape knowing Svea would keep him safe. She offered him her arms and he gladly lept there into her arms letting her hold him there to her chest and stroke his fur. Svea followed he rabbit to where she was talking to two men- well a man and a Kelvic- a deer? Yes she had seen a few but knew they were rather dumb creatures. She shrugged the thought off and gave them both a smile as she came over noticing the girl's odd behavior. "Greetings gentlemen. I'm happy to hear you are friends to this little one. She apparently had a hard day at the market today." She said in a smooth tone as she gave a soft smile to Vicari.

Fionbarr drank and Blikja watched. He was in no mood to be social with his Rimée but he did offer her the occasional glance. She would, as per usual, look away and pretend to be interested in something other than his face. He found this little act to be humorous. She was a smart girl, yet there were times when she was not very sly. “Is my face that dirty?” He finally said after eating half of his plate. Blikja’s eyes widened but her lips crooked into a half smile and she reached, trying to touch his cheek. He pulled away and she bit her lip in concern. “Someone is watching.” Fionbarr said in a hushed tone. He knew that his Rimée was trying not to show hurt at doing something that would displease him. It was why he was not angry with her for trying to touch his face in a way a lover might. She was silent for a moment but as she blinked her eyes, Blikja’s mood returned. She found other things to look at; interactions that intrigued her and individuals that caught her attention. The little group that she had flown by entered and her nostrils flared at the scents they brought. She thought she sensed two or three Kelvics in the group. When Fionbarr had originally found her, she was terrible at discerning between animals and her own kind, however, over the years she had remembered the feeling that another Kelvic gave her. Her eyes trailed others around the room but they continued to land back on the little party who seemed to have become interested in two men—no a man and a male Kelvic sitting at a table. She focused her attention on their words and tried to listen from afar. The strange female with the long white hair seemed full of energy and an overflowing sense of joy however; it seemed she was the most innocent and foolish of the group. The men at the table caught her attention over the cat in the ladies arms. She could taste his nervous energy from here. The human male had drunk of the liquid that dulled ones senses and loosened ones tongue. The white haired male Kelvic, well his glare and seeming displeasure at the entire situation was entertaining. Blikja stretched her arms out on the table before crossing them and laying her head down, blue-grey eyes focusing intently on the male Kelvic. Every move and twitch he made she was going to observe. If Fionbarr didn’t want her to watch him eat than she was going to find someone else to watch instead. So she let her gaze bore into him and she waited until he glanced her way, smiling coyly and quirking a brow as if daring him to ask her what she was doing. The sound of a heavy cup hitting wood made Blikja blink. Fionbarr’s rough hand rested atop her head and he drummed his fingers gently. He was finished with his meal and now more fully observing those around him. It was noisy and a strange group had clustered around one particular table. He had noticed his Rimée was watching the group rather intently and he glanced down at her face, half hidden in her bare arms, now uncovered by his cloak. “What are you looking at with such interest?” He murmured softly, sliding his hand down her hair and onto her upper back where the soft black fur engulfed it. Blikja nuzzled herself more into her arms, her eyes not leaving the group. His tone was not one that meant he wanted her to stop and so she did not. “This group is made up of an interesting mix of individuals. Their words and actions speak a great deal more than what I think they are intending on letting others know.” Blikja replied smoothly and her eyes slid from the handsome male Kelvic to the female Kelvic once more. The girl’s back was to Blikja but it mattered not. Blikja was just curious as to how there could be one such as herself with such innocence in their eyes in a Northern town. Was she a youngling or simply one who was unknowledgeable of the strife in the world? Fionbarr hummed in reply and leaned back in his seat. He thumbed the edge of the black mask covering half of his face. Honestly he was intrigued as well, however, more of his interest was focused on finding another job. He didn’t like to sit in one place for very long. It wasn’t comfortable for him to begin to be recognized after a few days of staying in a town. He knew his Rimée sometimes tired of it, especially in the spring when her senses drove her to try and nest. She fought it well for him and he appreciated the effort. His mouth felt dry and he licked his lips, glancing at the bar maid who seemed to have her attention focused on a particularly handsy patron. The deep sigh he let out made Blikja turn her head towards him and sit up. She looked at him with a bit of concern but followed his gaze to the barmaid and her lips twitched into a light frown. She knew Fionbarr enough to know what he wanted. She stood, her arms hiding once more underneath of the large dark cloak. She made her way towards the barmaid but had to pass by her little group of entertainment first. As she passed close behind the white haired Kelvic girl, she heard her mention something about running and a mischievous little smirk pulled at her lips. “Running only encourages a chase.” She spoke softly as she walked by, trailing a finger down the other girl’s arm as she passed. She could tell by her movements that this Kelvic was not one to hunt but rather be hunted. Sometimes Blikja wanted to have a little fun. She hoped the reaction would be worth the chance that Fionbarr would be irritated by her actions.

Halsten looked at Vicari first, noticing her response was rather funny if it wasn't a sign of worry for the men. So wait, did this cat kelvic hurt her? Halsten looked a bit leery of the animal in the woman's arms however looking up at the woman his worry somewhat faded. He liked red-heads, found them usually being spit-fires. But, this one had the decorum of a lady, so he kept his manners. "Hi. Well, yes Vicari is a--" "Pet. My master keeps two of us for travel." Hirvi interjected, looking apathetic to the conversation however he leaned over a bit to whisper in Vicari's ear. "I apologize for being forward, but we can't let the big guy in the corner know you aren't property. Please bear with the white lie for a moment and I promise I'll make sure we get out of here unscathed..." He added, softer to her than his original coldness since he held a slight give way towards Vicari's demeanor. Rather bouncy thing and at least she had some fight in her. When the woman approached and touched Vicari, Hirvi got a scent from her, his ears flexing up and pivoting one following her while the other twitched in the direction of her counterpart. In other words, they were what he assumed they were. Hunters, and being a couple of southern rebels was not exactly a good thing to encounter with hunters. He had run into a few before here and there, defended himself kind of well until Halsten saved his ass. Well at least that was what Halsten claimed... Halsten raised a brow at Hirvi's words, but Hirvi's glare gave away that he was supposed to play along. "Yeah, little Vicari can get a bit lost at times. Your cat looks comfortable. I should be thanking you two for finding her." He said, though he felt a bit wrong lying to the pretty woman, let alone even playing into the role of the sick practice of owning another.

Svea rose a brow at the Kelvic interrupted its so called' owner'. That would have gotten it beaten around here but it seemed this 'owner' was more lenient. She turned her smile to Halsten however as she looked him over better. A woman standing in a dark cloak- the one from earlier caught her front most attention as she pasted them, touched the girl's arm and speaking lightly about their conversation. It made her frown a bit and looked after her as she passed but brought her eyes back to Halsten as he spoke. She had felt Mauro shiver in her arms in slight fear of the large woman, knowing she would hurt him. At his words that her 'cat' was comfy, Mauro gave a little hiss at him knowing he was thinking- as everyone did that he hurt the rabbit. Svea stroked the fur between his ears, making his eyes close slowly and silently made him more content. "Mauro is a good boy. He got your Vicari out of the markets. A minor hunter from the woods got her. You should be more careful about where you let them roam, its not exactly safe here now days." She said getting a small mew of agreement from Mauro. He was almost too comfortable to speak really, not caring for this new company when he had his Svea.
