She came forward as expected of her but she asked what that was about, making him frown a bit as he glanced at her from the stone. "Meet me in the center of Yharnam- we will do a route again and get you more blood echos." he said simply, as she stammered her backwards response. When they arrived he took a second to compose himself before he thought of how to even answer the woman. His posture was less hostile and he was a bit calmer being away from the bastard. "Gehrman knew my father- his name was Lawrence- I am named after my father, Antony is my middle name- I prefer it. Anyhow he was a man of the healing church- that is all I know about him, besides he disappeared on day and said he was going on to do great works and he never returned home." He explained about his father first since it was probably an obstacle to her not knowing who he was exactly. "Our mother Emilia left home soon after to look for him, she never returned, so my sister and I decided that we wouldn't ever venture off here- to look for them..." He said sounding a bit humored since he had been here many times now and wasn't too pleased about such. In all truth he hadn't once come to find his parents so he was content int hat kept promise but now if finding his parents meant knowing something to perhaps save her- then he might go searching for them. "Don't get me wrong Rosalind- I don't give a damn what happened to them here- it was their own fault for leaving us in the waking world- I did not come for them. I came to find out something for myself. Weather you get dragged along for the ride is for you to decide- like I said there is no such thing as selfless or selfish here, be it greed or necessity- Nothing is of matter- nothing can be done to save this horrible mess..." He said letting her know exactly what he had on his mind with out straight out telling her his point of view on that bogus cure she was searching for.

Rosalind felt that she might have done something really bad when he suddenly told her off and left. Her eyes narrowed and briefly she was annoyed. He was awfully blunt and she wasn't sure she liked his attitude towards her. She did tell him he didn't have to answer. Didn't his mother ever teach him the saying "if you don't have anything nice to say don't say it at all...". She followed after him a bit reluctantly, wondering if she would be subjected to his foul mood for the rest of their trip. Instead she was bombarded with information that she wasn't expecting him to give her. She blinked at the news of his family, especially that he and his sister lost their parents to this place. How awful...She never had a family outside of Felix and was sort of glad for it. She was already in pain just thinking of losing him, she couldn't imagine having to worry over losing more loved ones. His last statement made her frown, her attention going to the pavement to escape his stare. He was angry with this place and for a good reason it seemed. The last bit about this place and its moral compass however made her feel uneasy. She knew things were wrong here, but wrong enough to actually damn this place... She cleared her throat, looking back up at Antony with a bit of empathy. "That's awfully cynical, probably for a good reason...A friend of mine and you would get along." She said, her eyes briefly sad before she nodded to herself as if resolving something. "Well we both know I won't survive around here by myself. I might just tag along, as long as I don't slow you down any further than I already have." She looked around her, biting her lower lip in thought. "I really do appreciate you helping me with this. I know it would be better for you to be working towards your goal and not being stuck teaching the newbie how not to get brutalized, but you have done quite a bit so far. Hm, maybe you are a nice guy." She shrugged, her smile almost teasing before she looked to the roads they hadn't taken yet. This city was huge and they still had so much to see. Besides, he needed to find this queen. Perhaps they could do that while she got a bit better at fighting. "You know we could look around for that queen. I mean it can't be hard to find some royal hiding out here right?" She asked, not sure how this world worked as far as its monarchy went.

her comment that him and a friend of hers would get along made him smirk, shaking his head. "You would eventually learn to survive. I managed after all. As for a nice guy I am not too sure- not even really with my self." He said the last part in a mutter as he turned and went towards the road that they had taken before working on getting more echos. Her question about finding royalty on the road made him laugh," Your kidding. I know of no Queen here- I think the doll is giving me a goal with no ends to a means but to set my troubled mind a ease. She is caring and only wishes to help but she can only do so much." he said with a smile speaking of the doll in a manner that she was a person thought he knew fully well she wasn't. "We must however get you strong enough to fight on the bridge...If you can't pass the bridge it is hopeless to expect you to find a cure." He told her straight since he ahd found no cure here- it was further on and she would have to face the first hunter of the church to even get close to finding one.

Rosalind wasn't sure she believed him when he said that she would survive. She had already shown that dying was not beyond her and that it would be perhaps a repeat occurrence. But she would trust Antony to get her to some semblance of survival. If that meant safety for her for the moment, she would take it. She tilted her head at the question of her kidding about this queen, mostly because she didn't get any joke out of it. How was she supposed to know the doll was toying with him? She looked to the bridge as he spoke, knowing just in her head that she couldn't take on those wolves. They were beasts much larger than herself that would tear her apart if she got near them. Antony knew that and so did she. But that cure wasn't going to wait for her...Felix wouldn't wait long... The thought scared her enough that she felt sick and a new wave of determination welling in her chest. "Okay then wherever we are going. Let's get there soon...I'm not even sure how long I've been here...if time even works the same." She said before getting to her feet and motioning to the open area. "I guess this means more run though and kill things?" She asked, a smile now on her face that wasn't nearly as tired as she felt.

Antony smiled at her with a nod," Exactly, see your catching on quickly." They went thought the area a few more times, working hard to kill everything, Antony offering support and killing the birds ahead of her giving her a relief with that in mind as they went on to explore a bit farther to get her more blood echos. It wasn't long before they both had full blood vials and were stocked on things that were needed however Antony noticed he himself has accumulated a good amount to perhaps get an upgrade- if he was lucky. Having been there before he needed many more blood echos to exchange for upgrades then say Rosalind did. It wasn't long before they headed back to the hunters dear there again by the bridge, he stopped by the doll, to get an upgrade finding he could- only it was going to cost him over 5 thousand blood echos, surely he had the amount but he was skeptical. Figuring he had nothing else to spend them on he got it finding it gave his health a minor bust- feeling a bit more refreshed- less in painful pieces per say. He turned to look at Rosalind after a few moments by the doll and spoke. "When you are done spending blood echos, come inside, I will teach you how to upgrade your weapon. It can do more damage and kill faster then." he said explaining things to her as he headed inside to grab a few runes off the desk as well as a few stones that were used to upgrade the power of a special weapon she might find that interesting.

Rosalind took to the fighting this time with more enthusiasm, being sure to correct what she could of her stupid mistakes. Even if she was a bit clumsy and uncoordinated, she ended up taking out quite a few creatures this round without much more than a knick here or there. She was thankful that Antony helped her with the birds, since she wasn't even sure what to do with them. They latched on to you and cawed so loudly. It honestly freaked her out quite badly. She knew she would have to get over it soon but she couldn't even envision that right now. Soon they had killed enough, or so Antony let her know by moving away and saying they would head back to the hunter's dream. She nodded, ready to sit down somewhere since her legs and arms ached from over use. She follows him to the dream, finding that he meant for them to speak with the creepy doll. She sat and waited for him to finish, watching him converse with the odd thing before he told her to meet him in the church. The doll looked to be sleeping now, her head lulled as breaths actually seemed to move its body. Rosalind approached her, her hand reaching out to tap the doll awake. The doll suddenly sat up as if startled, forcing Rosalind to back pedal a little in surprise. "Ah I must have dosed off...Welcome home, good hunter." She said, her wide unblinking eyes staring at what seemed to be Rosalind's soul. It creeped her out a little, enough so that she couldn't manage a smile or get much closer. "Ah thank you. So these blood echo things..." She said and the doll's head tilted, her pretty expression unmoving. "Is that what you desire?" Rosalind nodded and suddenly in her minds eye she could see a list of upgrades for herself. She looked at the extensive list and found some that were appealing. Her health namely and especially on that seemed to upgrade her defense again. When she pulled away, the doll bowed a bit her voice sounding like a sweet whisper. "Farewell good hunter. May you find your worth in the waking world..." Rosalind wasn't sure how to take those words, so she ran along to catch up with Antony. She found him in the cathedral that was cluttered with things and surprisingly no people. It was odd to find an empty church, especially in the real world. "So how exactly is that doll, you know, moving? I could have sworn it was breathing..." She said as she approached him and peeked around him to see what he was doing. "So this was what you were talking about? The weapons upgrade thingy?" She asked, genuinely curious since she felt she had alot more difficulty killing things than he did, not just because of their obvious skill gap.

He glanced over at her with a slightly humored smile when she asked about the doll. "She is a puppet. Controlled by something higher then us here. She is trapped in this hell as much as we are honestly." he said before nodding towards the bench and handing her the extra things for her to figure out since he wouldn't be there forever to upgrade her things. "Here use these to upgrade your weapon. I'm sure it could use it." He said as he moved over and let her have the bench to experiment with what she wanted to make. He went and stored a few things for later of course knowing they were going to need them later instead of training however he was sure she could take on the dogs perhaps- maybe not Ludwig but thats why he was there- to make up for her weaknesses. "After this break did you want to face the bridge? I'm confident we can take the dogs, I can get their health low and you can them perhaps?" He said as a suggestion to her about what to do next since he was getting a little tired of the grinding.

Rosalind looked at the parts in her hand and blinked at them before looking at the table. As he spoke on the doll, giving her only vague information, she tipped the cane over a few times, trying to see where to put the gems that looked as red as blood. She tried smacking them against the cane to maybe break them or cramming them into it. But nothing seemed to work. Finally she tried resting it against the weapon and suddenly it absorbed like it became a part of the weapon. She gave a triumphant little cheer before taking out her gun and doing the same thing. She looked quite proud of herself to the point she looked more like a child showing off. She tucked the weapons away, her eyes making contact with his as she tilted her head.So he wanted to take on the dogs at the bridge and let her help finish them off. She bit her lip and nodded, knowing that she had to show him that she could handle herself too. "Alright. I will take those mutts on. They look a bit too cocky." She said with a smile though it was clear she wasn't exactly looking forward to take those beasts on. "Any pointers though before we take them on? I haven't tangled with those yet." She asked since he knew more about the things here than she did.

He thought her childishness was cute, thought it would get her killed quickly. Best she keep that in the hunters dream then in the waking world. her mention of advice made him smirk, shaking his head a bit to move his hair more or less from his face. "Those mutts are werewolfs essentially, they are weak to fire so I recommend you use some of these." He said letting his words trail off as he held up a cocktail- that had a rag in its top- just begging to be lighted and thrown. "These will diminish their health, Though you will think little of them when you meet Ludwig. He is important to the church so we much slip by him to reach the court yard. I haven't been there before so this should be a good place to look for your pale blood." He said making it seem challenging but adding that there was an ends to a mean past it.

Rosalind looked briefly surprised by the cocktail, especially since she had seen them before. Hell she had used them once in her rebellious stages to get back at business's that crossed the dealers. She was interested to hear that fire was their weakness and was very ready to target that weakness. Anything to knock them down a peg before they could rip her in two. She however tensed when he suddenly mentioned this Ludwig that they would have to get past and possibly look into her cure. She looked momentarily excited, her eyes widening despite the thought that this could be very dangerous...She was closer to the cure, that was a very important milestone for her. "Ludwig...He sounds odd but I think we can manage. We have to." She said with a bit of resolve before looking to the door. After all, she thought Ludwig was a man, some person from that church he seemed to really despise. "So fire for the hounds and slipping past Ludwig for the courtyard...Got it." She said to herself, almost like it was a mantra to keep her nerves straight.

He smirked at her comment about how Ludwig was strange- probably his name to her anyhow. "Well, I happen to have Ludwigs' sword. This large monstrosity, used to belong to him, long ago- I found it-though not on the bridge." He said to let her know that Ludwig wasn't something to play around with- hell she probably thought Ludwig was a man still. "Indeed, I will let your take some of mine then we will head up- I will engage both so you can get them from a distance. I will however let you finish them off- so you can get more echos- you need them much more then myself right now." He said letting her know as he handed her a good belt's full of cocktails for use then getting some from himself however his were odd- having ropes on them. He used them on the go- not before he was heading into a situation. They headed back out into the waking world and approached the bridge, he was smiling however liking how quiet it was out. They could hear the dogs breathing as they paced the bridge, waiting for something honestly they probably knew not what.

Rosalind moved a bit closer to Antony when he said that he had Ludwig's sword, mostly because he wanted to get a better look at it. She had seen the blade in action and realized it was an impressive thing to have. But, how did he obtain it? No doubt he fought this man and won it? She wasn't sure why the man would still hang around after losing his weapon, but Rosalind just accepted it and moved on. "Found huh...well it's impressive for a blade. Looks heavy." She said before checking out his body momentarily to see just how he was hauling it around. He did look fit under all that garb and she was sure that came with how much stronger you needed to be here against these monsters. She accepted the cocktails, her eyes narrowing at one as she bounced it in her hands to see the contents. They smelled foul, like very aged mead. She coughed a bit, nodding at news that she would be finishing the beasts off to reap the rewards. It felt like cheating but how could she compare. "Okay...just don't forget that soon I'll be strong enough to take them on my own." She said, making a tough pride face before laughing a bit. She knew this wasn't the time for joking around or idle talk but she was starting to think that they needed a little more fun and a bit less ruined. When they landed back on the bridge, she gave Antony a look before she peaked around to see that the werewolves were still prowling. She took out her gun and loaded it. "Alright...just let me know. I'll try getting them with the silverr bullets." She said, beginning to put together what she needed to take these beasts on.

He watched as she went for her gun first and smirked. He had already told her that their weakness was fire but she was still relying on her gun to much when she had much more accessible. "Rosalind, check your gun, then remember their weakness is fire. I will draw them both- then take one from the fight to give you time to finish the other one. If you are having issues finishing it off- let me know I will come lend a hand." He said as he got out a cocktail with a rope attached to his with a smile. He moved about the carriage and swung it above his head like a lasso before letting it go in an arched motion and it smashed in the middle of both the giant dogs- catching their fur in places on fire. Both came after him in a barreled charge, he however turned and ran- simply dropping another bottle behind him to aggro them both again and sprinted down the bridge again- making sure to run them threw the fire a time or two. One of the two was obviously hot on his feet however making him jump out of the way in time however before teeth were suddenly where his leg had been a second ago. He pulled his sword, first stage and swung it at the dog, getting it to yelp but it was relentlessly hounding his legs-like it were finger food. narrowing his eyes he cut off its leg in two swipes, its muscles a bit too swiny to be cut in one go and moved out of the way as it dragged itself after him when he moved back towards Rosalind- making it follow him, she needed to kill it to get the Echos. he did glance over his shoulder however to see Rosalind had done well with the other one she was finishing up with, it almost made him proud he just hoped she was ready for the actual challenge.

Rosalind noticed his comment and decided it was best to follow what he was saying. Sure they hated fire, but what was she supposed to do when the beasts got too close? She breathed out and let him go ahead, watching from the shadows as he took on the beasts. She watched the way he lured them, playing deadly game of follow the leader till a beast was harmed enough to kill. She moved in being quick to draw the cocktail when the limping and profusely bleeding beast took notice of her. It slunk around like a wolf hunting a doe before it attempted to lash out at her with it's massive from claws. She kicked out of the way but was only met with snapping jaws when she accidentally stumbled a bit too close. Thinking quickly she lit the bottle and smashed it on its head, flipping away as the thing shrieked and writhed with a face full of fire. Soon the yelping subsided and the creature went limp, cursing her nose with the smell of its burned flesh. She gagged, her eyes squinting past the putrid smoke as Antony lead the other one over, this time one with it's legs missing. The display was sad and gross, but she knew it had to be done. She went forward with her gun and took a shot at its head and then another. After about 5 rounds in its head, the werewolf went still in a pool of its blood. She watched it melt away into the sticky mess of blood, leaving behind the blood echoes for her to collect. She swallowed hard, bringing her hand to her nose to try and block out the smell. "Fire may be effective but damn do they stink." She said, swallowing a gulp of air to keep herself from getting sick. Now that the bridge was clear, she knew where they had to go next. This Ludwig would be waiting on them before they could enter the courtyard. Meaning they would have to kill it or run like hell. She wasn't sure which option they would choose, especially since Ludwig didn't exactly have a shape in her mind. For all she knew he was human.

he nodded knowing indeed the did smell something horrible. "Indeed, I hate the things but only in Yharnam." He said since he wasn't a huge dog fan to begin with. His eyes moved however to the bridge further up where the arches hung over to shadow the area where the next trial would await. He sighed and looked around wondering if they really needed to go to the blasted church but he hadn't been there yet- after Ludwig had massacred him a few dozen times he gave up and went else where- now was his chance to get through- to the church to find out more about-- his thoughts paused as he about though of his mother and father, he wasn't there for them- he refused, he was there for his sister. They made their own lives away from their own children- its on them now. "You will need to restock on everything, come along you need more bullets- and perhaps more fire..." hes aid with a sigh as they headed back to the hunters dream once more. He was being cautious since Dying was a hard thing to come back from. They headed out soon, getting back tot he bridge- he however took care of both dogs- in a minute both were dead with no fire. He didn't want Rosalind to have to waste more while there before Ludwig. He approached the arches and peered threw to see the depressing stones that looked to be begging to help with candles in their hands. "Be prepared Rosalind. this will not be easy..." he said wanting her to know this was going to take a bit- if not a few tries.
