Antony righted himself a bit shaken as he tried to understand why they would do that but didn't have an answer. "No idea, the idiots probably died rigging it up." He commented as he drew his sword and went to dispose of the extras' with Rosalind. They were easy to handle and he even got himself some more blood vials making him smile. Tossing them up in the air he caught then the tucked them away in his pack and looked ahead wondering what was next and if there were more traps. They moved carefully along the bridge but found nothing else to worry about.Looking off a bit ahead of them he saw the church about a block from their current location making him sigh. "Why do they like their corners... In the real world- this place isn't here- its a corner store with a late night bar next to it...That doesn't exist-its a park..." He commented as he glanced over the area knowing this areas since he often frequented the bar after praying all day for his sister.

Rosalind huffed, realizing that his guess was as good as hers in this place. He had said he hadn't been to this area yet. She wondered a moment just what kind of church this was that they would rig something like that for people getting ready to cross it. She got to her feet, her eyes going ahead to the monsters. They dealt with them quickly enough, much to her glee since she figured she was getting better at this. However, she had little time to celebrate since it seemed that they would have to continue across this bridge expecting traps. She kept her eyes and ears peeled for sounds of anything dangerous as they made their way across, not wanting to take any chances and be caught off guard again. She was distracted from her searching when Antony spoke up about how this Yharnam was different from the one he came from. She looked at the mass of buildings and tried to imagine something else in their place. The bar and a park...the park would be lovely"You'd think the people around here would have a lot to drink over." She commented since this place was hell that someone should want to drink to forget...Her nose wrinkled at the smell. She could smell earth and dead things, not unlike most of this city, but the earth smell was new. No doubt a graveyard. She worked around one once as a child and hated every second of it. They had the hired work clean the grave stones of the wealthy at night to make sure they were properly polished. She found the whole ordeal creepy, but it kept her and Felix fed for a week.

At her drinking comment he nodded. He guessed she didn't assume what she had been throwing around lately. Pulling out a throwing bottle he swished it to get her attention. "This is there Alcohol- I should say our. It is similar in the real world however it smells much better- served warm even. Its more potent then alcohol and has lasting effects for some so its preferred since this is a place of 'healing blood' after all. Weird ass people of Yharnam." He said including himself in this since he had drank it before and it wasn't half bad. Replacing the bottle on his belt he went a bit forward more only to smell something he hadn't smelled in a good while, not over the blood anyhow- dirt. He noticed Rosalind's displeased look and figured she knew what that was, anything to do with both dirt and churches was also including of the dead. He went a bit further to see a fence where there were indeed grave markers and such however some one they had already seen was there, Father Gascgione, and he was cutting wood it seemed. He didn't enter the yard however, not sure why the father would leave them there yet from the past redirect him away from himself when he ahd gone out of his way to help him before. "I'm not sure we should disturb the father, we should go around- along the edge if possible to the church." He commented quietly to her wondering if she agreed if not, he would let her do as she wanted, he was going to be respectful.

Rosalind looked at the bottle he held and realized she had had a blonde moment. She wondered a moment what this stuff tasted like if it burned so long and hot, but felt that was exploration for later. She turned a bit pink, holding her head up higher to compensate for the statement. "W-Well I meant the lack of a bar...You know bars are a good place to go and drink about your problems. And this place has quite a few." She tried to cover up her her lapse in thought before heading on to walk with him. She was quiet as they moved along, mostly because she was listening for any sign of danger. Instead they found a graveyard where the father was working away at wood. She blinked, wondering why the man would be out here dealing with wood as if he hadn't just taken on a monster moments ago. How was he not tired swinging that massive axe? She nodded at Antony's decision to leave him alone, since she hardly wanted to cheese off a man with an axe that knew how to use it. "Yeah. Let the old guy chop wood. He seems into it." She crept into the open space, moving along the wall, near a few grave stones that looked as old as the city did.

Antony gave her a nod that was appreciative of her thoughts. It was an of thing to see, a simple man out and about doing an every day thing in this hell but every one needed something. They moved around tot he front of the church seeing a side passage making him pause, holding out a hand to look in and saw some one moving about still. He moved forward and looked inside to see if it were a mutt of a man and to his surprise to was a man. he was in the robes of the Healing church but black - so he was a hunter as well in a way. "Hello?" he said glancing back to make sure Rosalind was fine. The man turned back to look at them, standing from his crouch from in front of the statue before him. The man had mutton chops and shaggy hair of sandy blonde. "Your're a beast hunter aren't you? I knew it. That's precisely how I started out. Oh, beg pardon, you can call me Alfred. protege of Master Logarius, hunter of Vilebloods. So what say you, Our prey might differ, but are hunters, the three of us. Why not Cooperate, and discuss the things we've learned?" The man went on the say, making him a man of many words to Antony but he did seem some what worthy if Father Gascoigne hadn't run him off yet. "You may call me Antony- and this is-" He was going to say however it seemed Alfred had more to say, speaking over him with a look that was inquisitive if not mischievous. "Antony, such as Lawrence Antony?" he asked in a way like he knew something he shouldn't. "And if it is?" He said in a counter question wanting to know what this man was going on about."How about we cooperate and I might tell you?" he said only making Antony nod curtly to the man to show he was impatient with information. "Oh-hoh! Very good, very good indeed. For that I should tell you that I knew your father, brought your mother to mass a few times, it was splendid. But here take this to celebrate our acquaintance." The mans' hand slipped into his pack and he handed a few papers to Rosalind with a flirty smile," Fire paper, brush it on your weapon to light it on fire for a time, it comes in handy when its truly dark out." hes said with a smile for the pretty lady. "Beast hunting is a Sacred duty, may the good blood guide you both." he said before turning back to the statue and started praying again, like he had been alone this long while. Antony looked annoyed but left up the steps a bit, having suddenly wanted nothign to do with the man since he was acquainted with his father.

Rosalind was like a duckling trailing after Antony, letting him call most of the routes and choices since she had no real idea where she was going. That and he had the heavier weapon...When he paused near the church and saw movement, she peeked around to see what he was focused on. She could pick up a shape that looked human in front of a statue. She had visions of the diseased in her head. She tilted her head and gave the figure a narrow eyed look of concentration, considering a moment if she could get him with a bullet aimed from a close enough distance. But her thinking was dispelled when Antony called out to the man, as if testing to see if it was friend or foe. She was thoroughly surprised to see it was a man and not a monster, one that looked to be normal. He wasn't bad looking for someone that called himself a hunter and he looked to be dressed much finer than her and Antony. She stood by Antony as the man spoke, her eyes on him critically and not bothering to speak since she was unsure if the man was worth talking to. She tended to only really talk to or trust people that had reason for her to interact or need them. This Alfred just seemed to talk a lot. When he asked to cooperate she raised a brow, wondering just what he would want to cooperate for. People didn't ask strangers for help or expect anything of them in return. It just didn't make sense to her. Then again she trusted Antony, but she viewed him as a special case...She blinked back into the conversation when the man interrupted Antony to say he knew someone by the name of Lawrence Antony, that mischievous curiousity in her look making her curious herself. Wasn't that Antony's father? When the man clarified after Antony agreed to help him, her attention went to Antony, trying to gauge his reaction to this information. This man seemed to know his mother and father, perhaps had information on where they disappeared to...She wanted to talk with Antony about it, but he seemed almost annoyed. Perhaps it would wait till later...She was about to turn and ignore the men talking for something more interesting, when suddenly Alfred offered her papers. She noticed the smile held a hint of flirtation, and Rosalind smiled a little since she felt it was polite when receiving a gift. "Fire paper?" She muttered as she looked it over and her smile grew at the explenation. She liked the sound of having fire weapons. It sounded wicked, especially in a place where fire was very effective. She gave a bow of her head at Alfred's odd goodbye, but was forced to hurry to catch up with Antony as he hurried off. "Well that was interesting. Does this paper stuff actually work or was he joking?" She asked with a wrinkle of her nose. "Perhaps we might run into this Logarius. He might have the information your looking for. He must know something if they are held up in this church." She said, since it was usually the important people that stayed safe in times of crisis.

He didn't really feel like speaking at the moment, his chest feeling tight. He took a moment to lean against the wall, hand on his chest as he did his best to breath, not looking at Rosalind. His mind was working on changing his thoughts since they were all on his parents and if they were still alive- still here- looking for a cure for their children. It had been a long long time and he was a grown man now, taking care of his sister who had had doomed- never finding them the first time, he had given up on them but it still hurt- it would always hurt...He sucked in a breath as it hurt, the tightness there, he forced it down after a second- not wanting for Rosalind to see him like this. He was supposed to be the strong person here- her shield more or less- helping her threw this mess, but at the mere mention of his parents and false expired hopes and he caved? No, he didn't want her to see this mess, he needed to press on and ignore this emotional mess- he needed to cure his sister not have his own break down. Straightening he brushed his hair back and took a deep breath, ignoring the look he was probably getting from Rosalind. "If we run into this Logarius then he will have answers perhaps not ones I want but perhaps he can show us this Queen." he said in a slightly irritated tone but it was honestly him covering up his hurt. He moved on, pushing forward- actually going out of his way to slaughter things, taking his aggression out on them. They were much closer to the now and he didn't want to deal with it quite yet, so once they found a lamp- not far from the church itself he told Rosalind to meet him in the Hunter's dream. She had to cash in her Blood echoes as it was from killing Ludwig so she could obviously upgrade some things. Once there he went into the church, looking for none other then Gehrman who was frowning at him. "We ran into Alfred." He stated getting a blank look from the man before him. When he got no response he slammed him hand down hard on the alterations table for weapons and got a look from him. "What about it? Did he kill you? Take off with your prey?" he said making it sound childish. Antony frowned. "The Cleric Beast- Ludwig, we have killed it. Father Gascoigne helped however we encountered him and I'm distinctly unhappy with the fact that he apparently knows my parents." Gehrman snorted a moment at what this came down to. "You are still the child you came her as before. Come now, let me send you home- You don't belong here Lawerence." he said drawing his scythe, it looking odd with his height. Antony frowned at him when he actually drew his weapon, his own hand on his own weapon. "You know something, where are they?" he asked wanting to know exactly what he knew- but he knew Gehrman was a pain to deal with as usual. "Where they have always been boy! Go find them if you want your damned mother and father that bad. I want nothing to do with this mess!" He shouted back at Antony making him scowl, that was easily heard from the outside and he wasn't sure if Rosalind heard or not. "Your not being fair-" he started to say, his tone sounding hurt since it was a hard thing to take hearing however Gehrman interrupted him with a louder voice. "Life isn't fair! Nothing here will ever be fair! Its a prison that you have put yourself in! Figure out your own mess- no one can help you now!" he said before he wheeled himself out of the church- threw a side area into a more field like place- looking over the wall there ignoring Antony if he wanted to speak more- he was obviously done speaking. Antony was quiet, letting Gehrman leave, knowing he himself had crossed the line with the man and knew he was in fact correct. This was his own mess and he needed to figure it out himself- he just hoped he could handle this...

Rosalind paused when Antony leaned against the wall, suddenly looking almost too tense and on edge for her comfort. She wanted to say something, to check on him, but something in her gut told her that he wasn't looking for her to step in. She didn't like the fact that he seemed unstable, like he was having trouble breathing or something. She wondered what it was over or why he would be reacting oddly...she figured it was something Alfred did or said. It had to be since he seemed off only after speaking to him. She gave him his space, concern etched on her face even as she tried to fiddle with her cane or something to look busy and not be staring. In a rather quick fashion, he was on his feet again though his tone was irritable, hinting that all was not well still. She frowned a bit as he went ahead, having to force her mouth to stay shut before she brought up something bad. The pair had a good thing going so far and she hardly wanted to screw things up by sticking her nose in something he obviously didn't want her to. He would have said something if he wanted to talk, right? Honestly, Rosalind wasn't good with the whole social boundaries thing. She got basic courtesy and stuff, but the people she dealt with, like Felix, were so brutally honest and upfront with one another that it was hard when she was faced with situations where she had to gauge what was proper to talk about or not. She opted for the quiet route, though she worried ever so slightly that it was the wrong move to make. The last thing she wanted was to leave Antony hurting... She followed him and let him cut his way through the creatures, herself only attacking the ones that strayed or what he didn't get. She winced when he quite literally cleaved one in half from his aggressive fighting, since the sight was rather gory and showed that he was obviously not fine at the moment. When finally they reached a lantern, she was almost relieved. Maybe distracting himself with things in the Hunter's Dream would make him feel better? When he left she followed after but he left to the church, leaving her to talk with the doll. Her upgrades were simple, mostly revolving around buffing her skill/vitality and finally spent some on her endurance. She was happy with her upgrades, since they made her feel a certain rush of energy. She felt like she could take on a hoard again, even if she dreaded the idea. She walked over to the church to get a look at what Antony was up to, but the shouting made her slam to a halt at the doors. Gehrman's voice was angry and hinted that this conversation had escalated from something...Finding his parents? She blinked, remembering Alfred had mentioned his father and mother earlier. Was that the truth then that Antony was seeking? Where his parents were in this hellish place? She tensed when she could somewhat hear Antony, but not enough to decipher what he said. However, Gehrman's brutal answer echoed like the first, making her stomach clench. She wasn't sure how to feel about what the man was spouting...This place being a prison that someone chose, that there was no help. She was there. She would help Antony if his parents were what he was looking for...she wouldn't mind that...not after he helped her. Felix would understand that...in fact he would probably smack her if she didn't help, calling her rude. She heard the man wheel away and waited a few moments before she went in. She tried to appear nonchalant like she hadn't heard a thing, but it was obvious by the way she looked like she was walking on eggshells that she had. Whether or not she knew what it was about, she would leave that to his own guessing. "I heard shouting...Is everything alright?" She asked him, knowing it sure as hell wasn't peachy and that was a dumb question, but she wanted to check on him. How else was she supposed to ask without prying?

The silence was a bit heavy before he heard Rosalind come in, knowing the Doll wouldn't be in the workshop rightly. Her tone sounding careful he knew he had slipped up showing soem weakness earlier and she was being careful around him now. It was hard to think that he had to watch what he did now- not used to having others around him. Not looking at her he nodded. "Things are fine. Just another disagreement- It means nothing." he said with a movement. his hand went to his face to brush the hair from it now that he had composed himself properly. Antony turned his attention to her then, looking to distract himself as he gave her a light look. "Have you gotten yourself a new gun lately? that old one might be a little ineffective with stronger enemies up ahead." He said as he looked over her gear. He went out side motioning her to follow him so he could show her the pool there off to the right where she could buy more items with her blood echos. "Here, you should get new things- it might help you out." he said with a smile planing ahead for more then her. If he didn't make it- she would have to.

Rosalind highly doubted that this argument meant nothing, especially since the air felt like lead and parents were never a simple matter. She may have not had any but she knew they were trouble. She had to deal with hearing about them enough to know It was complicated. And his issues with them seemed complicated enough. He already said they had been gone from him and his older sister...maybe it had something to do with them here? She shook her head, not wanting to open that bag of snakes now or ever. It would end badly for her. She watched him brush his hair from his face, the rather handsome face that was showing signs of paleness no doubt from strain. She knew he needed some kind of help with whatever this was, but she wasn't exactly in the right place to give it. She only knew that he liked her well enough. The light look and question about her weapons made her frown and look down at the things. No she hadn't messed with them since she didn't know there was much out there better. She nodded and followed him, keeping close since she didn't trust anywhere in this Yharnam to not have something dangerous. The frickin church was rigged in old Yharnam with flying death balls after all. She looked at the pool he brought her to and gave it a funny look. "You get guns out of water?" She asked before giving it a shot. She blinked when in her minds eye she could see her options there. "Oh...would you look at all this. What does that do? Does that say fire?" She asked before looking to Antony with a bit of a confused look. "What to buy? I mean it all looks good." She said, though she noticed there was a pistol there that seemed to be a step above hers. She was good with guns, having been taught to shoot at an early age. That didn't mean she knew the first thing about types of guns however.

He walked her through what gun she should be getting and even a few other items that would even be of use to her. He was primarily distracting himself and it was working, for that he was grateful. It took a while to get things situated properly but afterwards they headed out again, feeling more ready to see what was inside this church or who even. They came about near the church and he frowned even hearing the bells ringing lightly at the hour though it was always the same time here- night. "We should go inside...Maybe we can find Logarius or some one who can point us in the right direction." He said being a bit evasive on things. He didn't even really look at her properly as he avoided her look, knowing hew as busying himself since the argument in the church with Gehrman.

Rosalind was happy for the help but knew something was off just by the way he looked. She had been around him enough time to see that usually he was very put together. At this moment he looked to be showing his distress and that something was bothering him. It was slight, but there was a certain intensity to him that wasn't there before. She listened carefully to what he told her and finally got the gun she needed despite her mind being in other places. She knew he wouldn't need her worry but Rosalind was willing to help those she trusted. She would lay her life in the line for Felix. The least she could do was be an ear for Antony if he needed one. But she wouldn't pry...it wasn't her place to. She followed him into Yharnam, looking her new gun over with a certain fondness. She would enjoy getting to use it, especially on the creatures there. When he said they needed to go and see to the church, she noticed he wasn't looking at her. It bothered her, to the point she moved ahead to keep from getting snappish. "Alright. I'm following your lead. I really hope there isn't another massive creature behind those doors." She said, being honest with him since they alright fought one huge sucker and she didn't want another. However, maybe killing something was just what he needed to get out of this funk. If not she would at least have to talk to him, if not just to tell him she was willing to listen to him if he needed someone to talk to.

As she stepped around him, he nodded letting her keep moving. Knowing she was avoiding the awkwardness that was in the air. He didn't think it was fair to put up with his particular mood but there was little to be done about it. Antony followed along by her, as they approached the massive doors half expecting them to be lock. Giving the massive door a shove it slowly opened revealing a very dark area much further in however there looked to be candles. He wasn't for sure but he had a feeling that this place wasn't a place of reverence- it felt a bit darker then that. He couldn't exactly place it but there was a bit of a depressing feeling here, more hollow then a church should have been. They walked in a few steps and heard nothing really, just hollow sounds, birds in the rafters, and silence. The smell of incense and a stale air smell graced them as they looked around wondering exactly what they were walking into.

Rosalind felt Antony was behind her and that made her feel safer walking into this new place. Antony had the abilities of a hunter that impressed her and made her feel like she could rely on him in a fight. She trusted him, even with knowing so little, something that she never did. It took poor Felix a year to earn her trust and even then she only used it to protect the hell out of him. She loved him, so it was to be expected. Thoughts of Felix made a bitter taste return to her mouth, one that made her throat feel sore when she tried to swallow it away. Besides, she almost felt wrong thinking of Felix when Antony was next to her. The man seemed to be struggling in her near vicinity and she had done nothing to help. Perhaps when they had down time she could at least give him a pat on the shoulder, something to show she cared at least. It was dark and she could barely see much past the insence...just a light there at the top of the staircase that lowed like fire light. She wanted to be there and away from the darkness, but the lack of vantage point scared her slightly. It was too quiet here...SHouldn't churches be lively? A lace of hope and safety? This place felt more like a tomb than a sanctuary..."It looks abandoned." She said as her step on one of the stairs kicked up dust. She looked to Antony and gave a small frown of worry. "Like too quiet, ya know?" She shook her head and moved up a few more stairs at a time till she finally reached the top. She looked around, her face falliing in shock at how pretty the chaple looked all lit up in cnadles and stain glass. The bloody moonlight pouring in did wonders on the architecture, to the point it almost was lovely. Almost...She paused when movement caught her eye, the sigh of fabric catching some other worldly wind. She narrowed her eyes at the thing, at first thinking it a lump of fabric in white but that seemed to odd for this abandoned place. She took a few step forward, her curiousity getting the better of her. "Hello?" She said, though her voice was softer than a call, just in case this was an infected monster just resting. She learned that one from Antony...

As Rosalind looked around and made a few comments about the place being too quiet, he nodded in agreement. She reached the top of the stairs before he had, but she wasn't screaming so he took it as a good sign. He followed her up more slowly, ignoring the dust and smoke, focusing on the dark behind the pillars just past the stairs looking for something dangerous. He glanced over at Rosalind when she rather oddly called out to some one- though it was cautionary and soft.
It was too painful. The pain-Such blinding and intense pain there in her chest. Clamping down on her, crushing her from the inside...Long ago it seemed now she had lost the man she loved- her whole family in one go... Long ago she had meet a man of learning, science and God. It was love at first sight-nothing could separate them. They has a small ceremony, no family to speak of for either, so it was simple and happy. They struggled however to start a family, she remembered how upset her Lawrence was over that. Always wanting a son, someone to carry on their family name, so they could be happy together- a happy perfect family. Doctor after doctor, all saying the same thing- she wasn't able to bear him children- they rejected that news completely. Neither would accept such news so he went on to find an alternative solution. They came to a town called Yharnam- rumor had it that there was a cure that could fix any problem and they were desperate. Lawrence was asleep one night- though when he woke up he seemed to have been away for years to him. It was as if nothing had changed to her and she watched him sleep all night- though he was changed when he woke up, knowing of things none had heard of. He went on and on about soem miracle cure he was crafting-'The Pale Blood'. He told her of a school he had helped creature- with the help of a few others, one where they founded the cure in and he was helping them. He spoke as though he had been gone years however he was only gone one night... Tears continued to slip down her face as she though of her life with her sweet Lawrence. Hands clasped to her chest, the golden locket of her family- her precious family- there between her hands. After many trips to this dream world-she found she was suddenly able to have children, having a baby girl soon after. White blonde hair like herself and pretty blue eyes like her father. they were happy for a shot while but she knew deep down that he really wanted a son. After another while, more trips and more blood in take- she finally ahd a baby boy. Her husband- her Lawrence was happy, truly happy with this change in their life. It was a blessing of his work in life and he felt it needed to been researched further. Soon the Elder ones- great men and women in the city offered him a job for his great works in Yharnam and he gladly accepted it. This brought money to the house hold and supported them quite well. It was a church job apparently, so she was happy he took it but it required time away- short times before he returned- no more then a few days- never a week. It was strange, he left one night, and after a month- he never came back, the church didn't help her and no one else knew. The Elder ones told her to go into the dream- the one he often spoke of and search for him- so she did. She asked many people, even Alfred whom she had become acquainted with briefly, he only directed her to the main church, the place her Lawrence worked. She blocked out what had happened next. It was too painful- after ll they had been through... Eyes down, she couldn't bare to look at the skull on the alter- it was her Lawrence's- he was dead and she killed him. She couldn't ever get him back- her children were lost- her heart was crushed beyond repair. She had been there, wishing to die, but it seemed this world was feeding off her pain and despair, keeping its' food alive. A voice called out to her, making her turn to look over, seeing a woman there-a hunter-some one she didn't know. Hand over her locket, grasping it tightly, keeping it from sight. "Who are you?!" She called out, voice horse and harsh, sounding sickly and upset- shaky at best. It wasn't until some one came up the steps next made a sad smile creep onto her face, making her turn to look at him more properly. Her expression was shaky but upset, a happy kind of upset. "My little boy--My Lawrence..." She called to him, her voice longing but she looked crushed her heart unable to seek happiness any longer. her hand reached out to him, seeing his face pale- her hand dropped-that hurt.
Antony took the last few steps up and looked to where Rosalind was looking, trying to figure out who she was speaking to... The voice he heard was sickly sounding, odd- and out of place but familiar. His hand dropped from his weapon, the woman before him- his face paling. That woman- no matter how sickly she looked, that was his mother. "M-Mother?" he barley said loud enough for her to hear, looking like he might pass out. It was the same moment she also transformed into a large beast, what looked to be deer horns on her great head, eyes glowing and claws looking dangerous. Usually he would be ready to fight however this was his mother. it was harder to comprehend that this breast was his mother not a simple stranger- those he could kill but this was different. The type of different where he was terrified, he feared having to hurt his own sister but he didn't know his mother would draw this reaction from him.
