She felt the air go tense and she didn't like it, Candez didn't in fact sit down but came over to the table and put a hand on his shoulder,"Mikk, I need some advice on a subject at our table...If you would be so kind." He glanced over his shoulder now having already heard the challenge from Vexus, he could only smile now. "Well It seems I am needed else where, It was a pleasure to meet you lovely ladies and charismatic gentlemen, please excuse me." he said with a small bow as he always did for the sake of the ladies and followed Candez back to the table. When they sat down Candez stabbed him in the leg with her fork, under the table. It hurt like hell but he didn't make a sound instead he gave her a nasty look , knocking her hand away from him and pulling the fort out of his leg. "Why did you just go pick a fight with the biggest baddest mother fucker in here? HUH?" She whispered to him in a hushed tone. He looked at her, his face a bit more relaxed now," I did no such thing he had an invite on the table no one accepted it so I took the liberty of obliging. And for your language its not suitable for a lady." At that she couldn't help but crack her hard exterior and start snickering. "A lady? really?" He smiled," Keep thinking I'm joking with you... you'll get it eventually...""Right okay, and I think I might blow your ear drums to night... That sounds like perfect fun." He smiled at her," Oh so you wish to some to bed with me then? Are you a cuddle bug?" He said more as a joke but ti could have been seen as a bad thing. She looked at him mostly disgusted, scooting back which only made him burst out laughing at her. "It was a joke, calm down." He said to her, making her scoot her chair back to the table. She didn't find the joke funny at all though others at the table did.

Terra let out a breath of relief when Mikk's tribute partner called him back over. Vexus didn't take his eyes off Mikk and he eyed his partner with the same level of intensity. Terra didn't like that look at all. From the previous hostility things got quiet. Everyone was still social but it was obvious as time drew on that they would soon all be going their seperate ways for the night. That time seemed to end all to soon for Kai, who could hear the sound of Effie as she traveled up the halls with the other District Representatives. Another bell like chime echoed over the PA's and the Peacekeeper's moved to the door, taking positions to where they could better make sure none of the Tributes took knives or anything with them. Couldn't have them harming one another before The Games... "Tributes please follow your appointed Representative's to your drom area. Please be advised you will constantly be on surveillance in each room. All video is subject to analysis by Game Maker officials. Your scheduals are in effect and posted with your Repressentatives." The automated voice faded out with another chime and the Repressentatives looked expectantly at their tributes. Terra and Vexus were the first to rise. "It was nice to meet you all. I look forward to our time together." She gave a small cursey and Vex giving them a nod before they walked to their rather primped looking Repressentative. Kai gave a sigh as he looked at all the food then at Effie, who was tapping the oversized watch that glittered with diamonds on her wrist. "Looks like we need to head out ourselves. Good night all." He said, getting to his feet before offering Talise a hand up. She took the hand and gave a nod to the others. It was a quiet good bye but still showed that she acknowledged them. They walked to Effie who instantly began ot twitter away at them what was going on. "You'll love your suite children. It's complementary that every District recieves only the best for their time here! To think that they could build such an elaborate place underneath the very Arena. It only goes to show just how amazing our Capitol is." They walked towards those golden elevators and instantly the elevator slid up a few floors then suddenly sideways and then backwards. Talise clung to Kai's hand, her heart pounding as the elevator dinged and the door slid open. It was a modern room of luxury bright colors everywhere ranging from pallets of pink, green, to blues, and bases of greys and blacks. The lights accented the bright colors and gave the room a rather technologically advanced appearance. The main room that they walked into was the biggest from what she could guess, a large tv screen making up one of the walls away from expensive looking computers. Talise stared at the room, her eyes scanning the luxurious setting but finding nothing desirable. It only made her eyes hurt and her brain feel exhausted from all the busy-ness. Kai on the other hand tried to show enthusiasm for Effie, who he knew was really wanting the children to share in her excitement. "It's perfect." Kai said with a bright smile Effie who clapped. "It is isn't it?! But this isn't the best part! I've got a surprise for you two." She walked ahead of the two and they followed her to the back of the penthouse. There were the seperate bedrooms and baths from what Talise could sense. "Okay kids, ready to be amazed with your District's room?" She giggled and Talise gave an unsure look to the door Effie was getting ready to open. Kai gave her hand a squeeze, calming her as the door swung open. (But imagine the tank spaning the entire room) Talise froze, her eyes widdening to the size of moons. It was gorgeous, the most breathtaking room she'd ever seen. She walked forward, unconciously dragging Kai with her. He didn't mind since he was in a state of shcok as well. Effie gave a laugh. "I knew you'd love it." Even Effie's bubbly voice couldn't dismiss Talise's smile now. She walked to the glass, her free hand that didn't have hold of Kai's, touching the glass lightly. "This is amazing! How did the Capitol do something like this?" Kai said excitedly and Effie grinned. "No expense was spared for the Tributes to feel at home. District 4 is known for its oceans so why not give you a peice of that here? Besides the fish aren't even real so maintence is cheap. They're bio-creatures, that simply exist without needing to be fed. Like some of the living obstacles in The Games." Talise gave a nod, but simply couldn't believe the fish weren't real. A school of brightly colored fish swan by and she could see even the shimmer of their scales in the blue light. She was mesmerized, so much so she blurted out something rather stupid. "So who get's the bed?" Talise said, as a small joke. She and her brother shared a bed back home since Talise refused to sleep alone as a child. She assumed everyone did that, since her parents never taught her otherwise. As long as it made her happy, her family was willing to do anything to keep her happy and sheltered from the wicked ways of the world. But Effie didn't get her joke, or take it as one. She let out a rather incredulous gasp. "Heaven's no my dear! That's scandalous! You and Kai shall have seperate rooms, mind you both are the same design!" Kai gave a chuckle at Effie's reaction and he gave the now blushing Talise a pat on the head. "Sorry, we're used to different social rules back home." Effie seemed less ruffled at Kai's explenation and composed herself with a clearing of her throat. "Yes, well, I guess it is a big change for underpriviledged District Children. Come this way Kai. Let's give Talise time to take a bath and ready for bed while I escort you to your room." Talise watched Kai as he left with Effie, her eyes showing she was a bit panicked to be left alone. He gave her a small smile, a sign that he would be back. She gave an uneasy sigh and went to the bathroom. It was just as massive as the room and had the same underawter theme with the marble and coral everywhere. There was a bath that was sunken into the floor, next to another view out into the oceanscape. She turned the bath on using the instructions beneath the control panel and instantly the tub filled with hot water at the perfect tempurature with bubbles rising within it. She smiled brightly, especially when she smelled roses from the bath soap. She stripped off her gaudy outfit, layer by layer till finally she was able to relax into the bath. She gave a hearty sigh as the warm water covered her, the rose smelling bubbles filling her senses with relaxation. Her eyes fluttered closed when the jets started and she let herself try to relax fully. But in those attempts, she realized something was holding her back. It was the pent up emotions within her mind, the ones her shock of all the days happenings had sealed away. She knew that to properly let go of anything, she needed to adress those feelings, to tap into the memories that were so heavy in the back of her mind they nearly crushed her. Her eyes opened and she tried to push those painful thoughts away. She wouldn't allow them to take her last bit of strength away. She needed that strength to stay sane. Regardless of wether she survived The Games or not, she wanted to be herself and stay true to what her brother would want to see her as in her last moments.

Mikk and Candez follow the man back, they weren't too social , either was the man he was point black at the moment. "Alright, there is the common area. The lights are all motion sensitive, Everything is well placed, easily visible. Now upstairs- let me show you your rooms. " Candez stopped to look around the common room, at the appliances there, it was strange she saw no Tv. but when she sat on the couch that was rolled out like a large bed it had a screen at an angle come out of it. She had never seen anything like that but it was so cool. "Mikk! Come look at this!" She had been over excited but what Mikk and the rep cam back down the stairs they both smiled at her child like amusement. "I'll leave you then. Remember what I explained, you are being watched so behave." Both nodded, her looked a bit confused returned to her amusement and flipped threw the channels. Mikk went upstairs to shower and shave to make himself look presentable for tomorrow, however when he returned down stairs Candez was passed out on the couch. He smiled, going up stairs ripping the blanket off her bed and covering her up with it. (common area, rooms are up the stairs) (Mikk's room) (same concept but all furniture glows bc of black lights) --------------------------------------------------------- Ian yawn, a few others had already left but He wanted to stay up a bit longer, grabbing an apple to munch on down the hallway they were lead to an elevator. He wasn't sure what they were doing but he was sure his stomach touched his toes and his brain in a few seconds. The elevator dropped then went to the left then forwards. "I think I regret eating that last apple..." Ava busted out laughing. "I bet you do...come on. don't throw up in here..." The rep gave then a bit of a stink eye till they go out. Showing them about Ava never left the enterence way as her eyes followed the chiseled out ground, making it a cave. She was in love with this room. Ian got the tour and told him he would show Ava around later. The rep left like he was holding his breath. Both of them noticed. "I think he doesn't like being under ground...." "Agreed, its amazing in here. I'm kinda glad I got drawn now, if i'm going to dye at least the days before I do are sweet." She gave him a rather sour look," Your not going to die, I won't let them... Now show me where I can get out of this itchy dress..." He showed her the place then eventually went to sleep himself. Ava however couldn't sleep, so she went back to the common room and looked around a bit more. She always had issues sleeping, making her a good night owl but it messed her up during the day. Usually she worked threw the night and slept all day, however that was considered back work ethic back when she was home. (Living space for District 2) (rooms idea)

(Terra's room) Terra walked around her room, her eyes glittering in excitement at just how huge it was. It was just what she loved, luxury of the highest degree with still a classy classical feel. And...It was pink! She giggled in a very girl way, plopping down on her plush bed with a sigh of relief. It was amazing, almost like the silk nightgown she had found tucked away with the tons of other clothes in the drawer. She rolled onto her back, her eyes flitting to the ceiling that was covered in mosaic so that it scattered multicolored light around the room. She breathed in a long breath in relaxation, just imagining having such beauty at home. Her mother would love a room like this, and her father would be impressed by such luxury. She would be the talk of the town, the envy of all the girls. She gave nother giggle of glee, so loud Vexus could hear it over the tv. He was watching over the broadcasts of The Games as the announcers argued over the tributes and first impressions. It seemed as though there were quite a few people that were in the public eye, but that wouldn't be for long. Once the training scores became public and the interviews afterwards, things would be much more black and white, the truly good and the truly weak would be weeded out. Vexus smiled as the screen flashed with images of the tributes and their Reaping days. It was perfect to see the scared faces and the more confident ones. His smile dropped when he saw his District and Terra walking up on the stage with him like it was some kind of movie premiere. He rolled his eyes, knowing that he wouldn't have to deal with her much longer. She wouldn't outlive her usefullness, he would make sure of that. (Kind of the style they're space goes for. Its like modern classical if that makes any sense? lol) ~~~~ Talise slipped out of the bathroom, the soft towel wrapped around her to keep her warm in the room. She went to grab her previous clothes, only to find they were gone. She frowned and saw a note was on the bed. "Talise, the drawers are full of finner clothing! Love, Effie" She frowned and opened the drawer to find an assortment of pajamas. She grabbed a nightgown and tugged it over her head before turning to a new drawer where she found underwear. She pulled out a pair and grimace at how expensive even they looked. She gave a shrug and finished getting dressed. When she was done she attempted to climb into bed to get comfortable but felt she just kept rolling around on the plush matress. She shoved her pillow around for a little while till finally her exaustion took over her. She laid there for a good few minutes watching as the water around her shimmer behind the glass. She watched the fish that passed by and was reminded fondly of the days where she would go to the reef with her brother to play. They would just sit on the rocks, watching the little fish pass through tidal pools and into the moving waves. She remembered listening to her brother explaining to her each of the types of fish and the way he would always end up splashing her so that they would end up fighting and tumbling in the waves. She looked back at her smile than and realized it seemed so far away from the girl she saw reflecting back at her from the glass. She closed her eyes the tears slipping down her cheeks as she gripped the covers close to her. She wanted nothing more than to push all the memories away from her but they all seemed to hit her at once. Her birthdays, the days at the beach, her time at school, the fishing, the first time she was shown how to hunt using weapons. She could see it all so clearly, a life she once held so dear that was all ripped from her. She couldn't see Fynn ever again and there was no way she would win these games... "I'm screwed." She whispered before rolling over and sobbing into her pillow for comfort.

Ian was the first one up the next morning, he went down, dressed in newer clothes. He wasn't sure if he was wearing the right outfit but it was matching at least. Ava was still sprawled out half dressed on the couch, she found it more comfortable then her bed room. She had been threw many books and had a few pieces of paper where she had scribbled things about the dimensions of the Arena above them. He smiled at her, poking her with his foot, she grunted. "Hey its time to wake up and put some bloody clothes on..." She looked up at him and glared."I was up all night, leave me alone." He smiled,"What were you doing?" He looked down at her paper noticing that she had been making notes like a plan of that to do when she was there ."What is this?" She sat up, tugging on her shirt, giving him a stink eye, "Keep your mouth shut. This is going to keep us alive." She pursed her lips as she gathered up her things and went to a crevices near the book shelves, pulling a book out of the shelf and opening it to find it was hollowed out, a small note form a previous tribute there. She put the papers in there knowing it was safe enough.
Mikk woke up when Candez burst into his room, with very loud music. She was singing really loud to it, the bass making the windows rattle slightly, a few glass objects in the room started moving. As she sung she pulled the blanket off his bed making his get up. "Really I'm trying to sleep here?!" She grinned at him trying not to mess up as he danced out of the room, her hands swishing back and forth over her head as she danced around. Skipping down the stairs she jumped on the couch and pretended to do a solo. Her head phones acting as boosters as she blasted the house hold with loud music. Mikk stumbled out of his room, a robe around him, his feet bare as he made his way down the stairs. "Are you always like this in the morning? If so you might as well quite now, Every one will know where we are instantly." She threw a pillow at him, kicking her blanket off more at him to trip him up, turning it up more, he covered his ears. "Really? Its too early for music." "I won't cry for you, I won't crucify the things you do..." He smiled at her as she turned it down ,getting off the couch and continued to dance around the room. She was peppy in the morning but rather crabby in the evening as she usually woke up early worked till Evening then went to sleep. Mikk did normal hours, as his wife also being in a slightly different area then her.

Talise woke from her morbid dreaming still as tired as when she fell asleep. She sat up and stretched, hearing someone moving around in the other room. She got up walking out of her room an into the sunlit living room. She sheilded her raw eyes from the sun only to find Kai smiling over his shoulder at her from the couch. "Good morning Talise!" He said and she gave him a vague wave. She frowned slightly however when she noticed he was fully dressed and seemed to be on the edge of his seat, like he just sat down. He even had shoes on. He noticed her calculating look and gave her a raise of brows. "Something the matter?" He asked and she shook her head before going to sit next to him. What she really wanted was some breakfast and coffee but they didn't have a kitchen in their rooms, something about saftey hazards and such. She pulled legs closer to her and Kai slipped back against the couch again. "Wow, you look like you didn't get much sleep...and today is the first day of training." She looked to him, at his worried look, and gave him an apologetic smile. "Not much sleep but I can handle the training, I promise. " Kai gave her a smile back before he ruffled her hair. She pulled her head away with a shocked look and Kai gave her a wink. "Sorry for a second there you reminded me of my sister, Katelyn." She frowned a bit not really thinking about Kai's family before that moment. Who had he left behind in District 4? There was a loud ding noise and suddenly in came Effie followed by a man in a waiters uniform pushing a cart. "Good morning District 4's!" She giggled but Talise was more focused on the food, especially when she saw coffee. Kai gave Effie a smile. "Good morning Effie. What's the plan for today?" He asked and she grinned. "Oh, well after you finish breakfast, All tributes are to report to the Training Center for a breefing. But first of course you two must be dressed and sent to get your health exams." Kai nodded and he looked to Talise, who was still eyeing the coffee like a cat to a canary. That made him laugh. "Well we better focus on breakfast first, right Talise?" Kai said and Talise followed him over to the table. ~~~ Terra walked beside Vexus, her eyes set ahead with a strong stance, oddly mirroring Vexus. She was getting serious today, she swore it to herself and to the people back home. She needed to learn how to truly survive these Games, entering the room to find Vexus watching reruns of Game's hilights had made her realize that. They entered a pair of double doors and walked into a white room. "Step onto the scanners." The Peacekeeper behind them said and their Representative nodded as he handed them two outfits that looked oddly like jumpsuits. Terra looked over the outfit that was suposed to aerodynamic, flexible and better for exercising in, but she simply grimaced at the uggly thing. "That's your athletic suite. You don't want to dirty your nice clothes." Terra and Vexus changed in the seperate changing rooms and then stepped on their scanners. "It's a health scanner, to test just how fit you are." The Representative told them as they stared at the pannels, a round lit up floor peice that instantly desplayed holographic screens that were analyzing every part of the tribute inside their ray. Once done with their scans, that they simply got a green light to say they were healthy, they were escorted through another set of thick steel doors. They entered a large room, massive in expanse and height. The tributes entered into a room with an open circle that was rimmed by 4 terrians each with their own coaches and instructors. There was a forest, a pool, a desert and a mountain course. The cirlce itself was littered with punching bags and rimms racked with weapons, test dummies, and of course matts for sparing. There were a few other tributes there and Peacekeepers that stood beaneath a balconey that overlooked the training center. There sat the Game Makers, the men and women who designed the Arena every year and oversaw the entire event. They would be observing the tributes today, to get a feel for what challanges to add, weapons to allow, and traps to be set to make the most interesting Game yet. "Vex, are they scoring us now?" Terra whispered, her eyes locked on the clipboard in one of the older Game Maker's hands. Vexus shook his head. "Scoring is on day three. Today we just learn the basics, take survival classes and give them a taste of what we can do." Terra nodded, meanwhile letting her gaze flit to one of the weapons racks. She eyed the daggers there and her eyes took on a seriously scary humor. She felt an elbow dig into her side and quickly looked at Vexus. "What the hell-?" "Don't go for your usual and all out today. Try to be versatile and blend. If the Game Makers see all your skill today, they wont be as amazed tomorrow." She watched Vexus for a long moment, trying understand him. He was acting like he wanted her to survive...She turned to face forward, hiding the smile that plagued her lips. She couldn't let him have satisfaction of seeing her smile over one act of sympathy towards her.

After they ate, they proceeded to the scanners to be tested to see how healthy they were. Both were Pinged green and handed suits to change into. Ava had a slight issue with hers, the top half was a bit tight on her chest. she had an undershirt on still but tired the sleeves around her waist. Ian's fit perfectly as he looked at her job of putting it on he rolled his eyes. "You do know that the sleeves go on your arms right?" She smiled at him," They don't fit good." She said as they went out into the training area, looking around they saw the guy from last Vexus, looking around like this was just a game. It was so much more then that. Ava recommended they start stretching to get ready for what ever was thrown at them first.
Candez wasn't happy with the suit. It was an ugly color, she hated ugly colors. Mikk sighed, black wasn't a good color for him wither, he needed a crest white suit shirt to make black look good, but what choice did they have. Walking out Mikk's breath caught at how large it was. Candez walked up to about where Ian was and tapped his shoulder," What are we supposed to be doing today?" He turned ot look at her from his stretch. "Well I don't exactly know. Ava and I are getting warmed up however. Your welcome to join us if you like." Ava smiled at him when he was trying to make friends, Candez frowned, waving Mikk over," You can warm up with these two I'm going to ask about what we are up to today." She strolled away towards Terra, knowing she must know something. "Hey, Whats the plan for today?" Candez made it so she was standing right in front of her so she couldn't mistake her talking to any one else. Mikk sighed," I'm sorry, she isn't the most social person. I think she lacks skill really." Ava laughed," Well that's a nice quality in a partner however, serious and to the point." Mikk snickered," If you call dancing about like a child way to early in the morning a good quality I'll trade you." Ian smiled at that stretching out his legs. He was glad they had a some what alliance now- if he could even call it that he was more of a friend.

Terra was surprised to have someone suddenly step infront og her, someone she didn't recognize. Vexus gave a humored look to Candez before he held up three fingers to Terra, letting her know she was Mikk's district partner. Terra nodded just as Vex turned and walked off to go and ask an instructor a question or two. "Well today is the begining of our training for The Games. It's kind of like...practice and observation. See them..." She pointed up to the glassed off balconey with the people in it in the fancy suites. "Those are The Game Makers. They're judging us on our skill and observing us for the Games. Let's see, from what Vex told me, we just are practicing today and taking a few survival classes. I think there are quite a few classes on different survival techniques in each of these stations but I'm not too sure..." She looked the blue haired girl over and gave her a smile. She liked how straight forward she was. "Sorry but I don't think we've met properly which I think is a shame since I think your hair color is to die for!" She said with a girly giggle. "I'm Terra by the way. You are?" ~~~ Kai and Talise made their way down to the health exams and saw their scores displayed quite well since they got a green light. They took the suites and after changing, headed to join the others. The room had quite a few people, all 24 and Peackeeper's, but it hardly made a dent in the massive rooms capacity. It made Talise feel small while Kai was simply in awe. "Look Talise, a pool! It's the size of a shore line! It's so epic! We should give it a try-oh but we should also do the other stuff-but maybe not since we are swimmers-um maybe we should try the desert then since we aren't used to that-but that is sand and there's sand on beaches-so the water then? or weapons- It hink- Oh I dunno-what do you thinK?" Talise was lost again in his quick speaking so she simply shook her head. He gave a sigh and looked ahead noticing the others there that they sat with last night. He thought of saying hello and raised his hand to wave at the District 2 girl and guy who were with Mikk but was interrupted by a man shouting at the top of his lungs, "Everybody quiet!" His voice boomed and Talise grabbed Kai's hand in aversion to the loud noise. She didn't like loud noises.

Candez noticed Vexus pointing out her district, like her head phones weren't obvious enough. She focused on the girl and a small smile came to her lips," Candez. Its a pleasure to meet you Terra, thanks for the info. I have to go save my dumb partner..." Walking back to Mikk she sighed, explaining all the things back to them, Mikk sighed. "Well if we have 3 days of this we better not push our selves too hard the next few days till they tell us to do our absolute best...Even then, we need a few tricks up our sleeves." He smiled his jokers smile and went to grab a weapon to swing about when a man yelled every one to be quiet. He stopped and turned to look at the voice. Ava was still stretching when the man told them to be quiet, she didn't really care, she wasn't talking what did it matter. Ian's eyes were on the glassed in area with the people, he felt like an animal in a well decorated cage... He wasn't sure he wanted to do this any more.

"Alright Tributes, time for your breefing on the Training Center." The men began drawing in a breath so that he could begin his loud explenation. "Here we have 5 stations in all, The forest, the desert, the water, the mountians, and our gym. Each of these places has a different class and skills which you can master. Each offers seperate courses on survival, trap making, camoflodge, and ofcourse endurance. You're free to chose which classes you take with what instructor. You have until the bell chimes over the PA to practice as much as you want. Remember, you are being supervised and watched at all times. Should any tribute cause intentional harm to another, you will be escorted out of the Training Center and put on lock down until the Games. The level of these offense will be dealt with hastilly,." Talise looked between Kai and everyone else. They all looked so eage and ready. Why was it she felt petrified. "With no further instructions I ask again, any questions?"

((Sorry it was so her attitude... I couldn't help it lol))
Ava listened to this drivel about what was going on and sighed raising her hand as this reminded her of a bad school play. "Yes, Can I go back to sleep?" She asked half expecting to be put down for her attitude, however Mikk snickered at her, as Candez did. Ian looked at her like she was crazy. Candez however was interested in the forest and how things echoed there...She was interested by that adn how sound reverberated there- knowing about the desert already as well as the water. Mikk was looking forward to the training area He had seen a chakram of excellent quality, he was also calculation how to make slight changes to it to resemble the modified one he had left at home since he wasn't allowed to bring it. Ian was too blown away by Ava's audacity to think of anything but a bit of panic that he was going to go into this death trap alone. Ava stood there looking like she was asleep on her feet, not having slept that night.

The instructor's eyes narrowed in Ava's direction and a ripple of noise passed over the Tributes. Some laughed, others gasped, while som just stared at her silently. even the Representatives gave chuckles, though Effie looked faint. Kai was one of the one's to laugh, even Talise chuckled. Terra gave her an eyeroll and Vex simply shook his head. "Ah I see. The commical type." The instructor glared at her and motioned over to a Peacekeeper, the Peacekeeper went to move but a loud tap came from above. They looked up and saw one of the Game Makers, a tall lanky man in a red and black suit, with black hair and a beard that resembled fire was shaking his head, chuckling soundlessly through the sound proof glass. He gave a shake of his head to the instructor before fading back into the background of the other Game Makers. The instructor looked wide eyed and surprised at being told to stop but let it drop with a pissed frown. "Alright Tributes. At the sound of the bell you may begin." The Representatives filed out and shortly afterwards the bell chimed. Everyone went their seperate ways, some flocking to the weapons while others went to the classes. Kai and Talise followed one another to the desert, knowing they would have issues there if the Arena turned out to be a desert this year. It was always a mystery what the Arena would be and such was the down fall of last years Tributes. They were stuck in an Arctic wasteland. The winner was decided by a simple turn out of who froze to death first, making that Game less than interesting for the fans. Terra simply took to weapons since she really did need to work on her versatility. Vexus however was eyeing the courses in the forest, picking up small bits and peices that made it up. He would have to drag Terra in that direction sooner or later. His gut was telling him a forest would be something important to learn how to survive in... Kai looked over the desertous area, trying to imagine surviving in a place with literally no water. It looked very bleak. The instructor prattled on about using the sun as a compass while drawing lines in the sand to study wind pattern. Talise had taken off for the other lesson in fire starting and shelter while he took the more functional classes. He didn't complain, since he had a sense he would do just fine in these Games...

Mikk looked at the weapon and decided how to make the modification in the field, flipping it around a bit ten struck a target or two he went to another weapon, He looked over a girls' shoulder. "Excuse me miss, Are you using the light sword? I'm afraid I'm not much use with a brawd sword. I'm not strong enough I don't think...." He gave her a small smile, remembering what his wife had been talking about a while back before the games when they were watching one together. She had been yelling at the television about a man using a weapon- the only one he could find to fight for his life- how ever she was screaming at him to just die because he wasn't strong enough. He wasn't going to win because he was from a lesser district. A frown came over his face as he thought about how his own wife volunteered him for the games. Candez was in the woods making noised to see how they echoed, when an instructor told her about tracking she immediately got interested so she diverted her attention to simple things such as that in all the areas, in the water, the desert and the forest.
Ava smiled at the man up there that had kept her from being placed in confinement and she went to the water area to get used to it, She was more used to the desert like environment being rock and all but it wasn't too bad. Ian went with her, following as she did to make sure if eh lost he he was as prepared as she was.

Terra raised the sword up to the dummy, her eyes focusing on the vitals. She was ready to kill, ready to give into her less civilized nature. In a whirl of motion she bright the sowrd down on different points all but cutting it to ribbons with a precision that was rather uncanny. She threw the sword into the dummies head and rolled to the floor with a clatter. She gave a breath and a smile, sensing she just terrified a boy from a lesser district who had been sparing with his tribute partner. She flicked her hair over her shoulder and picked the sword from the dummies head. She walked over to the rack and shoved the sword back into its place. She heard someone behind her talking to a tribute girl nearby and Terra gave a smirk. It was the man from last night who challanged Vexus. "That sword is too light for you, you need something with a little weight to keep your body balanced." She let her fingers glide over the swords till she reached one she found that she liked. She pulled it out by the grip and offered it to him point down.
Vexus hung from upside down on the rock wall path, trying to climbed onto the ledge. He was struggling with this mountain course but he would never admit it. He had shattered his hand when he was younger and it ached like hell when he put too much strain on it. He could ignore it but that didn't mean he could handle it. He clutched the edge and finally brought himself up and over. He huffed and stood, the people bellow him giving him shocked look since he made it up there before even the kid from the coal mining district stone District could get up there. He gave a smirk when the kid came up puffing out tired breaths and he turned his gaze to Kai and Talise.
Talise was struggling with a flame and keeping it lit. She had never started a fire before and was confused as hell on how to work with flint and sticks. She watched the other boy and girl across from her and saw how easily they struck and started the fire. Talise resigned herself to a failure and looked back to see Kai. He was near the water talking with another guy there, showing him how to make a proper hook. He rolled over the hook in his fingers and twisted it, making it look like a snared spiral. "How is this going to catch something?" He grumbled and Kai gave a shrug. "Dunno, it just does." He threw the spiraled hook into the seperated water spot for fishing. The kid began to laugh, taling to his tribute partner about how this kid was full of it and wouldn't catch a fish. However, a moment later Kai snatched the line out of the water, a rather large fish skidding over to the snickering tributes' feet who were now staring in awe. "It's a neat trick my father taught me. Study it. It even works without bait." He said before turning his attention back to the water. It was fresh water, he could tell by the consistency and the lack of smell that it was. He gave a frown and knelt by it, his hand skimming the water. This was the first time he had seen fresh water in such a large ammount. He lifted his hand and rubbed it between his fingers, before his attention turned to the glassed off box of Game Makers. The man that had helped Ava was looking down at Kai, his smile spreading on his lips. Kai met that smile with a steady look before he turned his attention back to the water. He caught sight of his reflection and saw he was frowning in a rather pissed way. He tried to shake it but didn't fade. He was scarred by his thoughts and the lie he kept trying to convince himself wasn't real.

Smiling at Terra he accepted her help in finding a better balanced weapon," Thank you. I'm not much for swords... I'm more for projectile objects." He took a few swings with it at a dummy, making a few kill shots, but not via the head, he knew where to hurt a human, and how to kill them in one shot, or how to make them die slowly, his uncle had taught him, since he had been from District one. Smiling he nodded to her and replaced the sword marking it as he remembered about it, then he headed off to the forest area to get a few lessons of survival there.
She was watching Kia and what he said, making notes in her head, like a rock sketch for cuts. "So With this one you don't need bait but with this more simple design we do?" She asked him curious now since she figured she would be forced to fish at least some time in her experience.
Candez was standing at the bottom of the rock wall looking up and watching how they each scaled the wall, noting how each got where first and how they accomplished it. Taking what she saw she combined whet others were doing and climb up, she got up pretty quickly, though she was tired she took a break at a ledge. "I think watching helps others learn at new things..." she smiled down at another person who was working their way rather slowly up the wall. she felt kinda bad for them but they would eventually get there.
