When he lifted her out of the seat she looked up at him, holding his gaze a bit of her game when she wasn't sitting, though the room was still spinning. When he was looking her in the eye and telling her that how she had almost killed him was okay she looked a bit confused but let it slide. When he mentioned getting into a fight with her she giggled, her humor coming back a bit, hiding her somber mood. Taking the knife she brushed her hand on his as she took it to let him know she appreciated the fact that he was hiding it from the bar tender. She tucked it into her bra discretely and smiled," I'm sorry, I just had a bit of a zone out and knocked it over... I don't know what came over me. My apologies." She said to the bar man. Looking back to Logan she smiled," Wanna go for a walk? I think the pond lights in the park are on tonight. I saw it in the paper this morning." She flashed a smile thought her eyes were still a bit wet from holding her tears back from her embarrassment.

The confused look on her face when he told her it was okay clued him into the fact she didn't understand his reasoning. Simply enough that wasn't the first time he had a knife pulled on him, or something worse. He wasn't squeemish around weapons and he had a pretty high pain tolerance. Not that getting stabbed would be a cap off to his day, but it certainly wasn't something he would fret. Besides, what could be a more perfect test of the twisted psyche than to be faced with the possibility of harming some one? Did she actually cut him? No. Did she have ample opportunity? Yes. And did he feel threatened? Possibly. But did she actually act as though she wanted to harm him directly? No. And that was enough for him at the moment. Besides, he at least needed to play things cool here. If he wanted to he could make a scene and arrest her on charges of assult of an officer, but he didn't see the point. She asked him however if he wanted to go somewhere alone with her. That wasn't going to be a problem was it? Well, he could say that as an officer he would have to keep an eye on her for being a 'danger to herself and others' in this state, but wouldn't that be hiding behind a mask, as she so kindly put it? In retro spect maybe, but perhaps he was actually a bit worried about her. She may be armed but what good would a knife do her if some drugged up bum decided to harm her, or even this new guy on the streets that cut up the Evan's girl. He shook the thought off and noticed Davis was grumbling something to himself. "Nah it's alright, girlie." He said, though he was concentracted on the wine. Logan took out his wallet and slapped down the money enough to cover things there. He had an ample ammount to spend today it seemed. "Sure." He said in response to her asking to go for a walk. He knew it was blunt, but he couldn't pretend to care about lights or ponds. He held the door for her though and offered her a slight smile that was a bit tense. He wasn't bad with tears perce, he just had a certain business decorum when handling them. Whenever you had to do the housecalls or arrests or even court appearances, you got alot of tears. He only know how to handle them the police departments way. Be as calm and straighforward as possible.

She smiled when he agreed, she wanted to see what the lights looked like. Walking out she thanked him for holding the door. They walked a little bit and found them selves a the park, a few people strolled there as well, only most were couples. Her hands at her side she walked around her hand occasionally straying to pull a leaf or so form a tree to tear it up. It was silent between them and she sighed," Have you ever had to kill to protect those you loved?" She asked him in a soft voice like a mother would to a beloved baby. "And did you keep killing even after they were already gone? To try to make up from not being there or for not being good enough?" She didn't look at him but continued to play with the leaves in her hand. She danced a bit over the pacers along the walk, a Couple passed and smiled at them. "Answer me honestly...Its important... I promise I have a point to all my questions..." If she drove him of then it was better for him, and she would get back to her usual routine of fine and kill.

Logan enjoyed the night air in the city. It wasn't as loud as the day, though there was still your occasional industrial noise, car alarm, or just chatter from other people. He enjoyed the quiet more than the brisk feeling air it seemed, but the silence seemed so much more short lived. Almost like his semblance of calm, very short lived it seemed. It wasn't like he was angry at her question, though it did make him wonder why she would ask that. The premise of killing, it was murder no matter how it was done or for waht cause. He was strict in that view. If someone killed, it was because they wanted to...he understood that all too well. But the question wasn't as much about killing as it was the reason behind it? If there was a reason perce, the reason being someone he loved...Pain flooded a part of his heart, along with an inky black fury that crept into his thoughts. It was something he kept pent up, locked away because of the dangerous nature of the feelings. But now with his slight buz and the open ended silence hanging in the air, it only pushed the feeling to the forefront of his mind. "...once, only once with a reason in mind, for someone I love." Allison's face came to mind and the fresh sting of the wound in his heart ached. He could see Darius's face shortly afterward, the arms distrobutor who owned the club she worked at. The swelling rage hit him full force, though it wasn't apparent in his face. His expression was void of anything, almost like apathy but much colder. He could see himself on the night the raid finally happened, when he found Allison scared to death and hiding behind one of the couches. Darius had....hurt her and he wasn't going to put up with that. He killed the bastard before the call could even come over the air waves of wether they wanted him to be brought in for questioning. It was written in the case report he died in a firefight. Total bull shit. As far as continuing to kill. There wasn't a day that went by that he wished he could get his hands on the person who took her and make them suffer. But had he continued to kill? No...unless he counted killing himself slowly. He looked to her, his expression no different. "The point?" He asked bluntly wanting to hear where she was going with this. He was being honest, so why shouldn't she?

She noted the dangerous look on his face out of the corner of her eyes, and that only made her smile sympathetically meaning she had hit the nail on the head. " I had to kill...Self defense if you will...I had to step threw pools of blood to get to the next one... one after another they came at us...It was hard to distinguish time...It felt like forever..." She looked at him with a serious face," Have you ever wanted to know some one who could help take back everything that has gone wrong... Bring back people...that have been lost...Make them suffer for what they have done..." She never answered his blunt question, making him use his own thoughts to think about that. She was feeling a bit sick at the moment but more so angry as she saw the faces of the human's that made them kill each other, a massacre for their enjoyment. Her cheeks were burning with anger and so were her eyes. It was hard to keep in check when she was angry but she was hoping she could let a few things slip ans he wouldn't notice.

It was hard to get many things past Logan's notice, not that she was trying too hard to mask much of anything. Here she was, telling a cop that she killed people. Not when or how or even who, but still admitting to a pretty heavy crime. But she wasn't in the system for any crimes, he had figured that out when the testing for the hair had come along from the gangster's body. So then why would she be telling him this? Was that he point? To admit to killing people? He had to admit it was a bit odd, but also dangerous for him. It wasn't exactly safe to wander the city with someone who had a violent history. Nothing good ever came out of it. Hell, he shouldn't have even been talking to her now to begin with, but it seemed he couldn't keep himself quiet at this point. Not when he was seemingly getting answers to questions he had about her. Could this be what her brother was covering up? Her next statement made his chest feel tight. Such a strange woman...voicing such an impossible wish that most anyone would have. He was no exception, it showed in the slightly strained smirk he gave. "Yes. But once something done, it's done, and you can't take back something that's gone completely, lost without a single trace." He said glancing at her and saw the anger in her expression. So, this was an odd place that this conversation put them in. The two twisted people with pasts that involved blood. Interesting... "But to make them suffer huh, sounds like an farfetched idea." He said looking ahead to where the lake was. He could see lights on the water, but they looked almost like spirits ghosting across the smooth surfaced water. It was a haunting sight in a way.

She saw his smirk but didn't smile back,"How do you know she is gone when you have no proof?" Her tone was snappish like she was pissed off. "And making people suffer for their cruelty isn't far fetched... its more realistic than you think...How many people suffer every day as they rot in prison as they 'pay' for their crimes... Its very realistic, I personally know what its like to have to pay for the crimes of others..." Her face was dark but inviting in a strange way, she didn't feel like lying to him, though she knew she outta have. Glancing at the lake the lights were quite nice however she wasn't in the mood any more.

Logan felt his emotions spike for a moment at her prior comment. She had no right to say a damn thing. He looked to her and gave her a glare. "Don't you dare tell me--" He paused and tightened his jaw as he struggled not to lose his temper. He rubbed his jaw, due to the fact it was hurting from the force. So, she had a hunch of just who he killed for... "It's realistic, but society dictates how someone's punished. And we all pay for the crimes of others. Everyone had to one way or another. It's how the system works." He didn't take his eyes off her though she wasn't looking at him currently. was she just trying to piss him off?

she turned her green eyes that had an ire glow to them at the moment to him. "I am above your system... She said simply, she didn't care if he didn't understand yet, she was angry and she composure was slipping major. Her words were a solid statement and she was more than confident. "What can you do to me Logan? Your angry- I can understand your pain better now..." She added onto her statement when eh had began to threaten her. He had already said he didn't wanna fight against her because of her reflexes, however he didn't know a third of it. She stance was cat like as she stood there stubbornly with a hand on the fence, the other one at her side simply there, her eyes on him and her face straight with a slight curled up smile.

Logan was a bit lost at her comment. Above the system? Was that just he confidence speaking? No...that was a real belief in her eyes. That was more like a fact to her. She questioned him, asked what he could do to her. A whole lot of things for starters, but would he do them was the question? She stood there staring at him, her green eyes had a supernatural light to them. She seemed poised as if she were ready for him to make a move. He'd be lying if he said that those eyes of her's didn't send a very real chill down his spine. "Nothing I didn't want to." He said knowing it wasn't exactly much of an answer. He gave her a rather annoyed frown. "So what? You brought me out here to piss me off so you could understand how shitty I feel over-" He gritted his teeth and took a breath through his nose though it did little to put the numbness back over his feelings. "Well you got what you wanted. So now what? Want to push some more or are you going to rise above the system and fix things. Your out of your mind." He asked though he was sure he was getting himself only in deeper.

When he called her out of her mind, her eyes got more intense and her hair got a bit spikier, in a way she looked a bit scarier, like a freaking out demon- like she was. Her lips a usual red-ish color were turning darker more black green, Her nails flashing a deep green color, from the bright pink they had been. She looked more than pissed but livid at this point, not really bothering to keep her image much less her impulses in check since he had just out right challenged her. Demons hated being challenged by inferior things regardless of their influence to them. "So you have the nerve to call me out of my mind?! I can only rise above your pathetic system when Some one pays the fine!" She snarled at him. It was quite obvious at the moment that she hated being challenged. her face screwed up in an angry snarl, her lips curled up showing very sharp ceraided teeth like a knife blade. "You are more than pathetic Logan.... You have to rely on miniscule things to keep your self going you can't rise above because of those little things in your locked mind telling you its wrong...I have better things to do tonight." She said getting herself under some control and stormed off. She didn't care what happened to him right now, she needed to kill something before she killed him.
She sprinted off once out of sight of the corner they were close to and got gone. She went to a well populated Gothic dance club where they thought her outfit was 'twisted sweet', so she got free admition. She danced her way provokingly threw the crowd, getting a few drinks here and there from men, hell even a few girls. She took a charming boy up on his offer to go out to his car with him. ON the walk there she had convinced his mostly drunk ass to sell her his soul like it was some kinky foreplay, easy as taking candy from a baby- who was left at an orphanage. "You look wicked miss." She grinned as she slid into the back seat of his little 09' cobalt. Its windows were tinted and she smiled as he slid in after her. "What do you desire? What can I do for you to make your soul mine?" She asked her voice being honest thought all he heard was something along the lines of roll playing. Stupid humans. "Better yet... keep your soul... I want your screams..." She concluded as she turned the stereo up in the car and used her sharp nails as they were extended with practiced skill to the size of knives. No one could hear him screaming in pain as she did to him as she did to the girl who had slept with her brother. Cut him up so bad it was hard to recognize him. She smiled a sick smile as she licked the blood from him, then leaning in she gave him a kiss that took in his soul- she stole it and it tasted so sweet...Making sure all evidence was gone, she slide out of the car after dialing 911 on his phone, knowing they would respond when no one answered. There wasn't even a hair to trace it to her, she left absolutely nothing left for this vegetable. Then man's eyes were vacant and he was as good as dead, he would never feel love, pain, hate, or hurt even... She had his living soul that kept his body feeling emotion- only now he was as good as dead to the world in a living coma state. That made her smile that she didn't do that to Logan, now that she had calmed down she smiled and dent home, jumping in the shower, her brother could smell the blood but he didn't comment he just smiled, giving her a kiss on the forehead once she got out and let her sleep. He was blogging and was proud of his sister fro not doing something stupid.

Logan usually didn't let his anger take over him the way it did tonight. Usually he was much more careful with what he said. But Laurel had set him off and he was hardly the type to reign himself in afterward. He knew he had hit a sour note with calling her out of her mind, but it was true. What did she think she was? Some kind of all mighty being or something? But his original intentions of simply snapping at her were quickly kicked up a notch when she seemed to change. There was a static to the air that threw his human reflex of danger senses into a panic. He still glared at her but he was getting that spine crawling feeling that sent shocks of unease through him. Was it just him or was Laurel changing? That sneer of hers actually made him take a step back. 'what the-are her teeth actually-?' He was caught up again by his emotions when she started belittling him. He was beyond pissed at this point but her strange dangerous aura kept him in place. He let her leave due to the fact he couldn't quite think right past the rage that spiraled through him like an angry hornet. So he was wrong for having morals? For wanting to continue some kind of existence? She had no fucking right to call him pathetic when she couldn't even look at spilled wine without having a damn near PTD fit. He knew his anger made him childish instead of composed and controlled but he threw the thoughts of reasoning away. He wouldn't chase her down or continue to argue with her though. At this moment he just wanted to cool down so the throbbing in his head could quit and he could bring back the numbness to the emotions that threatened to make him do something stupid.

Once Laurel had gone to bed Ian made a note to call Logan in the Morin to question him, he was sure his sister was talking to him before she snapped. Me hated it when people fucked with his family, it pissed him off royally. Eventually getting to bed he was a bit restless, heading out really to take a jog in the park, he was dressed in sweats since it was chilly.
----------- Laurel woke in the morning to a nasty headache, she looked around her room and it seemed to 3-d in a way, looking around she saw herself in the mirror seeing that her demon appearance hadn't faded yet. Looking a little miffed she smiled remembering why it wasn't like her normal appearance... she had done a bad thing and stole a soul. The payment was a demon's appearance to be seen for a short time. She got out of bed and looked at herself enjoying her wild look, it if were special effects they were looking for she would win with out a competition. She got into a pair of jeans and a t shirt, dressing simple since she wasn't leaving the house anyhow. She wasn't going to the bar either- if he wanted to apologize he could do the work and find her.

Logan went into work that day in a bit more forgiving mood than he had been in last night. He had passed out and got some sleep but the irritation hardly gave him any real rest. He couldn't shake the words she said, the anger in those creepy eyes of hers, those teeth...he must have just had a bad drink right? There was no way she actually changed into some kind of monster. But she had the attitude of one. He gave a groan as he sat at his desk and gave in to rubbing his eyes with the heel of his hand. He was still uneasy about all the cases, and rumor has it there was an inspection soon for his unity. He aimed his glare at the wall and he instantly realized that he actually felt a bit bad for calling her crazy. Though she was saying some things he didn't agree withm he knew better than to talk to a woman like that. No matter how infuriating she was....

She dug threw the cupboards and couldn't find any coffee, it was bugging the hell out of her, so she decided to go get coffee. Putting on a thick sweater, sun glasses and gloves she went outside since it was chilly today it worked out nice. Walking to the small coffee shop as usual she got herself a coffee and glanced at the paper on the table and smiled at the front page on a boy that was hospitalized last night and how they thought ti was a serial cutter. She snickered but grabbed a paper to buy and got at the back of the line to pay for it.
---- When Ian got home his sister was out of bed and out of the house, that confused him a little but he let it slide, it wasn't like she was being a humor or anything, she was bloody last night meaning she was working again.
