Twila respected that Ays answered but the skin comment was a bit overboard. Twila had dealt with a whole hell of alot of backwards dealing and betrayal in the last year to save her from wanting that feeling ever again. She didn't want to blindly follow someone else's agenda unless it meant surviving. Her angelic vanity was still there but she was not the same flower that wilted at the first sign of danger. She was a powerful angel with enough energy at the moment to obliterate this city and take the world down with it. She wasn't just struggling for herself at the moment, but the fate of what happened to innocent lives next. That meant not blindly going along with what a demon sword was telling her without the facts. The last time she trusted someone blindly, it got her shoved into a cage, bound by these marks and eventually being handed off by her mentor to the goddess to do something against her will. Not exactly a pretty picture painted of trust. But it seemed she had little time to consider much more since the husk began attacking, making Twila go on the defensive. However the sword had other ideas, willing its way into strikes against the body currently being controlled. Twila avoided the blood spattering from wounds on the body, but occasionally a droplet or two would hit her skin, making it sear and burn like being hit with acid. Thankfully the marks worked to counteract the poisonous blood, quickly healing her but losing alot of energy in the process. The power and healing it was giving her was wearing thin from the overuse of the energy that was supposed to be stored elsewhere. What with Twila distracted and the marks trying to keep her alive, it wasn't storing enough energy for the grand attack on the world it needed. That made the marks begin to ache again, reminding her that they needed energy to function that she wasn't getting from this empty dead being that had no soul energy to feed off of. The Husk's attacks were very powerful, knocking Twila around from what did land and what she was able to block. It was obvious that even though Twila was getting at the Husk with the blade, it was not wearing the demon down the same as it was herself. That much was obvious when Twila was left panting and bruised when she tossed the blade to Lian, her arms aching from losing the weight of the heavy blade. She watched in some near exhausted hope as the blade went through the Husk, causing black, oozing blood to pour from the wound in thick globs. She fell onto her knees a good ways back, her wings trembling around her half protectively as the marks began acting up again, this time glowing almost brightly enough to blind someone. Her mind was telling her they were starving, punishing her with pain to make her go find something else to sate them. They knew this host was weaker than Sariel and that she couldn't control them the same way, hence why it was taking the liberty to show her what it wanted and when. Besides, Twila's uncertainty in this situation was dangerous, especially to her survival since they didn't know what would happen in this struggle between the husk and soul.

It was odd hearing your own voice again- in your own head- literally. "I'm here to take this back if you don't mind. It is mine after all." Ays stated to the husk as the sword went through however she made no move to remove it or fight further at the moment. "You left it there on the ground for anyone- I just happened to claim it."The child's voice was smooth as he spoke to his old friend- the words out loud however the conversation sounding one sided as it was. "Does this mean you are coming home finally?" he asked after a short pause when she didn't say anything. "I can- but only If I have my body- being a sword does me little good." She said in a more persuasive way making the husk laugh. "Oh- now you wnat your body after you discarded it for that angel? Or was it the long blond one- can never remember." The husk felt anger from the blade as it heated up- showing red in her middle which only made them laugh. "Hit a nerve I see, its fine- he treated your body fine when he saw you. He was a little disappointed in your once pretty face but I thought it was just since you did leave me. Bind you like the dead- as punishment." he said out loud making the sword give a loud ring sound as though it had been hit on a pipe. The husk smiled and made a move over towards Lian, taking a few steps, more blood oozing from her as she did, looking him over. "Are you the one she left me for?" the voice sounded dark and boyish- obvious to who it was. Lian looked at the husk and shook his head lightly in his exhaustion. "If I were I would be pleased- she is merely a friend of mine-nothing more." Lian explained looking a little heart broken to say so but it was honest. "So left that one too- my my- you leave me- then this angel- then Gazardiel then that large one? My you have quite the track record don't you." He chided the sword giving the black a flick with her fingers. The feeling of remorse flooded the husk and it made them feel uncomfortable as they looked. "I understand your sadness, but do your really think things can just go back to how they were?" He asked the sword like they were arguing with themselves. "They can- simply let me have this vessel back- I will come back- I swear it. I am doing as Kamael asked of me, I beg you father." She spoke softly to him in his head- pleading for this chance. "I think not, I will be taking you back with me however as a trinket. for your punishment. Now for her." he said before turning to look at Twila and moved towards her- ignoring Lian having lost interest in him. At that moment she knew how to do this- and it was going to hurt more then she wanted to admit. Before the husk got too close to Twila- she forced her soul essence from the sword into the body- flooding it with herself and pushing the un fathers' control of the body away -making the husk spazam like it were having a seizure. There was an internal struggle then of who was going to win however with how much blood had been lost she was winning- thankfully. Her own words came form her own mouth then, sounding struggled and harsh to Twila as she made the body fall over- towards Twila. "Take the sword out- slowly- let the marks take the energy." She said more as a pained exhale as he waited for Twila to take the sword. In hoping the marks would adhere to it instead of the girl. This was a shot in the dark but if her theory worked like her body did them the marks would go the the powers old vessel- the sword that was now vacant and try to take her power that way however her body was now in control- the blood leaving her body in pools form her wounds to escape her- since she had won that fight in his weakened state.

Twila watched the body struggle with itself, speaking aloud with a voice that sounded more male than it had before. The childish voice made a shiver run up her spine when she realized what was going on. The child was in that body's mind and controlling it. She listened to the pair argue, though she only heard the husk's words. It spoke of betrayal and leaving people throughout her life. From the child, to Gazardiel, Lian and Kamael...It seemed Ays had a list was growing. She felt a pain for Ays in a sense, knowing that the demon couldn't have wanted to leave her friends. Twila didn't understand all of the circumstances, but she did understand that there must have been something special there for a demon to defy the child and seek their companionship. What she had with Jack was special enough that he gave up quite a bit for her and she for him...She was only shocked by the idea that she ended up in a sword of all things. She was curious about how that happened, but she didn't have the energy to ask at the moment. That and she didn't want to draw attention to herself. When the child went after Lian, she tensed and tried to get to her feet to get to him to help, but the marks sent a shocking pain through her body that made her sink back into place. There wasn't much she could do for him anyways against the husk. The thing was just too powerful...She blinked when she heard the child suddenly say to Ays that she would be taken as a trinket and then turned the body towards Twila. She tensed, trying to move back from it as it shambled toward her, not liking the idea of the black blood bleeding creature near her in a weakened state. She however witnessed the sword react suddenly, the Husk falling near her. The words it spoke were different now, the voice recognizable as the one from the sword. She heard the plea and her eyes grew wide, staring at the sword with some unease. The marks began to glow expectantly, seeming to be seeking out the soul energy nearby. Twila reached out a hand, taking the sword with a hesitant hand. The marks responded instantly, glowing and writhing erratically at the simple contact. She felt the pain of their hunger and the burning desire to take the soul energy, but Twila held her focus. She stared at the sword, pushing her will into it with a force she wasn't sure she could ever muster. The marks began to slither and move in complex patterns, working their way down her arms in a searing line of pain. The heat coming off of Twila and the blade was almost unbearable, to the point the steel was glowing almost white from the smoldering energy being contained within it. Twila kept pulling the sword however, keeping her focus locked and gritting her teeth in effort not to let the power return to her. By the time the marks reached her hand, she already had the tip of the blade almost out of Ays's body. Suddenly the marks gave a final blinding flash and Twila felt something leave her in a rush of energy outwards. She dropped the sword, her own body collapsing from the sudden loss of spirit energy that had been greater than herself. It was like having a part of herself torn away, leaving her smoking frame feeling drained into unconsciousness. When the blade hit the ground away from Twila's grasp, the blade stopped glowing but finely etched markings matching the ones Sariel and then Twila had once held were wrapped around the blade in intricate clusters. It was an impressive sight, even if the marks hunger was sated in this stasis, waiting patiently for an unsuspecting wielder to feed them. ~~~ Michael dodged a swing from Gabriel, feeling the air rush past his nose by mere centimeters. It drew an angrier look from the bruised and bloodied Michael, especially because of the predicament he was in compared to Gabriel. He looked a mess, bruises, dirt and blood on him from taking Gabriel's hits and stabs. However, Gabriel looked the picture of health, only red in the face and bruised and scratched in places from where Micahel tried to restrain him. The little bastard was quick and had a sneaky fighting style that surprised Michael more than he expected. However, Michael couldn't bring himself to harm Gabriel. Not beyond a bruise or two. Even in a half crazed state, Gabriel was still his lover, someone he cared for more than himself. He was sworn to protect him...and that's what he would do. Michael felt a cold metal suddenly against his neck and found Gabriel was inches from his face. "Why must you be so damn stubborn Michael?" He growled, eyes narrowed in an uncharacteristic glare. Michael didn't like the way the glare twisted Gabriel's features. He was much too cute for anger. "Because you are being stupid. Put down the weapon Gabe--" He felt the dagger cut into his neck, the cold steel stinging the exposed skin to his displeasure. "I will not...Not till you swear that you'll be loyal to the goddess's cause." Gabriel warned, his voice soft but deadly. Michael knew Gabriel was in there somewhere, that deep down the goddess's control could not block everything the little angel felt for him. Somehow he had to reach that Gabriel past this...it was his only way to survive. Michael's eyebrows furrowed, his look hardening to a stubborn glare. "No." Gabriel's eyes widened, blinking at Michael as if he couldn't believe it. Michael tilted his head, letting the blade knick him a little deeper to prove a point. "So what are you going to do? Kill me, Gabriel? Is that it? Well go ahead..."" He met Gabriel's eyes with a steady look, his relaxed frame showing he wasn't scared of Gabriel at all. Instead, he looked patient and resolved, as if ready to take whatever punishment Gabriel decided he deserved. Gabriel's hand trembled and Michael saw a look come over Gabriel's face that was almost sorrowful. He lowered the dagger suddenly, grabbing his head in what seemed to be effort to block out something. Michael saw Gabriel was struggling, even though he found relief in the fact that Gabriel hadn't killed him. "Gabe..." He said, drawing Gabriel to look at him. His look was conflicted and torn, as if something inside of him was not making sense. Michael knew that until this was over Gabriel couldn't be the same. That meant he needed to be dealt with before he hurt himself or someone else they cared about. With a hard strategic punch, Michael nailed Gabriel in the head, knocking the poor angel out cold. Gabriel slumped into his waiting arms, Michael cradling him close in an effort to soothe him. He was sure to have a nasty knot on his head after that hit, no doubt a headache for a while too. An angry shout made Michael tense, his wings standing on ends when the atmosphere around him felt charged with an unnatural energy. The barrier around the goddess spiraled out of control, her frame getting lost in the swirling chaos, he jumped back from the barrier, keeping Gabriel shielded from the bright light as the barrier turned a deep red and the sky began to crack and thunder from energy. "Traitorous children! How dare you defy me! I will have my justice on this world." She hissed, her voice multilevel and wrathful. Lightning struck a nearby building, the fragments scattering around the city and to the running human's below. People screamed and cowered, feeling the pressure of her power pushing them all into submission. Even Michael felt the lead weighted feeling, forcing him down into a protecting stance over Gabriel. Whatever happened, the goddesss was good and angry over it. He could only assume Ays and Lian stopped Twila...

As soon as the girl touched the sword- it got hot- her wound searing hot- it was blinding but she did her best not to cry out having endured worse under then un-father. The light bright and hot, she did her best to stay still as the girl pulled the sword that was stuck in her body out- slowly like it was punishment- but she accepted that- she deserved it honestly. The child had been right- she had been content until she found one one better- then she left- and again it went from one to the next- but when some one needed you, she tended to go, she felt like they were children who needed help. When it was finally done, her body shaking in pain as she stood- slowly the hole healing quickly as if welcoming her back into its' body she smiled touching her own face finally. Her tattoos slowly slivered their way to her skin, her eyes changing to a pretty blue instead of a dark purple, her skin not deathly pale any longer- but still pale to a human. Long black hair was soon to follow, a hand raising to meet another demon- Genie- of all demons was there handing her metal and picks for her hair. She gladly took them and replaced them as they once went with a smile- patting Genie on the cheek. " Thank you. Its good to see the rest of the troops came topside. Now should we really get this party started?" She asked with a smile to Genie then glanced over at Lian who looked odd amidst some Demons where were cautious around him since he had the sword in hand looking unhappy. Before heading over there Ays made it very clear who was to be left alone. "If any of you touch that angel- its' sword or this one- I will rip you apart layer per layer with lye and sunlight for as long as it takes- if you breath on them I will give you to the father instead." she stated making he demons around them take more then a few steps away from both angels. On her way over to Lian she extended her hand in a kind gesture to him, a soft look on her pretty face. "We will not harm you, However you-" She had began speaking but Lian stood up and spoke over her with a quirked smile at her, happy that she got her body back. " Keep the sword from both entities. I know. I am happy for you Ays. Lady Kamael will be pleased for you as well." he said sounding a little distant but his words were soft none the less. She nodded to him and dropped her hand since he didn't need help it seemed. He gave her a bow before heading off, pushing off the ground into the air and leaving the area quickly, the thunder and lightening making it darker out. Turning around she noticed that more and more demons were there- the night owls were out and she hadn't ever noticed how many of them there were- however what surprised her was that Jack was there and he was fawning over his little angel who was passed out. She looked beat up a bit, however her arms were clear of those marks that he had done his best to not ask about. He brushed some hair from her face and smiled at her, thinking she had done a good job however when another vampire got close to Twila he gave them a glare that sent them skittering away. Ays frowned at him since he was supposed to be with un father right now- he wasn't to be left unattended ever. "I only needed to see her- only a second- hes asleep..after that conversation I head- I had to come." He stated his piece quickly before she could even speak to him before he gave her a soft kiss on the fore head then picked her up, moving her out of the horde of demons knowing that wasn't his preferred place for her to be. Had she been awake he would have taken her down bellow with him, however she wasn't so she couldn't consent properly- not wanting to risk anything he decided it was best to take her somewhere she would remember. He ran there- not wanting to deal with flying in a storm- especially one that was brought on by an angry god. Taking her to colton's old home he noticed a few cowering angels near there so eh did the next best thing- took her around the back and into the basement. His old room was safe- even turning on a light for her, if she woke she would get the idea of where she was. He tucked her into the blankets there in his chair that was extended to sleep on and sighed. Jack didn't want to leave but knew he had to. Finally deciding to slip into the house and get paper and pen he wrote her a quick note saying he had been there and was glad she was safe, he had to go back to finish his part in that deal. saying he would return when possible and to be safe. He left it there with her, knowing she would find it, he did however give her a kiss before leaving, feeling weird with her sleeping there with out him. --------------- Back down bellow he went back into the private chambers of the child and found he was still sleeping however his little bed was covered in black blood- seemingly dripping from the ceiling-which he found creepy. He went and took a seat by the bed and waited for him to wake now, but he seemed to really be sleeping- oddly- the blood taking its time to slowly absorb back into the body. ------------- Ays watched Jack disappear with the angel and shook her head before looking back towards the plaza where the main threat was. She made a quick plan for the troops before sending them out to get the angels- to lower her task forces to force her use more of her power. She had a general idea of how the goddess worked form her time with Kamael, thankfully now for that time.

The storm was raging and the feelings of the angels were swept into a violent sort of conflict. They watched their bretheren getting slaughtered by demons and saw the scared looks on the humans faces. For some of the older angels this chaos was confusing and unrelated to their creation. Weren't they supposed to be messengers of good will and service the goddess for the maintaining of mankind? The newer angels created for this conflict were a bit more blood thirsty and fought without much recognition for the harm they were causing. The unsure tried to flock to the park to ask the goddess for guidance but were only shunned by her fury and anger. It created a separation in the ranks that was clearly harming rather than helping them. Michael was in the process of moving Gabriel out of the way of a wave of frightened humans when David approached him, quite a few angels at his back. Michael tensed, his body language showing enough aggression to warrant the angels to stay far away from him or risk losing an limb. "Michael, calm. We are not here to harm you or Gabriel. We are simply collecting those that feel as though this is a foolish errand." David said, approaching with hands raised in a sign of innocence and non evil intent. Michael knew David wasn't a master trickster or liar. He was too studious and OCD for that. Michael eased, but held Gabriel still and didn't make a move to be friendly to David. "What do you want of me? I was labeled a traitor by Belethor--" "Bel is dead. His men retreated to my aid as those in my care are withdrawing from the fight. All that stands are Raphael's band of bloody soldiers. They are more similar to the demons that are wiping us out in large hordes. We cannot continue to fight. It is why we are gathering those that wish to return skyward...To spare at least some that believe the goddess's errand has failed and would rather seek her wrath than have it at the hands of the demons. I need you to help gather them from those caught in the fighting that cannot readily leave. At least allow them to fall back safely." Michael listened to David talk, but his eyes wandered to the wide eyed angels behind him. They cowered, like scared mice behind the only shepherd they had. Some looked stronger than others, but there was an obvious fear in them and disgust in themselves that was evident. Some were bloody from blood not their own, some filthy from fire and debris, others looked injured and trembled some from demon attacks. They were all preparing to leave this field in favor of what was right. To abandon this assault was treason to the goddess, but they were ready to face that, even though the offense would not go unpunished. Michael nodded, his breathing eased as he thought hard about his task. He needed to help in any way he could, if it meant the survival of at least some of his brethren. He handed Gabriel to David and disappeared in a flash of light, appearing in the fray of the battle next to a few angels that were being batted around by a pride demon. He pulled a sword from the corpse of a demon and lashed out at the demon, hoping to at least spare the angels an ability to get the heck out of there. Raphael watched the mess unfold and quirked a brow at the sight of Michael fighting with a demon. Seems his lover was either dead or he was up to something. She knew by the sky that the goddess was angry, so she sought to please her by destroying this demon horde or die trying...

Oh what fun this was, Prudence was having fun actually using her new power against these angels. She didn't have the opportunity before but now with her new rank- she was loving it. The Angels would attack her only to have it clang off in her hell metal armor since she didn't often use weapons in that form. However when she came face to face with an angel she ahd heard about, even had a face for, she dropped out of her form- colliding her staff with the sword he had grabbed it seemed. His blade caught the staff and she paused looking at him. "I do not remember your name, however Jack instructed me to watch out for you. If you are here it is time to move to the next phase." She spoke easily to let him know she knew Jack and was on his side. She whistled only to have another pride demons- slightly smaller then herself come over to her side in an instant, her looked the angel over almost disappointed. "Your smaller then I expected. Jack made you sound like a giant...shame." He said sounding actually disappointed. Prudence rolled her eyes and moved her staff away from Michael- swatting him with it. Easton batted it away with a smile, knowing she was fine with his jokes. "Get Bly and the others. Its time to move on." She said easily to him making him nod, "About time. Killing angels is only so much fun." He said before slipping through a hole in the horde. Prudence hissed at a few demons' too close and they scattered backwards form her, it was more obvious now when more generals came closer to them, Genie was first to come threw the small wall. "OH- Michael, good to see you again. Great party..." Genie joked since it was Jack and Twila's fault essentially and they both knew this. Her attention went to Prudence who nodded to her, before glancing as the twins came through and for once it was intimidating to her, her brother wasn't a noisy thing- he was massive and the sister was small- sitting there quietly a smile on her lips.

Michael was in the process of fighting when suddenly the pride demon transformed into a female with a staff. Even in all the war and chaos, she was meticulously kept and looked rather lovely despite the fact that she was a hell spawn. He tensed when she said she knew him from Jack and that there was some next phase meant to be done. He blinked his blade still in hand as she pulled away from him to summon a few more demons. He looked over the demons that approached and gave them all wide area to make sure he could watch them for signs that this was a joke or an attack. The male's comment about his height made Michael's wings raise in an aggressive display, his angelic pride showing off that he may not have been the imposing demon height but he could still tear someone limb from limb. When the female told the male that they were moving on, Michael looked confused and wanted to ask a question or two. Instead he saw a familiar demon approach and gave Genie a smirk at her comment. "War and panic. My kind of fun." He said to her, which only drew a few angels still sticking around away from him. He looked back at a few of them that remained and gave an angry look. He must have looked odd conversing with a demon but he hardly gave a hell at this point. "I have no time for gawking idiots. If you value your lives, go join David and get out of the way." He barked, making the angels scamper away since they knew Michael wasn't kidding. He never joked, let alone smiled around his recruits. He huffed and looked to Genie and raised a brow at her. "So this next phase Pride spoke of? I assume you are involved?" He asked then looked at the massive being aprroaching with a little girl. "And you as well?" He added more as an after thought. He wasn't sure if this was a friendly meeting or not. He wasn't even sure what the demons position in all this was at this point.

The girl smiled down at Michael and nodded. "War and panic is indeed fun." She giggled before sitting quietly waiting for what came next. There were still waiting honestly for Bly and a few others however it seemed they were pretty spread out however a large beast came into the small clearing wrapping itself about the twins though not in a hostile way. A woman with feather and fur armor sat on the beast looking lazily at them thought when a demon got close she made a face that would mirror some one who had their favorite thing stolen- pissed off. The little girl gave her a wave but didn't speak getting a look from the woman who didn't seem to want to do much. Her eyes rolled to Genie then to Prudence who gave her a dismissive look in return. There were a few screams when a demon with glowing red arms and white hair crashed threw the demon wall killing a demon with a heavy blow from his weapons. Landing next to him from flight was Dariell who looked pleased with this meeting so far. She glanced over at Michael and gave him a smile. "Good to see you again. I do hope that sword served you well." She stated befroe looking to Bly as he flexed his arms, causing the blue markings in his skin to spread up farther the red of the heat growing and seeping up his arm but he relaxed and looked at Michael, a dull look on his face before he spoke. "Good we are all here- Greetings, Now Phase two as Jack had explained it. We avoid killing who we can- curve the horde- try to persuade it back with what influence we have but only AFTER we make the angels retreat. Now retreat doesn't mean kill or eat." he said turning to the twins and the woman on the beast. "Sehrin won't relent. Not when she ahd something to stab so take that away and she will go back. " Dariell chimed in getting a nod from Genie was holding up a finger to count looking next to Jerhine. "If she is given the option she will leave on her own, we sloth demons don't honestly care enough. I'm only here because the father said so." She stated letting them know that they didn't care to be here. An nod, Genie looked at Bly who rose a brow. " She is local to the horde- if its best she will go." The twins frowned then having been quiet while the others spoke." Mein won't leave. He will die trying to win this- even if there is no game to win." She stated letting them know they would have a demon problem should they wait too long.

Michael found it a little odd that he was holding council with a group of demons, listening to them discuss troop movements and battle strategy against their generals so that angels could retreat. It was odd to hear that they were giving them a chance at retreat, but he was accepting it at the moment, not questioning it since it would only bring problems. Michael actually gave Dariell a nod in response to her greeting, his knowledge that the sword was currently with David and hopefully a lucid Gabriel somewhere. He listened to talks of them needing to push back demons and get angels out of the way and he was willing to help with that. "I am working to get as many out of the way as will follow. Some are loyal to Raphael however and refuse to leave. They are...sadly beyond any help unless she is dealt with." He said, knowing Raphael was a prominent figure in the Council that most angels trusted. Those that were fiercely loyal would not bend to him and were usually the newer angels and academics. ~~~ Twila felt her mind wander from plane to plane, her body in a cold state between conscious and nothingness. She felt drained, her body so heavy that it felt more like lead compared to her lighter soul. And how her soul decided to rise above its bonds to the physical dwelling and actually reach out to her. She could feel a collection of beings there, ones that had come together to create her as she was to others, her physical being crafted from these souls that were carefully chosen to become an angel. Most were unfamiliar from what she could feel, but one actually pulled at her sense of familiarity. It was a younger soul, much younger than what Twila identified herself as, and was more energetic and bright than Twila felt at the moment. "So you came back to visit?" Twila turned and found the small spirit was there in all the darkness of her mind, her bouncing brown ringlets falling to her waist with a bright purple bow holding them away from the child's face. She looked almost at peace, standing at Twila's side with the music box in her hand that Jack had given to Twila. Twila gave the little girl a smile, her hand absent mindedly brushing a curl behind the girl's ear. "Not intentionally. I am very tired at the moment it seems." Twila said as the little girl leaned against, an almost sad looking coming to her face. She was tearing up, looking a bit upset over something that Twila couldn't really register. "We did bad things...Our friends may not like that..." The little girl whispered, her eyes going to Twila with a certain questioning that hinted at it being worry that brought the tears on. Twila tensed a little and shook her head, her eyes falling on the music box in the girl's hands. She knelt down, taking the girl's hands in hers. "No no, our friends are there to help us. And Jack...Jack would never stop loving us no matter what happened." The little girl nodded at the sentiment, though she looked a little unsure. "And the nice angel that saved me? You call him mentor..." "He will always be my mentor. No matter what form he is in." The little girl watched Twila smile and a smile came to her own face. She leapt at Twila in a hug, making Twila feel a certain sense of lightness in herself one that made her feel almost...warmer in a way. She was able to soothe her soul's worry no doubt and it was repaying her with what little energy it had left.

Bly glanced over at the twins and nodded understanding since Mein wasn't one to joke around with orders. "Do you know his location?" He asked in a quiet tone before looking over to Michael. "Feel like taking on another Glutton? jack has spoken on how you took-" Bly was interrupted by the twins moving much closer to him- simply stepping over the beast in an un natural movement. "HIM? Hes the angel we are supposed to be supporting?" The girls asked her voice higher pitched. Bly nodded to Seh, knowing she wasn't happy about that, she liked a leading female roll but she was going to have to gt over it. "Yes, He killed the last general, now-We have Mein to contend with, then curbing Sehrin- this Rafael is a problem we need to eliminate- what about the nut cases?" He asked looking to Genie about her subordinate and his other half. Genie pursed her lips. "I hope its already dead." She stated distastefully getting a smile from a few other demons. "Well Istas will be leading in Jack's absence, not a good idea. As for Diaz- he is laying low on my command. We spider demons don't like to share fields." She stated blandly though at the end she sounded like she might find him a take his head off herself. Prudence frowned but looked to have an idea before speaking up, moving some of her hair back over she shoulder. "What about her second?" She asked making it sound like a common sense answer. The others gave her an odd look," what second? She is the second." Genie stated looking a little lost. The Pride demon frowned at her," Innfransites...He is Jacks' little underling, he smells like him to- meaning they did a blood ritual." She stated making it sound like they were just stupid. That news made Bly smile. "Never met the runt- but we can use that to our advantage. Some one grab him-Arch Angel Michael, please follow the Twins- they will escort you to your current target Mein- Knowledge Glutton. Dariell go with him- Prudence take on the area Sehrin is in- curb her back to the horde. Genie- target Istas- delay her if possible, let me know if she is a problem. Also Keep Diaz under your thumb- if not- kill him. Easton-" eh said taking a pause from his order giving to turn to look at him. "You get Catar. Take Jerhine with you." He let out a breath before focusing himself looking around wondering what he was missing now. Genie raised a brow at Bly wondering what he was going to do," And what about you Bly? What are you going to do? Sit here and cower?" She asked in a snide way after being ordered around. Bly looked over his shoulder at Genie and smiled at her," I'm going to find this Rafael." He said before taking off at a sprint to get to higher ground to see where this angel could be.

When this Bly began speaking and taking charge, Michael stepped back and let him speak. He caught a sight of the demons auras and could sense they were all powerful beings that could do a number on this group and others. It seemed as though they weren't all really in consensus of leaving, that some were persisting in this fight despite the knowledge that the angels were retreating. He listened to Bly's offer, his own interest peeked at the idea of fighting yet another demon general. He missed the powerful kills...His pride showed when the female demon questioned if it was him that Jack wanted to support, his chin raised and stance showing he was not intimidated, let alone caring how a demon appraised him. He looked back to Bly when he began speaking more, the demons convening about who would do what task and the best way to approach these demons. Michael found it odd to be dealing with demons in this way, actually having their permission to fight one of their own. It was strange but he let it go in favor of seeing how this played out. Those he cared about were safe for now and he would see that this ended to the best they all could survive...Bly's response to Genie, telling her he was going after Rafael made Michael's brow raise. He did realize that Rafael was a very old angel, younger than the originals, but even older than Michael and the creation of the council. Little was known about her, only that she was a cruel angel despite being a healer. She had no soul some said, that it was ripped from her as a punishment. He wasn't sure what to believe, only that he was the angel of protection and even he had reserves about tangling with her. ~~~ Rafael stood on her perch of a few killed demons, her eyes flicking to the angels left in her control. Useless little lambs for the slaughter...She had seen this before, watched those under her control fall and she stood paramount and powerful. She paid for her sin of pride, such that she couldn't feel a thing...not even a sliver of humanity in her. It made her undesirable as one of her species, despite her ability of healing. Even the Fallen wouldn't accept her--well that was due to past aggression and betrayal they felt toward her. She hated them all anyways. The only one that mattered already cast her aside when it was discovered she had no humanity left. Why not fit the bill of the spiteful, cold bitch if that was what the goddess wanted? She walked from her little perch, her perfectly white wings matching with the rest of her pale frame that was spattered with gore from killing humans and demons alike. She turned when she sensed a darker aura near her own, her eyes narrowing critically at the demon that was on the rooftops. It was stronger than the little hellspawn she had dealt with. This one would at least be interesting...

Seh pursed her lips but did as she was told since she knew it was already a solid plan and any of their tinkering would only mess it up. She motioned for Michael to follow as she moved towards the western area however as Rin walked the demons moved, he did however offer a hand for Michael to ride on. If the demons' got a snap at him then they couldn't watch him take on Mein- that would be no fun at all. As they approached it was obvious they were on a new war front by the smell of blood and char. Glancing about they heard a voice however it was muttering in an almost unintelligible voice before there was a name called. "Oh General Mein! Hey-Mr. No fun pants!" Seh called in a shrill voice having Rin already put Michael down to be less obvious. Mein turned about to look at them, blood about their being in a small vortex of power. The skull like appearance not a shocker to the twins as they had seen him before- but only once and he was very angry. He had odd new bones coming from his body, the color of blood crystals. Two large black wings were from his back as he flapped them absentmindedly to stay in the air- only the blood from his kills came to him- like a vacuum. A large orb in hand he simply looked in their direction and that made their skin crawl. Dariell smiled over at them coming to a landing in front of the twins. "Hiya Mein! I see your having a lot of fun! I'm almost jealous." She said in a friendly tone heading over to them, like nothing was an issue. He simply flapped his wings and glanced at them wondering what they were up to. "I thought you might be looking for a challenge so I thought to myself that since I know you like a good challenge I went out of my way and got you an angel's general! Aren't you happy? Yeah you look pleased." She rambled on however Mein's expression much less body changed from simply being there. "Now be nice- this angel is my good friend. He humors my conversation and questions- I'm sure you can understand wanting more knowledge right? So no killing it." She said as she patted him on the foot, getting some blood on her hands but Mein didn't seem to notice the contact or so it seemed. Mein landed and moved closer to Dariell, his skull like face moved closer to hers, to her ear and whispered his words since they were too soft to speak clearly. "Of course you can spar with him silly. After that I'm sure we can get back to the war. hey Michael! He is ready to play now." She said before giving Mein a light kiss on the cheek and skipping back over towards the twins, giving Michael a smirk. ---------------------------------------------------------- Prudence nodded and slipped off into the horde knowing she was going to have fun convincing the stabbing psychopath back to the main group.Finding her easy enough, she had a pocket around her where there were dead bodies- however shew as having a ball stabbing an angel's corpse at the moment- it was long dead- nearly in half with the stabs but it pleased the demon- each were odd like that. " Sehrin, Your orders are to return to the main horde- I'm sure you can assume-" Prudence was cut off by Sehrin looking at her and speaking, which was odd. "I can only assume that dolt Dariell isn't paying attention t things and I can't have fun while she is being stupid else where." Prudence hadn't been expecting that comment but she took it for the opening she needed. "Indeed. Father stated we stand by- you need to be with your troops- I will find Dariell for you- so go enjoy keeping them in line." She said insinuating for her to go stab her own demons which made the demon smile and leave. That was almost to easy so she decided to help Jerhine and Easton, knowing Catar could be a hand full. ------------- Genie was muttering darkly as she went after her target however finding her her with her troops was a bit off. They looked a bit off however that was when she noticed it was day light- they usually slept during the day. They all looked equally tired and crabby, which made she smirk. As she got closer she did indeed smell Jack faintly from an underling that was by Istas looking bored like herself. "Genie- can we leave now? They are retreating and its hot out." She grumbled as a child would getting a frown from Innfransites. "The father asked us to be present should we be needed." Genie took that moment to interrupt them, "The father has made it clear to me that its time for you to head back- get soem sleep. You look tired." Most the vampires looked at Genie and knew her and that she was usually right so none wasted time in going bellow to crawl back into bed since they were all tired and it was hot to them. innfransites was the last to leave giving her a hard look, before turning it to a smile and leaving her to it- leaving a rather large clearing on the field. She did her next project and found that when Istas left so did Diaz- having to be on the same plane it seemed, she was alright with that. ---------------------------------------------------- When she arrived Jerhine looked to be asleep and Easton and Catar were arguing like children. Rolling her eyes she smacked both of them in the back of their heads with her staff before pursing her lips. "Catar- go bellow, wait for my orders- Easton go with him. I'm done listening to you both argue. Now get gone." She stated getting a dirty look but Catar and Easton both left- Easton however knew it was part of the plan. Jerhine's eyes lazily opened and looked at her and gave her a slow blink before falling into a black shroud of smoke that meant she went as well- her part done. Prudence stayed and curbed a bit more of the horde actually going as far as to say they could leave some of course jumped at the opportunity but others were reluctant. ------------------------------------------------- He made it to a roof top only to spot the angel in a small area with bodies about them, which made him smile, before dropping to the ground by them- not in reach however. He gave her a soft smile that was almost coy. "I'm jealous you have been having so much fun over here with out me Rafael. I'm sure killing lesser beings isn't as fun as it could be." He said mentioning the humans and the lesser demons. Her white robe was odd but he didn't mind since his own jacket was black- talk about symbolic he smirked at his own joke. "I wonder- if I wear a white jacket can I see the gore better? It might work at intimidating my foes- perhaps I should switch to lighter colors- maybe a pastel? What would you recommend?" He asked more of a joke as he looked about taking in the damage. Nothing he couldn't handle here it seemed- This angel was a little off from others- so he was almost excited for a fun challenge.

Michael knew this situation was off and wrong in someways. He was working with the same creatures that for eons slaughtered his brothers. They were the very thing that he hated and he was helping them--but they were helping him. This mutual exchange wouldn't last forever. That he was sure of...but for those he cared about he would survive this for as long as it took. The demons were the only way to come out of this alive. Ays assured him of that. When they approached the creature that was Mein, Micheal's body felt the pleasurable spike of power in the air. The portion of him made from a demonic soul got its thrill off of the gore and promise of a good fight. And one with this beast was going to be interesting to say the least. However Darielle dampened that fighting spirit when she suddenly started speaking with the thing like it was her best girl friend. It was surprising honestly, almost something Twila might do. He blinked slowly, watching the two demons interact and gave an annoyed sort of look at the back and forth. Couldn't he just kill the thing and be done with it? Genie said it had to go so that the angels could retreat. Michael was there to see it happen, mostly so he could get back to the heavens to regroup and fix this mess. When Darriell told him that Mein would play, he shook his head at her, rolling his eyes. "Right, sure." He said before his wings flexed out, getting in a good stretch before grabbed the sword at his side for good measure. He threw his weight behind an attack at Mein's leg, his strikes very powerful but this was mostly a test to see what he was working with. While Kamael taught him to hit hard the first time, always, Sariel was a bit more tactical in his training and fighting methods. ~~~~ Rafael looked unamused when Bly joined her, though Rafael had a perpetual emotionless look that hinted at resting bitch face quite often. She stood very still, only allowing her head to crane in the demon's direction. Her white wings rather suddenly shook off, allowing the wet gore to shake from them, making them clean once more. She hated dirty things and she was no exception to the distaste for gore all angels shared. But killing things fascinated her in a weird way. She was never a violent angel when she was whole. She rather liked to heal and make things better again. But her closest and only friend showed her what death really was. Since then she was curious about the process and the odd bits and liquids that came out of the carcasses. She rather liked observing the bloody streets now, fancying them to look like the human arteries. "Not many can pull off white. You aren't one of them." She told the demon in a feminine sounding level voice, that hinted at neither insult nor humor. She turned to face Bly properly, mostly to get a better look at him. She could sense his aura and practically smell the sin coming off of him. He was a new Demon of rank. She could sense it on him and knew from experience that the recent Envy demon had passed thanks to Michael. "You are an Envy demon." She tilted her head, her expression void of so much as a twitch. She watched him, waiting for a snappy comment or for him to attack. "I wonder if you will die the same as your predecessor...all over a frivolous cause?" She asked, intentionally trying to push buttons here and there to see what this thing was capable of.

The attack was anticipated, a blood shield, the blood covering his legs took the hit completely and deflected the hit easily, making Mein simply look at the large angel there by him. He was unimpressed but he moved his hands, finger tips barely touching the light orb in his hands as it twirled faster, making the blood move faster as he got closer to Michael, using the blood around him as a blade- well lots of blades slashing at him. Michael did well to get out of the way fast enough. Mein thought this was an interesting test, though he figured this angel wasn't going to be playing- expectedly after the first hit so he was playing for keeps. ~~~~ At the response he knew he was going to like this angel, she was literal and very snide- he liked that. He felt a little exposed when she looked him over and told him what he obviously already knew. "Ah you caught me, I am indeed an envy demon. And about this cause, I never knew the original Envy demon but I know of others who do, they speak terribly of them, its sweet really. However I share my rank-so we don't get too spoiled here on this plane- unlike you angels." he said avoiding her little answer since she had questioned him over something he didn't care for. He needed to get a better feel for her since he did better in battle then in conversation- he just wanted to get soem humor out of this first. Not many in hell humored him except Jack and Dariell.

Michael watched the blood respond to Mein and shield him like a living barrier. It made Michael git his teeth in aggression and move back. The blood began to react funny due to Mein's use of that orb, making Michael's feather's sleek in preparation to get the hell out of the way when the blood began whipping into a frenzy. Even for his size, Michael was quicker on his feet than he looked and was able to avoid the strikes with some grace. One line of blood nicked some of his hair, slicing it cleanly as if it were nothing more than a breeze passed by. That meant this shit was dangerous, enough so that it seemed Mein wasn't dumb enough to believe this was 'sparring'. He gave Mein a smirk, his humor better now that his lover was out of the way, Twila was safe and their plan to thwart this distraction was underway. "My lover will be pissed about that close call, even if this is a little friendly competition." He called to the large demon, enjoying the fact that he was getting to fight a high level being. His eyes took in the orb and inside his mind he plotted the best way to handle this. Rid them of the orb and Mein would lose the blood blades at least. The problem was getting past that barrier without getting shredded. His wings pushed him off the ground, using the momentum to throw himself over the being and the blood blades. He felt one bite into his wing, but knew it was a small price to pay for at least getting a shot at the demon's hands, which he took with a fluid lash of the sword. ~~~ Rafael's eyes narrowed at his sarcastic response, though her expression stayed deadpan serious. "To be spoiled you must be aware of what you are given. We simply serve a divine purpose....You demons are always so double sided with your words. Such vipers..." She drew a rather small and odd set of daggers from her robes. The hilt and grip were made of gold and the blades were clear, like ice though they were made of a special material called skyglass. It was light weight, hard to see, especially from a distances, and cut in thin clean lines. They were not to be taken lightly, especially because they were hard to break and dangerous when used properly. Aslo, well, Rafael had her own secret methods when using them. "I've heard before that demons only understand violence. That they prefer gore to idle chatter. Is that true?" She tossed a dagger in his direction, almost as effortlessly as a flick of her wrist. It hurdled with an incredible speed at him, though she assumed this demon was no push over and could find a way to make things harder for her than just dying by such a simple move.
