He smiled at Alysia's response to his words. Though he then remembered that she might not know exactly what he was talking about. The satyr he was talking about was the male equivalent of a nymph though she may not have heard of them. Well he would leave her to think what she would of it as he was sure that at some point in time they would come across one. That is if they actually became friends and Eris allowed Destirel to take her places. She had the blood of a god in her veins after all. She should be allowed to see the world from that perspective and not that of a mortals.
When she asked if he was coming, Destirel stepped behind her. "Of course." He responded and began to follow her towards her dorm. He found it somewhat interesting though to be honest it wasn't all that surprising that she lived in the dorms. After all she had been kept from her heritage and not shown how to control her powers. Then a thought crossed his mind and he pulled a small and plainly bound book out of his pocket. He willed the enchantment in the book to bring forth information on various creatures that lived out of the sight of mortals.
"Here, I think you might find this interesting." He said, and held it out to Alysia as he got into stride next to her. It was a white book and as of now the cover was blank. He didn't mention though that it held more information in it than could ever fit on the pages. A little charm from Hecate and he could input any information he wanted in it. All it took was a little will power to change the information on the page though Destirel wasn't sure if she had that kind of power. "Just make sure to give it back to me by tomorrow alright." He flashed her a smiled and then faced the slight breeze that was blowing. He did love the wind after all.

Alysia felt more confident around Destirel. As they walked toward her dorm she sneak a quick look at him before continuing onto the girls dorm. " Everyone is at class now so we should be okay. " Okay truth be told she really hated getting into trouble. Realising she'd walking to fast lost in her thoughts she slowed down her pace walking beside him. " Oh?" Taking the white book she inspected the white cover. " Thankyou." She spoke softly. Holding the book tightly she gave a quick nod. " Okay I'll read it tonight and give it back to you in the morning. "
As they reached her part of the dorm she hesitated at her bedroom door. What if Eris was there. Frowning she opened the door peeking it quickly. " She's not there. " Unable to hide the relief in her tone of voice she entered the room. " You can come in..." Not really bothering to check if he followed her into the room she headed straight to her wardrobe. Not one to care for her appearance she grabbed the closest pair of jeans and top. " Two seconds. " Darting into the bathroom she changed quickly happy to be rid of the horrid school uniform. Emerging from the bathroom she held the book lightly in her hand for a second before scanning the room. " Hmm." Somewhere Eris wouldn't look. Kneeling down she pulled out her violin case quickly, gently placing the book down before locking it back up. Standing up she she smoothed out her shirt. In the confides of her room she felt even more at ease. Closing her eyes she removed the glamor she used to slightly alter her appearance. It wasn't much of a change her skin was a tad paler, her hair that slight bit shinier yet her eyes. Freakishly gold before but now they glowed. Shyly she opened her eyes to look at Destirel. " No glamour..." Her mother detested the colour of her eyes, it remind her to much of the sun and anything connected with the god Apollo was off limits. Eris just teased her about her ' cat eyes ' " Don't think ill of Eris nor my mother. My eyes ultimately give away who's child I am."

Destirel just nodded his head when they got to her room. He stepped inside after her, casually glancing about. He wasn't worried about being caught. He rarely was. The only time he worried about something as trivial as that was if he was sneaking into Hecate's workroom without permission or doing something he wasn't while his father was in a bad mood. Although Hecate didn't quite live down in the underworld, she was there the majority of the time. Destirel believed it was because she took care of him as a child and he was thankful for it though he often wondered why she spent so much time with him.
After Alysia had changed, Destirel, looked her over. She looked quite cute in her outfit though she hadn't really picked out anything special. Watching her hide away his book in a violin case, he remembered the other day he had heard the most marvelous sounding music. He was going to ask her if that could have been her but he stood with his mouth parted as she removed the glamor she had placed on herself. He didn't say anything for a moment, but stared at her eyes. Although it seemed like very little had changed but the small amount that had, made a big difference.
Cheeks slightly pink from embarrassment, something he tended not to feel all that often, Destirel smiled. His own eyes now were the color of oxidized copper. He wasn't angry, now was he using his powers. He was feeling a different emotion but it was strong enough that it caused his eye color to change. Smiling, he rubbed the back of his head. "I don't know how I couldn't feel ill towards them for although your eyes mark you as your father's daughter..." He paused, looking away for a moment but then he stared directly into her own eyes. "I don't know why they would want to hide something so beautiful." He was quite blunt about it but he was being quite honest.
He found her even more attractive. Her eyes looked like two small blazing suns made out of molten gold. He did realize after he said it that she might not act so comfortable around him again. "I am sorry. That was out of line." He then said, his voice sounding slightly timid as he looked away. Destirel was not one to usually care what others thought about his actions or words but for some reason, he wanted his relationship to improve with Alysia. She was a child of the gods like himself and he felt drawn to her. He wanted to help her become accustomed to the world that she belonged in and if she chose to help him in his goals along the way than that would be even better. But either way, he was excited to have found someone similar to him.

Perhaps it was a mistake showing Destirel her true appearance. Feeling embarrassed she gazed intently down at the ground at least that way he wouldn't see her eyes. Curse her father for having given her such horrid things. Maybe she should have kept her glamor up. Lost in her thoughts she raised her head his words captured her attention as she shyly peered up into kestrel's eyes. Why did Eris and her mother hide her? It was simple enough the issue was Hera. As far as anyone was concerned she didn't exist, showing her eyes revealed who her father was. It was simply not safe to do such a thing.
" It's okay Destirel. " With her usual shy expression and a firm blush on her cheeks she sat at the end of her bed. Why did she have to be so painfully shy and easily embarrassed.
With a soft sigh she thought over Destirel's comment shying away somewhat at his words. It was much to complicated for she herself to comprehend. Why her mother chose to hide her. Hera's curse and the fact that her eyes gave away who's child she was hardly worked in her favor" You don't know who I am. " She spoke carefully. She didn't want to be rude that wasn't her attention at all but she was still guarded in her tone of voice. " You know that Desdemona is my ancestor. You know her story...not mine."
Hands at her side she looked at him. " Hera would kill me if she could." That was the truth to the matter. No beating around the bush as she decided to tell him exactly what she knew. Even if she questioned some of the story. " Hera cursed me." Curse her nerves. Reaching up she twirl a strand of hair through her fingers. " Some of the gods know Apollo had another daughter...most of it is hush hush. " She explained. What else could she say. There was more to it obviously yet those were secrets she'd never been told.

When she looked away from him, he felt bad about his rash words though in all honestly, he didn't regret them. He kept his eyes on her though they were a little distanced now. Her words broke into his conscious and he stopped thinking about random things and listened to what she had to say. A short flash of anger erupted in him but he quelled it as quick as he could for Alysia's sake. He wasn't angry at her but at the gods and how selfish they could be.
Walking up to her, Destirel squatted down in front of Alysia. Looking up into her face he gave her a smile and pulled up the sleeve of his uniform, once more revealing the mark branded onto him by his own father. Once more he didn't look angry or bitter when looking upon it. In fact right now, he almost looked happy. "You know what this mark means." He began, not yet even hinting at what she had said. "The helm of darkness with which the wearer may become invisible. The two pronged spear, with it Hades can cause the plague or even have the earth open up for him. And then there is the key to the doors of the underworld. With it, my father keeps the restlessness dead from the realm of the land." His voice was low and it was obvious that he was trying to make a point as he pointed to the three parts as he spoke of them.
"Most people, humans and even some of the gods, believe that my father is an evil entity. The way people have viewed him has changed over the years. He has never been evil though and he is not the personification of death as many think. He is stern and has a nasty temper but he always strives for a balance between life and death. If someone tries to break this balance, he becomes angry. It is a hard job but he also seeks to impose justice on those that try and cheat death." Pausing, he pulled down his sleeve and stood, touching Alysia on the shoulder. He walked a little bit away from her and then spoke, a spark in his eyes.
"What I am trying to say is that if Hera tries to kill you...She will have to deal with the son of The Unseen'." Smirking, he stared at her exuding confidence. "And I have many more tricks up my sleeve than my father ever did." He walked to the door and leaned up against its frame. He hadn't told her that his sense of justice was stronger than that of his father and she didn't want to know what happened to murderers down under the earth. He hoped though, dearly, that his words just now wouldn't push Alysia away from him. He had practically told her that he would try and protect her from a fate that shouldn't belong to her. It wasn't something he did often but she was different. She was like him in a way.

That spark of anger coursing through Destirel made Alysia visibly cringe. Then as quick as it had come it was gone. His anger had disappeared just like that? He really was trying his best to make her comfortable. Peeking up at his face through her eye lashes she quickly tore her gaze away eyes settling onto the mark. It still gave her the creeps for reasons she couldn't quite explain. Hades wasn't evil and as far as she could tell neither was Destirel. Maybe it was just intimidation, Destirel possessed more power then she herself contained.
At his words she found herself intently studying the mark. Not pulling away from his touch she managed a brief quick nod of her head showing so far she understood what he was saying. " Why?" She finally asked. Not looking at him she raised her head staring blankly at one of the walls. " Hera wants me dead if you help me doesn't that risk exposing who you are?" Finally she turned her head to look at him her expression one of confusion. " Why would you help me though."

When she asked him why, Destirel looked away from her and at the wall. It took him a moment before he answered but when he did it was with full honesty. "Because you are like me." He did feel that way. She had it worse off than he but they were still in similar conditions, their existence not known to the general populace of gods...their existence supposed to be kept a secret. "Even though they may find out about me, I do not intend to spend my whole life living in secret. I am one of them... No we are one of them and we deserve our rightful place." His tone was quite serious and he held a passion in his voice as he spoke of it. It was something he truly believed in and wanted. It was as he had told Eris the night before. He wanted justice and he wanted those like himself and Alysia to be able to hold their heads high in Olympia without fear of the gods childish squabbles.
Looking back at Alysia, he smiled somewhat sheepishly. "How about we go and get something to eat." He offered. It wasn't that he didn't want to continue their conversation, it was that if they went any further with it, Eris would probably get mad. He wasn't going to ask Alysia for her help, not until the protective muse allowed him to. He was a man of his word after all. Destirel did wait to see her reaction and answer before leaving the room. He also was curious as to where she might want to go to get a bite to eat, though that was probably his mind trying to keep him from saying more than what was needed.

Perhaps she was being to bold in her questions. With an apologetic look Alysia awaited an answer from Destirel. Eyes wide she contemplated his words. They were similar? He was right though they were children of gods why did they not deserve the same rights as the others. Why were they kept secluded. " I wish I could just be...myself." Voice trailing of she flashed him an embarrassed smile. How did one explain her situation. Her powers...the ones she knew about she'd discovered by accident. It's not like her mother had even intended to teach her about them either. What she'd give for the chance to use them freely without consequence.
Standing up she nodded her head walking across her room to stand at his side. Now where would they eat. True there were many places near the school however she wasn't even sure what he liked to eat. Opening the bedroom door she stepped out waiting for him to follow before she locked the door.
" What do you want to eat?" She finally quearied breaking her silence as they walked out of the school grounds. " There's a few places nearby or we can go into the main part of the city."

What Destriel wanted to say when Alysia mentioned wanting to be like herself was that if he had his way, she would be able do just that. But instead, he just smiled and nodded his head. He stepped out of the room as she opened the door and contemplated her words. Wondering what would be good her turned to Alysia with a thoughtful look on his face.
"How about we go to the city. It is more crowded and there is less likely to be anybody to recognize us from the school." He thought that it was a reasonable suggestion but then came the fact that he had to figure out what he wanted to eat. He wasn't quite sure as of now, though he was hungry. "When we get there we can just pick whatever smells the best?" He offered with a questioning tone. ((Sorry its so short. Got company))

Alysia flashed Destirel a smile. " Okay the city is is then. " She agreed. As of now she was feeling quite badass. Eris was surely going to flip when she learned she'd cut class then gone to the city.Without thinking about it a small smirk appeared on her face only to disapear a second later as she continued walking.
It wasn't a long walk into the city thankfully and he was right. There was certiantly less of a risk of being caught if they went into the city. Crossing the street she peered back at the school catching one last look at the nymphs before continuing to walk. After a few blocks they reached the city. Taking a deep breathe she stepped into the main street. " I am going to be in so much trouble when we get back. " Despite her words she couldn't care less. " Let's find something to eat?"

Destirel followed Alysia, a cheerful but almost sleepy expression on his face. It really wasn't that long of a walk and he didn't mind the extra time spent with the golden eyed god child. Though he had to mentally shake himself a few times as he felt his gaze linger on her in ways that it shouldn't have. He would be the first to admit it, he liked-no loved- women. He hadn't exactly taken in the pleasures that came with getting close to them but he wasn't naive at all when it came to the topic. It also stemmed from his loneliness growing up. He dearly wished to find someone to spend his time with and be close to. Normally he would have no problem talking to a beautiful woman but for some reason when certain topics came up with Alysia, so far he had be a little shyer than normal.
As Alysia mentioned that she was going to be in trouble when she got back, Destirel smirked. "You can just blame it on me. Say I kidnapped you or make up some fantastic tale." He chuckled, getting in trouble was the least of his worries though he figured he would probably get an earful from Eris. He just felt it in his gut so of course he would have to explain himself and it most likely wasn't going to help Alysia's cause of her wanting to go and see the fire nymphs.
Looking around, Destirel spotted five restaurants off the bat. Two he crossed out automatically as they didn't look appetizing at all. "Let's see, we have an Italian based restaurant over there, a regular chain place there, and over here we have an old fashioned burger joint." He told her and pointed the three different places as he spoke of them. He really wasn't sure what to choose out of the three but he figured that Alysia might have a preference and if she saw another place that she wanted to go to than so be it, he would go there too.

Tilting her head Alysia caught Destirel's lingering looks. Why did he have to keep staring at her. She'd put the glamour back up her eyes were no longer the freakish abnormality's they were earlier. So what was it? Too shy to ask she ducked her head staring at her feet.
Feeling his eyes still lingering on her she chewed on her bottom lip thoroughly embarrassed. Embarrassed she kept her attention else where focusing on watching where she was walking. It couldn't be help how shy she was. Every time Destirel looked at her she broke out into a blush. Why did she have to be so insecure.
Eyes wide she stopped walking turning around to look at him. " I can't do that. It's not your fault." Taking in his smirk she flushed with embarrassment. " I..I asked you to get lunch with me. " She spoke shyly. Realising she was yet again blushing she quickly turned on her heels back to him as she gazed around at the restaurants. " A burger would be nice. Is that okay with you?"

Destirel chuckled some and with a smile he walked up next to her. "Put your head up and look ahead of yourself. You look so unsure. Think of your blood and be proud of it." He said softly, but not in any way that would imply that her shyness bothered him. In fact he found it somewhat cute. It was the opposite of him. He was taught to be confident in himself no matter what. It seemed to him though that Alysia had only been taught that hiding her identity was important. It felt like, to him, that Alysia hadn't been taught about self worth and being confident and happy about who you are.
"A burger sounds delightful." Destirel responded when she mentioned the burger joint. He steered himself in that direction, making sure that Alysia stayed with him. Although it was a weekday, the streets were beginning to get a little more crowded as they got further into the city. As they got closer though, the smell of cooking meat and fries permeated the air. Destirel's stomach seemed to come alive as it growled at him. Of course it would be angry with him though as he had neglected to eat breakfast this morning. He walked in the door after holding it open for Alysia herself and found that there wasn't a line to wait which was nice. "Where would you like to sit?" He questioned her with a cheerful voice.

Alysia gave a small gasp of suprise as Destirel moved to her side. At his words she glanced sadly at her feet. Why did he have to single out her shyness. " My blood?" Shyly she peered at him still not quite able to meet his gaze with confidence. Uncomfortable at having being singled out for her shyness she looked away quickly gazing at the burger bar. " But..I am unsure." She finally answered.
Dropping the subject she walked to the burger bar. Slipping in quietly she scanned the room checking to see if there was a slightly less crowded area. Taking a seat she placed her hands in her lap. It would have been easier if he'd said nothing. Now she felt timid and unsure around him once more.

Destirel sat down across from her and sighed, as he saw that she looked more uncomfortable than early. "I am sorry. I was not trying to put you down. My words had the opposite affect of what they were meant to." He gave her a smile of encouragement and leaned back into his seat. The food smelled great and his mouth was watering even though he knew the food would be unhealthy. But the worse it was for you, the better it tended to taste.
A server came quickly and Destirel ordered an orange soda and a bacon hamburger. Cheese wasn't his thing, at least not here. He would be considered a cheese snob though as the only kind he touched were specialty. He also saw that they made milkshakes here and he considered getting one but decided that if he wasn't full, he could get one for desert. After ordering, his eyes turned towards Alysia as he waited to see what she was going to get.
