More then anything Adeliyah hated uncertianty in her life. Things were meant to be organised, she wasn't meant to be left unknowingly trying to pick up the peices.
As he pointed out the secret she'd kept from him she flashed him a slightly embarrassed expression. " I didn't lie though... I didn't think it would be something you'd want to know. Especially if you knew of Marklos. Maybe I like to pretend that thing is not my father." She explained.
Turning her dark eyes onto Saxum she frowned slightly before decidedly pressing the matter. " Why don't you tell me anything about yourself?" She asked.

Of course he would think that he wouldn't care to know. He couldn't be angry with her for thinking that, she didn't know his issue with the council. Also, it was a bit ru to invite yourself of to the daughter of the alphas pack...that was a bit um...iffy so to say. Shaking his head, he shrugged his shoulders. "I wouldn't have been so forceful, though I also probably would have let the whole issue go and not have gotten involved." he admitted and glanced at her, his honey colored eyes seeming unsure.
Upon her words about himself, he looked away and didn't answer at first. He was struggling with the right words to say and how to explain himself. Without looking back at Adeliyah, he spoke slowly and softly. "It could be the death of me, if some of what I said would be heard by the wrong ears." Looking back at her, his eyes look completely lost and sad. He felt very alone right now and vulnerable. He could tell everything to her, and he wasn't sure he would care. Somthing about her nature seemed to call at him, telling him that she wouldn't betray him. If that was true, he could only trust in her. Maybe it was time to face his fate anyways, he had been running for so long.

Flashing him a guilty look Adeliyah nodded her head. " I know." She said. " Despite my continous warnings you continued to help me." She said." I apprececiate your help though, truly and I am very sorry I wasn't alltogether honest with you." She explain. " I was just a nurse giving you attitude, really..honestly I hoped when you discovered I was a wolf that it would end there. Even though I knew Sammeth wouldn't give up, I was happy to have another like myself at work." She added.
Giving him a thin lipped smile she placed her palm reassuringly onto his arm. " Saxum I am sorry again. You right anyone could be listening so this isn't the time for a conversation." Giving him a much more genuine smile she looked at him. " I am a good listener though if you ever did want to talk, if you don't trust me though that's also fair. I haven't given you any reasonings so far as to why you should trust me. I wasn't honest with you and didn't tell you I was his daughter"

Giving her a smile at her words, Saxum looked away again and took her hand, guiding her towards his place. "I owe it to you now to explain some of my actions." He decided, his voice low and a bit unsure...it was as though he was nervous but he needed to get it off of his chest. If he did, than maybe he could help Adeliyah...maybe.
"I want to trust someone." He continued, stopping he turned towards her, eyes serious. "Though if you break it, I will bring you to your father." He threatened, it was obvious he had a bit of trust issues, if she didn't want to follow him, she didn't have too.

Adeliyah laced her fingers with Saxum's as he held her hand. " You don't owe me anything Saxum." She said softly in response. If anything she should owe him. She'd dragged him into her mess.
Raising her head she looked up meeting his gaze. His threat made her pull a face some. This was emotional black mail was it not. Realising she didn't want to start an argument she nodded her head" You drive a hard deal." She said in a joking way trying to ease away some of the tension. " I am trust worthy..." She insisted. Giving him a soft smile she squeazed his hand gently. " You can talk to me I want to help you."

smirking half heatedly he just nodded his head. Adeliyah was probably in just as much danger being around him as Saxum was around her. The council wanted his head on a golden platter and even though it went against ha better jugment, he was thinking about stopping his life of running and jumping out into the open. It seemed like a semi logical thing to do, well not really, but thinking like that made him feel better.
He didn't say anything, even as they reached his place. Leading her up the stairs, he felt as though it was wrong from a moment before he shook the feeling away from him an opened the door to his living space. It was rather sparse, his entire living room containing only a well used sofa and a television, many a movie stacked next to it and on the ground, around the stand. The kitchen was to their left and a small hallway led to a bedroom and a bathroom. Shutting the door, he leading up against it, looking a bit aprehessive. "Ask me something." he told her, feeling as though that would be the best way to get started.

'Ask me anything' It posed as a simple question but Adeliyah knew not to take it in a light context. Standing still feel awkward as Saxumn leant again the apartments door her dark eyes scanned the appartment.
" Why.." She said softly. " Are you here." He continously spoke of having been an alpha, the leader of a pack. Why would someone run away from the country they were born in. She wasn't even to clear on how he'd take her question but he'd started the conversation. Surely he realised that by asking her to ask him anything she would do exactly that. " You were an alpha yes." She spoke softly. " What happened?"
