Twirling her long hair around her fingers Tillie walked behind Tony and Jesse sussing out the different shops. " So here everyday huh?" Well at least Jesse sold what she wanted. " So what else can you hook me up with Jesse if say I wanted something more fun...?" Leaving him open to interpret her words she darted into a hair shop. Perfect that's what she wanted. Grabbing some pink hair dye she handed it to the woman at the register. This would surely freak her father out.
Exiting the shop she held out her prize for the guys to see. "I figure my father will have a heartattack when he sees me with pink hair."

Colin was a little disappointed when everyone showed up besides Jesse and Tony. The fact that Jesse had a lot to lose if he got reported to the boss, not to mention he would lose a lot of his product that he sold. So maybe this wasn't so bad for Colin, if Jesse didn't have anything to sell then that meant that Tillie wouldn't want to deal with him since he couldn't supply her cause that had to be the only reason why she was talking to Jesse. "Alright well since I guess this is everyone the reason for this is because the Boss is coming at the end of the week and since two of the members bailed we have to pull double duty to make up their parts. Now I see this going one of two ways...one you guys do double the work to make it up or you get the two that are suppose to have it get their asses here and start listening" everyone looked at Colin shocked. It was rare that the Boss showed up on this short of notice but it seemed like Colin had everything under control as he normally did. That was why Colin was usually the one in charge.

Jesse smirked some catching onto what Tillie wanted. " Sure. I can set you up with anything you want." He answered. " Yeah I bet you can." Tony muttered. " Well it's been fun but...I'm going to go see what Colin is up to." Ignoring Tillie's piercing look he shrugged it off. " I'll see you tomororw at school though Til." Taking a step away from her he began to walk away. " Well okay then guess it's just Jesse and I."
Tony gave a nod of his head then took of towards the shop. Darting inside he looked at Colin. " Dude...I am not selling no shit to the chief of polices daughter. Jesse is going to get himself in some serious shit with her." At least he was now realising that. " Sorry..by the way. " He muttered. Well he could see Colin had only been trying to help him out. " She's got a pretty face..i'm a sucker for a pretty face."

Colin was surprised when he saw Tony walk into the room as was everyone else but they were relieved that they wouldn't have to make up two parts. Colin stood up and shook Tony's hand "It's alright, just glad to have you back" he sat down again and wrote out how much they would have to make up now "So that solves a little bit of the problem but you guys still need to find some way to make up Jesse's part before the boss gets here" he told them closing the books and handing them back to Carl. "From now on, no one gives anything to Jesse. I don't need to be wasting anymore product on a guy that just falls for the first piece of ass that swings his way" it was getting late and they all needed to figure out a way to make up the difference, Colin handed them each a piece of paper "That is how much more you guys are going to have to make to make up for Jesse's portion before the boss comes at the end of the week so get started on it. You guys have three days" he said and everyone headed out of the shop while Colin stayed behind for a while longer.

Tillie stopped short as her phone started buzzing as she roamed the mall by herself. She'd already ditched Jesse and started talking to another group of guys before quickly growing bored of them. " Hello father." She began sarcastically. " I suppose your grounding didn't work did it." Lazily she leant against a chair. " House arrest didn't work either. I believe i'm still meant to be in the house." As her father grew angry she only laughed. " Okay. Whatever i'll be home when i'm good and ready." With that she hung up on her father and then quickly called Matt
" So Matt. Where are you?" She asked her brother. " Walking home from Sam's." Dude Matt was seriously already making friends. " What part of don't get attached to people did you not understand. We wont be here for long." She reminded him. As he answered back she just rolled her eyes. " Oh please save the crap. I'm here to fuck up dads life as much as possible so he sends me home."
Tillie still wasn't getting it that this was her last option. Walking out of the mall she crossed the road waiting for Matt to arrive. " Well you took your time." She spoke crossly. " Hey i'm avoiding home just the same as you. If you don't want the company though I'll go check out the mall.." He threatened her. " No. I want the company. I want to talk to you." Gone was her attitude with her brother.

Before Colin got home he smoked another joint and then walked into the house. Sam was already on him asking questions "I just went to the mall and dealt with business that's all ok. I didn't do anything to Tillie" he said though he had a smile on his face as he walked in the kitchen. Their grandmother was well off to bed so he didn't worry about being caught for smoking. He pulled out the dinner she packed for him earlier and heated it up. "I can smell it on you" Sam accused and Colin just spun around with the baggie he got at Sam's eye level "What some?" He asked waving it in his face and Sam's face got really red out of anger "You know I don't anymore" "Come on brother just a little one, it'll relax the hell out of you" Sam looked at him cross "And it'll get me to do what ever you say right. Don't think I forgot about last time. Eat your food and get to bed" he said and walked upstairs to his room closing the door and locking it so his brother would leave him be.

With Matthew she dropped her tough girl act and acted like a civil human being. As they walked around the street she stopped to lean against pole. " So how long are you going to keep this up Tillie?" He asked. " You can't keep pushing away everyone. Look what it's doing to you." Shrugging her shoulders she lit up a joint. " Seriously your going to smoke that shit?" He asked. " Yep." She answered. Closing her eyes she sat down on the pavement. " I want to go home...I don't want to be here." She muttered. " Well you fucked that option up. We can't go home." Sitting down next to Tillie he sighed. " Can't you just give it a try here. Carrie isn't here to make things difficult for you either." He pointed out.
Pulling a face she realeased a sigh. " And no Samuel to push me around either. Does that mean I should automatically become an angel over night?" Pulling a face she kept smoking. " Wouldn't hurt you would it to give this place a try" Standing up Matthew grabbed Tillie by the arm. " Come on time to face the music. You can start you miracle change with Dad. Let's go deal with him."
God was he going to turn her into a pussy .Rolling her eyes she stamped out the smoke. " I'll be on house arrest then. I don't want to be grounded." Matthew burst out laughing. " Maybe you should think about the consequences before you do your stupid things." He said. " It was just a bit of funny. Not my fault no one has a sense of humour." She grumbled.
TIME SKIPIES:
Her fathers reaction in the morning had been priceless. With a giggle Tillie touched her pink hair. " You look like bubble gum." Matthew pointed out. " It makes a scene. Gets people talking." Really she thrived on being the odd one out. " Bitches are always going to talk so might as well give them something to talk about." Why had he expected she'd be anything different today. Rolling his eyes he sat down on the grass leaning against a tree as he waited for the school bell.
" You know what I miss the most. The beach. Just getting up at sunrise taking of for a surf." Closing her eyes she sighed. " Of course I don't expect you to know what that feels like. Mr I'm to cool for the beach." Giggling she snuck a look at her brother. " I wonder what their doing now.." Matthew said slowly. " Oh moment killer. " Giving Matthew an irritated expression she pulled herself to her feet. " Aren't you even in the least bit curious about home?" He asked her. " Why should I give a shit about some woman who's to drunk to look after her own children who marries some asshole because he's rich." Glaring at Matthew she pushed him hard. " But that's right. She fucking adored you didn't she." Not waiting for an answer she took of towards her locker not even sparing anyone an obnoxious comment as they stared at her.
It wasn't fair that Matthew had been the one she'd wanted. Her own mother hadn't even wanted her but had been dumped with her when their father had left. How was it fair that for your entire childhood you hear about how perfectly awesome her brother was. Saint freaking Matthew. Angrily she stood at her locker blinking her eyes as she tried not to cry.

In the morning it was no different, he woke up got locked out of the bathroom and then got harassed by his brother all the way to school. “Colin look I need to get these projects done for this scholarship I can’t help you with your revenge” Sam explained yet again in a tired tone. His brother had tried to convince him all night which resulted in neither of them getting very much sleep. “Alright look, I’ll change it a little so you won’t have to miss any school but if you could just get on Tillie’s good side for me then you won’t have to do anymore” Sam rolled his eyes, he was getting tired of hearing Colin talk about his plan and what he needed to do. “Why don’t you do it yourself?” Sam was starting to get fed up now and was about to tell his brother off “Cause I’ve already made it a point to piss her off hence yesterday” he explained to his brother and told him everything that had happened yesterday.
“Oh and by the way the boss is going to be here at the end of the week” Colin smirked and leaned up against his brother’s locker. Sam banged his headed against a locker, he had only dealt for his brother for a couple of months to help pay the bills their parent’s left after their death and now he was roped in and couldn’t get out if he wanted. That was probably his brothers plan all along to keep him under his thumb Sam realized a while back and it was probably the worst mistake he had done. Sam pushed away from the locker and looked at his brother “how about I just pay the boss and you can deal with your own problems” Sam said and just walked away from his brother to go to his class and let his brother stew on that.

Tillie walked into maths will a blank expression as she quietly scanned the group before taking a seat at the back. She hated all talks about her mother. The woman she detested more then anything but still Matthew thought she was a bloody saint. Sighing she lay her head down on the desk as she closed her eyes. She was sad now, after the spat she'd had with Matthew but rather then admitt her sadness she'd act out in class and get thrown out .Then she could go take herself of to a quiet place and cry.
While the class settled she refused to participate not even bothering to take out her books as she kept her head down on the desk and eyes closed. At the back of the classroom she could hear some of Colins group and much to her suprise Jesse. Ignoring them though and hoping Colin wasn't in her class she pulled out her Ipod " Miss Harper please remove those earphones from your ears." Pulling a face she turned up the music her hair covering her face from view. " Miss Harper I will ask you again to please off your Ipod and kindly remove your earphones while I am teaching." The man insisted. " Get fucked." She answered.
Well that certiantly worked as the mans face turned red she stood up. " And fuck your class. I've had enough of this shit already." Picking up her books she angrily stormed out of the room not caring as the teacher shouted at her. Reaching her locker she kicked out at it angrily as she blinked back tears. She hated this place. She wanted to be free of it.

Sam walked into class and took an easy breath "Normalcy" he said and found his seat near the middle and pulled out some of his books, beginning to work on things before the teacher even walked in. This was the place that he could be himself and be free. In his books no one judged him and he knew how to manipulate things to get the results he wanted. He would enjoy this day cause soon the boss would be here and he would have to figure out how to pay him or get him off his back.
Colin was about to head to class when he heard a very loud noise, he turned around the corner and saw Tillie. He had a pleasant smile on his face as he strolled up to her. "Well good morning Ma..." he stopped his sentence as he got a better look at her and noticed that she was about to cry, this was his perfect moment to break her down for his own sake but at this moment he couldn't bring himself to do it "Class boring again Tillie" he said crossing his arms trying to figure out what he wanted to do at this moment. He looked around the hallway making sure that no one else was around to hear them talking or see them. "It's not too long of a drive up the highway to the ocean you know" he offered up to her and then thought on it. Why had he said that to her? Why would he even try to help her? She was person he was trying to get revenge on, so he should just walk away right now. He looked her over once again and then just left.

Great this was all she needed as Colin strolled down the hallway she turned her head hoping he would just walk on by. Wishful thinking never did do her well though. As he spoke she closed her eyes and deliberatly moved away from him as she faced the locker not even moving to correct him as he started saying her name. " Huh." Opening her eyes she gazed at Colin in shock as he called her Tillie.
Right now she should be cussing him out making a scene doing anything to get under his skin but instead she brushed at her eyes as a few tears escaped. The beach? Had Matthew perhaps mentioned to Colin and Sam that she liked the beach. Suspicious she looked at him not answering. " How far?" She asked softly. As he walked away she moved away from the locker biting back her pride. " You said up the highway..but is it a long drive?" She asked.
This place held little memories for her. Infact there was very little things she recalled. Someone mentioned something about a beach but it wasn't in town that much she knew.

So she did have a human side, his smile faded a little and hadn't expected to just walk away and go to class but he could talk to her for a few minutes till he got to his class. He looked at her through the corner of his eye "It's about two hours north by car, a lot longer by bus or foot" he said hoping that she would then ask the question about a car cause he was sure that she didn't have one nor would her father probably drive her there. He looked around once again and then stopped. It wouldn't be such a bad idea to just take the day off, he came to school and tried didn't he. "Look, we aren't friends and I can tell you don't want to be here and I don't want you here but when I want to get away and relax I go to the beach" he said stuffed his hand into his pocket fishing out something and then held it up for her to see. "What do you say we get out of here and I'll take you to that beach?"

Tillie didn't bother to hide her disapointment as Colin said it was a two hour drive. Well there went the plan of walking....although she wasn't totally put of the idea of hitchking it did lack an appeal. She'd rather hitchhike back home instead if she had to hitchhike at all. " Oh..."
Hands running through her pink hair she thought about what very little options she had. She lacked a license hell she lacked even a car. Matthew had a license..but had no car. She wasn't to sure how he'd feel about grand theft auto either. Then again going to the beach in their fathers police car would be interesting.
At his offer she looked at him with raised eyebrows. So he did that to. " Every time I took off at home I'd always go to the beach.." Now she was some what curious looking at his hand she frowned some. His offer was so tempting. " Why would you help me out?" She asked.

He watched her mind work over what he was offering and wondered if she was going to take it. Though if he was wanting to hurt her this would be his moment but he actually just wanted to get out himself. Things were piling up on his as well and a relaxing day out at the beach was just the perfect remedies. "Hey it's a win win situation. I mean getting out of town going to the beach and while I'm at it I can get you that much closer to being where you want to be and it's a win for me" he said waving the key in front of her face but just out of her reach so she wouldn't be able to grab the keys from him. Cause he was going to be the only one drive his car, it was what he bought with some of the money that his parent's left him. "The offer isn't going to be last forever" he said cause if she wasn't going to take it then he was just going to take off to go himself. It was a great idea and wondered why he hadn't thought of it before.

Tillie bit down on her bottom lip as he continued to dangle the keys infront of her face made her smirk some. " I'm not going to grab your keys if that's what your worried about." She said. " If I wanted a car...I wouldn't need keys." She said with a sly laugh.
Hands on her side she looked at Colin quietly. His words well he did made sense, true it was a win/win situation that she did so desperatly want. The beach was her safe haven somewhere she could go to relax. " What's the catch?" She said jumping straight to the point. " No one does anything...without nothing in return."
