Eldus watched him as he changed the cheeses and handed him his after he watched him store some in his pocket. He respected the elf even as he spoke about escape. Smart thing he was, though that kind of talk would get him killed. They were elves yes, the better species, but unarmed and far too weak. But a few were experienced...this could prove valuable if the elf really knew what he was getting himself into. "I'd rather die trying suffer this humiliation. You have my help. The others...I suggest you keep that power to yourself." He said in a low tone as his eyes flicked between everyone. "There are three here that have used swords, one more that was a thief from Riften. The Argonian is a mean grunt." He looked at Atrious again. He motioned towards the cart. "Keeping quiet is wise. Too many here to speak much. The further we are into the wilderness the safer we are of them not having resources." He raised a brow. "Can you build enough Mana by then to help us?" He asked though he glanced to Neve a moment. She seemed to be pissed of as she squirmed and struggled, like she was trying work her way out of the cuffs.

Working on the elf's food he passed it back quietly and in a secretive way. He understood completely. Nodding was his only response. "Yes I can. Make plans with the three and the other two. Keep me informed." He said before he changed his attention to some one else. He talked to another elf and made small talk about where they were from before they made them all get back into the cart/crate. He was nervous at first but once he figured out that they were all close he positioned himself by the girl that was chained to the tree and the wood elf. He wasn't sure who the girl was but she was cute.

Eldus took to his thoughts shortly after the conversation ended. What they even spoke of could only be a pipe dream. He was no fool to think the Stormcloaks would lie down and be over taken but that was all relative. In his home warriors showed valor and power by fighting their opponents fairly on common ground. Seems the Nords of skyrim chose a very different route. They were by no means lacking in their honor or pride amoungst one another, but it seemed troubling times had awakened a darkness in their hearts. EVeryone was looking to one another for blame, due to the split of the government into spheres of power that couldn't agree with one another. Ulfric and the Empire would fight till they turned as grey as the Greybeards themselves, spilling blood over a useless war. And where did that leave the elves. Torn between the Thalmor and their homes that were beaten into submission on both sides. Sure, Eldus had a pessimistic streak in him...But perhaps a stand here might be just the hope he needed to change.
Neve was let go when it was around time to leave, not without a few of the guards taking extra care to secure her properly. She let them drag her back to the cart, all hissy fits aside mostly because she was damn near exhausted. Frost gathered on her brow and in her hair, flakes of frozen water here and there on her skin but she hardly seemed fazed by it. She was allowed to change into her proper clothes, however they were still a little on the wet side due to her inability to hang them to dry. When allowed back with the group she took to finding Eldus, handing him his shirt back. "Thank you, but it seems you need it more." He told her but Neve held up a hand to stop him from giving it back. "Nonsense, you're shivering. Besides I quite like the cold." She told him before they were forced back into the cramped space of the cart. She sat staring at the scenery around her, bright blue eyes traveling the trees and foliage with a bit of longing. To think that only days ago she was with her pack in these woods, playing around in the snow... Thoughts of the group that sold her into this mess drew a frown from her as she looked away from the trees. She couldn't blame all of them necessarily. Ramma was the mastermind, the leader and the supreme authority. What he said and did was accepted by the group regardless of the consiquences. He was the one that hated her, not the others and for that she was already damned to die eventually. 'At least he had the decency to let me go out with a bang...' She snickered though it was sardonic and hardly cheerful. Her eyes flicked to the cab of the cart and she found a man there--hell he looked like a Nord. A frosty eyebrow rose in his direction as she did a very obvious once over. He was a fair faced man, most likely no older than most young Nords. She sensed something was up with him, but just what she had no real clue. Call it a...sixth sense she possessed but she usually got a feeling deep in her heart when she sensed a uniqueness in something. Now, that always wasn't necessarily a good thing. After all she got the same sense about Ramma... "I thought the same thing, but he's actually an elf. Just wierd like you." Eldus teased, drawing a snippy look from her that was accompanied by a smile. "I was just curious to see a new face that decided to join in on the fun." She told him but her eyes didn't leave this new man. "My names Neve, stranger. It's good to see someone more funny looking than me." She said as she attempted to stretch and got a "hey!" when she accidentally slapped someone. She shrunk back into her cramped place, a look of agrivation on her face. "Why do we have to be all shoved together like this?" She grumbled only to blush a bit when her stomach grumbled in protest. She folded her arms tightly over it, hoping to staunch the noises that seemed louder to her than the cab perhaps.

She smirked when Eldus made a weird joke, he was used to that the people at the college had called him weird- so it was just another familiar name to him. He looked the girl over at a bit of a closer range and smiled at her greeting ," Hello Neve- My name is Atrious...I'm from the mages college." He added the last part as a whisper. He reached into his pocket and pulled out some food for her and handed it to her, he looked at Eldus with a smile knowing he could make more- hopefully if his mana rose in this impoverished state- he hoped it would. It was cold but his robes were insulated from the college so he was used to the cold weather- thought he saw a lot of others shivering violently but he knew it would do him no good to use magic or to share his things because he would need them. He looked at Neve and smiled," I must admit You do look odd fro a normal Elf- are you from any specific region? "

Mage, huh? Well that might have explained that odd sense she got from him. Neve had never met a mage from the college, since most mages lived and died in Winterhold when they belonged to the college. They liked to be amoung like minded people, which she could hardly blame them. It was always better to deal with those of a like mind, it left less room for conflict. However, magic was foreign to her, mostly because Khajiits weren't particularly skilled at using it. She focused on her bow from a young age, even paid good time and effort for it to be enchanted by a traveling High Elf enchanter a very long time ago. He was a good man, a lovely singer and did well enough to satisfy the curious lust most elves gained in their youth. She was by no means a child then and certainly wasn't attached to him now. He was nothing more than a pleasant memory, one that was struck down by bandits only a month from his last visit. Neve made a point to keep her attention in men limitted, lest they provided some sort of benefit for her. She was not a heartless woman, she just liked her independence too much to give it up. Speaking of such, when offered the food from Atrious she gave it a double take. It looked fresh, if not just bought. How the hell did he get his hands on something like that? She hesitated, not wanting to accept something from someone she just met. That was till Eldus gave her a nudge in her side. "Take it. It's fresher than what anyone else has. Magic." He mouthed the last bit and she blinked before looking back to the bread and cheese he offered. She took the bread, since she didn't like the cheese. It was too strong for her and left a bad taste in her mouth. She nibbled on it carefully, testing the taste before she took healthier bites. She stopped however when he asked where she was from and she wondered a moment on how exactly to answer. "I supose I am. For now I've been lead to believe I'm a daughter of Skyrim." She said, a term used for someone born within skyrim but also could mean that they were born of Nordic decent. She would leave that to his imagination and proceeded to ask a question that was on the tip of her tongue. "Well you are a long way from home, Atrious. If you don't mind me asking, what brought you to the South?" Neve asked as she leaned against Eldus, looking for something more comfortable than the rough wood and rocking they were all subjected to.

Smiling a little he nodded at her statement about him being far from the college. "I was on the search for a book- a new conjuration book from a mage in Windhelm...The college could not help me any longer- they have nothing left to teach me in my field...I am in fact the most skilled Conjurer they had. before I left just a few days ago and I wound up in this mess because of a miss understanding."He looked at the wood elf and smiled at him when he encouraged her to eat. They looked like they knew each other- he wanted in the safety circle- he had one in the college just him, the librarian, and the arch mage... every one else didn't like nor care for him because of his background. He had confided in one person and found it to be a huge mistake- so he kept o him self more often. Thought he couldn't help himself when he found a pretty girl- he liked them a lot.

"Conjuration? You mean like summoning beasts and creatures from Oblivion?" Neve asked, obvious that she knew very little on the subject. She however smirked when he told her he was arrested from a misunderstanding, and that his big trip far from home--to Windhelm, city of the racist Stormcloaks no less--was ll over a book? "My my, and you get thrown in with us over a venture for a book?" She was stiffling laughter behind her hand, for some reason his story striking her humor. She hadn't laughed like this in quite a while, the sound coming out a bit more loud than she intended. She quickly bit her lip finally stopping herself after Eldus gave her a scolding look. Aparently he thought she was being mean to the poor little mage. So she decided to smooth it over with being a little more nice. "I like you, Atrious. Though your sense is questionable, you are interesting to say the least." She said just as the cart jostled a bit more. She spared a look above her, at the canopy of the tall fur trees and the cloudy sunless sky. "I don't supose you know the direction we're headed...east? North?" She could always tell by the sun at times like this, but the damn snow and grey kept her from using even her basic navigation. If she knew where she was, she could work on getting out of here, or at least figure out a plan for whenever they got to where they were going.

Atrious smiled at her comment about liking him. When she asked about the direction he frowned- he could find out but he didn't want to get attention drawn to him. He didn't know how to use his magic with out being seen here in a moving cart surrounded by storm cloaks. He would have used some thing he learned form a chap at the college from a long time ago when he was a boy...It made the sky in the college stop snowing just long enough for him to see the dragons there in the sky. 'Lok-Vah-Koor' he however was supposed to yell it- he couldn't yell here... that would get him strung up for sure. Frowning he shook his head," Maybe after our way point if things go well I can... My mana is almost full... So I'm ready when your ready Eldus." He whispered to the elf not really letting Neve hear because he wasn't sure if she was in the loop. He didn't want to get this pretty girls' hopes up for escape if she had nothing to attribute to helping to get away.

Eldus noticed the whisper directed at him and the way Neve's nose wrinkled when they were obviously sharing information without her. "Give it till sun up tomorrow..we should make our next stop then." He said, mostly judging by the cycle he witnessed after being here so long. "And don't worry about Neve, she was one of the ones I spoke of. The thief from Riften." Neve sat up board straight, her expression showing her distate for the title. "I am no thief. I simply dabbled in a few of their ventures that would be profitable for me." She said beofre taking off another bite of her bread. "Now what is it you two are gossiping about?" She said around her mouth full, making Eldus snicker as he leaned in to tell her. Neve tensed, her eyes focused on something far off. "Ah...interesting." She looked to Atrious and wondered a moment if this odd little mage could help them. If she could get her hands on a bow, this would have all been done days ago. She just wasn't the strongest of upclose combat, able to land quick blows but not being able to deal a great deal of damage or take heavy hits. "I'm game...As long as I get to deal with the captian of this little guard, should push come to shove." She said, venom in her voice from remembering the sorry mans rough treatment of her and the others. He was also the one that taunted her with the bread earlier. Neve wasn't shallow enough to hold meaningless grudges...but she was not above dealing justice to those that pushed her to that point.

Atrious smiled when she was game for the plan, it was nice to know who was who in the plan so he could possibly visualize the plan. He thought for a moment about all his spells and smiled once, leaning over to her after Eldus sat back," Do you have a weapon?" He asked in a low voice he could conjure certain weapons but they were only for a short time and were only effective if one was very accurate. He asked the same question of Eldus as well wondering how much mana he was going to have to use to escape this trial.

Neve gave Atrious a sarcastic look. "Yes, I've been hiding a sword between my chest the entire time." She said only making a few of the others look at her. Feeling stares she lowered her voice. "No, they took my bow back in Riften. I think they still have it and my quiver somewhere but I haven't had a chance to really look. Eldus, you said your family's axe is in one of the soldiers travel packs right?" He nodded and she looked to Atrious. "Meaning if we want to be armed...we either disarm the guards. Or we look for our things." She said knowing both options were risky but their only choice. She wasn't strong enough to try and take down armored men. She could maybe take one or two out with a small scrimage but even that would be hard to really do when they had swords and axes aimed at her. 'I could always use....no better not.' She thought, remembering a phrase she learned when she was younger. She had been playing with Aisha in the snowy peaks when she found a wall there with wierd letters inscribed on it. The letter's had begun to glow when she approached them and suddenly a voice rang out in her ears saying 'Iiz-Slen-Nus'. She never forgot those words, even now she could remember them as if the voice she had heard was still ringing in her ears. She made the mistake of saying it one day, for some reason it came out of her mouth when she was angry with a fellow Khajiit over harming a little bird she had kept as a pet. She shouted the word and the man turned to ice, frozen solid as if he were dead. The others claimed it was a fluke perhaps elven magic. She however felt it was something more ominous....

He thought for a moment about what he could conjure that would be able to get it for him- if not to scare the storm cloaks or distract them enough so they could get their things. "I- I could perhaps... make a distraction... so you can move and gather?" He said thinking of summoning an Atrinoch ((forgive my misspelling T-T)) . He had a high enough mana level to sustain it for a good while. Even with attacks- as long as he could reinforce it before it went off. He looked between the pretty thief and the tall elf, It could work- three main groups working with maybe some support- this could defiantly work as a technical 'jail break'.

The sound of Atrious's voice, his admitting to being able to provide a distraction, made Neve frown slightly. He sounded almost unsure, though then again, none of them could be sure of the outcome of this little plan of theirs. "Alright, Atrious, if we can rely on you for the distraction. Then Eldus and I can retrieve our weapons." Eldus smiled lightly, liking where this was all going. "People should follow suite once they see what's going on. I spoke earlier to two people that seem on the fence...I think they will side with us once they know we are serious." He said and Neve gave a light sigh. Honestly, if everyone in the world was as leery as an elf, they'd all be dead by now. But she understood they needed proof that this would work before they'd risk their lives. It was understandable, though she hardly thought that way. She prefered to do things not just because she was sure she could suceed but for the thrill of her suceeding.

He nodded at her comment," Very well- just give me the word... I will stand prepared..." He said with a smile. He place dhis hands neatly in his lap and sat quietly for a hwile concentrating on how int eh wolrd he was going to pull this off. After a bit he dug threw his pockets looking for a certain thing- he pulled out a thin vial- filled with a light orange liquid- he smiled, it was his conjuration enhancing potion. He always kept on on his persons. He was prepared for it now, the distracted hew as supposed to make work- his distraction would now work for about five minutes- his potions making skills were very high.

((Kay I'm just going to skip along to the next stop where we can fight yay))
Neve watched Atrious for a brief ammount of time, mostly because he was an interesting elf. when he pulled out the phail she raised a brow at it. Eldus noticed and began talking about potions with him, seeming enthused about them. Letting the men talk, Neve felt her weariness catching up with her and her eyes slowly but surely started to drift closed. When the cart jostled her head landed on Atrious's shoulder. She unconciously nestled closer to the warmth. Even if she could handle the cold and freezing temperatures she still liked warm things. Time passed progressively and soon they were stopping again. The enviroment around them was much more snowy and rugged. Mountains and frozen rivers and lakes were everywhere, cave mouths nearby letting out whistling wild winds. As the cart rolled over a thick stony path under all the snow, it was enough of a jostle to wake Neve. She sat up rubbing her eyes lightly. "Huh where are we...?" She mumbled till the cart threw her back when it slammed to a halt. "Broken wheel!" Someone called and Neve looked tentatively out the barred spaces. "Remove the prisoners so that it can be repaired!" A captian called and instantly people began to mobalize and move the elves around in the cart, prodding them with blunt swords like cattle. She spared a look to Atrious, wondering if this was a good place to start fighting. She wasn't much for plan making, much more of the act before thinking type.
