Neve stopped when Atrious motioned for her to and she turned her attention to him. As he spoke she looked confused till he said the last bt and her brow furrowed. He was serious about this ignoring him business? "Atrious, that's seriously what you want? You know I'm not bothered by rumor and talk." She said giving him a soft look of concern. Her horse took a step back, having been so use to motion it was fidgetting at standing still despite Neve's hold on the reigns.

Some how he knew she was going to argue with him. With a stern expression he nodded," Yes it is very vital in fact... If we need supplies form town you will go- I can't- they won't accept me to do such...You need to be a separate ticket from me when I arrive. I will not take no for an answer. Go." He said finally a smirk on his lips- he was serious if only she knew she would figure it out once she got into town and when he entered she would know. Doors would fly closed- children pulled in off the streets- lights dampened. A few brave souls challenge him to leave and to go die in the snow- as usual. He would ignore them or threaten them with their own children's heads. He would never follow threw however he usually had his 'mother' with him- he never truly felt safe at 'home'.

Neve narrowed her eyes slightly, not liking be told what to do, but she knew better than to argue. If it honestly would make his life worse, then she abide by what he was saying. She huffed and pulled the reigns, making the horse turn and start to trot off towards town. She looked back at him hoever a moment, almost worried that leaving him alone might make things worse. He was the last thing she had close to an ally now after all, and he was the only man she actually trusted to have her back. She was rather on edge about what she would find in this town and when she reached the beginings of the town. It was relatively small for a town with few homes and even fewer businesses. She noticed the land it sat on was rather jagged and thin, something she could only equate to errosion from the snow creating its shape. She looked over the town and her jaw nearly dropped when she saw the massive castle like structure a good ways up the road and what seemed to be a bridge. That could only be the College right? It was the northern most point of the damn place and the only thing that stood out to her as magic looking. To be honest the folks here looked rather plain. Most of them just going about their day with relative calm. She rode her horse through town in a slow trot, recieving looks from the people as she passed. They all seemed to be analyzing her, trying to understand her purpose there. She passed a few looks around and one was a thin lipped smile. She wasn't sure what to think of these people after what Atrious told her about their naivety. What with the cold wind, she knew her ears must have been visible, giving them reason to stare a bit perhaps, especially since she probably looked odd up on a horse with little coverage from the cold and looking like a half breed of elf and nord. She noticed a few shildren running around where the inn sat and she wondered a moment if Atrious would be opposed to getting a drink but was a good girl and went to where she was told to wait for him.

He waited just long enough for her to be into town then he came up after- as soon as he got into town there was a silver light over his right shoulder- his guardian keeping him content to keep on traveling because he was terrified of these people. His eyes looked edgy and irritated and his already pale features looking washed out. He saw Neve up ahead just by the Inn by the exit of town and he wouldn't have been surprised if she saw their reaction. A few bigger men with swords came forward from the Inn when he got a bit closer- they didn't look nice nor happy to see him. "Leave." one said rather powerfully. Atrious looked at him- his brow slightly pulled down in thought," I'm going to the college- Let me pass." The man snorted a laugh," Yeah sure- that's what you all say- bloody cursed thing- you can't do anything with out the curses you spew can you?!" The man was clearly challenging him, Atrious frowned," I don't wish to fight. Please let me pass." He said before moving his horse forward until one of the men on his right jumped forward grabbing the reigns from him and spooking his horse easily, making Atrious fall. The leader spit on him. His fists clenched as he stood up wiping the spit from his face." That was just rude." He said before he held out an arm to keep the silver creature that was swimming in the air beside him from going to incinerate him, for that. "Let ignorance be. Let me pass I don't want to hurt you." The man scowled at him that he wasn't in the mood to fight. "Fight me and I'll let you go if you can live. Come a fight to the death-If I win I will rid this town of a curse and if you win- one more thing for you to curse us about...Come now you inbred scum." Atrious smiled at him then," Now that's just rude- Since you have insulted my mother and my father- You will have to die." He looked about and didn't see Neve's horse close to where he was wanting to be so he let a few words slip past his lips a black smoke with a bit of a purple miasma coming from them before he threw it at their feet and a Dremora Lord stepped threw to look down over the men- towering over them a good foot. Its rattled breath came in sharp as it smelled their sudden fear and they sank back quickly and didn't challenge then- the main one with the mouth stood his ground. "You think I haven't fought one before. Child. I'm a great sell sword. I am paid to kill bigger things for less." Atrious smiled a devious smile," Well then- begin. A fight tot he death and believe me this will be intriguing Red guard spawn."
The man was hacking at his summon he however dropped his arm and his eyes grew wide almost with excitement as he watched the silvery Atronach wrap its burning arms about the red guard who had been mouthing off- When the final arm went about the man the Dremora lord disappeared- luckily for him. The man let out a piercing scream as some of his flesh was burned from his body- Atrious stood over him and spoke simple words," Next time watch your tongue. I will not have my heritage disrespected." He said his voice very mono tone and serious- the Silver Atronach left the man with two burned arms and a blistered second degree back. Man would be in pain for months- but it served him right. He got back on his horse- the silver light falling in place behind him and he went threw town and met up with Neve. He wasn't sure what she had heard or seen but he was very unhappy with the encounter- that much was written on his face. He wasn't angry but he was upset about it.

Neve had made it a little ways past the inn when she noticed things began to change. People tensed and the children instantly quieted things grew still except for the few people that cleared the streets and hid away. Her brow furrowed before she realized what must be going on. She looked back and saw Atrious coming though the town. She couldn't see him in detail, but by the way he held himself she sensed his inner turmoil at being back here. Neve was about to turn back to her path, the bridge to the college just up ahead, when she heard the commotion. She whirled round in time to see Atrious hit the snow and instantly her eyes flicked to the men harrassing him. She reached for her bow and went to put an arrow through the one in the center but suddenly a thick black smoke took up around them. Her horse reacted to the dark atmosphere and darted forward in a frenzy making her have to cling to it to get control back. In the horses fit she caught sight of the Dremora and instantly her blood ran cold. The thing was still just as terrifying as ever...those idiots with swords were screwed. They seemed to sense their predicament and two ran but the one in the center stayed. He fought with the Dremora rather well but a silvery light took him out before his fight could really even begin. Her horse had whirled around again, so she only heard the scream of pain... She finally got control of her horse in time to hear Atrious approaching. She watched him move toward her and knew that he was bothered and hurt on the inside. On the outside however he looked stoic, like cold ice. She would say good job or make a comment about the fight, but by the look on his face she had a sense he wouldn't want that. So she did the next best thing, of letting it go... She gave him a sympathetic frown before she raised a brow slightly. "The bridge is too narrow for horses and I wasn't sure if I could cross it really. It feels...wierd for me to be here." She said looking at the bridge with a slight unease.

"Its just a magic barrier. Come along- leave your horses here....They will be fine." He got off his mount and tethered his horse by a tree with some grass poking out of the snow by the bridge. He went up to the bright over hand to find a girl there looking him over hen smiled as Neve came around the corner. "Atrious." The girl said in a calm but nervous tone in greeting as she stood by to let him pass. "Hello Yvette. She will be coming with me- please put the barrier down." She looked Neve over then looked away figuring she was nothing she wanted to get into with she was with him. she pulled it down and they walked along the bridge to the main gate- he entered with Neve on his heels- into the court yard that was empty at the moment. He glanced at the snow berries in the court yard haven't been touch by students yet which made him smile- they always filled the grounds with a sweet smell. "Come- to my quarters this way." He went to his left along the walk way into the first door there into the dorms. In the center of the circular room was a large blue light casting heat out as well as light to the rooms. There was a few voices talking about certain projects and such but he ignored everything and simply went to the right a few doors then entered a room that looked a bit darker then the others they had already passed. There were summoning scrolls about the room with a master makes on the seals. Books and such were about as well as somethings that didn't exactly look like they belonged. His bed was covered in books and his floor looked like it was about a months worth of dust. "Well- welcome to the mess." he said it a smile as he stacked books on the floor from a chair for neve. He wanted to explain to her about the college before taking her around it.

Neve followed, wondering about this magic barrier and why they needed it. Perhaps they had a fear of attack? Whatever the reason, she sensed it was powerfula and would deter those from entering that didn't belong. She felt a little odd on the bridge, keeping close to Atrious though she watched the college ahead of her. It was massive and quite amazing in it architecture. How many rooms and secrets must be hidden away in a place like that.... It made her curious how old the place was, guessing it must have been something else before it was a college. She stopped when he did and eyed the girl on the bridge. She kept silent, standing tall and appearing at place though she felt the barrier telling her to get the hell out of there fast. He asked the woman to drop the barrier and Neve's brow rose when she easily complied. If they were this laxed with who they let in, what was the point of the barrier. She followed Atrious into the courtyard, only to have her face light up in awe of the snow covered expanse. Snow berries filled the air with a sweet scent and the towering statue of a mage made her eyes widen slightly at its craftsmanship. She was curious what was behind these three doors that surrounded them but Atrious was quick to reign in the curiousity and lead her off to the dorms. When the doors opened she heard the first bit of noise she had heard since arriving. The castle was still as peaceful as ever and seemed to have that uptight scholarly feel to it. Even the voices spoke of spells and things, though Neve hardly understood the conversation. Atrious finally stopped at a room, one that had Neve covering her mouth to hide a smirk. This man that seemed so serious and uptight, had a room that looked like a literature hoarders paradise. She went over to the chair he cleared for her, in the meantime still letting her eyes search the area. "It looks lived in and an organized mess." She said, since she noticed the books in the stack he cleared from the chair had the same author. "Atrious this place is so large. So what will we see next? Oh and um, are there any rules I need to know? I mean I don't want to get you in trouble by doing something stupid..." She asked now in a rather excited mood to see more. As she spoke she picked up a dark colored gem on the counter, one that hummed with a certain power to it...

"Put that soul gem down. Rule number one- Don't touch everything you see. Don't make a fight. Don't questions other the Arch mage- don't steal." he said a quick sum up of the rules. "I will how you a few places- you will need to wear these robes and pretend to have a liking for magic. If you are with me their will more or less ignore us or they will straight up confront us. We will have to see." He commented as he passed her some spare robes from when he was a bit smaller. "You can change next door- They died in a challenge we were set on by the Thalmor...The room is empty now."

When he told her to put the soul gem down, she dropped it back on the table looking like a scolded child. She listened to the other rules and nodded to some. they were pretty straight forward. She knew this place was a home for him so she would behave. But she didn't know how she would handle all this prejudice against him. She already wanted to deck last three that tried something but he didn't seem to want her involved so she would stay out of it. Her eyes went to the not so flattering robes and She looked slightly put off by them. it was obvious she would be what with her armor being quite minimal in some aspects of a female form. But she took them under his request and blinked when he mentioned the story off the room next door. "W ell that sounds pleasant..." She gulped wondering if that would be them next. She went and stripped down in the room leaving nothing but the essentials before she put on the robes. They fit relatively well but she found that the folds cut oddly across her chest. She shrugged and went back to Atrious. "Well I wouldn't call this sexy but its very warm." She said giving her arms a bit of a flap to test her arm mobility in it.

Smiling at her comment about ti looking sexy or not was funny. "Its made to be warm and help endue magic. Not appeal to those around you. Come on- I'll take you to the Library then to see that Arch mage. He might want to meet you." He said showing her about the place . As they were in the library he made the comment that he had read every book there. When they finally went to see that Arch mage he wasn't there- however when he asked around he would be returning that evening.

Neve rolled her eyes about his comment. Functionality was one thing but come on. People needed to feel confident in what they wore right? Not like a nun... She followed him through the halls and looked over the library in interest. She was amazed by the large selection and even more amazed by the fact Atrious read all of them. "Damn..." She muttered before following him to meet this infamous arch mage. She looked and wowed at his room, her jaw dropping at the BEAUTIFUL garden in the center. She moved forward, not touching, but looking at the glowing plants and creative placements in his garden. She felt a small connection however to the glowing mushrooms on the tree however and for some reason she took a step back from them. She didn't know why, but the thought of touching one weirded her out. She followed him out and back intot hte school, listening as he spoke to others about the mage. Aparently the man would be back soon. She turned to Atrious then, walking backwards and gave him a sly smirk. "Okay so what do we do for fun till the old guy gets back? Come on, I've been traveling all day. There must have been something you stuffy mages did around here to loosen up." She said with a light smirk.

Atrious smiled at her comment and her fascination with the garden. "Well I usually drink in my own personal space or down bellow...well we do have one room you might like..." He said taking her into eh room that had stone colems and a large glowing ball in the middle glowing in a light iridescent blue. "isn't it beautiful?"

Neve gave a very light smirk at the talk of drinking. So he took to the bottle often....Not that she judged him after the life he had lived. She just always saw him as uptight and serious. She nodded and followed him to the room he spoke of. When inside she marvelled at its beauty. the light ball in the centre. was gorgeous. She was awed by it to th we point she almost touched it had she not remembered his warning. "what is it?" She asked, her eyes narrowing lightly as she tried to get a better look.

" A relic. This is where I had my very first class, I'm sure they do it to make people want to stay with it- that's my guess." He smiled at her as he walked around- there was no one there but them today- it seemed classes weren't being held at the current time. He figured since the Arch Mage was out they were slacking off again- as usual. His attention was drawn away when he heard a rush of chatter as the elf had returned a bit early to his surprise. He went out into the hall to greet him. "Ah- I see you have returned Atrious and you have brought a friend I see- greeting Acolyte." Atrious nodded, thought ti wasn't really an answer," Yes- I was needed into speak with you in your office if you don't mind." Then older elf's brown drew together," In a short while- Please wait in my office." He nodded an took Neve back up to the Arch mages quarters- he showed Neve the garden showing her specific plants about what potions they made and such as they waited.

Neve looked at the relic with certain awe as Atrious spoke. She could imagine little Atrious there learning spells. it was a rather cute image. She blinked when she heard talking and followed Atrious. There was an old elf there who spoke with familiarity and sort of respect to Atrious. it made him a sport of nice guy in her book. She followed him back to the cool room a and marvelled at the pants her spoke of. "Atrious, is this guy alright? I mean is he nice? Do I need to watch out for anything'?" she asked looking a bit worried.
