Smiling he nodded, then flagged her to follow him. He entered into the college again threw the main hall to the stairs he had found her at before then looked about before opening it and letting himself and her inside. He made sure she could see with the mage light he was using and lead her threw the 'halls' to the room where the large circular forge was located. It was odd looking however it was dangerous- the room had a faint rumbling as they went in. "Welcome to the Atronach Forge. Where one can produce Deadric items- and other powerful artifacts for use..." He watched her expressions to see what she was feeling being here- he was avoiding a particular place in the room it was obvious- he didn't want to go where his friend had died- it was forbidden in his book.

Neve followed however she walked along side him till they reached the hatch. At first she was prepared for this, but looking down at that tiny trap door stirred something very raw in her. It was a fear that she had from her child hood. It was the fear of dark cramped spaces which rocked her to the very core. She stopped a moment when the door was opened to reveal the dark hole. She shook her head to dispell the fear when he lead her down into the hole. She was thankful he lit it with some sort of light, it made her feel safer at least. She kept up with atrious to stay in the light, walking down to where this forge was. When she finally got in and saw the forge her breath caught at just how it glowed. Oblivion's symbol was on its face, giving it a very powerful feel. She went forward, forgetting her fear as she went to the forge. It was hauntingly beautiful but she could feel a dark haze ofver it. "You can use this? How?" She said, looking it over in confusion.

He took a deep breath and spoke in a solom voice but ti was just loud enough to be heard, not echo." With some ingratiating, an object to replace the sacrifice- say a skull of a troll or something- and some words and magic. and wala...you have a product of the forge- as long as your magic is high enough- it if isn't there is a large chance of it back firing and you dying." He looked it over and touched the side of it a bit- relaxing as he felt the humm of magic just below his finger tips," its a dangerous machine however its comforting all the same- if you touch it you can feel the magic- just pulsing with in the stone- I find it comforting."

Neve walked closer letting her hand skim the surface wvhen he mentioned it feeling powerful. If it felt that way in the air around it then it must feel amazing to touch. She was shocked to find out did radiate an aura that even she was drawn to. "Good thing it is hidden here then...it would be dangerous in the hands of the Thalmor..." She looked to him and saw his aversion to a spot on the ground. She frowned slightly when she remembered what she had been told. "I could go grab some drinks from town, maybe something to eat...if you're bored...." She said simply hinting at something for them to do and giving him a scape goat out of this place if it really bothered him...

He looked a bit spaced out his mind in other places on other times. When she asked a question she nodded,"Yeah...sounds good..." He shook his head to clear the images there and walked out figuring she would follow. Recasting his mage light he lead them back to the hatch where he helped her out. He showed her how to get back and went to his own room where he had some mead still witch he started in on before she even returned wanting to drown out the images of his old friends face.

Neve walked into the town, hips swaying as she did her best to work with the odd pull of the mages attire. She liked how warm it kept her but the way it clunch to her in weird places made her struggle to find anything attractive about it. She was too used to her usual attire, the female cut khjiit style leather and steel with little to the imagination what was under the cloth. She went into the inn, only to find Nords dinning in all directions. They saw her roves and did a once over of her before ignoring her completely, despite her ears. She suposed they must get alot of elves in the area due to the college. She grabbed her mead and few sweets she purchased and was about to leave when she caught the end of a conversation of a tomb nearby with unforseen treasures hidden in it....
Neve made her way back with relative clarity though she was a bit buzzed and filled with excitement from talking with the travelers about some old ruins in the tundra areas still left unraided. She was curious about them, mostly because she was a curious elf... "Atrious I'm back." She called to him when she walked into the dorms with her satchel, only to find him in his room already drinking. "Well, way to get started. Here catch." She tossed him a seet roll and sat down, pulling a tart from her bag and nibbled on it. "You wouldn't believe what kind of stories these Nords have. All about treasure and adventures. We should give that a shot some day." She said with a lopsided smile despite his obviously zoned out look. She lost the smile for a second and rather invaded his personal space to put her forehead against his. "Well your not sick...so what has you down?" She asked, before settling back with her own drink that she only cared to take from the bottle at this point.

He caught the bag- his mind not fully there but he nodded at the right times until she was suddenly very close and in his space her forehead to his. His eyes went wide and he looked a bit surprised but didn't pull away. "Just memories... We are already adventuring Neve... Thanks." He said as he took a bite of his sweet roll- its sticky sweet texture tasting good with his honey briar mead. "What makes you so cheery all the time? How can you always have a smile?"

Neve snacked on the tart happy to be getting something to eat though normally she would be eating twice her weight. She waited for him to finish with his short answers and rolled her eyes lightly at his mention of them already adventuring. She knew what he meant but she lived for excitement. His comment about memories however did make her curious but she didn't want to risk upsetting him by bringing them up. His questions however left her raising a brow. "I'm not always cheerful. You just haven't done something stupid enough to make me want to be anything less than happy around you." She said with a shrug. "Also well, I find its better to smile than frown....leaves fewer wrinkles." She stuck out her tongue in a joking fashion since he could only guess she wasn't that vain.

He smirked at her wrinkle joke," True enough..." He couldn't help but chucked with a smile as he shook his head as he thought of her as vain- impossible really in his opinion. "My friend. he used to ask me why I was always frowning when it came to his family...Asked me why I never came over...I avoided answering him until one day he told me I didn't have to answer- but as long as I could smile about things it was alright , then he would go on and tell me I was going to be a raisin when I got older..." He smirked at the end of it his voice light as the alcohol set in. He knew she was wanting to know but he had to share that because he felt it was needed since it reminded him so much about her response- she might want to know. She was his only real friend right now- and that made him happy.

Neve gave him a light smile though it looked slightly strained. It was sad after all to hear that he had lost someone that close to him. "He sounds like a funny guy." She said before bringing the bottle to her lips. She wondered why it was she was drawn to someone like Atrious when usually she prefered her Khajiit pack ways. Perhaps she was using him as her pack, or maybe it was because she sensed something in him, the food that showed through at times like this. It made her feel bad that he suffered when she saw him like this, but she knew she could do very little to help. "So then show me your best smile lady killer. Come on, something better than that." She said mostly just playing with him to get him in a better mood.

He couldn't help but laugh a little at that as he drug a hand threw his hair. He was having a hard time understanding why she was trying to cheer him up but he found it nice but funny because hew as drunk already. Bringing the bottle to his lips he took a drink then smiled at her, again but faintly, " I am no lady killer... just a daughter snatcher.... until they figure out I'm an elf." he said as a joke- he didn't feel the usual tension there was when he drank when he worked himself up into a grumpy hatred of himself when he was with Neve it was actually alright to vent and the like- he liked this much better. His mind was still muddled however and he looked at her with a small cock of his head, " So Neve, Are you glad you promised to be my friend?"(( This is his second look )) i386.photobucket.com/albums/oo307/malicemitchell/cam-gigandet-cute-hot-sexy-smile-Favimcom-453705_zpsac66c959.jpg

((OMG he's hot))
Neve was a bit taken aback by the rather cute smile he gave her. Atrious really was an attractive man and she didn't have to be drunk to admit that. She wouldn't act on that fact of course but he was definitely not a push over when it came to looks. 'Those girls are idiots...' She thought around a drink before offering him a smirk at his next question. "Glad? hm, yeah I could say that. You're much better company than theives and merchants. I don't have to worry that what I say to you will come back to bite me in the ass, and I'm sure I could take you in a fight if push came to shove." She said before raising a brow at him, her pride seeping into her smile. "And you? though I don't know why I'm asking. You know you adore me and would be totally lost without me..."

He cracked another smile but nodded," Your right- I would be lost. probably at the bottom of a bottle some where alone. Or lost...that has happened too." He said a little matter of factually also- since he had gotten lost before as well. He was drunk already it was obvious however he was very honest when drunk so one could' get all information out of him if he didn't volunteer it. " But there is a few plus sides to this for me. One I have a new drinking buddy, Two I won't loose my ass in towns where stuff is sold, I won't lose my trail by getting distracted by plants and third your not bad to look at- and I'll be first to admit it." he said his voice having a bit of a proud sound to it however it was obviously drunk.

Neve chuckled at his reccounting of what she provided for him. The last statement was a bit out there but then again hadn't he argued his point on how he'd be better than Markus to bed. Neve took in the dregs of her bottle before giving him a look that was softened by the drink settling that warm haze in her. "I have to say I'd probably be in a very tight spot right now without you. And I think you'd drink me under the table. And yeah you are not too bad to look at either. There I said it, happy now?" She said, since she hadn't ever complimented his looks before openly.

Atrious laughed and thanked her when she asked if he was glad she finally admitted it. "About time you come clean.- Your right- if I don't spend it all on herbs I'll spend it on drink. and you have to admit- I'm a nice elf- not many elves are this nice any more." He noticed her bottle was empty and reached under his bed and brought out another bottle handing it to her with a smile," If you need I'll drink the other half." He said with a joking smirk that was more of a challenge in calling her a light weight.
