Evelyn looked shocked when her last name tumbled out of the stranger's mouth in an attempt to soother the situation. She wondered if it was someone from work there but figured her coworker and his wife would be the only two people that would be in a college student bar at this time of night. She looked up and saw instead Dr. Hyun. He was there drinking perhaps, he was young for a professor after all. She shook her head, figuring that there was no suspicion to be had in seeing him here. Maybe he just liked dive bars near his campus...She gave a bit of a sheepish smile at his comment about not expecting to see her, something that wasn't her usual straight lace she tried to keep during work hours. "Yeah same." She then realized how that must of looked since last time they ran into each other unexpectedly, she had been tailing him. She looked a bit nervous a moment, giving a bit of a look that was quickly searching for how to explain herself. "I'm not here on an assignment or anything. Not like yesterday--so I wasn't tailing you or anything... I'm actually just here for the band." She said, though felt that that might sound a bit juvenile and unprofessional so she gave a bit of a nervous laugh. "It's my brother's band. He's back in town and decided to play at his old stomping ground. I had no idea it would be this packed." She said before she noticed awkwardly that the space between them had gotten smaller, her body brushing his as people tried to move her out of the way. She turned a bit pink, but in the off color bar light she must have just look a bit apologetic about being that close to him. It occurred to her that the man was attractive before, but she tried to push that to the back of her mind when dealing with him. She wasn't a college student any more that had time for that sort of thing, or to humor it with a man that was on her suspect list. She gave him a once over glance however for her own girlish curiosity, smiling at him a bit, deciding to be a bit friendly before she escaped awkwardly from taking up his time. "I didn't expect you here either. I didn't know professors partied here too." She said since when she had gone here to school only a year ago she was under the impression it was a student hang out since the I.D. check was less stringent and you could get a lot of the cheap booze for nickels. She noticed her friend Anthony was looking at her from the bar, raising a brow in question of who she was talking to. She shot him a quick look that showed she wasn't in trouble before she attempted to put some distance for her comfort and his till the crowds could clear and she could make an escape. Surely he must have been there with colleagues or some girl, since he didn't seem like the loner type.

Jin listened over the din of the crowd as Ms. Turner spoke. She seemed slightly flustered and as the words just continue to tumble out of her mouth, he couldn't help the amused grin that formed on his lips, spreading to the creases of his eyes. He found it exceedingly cute that she thought he might be concerned with her tailing him. The pink in her cheeks drew his eyes but quickly, as she laughed, he found himself tracing the outline of her lips. In his opinion, she was much too pretty a thing to be an agent. He mentally shook his head and knocked himself away from the path he knew his mind wanted to take. This was a situation he was used to working with but he knew better than to go on as he usually did. It was hard to do when her body kept brushing up against his, not that he truly minded much. A chuckle escaped him as Ms. Turner joked about professors partying and he shrugged his shoulders some. “Well, I can't always be a tight ass. Have to find some way of releasing stress.” He winked and took a swig of his beer, the hint of a smirk on his lips. He noticed that she seemed uncomfortable being this close to him and he found that a little disappointing but, after all, they didn't know each other very well. He glanced around and mentally prepared a short, but probably challenging, path through the crowd. He could help her get to the bar where she could at least have a millimeter more of space. Jin reached down to touch her shoulder and guide her through the bodies when he watched as an already rather drunken idiot did a typical drunken idiot thing. He threw a beer bottle. Swiftly, Jin grabbed Ms. Turner and spun, switching their places. The bottle struck his mid back as a few shouts came from those surrounding them. He hissed slightly through his teeth at the pain and then the growing wetness as beer permeated his shirt. He was frozen for a second before realizing that he had basically embraced Ms. Turner in a hug in order to protect her. He stepped away from her and looked down with concern, his irritation growing into a dangerous anger. His muscles were tight and gaze intent, but the grip on her shoulders was gentle. “Are you okay?” He questioned her, eyes looking at her face with furrowed brow. He had a clear image of the asshole who had thrown the bottle and once he found out whether or not Ms. Turner was okay, he was going to do something about the idiot...

When Jin gave a chuckle, she figured that she must have across as stupid and decided to turn her attention to her drink to maybe cancel out some of her jitters. She wasn't used to seeing people from her work out in the real world or letting herself be seen as anything less than a professional. She was new to the force after all and didn't want to be seen as bad at her job. When he made the comment about being a tight ass, she giggled some, mostly because she had never heard a professor actually admit to it before. Though the reliving stress bit she could get behind. However he suddenly touched her shoulder, offering to help her move through all these people. The offer was nice since she wanted to get a better view when her brother started playing after all. Suddenly however she was pulled against him, now facing the other way with her body against his. She looked up at him, hearing a thud against him and realized he was hit by something, finding it was a beer bottle by all the shouts the people around him gave about it. Her eyes widened some, a bit of pink coloring the concern on her face as she tried to move a bit to look him over to make sure he was alright. "Y-Yeah, I'm fine." She said, though she move a bit so she could look around him to see if there was ny broken glass on him or signs of real injury. He would probably have a nasty bruise though underneath the wet shirt. "You're the one who took that to the back, are you okay?" She asked though she did look up when she heard jeering, trying to get a good look at the group of men being idiots at the bar. The were a bunch of sophomore frats that were arguing over a bet they had, making her eyes narrow briefly. Honestly, men and alcohol made them children, but stupid stupid children... "Did you get a look at which one threw it?" She asked, since she had her badge with her and felt like throwing out of a group of idiots that could have seriously injured someone. A friend of her's once got nailed in the head by a beer bottle and she had to get stitches into her scalp. The scar was gnarly and had scared the hell out of them when they carted her off to the hospital. She was lucky they didn't hit her just right or gave her a concussion. She didn't like being the mean cop at a party, but she wasn't going to put up with that kind of crap, not on her night off and his.

Jin nodded at Evelyn when she verified that she was indeed uninjured. He smirked through his anger let go of her shoulders, a smug expression flickering briefly on his features. "I've been hit with worse than that before. I'll be fine Ms. Turner, thank you." He said with a near arrogant air before glancing in the direction of the one who had thrown the bottle. There was jeering and loud voices coming from the group of lowerclass colledge boys. They were all at the very least buzzed but most of them were past drunk. His anger continued to build as he watched them acting as though nothing really had happened. The crowd around Evelyn and Jin was still giving them room, concerned and curious gazes occasionally turning their direction. He nearly missed that Evelyn asked if he had seen which one had been stupid enough to throw glass in a bar and he nodded. "Yea, the idiot with the fucking red hat on backwards." Jin tilted his head towards the group to accentuate before pressing his hand into the small of Ms. Turner's back to get her to move foreward. He was moving towards the group of boys, though once they broke through the crowd and to the bar, his hand left her back and he made a beeline for them. James saw Jin at the bar, his eyes narrowed when he noticed Ms. Turner with him. However, he noticed Jin's shirt was wet and a look of calm fury on his features. "Hey, Jin, wha--" He didn't get to finish his sentence as Jin brushed passed him and grabbed a man's shoulder, spinning him around and staring up at him. It was rather odd looking because Jin was about five inches shorter than the other man. The college student with the red cap was your typical bro with bleach blond short hair and popcorn muscle that bulgded out against his too small American flag tank. His jeans were too tight and the snarl he tried to pull off only made him look even more like his IQ was too low to even attend a university. "Can I help you, brah?" He mannaged to ununciate before taking a swig out of a beer bottle. "I think you need to leave." Jin stated calmly, his body tense. Despite being much shorter than the student, he had an aura of authority. He wondered if in his inebriated state, that the student would realize this. Probably not though. Jin was feeling like getting someone expelled tonight. The boy and his squad laughed, red cap making a rather large show of it before setting his beer down and shoving Jin's shoulder. "Why should I? Maybe you should step off before someone gets hurt?" There were shouts of 'kick his ass', and 'kill 'im' coming from the other boys, their amuesment only fueling Jin's need for revenge. "Are you threatening me?" Jin cocked his head to the side, his expression daring the boy to do something he would regret. In fact, Jin was hoping for it. James saw this happening and his eyes grew wide. His mental thought process consisted of: 'Oh, nononononoonooooope'. He knew Jin had a terrible anger problem when idiots were concerned, espeically when they risked the injury of a woman. He made to move over and drag Jin away but a group of giggling girls blocked his way and every attempt he made to move around them was met with them thinking he was flirting... The douchnozzle of a frat bro glanced back at his companions and smirked. "Duh." He said before throwing a sloppy punch towards Jin. The kid was drunk and though strong, his movements were obvious and clumsy. Jin stepped to the side and used one foot to trip the fool. He stumbled and crashed into the bar with his cheek bone. Red cap recovered and looked positively furious as he charged at Jin. Shouts broke out as people scrambled to get out of the way and Jin was taken to the ground. There was broken glass on the ground and it tore into his left shoulder as he rolled out from under red cap and grabbed his wrist, twisting it upwards and behind his back in an awkward manner that caused the student to yelp. Jin's body already ached from the impact but he hadn't realized the injury to his back yet. Jin thought he had bested the boy and looked up to ask for securty to remove the fool, however, red cap's squad was not so pleased with their drunken friend being bested by a "short asian asshat". Someone grabbed Jin from behind and pulled him off of red cap and before he had time to really fight back, a fist was in his gut...

Evelyn's eyes went a bit wide when Jin started talking with an air of confidence that she wasn't sure was good. Men usually got that puffed up sort of tone when they were ready to start something. She had broken up enough fights between her brother and past exes to know where this was going. Luckily, her field office made sure all their agents were trained in hand to hand, in case one of their arrests ever got physical. Now she didn't have to be the annoying girlfriend in the corner yelling at people to stop instead of going for help. She let Jin finish his spiel about being hit with worse. She got that, but he didn't seem to have a cool head at the moment. When he pointed out the guy, she saw he was one of the bigger dudes in here, no doubt an athlete of some kind. "Hey Dr. Hyun, I don't think you should--" She was drowned out by people in the crowd talking about what was going down while he moved her forward towards the bar. She was surprised by the action, enough so that she didn't have time to process another voice calling out to Jin as he went for the frat boys. She saw that the boys in the bar were just feeding off Jin's aggression, looking like a pack of wild dogs getting ready to turn on a cat. 'Well shit...' She thought, sparing a look at the security at the door who was talking to a pretty college girl with her chest practically spilling out of her tank top. She gave a puff of air and fought past the crowd, knowing no good would come of this. She caught sparse images of the fight through people there, Jin standing shorter than the frat and looking pissed. She didn't think the man had that kind of anger in him, but she was discovering new things everyday it seemed around here. When they hit the floor people began jeering and shouting, some cheers referring to Jin as a 'Jackie Chan' and 'a ninja'. She knew people were just being drunk idiots, though the fact that people thought this was funny or entertaining were being assholes. When Jin was hauled up by the frat's buddies that wanted in on it, she felt her gut tense in apprehension and quickly shoved her way through. "Police! Get out of the way!" She snapped to a group of students in her way that parted like the red sea. She knew it was wrong to use the wrong title for her job but she was a cop in a sense only with more federal juristiction and investigation. She moved to the man punching Jin and taking dirty shots while his body grabbed him from behind, instantly grabbing the boy by the shirt and hauled him back some with luck. "Get off him--" The boy threw an elbow at her to get her off. Big mistake. She caught the elbow, winging his wait to bring him face first into a stool that probably book his nose. She kept him pinned and leaned in a little as the boy effortfully struggled against her despite the pain in his face and arm that were twisted at an odd angle. "Hold still, hun. You're about to take a trip to the drunk tank..." She said with a hint of annoyance before she pulled out her badge and showed it to the boy that had hold of Jin. She looked at the man behind Jin with a glare that looked damn near venomous. "Turn him loose or I'm break those hands kid." Then she looked to the one on the floor and shoved him back down with the heel of her boot. "And stay down. All of you are looking at expulsion for assaulting a professor and an officer." She hissed before a few men from security came over with her friend Anthony who looked shocked that all of this had gone down. They rounded up the boys to wait on the cops but before they took to throwing Jin out Evelyn shook her head. "It's fine. He's fine." She said and the security guard gave her a warning about 'controlling her man' before walking off to handle the rowdier group that got their assess handed to them. She huffed, straightening up some ignoring the stares and cheers from drunks around her. Soon their attention was drawn away by the band coming out, her brother oblivious from all the noise what went down. She was glad for that since Patrick would have gotten himself arrested over her. She went over to Jin to speak to him, but Anthony stopped her looking a bit annoyed. "Mind telling me why you're getting in bar fights?" He grumbled, getting a roll of her eyes from Eve. "I was breaking one up thank you very much. Maybe I care about my brother's night going well?" She joked some before pulling away and going to see if Jin was injured. He had taken a hit to the gut and she could see blood from his shoulder staining his shirt's side. "Got your anger out? You almost got your ass handed to you." She said in a bit of a shout over the loud music, before her brow furrowed some in concern at the blood there. "You're shoulder is bleeding. Come on, the manager's office should have a first aid kit." She said, since she knew better than to leave a bleeding man that had been drinking and possibly sustained a decent few punches to his gut after the two groupies flanked him.

Stars were in Jin's eyes. He blinked, the air having rushed out of him and he had no chance to breath again before he felt pain to his side again. Rather suddenly, however, his assailaint was no longer in front of him and he had a front row seat to seeing Evelyn in action. She had the little fight he had helped caused under control in a matter of seconds. It was a rather impressive scene and he might have felt a little more satisfaction at seeing the other group hauled away if he didn't feel like a fool for having a woman keep his ass from getting beat. He was supposed to be the one to take care of the woman. When the grip holding him back was let go, Jin stumbled forward and then stood up straight. He felt pain through the adrenalin as he began to calm, the soudns of the bar rushing back to him from his tunnel vision state. He pressed his left side and his nose wrinkled some in displeasure. He was forsure going to be growing a pleasant shade of violet. He hoped they didn't fracture any of his ribs. His back felt sore but he didn't really pay it much much, his attention being pulled towards James who nearly shoved a girl out of his way to finally get through to his friend. Evelyn seemed to get caught up with dealing with security and another man that she seemed to know. James had a look of concern on his featues but Jin just kept waving off his words of concern and scolding. "What the hell, Jin? What was that all about?" James questioned, grabbing Jin by the shoudler to keep the injured man from turning away from him. Jin shrugged his hand off with a bit of discomfort and just shook his head. "It's not a big deal. I was just trying to get those idiots to leave after they started throwing bottles." Jin tried to explain, though he muttered in Korean after about "idiotic assholes" along with a variety of other rather nasty insults. James wanted to pry more but he knew better than that with Jin. If Jin didn't want to delve into detail about something than he wouldn't no matter how hard you tried. Only when he was ready would information be revealed. "How about a drink though?" Jin asked James who rolled his eyes and smiled. He didn't reply but turned back to the bar to get Jin something good. He was at the wrong angle to have noticed the blood stain blooming on Jin's back and Jin was not one to mention how sore that fight hat made him. "Fuck, I'm getting old." He grumbled before he turned and came face to face with a cute girl, her look of disaproval obvious. He attempted to look sheepish when she spoke but it came across as more unconcerned amusement. "I thought I was doing pretty well, all things concidering." Jin stated, his expression making it hard to tell if he was being serious or not. He did blink and a flicker of surprise crossed his features with Ms. Turner stated that he was bleeding. He glanced at his shoulder and saw a slowly growing dark spot through his shirt. "That would explain why it hurts." He stated simply before following Evelyn to the managers office. He really didn't feel he had a choice in the matter. He stayed close behind her in the crowd, the music from the band starting up making it nearly impossible to hear much of anything else at the moment. When they made it to the office, he shut the door behind him, shutting the din of the band out enough so that a regular conversation could be held, if desired. "I didn't mean to drag you into that." Jin said, though he felt sort of like an ass for having to in the first place. ~~~ James found himself alone again at the bar, now holding two drinks and looking like a double fisting alcoholic. He frowned and found a corner he could lean up against, setting Jin's beer down on a ledge. This wasn't the first time he had been abandoned by his friend in a bar...

Evelyn was glad that Jin followed without arguing though his comment about doing well for himself did make her smile a bit. He was a prideful guy, maybe a bit stubborn or cocky. But that wasn't a bad thing necessarily. She usually got along with confident men, though she had never been around educational professionals. He was young for a professor and had a lot of merit in his studies and research. Physics seemed to be his focus, or at least that was what his files said. They never said anything about him being a partier. In fact, it seemed like he would be a quieter more academic guy. Instead he seemed like a working college guy, something that didn’t date him as much as his title did. But then again he had a lot of money, that was obvious by the fact that records showed his family was loaded. Intelligent and rich were a good combination for those seeking to prosper…no doubt his family name helped him in most situations like evading FBI research… She gave him a smile when he spoke up about being sorry for involving her in that. Instead of an immediate answer she motioned for him to take a seat on the desk, knowing the owner would be fine with it. The bar manager was an old friend from college that dropped out to work for the bar he moonlighted at. “Don’t worry about it. What’s a Friday night without a bar fight or two?” She said before turning and grabbing the first aid kit from on top of the filing cabinet. “And you did handle yourself well. I don’t think those frats knew what hit them.” She joked a bit at the last bit, since she was sure they would never have thought a professor could kick ass. She made her way back to the desk, rolling up her sleeves as she motioned to his shirt. “Now...rules say I can’t treat you without your consent. Would you mind taking off your shirt and letting me see your shoulder? I can help you out and see if you need stiches?” She asked, wondering what he would say since they only really spoke a few times and once had been over her following him…He seemed to be in a friendlier mood, as she did, but this was still an awkward situation, regardless of her doing her job…
