Luca didn't notice her getting redder till she made the comment about not smacking him. Honestly he wouldn't mind if he embarrassed her or made her mad. He could be a bit--what was the word Eli used?--thick headed? Or was it vapid? Either way, he knew sometimes he said too much and it got him trouble. But why would she get red about a silly thing like that? He wanted to ask her as his brain tried to piece together why she was getting shy all of a sudden. Sure she was a shy person but he was worried he made her feel uncomfortable. He leaned back a bit in his seat, wondering if it was because he was too much in her personal space as he talked about the pictures. However, mention of ice cream made his eyes close as he gave a happy clap, just thinking about ice cream. He opened his mouth to say something more about how the idea was a good one, but his sensitive ears picked up the mumbled last bit. He paused wondering if he missed something. 'I maybe wouldn't mind it as a date' Her words, soft and sweet were brought to his mind and instantly Luca's face fell. His eyes sprung open, him just looking at her blankly as his brain shut down a moment. His shock had left his mind playing catch up, mostly because he hadn't expected a pretty girl like her to think like that. After all, they hardly knew each other and he didn't want to rush things with her if they were better as friends. Or that had been his intentions in not hitting on her. He found her very cute and liked spending time with her so far, but he felt wrong and like he might make her uncomfortable if he came on to strong. But instead she was talking like she wouldn't mind spending time with him as more than just a friend. He sat there a moment, a slow blink coming to him as his thoughts began to reach his expression. A blush hit his cheeks and for the first time in front of her he turned bright red from his neck to his cheeks. An awkward laugh bubbled it's way to his lips as he tried to maintain a nonchalant look. He was caught off guard and unsure of how to process the way his heart beat sped in his chest. "Fey that's uh--I actually--I wouldn't mind if we--" But just as he finally got his words to surface, his stammering was cut off by a hand landing on the table. The rattling of a small butter dish there snapped Luca out of it and he looked over to see his younger brother Lupin glaring down at him. It was obvious the boys were related just by height alone, both a towering six feet with a more gangly build and similar features, like the shocking blue eyes. However, Lupin's hair was a soft brown color with hints of blonde hilights and he seemed to be a bit more bulky than Luca where muscle was concerned. "Lu Lu you ass! I was worried you were dead and instead I find you stuffing your face with--" Luca's cheeks stayed red, but mostly because he was called his childhood nickname infront of a girl he was just having a more serious conversation with. "Lupin. Not in front of Fey." Lupin's eyes flicked to Fey when he was interrupted and he gave her a raise of his brow that was obviously meant to be a challenge for her to interrupt him or make a fuss. Luca didn't like that look and gave his brother an apologetic smile and a laugh as he tried to smooth this over. "I was going to call you back. I just forgot my phone in the--wait! How the hell did you find me?" Luca's surprise faded into irritation as he rose, looking his brother square in the face. Lupin rolled his eyes and pushed Luca down by his shoulder into the seat and sat next to him. "Father has your phone tracked Lu Lu. Also we're family. I can track your scent for miles, dumbass." He gave Luca an irritated look before folding his arms. "You can't keep running off like this. The reason you're on rations and lockdown is because you keep sneaking off. Keep this up and I'll have to go to these stupid Subalpha meetings by myself." Luca's expression fell in surprise and then he gave an awkward smile that made Lupin's eyes narrow. "You forgot didn't you?" Luca gave a small sigh. "Yes, but I can't go to that dinner. I'm hanging out with someone who can't exactly sit down with a group of Subalpha's in the area. You know how they get around humans-- let alone the pretty ones." Luca said before looking to Fey with a softer look. "Sorry my brother was just leaving. Now about what I was saying--" He began but Lupin spoke up before he could finish. "No no. You are not backing out. Why would the give a hell if a human came? She looks harmless." Lupin looked her over before he offered her a half smirk, one that was roguish in comparison to Luca's more cheerful smiles. "So you're one of Lu Lu's friends that's been keeping him in trouble lately? Makes sense." He said before he offered her a hand to shake. "Lupin Hunt. Second born of Enforcer Romulus Hunt. Lucais's younger, but more responsible, brother. He never let's me meet his friends he keeps going on about, so it's nice to see what kind of company he keeps." He said but Luca gave him a small "hey!" before elbowing him. "She's not a trouble maker and quit making me sound like a delinquent. Fey if you want him gone just say the word." He said since his brother was being an ass on purpose, no doubt to keep Luca in sight so he would have to go to that dinner with him or at least get his word that he would. Not a fat chance in hell he would. He hated most of the people at those meetings and besides he would have to deal with Sylvie and the others for longer than he cared for... "I didn't call her a trouble maker. I said you were. Besides, I'm just here till you say you'll go with me so I'm not the only one representing the Hunt pack and doing your job." Lupin added to keep his brother off his case. ~~~ Erika listened to what he had to say about why he killed Ada. It seemed retirement wasn't good enough for the old vampire then. She agreed he was an asshole but it was hard to justify killing your leader before you were turned. That would be hard to swing to the others but she was sure that Viatas had his ducks in a row. If not, she would be there to help the information stick and help eliminate doubt. "Then patricide because he was a prick. Makes sense...even if it was quite early. You're awfully young to take ownership of a house. So I assume your Elder will have to step in till you are ready." She said but her brow rose at mention of this vampire and leaving him up to her discretion. Why care for the human's life and not the vampires? "It will be done then. I would like his file and anything you wish me to take with me once this trial is done. I want to be sure all your secrets are secured." She said since she didn't want this plan backfiring on the poor boy. She rather liked that he had a spine... ~~~ Lilura hear the guards behind her and it gave her some comfort, even as Korro flew and caught up to her. She knew wandering this house wasn't safe but she had to find this witch and what happened. How could she sleep knowing something fishy had gone on and no one was being completely honest with her? It sickened her to think she wouldn't solve this case, even if Ada didn't want it. It was her duty to give this her all and she would be sure she did. Lilura emerged from her thoughts when she realized she was lost and it got eerily quiet. She looked around at the sights infront of her, looking for anything familiar. The only familiarity came from a voice behind her that made her nearly jump out of her skin. She quickly turned around, grabbing the necklace at her neck and being sure she had her ring. She saw the Elder there and felt her blood run cold at the fact that she was alone with her. Korro fluffed and she felt his power gathering in case he needed to jump in and act as a barrier for her. Not that she would let the demon harm himself over her. He was her only friend at this point... Anabella's words made her stomach clench as she looked down at her covered hands for a brief moment. How did she know about her skin? She let the hand drop as she looked cautiously at the old vampire. "Th-Thank you I suppose. I thought you didn't like black but--the skin thing is more of a curse or rather--Look I'm sorry you gave me a fright Elder White. I was looking for your husband and perhaps you to ask a few more questions before this trial." She said trying to keep her voice level and strong despite her urge to bolt. The woman had said she would be safe from her, but how long did those words last? She swallowed down some of her nervousness and smiled softly at the woman. "I-I was able to speak with your son. He didn't seem all that willing to help. He was attached to the snake you see and he knew nothing of that witch. I thought I might try to find them." She said, deciding not to lie to her as that would seal her fate if the woman caught her lying.

Fey waant really paying attention but when it did get quiet, she looked up to see Luca's face that was flushed, and shocked. She looked sheepish a moment before he started stammering. When a hand came down on the table she jumped in her seat a little. This boy was tall, like Luca, a bit different but oddly looked related. When the new guy called Luca 'LuLu' she did her best to hide a smile. Picking up her cup and sipping it. When they boys started arguing in a family like manner she sat quietly since it wasnt her business. When it was brought up that he was in trouble for 'running off' and such made her brow furrow a little. 'Was she getting him in trouble?' She came out of her thoughts when Luca called her pretty and gave her a softer look, she gave him a soft smile before hiding behind her cocoa cup again. She glanced over at Lupin when he said she was harmless and rose a brow. "Looks can be decieving." She stated smoothly, since this new comer was neutral, only Luca, Mina, and V got her emotions honestly. When the young boy introduced himself she took the hand and shook it. "You can call me Fey." She stated smoothly, V had worned her to keep her association to House of White quiet for a bit, when in public. She did glance between the two however a moment before returning to her more quiet reserved nature. With Luca she could be open and excited- this new person...she didn't know nor trust. When the kid seemed that he was going to stick around it oddly made her feel jealous. She had had Luca all to herself and now- she didnt...great. she swallowed her mild emotion and pursed her lips, drinking her cocoa, keeping herself quiet and calm. °~~~°~~~°~~~° When Erika assumed he wasnt ready he chuckled. "No, Elder Lord White said I am ready. I have done all my trials and studies. I have even beaten my final challenge to become Head of House of White. I beat my father." He stated to let Erika know it was what made the house of White so cut throat...he passed her the file as well as May's file, but he didnt release them as she reached for them. "The human lives. I knew her in a past life." He explained smoothly before letting it go for the vampire. He shuffled a few more things before passing her a black folder that looked worn down filled with scribbed notes and such. "This folder had most the plans to assassinate. You can look through it if you wish. I dont mind." He added before standing and looking tired. "The trial will begin soon." He stated glancing at the clock on the wall. °~~~°~~~°~~~° The girl jumped pretty high, her pulse sky rocketing. She rose a brow at that but stayed a small distance away, a cat like smile on her lips. She found it amusing she clasped he little charms, they wouldnt do anything to her honestly, but she hadnt planned on harming the girl. When the girl got off topic she waved the topics away with a hand. "A curse? Hardly. Nothing some good powerful blood cant fix. And I like black and white. So stark and beautiful- empty. " she purred smoothly before snapping her fingers and swiftly Jeremiah was there looking a little frazzled that he had lost her. "There you are my love. You know I dont like to play Hid n seek." He said sounding mildly out of breath. She turned her eyes to him and smiled,"Fetch me the medallion I got from a witch a few centuries ago- the one for curses." She stated but got a strange look in return. When he stood there and didnt play fetch, she rather swiftly had him in the air by his throat, her teeth, all 6 pointed ones looked menacing. "Now before I tear you a new place to breath from!" She screeched- throwing Jeremiah across the hall. He looked supsied but after dusting himself off he went to play fetch. He returned swiftly looking annoyed but she didnt even seem to care, the next words the girl said werent of real importance to her. She bit her wrist and let some blood spill onto the amulet before rubbing it in, making it glow a pretty blue color almost. The metal swiftly absorbing the magic she smiled before moving a few steps forward in a blink of an eye and put it over her head, go drop it around her neck. She stepped back and gave her bird a smile," oh calm your self Demon, it's a helping hand. Accept it." She stated before looking back at the girl. "I gave Ada that snake when he was a child. He used to feed his class mates to it. I have searched the entire house however, I have found no witch but there is a strong smell of dead bodies coming from your room. My dear sweet Rose's room...and it's not your sent." She stated blandly to her at the end to let her know what she was asked.

Luca noticed Fey’s whole demeanor changed and he thought back to when he first met her. She was uncomfortable wasn’t she? He didn’t like the idea of her not feeling okay with his brother around so he gave a small huff. If it got Lupin off his back and meant that Fey would look happy again, he could swing a meeting and take one for the team...As he went over the mental battle in his head with a determined look, Lupin gave her looks can be deceiving comment a smirk. “Oh really? Alright so Ms. Fey May be a trouble maker after all. Good. You’d be boring otherwise. I was wondering how my brother got you to talk to him in the first place.” He said before looking to Luca. “Now tell me why she smells like vampires?” “None of your business, Lupin.” Luca’s quick retort was unexpected and Lupin’s blue eyes narrowed some. “I was just making conversation Lu Lu. You say your friend’s are important so I want to be sure I know them in case you get into trouble because of them. You always make it sound like I’m up to no good when I just want to make sure my brother is safe.” His comment back made Luca huff since he knew Lupin was harmless at best. Just overbearing like his mother. The food came no more than a second later and Luca knew he was going to have to do something now or never. “Fine Lupin. I’ll go to the meeting.” He said, though it was obvious the words strained him. Lupin gave his brother a content look before gesturing his head towards Fey. “And your new...friend?” Lupin filled in since he wasn’t sure what the situation was. Luca gave him a frown before looking to Fey. “Fey you’re welcome to come but don’t feel pressured as I know you have to be home tonight because of family stuff. It’s just a dinner with young wolves from other packs. Totally casual.” He said before looking to Lupin. “Now kindly exit the booth. I promise to catch up with you right before the meeting.” They clasped arms in a way that solidified the agreement before Lupin rose from the seat. He gave Luca a self satisfied smile before then looking to Fey. “Hope you can come Fey.” He said with a wink that made Luca roll his eyes and shoo him off. Lupin exited the restaurant and pinched the bridge of his nose, picking up his phone and texting the person on the other end. ‘Just like you thought. He’s hanging around vampires.’ He sent off before getting into his cab as this visit was supposed to be quick.
Luca huffed and ran a hand through his hair to ease his tension. “Sorry, Lupin is intense but that’s city wolves for you. They like to be the dominant one in the conversation. He’s a good guy though...just mad with me.” He said, before offering her an apologetic smile. “You totally don’t have to suffer through that dinner though. I don’t want to go but anything to get him to leave...you looked a bit uncomfortable.” He gave her a a softer look before taking a bite of bacon. “Now food time!” He chuckles around the bite to make her maybe feel better. ~~~ Erika took the folders, giving Viatas’s a nod and soft smile. “Thank you for your honesty. I will go to prepare for the meeting and allow you time to yourself. This information will be placed under lock and key with my guard. Excuse me if you will.” She said as she rose, offering Viatas a bow before she walked out to her assigned guard to be sure she secured this information before it could make it to the meeting. All the better to keep it out of others mouths and minds. ~~~ Lilura’s blood ran cold when she mentioned immortal blood. That was an offer she could never accept, especially if she cared to not end up hunted by the magical world. Immortal practitioners were rightfully dangerous and should be hunted. “I understand that immortal blood is powerful but powerful blood is forbidden to me. I apologize.” She said before her eyes widened at the appearance of Jeremiah who got slung like a rag doll. She wanted to run at that very moment and felt Korro throw up an aura of danger to protect her if she needed it. Instead she was surprised to find that the Elder brought her the blue stone she was looking for. It made Lilura wince when she put her blood into the stone and the news that she got this from an old witch made her worried. Black magic was powerful and already she delved too close to that line already. When she went to put it around Lilura’s neck, Lilura tensed and Korro hissed with a low growl from a bird throat. It was a warning that he would attack if she harmed her. However, being told to hush made the crow fluff up in indignation. When the stone hit her neck, Lilura let her hand graze it. She could feel an odd power dormant in it but her confusion rose. Why would she give her this? “What is this for? I don’t-“ She said but stopped when she talked about the snake. So her room smelled like death and Ada’s snake ate humans...was she saying the snake ate the witch? Her face fell, her eyes sinking to the floor. That was it then...a dead witch in a snake and Ada not giving him any clues. At least the Elder was being honest...even if she killed her son. “Ah...the snake ate him...I could maybe reach him...if he isn’t digested...” She huffed before pinching her nose. Though the news of this Rose woman made her frown some. She was in her room but never saw this woman. “Rose? Who is she?” She asked, wondering why the Elder was being oddly nice and honest with her.

When the food arrived, Fey waited for Luca to eat before starting. She had manners after all, and wanted to look like she did. Fey seemed to be thinking over the idea of going to the meeting, when Lupin was leaving. She gave him a bit of a stiff nod in farewell but didnt say anything otherwise. When he mentioned her feeling uncomfortable she rose a brow but after a second giggled, lightening up pretty quickly and eating her food. "Well, I cant let you suffer alone. Besides, it could be interesting to see." Shw stated to him between bites of dripping pancakes. She added so much syrup is was almost soup. "I do have to say though, if your brother does come looking for trouble, I will contact you first. Cant have the Hunt pack and the House of White at odds." She said with a grin since she woudlnt like that- not that it would stop her from seeing Luca if she could help it. °~~~°~~~°~~~° When the girl questioned her, she rose a perfect white brow in response. "The next curse you are forced to make, the blood will absorb the backlash. Wouldn't you have liked to know that a soul stone- full and the blood of a very old vampire makes for one hell of a sponge?" She stated an airy giggle followed it. "Rose was Ada's late wife. She was...unfortunate." stated Jeremiah, however that for a quick tempered remark from Anna. "She was murdered...wolves slaughtered my pretty girl...I hand picked her for Ada, she was strong and made up for his flaws." She stated sadly looking to Jeremiah like he was supposed to comfort her. He stepped up smoothly and wrapped around around her. "Indeed. Like I am for you, my love. We both are our better halves." She cooed making Annabella sigh softly as she hugged the vampire. "Are you sure you wont join my house? You would have the prettiest red eyes...and a silvery white hair...just splendid." She stated talking to Jeremiah as if looking at the witch made her want more children. He gave a soft chuckle,"she already declined the invitation my sweet. Dont pressure the girl now."

Luca was rather surprised she agreed to go with him to the dinner but he rather liked the idea of having her there. She wouldn't be in any danger there as humans were always safe, even if her vampire scent would turn some heads. Luca wouldn't let anyone mess with her though and he was sure she could handle herself if anyone tried. Her comment about Lupin causing trouble between the House of White and the Hunt pack made Luca give a chuckled through his nose because his mouth was full of pancake at the moment. After he swallowed he gave a quick shake of his head. "Trouble? Lupin? Nah, he's harmless. Trouble making is my job." He gave her a wink before he decided to clarify what he meant by harmless. Lupin most certainly wasn't harmless in the sense that he couldn't pick up a car and chuck it at someone if he needed to, but harmless in the sense that he trusted his brother wasn't out to do harm to others for the hell of it. Some packs liked to stir trouble and some in the Hunt pack openly supported killing vampires to make up for injustices. Lupin had his faults and misconceptions, but so did Luca. They both agreed in giving alliances a try with people that seemed like they were good, genuine people. "Like I said, city wolves like to be the big badass in the room but are really just show offs with soft insides--or sometimes they are hard all the way through. Anyways, there's always this bravado you need to interact with them and everyone is so honest it's almost insensitive at times. Not that I hate the honesty part, but it makes it hard to swallow at times." He said since his first run in with these people was...interesting. He was only a pre-teen when they threw him in with the other younger wolves to figure city pack life out. Most were disrespectful because of his lineage and others were very clear that he didn't belong in their circles. The few he thought he could rely on turned out to be just manipulating the truth for their benefit. He would prefer to have as little to do with these people as possible, but perhaps with Fey there things would be a bit better? He did feel a bit of guilt creep up at her mentioning tensions though between the two families. Seems she didn't know the whole political story then...Well if she was going to be around wolves for a night she did have to know what she was walking into then. "And besides Lupin really wouldn't have to stir up much trouble with the House of White. The Hunt pack got caught up in some....trouble a few years ago. Some of our allied pack members--the Falk pack-- kind of--well they did end up killing a rather prominent woman from the House of White. Most people in my pack think it was a set up and deny it to this day-- and honestly our Alpha, Remus, is still kind of pissed about it since the wolves died before a trial could even be had." He said before his face fell some in an innocent look. It probably wasn't nice hearing that a friend had a family fued thing going on with your family, but he was determined to be honest with her. He would just clarify that he really didn't have stock in all this and didn't care about petty arguments that didn't involve him or people he was close to. "I don't know what to believe honestly but I don't hold it against you or anyone in your house. I'm more of a judge them after I meet them kind of guy so no worries here about being all weird about it. Okay?" He said before his attention turned back to his food to perhaps get the negative talks out of the room and situation. "But, I'm actually glad you'll be there. It will be nice to have someone I actually like there. So if you have any questions or anything don't hesitate to ask. I can try to fill you in on anything I can before or after or even during." He said as she looked at her drenched pancakes and gave a bit of a smirk at her sweet tooth. ~~~ Lilura's brows furrowed at the news that this was a soul stone. She had read about these before. They were used for ritual casting by black practitioners back in the day to off set truly horrible spells that required a lot of power. However, they were particularly potent once they had a sacrifice applied to them and could be used to even extend life if they practitioner was powerful enough. She had never seen one as they were forbidden at the academy. Just holding one infused with ancient vampire blood was already shocking enough. Why would the Elder trust her with a relic like this? "Yes...I suppose it would have made my spell casting easier due to the field I chose." She said and got a caw of annoyance from Korro. "Not that I regret my choice." She added before she was filled in on who Rose was. The news that she was murdered by wolves and the obvious emotional impact it had on Annabella made Lilura's brows knit in empathy. Poor woman...It must have been a case that emerged before she was hired. She was still fairly new to her job after all. It seemed like the violence and problems between werewolves and vampires wasn't ever going to end. "I'm sorry to hear about her passing. That's terrible." She said, but something in her mind did register she should look into this later. Maybe it could give her more information about Ada? Besides, a murder by werewolves must have meant Ada made enemies outside this house too, people that might have helped conspire to kill him. She blinked when the offer to join came up again and Lilura gave an awkward and apologetic look. "No offense meant Lady Elder, but I can't accept. The force has a strict no vampire policy and I rather like my job. And our Sorcerer Superior has strict laws forbidding us from partaking in anything that extends our natural life span. Corruption through magic and a long life to get more powerful and what not..." She said since she had had that lecture a thousand times over. There were doctrines in place that all witches and warlocks had to follow else they were subject to hunting or imprisonment. Most were the fluffy rules of do not use magic to kill, do not use magic to manipulate others against their will, and do not consort with the demons of the deeper hells. Those were the big nasty ones that could serious do damage on the world and ones psyche if you tried to bind yourself to one. Korro already was a stretch, but his particular class of demon was neutral enough it was allowed through some circles. "I hate to be rude but I don't exactly know where I am...Could you point me in the direction of Rose's old quarters?" She asked since she was honestly exhausted and felt like she should attempt to commune with the witch, even if she knew the effort would be fruitless. After all, Ada said his mother bested him and wouldn't divulge who else was involved. She couldn't prove a damn thing without evidence and this place was unsurprisingly cleaned of it. Someone obviously set Ada up to die with this curse and soul stone, even attaching his soul to a snake. But the only culprit was a now dead witch with hidden motives and an Elder who cleaned up the mess...

She listened to his joke about who made the trouble and smirked, since it made sense. She listened to him talk about things with other werewolves and she nodded. "So should I be quiet and reserved or should I tell them how I feel about matters?" She asked a bit bluntly to him since she wasnt too sure how she was supposed to talk there. When he mentioned ths Falk pack she pursed her lips ever so slightly. "No, I remeber that incident. I was young but we are taught that everything is a lesson." She stated not sounding overly thrilled to be reminded. "And yes, it was sad that things couldnt have been handled properly." Shw stated before listening to him tell her that he wasnt judging by that. That made her smile softly before taking a drink. "Good, I like to judge the person for who they are, not those family." She stated softly before eating more food to hide the slight blush. "I'll ask if a question comes up, but I'm happy to suffer through it with you." She giggled. She enjoyed today, even if the house was on lock down. °~~~°~~~°~~~° At the girls' awkward decline, yet again she pursed her lips at the news they had strict rules and such making her roll her eyes. "If they have a problem they can address it directly to me. I want to see them object to my choices." She stated a bit in a hostile manner but after a short exhaled breath she smiled a fanged smile at the demon. "I wouldn't even mind you keeping your demon around. Perhaps keep it in mind, come visit me some time, if you have questions." She said with a smile before motioning the witch to follow her down the hall, back to Rose's room. Everyone they passed about jumped out of their skins, bowing near to the floor to the small pale woman. It wasnt until Viatas was seemingly waiting by the door of Rose's room did he raise a white brow at the Elder walking the witch around, Jeremiah in tow. The boy smiled at them, bowing low before standing. "Well, I was going to ask what happened to your guard but that answers everything. I was to inform you that you are required by our trial to attend as a witness, if called upon. As well as for the police matters- if they ask. However after the trial you will be expedited out of the manner for our custom of the Rite of Funeral for our Previous Lord. So please finish what you need done then you will be escorted to the main conference hall." He explained smoothly as he looked at Jeremiah. "You and I will be presiding." He stated a bit more dryly since he was much less formal with family. Jeremiah chuckled but nodded,"Yes yes, as the little lord requests." He joked before giving Anna a kiss on the forehead. "Enjoy playing with your witch, and please no more killing our children love, they like living." He stated before leaving the Elder there with the witch. The girl had no worries from the elder so they left it be, she was doting on her, so Jeremiah saw no issue with leaving the babysitting gig to the girl. °~~~°~~~°~~~° It was a short bit later when they were all called to a large room near the center of the house. It was darker but it was for trials, so rarely used anymore. Everyone had a seat assigned to them, and Ada's seat was taken by Viatas, an added chair was for Jeremiah at the very front of the room on a raised Dias. Things were being prepared and people were being put into place. Room: pin.it/h4ytuuqldspxdm

Luca was a bit surprised at how forgiving minded she was when she was raised with a House that seemed intolerant of others. His mother’s pack tried to be more accepting but they had a natural distrust of vampires. His father’s pack, well, they didn’t trust anyone that didn’t have wolf or human blood. And even the humans were a stretch...He smiled softly at her blush and her admittance that she was glad to share in his misery. “Well, you’re pretty interesting then Fey. I don’t know many people willing to commiserate with someone else.” He said but he was happy that she was willing to be there with him. It felt nice to have someone on his side for once. He gave it some thought on her question about how to act. Honestly, he would just have her be herself. He liked her just the way she was after all. “Whatever makes you most comfortable. I mean honesty is key with werewolves. The minute you show Dishonesty through actions or words is the moment we start getting antsy. That’s not to say tell them everything. You have the liberty of divulging information about you or not. I’ll support whatever you feel like telling or sharing or keep any intrusive questions off you. Also good you didn’t bring a sword. Bringing a weapon to these things can send the wrong message.” He said since wolves didn’t bring weapons to meetings because it showed you were looking for fight or expected one, both insults no one took lightly. “ I’m making it out to be worse than it is. Werewolves have become more accepting of humans since the war. Our numbers were really dwindled by the slaughter of our kin so we had to branch out—you know to keep genetic issues out of the lines. Humans are acceptable partners and are more welcome to join city packs. There will be a human or two there tonight, a girlfriend of Seth’s and I believe Camilla’s bond mate—husband—is human.” He said, not meaning to go into a biology lesson but it was important for her to know no one meant her harm. After all, the younger generation was more accepting than the purist wolves of their forefathers. They needed to find people to carry on family lines and children, no matter their lineage, were always born wolves. The gene was dominant and wouldn’t allow any other strain. However, pregnancy was still rare and the rarity doubled with human livers since they died before the wolf did. Bonds were for life after all and most chose not to move on after a bond mate died. ~~~~ Lilura found her attempts at convincing her to join the vampire house different and strange since she was sure there must have been an ulterior motive. No vampire readily welcomed trouble from an entire coven of witches brought down on them. The Sorcerer Superior was not a man to be trifled with, especially since he was the embodiment of magic itself, an elder wizard that unlocked all fascist of magic, including dark and light. They were the keepers of knowledge of centuries, hand picked by the previous sorcerer, and a powerful foe to have. “I’ll keep it in mind.” She said, though she knew it was best to never let that be uttered in public. She followed the woman back to her room and was rather surprised to find the young human there. When he spoke of the trial and what purpose she served, Lilura nodded. “I’ll endeavor to help in any way I can.” She then went into the room and sat to talk with the woman Elder. After all, Korro said the witch was long gone and couldn’t be reached...there was a lead dead in the water... ~~~ Erika took her seat in the main room, finding she was next to an odd witch who kept to herself. This must be the one from the police, the one she had been warned about through her intel before. She saw the girl nervously letting her fingers brush the feather’s of her raven in her lap. Seems the girl wasn’t all that confident in her investigation. After all, Viatas, the real killer took a seat above everyone and not on the trial floor. Her red eyed flicked to Viatas and she gave a softer smile at him. How nice and refreshing to see a human in a seat of power in front of a group of vampires older than himself. The boy played his cards well...she would have to advise Othello to be his ally. It could mean wonders for the world...

She listened to his words on how to behave, as herself. She could do that, she liked that kind of honesty, made for easy communication. She nodded with a smile that more humans would be there. "Well this should be a walk in the park then." She said setting her fork down since she was done with her large amount of food, sipping her drink again. "Breakfast was good. Thank you. What time is this meeting?" She asked since he said dinner but it was still early. °~~~°~~~°~~~° Anna stayed and chatted with the witch, finding her demon humerous to say the least before she decided to wander off back to her own wing since her keeper was busy. °~~~°~~~°~~~° V caught Erika's light smile, have gave her a small nod in return before turning his attention to the room that was almost full. Jeremiah was enjoying wine as he sat a little behind Viatas at the large table, seeming to be supervising instead of participating. As the final seats were filled, Viatas stood. "This evening Is the trial of Ada White, former lord of the House of White. As his heir, as a human, have requested Former Spouse of the Elder Lord Annabella of The House of White, to sit in and assist." He said with all the lofty formalities. Jeremiah stood at his name and grinned at the people, more to show with his almost rusty colored eyes he was an elder as well, just partially more saner. Both sat and V hit a javelin on the table to start the trial. The doors were closed and the doors were barred shut. "Ada is dead. The Elder has acknowledged her part in this as well. I openly say it and with out contest." Stated Jeremiah before he moved to the trial seal in the middle of the floor, though he didnt sit. "As we all know Elder Annabella has a particular way of doing things, when this displease her, she shows it in a very...hostile manner." He stated smoothly. Heads bobbed in acknowledgment since it was a know truth there. "So with out any contest, Elder Annabella had been the one to make the final kill on Former Lord Ada. I act as a witness of this as well as an advocate to the Lady Elder as her Guardian." Hw stated before bowing lightly and taking his seat. Having said his peice. Viatas nodded and jotted some notes down. After a few minutes Viatas motion for Erika to come forth. "As customary, an upstanding member of the honored Everleigh house will read the charges that were held against Ada White. Former Lord White. For his past, present and his future for his Funeral Rite. His sins must be known." He stated a bit of irritation in his tone but it was obvious, that they had held no love for one another.

Luca gave a happy nod when she seemed content with it or at least not worried. He was a wreck as a kid getting ready to go meet up with wolves he didn’t know. Thankfully she seemed more calm. He tucked into his breakfast with some small talk before he was able to relax and polish off his coffee. Her question was expected and the thanks wasn’t necessary but he took it. “No problem. And thanks for the recommendation. As for the meeting it’s at 6. We have some time though so we might as well go chill. Maybe get a nap in.” He picked up his phone, shooting a quick text to Alarik. “I was thinking we could borrow a place from Alarik, since it might be the easier option.” He said before giving her a curious look. “If you’re cool with that?” He asked before he got a ping back from Alarik, saying he would meet them there with the keys and an address. ~~~ Erika and Lilura has different expressions to the news of the verdict or what the House of White put forward. Lilura looked unsure of not unconvinced while Erika simply nodded at the news. Two had very different opinions of the case and the truths behind it. Lilura didn’t speak however as Ada had said he wished it to just be a case of his mother murdering him. Why would they leave the bit about the stone and the witch out? The evidence that now hung around her neck and was already tainted with the death of the witch in the belly of that snake. She huffed, knowing fully well the only evidence she had was this stone with no ties. And she was in a room full of vampires that were okay with a mother killing her son...She watched the red haired vampire, Erika, rose when she was told to speak Ada’s sins. That was so strange and intrusive to her. Why would they need to sully the dead more at this point? It wasn’t like their crimes could be tried or forgiven at this point...no punishment would come for Ada being a horrid person. Not when the vampires held their secrets so closely. So they would just blame it on the Elder and move on... Erika went to the floor, curtsying in her black dress with a precise poise that obviously came from rigorous etiquette practice. Funerals for vampires were very important affairs after all...”I, Erika Everleigh from the main house of the Everleigh Clan have come to represent my house in expressing the charges against him. As commanded, his sins will be laid forth to you all...” She said even if only she and Viatas knew the truth of the matter that this was an addendumed version. The Everleigh knew better than to jeopardize relationships with information that could be damaging so they allowed the Elders and new Lord or Lady to make some cuts unbeknownst to the peons and other house members. It was just good business... “Former Lord Ada White is charged with 4 counts of sabotage with intent to politically burry the lower houses of Du Monte and Bathory. He receives charges of blackmail and subterfuge towards Clans Blackwater, Griffin, Everleigh, and Imprei for alliances and favors. He is charged with amending legal documents upon their signing and the deaths of agents responsible for acquiring information on his actions. He is charged with abuse of his subjects and title underneath the House of White’s name, including the kidnap of humans and vampires for political gains. And finally, my lords, he receives a charge of murder.” She allowed the room to gasp and murmur which seemed for dramatic effect before continuing, though it was because it would have been too noisy otherwise. “The murder of Former Lady Rose White. Ada conspired and plotted her murder and executed it with the help of three werewolves from the Falk Pack.” She walked to the table and placed the evidence folders in front of Viatas as the room spoke in hushed whispers. “Do you accept the charges placed upon Former Lord Ada White, Future Lord Viatas White?” She asked since it was part of the tradition to either convict a body of their crimes and let them be burned and forgotten with their death. It was best not to hold grudges when the dead were gone. Immortal life was petty without reprieve from care in what the dead held over them.

When Luca went about texting Alarik to borrow a place to reat she nodded. That would be okay with her since it was definatly nap time, since she ate a big breakfast. "That's fine, I can definitely use a nap." She said with a small stifled yawn, since it was well past her bed time. "Maybe watch a movie and snore through most of it. Sound like a plan?" She teased since she knew she didnt snore. °~~~°~~~°~~~° As the red head got up and presented the case agaisnt Ada, V's eyes were on her intently, listening for any sort of mess up. As she proceeded smoothly his look turned more to a smile, but it blanked a bit when she said murder. He had already read the file but had to play his part well, meaning he had to act suprised like anyone else. As Rose's name was uttered quite a few people let out sad sounds as the memory was refreshed for them. Her death had hit the house hard, especially the Elder. When the folder of evidence was placed before him he nodded to Erika. "All can be forgiven but one crime. The murder of a follow member- his wife and Governess of The House of White- that can not be forgiven." He stated getting a few almost angry agreements from some others. He looked over at Jeremiah who nodded in agreement. V took a moment to get his mind together before hitting the gavel, more to calm the chatter. "That being said, Miss Lilura, officer please step forward and tell us your findings." Viatas stated as he motioned Erika to take her seat politely.

Luca was glad she didn’t mind his plan since it meant a nap and getting to spend more time with her on equal grounds. That way this was a vampire safe environment and she wouldn’t be messed with by wolves until she absolutely had to deal with them. He liked his thinking on this plan and felt like this was proof he could be smart at times. The invitation to watch a movie and snore made him laugh some at the idea. “Sounds like a plan. I sleep like a rock so snoring isn’t a problem.” He said with a smirk before he got up and went to pay at the counter. They left after that and Luca put the address on his navigation. When they arrived at the apartments, Luca marveled a bit at how expensive it looked but then reminded himself that this was a group of vampires that owned it. He got out of the car and saw Alarik waiting for them, checking his phone and texting someone with a frown on his lips. Even then the frown was so soft it could hardly look angry. “Hey Alarik!!!” Luca’s loud greeting made Alarik jump and nearly drop his phone. He grabbed his chest as if his heart was hammering but gave Luca and Fey a weak smile in greeting. “Hey Luca and Fey. Hope you guys had a good time at the exhibit.” Luca gave an excited nod. “It was totally amazing and Fey is a great photographer.” Luca’s bray made Alarik smile some since the man did like lifting others up. Alarik looked to Fey then and gave her a small nod. “Im Glad. Did you have fun Fey?” He asked before motioning for them to follow. They took the elevator up and found themselves at the door of a rather sleek and clean apartment that was modern in design. A tinted glass windowed wall was to one side, looking out over the city, while expensive looking furniture filled the space. Alarik never liked how sterile his aunt’s tastes in places were but he understood it. Give the agents something impersonal, cold so that no one would discover anything that could harm them. “Thanks again Alarik. I appreciate you loaning us the place for today.” Alarik gave Luca’s thanks a small frown and a shake of his head. “No worries. I heard about what happened at the House of White and Ada’s murder was a shock to us all. I couldn’t be happier than to help Fey out in this troubling time.” He said before giving her outfit a look and then Luca’s. It drew a smile to him since they looked awfully dressed up to be hanging out as friends. Perhaps there was more? “Since you can’t return home Fey, would you like to have clothes sent here? Perhaps something more comfortable from our reserves? If you tell me your size I can find something you may like.” Alarik offered since sleeping in that dress would be a shame since it may damage it. He then looked to Luca and smirked. “And you I have just the thing. Well the only thing since you’re a tree.” He chuckled, drawing a laugh from Luca. “Sounds good for me. We have a dinner to catch later that’s a bit more casual.” Alarik grinned, liking that Luca was hanging out with Fey. She seemed like she could be a good influence on him... “Then I’m on the case. I’ll have the clothes sent here with our courier. Oh and feel free to have any of the food and use the tv. It has every channel including movie, you know, just in case that’s what you’re into.” Alarik said before he cleared his throat, feeling like he was intruding. “I’ll be going then. Enjoy your stay and Fey,” he looked to her with a teasing smile, “if he gives you any crap, call me and I’ll come handle it free of charge.” He said just as a joke to make Luca turn pink. He left to go place the call with his courier and to get back home before he was missed. It was only an hour or so later that the clothes arrived and Luca saw Fey had a few options given to her. No doubt Alarik got picky with what she could wear. “I’m going to go hop in the shower and change. See if you can find a movie and then we can trade out if you need to.” He said since he wanted to give her to opportunity to change if she wanted to or get in the shower next. He knew he had to be sure he kept clean because to packs scents were everything and he couldn’t rightly show up to this meeting smelling. He went into the bathroom and was quick about scrubbing down to mask most of his scent. When he got out he changed into a simple t-short and jeans, a blue blazer included with it all but he couldn’t see himself wearing that to relax in. He came out with the towel around his shoulders, trying to dry his hair. “Any luck with the movie Fey?” He asked, not paying attention to the room since the towel covered a lot of what he could see. ~~~~ Lilura sat with wife eyes as she heard the news that Ada had killed his wife. He killed Rose? She thought about that a moment, remembering how angry the Elder had been over it and wondered if she knew Ada killed her. But she had said the wolves did it.... The gasps in the room signaled that perhaps she didn’t and Lilura gave a hard swallow. Here she was, expected to speak on a case that looked so obvious but she felt was completely wrong. In her heart of hearts, she knew she was taking a loss on this one and it didn’t sit well with her. When summoned to the floor to speak, Lilura jumped out of her thoughts and hesitantly made her way past the vampire leaving the floor. Erika gave her a light smile that made Lilura tense. There was a coldness in that look that she didn’t like at all... When she stepped onto the floor, she only looked at Viatas as the crowd around her would make her nervous. “Well, to begin, Former Lord Ada White was found dead in the Elder’s parlor around 2 AM and the body was reported to police. He was found laying on the carpet with lacerations to his neck and his soul drained from his body. No blunt force trauma or signs of a struggle were found on the body, so it is assumed he was caught by surprise. Upon further investigation, Former Lord Ada White was given a Soul Stone by the Elder that removed his soul and placed it with his snake for motivations unknown. He was contacted and Former Lord Ada White reported his mother was the one to enact the kill through a lethal bite and draining of his blood. The Soul Stone in question that removed the Soul was given by a witch, now dead and digested in his snake. He was unable to be reached for questioning.” She said looking now to Jeremiah and then back to Viatas, her look tense and obviously distrustful. “I must concede to the support of Lord Jeremiah’s testimony...Former Lord Ada White appears to have been murdered by his mother.” She stared but in her tone there was a hint of something she wasn’t saying. While the Elder May have been involved, she still felt someone was pulling the strings. But she had no proof and couldn’t pretend like she did. She bowed some to Viatas before leaving to go take her seat before she could be allowed to leave. “I think the boy did it...” Korro whispered and Lilura Blake’s at him, obviously not convinced. Korro gave his raven wings a little shrug before he tucked his head behind his wing to sleep some while the trial took place.

Arriving at the upscale apartment she seemed at ease, even waved and smiled at Alarik, odd for her but Luca seemed happy to see him, was contagious to smile around him. At the question of the exhibit she nodded enthusiastically,"I did indeed Alarik. Thanks for asking." She stated as they headed up stairs in the elevator. As they came in, she did a quick scan of the apartment, deeming it safe. When the House of White was brought up- as well as Ada she nodded. "Yes, V is handling it accordingly. They house will be on lock down till tonight. I was told to stay clear till that time." She stated before glancing at Luca. "I do appreciate the hospitality though. I'll be sure to let Viatas know you helped out today." Shw said with a grin at the boy to maybe help out the house relations a bit. She did glance back at Luca though to comment," besides it's not too bad hanging out with Luca all the time. " she giggled but went to look around a bit. The offer of clothes made her nod," yes please, I wear a size 4. Anything will do." Ahe explained smoothly not ashamed of her body at all. At his joking tone ahw giggled, watching Luca's reaction. "I can handle it, I assure you Alarik." She joked back before letting Luca go take his shower. Shw looked through some channels and found an action movie that looked entertaining enough, keeping it up on the screen so Luca could decide on it. She hadnt been paying attention to the time before she decided to change into a sweater and Jean's provided. She had however only managed the sweater before Luca came out of the bathroom. pin.it/no4mce3xdb6zt7°~~~°~~~°~~~° Viatas watched her look directly at him, he did his best to look thoughtful as she spoke. As she spoke of facts and the like, he nodded, jotting a few notes down. When her tone suggested something she had left out, he rose a brow almost challenging her tone, but the girl seemed to glare at Jeremiah instead before going to find her seat. He smirked before nodding. "So the witch in question, provided a way to syphon the soul, to give Peony? It was his favorite thing but none will ever know Ada's motives I guess." He stated since the witch was dead. He sighed before calling Mina to the main floor. She jumped from her position and moved swiftly to be in front of the court, standing however. "Mina of house White, Captian of the Guard, why did your lord die with out your death first?" V asked clearly challenging her, she looked ashamed after a moment before raising her chin. "I was told to wait in his office as punishment, I had a hangover and when called upon I didn't look put together. He took six men with him, I was waiting there till the alarms went off." She stated honestly. No point in lying when the boy knew the truth already. V nodded before jotting a note. "Thank you Mina, please resume your position." Hw stated begging a bow from her. He had just forgiven her that crime, that was a big favor. Even if she had a second- she worried for the girl. After a few short words with Jeremiah, he hit the gavel again. "For the crime of murder, Ada shall be burned as his Rite of Funeral. Any one object to this sentance?" He asked loud and clear, when no one answered he nodded, hitting the gavel again. "Very well then thank you all for coming. Lady Erika Everleigh, and Officer Lilura. It was a pleasure." He stated before standing himself and the guests were ushered off the property with hast.

Luca had been wondering what Fey would choose to wear, not that it mattered. She did look pretty in that greenish blue dress but he figured she looked good in everything. It was easy to see hat her line of work kept her in shape. He tried to snap himself out of thinking that way, but it was hard when you had a more animal side to yourself that was concerned with the more baser desires. He knew he couldn’t quiet those thoughts but he would never touch her or get forward with her without her consent. It wasn’t who he was even if the wolf in him liked pretty women and wanted to find someone to bond with. When he didn’t get an answer, he moved the towel from his head to see if she was okay. What he found was hardly what he expected and it showed. She was down to a sweater and her underwear, bent slightly to pull on the jeans which gave him a perfect view that he shouldn’t have had. Red shot from his neck to his cheeks as he felt a pull of attraction in him that by passed what he expected. He could feel his heart hammer in his chest as the feeling overwhelmed his senses with shock for finding her dressing, embarrassment for staring, and enticement to touch even if his will kept him rooted in place. The feeling culminated into a rush of energy that sparked in him this feeling of a pull that sucked the air out of him. His vision blurred some as he tried to steady the rush of feelings and heightened senses that hit him all at once. He had felt this before, but only as a child when he used to lose control of his changes. Thankfully he caught himself just in time and was able to reign it back to the slight changes that could be managed. His eyes sprung open and he realized he had unconsciously moved toward her, in her personal space. It was probably why his senses were full of her sweet and burning smell that didn’t deter him as much as it interested him. His improved vision let him see the the color changes in her supple skin, every dimple and paleness about it. The hand that reached for her rescinded back to himself as he realized his nails had gotten somewhat sharper. He pulled back, his face still red as the towel hit the floor from being brushed off by the dog like ears that poked from his blonde hair, blonde in color with paler hilights to match his natural hair. He gave a nervous laugh and turned around, even if he felt a bushy tail nervously thumping against his legs as it wagged excitedly. “So sorry, Fey. I didn’t realize you were—I should have knocked first. I promise I’m not—I just—Oh I think I left the shower on. One sec!” He said as he hurried back into the he room and shut the door. He allowed his breath to resume to normal, even if his blush still formed on his face and he could still feel the changes there. He had to calm down, he had to get himself together. How embarrassing to lose control of himself in front of her? How could she trust him if he behaved like that? Like some kind of animal? He knew it had been a while since he had been around a girl in any state of undress. But that didn’t excuse the visceral reaction he had. It was odd too. He hadn’t ever had that kind of reaction to someone before and it alarmed him...He groaned, knowing these changes would be around for a bit till he could change back. For the meantime he just was worried he scared her off or drove her off. He knew that he had to look scary with his imposing size, bright blue eyes with animalistic pupils, no doubt sharper canines, claw like nails and ears and a tail. It wasn’t his true wolf form but it was close enough that he felt worried he scared her. He would apologize if she would listen to him but he wasn’t sure she hadn’t left already. The last human he tried to date had been frightened by a half change and ran off so he wouldn’t blame her if she did. ~~~~ Lilura knew that the case was done, even if she felt it shouldn’t have been over. But vampire laws dictated the vampire couldn’t just hang around dead or be sent to a human morgue. If it was an in house affair, she didn’t have the jurisdiction to touch him. Perhaps on behalf of the dead witch but with no one claiming a missing person or wanting to press charges, it could just be reused an accidental death by snake. She got up when ushered out, sparing a last look at Viatas. Could the boy really be the killer? She noticed Korro watching him as well but they weren’t allowed to stand around long before they were ushered out. She went with the guard back to her car, praying that the report she wrote would be enough to convince herself to let this one go.

She froze when she looked up and Luca was suddenly there, even in her state of undress. She didnt move since she was honestly suprised by this. She watched as his face got all red in a deep blush, his shape changing a little bit as he moved towards her quickly but stopped shy of touching her. She didnt flinch however as she looked his pretty blue eyes over. They felt dangerous but soft still. He had ears and a tail, but she was much more interested in his flushed expression. When he stumbled over his words and bolted she blushed herself, realizing she was still in quite the state of undress. She pushed her hair out of the way and finished slipping up her Jeans. She put her hair up un a pony tail before going to knock in the bathroom door, hearing the poor boy trying to calm down. "Luca, you can come out. Im Not scared. Besides I picked out an action movie, wanted to know if you wanted to join me- or spend all day in the batheoom." She teased a bit since he was cute, even in his temporary shifted state. She liked dogs, so the ears and tail were just cute. °~~~°~~~°~~~°

Luca splashed some water on his face to calm the blush and instantly regretted that he let himself get out of control. He leaned against the counter, wondering a moment how stupid he looked bolting like that let alone that he couldn’t control a change like that. Just a scared puppy in front of a harmless girl. He rolled his eyes some, getting annoyed when his tail slapped his leg and startled him. He huffed, wondering if he could just stay in there till he changed back. After all, he looked like a moron at the moment—The knock on the door made his ear swivel to key in on the sound. Even through the wood of the door he could hear Fey talking to him with her sweet soft voice. Her calm tone made his eyes widen some, especially when he couldn’t hear any signs of fear. He turned some to face the door, his confusion spreading as he tried to put together how she wasn’t afraid on him. Did she know what could happen if he would have shifted full wolf in front of her? For all he knew he could have accidentally torn her to bits or hurt her. He knew in his heart he wouldn’t let that happen even if his wolf was a bit more aggressive. It was just part of being of the Alpha line on both sides from his mother and father. It was still a scary thought though, that he could hurt her if he wasn’t careful...Her teasing made his blush stay as he opened the door some, his ears down and his eyes narrowed some in suspicion. He took in her expression, looking for any twitch or sign that she was lying and was just being nice for his benefit. He even gave a small sniff but didn’t smell fear on her or her body producing adrenaline. Besides, her heart rate wasn’t even elevated to the point he would be concerned. His expression eased and he let the door open the rest of the way, stepping out with a bit of a slouch as if to make himself appear less imposing. “Who said I was worried about scaring you?” He said in a more confident tone than he felt, even if that was a bold faced lie. “It’s just embarrassing, getting caught off guard like that. It’s not like you were naked or anything. Anyways now I have to look like a moron for the next few hours or so. It should be gone before the dinner I imagine but...” He glanced off to not keep his eyes on her long as it made his embarrassment rise again, especially since she seemed so calm like always. “If it bothers you I get it. I just want you to know that werewolves can control themselves it’s just when things—well feelings and overwhelming moments get kind of hard to focus since it’s more our natural state.” He said, trying to explain himself as he had been determined to apologize. “Im sorry it happened. I shouldn’t have been so surprised to walk in on you changing. But you’re just so—“ he motioned to her as if he meant to continue that answer but decided he shouldn’t and it was TMI. “I don’t know. That hasn’t happened before. Not since I was a kid. So I guess I’ll have to figure that one out.” He huffed realizing he was rambling. To offset his odd behavior, he gave a smile with his usual confidence before he walked to the couch and sat down. He got comfortable in the pillows, his eyes flicking to her with a hesitance as he tried to act normal even though he looked predatory. “How did you know I like action movies?” He said, his tone lightly joking as he patted the space by him to motion her over as a sort of peace offering from his bumbling words and odd behavior. He wasn’t used to this, not with werewolves or humans. Humans were terrified by sudden changes and werewolves found the idea immature or offensive. Either way, he hoped she truly wasn’t upset with him.
