Through out the ages the war had continued.Immortal being where placed on this Earth to protect humans from the spirit worlds.To defend,uphold and honour them at all times. They weren't meant to turn on their innocents and slaughter them. The very thing humans perceived as ghost were all the more worse. Mediums,pychics where fortunate enough to deal with the seemingly good ghost. What they didn't realise was a spirit didn'tneccesarily mean a ghost,no there where much worse things out there then a ghost. They plaqued the in between,watching waiting for a chance to pounce onto the other world's Then the prophecy had been proclaimed, two siblings one to walk the light to other to poison the very light of day. Nerra stared miserably around her.Another war..How many were to die? Eyes glance at the bloodied field.So this is what the In-between had become A bloodied field .Nursing her injured arm her black hair falling in her face. Pity this land was beyound dead she could use a few good healing herbs. Cursing herself that she was to weak to perform a simple task of healing she began to limp towards a rock. This waste land had once been here home, too think this ghastly world had been so lustious and thriving. No it was a most unbareable thought. Closing her eyes tight she leant against the rock drawing a soft breathe. What would her mother think now of the distruction her children had brought of this land. Why was it one prophecy could bring about so much destruction. Funny how much drama good ensure over a short seventeen years. Drawing herself to full height she gazed around sharply looking for her companion. " That's the last one Kayta." Holding her sword she gave a sharp nod of her head. " Quickly we must return to the human world before my brothers spies find us." {You can be anyone quite literally, Also I'll probably have to explain the idea in my warped little mind }

--Raum in the fractured areas-non mortal realms --Raum in the human realm Raum smiled as he was finishing the last little group of humans who had sold their souls to his leader. He enjoyed the blood shed but some days he just wasn't in the mood for it so it became more of a menial task rather then a mission. There were others that were sent out to spy and such but he refused to be the idiot who got killed for crossing enemy lines. He enjoyed solving the problems more than causing them, but he did as he was told. An informant from the fractured plain appeared out of the chasm that lead there a bit beat up so he knew that he had been in the actions when he wasn't supposed to be. "What did you find out? I want something useful this time or its your head." Raum made his voice cold to instill fear and it worked , the usual lesser demons or just minions were terrified of anything that was intimidating to them. "There-there was a girl-a w-w-warrior your lordship-She was-s on the f-f-field and fell many of the t-troops. I came back to report s-s-sir." The man stuttered out barely as he fell to his knees on the floor by Raums' look. He wasn't pleased with the little information he had on the "girl". "This is displeasing to me-I will report that there were no survivors and you are forfeit." Raum lifted his scythe and cut the being on halves-and watched as the body slouched to the floor in its halves. He never cared for lessers and he always found them rather inaccurate. Walking towards the chasm he sniffed the sent off the slight breeze that was rolling over the plains-blood, lots of blood and wounded on the verge of death. He took another breath this time looking for something closer to living-finding only a few. 'So he was right-there is someone still there...I wonder if they are ours? Or a mysterious foe we have yet to behold?' He thought this over in his mind as he stepped away form the chasm and out of the room into the hall of a grand estate in the human realm. In reality he was undercover for his master-who he shared no particular love for as a spy on the mortal realm-in the process collecting enough souls for himself to become stronger and to get out from under the master's claws. He was a servant to a old widow-she preferred him to play the piano for hours as her husband did when he was young so he simply played for her. She had called him via pull bell and it was time for her afternoon tea-after that he would have to return to his room and report to the brother-he wasn't looking forward to that. ((OOC: hows that?))

Nerra let her eyes drift across the field one last time before turning to her companion . " Do not use my name." He'd slipped up called her Katya that wasn't good. Who knew who listened, the wind carried secrets. They were leaving now. Straightening herself out she ignored her wounds she could heal herself in the human world, everything would be fine once they left this cursed land. Closing her eyes letting herself go from the land she took a step her peircing blue eyes settling on the warehouse. The human world, once she'd have detested the very thought of living here now...now she welcomed it with open arms. Breathing in the fresh air she looked down at her new attire. " Jeans are so much easier." She spoke softly to herself.
With a nod in the man's direction she flashed him a small smile. " As usual Zarec I am in debt. What would I do with out you to inform me of the creatures doings. How helpful you are." With a brief curtsey she turned her back. She didn't trust him, he was sinister, cruel everything she despised but he helped none the less. Keeping a calm exterior she walked into the warehouse instantly greeted by a squeal. " My lady what happened?" Shaking her head she watched as the woman ran up to her. She was not more then a human but she possessed the gift of sight, so they kept her around. Truth be told she'd proven herself useful well enough. " I am fine Karin, I need to..." Wincing she closed her eyes quickly." Rest and heal. " It really wasn't that bad her wounds she'd had much worse all met with the same fuss.
In the warehouse she rested up for a few hours, hidden away protected with their magical barriers they were safe from harm. Pushing back the covers to her bed she stood up fully healed her strength returned. It wasn't an unusual sight to be greeted with creatures roaming the warehouse, demons and spirts aided them at times it wasn't even that suprising to see An immortal there, they offered sanctuary after all. " Karin, see to it our guests are well looked after and are comfortable. " Smoothing out her shirt she walked around the warehouse headed towards the doors. " I am going hunting, I'll return later." With a smirk she exited the warehouse passing through the magical barriers.

He played till his fingers were numb and the woman had passed out into her usual afternoon nap. Sighing he got up, pushing the bench back in. He left back to his own quarters and said a few words in front of the chasm till the coloring changed to a tinted red instead of a steady green-black. He stepped threw into a room full of books. It was different every time since the portal was made where ever the 'master' was. "I'm here to report the days events on the fractured plain-No survivors except a report of a female-I sensed two to three life forms out on the field after wards-nothing powerful unless capped or raw." He bowed and waited for a response-he hated this time the most. It was usual silent for a long period of time; he hated quiet. At least with the old woman there was prattle over past memories with some one long buried.
He remembered when his sister and himself would play the piano together enjoying the lack of silence and the festive sounds that the melody s made. Until they were invaded and most of the family was killed-Himself he survived because the demon wanted his soul-he how ever tricked the demon into his own soul and he, Raum became what he hated most-a demon who survived off souls. He remembered the vacant look in his sister's eyes as her body was slouched against the piano-face on the keys the strings already having died out on the note that it only rang with eternal silence. Tilting his head to the side he pushed that memory back for the happy time of them playing together as he waited for the 'master' to give his feed back.

Sameth fixed his black eyes Raum as he contained his anger. After a void of silence he straightened up driving a sword through one of the lesser demons. " You can't even manage your job." He snarled. " No girl should be able to walk freely on these lands yet here you are telling me along with her there were others." He was now beyound angry. " Fixing his eyes onto the window he stopped short finally coming to reason. " I don't suppose you know who she is of course not you incompetent fool."
Was it possible, could it very well be her? Tardiness wasn't accepted nor was failure yet so far Raum hadn't failed him. " I want you to find out who she is. If she has friends, befriend them. Then if she is our enemy kill her. Do I make myself clear?"

As the sword went threw the lesser demon by his chair- he winced, but didn't shy away from the corpse at his feet. "Yes my lord-you are crystal." He said as he got up from his kneel and bowed low to him. Without looking at his face be turned and left. Raum wasn't looking forward to being deceptive on any ones orders but he valued his life.
Stepping back threw the chasm he released a long help breath. trying to relax he looked at the clock. It was almost dinner time- sighing he changed into a different over coat and placed white gloves on his slender fingers and went to prepare the old woman's dinner, as well as her seating at the table. He had to set it for three-for the woman, himself and her dead husband. He didn't mind sine he helped finished off the old man but he felt bad for the old woman who still though he was around but other times knew he was gone. He didn't understand human nature any longer-it was almost confusing to him.
After she had been seated and feed he put her to bed and played the record of smooth jazz she listened to night after night. Retiring to his own room he pulled back the curtain to his own room to the Chasm. Saying a few words it changed over to the fractured plane. Stepping threw he felt the warm breeze ripple over his skin as his uniform had changed the instance he crossed over completely. He knew that he looked intimidation but he hoped it wasn't enough to scare who ever he had supposed to be finding and befriending. Looking about he felt slight traces of power, taking a few steps around a few dead bodies he crossed the battle field to where there were a small out crop of rocks. He was about two miles from his own portal but he knew there were thousands of them connected to the other world.

He said as he got up from his kneel and bowed low to him. Without looking at his face be turned and left. Raum wasn't looking forward to being deceptive on any ones orders but he valued his life. There was little that annoyed Sameth more than incompetence. Incompetence would simply not be tolerated. " Sire." What did those ghastly minions want now. Weren't they pathetically annoying enough. " What. " He growled. " The seer failed to locate the missing princess." It squeaked. Seer after seer and he was still no closer to finding his long lost sisters where abouts. " Destory the seer. He is no longer of use to us. " He commanded.With a cold laugh he looked once more out the window. " Oh sister I shall find you and when I do I shall cut your heart out. This world shall be mine and mine alone."
With a sweep of her sword Nerra jumped back inspecting the dead body before her. What was one less demon she figured. Cleaning the sword of on the grass she took a quick glance around. Glamour, she reminded herself with glamour no human would second glance what they saw. With Glamour she was safe. Yet for how long. Already Zarec had slipped up he'd called her Katya. No one could no she was the long lost princess. Her secret had to remain kept with those few who knew it already risking enough. With a soft sigh she let her sword transfigure into a pen which she quickly tucked into her pocket. What now? How long would the safe haven work. Kicking idly at a rock she began to walk. "Whatever am I meant to do now?"

Raum looked around the rocks carefully making sure there were no hidden surprised to be found. He sensed some power very close by but he wasn't sure what it was so he decided it best not to sneak up on what ever the creature of this plan was weather it was a dying soldier or a lesser demon. "Hello? I mean you no harm-I simply ask to know who you are." He stated in his nicest voice trying to to seem too intimidating. He hoped this nice approach worked because he didn't want to be killed for failing. He wouldn't allow it and if it wasn't what he wanted-this creature then he would consume its soul and become a little stronger.

This land disgusted her but to keep things calm in her new world Nerra found herself always venturing back here. Even if it was to kill off a fe meaningless demons she'd hunted down. The close footsteps made her eyes narrow her hand falling to her sword. " It's rude to pry." Turning around slowly hand gripping the hilt of the sword she watched Raum her eyes narrowed some. " As it was you who was spying on I perhaps you should be saying your name first."Really this was a dangerous game to be playing. Checking him over she searched for visible weapons. She could just as easily dispose of him if he proved a threat.
Then she took on a sly expression her tensed grip loosening on her sword. " Never before have I seen you here. So who are you indeed and what to do with you.." She spoke unkindly. "Perhaps you are a spy for Lord Sammeth, perhaps you are a spy for his sister Katya. I do wonder what side you are on. Should I kill you now?" Despite her words she was keeping reletively calm. " My name is Nerra. I am going home now.."
