" When I try to block out emotions it hurts even more then when I feel someones anger." At Ignis's reaction to her amulet she quickly pushed the chain back into her shirt. " Yes I am." She could tell that much from the amulet. " You know who I am now don't you." So many secrets always, but never answers. With a sigh she looked away. " I thought you might say something like that."
Not going to press it she was glad for the subject change as she covered her disapointment. " I didn't help. He made me ill at ease though and yes I mentioned Zeus and he most certiantly wasn't impressed with that." She recalled. It was easy for Ignis to speak of Destirel not being like the other gods but as she said he'd never had as such a lover it was really just an assumption. " I think all gods are the same." She didn't mean it as an unkind assumption it was merely her thoughts.
" I know the auras...and I have visions. Along with healing. Destirel said I had something with animals. I don't understand that."

A look of pained amusement crossed Ignis's face when Alysia said that she had indeed mentioned Zeus. "I will warn you now, Zeus is a touchy subject for the poor boy, as I am sure you already know now. It is something that he can only tolerate at certain times. I am sure he will tell you eventually so it is not my place to tell you why he has his grievances." Ignis said in a somewhat serious manner though she went right back on smiling as Alysia mentioned that she thought all gods were the same.
"That would be wise to always assume, no matter the god. Though if you get to know him more, you might see what I mean. Just don't hurt him alright." She warned Alysia, though there was no threat in it. Merely concern for him. She knew that Alysia was a god child like himself and there for he was bound to become attached to her, how much so though she wasn't sure.
Her list of powers made Ignis happy. "You two are just polar opposites aren't you." She commented with a laugh before thinking over what Alysia had said. "Now your auras are the empath part which I already explained. As for the healing, well that is a given and if you want hints I can not help. Healing is beyond me. As for the visions why don't you explain to me what happens when you see them." She was going to help Alysia as best she could though Ignis did realize that talking to Hecate might be better. Hell talking to her father would be best but she had heard of the circumstances surrounding that and dared not mention it.
Once Destirel had gotten his fill for knowledge, he took his ring back from Hecate and headed back on his long walk to his room. Of course he was unhappy that he was to bring news of Hecate spying on them and that she would have to meet her. He just knew Alysia wouldn't be thrilled with it but what Hecate said went. He was just glad that his father was apparently out and visiting Mount Olympus. It had something to do with Zeus's little outburst that Alysia and himself had witnessed. Now he wanted to go back and speak with Alysia about a number of things.

She knew that of course, quite well in fact on how Destirel took to Zeus. " He and I share the same opinion on Zeus though." She spoke in a low tone. Whether or not she dislike Zeus she knew her place, he was the king of gods and she'd best hold her tongue.
Ignis had a point she decided. " I want to get to know Destirel more." Shyly she looked at the fire nymph. With a red tinge forming on her cheeks she smiled some. " I wont hurt him." She spoke in a serious tone. She cared for him. Even despite the short time of knowing the male god child. Like it was possible anyway. She couldn't hurt people emotionally it caused unimaginable pain to her.
Running a hand through her hair she couldn't help but giggle at Ignis. Polar oposites just like Destirel kept stating. " Yes we are." Falling quiet for a moment she stared at her hands. It was uncomfortable to talk about her visions but she had mentioned them. " I get sucked into the vision. I lose control of my body then pass out. Or there nightmares in my sleep then I wake up."

Nodding her head, she was satisfied with what Alysia said. If she hurt him then Ignis would be upset with her, though she had a feeling that something like that wouldn't happen. It seemed that they would get along well enough. She would pose a challenge to Destirel though. The male had some issues that were pretty emotional for him and with Alysia having severe empathy, that might not end well. As for that amulet of hers, Ignis knew what it was for and though it made Alysia's empathy worse, it kept her safe.
As Alysia explained how her visions worked, Ignis frowned. That must have been the amulet as well. "I am not quite sure what to tell you other than make sure to sit down before they happen. I know that your visions should almost always be true, unless they are from the future. Than there might be some differences but I would always watch them carefully, generally one might give a hint to another." She told her, a simple smile on her face. That was about all she could tell her with that. Practice staying up right would be something she would suggest too but she wouldn't because the amulet would deter such a thing. Most likely at least. "Now explain to me the thing with animals." She then added, waiting patiently.
Destirel walked past his room this time, wanting to pick a specific book out in the library. Taking a deep breath as he opened the door, the smell of parchment, leather, and solitude filled his nostrils. He so did love the large room filled with knowledge. Of course he didn't speak of how much he loved them but he did. If he could he would sleep in this room though he had to laugh at that. He wouldn't sleep ever if he set up his bed in here.

Alysia gave a nod of her head. " I know. I've tried to sit down. Some times they just happen to quickly. " With an embarrassed expression she pointed to the bruise on her arm. " I got that last night..and a nasty cut to my forehead. I healed the cut but couldn't heal the bruise." She admitted.
It seemed impossible to even try sitting down but next time she'd give it a shot. " Well..when I'm around animals if I want them to do something they do it I guess." Frowning lightly she ran a hand through her hair. The power was still all to knew to her. " Destirel said my eyes glowed. I did an experiment to get a tiger to move..and it worked."

Ignis quickly examined the injuries, her brow furrowing slightly before sighing. "I was afraid of that..." She muttered, but made it obvious that she would ignore questions of what she had meant. When Alysia began explaining her powers over animals, Ignis smiled gleefully. It so excited her to see someone with those powers. It was also quite a useful thing for practical and pleasure uses.
"A tiger really?!" Ignis exclaimed, surprised by her choice of test subject. "You must have some power in you because a tiger has a strong will and for you to command it based on a hunch is something quite spectacular." She told her matter of factually, a big grin on her face. "I can tell you though that with that power, your will is something that needs to be strong and you need to be specific with what you want an animal to do." She explained, wanting to give her some advice. She was old in her mind but quite young with how she acted. It didn't help that she lived in a library. "One word of warning though," She began, her tone quite serious. "Do not try it on a human unless you have an outside power source. It will sap you of your strength as soon as you try to control them." Alysia probably hadn't thought of it but humans were essentially animals and thus capable of being controlled, though they were the hardest and most dangerous to do so with.
After finally finding the book that he was looking for, Destirel began to head back to his room. It wasn't a very long walk before he was back at his door. Knocking three times, he entered quickly and smiled at the two women. "Hello ladies. Sorry that took so long." He said, voice almost a teasing flirt. He was quite glad to actually be back with Alysia. Although he trusted Ignis, he didn't like leaving the sun child alone. She was special too him. "Talk about anything interesting?" He questioned out of pure curiosity but there was no reason that he had to know

With a soft sigh Alysia placed her hands in her lap. Ignis was good for answers but it still left too many secrets. The real answers, ones she desperately craved would have to be sought else where. Yet where to begin let alone who to ask.
Allowing the nymph to examine her injuries she gave her a small smile. Yes, truly she had that little control of her powers as was painfully evident from the injuries lining her body. At her words though she leaned forward her curiosity sparked. " Afraid of what?" She asked mildly suspicious. The nymph knew something but was careful not to let on. Sensing it was a closed off topic she gave a small sigh. More secrets.
Giving in for the time being she accepted a small defeat letting the topic slide back to her powers. " Well...Destirel seemed certain." Embarrassed she looked away. His confidence in her had been the only reason she'd dared try the small experiment. " It's a strong power?" Some how she'd thought moving the tiger had been awfully easy until it had drained her power. At her advice she gave a nod of her head in understatement. " I'll try that next time." Mind you she was going to experiment with something drastically smaller in compression to the tiger when the next opportunity arose.
" I could use that on humans?" Some how that felt awfully wrong to do such a thing. " What kind of outside power source?" Nibbling on her bottom lip she thought back to the beach, holding Destirels hands had helped her with her powers even though it hadn't unlocked the amulets secrets.
Pausing at the knock of the door she breathed a small sigh of relief when the door opened revealing Destirel. Just imagine of it had been someone else. Too scary of a thought to think about. " Hi. " With a shy smile she remained sitting on the bed. " We talked about my powers." She explained. " Ignis was able to tell me some things about them."

"If harnessed properly it can become a strong power." Ignis responded, a bit of a sly smile on her exotic face. Nodding her head she continued, "Yes it can be used on humans but it takes a dark mind to be able to do such a thing and as for an external power source, any supernatural being can give you strength, even a few humans. Though you would have to be careful not to steal everything from them unless you mean harm, though it usually can only be given by choice." As Destirel came in, Ignis beamed and stood up, practically floating over to him. "Lovely meeting you Alysia but I really must be going. I have a dead shift tonight." She said suddenly and Destirel nodded, understanding. "Thanks." He told her, smiling.
Looking towards Alysia he smiled. "That is good. She is much more knowledgeable than she seems." He told her, walking over and sitting next to her on the bed. He was quiet after that, a look of thoughtful worry on his face, debating on how to tell her that Hecate wanted to meet her. Lovely thing to have to tell Alysia after he said that he wasn't going to mention her. Right?

Alysia gave a nod of her head. She was far from dark and to be honest there was no appeal in even trying to control a humans mind. That went against their free will. It wasn't as if her power would allow her to do such a thing either. Despite still not knowing what the amulet did she was grateful for the information Ignis had been able to share with her. " Thank you Ignis." She spoke softly.
As Destirel sat next to her she smiled softly. " She was nice. Besides...what she said helped." Sensing his worry did little to help her own anxiety. " What's wrong?" Closing her eyes her hands clenched into tiny fists. Managing not to lose control of her powers she slowly opened her eyes. " I think I'm getting the hang of this."

Temporarily ignoring Alysia's quest about what was wrong, he smiled as she mentioned getting better. "That is good and I am glad that she could help you." Setting the book down that was in his hand, Destirel turned towards Alysia, playing with the hair at the scruff of his neck. He wasn't quite sure how to say it perfectly so he figured just out and saying it would be best. After all he was fairly good at explaining things...right?
"Hecate wants to meet you..." He said, slowly at first. "She some how knew about you already. She just seems to have eyes on me sometimes. I don't like it but I can't stop her. She is quite trustworthy really and has more loyalty to my father than to Zeus." He then added, speaking a bit quickly as if he was afraid Alysia would interrupt him. Sighing afterwords, he gave her a lopsided smile and waited to see how she would react. ((Crappy...my muse hates me on this thread right now T.T))

Giving Destirel a curious stare as he clearly dodged her question Alysia leant forward. Now she was even more worried. Whatever was the cause of his behaviour. Something was wrong however he wasn't telling her. " Yes but you've helped me as well." Reaching out she lightly touched his hand trying to determine his emotions. It was puzzling, she'd nearly expected it to be jealousy behind his anxiety not finding any of that she gave a small frown.
With wide eyes she shook her head at his words. " No. No. No." Springing up off the bed she stepped away from him backing against the wall blinking back tears clearly upset about Destirel's words. " You promised." So much for keeping her a secret. Turning her back to him she lifted her hand brushing away her tears. If Eris was going to be angry for her earlier actions she was going to be simply lived now. " Do not tell me who I can trust." She might not be able to get angry but she could certiantly let him know she was far from happy.

Destirel had been afraid that that was going to happen. He had expected Alysia to not be happy but she was freaking out a little more than he had expected. Sighing some, he let her go and then ran his fingers through his hair, a nervous tick that he couldn't help himself from doing.
"I promised that I would tell no one about you and I have not." He stated simply, glancing up to Alysia from his spot on the bed. It was obvious that he wasn't happy about the whole situation. The look on his face should have been enough to prove that. He looked absolutely guilty also frustrated, though not at Alysia. "I didn't know that Hecate would be spying on me. I forced her to stop years ago but apparently she decided to do it again!" He explained in a rather pleading type of tone. He didn't want her to be upset with him and so he wanted to make this up to her as best as he could.
"And I am not trying to tell you who to trust Alysia. I am merely saying that I trust her enough to think that it isn't a big deal. I am asking that you trust me on this. You don't have to trust her. If something bad comes of it, though I doubt it will, than you can blame me but I will stand by your side and protect you for something that is partially my own fault." He tried to reason with her, his oxidizing copper colored eyes pleading with the god child. He really didn't want this to ruin their new relationship. He would make it up to her if he could, but he couldn't stand to see her so upset over something that was kind of his fault. If he hadn't met her or if he had just left her alone than no one would be the wiser. Though it was too late for that.

Alysia dropped her head tensing slightly as she kept her back to him. Too much all these emotions were to much for her to handle. Sniffling some she brushed away a stray tear. This was too stressful to deal with. Reaching for her hair she twisted it painfully curling the ends between her fingers " You didn't tell anyone?" Stopping short she turned to look at Destirel listening less then patiently to his words.
Frowning she settled her golden eyes onto him pursing her lips some. " No one was meant to know." Sniffling she brushed at her eyes again. It was beginning to be to much for her to handle. This wasn't good. " You know, Ignis and Hectea."
It wasn't good when she lost control of her powers. What started as a dull throbing sensation of Anxiety was growing into a sharp pain. Turning her back to him again she wrapped her arms around her body.

"I didn't tell her..." He said softly, watching her reaction. He hadn't expected it to be so strong of a response. He held a somewhat guilty expression on his face. He may not have done it on purpose but it was his fault that she had been found out. He watched as she curled her hand around her finger, the nervous tick that he had thought was cute, searing into his mind and making him feel worse.
He reached out to her as she turned from him, her words echoing in his mind and the expression on her face lingering. Look of regret crossed his face as he walked towards her. He didn't regret meeting her, no...he was much to greedy for that. Though he did truly hate seeing her so upset. Walking up behind her, he wrapped his arms around her and whispered into her ear, "I am truly sorry. Please forgive me Alysia." His voice cracked a little, his emotions true to his words. He knew she would probably object to his holding of her but he liked to touch and be touched. It was a way he comforted himself and a the way he liked to comfort others.
The soft smell of her hair wafted to his nose and he took it in. It was a comforting smell oddly enough and she was soft against him. His embrace was gentle and he held her in a way that would be easy for her to just push out of. He wasn't trying to keep her from moving, but it was clear that he was trying to make it obvious--he didn't want her to leave him. He had enjoyed his time with her and though he knew it was probably best that she didn't stay with him, he wanted her company. He was greedy when it came to such things.

It was possible for Alysia to believe Destirel had indeed not told Hectae but still the woman knew and it was by no sheer coincidence. Hectae had spied on Destirel and then had discovered Alysia. For sixteen years Eris and her mother had kept her safe away from the gods. In less then 24 hours she was already destroying their long hard work. It was now begining to dawn on her the consequence of her actions. How much further would she dare risk pushing the boudries further with her secret already having been discovered.
Then there was the pressing matter of her vision. It was all too much for her to handle now. Head spining she looked up suprise written on her face as Destirel embraced her. So many things she'd like to do, shout, cry, push him far away. Taking a deep breathe she willed herself to relax to think about things rationally. " You didn't?" Unable to keep the doubt laced from her voice she looked him up and down skeptically. " Someone did then." How was it everyone already seemed to know who she was without her knowledge.
It was uncomfortable being this close to the male god child. Retreating to her shy exterior she dropped her gaze to the ground feeling embarrassed at their close proximity. " I..." I what...what did she want to say. She was furious..or at least she thought she was. it was still an all together confusion emotion to her. One she'd not learnt to fully recognise, but surely it was anger that made her want to react in such a way. To scream and stamp her feet was not something she'd ever desired to do untill now. Nibbling on her bottom lip she relaxed against his chest a blush forming on her cheeks as she calmed down.
" I'm scared." Speaking quietly she turned her head to look at Destirel. It was a mind blowing fear that was slowly tearing at her. For so long she'd lived a sheltered life never been had she been so close to Zeus and never before had she come across other gods. Now it left her in the dark unsure of what to do. Every part of her mind was screaming at her for having asked Destirel to help her with the amulet and for sharing her secrets with him whilst the other part enjoyed his company. Enjoyed having someone similar to talk to. It was awfully lonely being her.
Dropping her head she looked away from him once more focusing on the floor. " I forgive you Destirel. It wasn't your fault." Besides she didn't want to risk losing him now. Shifting in his arms she made to move away from him before deciding against it. With a shy expression she turned slowly placing her arms around his waist concentrating intently on the corner of the room feeling shy and self conscious all of sudden. " I'm glad I met you Destirel. " Whispering softly she then looked away from him growing shy around him once more.
