Feeling a twinge of disappointment, Saxum nodded his head at Adeliyah's comment about leaving after breakfast. As if on cue, his stomach growled almost angrily. Scratching the back of his head, he rolled his eyes. The stomach of a wolf was a very troublesome thing. If it got too hungry it could eat more than its fair share of food. He could just picture the food that he wanted to eat, his mouth salivating at the thought.
As Adeliyah commented on not wanting to be jumped and talking to Marklos, Saxum turned his head towards the female wolf and in a very serious tone said, "If you want to, I can escort you there. It would be a shame if you couldn't even make it there." He sighed some, damn his courteous side. "Plus, after last night incident, I really should make myself known along with my intentions." He added almost reluctantly, as though he was really hoping on avoiding it. He was, not wanting to have to cower underneath of another alpha. The thought almost sickened him. But he was an under dog now, a loner. He really had to at least ask for permission to live here now....as unfortunate as that was.

Well how was she to respond to that. Falling silent Adeliyah focused on her foot steps as she walked. Would she require his assistance again. There was a high posibility her prescence would be far from welcomed but even Marklos wouldn't turn on his daughter would he? Needless to say something was well enough up for Sameth to re-appear into her life.
Answers. That's all she wanted. That's all she required to continue to live about her seemingly ordinary life. Wolf free and peaceful. " I don't think getting there will be an issue." Giving him a subtle look she then adverted her gaze away. Wolves were predators and skilled hunters. Getting in would hardly be an issue, getting out was more the task at hand. What if they wanted her to stay? Would Marklos just willingly let her leave.
Frowning some she raised a questioning brow. " What exactly are your intentions then Saxum." Hey she was allowed to be curious wasn't she? Scanning the street she looked to Saxum. " I don't think it's a good idea if you go to the pack with me." With particular emphis on the me part she stole another look around the street. What was that paraniod feeling arrriving from? Surely no one was watching her now? Stopping short she sniffed trying to decipher a wolfs scent only to arrive with none. Zero. Zilch. Zip. Not a wolf in sight, well minus her and saxum. So why the feeling of being watched. Growing uncomfortable she gazed again towards Saxum. " This buffet. It's near right?"Feeling watched she resorted the safest place was off the street and into a crowded area.

Saxum caught the subtle look and understood what she meant by getting in most likely won't be hard. It was almost always the getting ut part that was challenging. Though he nodded his head at her declining his offer. "Whatever you want." he said though really he was a bit worried about her. It probably wouldn't be a fun thing to do. Eyebrows quirking up as he glanced st Adeliyah with what looked like a smirk on his face, however it was far from one. "I just want to be left alone without the chance of beng in a clan or pack again or having to deal with the councils politics. I dont want anything but to forget my past." he explained in a simple manner, practicly growling though when he mentioned the council.
"I won't go with you then." Saxum told her, with a shrug of his good shoulder, the dull pain in his injured one enough to keep him from moving it uneccesarily. Saxum caught the fact that Adeliyah seemed nervous all of a sudden and the. He too felt as though they were being watched, then hair on the back of his neck prickling. "It should be right around this corner." he spoke a bit softer, quickening his pace a tad bit. There was no smell of wolf in the air which caused Saxum to be confused a bit. What the hell could it be then?

" I want not to be a wolf." She replied automatically. Not really expecting an answer she continued walking. Not wanting to be a wolf why the thought of it was almost taboo to her kind, but that was what she wanted more then anything in life. Being a wolf brought to much drama. She had no interest in being one infact she envied humans for their simpleness. " I wish it were that easy. Pasts have a way of creeping up on us." She observed. " I thought I was well and truly done with the pack." She pointed out.
Saxum was a curious wolf at that and she had one to many questions for him but kept quiet. Clearly he was a private person. Respecting his privacy prevented her from asking such simple basic things. " I think that's best. You don't want to be caught up with me." Hairs on her kneck still standing she rounded the corner. " Awesome food time." Remaining calm and active normal, more for show reasons she tried to sus out any unfamiliar scents.

Saxum snorted some at her comment about pasts creeping up on us. "Yea, I know what you mean." He grumbled, honey eyes turning towards the sky. Really, he didn't know why everything couldn't just be let alone. Why couldn't things be easy, it really wasn't fair. He lost his pack, the only family he had left, and been forced to run from his home land. How was it fair that he was going to have to suffer more, all of his own doing after all. He could have left things well enough alone, not bothered helping Adeliyah...But that just wasn't who he was. That wasn't how he worked.
Saxum just nodded his head. He didn't want to say it out loud but he feared that he was already caught up in Adeliyah's life now. After all, he had stayed the night at her place and could now be seen walking from her apartment with her. If there was indeed a wolf watching, it would be easy to mistake their relationship.
Perking up some as the restaurant came into view, a slip of a smile formed on Saxum's lips. "I love food." He commented so hungry, he had begun to get a slight headache. As they approached the door, a car, way to quickly entered the parking lot. Rolling his eyes, Saxum opened the door, holding it open for the Adeliyah, something most alphas wouldn't do unless it was there mate. But Saxum was no longer an alpha and tried to do away with the silly little rituals that his blood burned for.[/blockquote]

No matter how hard she'd tried to escape her past and avoid who she was, it was like the universe intervened. Why couldn't she just be normal. Her envy of humans ran so deep it was pure jealousy. To not be restircted by the pack life was something she'd craved. Now, pack free she was still stuck with the same dilemas and the far from picturesque past.
" I suppose you do. " Although Saxum, she guessed had a different story to her own they shared similar things. Their pasts wouldn't quite leave them be. With a smirk she poked Saxum in the stomach. " Well I can't say food loves you. You aren't fat."
As the car turned into the parking lot much to fast she raised her head. Wrinkling her nose as the cars fumes hit her sensitive nose she turned away disgusted. " That stinks." She commented. Raising an eyebrow at Saxum she entered walking through the doorway. How interesting that he would open the door for her.

Saxum couldn't help but chuckle some at Adeliyah's comment about food to his earlier one. It was true, it didn't look like food loved him much at all. "I blame my metabolism." He sighed, as if he was really upset about it, s bit of a twinkle in his eyes showing that he was joking. After all, they both couldn't stay grumpy and unhappy all day. It wasn't healthy.
Crinkling his nose in disgust he nodded his head. "Yes, it does." He responded, agreeing with the she wolf about the car exhaust. Entering the building as quickly as he could after Adeliyah, he walked up to the podium and asked for a table for two. Aparently though they weren't busy today as almost immediately, the two were escorted to a seat. Sitting down in the miniature booth, Saxum took a deep breath of the lovely scent of cooking food. It was all guaranteed to be fresh this time of the day. Leaning back some, he sighed. Wanting to be polite, he suppressed his urge to just get up and grab three platefuls of food. He was treating her, but he was still going to be polite. "Go ahead and go first, I need to rest my shoulder." He explained, exaggerating his exhaustion from his injury. He was a bit tired yes, but as soon as he began to eat, Saxum would be much better.

With a soft laugh she found herself relaxing. There was little or no point stressing about the pack so for now she'd enjoy breakfast. Looking around the building she studied it quietly before taking in the mouth watering scent. Food. With her stomach giving a small flip she quickly followed after Saxum to the booth.
Hadn't Saxum basically just told her he was starving also. Not saying anything she quickly moved to the buffet. He needed to eat more then she did. Taking a plate she studied the food contents. Now what would the male wolf like? Well only one way to find out. Taking a ladle she moved around selecting foods then placing them onto the plate. There that would do for now. Anything Saxum didn't like would be his problem.
Holding the plate firmly in her hands she moved back to the table then placed it down infront of him. " You need to eat." Not giving him a chance to argue she turned her back to him returning to the buffet as she selected her own plate of food.

Eyebrows quirking as Adeliyah placed a plate in front of him, Saxum opening his mouth to protest but found she had already left. Smirking some, he dug in, eating very quickly though not loudly at all. He ate the whole plate, scraping it clean within minutes. Leaning back slightly, he waited until he had finished debating what he wanted next.
Standing and grabbing another plate, he walked over to where all the meat was and piled it on his plate. Moving over to the biscuits, he broke apart two over his plate and then ladled a breakfast gravy over the top. It was something he really wasn't a fan of, but it added calories and he really could eat anything right now, not caring what it was or even if it was sanitary. Coming back to the table with about two inches thick of meat and bread on his plate, he looked to see what Adeliyah had gotten. After all, there was no way in hell he could make her feel fat right now, was there.

She'd left without leaving the chance for Saxum to protest. Now the issue was what she wanted to eat. Eyeing of the food she selected a few things bacon, eggs, toast come to think of it she wasn't that hungry. Tossing her hair over her shoulder she sat down watching Saxum with a smirk. Clearly he was eating enough for the both of them anyway.
" Just a tad hungry?" She teased lightly. Crossing her legs she slowly chewed on her food before glancing at the time. " I can't stay for much longer. Especially if I want to avoid Sammeth."

Holding up his hand while swallowing is food, he made the sign that meant small. "Just a bit." He chuckled after he mouth was clear and then he went for another bite, making it obvious that he wasn't a big talker when he was this hungry. However, he swallowed half chewed food when she commented that she was going to have to leave soon. It was odd but he almost felt upset at the thought. His brow furrowed in personal anger, though not at her. It was the damn wolf instincts that were making him feel as though he had adopted her into his own pack when really, all he wanted was to not have any kind of those emotions at all. "If you must then go, but call me if you need anything. I will come an help. It's not like I haven't already gotten myself involved. No matter what you say, I have already unintentionally gotten myself tied to you." He spoke honestly, setting his eating utensils down so that he could speak with her, despite the hunger still in his belly.

With a soft laugh she gave a small nod of her head in response. Feeding her own hunger she brought the fork to her mouth swallong the food. Finishing her food she glanced at her watch checking the time. Great, she had time for seconds. " I'll be back. Going to get some more food." She explained.
Standing up she held her plate in hand then returned to the buffet. Scanning the foods she dared to be more adventurous so tried something other then bacon and eggs. Selecting an assortments of foods she returned to the table.
" Yes I must go. " She observed with a less then pleased expression. " Even if I would preffer not to. " She added as an after thought. " I would stay away from me if I was you." She spoke in a low tone. " Don't drag yourself into my mess Saxum." With a threatening gaze she placed her fork down. " You need to be careful."

His plate was pretty well cleared when Adeliyah returned. She ate some but then seemed to get upset with his offer, for it was merely that. Putting his fork down, clinking as it hit the plate, Saxum listened to what the female wolf was saying. In a way it made sense, he could see where shew as coming from but in all honesty, he guessed she just didn't get it all very well, however it was obvious at first that he was pleased that she would rather not go, until of course he realized that she probably meant to see her alpha.
Smirking at the threatening look Adeliyah gave him, Saxum wasn't laughing. In fact, he was almost insulted. Leaning forward, hands clasped together, he sighed. "Careful didn't work for me in the past. It has only made things worse." He began, eye twitching some as a fleeting memory crossed his minds eye. "And not drag myself into your mess?" He practically scoffed. "It is a bit late for that because unless you have some magical soap that I should know about, you have my scent on you and you on me. The scent of a wolf lingers, especially one that has spilled blood. I don't think your alpha will just sit there and pretend he can't tell my scent from your own, especially with how those mutts from your clan acted last night." He explained, his voice also low but smooth and mellow. His eyes flashed a cold gold, before warming up to their normal warm honey color. Shaking his head some, showing that he wasn't pleased himself, Saxum picked up his fork and finished his plateful. He was still a bit hungry but didn't bother to get up for another plate yet.

" Well that is your opinion." Irked by the smirk on his face she folded her arms. " Yes NOT to drag yourself into my mess." Frowning she set her dark eyes onto Saxum her arms still crossed. Suddenly embarrassed she looked away quickly. Scents truth be told it hadn't occured to even think about that. How out of tune of her instincts she was.
" Your right. Marklos will be less then favourable towards us now. " Uncrossing her arms she tossed her hair over her shoulder then stood up slowly tucking her chair in. " I'm going now. You're welcome to come then."

Sharp teeth revealing in a half grin as Adeliyah looked away embarrassed, Saxum leaned back fully, resting his hands on his lap. Upon her saying that he was right, Saxum nodded his head, acknowledging that she had agreed with him on that part. It really was ridiculous with how the whole pheromones worked. He knew it was left over from their ancestors but he was amazed at how prevalent scent still was. It was one thing that even humans still relied on and they had strayed from their instincts greatly.
However, Saxum had not expected Adeliyah to allow him to come with her now. A look of shock obviously on her face, he smiled lightly. "I will then." He responded, standing up as well, leaving cash on the table for two all you can eats. "One second." He said quickly, his accent mangling it to be almost not understandable. Running back towards the food, Saxum came back moments later with a soft serve ice cream cone. "Lead the way, ma'm." He commented and proceeded to nibble, yes nibble, on the ice cream. ((Sorry its short))
