ℓєαηιηg ση σηє нιρ ωιтн α ¢ιgαяєттє тнιηкιηg уσυя αѕѕ ιѕ αѕ gσσ∂ αѕ ιт gєтѕ Pretty! Perfect! Girly! Dressed in black! The sound of yelling woke her up. With a frustrated sigh Tillie turned onto her side. “Matthew.” She spoke loudly whilst glancing towards her brother bed. “MATTHEW.” She yelled. With a soft groan Matthew buried his face into the pillow. They always argued. Why had their mother married that pathetic idiot? Wasn’t it bad enough that her own biological father had walked out, a complete jerk? Samuel the man her mother had married was a living breathing prince charming. Everyone just loved him. Everyone that was except her and Matthew. The reason they where arguing you might ask, her. It was always about her. It hadn’t been easy to be suspended on her first day of school but none the less it had been possible, eventually she’d managed it…Complete success. And the entire week following after that had been sheer bliss. Shaking her head she pushed herself off the bed tossing the covers up lazily. Sighing she gazed around the messy room she was temporarily sharing with her brother. This just sucked; this city was a waste of space what she’d do to be backing home with all her friends. Why had the ever had to move, that was right…Samuel and his nice high class job. What in the damned hell had her mother thinking at the time. What she’d do right now to be back home surfing on the beach. With home sickness panging at her heart she sighed. Her step sister was living it up. Carrie was lucky the party lifestyle was still here and she was as always attention central. Making it a point to never let her forget it. Carrie the Queen Bee and Tillie the school loser. The socially retarded outcast. Not that she cared much. Shrugging lightly to herself she made her way to the bathroom. Flicking on the taps she stood under barely noticing as the hot water ploughed down on her back. With bitter resentment she slowly descended the stairs finding Matthew already seated at the table slowly eating his breakfast. “She’s crying again.” He observed with a roll of his eyes. She was always crying, if it wasn’t hating on her two children her mother found something else to complain about. Snatching up her school bag she waited for Matthew to follow. There was their mother, hunched over her chair crying, “Bye…”He muttered before more or less racing at the door to school. ----- Their mother had married to young; at least that’s what their aunt said. She’d been married and had two kids before the age of twenty one and now wanted her own time. Selfish bitch wasn’t she. IPod blasting in his ears he watched Tillie walking slowly beside him as usual lost in her own world. “I’ll see you later Til. “ ------ She waited exactly five minutes before making her move. That wide cocky arrogant smirk played across hers lips as the girl gazed around the school. Care free, wild and reckless three principles that seemed to follow her everywhere. With her bag swung across her back he stepped out of the school ground deciding to skip out on the first couple of periods. At least she’d arrived at the school gate a huge improvement on her part. Exiting the school she began to walk along the streets, not a care in the world for where she was going. Along the street he moved watching as the traffic passed by idly. With the woods up ahead she moved entering them. It would be another lecture when she returned, another phone call at home, then another lecture from her distraught mother. Life’s daily repeats. She simply couldn’t tolerate school or home. Taking a seat she leaned against a tree a secret hide away to escape reality. ------ Maybe that’s how it happened how else one would find their self in her current predicament. With a hearty sigh the girl gave a strong hard push at the luggage trolley. All around her people moved quickly, the daily life of a busy international airport. It had been the final straw her mother had stated. Now she’d simply had enough. Her two children had to go. They didn’t fit into her perfect lifestyle. So many longsome hours ago as she’d bid farewell to her daughter and son, her only children whom she was sending to live with her divorced husband. What did that woman believe she’d achieve sending them to a man she despised even more then their step father? With narrowed eyes she took a seat Matthew sulking at her side. The plane trip had been lone, tiresome and right now she wished for nothing more then to curl up and fall asleep yet still she was waiting an hour later for her father to turn up.“ Matilda…” A voice suddenly called out. Raising her head her she looked up at her father, “its Tillie.” She corrected. How awkward it was to suddenly be stuck in your fathers company, the father who’d walked out on you all those years ago. Lucky even now Mathew never really bothered with small talk. IPod in his ears he began to move through the airport pushing their luggage. “Keep up Til. “ With a relieved sigh she followed after her brother as their father lead her to his car. At least Matt had saved her from pushing that damn trolley, “How far away is…home.” She asked, trying to word out for style. Home was it her home, sure she’d grown up here…yet it was so long ago. “About twenty minutes.” How slow the car ride seemed as she gazed intently out the window, the scenery passing by with a blur. Last time she’d lived here, been here for that matter she had been seven years old, what was it going to be like now at Sixteen to return to the very placed she hated most, ---- As the sun light rippled through the room she managed to finally crawl out of her bed dressing quickly and walking the short distance to school. With her bag swung over her shoulders she walked through the school gates ignoring the students stares, Let them stare…see if I care. “Welcome to Hell til. “ Matthew spoke dramatically. “Beachside views, negative. Wild parties.Definitely not. City sky rises, money and everything we love….Yeah no. Backwards town, Hillbillies yes. A father who’s the chief police officer. Let’s just pop ourselves of already.” With a giggle she clutched her bag tightly to her chest. She had to agree with her brother’s opinion. “ Let’s just go find the office alright.” ι ѕєє уσυ αѕ уσυ αяє ι ѕєє уσυ'яє тяαηѕραяєηт

Brothers. Colin Thorn is on the left and Sam Thorn is on the right. “Colin! Sam! Get up!” A sweet motherly type voice echoed through the upstairs and through the rooms. Even though it wouldn’t seem like it the voice carried. But to those that were being shouted at they just rolled over and placed pillows on their heads. If ever there were twins that acted alike without realizing it, it was the Thorn brothers. But if you asked them they would argue that they are different in every way. Sam was the first to finally get out of bed and when Colin heard Sam’s door open he shot out of bed and bolted for the bathroom. “Hey! I was up first I should get it first this time” “You snooze you lose” he heard from the other side of the door. He punched the door but not enough to do any damage and just stormed off to his room. He stalked into his room rummaging through things to find what he wanted. “Since you take the bathroom I’ll take the breakfast” Sam smiled a little and dressed quickly to head downstairs. “It smells wonderful Meme” Sam complimented as he took a seat at the small round table they used for their dining room table. “Why thank you Sam. Where’s your brother?” “Hogging the bathroom” Sam snorted as he started to pile his plate with pancakes. ~~~ Walking to school wasn’t so bad though it wasn’t until Sam heard Colin’s stomach growling which put a huge smug look on his face. “Shouldn’t have hogged the bathroom” was all that Sam said “If you weren’t so slow then maybe you would get there before me” Colin retorted and they started to shove each other. It was just another typical day for them at school, they had classes they fought most of the time and then went their separate ways till lunch. ~~~ Sam walked up to his locker and started to put things away while grabbing out things he needed for his next class. He hoped that today would be better than yesterday but then again how many times does your grandfather die. That’s right twice for them now. He thought back on it and felt horrible thinking such a thing. He was worried about his grandmother, this was her second husband who passed away and at this rate he wasn’t sure how much longer she was going to last. ~~~ Colin didn’t really care about going to his locker; if the teachers had a problem with his backpack being in class then they could just send him home. Though he knew he would receive a lecture from his grandmother if he was sent home one more time this week. But as always he only cared for about a second till he walked into class and saw his group already in the back messing around, it didn’t take long for Colin to walk over and set his things down and just right in to the fun. ((Hope this is ok)

Twirling a pink strand of her hair around her fingers Tillie waited impatiently inside and much to the disgust of the receptionist continued chewing her gum. " These are your class schedules. Matilda we have a strick policy on chewing gum and also please remove your make up. " WHAT! With a stony gaze she reached out accepting her class schedule. Scanning it she wasn't all that suprised to find herself in all the bottom classes. Matthew was the smart one and Matilda was the dumb one it's how it was. Gazing quietly at her brother she stuffed the peice of paper into her bag. " Thanks. " Matthew spoke quickly to the lady. " Now quick both of you to class now you don't want to be late on your first day now do you." She spoke enthusiastically.
They didn't did they? She'd sure show that woman. Giving her the fakest smile she could muster she turned on her heels walking quickly out of the office. " Til. Just go to class." Was he for real. " What if I don't want to." Flipping him the finger she moved along the hallway. " Besides where is this said class?" She muttered. " Let's ask someone." Pursing her lips she stared her brother down. " I don't do people." Really she was going to blame him for all this. " We are here because of you Tillie so don't go forgetting that anytime soon." Snatching up her shedule he gave it a quick scan. " There your in that class room. After you'll have to use those amazing social skills of yours and ask where your next class is." Giving her a push towards the class room door he looked at the number for his class. " Look i'll see you at lunch okay."
Leaving her standing idly at the door he turned away hurrying along till he found his class. She was going to screw up. There was no way she could just sit down and shut up in a class. Someone would annoy her and all hell would break lose. Sighing he spotted his classroom. " Here goes nothing." He muttered to himself. Walking into the room he gave the class a quick scan before walking over to the teacher. " I'm Matthew Harper i've just transfered to the school." He explained. " Yes yes. Take a seat Matthew." Well that worked out alright no rubbish about introducing yourself to the glass. Scanning the room he instantly decided he'd stay away from the girls. They looked much to rediculous in his eyes. With an unkind smirk towards their direction he took a seat wondering how Tillie was faring.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Just to spite the teacher Tillie stood standing outside the door for ten whole minutes. Ten minutes late. That would put her in the bad books already. Lazily she walked into the room already deciding she hated the class. " Matilda Harper is it?" The woman asked her voice already sounding on edge. Flashing her a stony gaze she shook her head. " My name is Tillie." SERIOUSLY she even enrolled in the damned school under Tillie but they still insisted in calling her Matilda. " Your late. Quickly take a seat and do not disturb my class." Giving her a ' do you think I care about your class' Look she quietly looked around the class. Disturb the class, like she needed to do that. Anything she did would just contribute to the noise. Moving towards the back of the classroom she grabbed a spare desk beside the window instantly grabbing her Ipod and shoving the ear phones in her ears. Forty minutes of this then home free.

But it was class time now and he would have to worry about that later. Sam walked to his classroom and strolled right in even though he was a few minutes late he was the best student in class so he shouldn't catch any heat from the teacher. Sam glanced up at the teacher who was already writing things on the board and they met each others eyes but the teacher only smiled at him. He then walked to about the middle of the classroom and then took a seat off to the side. He opened his note book and began writing down all the things on the board. As much as things became repetitive for him in school he didn't mind being here. It meant that he didn't have to be at home and remember all the old days when his parents were still alive. ~~~ They were yelled at a couple of times to keep quiet in the back but it only lasted a few minutes. Colin just loved pissing this teacher off, then again it wasn't that hard to do either. Give a wrong answer, ask a stupid question or give a simple smirk and the teacher was yelling at him. It was the only way to make the day go by faster, though it wasn't that he wanted to go home he just didn't want to deal with school or home and wanted to go hang out with his friends. Getting into to trouble was Colin's thing. It just came natural to him yet he still held good grades to get into a college. But sports would be the thing putting him through college. Football, basketball hell he even played golf. But soon they all calmed down and did pull out their books to learn something for the day. As much as he wanted to get the teachers vein to pop out of her head he had to try not to get suspended again for his grandmother. She didn't need anymore stress in her life.

This was already proving to be a long day. Boy oh boy did she need a smoke. Laying her head down on her desk she closed her eyes attempting to shut out all the noise.
" Your name was Matilida right?" Spoke an annoying voice. Slowly she opened her eyes to gaze at the red head girl infront of her. " Oh I just knew it was you as soon as you walked through that room. " What on earth? As the girl nudged one of the girls sitting next to her both turned around giggling at Tillie. " We all went to kindergarten together then started school together." She spoke in a high pitched tone. Of course loserville someone was bound to remember her. Pulling out her earphones she stared at the girls. They did look familiar. Should she remember them? Most of this placed she'd managed to lock out of her mind.
Her dad had left and then their mother had uprooted them at the age of 7. This place had far and inbetween memories for her. " So who the hell are you?" She spoke rudely. " She was weird even when she lived here." One of the girls spoke loudly. " Whatever Lilianna just ignore her. " Yes please stop talking to me Tillie thought. As both girls turned back to their work she breathed a sigh of relief.
At least now the class was quiet though there was the small matter of people remembering her. Pulling at her book she gazed up at the board her mind a mess. Her mother had her diagnosed with Dyslexia at a young age. Whatever like she cared all she knew was those words on the boards were beginning to do her head in. English out of all the subjects she failed was the one that came out with an epically disasterous end of year result. There was no way she could do this. Closing her eyes she lay her head back down on the desk. " Matilda please take your book out and do your class work. " The teacher spoke loudly interupting her dozing. " No." She responded automatically. " I beg your pardon." The woman looked utterly horrified that she'd back chatted her. " I said no." She repeated in a lazy tone. " That's enough young lady you'll be on detention at lunch time and I will be talking to your father." Oh shiot he was really going to rip into her. Yeay for verbal discusions.
With a lazy expression she reached into her pocket for a smoke. " Your under the impression I care." Wondering just how far she could push the woman she lit the smoke sticking it in her mouth. " That's it I want you out of my class room right now." The woman shrieked. Too easy. Tossing her book on to the ground she kicked her chair and desk smiling some at the awful big noise it made. Score 1 Tillie. Feeling quite proud of herself she walked out of the classroom.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sitting in the class Matthew found himself easily able to pick up on the work. Here he'd been stressing that he'd be way behind having not attended school for quite some time. It was fine till the teacher mentioned the up coming assignment. Jesus way to be thrown in the deep end. Here was a topic he'd just started today and already an assignment. " I'll be placing you into groups today." The man explained. Group work. He liked school but detested group work. HE always got dumped doing work.
As the teacher walked over towards his desk he turned his head paying full attention. " I've paired you up with Sam. He's the top of the class here and will be able to help you with the assignment though taking into account your grades from your previous schools I think you'll find the task easy."

Colin noted everyone in the classroom and was about to stir up the class cause it was beginning to get too quiet but then noise erupted from the other side. Several students gasped at the girl who was making the noise and Colin smirked, however it wasn't the fact that he thought what she did was not half bad it was the fact that she was crouching in on his territory and Colin hated when others upstaged him. 'Not to worry. I'll soon repay the favor' he thought to himself as he watched her leave the room. Colin finished up his work and put everything away, slinging his backpack over one shoulder he walked up to the teachers desk disregarding all the other students as he always did and placed his work on her desk then left. It had been like that for awhile now, he would always get the work done, screw off and then just leave as he pleased. He was sure the teacher was use to it by now cause she had stopped yelling at him for leaving. Though for the first couple of months after he first starting doing it the principle would call him down to his office. But things got a little better after that. Colin made his way out the back of the school and kept walking though it didn't look as though he was ditching but then again the back of the school was the best way to sneak off campus during class time. Colin just kept walking, not caring who watched him or if he were to get stopped. He found his spot several yards away from the campus and pulled out a pack of smokes. This was the only place he could do this cause his grandmother had already wasted two packs of his when she found them when him and his brother first moved in. ~~~ Sam had been entranced with his work to even noticed that the teacher was starting to pair people off or more like just him. All the others were put into groups but then again that was how it always happened. Not many people liked working with Sam for one reason or another. 'You're too smart, you're just like your brother, ugh not him again' he replayed some comments in his head that he had heard over the years, making him cringe a little but then he cleared his head and turned to his partner. Well this kid didn't look so bad and by the teachers words he didn't sound like he would be too bad of a partner either. "Hi, names Sam Thorn" he said holding out his hand to the new kid. "What's yours?"

It hadn't taken Tillie long to grab her bag apply a heap more make up then exit the school. Smoke still in hand she looked around the street. Like seriously what was there to do here even? This place was dreadful. Taking another puff from her smokes she sat down on the side walking deliberatly in the way of the walking public who chastised her as they had to walk around the teenage girl. " Tell someone who cares." She called to their disapearing figures. She didn't care. Finishing of her smoke she flicked in on the ground instantly lighting up another. Smoking might kill you but as everyone was going to die of something she felt no need to give up her beloved smokes.
~~~
It shouldn't feel so umcomfortable considering the amount of schools he'd been to, but still the first day of school sucked. Giving a nod of his head at the teacher he looked around quietly. Well who on earth was Sam? Some what relived when the guy introduced himself he gave him an easy smile. " Hey I'm Matt. Look...if you aren't going to do anything on this assigment could you let me know now. I need to pass alright." He wasn't being rude just straight to the point. People who weren't going to help really annoyed him and of course it was meant to be group work. His work would suffer. " However..the teacher said he paired me with you for a reason. So I figure you'll contriubute right?" With a chuckle he gazed around the classroom. " I'm going to be honest though as of now I've got really no ideas. Just got shoved in the deep end. Kind of sucks having an assignment on your first day at a new school but i'm a quick learner. Give me a bit to study up on the topic and I'll be able to contribute more tomorrow."
Once finished relieving the stress from his mind Colin made his way back inside but decided to stop at his locker this time. There were a few things he needed to get and a few people to see before the next class started. From there he walked to the furthest end of the school into the boys locker room for gym classes. "You're late" he heard but didn't care who said it. He just walked to the back of the locker room and stuffed his things into his other locker. "You got the stuff?" he heard someone whisper and he just pulled towel out of his locker letting it drop. "Got what I need?" Colin replied but the guy was gone. He picked up his towel and knew that he wouldn't be disappointed. All the information he would need. ~~~ Sam was a bit shocked by the guys attitude, he was here to do his assignment and graduate. But he sighed a little placed his hand in his pocket and glared at the kid. "Anyone ever tell you that first impressions are hard to shake. If you can't adjust well then maybe you should do your own project cause I don't need a newbie to the school to screw up my GPA" Sam snapped at him and gathered his things. He was the best student in this school how could that kid just sit there and judge him like that. 'Did you see me judging you?!' Sam fumed inside his head. Though unknown to Sam this was what his brother usually did and it hit Sam right before he left that he was acting just like his delinquent brother. He walked back over to the kid and placed a piece of paper on his desk with his cell number "If you ever want to try again at that first impression call me" then he turned around and walked out of the class room just at the bell rang.
First impressions. Last imressions. It really didn't matter all that much to him. He knew what he wanted in life and achieving that and keeping Tillie in line was all he had to acomplish. Some brat from a country town getting mouthy back at him was far from his interest. " Say that when you meet my sister." He replied evenely. If he did ever manage to make friends in a school Tillie well and truly went out of her way to ruin their lives. She was a wicked little thing at times. Gazing idly at the peice of paper he tucked in into his back pocket.
Next class was a blur as he found himself re-learning things he already knew. With a satisfied sigh he stood up glad that it was lunch time. Really all he needed to do now was go to the library study up on english and come up with some ideas for the project. Grabbing up his books he retraced his footsteps managing to find his locker. So where was Tillie? Had she even turned up for a class today? With a shake of his head he sent her a quick text then made his way towards the library.
A phone call later and a few mindless idle words from her father she found herself seated in the bag of his car dragged back to school. Gazing at her phone she grinned slightly to herself. Well atleast it was lunch time. Not even conversing a word with her father she threw open the car door and raced out slaming it shut with a loud bang. " Now if I was Matthew where would I be?" She mused to herself. " Dear lord this hillbilly school better not have a library." Recieving a text from Matt she rolled her eyes. " Of course backward hillbilly school has a library." She muttered.
Now where in the heck was this library located? To prideful and antisocial to ask for help she roamed around finally locating a sign saying library. Following the sign she eyed the building up apprehensively before entering. " Dorkus why are you in the library?" Reaching out she hugged her brother. " Dad totally busted me skipping school. He's in nazi mode and took all my smokes." With a pout she looked down at the books Matthew was reading. " Oh english ewww." Folding her arms she took a seat next to him. " I'm hungry can we go eat something?" She spoke covering his eyes preventing him from reading further. " Just a second Till I need to know this stuff." He explained. Stupid book worms. Removing her hand she folded her arms across her chest sulking. " Alright done." Now where was that kids number? Rumaging through his pockets he finally found it. " Alright just a sec." He added. Standing up he quickly typed in the number. ' Hey it's Matt. I went to the library i've got some ideas for the project if you want to hear them.' Sending the text quickly he then looked to Tillie. " Welll where are we going to go then?" He asked. There was always the cafeteria they could check out the food there and if they disliked it possibly skip home quickly.
" Food. Cafeteria has some alright stuff. I know where it is." With a shrug she walked out of the library. Truth be told she now knew where most things were due to her long walk around whilst trying to locate the library. " I really need a smoke." Moving to the cafeteria she ignored Matt's lecture on how bad they were for her. " Well fine. I wont smoke. Give me a nice bottle of vodka about now and i'll be peachy."
In school the brothers were hardly ever seen together and that wasn’t just cause their classes were different, they didn’t like to hang out in school together. They got enough of each other at home and just cause they were twins why did they have to have the same friends or do the same things. They were still two different people that just happen to look like the same person. However on occasion the boys could be seen talking in the quad about one thing or another or even on a rarer occasion eating lunch with the same group of people.
This time though Sam didn’t want to deal with his brother since he had seen him in the halls right before lunch being sneaky, which meant that he was up to something that Sam wanted nothing to do with. As Sam walked into the cafeteria he had a bad feeling though as he was getting some food for himself. “Hey, I need your help with something” he heard Colin whispered in his ear and Sam gave an exasperated sigh. He knew his nice day was too much to ask today. “I can’t help you this time Colin, I’ve got too much going on” Colin wrapped an arm around Sam’s shoulders “Come on brother. You always help me. One way or another” was the last that Colin said before he left. Sam ran a hand across his face, he didn’t like it when Colin got like this but he did know that sooner or later he would be helping him whether he wanted to or not. His brother was just so irritating at time. But like Colin wanted Sam left his tray of food there and headed out of the cafeteria.
It didn't particularly phase him that Sam hadn't answered his text. He could always try ringing the guy he figured. Following afte Tillie he gazed around the school cafeteria. Well it was easy to find out the school pecking orderl. " See there's assholes in every school." Tillie observed. " Yeah but that's just you. Come n i'm hungry let's get so much."
Lunch tray in hand he quickly passed one to Tillie. " The food looks edible." She offered. " Your such a fussy eater. For once the food is edible. " He answered. As she made a running commentary on all the food he just selected stuff he knew he could eat then urged her to do the same.
" I really do want a drink." Tillie complained as they got a seat away from everyone. Hand playing with her coloured hair she sighed sinking in her seat as she then stared to play with her hair." Would love a smoke." She grumbled. "Smoking is disgusting." Matthew answered. Rolling his eyes he decided to test the food. " It's actually nice Tillie. Stop whinging just eat okay."
