When Neve seemed to cooperate with him and Xi seemed humored by the turn of events he nodded. "We are headed to a ruin not too far actually. Kagrenzel, just north of here, should be a simple days trip, might camp out over night if we are tired though." He stated to let her know he had no intention of being in the ruins long. Xi nodded to atrious,"Maybe right a letter? Might make thos orc trust us more?" He asked getting a suprised look from Atrious. "That's a good idea, I'll do so." He stated before getting up and scribbled a letter to the orc, mentioning to relinquish the scroll on his request and that it would be returned.

After they all worked out where they were going and a letter was written, the groups set out on their separate ways. Neve followed Atrious toward the ruins. They had decided to camp out nearby as Neve did not feel confident going down in that ruin within some daylight to return to. By the morning, they headed down into the ruin, Neve looking like a woman walking on pins and needles. After all, she could see remnants of her ancestors there by all the skulls and charrin parts. They had to take out a few that attacked them when they tried to get through some caverns. But once they stepped foot in the ruins, they were already assailed by machines of all shapes and sizes. The dynamo core would be closer to the heart of the city....Neve could remember that those lumbering machines were usually guards of the nobility and therefore stayed in the upper quarters. She felt her stomach twist at the sight of the halls, the sight bringing her back to when she was a young woman wandering halls like this, watching Dwemmer and machines pass her by. "I guess we'll know when we see one of the huge bastards." She said, trying to hide how uncomfortable she was. ~~~~ Elrick was uneasy to see Neve go without him but he knew it was best not to push her. She would be fine traveling on her own and would have Psyna there to help protect her and Atrious. So instead, he went with Xi to the library at the college, finding he was uncomfortable surrounded by gawking mages. Elrick was very clearly not a mage and had no magical inclination whatsoever. When they made it to the stuffy old orc with the letter. "We need the Elder Scroll. Arch Mage business and all that." He said since he was sure the Orc didn't want them filling up his time with explanations when he had the letter.

When a rather large Jordan that he remembered came in with a tall pretty boy- who was armed to the teeth he frowned, if an orc could frown more that is. When the nordic handed a letter to them, stating it was 'arch mage' business he rose a brow, the arch mage was usually busy but not with a crowd like that. When he opened the letter he nodded, he understood now that these friends' of Atrious's did not understand the difference in his title now. "To be completly honest, that pepsqueek isnt the archmage anymore- he is referred to as an archivist. Meaning hes the same rank as the Arch mage, but not. I can comply with his wishes, he did mention it before he left." He stated as he lead them down a row of shelves and moved a book to.open a passage, allowing them down with him to a larger room with locked cabinets and display cases with many rare books. He went to one on the rare side and cast a spell to unlock it before handing the scroll to Elrick. "Bring it back in one peice. Or else." He stated bluntly getting a chuckle from Xi, the first sound from the man. "Indeed, once we read it and its use is gone, we will indeed return it." He stated smoothly getting a leery look from the orc about the sweet talking. ~~~~~ The ruin was dark and gross, it made Ateious's chest hurt from all the dust and trying to breath. He summon a few things to help but it was obvious he was still lacking dearly in stamina. They had to stop every other room for him to rest, clearly out of breath. They were nearing the bottom of the ruin when Neve finally seemed to speak up, as far as Atrious could tell to cover her anxiety. "Yep, then we can shut it up and rip its insides out. " he stated clearly find with the idea of finding it and killing it. They made their way through a few more rooms till they came face to face with a steam guardian however they were in luck- this one was deactivated. Atrious was taking this as a lucky break, as he quickly dismantled the mechanisms and got the part he wished, as well as a gem stone and a soul gem. They created again before taking a lift to the surface, not far from the camp thankfully. Atrious seemed exhausted, panting from just walking and carrying the orb. "Damn thing weights a ton." He stated in his defense, even if his wife made fun of his priestly constitution. ~~~~~~~~ Ordo was reading a book he found on Vampirism when Serena came into the room and gave him an odd look. "Can I help you?" He asked, not even with an attitude ans the girl chuckled. "I see you have the same kind of humor as my uncle. I am glad you get along with him. He is a lonely man." She stated honestly getting a nod from Ordo. "I know, but so was I. So now we have one another." He stated softly to the girl that seemed to know her manners. Metta gave a noise of disagreement from the colts in the next room, more to show she was still mad, not that it mattered. Xi has spoken and made it very clear.

Neve gave a relieved sigh at their luck since it meant that they could get the core without fighting first. Luckily, Atrious got the piece he needed, a soul gem it seemed. Neve was curious about this process they were going through just to read this elder scroll. It seemed like a lot and she wondered if they couldn’t just take it to a priest to read...But she trusted the process because it was her brother. They went into the camp grounds, Atrious still puffing like he had run a marathon. This adventure made it clear that Atrious couldn’t keep up with adventuring anymore...She brushed the unfortunate thoughts off and gave her brother a curious look. “So we got the soul gem. That will help us with the elder scroll?” She asked since she didn’t want to harp on Atrious’s health when Psyna was attending to that. ~~~~ Elrick caught that the orc was suspicious, but he was grateful the man was willing to be social. The explanation of Atrious’s title made Elrick only nod. He had heard from Neve once that Atrious was some important Arch Mage thing and he just assumed she was right. Of course Neve wasn’t entirely right. Eventually they got the scroll, and thankfully without much arguement. He still wasn’t too sure what this would tell them but Xi seemed to think they wouldn’t need it long. “We should head back then...The others might be back.” He said since he was still worried slightly about Neve running around without him.

When his sister asked what purpose this would serve he gave a breathy chuckle," this was what the moth priest asked as a price to read both scroll. He was asked to come along to the fort already, he should be there waiting. We shoud head back soon. Just cut me some slack, I'm old." He joked getting a snicker from Psyna. ~~~~~~ Returning was quick, between both men who needed no sleep, they traveled swiftly and made it back before the sibling who were less then a day away, seems Atrious slowed them down considerably. They returned to the fort to find Ordo and Serena speaking easily, Metta in the other room, clearly ignoring the two. When Xi stood in the door way, it was almost a delayed second that Ordo's ears perked and he swung his head in his direction, giving him an oddly welcoming smile. He got up and pounced on the man, Xi easily catching him. He gave him a feisty kiss before wiggling his way out of his grip tk get behind him to glomp on Elrick on a hug as well. It was his usual childish nature to miss his friends after all.

Elrick hadn’t expected for Ordo to leap on him in a hug, as he was wrapped up in Xi’s attention. However, the sudden arms around him made the large man jump in surprise. “Who—?” He then paused when he heard the familiar laugh of Ordo, one that sounded all to similar to his one as a child. Of course it was different when a young boy surprises you out of the dark and not one that was full grown. Elrick gave Ordo’s arm a pat and eased him down before looking to him. “You act like we weren’t coming back...Glad to see you were good like you promised. Even made a friend perhaps?” He ruffled Ordo’s hair before he eased into a settling of a routine to wait for the others. When they arrived, Psyna was helping Atrious into the room and Neve had taken over holding the soul gem. She went to Elrick and gave him a quick peck of greeting, which made him smirk and look down at the stone there in her hand. “That’s quite large.” He said and she gave a wag of her brow. “Yep...this moth priest likes em big.” She teased, getting a roll of the eyes from Elrick.

Ordo seemed to be happy with the words from Elrick about them coming back, even if he always had doubts, he never voiced them. He gave. El a shake of his head,"not really, just talked about Xi a while." He stated to the werewolf to let him know he didn't mind the second girl, but didnt know her well either. Xi went to greet Serena after Ordo went to greet his brother. He chuckled at the mans' childishness but gave a shrug since he came by it honestly. "Things were well?" He asked getting a brief explanation of Metta being an anti social person, Isran watching them like a hawk and Ordo being nice for conversation. It wasn't too long that Veloss, psyna and Atrious came into the fort- priest looking exhausted. Psyna got Atrious to a bed to rest since he looked about dead on his feet already, before she even got his feet in the bed the man was out cold. She gave a huff, before sitting down in a chair and staring a break since priest was heavy. Xi heard Neve's joke and chuckled,"moth priest? Can they fly? Do they do something with moths?" He asked inquisitivly since he hadn't heard of them before.

Neve giggled at Xi’s joke because she loved that image of an old man flying around. Elrick gave her giggle a kiss to the top of the head that drew her attention. “Oh both of you quit. It’s a priest that has dedicated themselves to reading the elder scrolls. It blinds them over time. My brother joined them shortly before the attack on Saarthal.” He said before gesturing to the scroll there. “The information in that thing is so powerful that it could possibly blind whichever one of us reads it. I’d rather a trained priest does it rather than us.” He stated before he then looked to Xi. “Once we get this scroll read we can go after the bow right? I’m assuming that Serana mentioned her father didn’t have it.” He asked since the man had spoken more with the girl.
