Momoko smiled brightly when Adrian mentioned meeting her after school. She waved her hand that wasn’t holding her nose while he walked off back to class. She went into the nurse’s office afterwards, the woman rushing to her with a bit of a shocked expression. Momoko was taken care of and her nose eventually stopped bleeding. She even got out of most of her next class because she was feeling a bit light headed. Of course, Momoko was only slightly lightheaded; though that didn’t stop her from milking out some melon bread and juice from the nurse. She was able to lounge out on one of the beds and just think. Eventually though, Momoko was feeling perfectly fine and she had to go back to class. After cleaning herself up and changing out of her now bloodied gym clothes, Momoko quietly entered class and slipped in behind Adrian. She managed to shoot a glare to one of the boys that she had a feeling had been the one to pull her down. ~~~ Sohta caught back up to Yumino, walking next to her with only one hand inside of his pocket. His blue eyes turned towards Yumino when she asked him a question he had not expected her to ask. His lips seemed as though he was trying to smile but resisting, a hesitating flicker of a smile trying to form on his features. “Yes.” He said simply, pausing to see how she would react to his utter blatant-ness of the topic. Nothing would change his opinion on the matter as it wasn’t something that could be argued. “Power given to you, such as wealth or status—“ He began, watching where he was going, but keeping his eyes on Yumino’s expression. “It can give you the means to make your desires come true. The power that you are given from birth, your ability to make things happen through your own will; that makes everything more personal—fun even.” He smiled for real this time, stepping to the side to avoid a passing individual. “Combine the two and you have the means and the enjoyment to get what you want.” He shrugged his shoulders some, wondering if she was thinking about the deal she had made. Yumino came from a powerful line of witches and though she was only half witch, she had great potential inside of her. Sohta had only given her the means to unlock that power; Yumino always had that power inside of her. He just wondered what she would do with it.
((Sorry if Sohta isn't making much sense. I was having trouble finding a way for him to say what I wanted him to say if that makes any sense at all.))

Class as usual was boring to him, His eyes out on the school ground imagining he was elsewhere. The teacher was talking about some English when the door slide open quietly and the seat behind him was once again filled in. He didn't show that he was glad to see she was alright but instead huffed in slight annoyance of already knowing the lesson at hand. He knew English- he could speak it almost fluently- and he was getting there with Japanese. He gathered him things up when the bell finally rang for club activities. There was also a cleaning crew but he had a club to go to still. Standing up he walked out of the room with his bag over his shoulder. Club was going to be boring almost, but Kendo was Kendo- he could get a scholar ship if he worked at it.

Yumino felt when Sohta looked to her. It was a sort of pull that made her eyes meet his. She listened to his rather firm answer and despite her inner curiousity, her face held no sign of reaction. She listened to his explenation and found herself having to carefully consider the words. She understood what he was getting at however. It was a person's influence that led to the ability to persue your desires, but your will gave you the drive to be relentless. It was definitely something to think about and it left her with alot of questions that she couldn't ask of a non magic user. Peoples ignorance of magic had already been the root of enough trouble in her life. She didn't want to cause more of it by telling a stranger too much about herself, especially not something he could use against her. She thought to herself about her abilities and wondered if perhaps her intentions weren't all that pure....Well even if they weren't she didn't exactly have time to go power crazy what with August in control of her soul. She shyed away from thoughts of him, mostly because she couldn't risk showing a strange expression to Sohta over this topic. In fact, she shouldn't have even mentioned this kind of thing in the first place... "We seem to have quite deep conversations for a pair of strangers..you're very insightful Sohta." She said a hint of vague humor in her tone. She was more or less evading the continuation of the topic of power as to not psyche herself out. on her plans for her slim future. ((Lol I think I got it. Correct me if I'm wrong though!))

Momoko wasn’t paying attention in class. She was a bit worried about what her brother would think about her bringing a boy home, though she didn’t he would mind too much as long as he was gone before sundown. Class was over before she knew it and she almost walked right out before remembering that she was on the cleaning crew today. She got to work with three others and they had the room cleaned within a ten or so minutes. She hurried to her club afterwards, pausing when she went past the kendo club since she caught sight of Adrian. He was so cute. She smiled and contained the giddy feeling she had inside before rushing into the locker rooms and throwing on the special dress code required to be part of the gymnastics club. She was welcomed in late, everyone know those that had cleaning duties could be late on their assigned days. Club activities felt almost boring for Momoko right now. She was so eager to meet up with Adrian that she missed a landing and instead landed flat on her back. She just wasn’t having a lot of luck today it seemed. ~~~ Sohta smiled, his eyes crinkling lightly at the corners. “Well thank you.” He replied as he paused at the front of the doorway to their class room. “Would you think about becoming less stranger-y and more friendly?” He questioned, not really sure why he had sad it. He gave her a wink and opened up the classroom door; stepping inside of it and keeping it open for Yumino to come in after him. He sat down in a random seat, finding it funny how people tended to freak out when anyone changed seats in the middle of the semester. He actually chose the seat that was diagonal to Yumino. This class wasn’t a large lecture room, about thirty or so desks were spread out in front of a large white board with chalk boards on the wall that the door was on.

He stepped into the ring, his thick robes heavy on his middle and the wooden sword stolid in his hand. Bowing he waited- the wire mask narrowing his vision but he could see right past him, making it easier to see his movements- predict them. When it was called to begin he didn't hesitate and struck- he saw the other man moving to the left so he jabbed from the left right into the neck- getting a point. The boy glared at him threw his own mesh mask-she hated Adrian because hew as a geek- and he was good at sports- an unusual mix- for an outsider anyhow. He won that match-he showered and changed, his long red hair still wet when he went out side to wait by the big tree they said to meet up by. He didn't see her yet but he assumed she would be along soon. Sitting down he pulled out some of his reading homework and began reading the simple novel form English class in English, it felt like a children's chapter book to him.

Sohta asking her if she wanted to be more familiar with him made Yumino pause. Though she couldn't tell exactly what he meant by that or why he would want anything to do with her, she gave him a long look before going into the classroom. She didn't know how exactly to respond to that, since she had more people that avoided her than want to talk to her. Some might think it rude. It was more along the lines of she didn't want to say something stupid or wierd. She sat down in her usual seat, one that was not exactly in the front but not in the back either. It let her see the board and gave people ample room to find seats before they were forced to sit near her. Not that people really cared exactly, they just felt that she let off a very icy aura so they tended to feel uncomfortable. She pulled out her note book and a pen, a smaller notebook on the corner of her desk. she sat perfectly poised in her desk, paying not much mind to the people coming into class. She was lost in thought a bit, wondering if she should have taken the day off today to practice a few spells. She needed to make herself be the best if she had any hopes of being ready before August came to collect...

Momoko’s head wasn’t in the moment. She wasn’t preforming her best and the seniors noticed, pulling her aside and giving her a talk. She just smiled and nodded her head before going back to the routine that she had been assigned. Eventually though, everything was done. She showered and changed quickly, barely being able to contain herself. She nearly skipped to the front door and settled down before she pushed the doors open, walking confidently out of them. The sun made her squint some, the feel of it against her skin a bit off, but she wouldn’t complain. At least she could see the sun unlike her brethren. She smiled when she saw Adrian sitting under a tree reading; his red hair was damp. Her dark hair was wet too, hanging down her back. She walked up to him and bent over slightly at the waist. “Ready to go?” She questioned, noticing that he was reading a book from their English classes. It was an easy language so she never had trouble in the class. She knew about three or four other languages too, her brother knew more; but that was the different a few decades between their ages could do. ~~~ As class started and everyone settled in, Sohta barely paid attention. He eyes flickered from his own notebook to Yumino. She sat with perfect posture and grace. She was quite beautiful and it was everyone else’s loss for not seeing that. Her hair looked soft and he once again had the urge to run his fingers through it. It was a bit silly really. He pushed that thought far out of his mind. Sohta’s eyes were pulled from Yumino at the sound of someone late entering the room. He glanced towards them and found that it was no one of any consequence. He looked to the board and found all sorts of numbers and letters and symbols forming equations that once would have confused him. It didn’t and he found it almost annoying in a way. Of course, he had chosen to do this and go to college. It seemed more fun than a boring job as a waiter and this way, he could see Yumino without being behind a circle; though now with him technically owning her soul, he could do that anyways. Class came to a close and Sohta ripped a sheet of paper out of his note book, resisting the urge to take the small note book on the edge of her desk for the purpose of writing his number in it. He jotted his number down with his first name next to it as he stood and set it down on Yumino’s desk. “Call me some time.” He said cheerfully and turned away with a satisfied smile, disappearing out of the door and into the crowd of other students.
((Wanted to speed things up. If you had anything you wanted to do, I’ll change my post. Just let me know.))

He didn't look up when she came near simply smiled at her with a nod, finishing the paragraph before closing the book with a soft click, putting it away in his bag. "Certainly." He said as he stood up and followed her off the school grounds. They got a couple weird looks from a few kids still there but he ignored them completely.

(Nah it's all good. I'm playing this all by ear lol)
Yumino's mind wandered elsewhere even though her pen roboticaly coppied the equations on the board. Her mind flitted between things she had to do when she got home and things she needed to purchase for her magic. Seems she was running low on charcoal and she wanted to try and get a bit more salt. Lastly she was going to have to visit her mother to get her hands on a better charm or two for cleaning that smell summoning demons gave off. Her landlord already complained, claiming she had a dog in the apartment against regulation. Yumino only apologized since she couldn't exactly defend her case on that one. She couldn't exactly tell the woman she was summoning demons now could she? Time seemed to pass quickly and before she knew it, people were getting to their feet, Yumino being one of the last to rise and collect her things. Before she could grab her note books, suddenly a piece of paper was on her desk. She blinked and looked up at Sohta when he told her to call him and she watched him leave with a bit of unreadable shock on her face. A few of the people still in the class looked just as shocked and instantly a few whispers rose up around her. Yumino got to her feet, ignoring the chatter and just gathering her things. She took the paper with his number, looked at it for a moment before placing it in the pocket with her phone. She wasn't sure what to make of this whole situation really. She had never had someone approach her like this. It was shocking...but also interesting. The question was though, did she actually want to be closer to Sohta? He was a nice guy...but really what did she know about him? But if they were friendlier, wouldn't she know more about him.... Her phone trilled and she looked down to see it was her alarm telling her that she had to be at her first job in the library. It wasn't much but at least it paid for all her books...
((Sorry Vamp fixed it. It must have been one of THOSE nights lol))

Momoko smiled as Adrian stood and she took a step back as well. They walked together off of campus, Momoko too busy with trying to act normal that she didn’t really even notice the glances from other students. She wouldn’t have cared anyways. She was walking home from school together with Adrian; that by itself was enough to make her be happier than a squirrel with an acorn. Eventually they were on the streets, the school behind them. She turned her silvery eyes to face Adrian, her hair hanging limply because of its dampness. “What are you going to ask my brother?” She questioned him, her playful attitude obvious in her tone, but her eyes were more serious. The way Sohta had been acting recently, she was worried he might get angry for her bringing someone over. He wouldn’t hurt the boy—she hoped. ~~~ Sohta was off of campus as quick as could be. His mind replayed her expression over and over again, the shock of him throwing his number on her desk was clear to him. He had seen enough of her to be able to read her better than most. A few people that were friendly with him had tried to start up conversations, but he just brushed them off; feigning a need to hurry to get to a job that in actuality did not exist. He smirked, a rather cocky grin to no one in particular and shoved his hands into his pocket. He would get home and wait for Momoko to get home. Of course, that wasn’t going to happen right away because he heard his name being called from behind him. He turned around and found a teacher’s assistant running after him. The man helped out in one of Sohta’s music classes. Sohta stopped walked and waited for the man to catch up. Akira, at least that was what Sohta thought his name to be, stopped to catch his breath and hunched over for a moment. “You are a hard man to catch.” Akira finally managed to get out. Sohta frowned, having a bad feeling about this. “Professor Sazuki told me to give you this.” He handed Sohta a piece of paper. After reading it, Sohta’s frowned deepened. It was a flyer stating that he was to be one of a few students giving a concert in two days. It was at night. “I can’t do this.” Sohta said, attempting to hand the paper back to Akira. The man’s good nature seemed to shatter and he looked frustrated. “It doesn’t matter if you can’t do it. You will be doing it or you are going to fail this class and not be allowed to take it again. You haven’t attended any of the previous assignments and Professor Sazuki has been kind enough to give you one last chance. You are the lead singer in this concert and you will attend. I can’t help you anymore so just be there, okay Sohta.” Sohta nodded when Akira had finished his miniature speech. Inside he was quite angry, but it wasn’t this man’s fault. He had helped him out before with coming up with excuses and the like. It seemed like he didn’t have much of a choice if he wanted to seem like a normal person. Sohta made it home afterwards, his mood rather sour. He started making some, putting a stew on for dinner that needed to cook for a few hours. Momoko would be home in about three and they could eat a little later. He wondered what she was going to say to his little predicament.

He turned his eyes to her,"I will be polite and not get straight to the point...Some polite conversation is good...I was going to ask about summoning runes and maybe even trust worthy calling names...If you know the runes you have summoned before- an I correct?" He said his voice confident as he said this- he was confident in this subject hoping he was able to get some help from her brother. If he could help he could get his summoning done...his dream achieved eventually- he wanted to make a point that his mother was just dumb for not knowing what was what before she did anything. She must have thought hew as stupid for messing in the dark arts but he was a learned child- he knew the difference between a snake and a stick.

Yumino sat in the history section of the library, catagorizing a few of the books there. She was doing quite well actually, even though her mind was hardly focused on the books in her hands. She was thinking of everything today and yesterday. Perhaps she could practice her illumination spell again tonight, or maybe even do a bit of meditating to calm her magic a bit. Whatever needed to happen to get her in better control over it was key at this point. August had given her the power, but the problem was that she wasn't accustomed to controling that much power. She would have to figure out her limits quickly, since she sensed August was patient but not kind enough to give her forever to learn what she needed to learn "Yumi-san, please stop zoning out." A female voice said behind her and Yumino jumped. She looked back to see a girl that volunteered there walking over to her with a new stack of books. Though her eyes were always down cast, this girl always spoke kindly to her. Yumino would treat her kindly for that, even though she hardly told the girl more than an hour of trivial conversation a day. "Sachiyo-san, I'm sorry. I've got alot on my mind." "Yes, I heard that today you were with Sohta-san..." Yumino looked back to her books that she was organizing and gave a small nod. "He offered to talk." She said handing Sachiyo a pair of books that were missing bar codes. Sachiyo gave her a skeptical look before nodding slowly. "Talking....well I hope it goes well Yumi-" She said before bounding away, no doubt to fill in the others that there was nothing special going on between her and Sohta.

Momoko was smile as Adrian spoke, her eyes flickering between him and the road so that she didn’t run into anything in an embarrassing moment of klutziness. Her smile flickered some when he spoke of calling names, though she kept her face from looking concerned. She slid in front of him, a kind but stern expression on her face. “Never tell anyone the summoning name I gave you. I could get in trouble for having given it to you. Its general practice that you aren’t supposed to share the names with anyone; most everyone finds names in old tombs or they get it from a different creature they summon.” She explained and then continued on walking, her expression cheerful again. Soon enough they were in front of Momoko’s house. It was in a decent part of town; not too big and not too small. It was a great place to blend in. She walked up to the door and unlocked it, slipping off her shoes and putting on slippers before stepping into the rest of the house. There were extra slippers for guests; though that was just for show really. The moment Momoko entered the door, the scent of cooking food filled her and she smiled. It seemed as though Sohta was home. “Ni-san!” She called, setting her bag on a chair in the kitchen which was to the left of the entrance way. “I’ve brought a friend home.” Her brow furrowed when there was no response. She walked down the hallway some and she found that her brother’s door was shut. She turned to Adrian and motioned for him to go into the small living room where a couch was and small television. Knocking she opened the door and found Sohta sitting with headphones one, practicing silently on an electric guitar. He was humming quietly to a familiar tune and Momoko was almost sad that she had to interrupt him when he was like this. “Sohta.” She said a touched his shoulders. His eyes flew open, flashing violet as he started to tap a line without control. He instantly stopped when he saw it was Momoko. Taking off his headphones, he gave her a questioning look. “I’ve brought a friend over and I’d like you to meet him.” She explained and one of Sohta’s eyebrows rose. “Him?” He chuckled some and smiled. “Sure. I’ll be out in a moment.” Momoko smiled happily and started to leave, but turned around. “Oh, and he’s a witch.” She said and skipped out before Sohta could say anything about it. She went to the living room and stood in the entrance way. “My brother will be out in a moment. Can I get you anything? Tea, water, coffee, any snacks?” She offered to Adrian, wanting to be a good host.

When she stepped in front of him he came to a very abrupt halt- her eyes serious as her words. He nodded, taking her reasoning seriously- he wasn't sure if he should even cal it however he didn't not want to either- it was exciting to even have it but he was a perfectionist he had to have all the cards before moving on. When the arrived at her house it was quite modest but still well off. He took off his shoes as well and put on the slippers not wanting to scuff the floor. He could smell something good cooking- so he only assumed her mother or some one was cooking. He figured that out when she called for her brother in a very familiar greeting, also announcing him presence, he however followed into the small living room where he was told to wait. He took a seat patiently wondering what was going on- hoping it was alright for him to come over. When she skipped back into the room he smiled," Tea please and thank you." He was a bit nervous to met him alone but eh had faced worse by himself before.

Yumino scanned a book or two she had kept in her bag about a few spells that she had yet to practice. They were a few that she was unable to perfect while studying under her grandmother. She lifted the edge of one page and noticed one spell that was used for making text disappear. She observed the book infront of her and held a hand over it, reciting the old spell only to find when she peeked at the book again the whole book had disappeared. She huffed, closing her book of spells and gave a light frown. She understood that no one ever was just born masters of a talent. It took hard work and determination to get where you wanted in life. She tossed the book back into her bag when a few people passed by where she was still stocking shelves. She couldn't have people looking at her spell book after all. It would only fuel rumors... Her eyes flitted then to her pocket to where the paper with Sohta's number was with her phone. She had been somewhat avoiding thinking of him, but now in the quiet she couldn't help but wonder about him. He was nice, but was that just a front? And with that confidence of his...why would he so suddenly take interest in someone who barely held conversation correctly? She shook her head and went back to work, though she was still unsure of wether to save the number in her phone or not. It would be rude to lose the number but it would be wierd to keep it if he meant nothing by it right? It was all too jumbled up for one day for her...
