After talking with her friend—Miyu—Momoko kept her eyes on Adrian; though it was in a rather subtle way. She watched him stretch and found that he was quite flexible, maybe even double jointed. She smirked, her eyes landing on his rear for a moment before she diverted her attention to herself, stretching and elongating her body. Eventually stretching was over and the coach informed everyone that basketball was going to be the sport they were going to be playing today. Momoko frowned, her height making her at a huge disadvantage for this sport; she was a good shot though. Momoko was surprised when Adrian was picked as a captain. She was even more surprised when he picked her and Miyu. She hopped up and walked over to his side with a smile, giving him a wink. Miyu pinched her side; Momoko elbowing her in return. They looked like a set of children but it was really their way of teasing eachother silently. The game started eventually, Adrian passing Momoko the ball. She dribbled it up the court faster than someone might think a girl her size could. She passed it to Miyu who was a good height and rather athletic despite her nerdy appearance. Her father owned a dojo after all. The girl dodged a defender and took a shot, getting a point for their team. ~~~ Sohta had to suppress a frown from forming on his lips when Yumino stopped touching her demon mark. Did that mean that she had stopped thinking about him? He wondered, but the thoughts disappeared from his mind rather quickly as he didn’t need to fill his head with more thoughts of his little witch. He had to stay on topic here. He needed to be cheerful and as close to normal as possible. He nodded with her response, knowing that it was important to learn from the past to have a better future. Of course human’s and witches had yet to learn from their mistake of treating demons like cattle. It infuriated him that they were so concerned with not committing past mistakes, yet every time they summoned a demon they were making a big one. Once more Sohta had to clear his mind, not wanting his darker thoughts to surface yet. He blinked when an alarm started coming from somewhere and then Yumino pulled it out. She began explaining why she had it and he nodded, standing, though he held a bit of a disappointed expression on his face. He had been enjoying speaking with her. “At least we both won’t be late.” He chuckled and walked over to her side, far enough away that he could doge her if she tried to touch him, which he doubted she would. “We should talk more often, it was nice.” He commented, looking at her through his bangs. He flipped them out of his face with his hand and he walked a few steps towards a trashcan, spitting out his toothpick into it. “Do you want to walk to class together?” He questioned, a bit of a silly one he admitted to himself.

Adrian was surprised that the girls were helping to own on the jocks. That made him smile. When she dribbled the ball quickly up the court he was a bit surprised about her own agility, that made him smirk when he got the ball thrown to him and he had to pass it in, He smirked and passed it to the geek. He figured she would dribble it then pass it to Momoko. Switch things up a bit. He waited by the hoop to see if momoko could pass it or not to see if she was sporty.

She watched his expression, the disappointment there confusing her as well as tempting her to ask him just what made him like speaking to her so much. It wasn't like she was interesting, or cool or even funny. She was just Yumino, quiet and unfazed by much Yumino. He got up and said that they should talk more and, well, Yumino wasn't objecting to it. He seemed nice, patient, and humorous, even if he was a mystery to her in most other regards, such as his choice in conversation partners. She got up herself her bad over her shoulder and her phone back in her pocket. He offered to walk together and she pondered that a moment. She could feel the stares on them, could hear whispering nearby and knew it must somehow be directed to them. It was possibly going to cause him a bit of grief to walk with her...but she didn't exactly see a reason why she had to turn away the offer that he made. If he cared what those people were saying in the first place he wouldn't have spoken to her in the first place right? "Alright." She said, her answer short and simple but it at least was an acceptance of being around him longer. Leaving the cafeteria could have been a news coverage with the way people looked stunned and some made comments. She couldn't quite eat the contents but one girl muttered something about Sohta but it didn't sound quite bad. Perhaps people thought highly of him? Or at least maybe a small majority... Whatever the case, it was interesting to meet someone like this, she guessed...

Miyu got the ball from Adrian, her expression one of determination. She dribbled around a few boys, managing to pass the ball right as she was fouled by one of the sportier boys in the class. The coach didn’t call it though, making Momoko peeved. She received the ball from Miyu and dodged a rather aggressive move by one of the girls on the other team. She saw Adrian by the hoop, but she wanted to show off some. She jumped, doing for a layup and released the ball. It was on a sure fire arc into the hoop, but on her was down; one of the defenders in the mix of things grabbed her feet and pulled. She was thrown off balance and unless she was to show incredible reflexes was going to fall on the back of her head She managed to adjust her position and instead, landed as though she was belly-flopping into a pool. She groaned and heard a whistle being blown. Nothing was broken, though her nose did hurt; it wasn’t broken. She was tempted to use a curse to heal it, but that just could get her in trouble, especially if any of the possible summoners in her class smelled the burning metal. It wouldn’t be good for her to be known as a black witch, even if she wasn’t really a witch. She got up on her hands and knees and then into a kneeling position, holding her nose that was in fact bleeding. That was fantastic, she didn’t have the means to inactive her blood, but it was rather contaminated on the ground of the gym floor and on her gym shorts. This was rather embarrassing in front of Adrian. ~~~ Sohta knew that she probably wouldn’t understand why he bothered speaking to her. Hell, it was obvious that half the cafeteria was wondering what he was do sitting with the so called Ice Queen. He could find out what she was like, hold a true conversation with Yumino without her being scared or concerned that he was going to whisk her away to demon land. After she had stood, Sohta smiled because she agreed to walk with him. He could hear the whispers; the words spoken behind their backs. He heard what they said about Yumino and it made him angry, but he wouldn’t act on it, not now at least. He also heard some of what was said about him. He wasn’t disliked around campus. The majority of students that knew about him thought he was funny. He even had a few girls that would like to be going out with him, though he always declined their company, as much fun as it would have been. Sohta just didn’t like to mess around physically all that much. It was too dangerous. If they weren’t a strong enough witch, he could fry them without meaning to. Sohta didn’t mind the gazes that were turned as they headed out of the cafeteria. Who was with the Ice Queen? Oh, look it’s Sohta—he must be getting ready to do a prank. Words like that and others were murmured by those that knew either Yumino or Sohta—or knew of them. It was almost humorous to Sohta, though he wasn’t sure Yumino found the attention appealing. Maybe he would just have to teach her to be more confident in herself. They made it out of the cafeteria and out onto the chilly air of the open campus. Few people were walking about outside, opting to take the inside routes to avoid the chill of the air. Sohta chuckled some as a gust of wind buffeted around them, his short sleeves shirt seeming silly in the air. It had gotten colder out since he had walked here this morning. It felt like it was going to rain, a cold front coming in; though it wasn’t really that cold. It was just generally warmer this time of the year. His chuckle turned into a light laugh as his ice colored eyes turned towards Yumino. If he had been in her position, Sohta would have not been nice to those in the cafeteria. He would have probably cursed them all with something nasty for a week.

Aiden saw what happened and he ran over shoving the idiot who dragged her- making her nose bleed. He shoved him hard, the crouched to help her up. " are you okay? " he asked her softly his face showing little indifference however he was a little worried. He didn't want it interfering with his own plans most of all. He didn't touch the blood it was a witchthng to keep your self ways from blood unless it was it own and you were using it for magic.

The wind was cold as it passed over the open greenery. She cold feel it nip at her even under her jacket and could feel it tugging her long hair along with it. It was a rather nice feeling however, since colder weather always seemed so much more peaceful. Yumino looked to Sohta when she heard him laugh and she caught his brilliant blue eyes on her. For a moment she realized what others saw in her own eyes, but this was a pool of joy and mysterious other emotions unlike cold emptiness. She liked his smile, his laugh, and the way he looked at her. "You smile at the wind...how strange." She said herself blinking because he didn't seem cold.

Momoko was a bit surprised to find Adrian seeming concerned about her, despite the indifferent tone and expression he wore. She took his hand as he helped her up and she nodded her head. “Yea, but my nose won’t stop bleeding.” She muttered. Her expression was hard to tell because she had her hand over her nose, a bit of blood dripping through. The coach jogged over with a sour frown and lectured Momoko for a quick moment about being more careful. He obviously wasn’t going to get the sporty students in trouble; that would interfere with the sports team. He told Adrian to escort Momoko to the infirmary and then ran off to go take care of class. Momoko glanced at Adrian, but she walked with him towards the infirmary. She wished she could just use her magic, though a bit of a thought came to her, she dismissed it. She wasn’t going to show off her magic in front of Adrian. That would just be asking for trouble. “Sorry the coach made you do this.” She said around her hand, quite embarrassed that he had to see her with a bloodied nose. ~~~ Sohta quirked his brown at Yumino; his lips curling into a bigger smile as his were teeth briefly flashed. “The wind can tell you secrets if you just let it.” Sohta replied cryptically and winked. He wouldn’t explain it to her since he didn’t fully understand it himself. It was something his mother had told him when he had been but a child. That was before he had become a disappointment to his family. His gaze from her turned as he looked around the open campus. “It’s funny how everyone tries to hide from nature when it’s something so beautiful.” He said after a minute or so of them walking in silence. He had shoved his hands into his pockets, even though his hands hadn’t been cold. The cold wind stung his skin, but it wasn’t cold. He enjoyed the stinging sensation. It was different from the never ending, dull place that he had once called home; the realm of the demons.

He gave the couch a grouchy look then nodded, walking with Momoko towards the hall. " I don't mind. I don't like playing a game with such idiots." He said his voice sounding slightly irritated at the jocks and how the couch would on'y call it on her. "however- You know- I was open to make the shot." He said with a half smirk towards her ans they neared the office. He held the door open for her since she had blood on her hands.

Sohta gave her a funny little twitch upwards of his brows with a grin, perfectly white teeth catching the light. Though his hands were in his pockets, he didnt seem fazed by the cold mid morning air. Yumino was rather surprised by his previous comment, the cryptic little message making her pause to evaluate it. She was taking it as a metaphor for something but to her it sounded oddly magical. It was strange but, she didn't expect it to come out of his mouth. It was almost like something she would expect August to say or maybe even her grandmother. She shook the thought from her mind when he mentioned people avoiding nature. That made her very faintly have an up turn of her lips. "It may be pretty but it's also unpredictable." She commented, since she was always taught as a magic user to respect nature. It was the force of life, the force of creation and the force of power. It was what no one could control and you could only practice to call upon it for aid. "So mysterious and untamable. Perfect." She said though her mind wandered to her circle briefly. She wondered again how her new circles might be since her magic was better.

Momoko smirked, though Adrian couldn’t see it around her hand. He was an interesting character; she had to give him that. Plus, he was incredibly good looking; she felt like a giggle school girl. Her cheeks turned a bit pink when he mentioned being open for the shot that had caused her nose to smash into the ground. “I know.” She said and gently shrugged her shoulders. “Maybe I felt like trying to be cool.” She added, glancing over to his face, a few strands of his red hair had come out from the tie he had it in. She glanced forward again and saw that they were coming up on the nurse’s office. She slowed her pace some though, afraid that the nurse would make Adrian go back to class right after she stepped in the door. ~~~ Though his eyes were looking ahead of him, Sohta could see Yumino from the corner of his eyes nearly perfectly. He caught the very slight smile that tried to form on her lips and it made him bubble inside, the part of him that wanted to see her smile feeling happy. Her words echoed in his ears and he smiled at the mention of nature being untamable. He almost agreed with her in a way, though Sohta knew that from her position that was one of the few views she could have on the subject. “But, isn’t that what makes it great.” He said, turning his head so that he could look at her. “It is the epitome of what everyone craves; beauty that holds great power; something that one can only dream of understanding. Just to claim a fraction of its power could make someone powerful enough to become a king.” He turned from her, realizing that he was delving into some of his deeper thoughts, his demonic thoughts. “But, of course, with that sort of power comes corruption.” He said a bit softer, his eyes almost seeming to flash the violet color that belonged to August. He had trouble trying not to show his true self to her it seemed, though he knew he could not allow that to happen, at least not now.

Aiden frowned," Being cool wound you up with a smashed face...Unless you planed on getting a bloody nose- I think you need to rethink..." He noticed her slowed pace and he slowed to a stop himself. He pushed some of the loose strands back behind his ears. He looked at her with a serious expression," Are you sure your alright?" He didn't want to get blood on him but he was curious to see how bad it was. He had a feeling the nurse was going to send him back to class so he was slightly avoiding that.

It seemed Sohta had a healthy adoration for nature. It was interesting to say the least, seeing as many humans tended to view it as just something that was there, not as a source of power or anything. It made her curious to hear him speak of it this way. It was almost like he was a magic user... It could just be Sohta was more intune with the world and perhaps that was the case. But Yumino couldn't help her suspicion, she tended to give things of a magical nature interest. His mood suddenly seemed to shift as he looked away, and Yumino's barely there smile settled back into a neutral look. She found that looking at him when he had looked away was a little odd so she turned her gave to the flowers by the door way they were headed to, though she was curious to see his reaction to what she said next. "Power can change ones life but I believe it is the desires that corrupt more than the ability." She said before tightening the grip on her bag a bit. "There are some powerful good hearted people in this world."

Momoko’s blush deepened some at Adrian’s comment. She hadn’t intended on having that happen, but of course one could never fully predict what was going to happen. Her pale eyes turned to him when he stopped, his serious expression sending a flutter of emotions through her. This was almost too good to be true. She stopped with him and smiled some, though he couldn’t see it. The taste of blood was in her mouth, metallic in nature. “I’m fine. It’s not broken or anything. It’ll be healed later tonight.” She said with lightly shrugged shoulders. Her eyes seemed to be hiding something as she turned from him and began walking towards the nurses office again, spinning around so that she could see him. She had been giving an illusion to the fact that she could use magic to heal her nose, but she wasn’t sure if he would be able to get it. ~~~ A thin lipped smile formed on Sohta’s lips. Yumino’s words were intriguing, though he stopped himself from looking at her again. He licked his lips, the chill of the wind drying them out some. “While it is true that there are good hearted people in the world that hold power, I find that power seems to make one’s desires become twisted.” He paused and slowed, opening the door to the building their class was in for Yumino; his eyes landing on her as he waited for her to enter. “I think that when everything becomes easy for you, you don’t want anything to be too difficult anymore.” He followed her as she entered the building. Of course, Sohta wasn’t voicing his entire opinion. He had seen it happen before too. A naïve, nice individual who has good in their heart will call upon a demon for power to help them in some task that will supposedly support their good will. Eventually, they gain this power and what happens? They end up wanting more and more. Sohta had witnessed this, even had a hand in shaping the individual, though he generally never made them evil; they did that on their own as was human nature it seemed.

Adrian smirked at her comment, she was a magic user...He nodded as she walked away- he put his hands back into his pockets and watched her walk to the door- but she turned to look at him- that confused him a bit," I'll see you at the meeting spot after school." He said turning and leaving- his voice had been neutral since he had not expressed emotions on what she could do or not. Entering the gym he caught the last play in the game and he got a point for his team. He went to dress out and he left to his next area- back to the class room.

Yumino knew they weren't talking about her, but in a way she felt the conversation seep into her case. She had sold her soul to a demon after all to get to where she was now. And still she had yet to reach the full extent of what she had planned. But would all this new found power corrupt her? Not that she had really gotten to see the extent of the magic yet, but she wouldn't ever use it for the wrong reasons. She just wanted to appease her grandmother to help her mother...that was what she did this for and she wouldn't be corrupted by it. "That is true..." She said, walking past the him in the door to the math department. She contemplated a moment on more to say and found herself...actually wondering about an outsiders opinion... "Do you think it possible to be corrupted by your own power? Something you don't gain per se but one that exists inside of you." She asked, wondering what he thought on that tid bit. His previous answers had been so insightful that perhaps he might have something interesting to say. Besides this would be a good way to gauge his views on magic perhaps.
