Momoko saw that Adrian had a lunch, though it was quite different than what she was used to. She had plenty of time this morning to make a proper lunch, though she had found that Sohta had already made one for her. It even had her favorite: little hot dogs cut to look like octopi. It was super cute to her, though she had no idea why. A bed of rice, some egg omelet, and a few small pieces of fruit were inside of her little box. She popped a piece of fruit into her mouth and looked around the room. The room was empty save for one soul sitting in the opposite end of the room with headphones in. Momoko smirked and finished her bite before pulling out a note book and scribbling down a few, pretty well perfect, runes. She folded it all nice and neat and then tossed it over Adrian’s head so that it would land in front of him. She wanted to see his reaction to her little teasing. Momoko also wanted to know the branch of magic he preferred. A lot of times you could judge a person’s character by the type of magic they preferred. ~~~ Her words might have stung if Sohta didn’t already know them to be true. But to fake yourself and have everything you accomplish as fake mean nothing—well, that just didn’t sit well with him. What many humans and witches tended to neglect to thing about was that demons had souls to. They had emotions and families and could even bleed. They had become the way they were because of centuries, even millennia that they had been subjected to being treated as though they were nothing better than livestock that could talk; being harvested for information like a crop. “Sometimes a person has no alternative but to hide who they truly are.” Sohta said his tone a bit softer than before. He had looked away from her after she had turned from his eyes. The demon prince wasn’t entirely sure why he had said that, but it was true. If he was to show his true colors to this world and tell everyone what and who he was; then he was as good as dead. He would be treated worse than nothing and his sister—he didn’t even want to think of what they would try to do to her. He was almost frowning though, thinking about such dangerous things. He realized this and smirked, as though everything was just a joke to him, eyes returning to Yumino’s pretty little face. She truly was an interesting witch. He felt as though they could spend hours just talking together, but that might have been a bit biased. She would never speak to him like this if she knew who he really was. Maybe that was why he had wanted to interact with her so badly.

He was reading a bit of a tricky passage to understand he had copied down in his notes the Latin also to remember and then suddenly there was a little note with little pretty scibed runes. He looked them over and smirked, it was Momoko teasing him. He however didn't respond verbally. He picked up his red pen and drew a rune he had been working on lately in his summons practice and drew it on there- if she thought it was scary she would leave him alone- if not then oh well- guess he either had a new friend or at least a cute girl who liked demons too. He tossed it behind his head- right at her desk- she only sat two desks back so it wasn't anything major. He was pretty sure it landed on her desk- missing her lunch. He wanted to know what she thought about that one.

The softer tone to his words made her curious as she looked him over. The comment was rather odd for him, this seemingly social man. Would he even realize she understood that feeling all to well? After all, did he really think she liked being portrayed as some piece of heartless ice? Something leaked into her composed mask, the slightest softening that was very faint and almost not noticeable at all. "And it's sad too. Having their voice lost behind what others want them to think and say hm?" She said before battering her eyes and the soft look faded. "I...didn't mean to be depressing." It was an odd comment from her, since she got a bit of her own feelings mixed into the conversation and probably brought his mood down. Though he smirked...could he possibly be talking about himself with this topic? It wasn't her place to ask so she didn't since she felt she should move on. "So I will ask something more sociable, like your major?" She asked, since she didn't want to make him regret speaking to her for one reason or another.

Momoko smirked as she picked up a pair of chopsticks and began eating a bit of egg. The taste was sweet since Sohta had made it with sugar, but the texture was a bit different than she had expected. She chewed slowly, waiting for Adrian’s response. It had taken a bit longer than she had expected but suddenly her note came flying down and landed on her head. She squeaked a bit in surprise but grabbed it and opened it. Her eyes widened at the red runes he had inscribed on her paper. They left a feeling of elation, dread, and disgust in the pit of her stomach. He was trying to be a summoner, or maybe he already was. Those were runes she recognized quite well, they were used for higher level summons such as a demon. An idea came to her mind and though she realized it wasn’t entirely smart, it was one she liked. She scribbled her true name—Sukisosakutiri—on the paper, enforcing it with a spell that would cause it to disappear ten minutes after he read it. She didn’t want it getting around, but she also didn’t want Adrian dying by the hands of one of her brethren. She would didn’t think she would ever willingly harm the boy either. She had a crush on him for Bartholomew’s sake. She tossed the note back over to him, the name in bold letters; their essence just seeming to make the paper seem dirty and wrong. She had a coy expression on her face now, despite the fact that she was eating hotdogs shaped like octopi. ~~~ Sohta’s heart seemed to skip a beat when Yumino spoke. He expression seemed to freeze momentarily, but he regained composure with a slight curl of his lips; a little smirk. She spoke of being depressing, but he hadn’t found the conversation to be like that at all. It was exciting and he felt as though he could be with this little with forever. Demons could live forever unless they were killed and they could give the same thing to those under their care if they so choose to. Yumino could possibly understand him; she might be able to see past what he was and see who he was. The thought was so tempting that he nearly reached out to brush a strand of pink hair from her face. He resisted, knowing his thoughts were only a pleasant dream that he could think about when going to bed at night. It was nothing more than that; a fantasy. She changed the topic rather quickly and Sohta stuck his toothpick back between his teeth, chewing on the end inside of his mouth as was habit. “History with a minor in music.” He said and gave a half-laugh. “I know right, not much future in that.” He admitted, but the topic change was a good one for him. He was curious about this woman that had taken his attention. “What about you?” He questioned.

When the note came back to him he stopped reading his notes and saw by his own summoning rune- was a name. He quickly scribbled it on his notes and shuffled it in with his others. He just got a summoning mane from some one who knew a demon name. That was something huge. He looked over his shoulder to see her coy smile and he couldn't help the almost sick smile that slipped onto his lips. He was getting closer to achieving his obsession- one thing he was hungering for. Turning around a bit more he looked her over wondering exactly how she had gotten a summoning name- it sounded legit so he was taking it at face value. " So. Momoko... when was it I could come over?" His words were very straight forward but he didn't want to talk demons in school- it wasn't right to him in a way.

Yumino noticed his smirk returning and it gave her a bit of relief to see she hadn't pushed him away with her depressing topics. This new one after all could tell her a bit more about him too, so possibly she could understand where he was coming from with all this. She was surrpised to hear History and Music come out of his mouth. It was uncommon for most males to go into anything but business or medicine around here. His comment about the future however made her blink, mostly because she realized then that--well--she didn't have much of a future now. Only a tomorrow and maybe a week after that--till August felt like using her. She hid away the awkward unease in her and settled for answering him to keep up this conversation. "Psychology with a minor in preforming arts." She said before offering him a slight raise of her brows, the first sign of an expressional pull. "What kind of music?" She asked, curious to see if he played some sort of instrument or if he was in to producing.

Momoko watched as Adrian turned slightly to look at her. She could see the corners of his mouth turning into smile and she bit the bottom of her lip, looking as sexy as a sixteen-year-old girl could. “Whenever you want, really. Tonight, tomorrow, whenever.” She responded and sat upright, her usual cheerful expression her face. She picked up a hotdog piece and popped it into her mouth with a smile. She figured he wanted to speak with her about what she had just written on his paper. Most every magic user this side of the ley lines thought it was taboo to speak of demons, especially in such a public place. Momoko held no such taboo in mind since she was the very evil thing that was spoken of. “When would you like to come over?” She questioned after she had swallowed her bite of food, curious. This could be very interesting. She, of course, wasn’t going to let him summon her while he was at her home, but she wouldn’t mind trying to coax him into summoning her after they had talked for a bit. ~~~ Psychology just seemed to fit Yumino for some reason; Sohta wasn’t surprised to hear that from her at all; however, preforming arts. That was an intriguing thing he might have find more about. He watched her face give off an expression, and it made him smile, though he hoped she would think it was because of her question. Sohta didn’t want her to think he was some strange man after all. Strange demon, maybe—but not a man. “All kinds really. I started with classical, but there’s something about alternative that caught my attention. My forte is with the guitar, but I can play the piano and in my spare time I try out composing. I don’t quite know how good I am at that though.” He explained in a bit of a half-way speech. He wanted her to know him for some reason, though it wasn’t all him, only a small part that he was allowed to show in the company of human’s and witches when he wasn’t inside of a circle being manipulated and controlled. “Once again, I will have to repeated your question—What kind of preforming arts?” He paused for a moment, one eyebrow quirking as he spoke next, eyes trailing down the part of her body he could see as he remembered the outfit she had on. “Dancing, perhaps?” He guessed, something telling him that she might enjoy such a thing, as surprising as that may have been to an outsider. He just knew her better than most.

He thought about it however he smiled back at her, hoping to get this done faster. "Tonight...If possible, If that alright with your brother." He said in a quiet tone but ti was cheery. He was practically dying to ask her about the paper but knew he shouldn't- not here at least. He was aware of the taboos and such and he didn't want it getting out that he was a witch that wanted to summon demons- either it could mean bad things to him.

And curious his answer was still. She hadn't pegged him for a classical type but then again when he said alternative she realized that seemed to be a fit for him. He would look right at hime with a guitar in his lap. The image in her head was one that rather surprised her, especially since it seemed rather attractive... Then again most musical men tended to really catch a girls eye right? It was a fleeting thought, since she hardly would or could entertain things like that. She had bigger more important things going on. Which reminded her of the handwritten pocket spell guide she had made that she kept in her bag. She had practiced all that morning trying to tap into her power correctly, but it seemed she couldn't get the hang of the force in which it now appeared with. Just lighting a candle set off her smoke alarm and a ward she tried using to reinforce her summoning circles turned it into an electrical minefield that could seriously harm even August. Even having all this power, she by no means perfect yet. She needed to be perfect before she went to her grandmother. She wanted to impress the lady not burn her home down. When he turned her question to her she lightly nodded at his guess at her dancing. She didn't think it was too obvious but hey, he could have easily guessed that by her outfit... "Dancing yes, ballet is my forte. Its very...soothing." She said though that shouldn't be the case. She came away from practice with her feet sore, bruises and at times so exhausted she could hardly stand, but at the same time, she loved watching how movements could create something so beautiful. "Like with music I guess, it helps paint a picture for people." She said the thought aloud before she gave somewhat of a small nod and continued. "And about your music, even with dancing, its hard to tell how good we are in our own eyes." She said since she had a bit of a perfectionist streak in her when it came to ballet. She liked being in control of the dance and feeling as though she wanted to be flawless though she knew that was unattainable.

“Tonight will be perfect.” Momoko said with a cheerful smile. “Meet me in by the big tree in front of school and we can walk from there.” Momoko wanted to set a spot to meet up at. She was on cleaning duty this afternoon so it would be a bit before she could leave. She felt a little giddy inside at the thought of walking home together with Adrian. It was like a fantasy come true. She didn’t care if he was only doing it because he wanted to speak with her brother or because he was interested in what she knew about magic. It was still something she hadn’t believed would happen. Lunch ended without any further conversation, Momoko eating up everything in her little lunch box. Class went on and on, though they eventually got to gym. They all left the class room and headed to the locker rooms, males and females separated of course. She somewhat enjoyed this part of school, not because she was attracted to women though. Girls nearly stripped down to nothing but their underwear to get into their gym clothing and no one went into the stalls to change. Momoko could see if any of them had demon marks and one or two did. Some disappeared after a while, while one girl seemed to get two and then they would vanish, reappearing after a few months. It was quite interesting really. ~~~ Ballet, Sohta should have guessed. A small smile flickered on his lips, but he kept his face rather neutral. He didn’t want too much of his interest seeping through. Yumino might find that strange and not want to talk with him again. He really wanted to ask her how her new boost in magical ability was going. He wanted to ask her many things and do many things with the female sitting across from him; her pink hair looked incredibly silky. He had to; once again, mentally shake those thoughts from his head. He looked at her as she spoke of painting a picture with dancing, how it was similar with music. They were alike in many ways it seemed, but so different at the same time. What would she think of him if she knew what he was; how he felt? “It doesn’t always matter how good we think we though, now does it?” He commented, though he realized afterwards that it could mean something deeper for Yumino with her family. If he replaced good with bad, it could mean something to Sohta as well, though he had forced that part of him to retreat deep within his heart and mind. He couldn’t let those emotions out unless he was in a circle, for fear that he might actually do some harm.

He nodded then returned to his lunch- ignoring people as was usual. Class dragged on as usual then it was time for P.E. He hated this. He was good at sports he just didn't care for them. Changing into his clothes, he cast his eyes about quickly not seeing any demon marks- he knew every boy in the room was human- and none that dealt with magic. He didn't care but it would have been nice to have some one to talk to about magic for a change. His tattoo on his back was a fascination to some of the boys- however he kept his hair long for more than one reason- it also covered his tattoo a bit more. He had to tie his hair up however because of school regulations so he put his hair up in a long tie in the back. It was annoying however it was the rules. When he reemerged into the gym to see most of the girl class out there- and only a few boys- they were all still talking sports with each other. He looked about and his eyes landed on Momoko- and he smiled lightly- it was more of a turn in the corner of his lips but hew was sure she saw it as he took his seat on the line as required to do opening stretches.

Yumino was interested as to why this man was able to smile so easily around her. Shouldn't he be like that the others that shrunk away from her, that avoided her for reasons all their own and ones that they created? But instead Sohta seemed perfectly alright with spending his time with and ice queen.... She blinked at his comment hit her the wrong way, though only a light frown plagued her lips from her composed look. "Yeah, it's what others see that seems to create a sense of pride huh?" She said, just imaging her grandmothers harsh stare of discent and her mothers soft look of pity in her daughter. It hurt her so much she actually turned to a demon to prove to them she wasn't helpless.... How desperate was she for approval tha she had to use August...? She unconsciously touched her wrist, the first of her marks from when she was still inexperienced and didn't know what he meant by a mark. The second was on her right shoulder and the last now on her neck. Her family would be disgusted to know she used black magic. They had always used their magic for good things not summoning demons...She wondered a moment if Sohta possibly didn't know about the Tsukiyo family and that was why he was being nice to her. But would that last if he ever saw the marks, putting her as nothing more than a witch that sold herself for power. "Sohta...you like history?" She asked though it was obvious that wasn't what she wanted to ask him by the small break in her voice. She wasn't even sure what question she could possibly ask him and quickly pushed it off as if it were nothing.

Momoko was already outside and on the line for stretching when she saw Adrian come outside. He was attractive with his red hair tied up, though she wondered what it would look like down. The thought made her smile and it grew when she caught the slight upturn of his lips when he found her with his eyes. She felt like the school girl she was and blushed, one of her friends pulling her to the side. “Oh my God! I thought you were joking. You guys seriously talked?” The blonde haired girl said, her hair in a braid and glasses on her nose. “Yes! When have I ever lied to you?” Momoke retorted and her friend just hugged her. “You lucky girl. He is soo hot. You have to tell me everything.” Her friend went on and Momoko just rolled her eyes. Like anything would happen anyways. Gym started up with stretching. Momoko felt a bit show off-y today and stretched as far as she could go. She had a feeling Adrian might be keeping an eye on her now that she was in his radar. She wouldn’t go all out in gym today, but she could show him that she wasn’t just a pretty face. She could be dangerous too. ~~~ Sohta found that he was right when Yumino frowned slightly at his comment. He knew after he had spoken that it hadn’t been such a good thing to say, never the less, he had already said it. He could only imagine what was going through her mind right now, though he had a decent idea; more than she would ever thing him to know. He knew more about her than anyone else in this school. He had seen the odd looks people had given them when they had passed by their table. He knew her nickname and reputation. None of that fazed him though. Sohta was a demon that owned this little witch, even if people thought she was the Ice Queen. He knew that she was not, that it was just an exterior. It really wasn’t a deterrent to him, but in reality something that caused him to want her more. He wanted to break open that hard exterior and see the softness that lay underneath. These thoughts of his almost made him angry because he knew that he sounded almost like his father; but he couldn’t help what he felt. Sohta’s eyes briefly narrowed when he saw Yumino’s hands move some. It looked as though she was touching the demon mark on her wrist; the very first one he had given her. It shot a possessive desire through his core and he had to hold back the sick smile he wanted to reveal. She was thinking about him. He remembered that first mark, how innocent she had been; so malleable and new. She had learned quickly though and it she had gotten harder every time but this last one—it had almost seemed like she had given up in a way and Sohta didn’t like that. Despite the limitations she had been born with, Yumino was a powerful witch. She just needed to learn to have faith in herself and her abilities. His attention snapped forward when she spoke and he realized that he had been deep in thought. He smiled at her question and nodded his head. “Yes. I think it’s intriguing to try and find out what our ancestors were thinking and trying to find out their true motivations. It’s like a giant puzzle that you have to put together one century at a time.” He explained, though laughed on the inside. History was easy for him, as it should be since he had been around for a few hundred years himself. He might look twenty and act twenty, but that was just how he developed. He was still a child in many demons eyes, four-hundred years wasn’t that long to them. He was also one of the few demon children around. His sister was the last one born to his knowledge. Birthing rates for demons were always low though.

Stretching he could easily put his hands flat on the floor with his long arms. He glanced behind him to see Momoko and another girl- a dorky looking human talking. He never cared for the dorks but that was his opinion. He focused on himself getting stretch properly because he was double jointed he wanted to make sure he was ready for anything. Today game was basketball- easy- he was one of the most desired players because he was tall, and not half bad at the game. He requested to sit out but the couch told him no. He was frowning at the jocks because he knew hew as going to be the first one picked- like usual. However the couch picked him as a team captain, which didn't change his frown. They got to play on mixed teams, that made him nod and picked randomly till he remembered he had Momoko in his class, it was his second pick the jock picking his friends of course. "Momoko. and the blonde one." He said taking two after the jock had picked two. He figured if he was going to get stuck with people they might as well get along. After the teams were sperated he nodded to Momoko that he was captain and he didn't want the ball, so after the nod he passed the ball to her.

His rather sudden attention change made her lean back a bit, her hand unconsciously gripping her wrist. When she realized she had been touching the mark absentmindedly, she pulled her hand away and put it back in its seperate place in her lap. She didn't want to risk him seeing the mark anyways. Why would she want to be grasping the mark anyways? It wasn't like she could feel August through it... Or erase it.. She blinked a few times as he spoke listening carefully to his words to dispel thoughts of August. He had a very interesting view of history. One that she couldn't say she shared. She found it interesting to hear about ancient cultures but she held no love for ancestors of the Tsukiyo. All of the important ones were women with magical gifts that strove for power and recognition. Her five greats past grandmother was the one who had made the Tsukiyo deviate from priestess work and become witches in the more natural and less religious sense. They still kept the Tsukiyo shrine, but turned it into a massive home that the family shared. The old sanctuary was turned into a shrine for the dead greats of the Tsukiyo family, names her grandmother made her memorize. That was her lineage...not something she cared to dig deeper into than she had to. "I suppose it is interesting but also important. We do learn from the past for the future." Her phone trilled and she saw it was her phone alerting her that she had twenty minutes before class. Had they really been talking that long? She observed Sohta, looking for signs of relief that the conversation could end, but when she found none, she looked back to her phone. "Twenty minutes, I sort of had to add time due to practice...the gym is so far away from the main building." She muttered, wondering only after why she felt the need to explain the alarm to him.
