Momoko was a bit taken aback by what came out of Adrian’s mouth, but she supposed that it was good that he actually dignified her with a response. How to answer him was the biggest question she had on her mind and her brain worked quickly to figure out what exactly to say. “My brother woke me up early so I thought coming early would be a nice change of things.” She explained, giving him a relative truth. She leaned forward slightly in her seat to try and peak over his shoulder to see what he was reading. She had a feeling that he would probably be mad at her for being so nosey, but she couldn’t resist seeing what he read every day. That’s all he ever seemed to be doing was reading. “I’d like to ask you why you are early too.” She then said, plopping all the way back down in her seat and pulling out a note book. She opened it and flipped to a blank page. Her hand moved effortlessly as she began to doodle miniature versions of symbols that were needed for demon magic. Of course many of the basic symbols were used by witches and magic using humans and so they would be recognizable to them; but to an ordinary human with no magical capabilities or training; they looked like little symbols. “But you would probably just give me some short clipped answer and go back to reading like you always do.” She then said, flicking her pen against the paper in an eccentric swoop. Momoko had said that on purpose, hoping she could get the boy to react at something; hoping he might turn around and notice her drawings. She still hadn’t gotten a good peg on him. Was he witch or human? Magic user or regular? Her nose wasn’t able to decipher much and it was something she was curious about Normally she wasn’t this forward with Aiden, or really anyone. They were alone right now though, and she was pulling on some of her inner demon personality. In reality she was a mixture of the cute and quirky girl that everyone at school saw and the mischievous and sly demon that summoners feared. ~~~ Sohta’s eyes were staring at the ceiling. He was balancing his weight on the two back legs of the chair he was sitting in. He had finished his coffee a while ago and it sat empty on the table. His mind was on Yumino, his new catch and what to do with her. If he was a normal demon, he would have taken her right away and used her as a familiar or sold her off to another demon. He could have used her as a slave, a sex toy, a maid. He could have her in any way shape or form—but that just wasn’t how Sohta felt about things. He was different. He was a demon exiled to the human realm, forced to be an outcast and alone, save for his kid sister. He couldn’t do what he would normally do with a summoner he caught. It didn’t quite feel right, though he could think of a few things that could work…For now, Sohta was just going to keep her on the top of his list of people to go to if he needed something—maybe. Something perked his attention suddenly and the front of his chair slammed against the ground. His head snapped in the direction of one of the entrances and he found a familiar pink haired girl in his vicinity. The marks on her body were like a homing beacon to him. She wouldn’t know he was here, but he could feel her presence clearly. He didn’t hide the sly smile from his lips as he watched her. She was wearing very tight pants and a jacket, he wondered what for. She bought water and turned around, walking with it open before colliding with a male that wasn’t watching where he was going either. It was an interesting chain of events that had Sohta chuckling. Her glare scared the man off, but she still had a mess to clean up. He stood, taking his empty coffee can and tossing it into the recycle. He walked towards her, grabbing some napkins that were close by. He wanted to interact with his new toy a little, though he would have to be careful not to touch her. She would know it was him if they had skin to skin contact. She probably wouldn’t believe it though because, well, who had ever heard of a day walking demon. He bent over and tossed the napkins he had gotten over the mess and looked to Yumino. “Yumino Tsukiyo, right?” He said with a cheerful smile, his tooth pick dangling from his lips. “I’m Sohta, I think we have a few classes together.” He said in a nice greeting, his blue eyes being covered slightly by his black hair.

At her sarcasm he figured she didn't' think hew as listening. Turning around he looked at her with a blank expression," Thats rather rude to say- however I apologies if my reading bothers you." His eyes looked her over from her pretty hair to her little face. She was pretty- he had to admit but she was a human- as far as he knew anyhow- one didn't just go about talking about magic- it was frowned upon in his opinion. "I'm here early because Its quiet and I don't have to deal with so many people who are usually close to late." He said his sentence a bit less clipped and tried to give detail- he was trying to work on his human interaction however he was bad at it. Most just thought he was a foreigner and left him be.

Yumino looked up from the spilled water that she had been trying to mop up with a few napkins however it didn't seem to be much if even enough. She flinched slightly when she heard a voice above her, one she felt a familiar spark from. She looked up curiously since it was nagging at her that she had heard this voice before. She looked up and found it was infact, not a familiar face. Her eyes stared into his, the eye contact just something she always did. She liked to look people in the eyes seeing as it let them know you were listening and actively conversing with them. This Sohta had pretty eyes. Ones that were a nice deep blue, under his bangs. She blinked once and gave him a rather neutral look despite his friendly nice greeting. "Thank you, Sohta." She said before trying to clean the mess up. Yes, she remembered his face from somewhere, he was a class clown if she remembered correctly, sending one proffessor off in a psychiatric melt down from the plastic spider joke. Though it was funny, she did find it a bit mean. That was probably why she recognized his voice.... "Classes...ah yes I remember. We have math next right?" She said standing to be eye level with him. She felt eyes on them, people looking to see what the Ice Queen would do to this man that actually approached her. Yumino wasn't even quite sure why they called her that. She assumed it was because of her eyes but some whispers were spread that she was actually as cold as ice on the inside, though that was hardly true. She just didn't communicate her emotions very clearly, chosing to save them for people she cared to show them to.

Momoko was glad when Adrian turned around, her rude comment seeming to have gotten his attention. She got a good look of his handsome face; red hair silhouetting him in a good way. She blushed lightly when he called her rude and nibbled on her bottom lip to express her unease in a more obvious way. She let him finish his explanation of why he was here early, finding that the reason suited him quite well, though she wouldn’t say that to his face. “I’m sorry; sometimes things just slip out of my mouth. I wasn’t trying to be rude; sometimes I am such a dolt.” She said and knocked herself on her head with a bit of a laugh. “I read a lot too and I can understand not wanting to be bothered by people.” She looked at him and smiled softly, her pen going in circles on the paper and making light crinkling noises. “Of course, your explanation probably means that I am one of those people that bother you. I’ll stop talking to you then, I apologize.” She said, though it was a bit of a lie that she was sorry for bothering him. She was maybe a bit sorry for causing him any trouble, but if she had managed to get this much of a conversation out of Adrian, than in her opinion, it was worth it. ~~~ She always did have such pretty eyes, Sohta though when the woman looked up to him; their eyes meeting. He knew her little nick-name around here, but that just added to the appeal of it all. The ice-queen, the girl who everyone said was as cold as ice. Of course, Sohta knew this all to be wrong, but Yumino didn’t know that he was August, the demon that owned her. She might have known his true name, but that didn’t mean she would be able to recognize him out in the real world. He doubted that it even crossed her mind that he could possibly be the demon she summoned. “Yea, but there is still about an hour before class starts.” He responded before bending down and wiping up the rest of the water with the napkins he had brought over. He picked up the sopping wet pieces of papery cloth and took them over to a trash can. He came back and dusted his hands off on the side of his pants. “Do you want to sit together or something before class starts?” He questioned, nodding over to the semi-secluded area he had been at before. There was a large pillar right by it and some potted plants that made it seem as though people wouldn’t be able to see you as easily. Sohta liked it because he could watch people from the spot easier and not look strange. It was fun, people watching. Sohta knew it was a bit risky asking to spend time with her, but he liked to take risks. Life just wasn't as much fun if you didn't.

Adrian smirked at her about being th annoying person, however he looked down at her paper to see what she was drawling- his eyes froze as he looked at them," interesting little runes you have there... Where did you learn them?" He asked her quietly as another student came into the room. He of course paid them no mind- hell it was unusual to even speak to any one else. He was curious now about this human- maybe she was a wit h- in that case she was fair game.

Yumino was rather intrigued by the Sohta character. Not only was he speaking to her but he actually wanted to have a seat and talk more with her? She wondered if maybe he was put up to this, but then again the shock on almost everyone's faces let her know that he most likely wasn't obligated under some bet. He infact was able to look her in the eyes without his eyes darting away or him staring at the floor. "I suppose that would be alright." She said softly since he did help her with the majority of cleaning up. And besides she had forgot her spare clothes in her car today. It wasn't like the leggings were all that bad considering the grey jacket she wore came down long enough to be a short dress. She didn't have time really to run back to the dance hall anways and neither did she feel like she could. She was running a bit on the tired side after last night.... August's face came to mind, the possessive sound of his voice causing her stomach to turn a flip when she could hear him saying "you're mine, little witch". She wasn't sure what he had in store for her, but whatever it was...she just hoped it didn't involve anything too degrading. For a witch with no honor, she wasn't lacking in pride. Though she wasn't an ego maniac she did enjoy her independence to a degree. August would be taking that from her perhaps...but in a way she felt that if he asked something of her, even if she wasn't now bound to him, she would do what he asked her. He had a certain charm to him, an ability to make her feel something from his vivid range of emotions that played across his face. It was mostly the reason why after summoning him a year or two ago she chose to keep him around. It was strange how a demon could captivate her attention people would say, escpecially if he was claiming to want to own you for all eternity. Yumino shrugged at the thought, the movement easily mistaken for her adjusting her bag back onto her shoulder. She went with Sohta back to the table, taking a set across from him. She looked him over a moment before speaking. "You seem very social...why sit in a corner this secluded?" She asked, her question blunt and to the point, as she was with most of her conversations even with her family.

Momoko had looked down after apologizing to him, but she glanced up at him through her bangs when he hadn’t turned around yet. His eyes seemed to be glued to the page she had been drawing on, a vast collection of runes and symbols associated with magic, some of which she doubted he would know even if he was a full blooded witch. When the words came from his mouth asking about them, she smiled gently. He had called them runes; that leaned him in favor of being magically gifted. “My brother taught them to me.” She said in a half-way truth. In reality she had learned the basics from her mother, until she was banished with her brother to the human realm. Her brother had taken over teaching her everything and she absorbed it like a sponge. She lived and breathed magic, as was how a demon was supposed to. “Our parents don’t particularly like us and so he is my teacher.” She explained in another half-truth that he might get if he had a talent for magic. Many human parents, upon finding out their child can do magic, would disown them in some way. Still, some witches didn’t want their children to learn magic so that they could better blend in with society and if they went against their wishes; once more the children would be disowned. ~~~ Sohta smiled cheerfully when Yumino agreed to sit with him until class started. In all honesty, he was a bit surprised. That didn’t negate the excitement that he felt inside of his chest, the almost nervous feeling he had in his stomach. He was walking a fine line here. If they even so much as brushed finger tips, Yumino would be able to sense that Sohta was in fact August. Of course, he doubted she would believe herself, but that was beyond the point. He led her over to the table he had refereed to and sat down, Yumino sitting across from him. He turned his gaze away from her pretty little face and looked between the foliage out at the small line that was forming in front of one of the cashiers. It was about time that the breakfast rush began. He looked almost serious as he watched the people milling about, grabbing food and going to pay for it. His expression changed to an almost amused cheerfulness when Yumino spoke to him, asking him why he would sit in a secluded corner. He smiled and leaned forward, eyes bright. “I like to people watch. It’s good fun really. It also makes it seem less likely that I am the cause for any trouble that may ensue.” He shrugged his shoulders some and chuckled. Sohta had to resist the urge to run his hands through her hair or to even just touch her. Her skin had felt soft last night, for the moment he had not been doing a spell. He had wanted more, but he wouldn't dare. It was wrong, the thoughts he had in his mind; what he could make her do with a single word. He had so much power over her now and yet, he was hesitating on using it. Maybe his father was right in some ways; he wasn't fit to be a demon.

" Your brother go to this school?" He asked keeping the emotion out of his voice- not wanting tog I've his excitement about finding another witch- if even a half with even to talk to- maybe swap ideas on demons...His mind stopped there- most witches chose to stay out of that area. His eyes went form the paper to her cute face. If shew as what he thought she was- he could sacrifice some social skills to figure her out. He had seen some of those in his demon book- in fact a few of them were scribbled on his own notes. He knew a few by their associating meaning however one was defiantly demonic. He was tempted to draw one as well to see if she knew it because it had been bugging him but he as looking to ask her brother now on it.

Yumino was a little surprised at his liking to people watch. She had a tendency to do something similar when she was younger. Then she learned that people tended to be all the same and that her gaze got her too much attention. That's when she began just simply ignoring them, seemingly not letting it faze her. But Sohta's next statement had her raising a brow at him. "Hm, that makes it sound like fingers should be pointed in your direction." She said, speaking her thoughts aloud to him. She knew he caused the bit with the history professor but did he actually make a hobby of causing trouble? Perhaps that was reason enough to avoid him, but so far he was the first conversation she had had besides with her family and the professors here. She would entertain this strange man for a little while, just to find out what drew him in her direction. "People watching is interesting in some regards. You discover things about them..." She looked at Sohta and wondered if she could peg his personality down by just sight.

Instantly Adrian asked a question about her brother and she smiled lightly. “No, he goes to University.” She responded. Her hand almost subconsciously moved in patterns. When she looked down, she found that she had drawn a few more runes, though they weren’t ones meant for anyone other than a demon’s. She casually crossed them out, as though she had made a mistake in their design. She glanced back up at him and sighed gently. “If you want, maybe you could come over sometime. I’m sure my brother wouldn’t mind talking to you.” She offered, feeling a bit giddy. She couldn’t believe she was inviting him over, though she knew that it was unlikely he would say yes. She had a good feeling that Adrian was a witch. He didn’t quite smell human. She also knew that he couldn’t stay past sunset. No one was allowed over past sunset and going out with anyone was something that was only a special treat. Momoko had gone out with friends one night and had to rush to the bathroom before she was sucked away into a summoning circle. That had been an interesting conversation to have, though she claimed she had gone home after getting sick. Her friends still didn’t quite believe her. ~~~ “Generally, if I am in the vicinity, yes.” Sohta said with a bit of a laugh. He was an honest person for the most part, in fact most demons were. They were just better at twisting their words to make it sound like they were saying something else when in reality, they were not. It was all about how you phrased your words after all. He knew that it might be a bit off putting to Yumino for her to think him a trouble maker. He wouldn’t lie about it though and he had always had an eye for trouble. “But I generally don’t harm anyone, at least not on purpose.” He added, brushing a bit of hair back from his face; a light flash of light reflected off the studs in his ears. His eyes trailed down her jaw line and lingered on her soft lips for a little before he looked up to her eyes. Her words made him raise his brow in thought and agreement. “Oh yes, you can learn some very interesting information.” He leaned back in his chair, the toothpick in his mouth wiggling a little as he played with the other end with his tongue. “Of course, just looking at someone doesn’t give you all the pieces. Talking to someone, getting to know them is the only real way to understand them.” He added, his eyes lingering on her face a little longer, his expression almost amused. He was, though. It was almost fun, this little game he had going on. He could interact with her and talk with her; all without Yumino know who he was. He supposed it was almost an upper hand that he had over his brethren, but he wasn’t using it as that. This was just something to help pass the time.

He looked at her smirk and her invitation over as a good thing. He nodded considering this options. He could have them over at his house- it wasn't like any one was there to say no, but he didn't want to make them both come over when he only knew her. " Please. I would like to meet with you brother soon. Also-the rune at the top of that page should be more pointed- more like an Old English R. " He said before he tuned back around, he was surprised to actually having found some one who knew about Runes, much less her older brother- that was good- meaning if hew as older he might know or even might have summoned a demon himself- that was some thing he was very curious to see.

Yumino found he was honest, an odd quality for someone who liked trouble but somehting she found a little refreshing. She wasn't sure how that affected his life however, besides piercings on his ears... but apparently if he wasn't suffering any obvious scars or signs of drug use he couldn't be all that harmful right? She sat posture perfect in her chair, legs crossed at the ankle and her hands folded in her lap. It was something her grandmother trained her to do, to the point it was second nature to be rigid. Her grandfather would only let her eat with them if she had perfect ettiquette since it was the mark of a true Tsukiyo to have refined manners. When he leaned back and spoke she watched the tooth pick bob momentarily, wondering his attachment to it. She had to say it gave him a rather laid back look. She tilted her head a little wondering if perhaps that read on him from just an appearance was true... Since the topic seemed to shift to the proper way to understand people, Yumino listened to his two cents and found that she had a slight problem with it. "Perhaps," However her look was not thoughtful or didn't seem to register what her voice sounded like, "But sometimes people put up a front for others. They could easily pretend to be something their not, tell you what you want to hear..." It was possibly the longest sentance that had come out of her mouth since their conversation began and she took notice of it. Since when was she so willing to share her actual thoughts with some stranger?

Hook-Line-Sinker. Momoko’s eyebrow quirked in response to his comment about one of her runes. She looked down at is and found that he was correct. Hmm, he could be a good witch. A devilish smile formed on her lips before she bit down on her bottom lip. She shut her notebook and looked up as her name was called from across the room. She looked up and found one of her friends waving her over. She got up, glancing at Adrian and then walked over to her. Class eventually started, their teacher going on and on about this and that. Momoko didn’t pay attention enough and was embarrassed when she was called upon to read; the teacher had to call her name three times. The little demoness was busy coming up with ideas on what she could do with Adrian. By the sound of it he was very interested in her brother, but that was only just the start of things. Once she got him over and spending time with her, maybe he would actually become interested in her as well. Lunch came rather quickly and all of Momoko’s friends went to the cafeteria. Momoko decided to stay in the class room to eat her home made lunch. She figured Adrian would be staying as well and she wondered if he brought anything to eat. She had more than enough to share if he would want, but of course, she didn’t know what his situation was. ~~~ Yumino was very proper, Sohta realized; her posture and the firmness of all of her limbs. It suggested that she had been raised in a very proper manner, though Sohta knew this in a way. The few memories he had seen of hers showed him a piece of how she had lived her life. It was almost familiar in a way; their situations seemingly similar. They were different though. Sohta found Yumino’s response to his words interesting and he smiled at them, enjoying the challenge. His expression was less cheerful and more intrigued now. He couldn’t help it though; this little witch of his was just so damned entertaining. “Well, nearly everybody has a front that they put up.” He replied, tilting his head to the side some. “That is where observing and speaking become inseparable. It is a rare time when one person can put up a front and act the front perfectly with no flaws or clues as to their true intentions or purposes.” Like a demon…He thought and then took the toothpick out from between his lips. “No one shows their true colors. If everyone didn’t save face, then there would be a lot more weird in this world.” He shrugged his shoulders gently, wondering what she would have to say to that.

He noted her being called across the room and let it go. He went back to his notes and looking out the window as class went on- however he was releaved when lunch came and people left- he was usually left alone with one or two others however the girl from his class that morning- the one who talked to him- Momoko? was that her name? He thought so. She was there, he didn't bother talking however- be pulled out a lunch he had packed, it was more american style- unlike these people who made little lunch boxes. He just made a sandwich and had a water. If she wanted to talk more- she was going to have to make the effort- until then he had some more notes to read.

Yumino watched him speak her eyes not leaving his. She kept her calm and unmoved look present though it was just over her shock. She hadn't heard someone actually have a view quite like that... Fronts were important to keep up sure, he was right one that. But she prefered it everyone was just honest with themselves and their intentions. It would make things so much easier. Make understanding people far less difficult for her. "Saving face...I suppose you are right. Though I don't see any good in a reputation when its only a fiscade..."She said before looking out the window just behind him, averting his eyes for the first time. She wasn't sure why, but that look he gave her, the interested one reminded her of someone else.... "Imagine how different life would be if we really said what was on our minds. Even if it was weird as you say, imagine how many opportunities we wouldn't miss, how many things could change." She said more to herself than him really. Her icy blue eyes returned to his and she wondered just how she was doing at communicating with him. She wasn't used to this...talking thing.
