His eyes widened momentarily at her words and he looked away from his face again, his heart fluttering and his mind jumbled. He was at a loss of words for a moment. This was a better response than what he had originally hoped for. Though he was also saddened and scared by them in a way, both happiness and sadness conflicted on his face, making him look unsure. "I am scared though Isis. Scared of myself and where these feelings might lead. Scared that I will hurt you deeply should I truly forget myself and you." His voice was soft though his courage was building back up again, he looked at her face, his own slightly flushed. "I am unsure on how to react to these emotions inside of my heart and my mind. I have desires that I have never felt towards anyone else. I have blocked my emotional self from everyone for so long that I don't know quite how to act." He was pretty much asking Isis what he should do. She was teaching him about himself just as he was teaching her about becoming high priestess. He didn't know what to do though. Did he want to risk hurting her and follow what his soul craved or did he just want to deal with everything on his own and push her away. It was something he debated in his mind now, it showing on his face. To be selfish or not to be.

She smiled a bit at his words, she never knew that someone could be so conflicted with themselves but at least he seemed to be trying. Plus she couldn't deny the fact that she was scared of him forgetting her but being hurt she was sure that she could handle that. She finally looked back up at him "All we can really do is see where this goes and if something bad should come of it then it comes or if something good comes of it then better" she stated hoping that it would lift his spirit some more. It seemed like when he got to take a step forward he forced himself back three times that. Isis cleared her throat and got to her feet "Would you like some sweets? I was able to make a little something for dessert while I was cooking our meal" she said walking over to one of the counters, the small fudge dish she made should have settled by now...she hoped. She pulled out a knife and started to cut some small pieces for them. Isis didn't do well with tense situations cause she was always carefree and didn't have to worry about such things so this was her way of dealing with them.

Ramzan smiled some, her words helping a little. "Yes. You are right." He looked up at her now, his body less tense as he relaxed himself. His ears perked up some when Isis mentioned something about sweets. Ramzan had a sweet tooth like one wouldn't believe and he hadn't even noticed her make anything other than what he had eaten already. "I would love some thank you." His voice almost sounded eager as he knew that whatever she made would taste good because she had made such a delicious meal. His mind wandered though as she left to go get whatever it was that she had made. Ramzan was a bit more confident now. If they just let things progress naturally than they could see where it went. Ramzan wasn't going to suppress his emotions as much around Isis now but then his thoughts went to the Pharaoh. What would he think? Ramzan wasn't sure what he would think though he knew he would be pissed if he found out. Oh well. It wasn't like he would be able to much to him for much longer.

She smiled when he sounded eager and she put some of the fudge on a plate. She turned around and walked back to the table and set the fudge down on the table. She sat down and picked up a piece of the small fudge "I hope you like it, I had to improvise on some of the ingredients" she said with a smile on her face. "So what is the plan for tomorrow?"

He took a bite of the fudge and smiled. It was sweet and it melted in his mouth. "It is wonderful. Good job." Ramzan gave her a smile and nibbled on the rest of the piece that he had given her, wanting to savor it. Tomorrow? He hadn't thought that far yet. "I think I will just be asking you some questions about your readings but nothing much. Probably a jog around the house and maybe a trip to the market." That was about as far as his mind would go right now, under its current conditions. "Is there anything you would like to do?" he questioned.

She was happy that he liked the fudge cause she never thought that she would be good at anything so this was a plus in her book. "I would like to go to the market. There's some things that I would like to get so that I can cook better things for us to eat" she nibbled on the fudge but it wasn't what she wanted but it was nice to have something to eat. She nodded her head and then quickly thought back onto her reading, what had she been reading these past couple of days. Oh no, she had a lot of reading to do is she was going to answer his questions.

"Then we shall go to the market though morning exercises come first." His eyes were bright now as he finished the fudge, glancing over at the rest of it, he could eat the rest of the batch though he wouldn't. He did however want another piece so he got up and walked over to the plate, glancing over at Isis for permission. He really did have a sweet tooth. He wondered though if Isis had finished reading all of her assignments though he wouldn't extend the time, he might forget to ask a question or two pertaining to one of the scrolls. That was if he was feeling nice. Though he wasn't going to tell her that. Then it wouldn't seem fair, in his mind he liked to treat all of his students equally though he doubted that it would last for long with the relationship that was growing between them.

Isis finished her piece of fudge and watched him get up from the table. She watched intently where he went and her smile grew a little more before she nodded her head "have as much as you like, I plan to make more later" she said and got to her feet. She had a lot of rereading to do so that she would be prepared for his questions. "I'll be in my room" she told him softly and headed to her room. Once inside she hardly could bring herself to pick up one of the scrolls. She really wasn't in the mood to learn let alone read and that hadn't happened to her since she was very young. But none the less she took a scroll and laid down in her bed rereading it.

Beaming like a child being given a present, Ramzan got himself a larger piece and nibbled on it as he went into his work room to grab a scroll. Making his way to the living room, he plopped himself down on a large pile of pillows and opened to scroll to read. If Isis was going to be in her room reading than Ramzan figured that he should read as well. Though it wasn't a very historical or religious text, it was mythological but they made some of the best stories.
That was how the next hour for him went, finishing up his piece of fudge and reading the whole scroll, glad that he could let his mind get away from the current situation. Of course though what he had been dreading all day occurred. His pains came, more intense than before. He struggled with it for a good five minutes, by the end of which he was hoping to die. He hoped that Isis hadn't heard any noises he might of made as he leaned back and caught his breath, cursing the Gods cruelty. Though maybe they all went through this at some point in time. It still sucked majorly.

Isis had finished on the first scroll again and started to rub her eyes, she needed to take a break but she had two other scrolls to read. So she leaned over and picked up another scroll and began reading it but she had only gotten a few paragraphs through before she fell asleep. She even dreamed of reading the scrolls, the information just seemed to float by her head and she was reading them. It was an odd sensation to read like that but it was also a nice relief cause she didn't have to hold the scroll and she could just sit there and let the text come to her.

Leaning back, Ramzan closed his eyes. He wasn't going to take a nap but he wanted to rest his eyes and let himself mull over the conversation Isis and him had just had. It was complicated he thought though in further thought he found that it was really quite simple. Smiling he was glad that it had worked out as well as it did. Ramzan was still trying to digest the fact that she wasn't going to leave him alone, no matter what her father said, during his last few weeks. He was so happy for that. He didn't want to be alone anymore. He actually wanted to be accepted now and not try and hide himself, though only for Isis was he willing to do that. She had said that she wasn't going to leave him and if she betrayed the trust that he was now putting in her, Ramzan was going to be very angry.

Her dream of text reading ended soon and she started to have dreams of Ramzan. They were just sitting and talking. She couldn’t make out what they were actually talking about but the air around them was pleasant. As in her dream and real life she had a simple smile on her face. She wished that outside of the dream world things could be nice and simple in the real world. Isis rolled over onto her side, the scroll that she had been reading slid off of her and rested nest to her bed of pillows. She grabbed for a blanket and pulled it over herself. She thought for a minute that she should probably get up and keep reading but she was just too tried.

The evening came quickly and Ramzan was exhausted after another one of his pains hit him. He decided to skip dinner and go to bed, so without saying anything to Isis as he figured she could take care of himself, Ramzan went into his room and crashed. Morning came too soon, the light of the rising sun hitting Ramzan square in the face as he woke, somehow he was on the floor. Thinking that he must have had some intense dreams, he stood up and made his bed, getting dressed right afterwords.
It took him a few minutes but finally he was completely awake. It was quite early but he wanted to go to the market and maybe Isis and him could get breakfast from one of the venders. A slight smile on his lips, Ramzan walked out of his room and went to Isis's door, knocking on it loudly to wake her if she was asleep. For all he knew, Isis was behind him and in the living room, wondering, he turned his head just to make sure. Ramzan really needed to be more observant, he had been lacking lately.
