-Amunet- The Hidden One. Goddess of the air. Wife to Amun, God of the moon.
Cursed Forever. What a beautiful sunset it was. Pinks, reds, and yellows. A deep blue at the horizon that signified the coming of night. The bright colors glinted red off of sandstone belonging to gargoyle, sitting atop a cathedral in New York City. Such an odd make for a gargoyle. Sandstone with a red tone, a beautiful woman with wings and horns. Almost Egyptian in make. Such a beautiful set of claws. She looked so fragile and deadly. From blue, to sapphire, to a nice shade of blue black. The sky was cloudy that night though there was a bright full moon behind the thundering clouds. That spoke trouble. The town would be full of miscreants tonight, many unsavory acts would be committed. As the sky faded to black and the clouds stormed in, lightning crashing above. The sandstone seemed to begin to flake off and recede from the gargoyle until there was sun tanned skin and blond hair that reached down to her hips. Her golden eyes flickered open and she yawned, stretching. Pointed ears were revealed , along with red markings on her forehead and cheeks. Practically naked, there was a stony scale like substance barely covering her nether regions and a substance that almost looked like wet leather or maybe even silk covered her breasts. She seemed comfortable in her skin however she looked at the sky angry. She had been planing on flying tonight but she assumed hopping from building to building would have to do. Her red and clear membraned wings stretched out behind her. She smiled, though it didn't reach her eyes, small and pointy fangs glinted in her mouth. So she took a leap off of the top of the cathedral and then pulled herself up with her wings. It didn't seem as if the tiny little things could hold her up, though with a little help from some of the basic wind magic she possessed it became possible. She landed lightly on a medium height building and sighed as she took a running leap off of a few more buildings. The the rain started to fall, cold against her tanned skin. She shivered some as she landed on her destination. A small bar, though she wouldn't go inside. There was a small sky light at one end of the roof where you could hear music trail up from down below. She loved to sit there and listen to the music for a while. It helped her nights go by and take her mind off of what had happened to her. Sure it had been many many years since she had been free and with out her wings. No stone trapping her at day. How long had it been since she had seen the sun? She didn't know nor did she care to remember. Her husband however she always remembered and always would though she didn't always care for him much. Always mean though he had his ups and downs and she had loved him but that was many years ago. So many years ago he had died and she had been counted as the one who had murdered him. Of course that wasn't true but who could argue with someone with great magic. The one who cursed her with this horrible life of darkness. She sighed however as she listened to one of her favorite songs. I took a walk around the world to Ease my troubled mind I left my body laying somewhere In the sands of time I watched the world float to the dark Side of the moon I feel there is nothing I can do, yeah She listened to it for a while before daring to look through the window, hand on the top. She was leaning on top and realized that the bar was now closed. She wondered why but then saw broken glass and a lone guy sweeping up underneath of her. She leaned in to take a closer look and then she cursed under neath of her breath when the glass creaked and then broke. She let out a small shriek but had a somewhat soft landing as she hit the man. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Lyrics- 3 Doors Down- Kryptonite Just to say once again. I will not be posting on this everyday nessesarily. This is just kind of something I had floating in my mind. I want to do it but am very busy so yea...

Grumbling slightly under his breath Alex slowly swept up the many broken cup and whatnot. "Stupid drunks. Ah well, if it wasn't for them I'd be out of a job." He sighs a he continues to work, thankful the owner kind of liked him and allowed him to use the jukebox while he was working.
He hummed while he worked slowly and carefully cleaned. He hated his job but it was all he could find that the time and was now pretty much stuck doing it. As he was about to finish up he heard the distinct sound of cracking glass. He looked around for a second and realized just as the sky light broke, looked up and immediately covered his head jerking it down very hard. "Shit!"
He was hit hard by the falling debris. It felt like he was hit with a cinder block over the head. As he started to black out he remembered hearing a shriek, and then everything went black.

Sitting up while rubbing the back of her neck, Amunet groaned. Blasted human craftsmanship. She cursed as she realized that she had just landed on the human that had been cleaning up. Golden eyes widening, she jumped off of him to find that he was out cold. Oh what to do, what to do, she mused silently. Really she couldn't just leave him, well she could but Amunet wasn't that cruel. Her mind was made up as she saw a trickle of blood on the mans face. She had hurt him and so it was her responsibility to make it up to him.
For a moment, when Amunet had gotten closer to the man, she had thought he was dead but let out a sigh of relief as she saw his chest moving up and down. She hoped that he wouldn't wake with what she was about to do...that would be quite the long explanation wouldn't it. With music in the background, the scantily clad gargoyle placed her hands over the mans head and began chanting lightly. Using her wind magic, she could head minor wounds. Slowly she could feel it closing and mending, the underneath of her hands glowing with a reddish gold color. She couldn't tell if there was a concussion or not but she sent a pulse of healing througout his mind so as to make sure. Amunet would not touch the mind of a mortal, even if it was to make it better. Least not without his permission.
Upon close examination of the human man, Amunet found him to be rather attractive. His dark brown hair framed his face nicely, giving her a smile, sharp k-nines poking through. "I am sorry to have hurt you." She said softly as she stood, voice sounding like a fresh breeze. Flipping her golden hair out of her eyes, she turned around and saw the mess on the ground. Now the only issue was debating whether or not to clean up the mess or just leave. Maybe a call to the hospital for the male would be a good idea. So she stood their thinking, back to the human, and small thin membranous wings flapping occassionally.

(occ: I am drawing a pic of my rpc for a visual reference for you.)
He looks around but only sees darkness. He calls out but doesn't even hear his own voice. The darkness seems to almost feel heavy, as if it was trying to swallow him whole. He begins to struggle but cant even tell if he is moving at all. Panicking two lights begin to come into view, one looks like it is made of pure fire. The other is whiter than anything he has ever seen.
Upon seeing them he begins to panic in earnest now. And again he tries to yell for help but nothing comes out of his mouth. As he tries to struggle but fails, he hears a distant voice be hind him. "I am sorry to have hurt you." He slowly starts to gain the ability to move again, and forces himself to move in the direction the voice came from.
As he moves he slowly gets the feeling of falling, and it was quickly starting intensify. Then without warning it stops.
Moaning, he start to move about but stops almost immediately due to the fact he is tender all over. Slowly opening his eyes he calls out, H..Hello? Who's there? Wh.. What happened." When his eyes finally focus enough to make out shapes around him, he looks around for the origin of the voice.

The sound of movement behind her caused Amunet to turn towards the male in shock. He was coming to, much quicker than she had imagined. His eyes were opened and as he said 'hello', Amunet jumped backwards and landed behind a table. Peaking her head up slightly, she watched him move. 'Not good, not good, not good!', she thought, annoyed at herself for not just leaving right away.
She must have healed him much to quickly, that or the pulse of energy she had sent into his brain had waken him somehow. Golden eyes searching the room for a quick exit, she found that all of the easily accessible ones were on the other side of the human. Sighing softly, she wanted to keep quiet but of course, in her nervousness, one of her wings hit a glass off of the table, making a crash as it hit the floor. Cursing under her breath, she stilled her vibrating wings; something that she did when she was thinking.

Still looking around groggily, he realizes after his vision clears up some more that there wasn't that much debris around him to account for knocking him out. He looks up to where the sky light is and only sees one or two panes broken.
Somewhere near him the sound of glass shattering startles him and he jumps slightly and immediately regrets it due to to his body screaming at him. He cringes but fights past it and looks towards the source of the noise.
As he searched for what made the noise he was surprised to see someone hiding behind a table. He calls out to the person weakly. "Hello, are you ok? Did you fall from the sky light?"

"Shit.", She muttered under her breath as the man looked her way. Amunet ducked under the table more, trying to obscure her body as much as possible. This was just not going to be her night now was it. Grumbling mentally, she tried to scoot away from the human but then he had to go and talk to her. "Oh um, I am fine. Just terrific. No need to worry about me." She said, her voice portraying someone that was calm though her eyes were the complete opposite. She was worried, not quite panicking, not yet at least. There really wasn't much to panic over though. If he saw her than she would make him never speak about her again, though she would rather not go through that since the last time someone had seen her...well that was a story that would best not be told during the night.
Her golden eyes closed for a moment as she tried to think about what to do. She could fly out of the skylight without another word, but then there would be rumors of bat people which would be bad. Funny but bad. Crouching into the shadows while thanking the heavens that this was a bar, Amunet's eyes glinted from underneath of the table. A feline gold, silted in all the wrong places for a human. She of course didn't know that they light had reflected off of her eyes, giving away her position if the human male had been looking in the right direction.
How ever was she to get out of this one safely? ((Oh and I am excited to see your drawing ))

(( Thx )) Forcing himself to sit up carefully and very slowly. Looking around to see if there was as little debris as he originally saw and confirmed that there was only a little. He turns slowly and painfully turns to where the person is assuming that it was a woman due to the sound of the voice. "Are you su...r..e...." He stutters to a stop mid-sentence due to the sight of what looks like a cats or something. He kind of cocks his head and stares for a moment before catching himself. "Are you sure your ok miss?" He starts to stand up, but hesitates slightly before fully coming upright.

Amuent blinked a few times, trying to figure out if the human had seen her. Her translucent red wings twitched as she was nervous to be caught, but she kept them from giving away her position. When he asked if she was okay, Amunet had to grit her teeth. She had said she was fine had she not? Damn human curiosity, she thought as she bit her knuckles in a bad habit. She really really regretted not leaving right away now. Damn, her nature of wanting to help as well.
"Yes, I am fine. Quite sure in fact." She replied, making a point of emphasizing the word 'fine'. She ducked down a little further, trying to stay as much in the shadows as she could when he stood up fully. Great now what am I supposed to do, she wondered, trying to come up with some kind of plan of action. "Sorry about the falling, I can be a bit clumsy." She lied, well only about the clumsy part. She was apologetic for falling on top of him but now she wished he would have just stayed passed out for a few more minutes.

After standing still due to the dizziness, he then start towards where she is crouching. "Would you like some water, I cant give you any of the good stuff." He chuckles slightly partially cause he doesn't even think she will take the drink.
As he slowly walks to wards her, he thinks to himself. "Is she really hiding? If she is... Then why? Well she could be hurt...." He glances down at the floor and seeing that there is no blood dismisses the though. " Nah, not hurt. Probably freaked though."

"Ahh, no thanks, I'm good." She responds, biting her lip and grabbing her translucent wings. She was definitley freaking out, though in a rather calm manner, the only thing that would have given her away was her wings being so jittery. Back up against a chair, she sighed ever so softly. She really was unsure about what to do in this situation. Though, maybe she could slip out when he turned around. Shit, she was so dumb at times, she thought to herself as she watched the humans movements closely.
Things like this didn't happen to her often. Usually she was so much more careful with what she did and where she landed. A crash of thunder echoed over head and rain started falling outside, pouring in from the sky light. She had been wondering whether or not the clouds were going to rain. Her question had been answered now, though it was turning into quite a mess for the floor.
