So Shawn thought Drina had put her up to this? Unable to help herself she smiled and shook her head quickly as she gave a soft giggle. " No." She said firmly. " She didn't." How did she explain that she thought she could be his friend. Crossing her legs she placed her hands in her lap. " I guess I hoped we could get along. All the other jumpers I've met treat me differently when they find out i'm blind."
He ran a hand through his hair and smiled mischeviously at Drina. " Trust me I don't get nervous about being stupid infront of people." He said cheekily. " I love the attention...it's part of the reason I stir the paladin up so much." He was too cocky for his own good but he realised that. " I just can't dance all that well."

He was glad that Drina hadn't put her up to this and that thought left a nice smile on his face "Well then it is very sweet of you to come and talk to me" he told her and then shifted on the bed. "I'm sorry to hear that. The only reason why I would treat you differently is because you are very beautiful and you have no idea how nervous I am right now" he finally told her and took a deep breath trying to calm himself as his mind raced.
"Well that's good to know" she told him and got up from her spot. She walked into the kitchen pouring herself more to drink and then she returned to the living room this time sitting on the couch with him. "I don't think it's just your sister and my brother that have something in common" she told him with a giant smirk on her face.

Tash nodded her head at his words. That's what she was, well at least Jason seemed to always say she was a sweet and kind person." Thanks." She replied as Shawn called her sweet. His next sentence made her giggle as she shifted her hands to wrap around her waist. " Don't be nervous around me. I'm harmless." She wasn't going to comment on the other part though. Beautiful? Well it wasn't like she could tell. She knew she had pretty hair that much she could remember but she'd certiantly changed a lot since she'd last viewed herself in the mirror. An 8 year old did look different to what she would now. " I'm really friendly as well." She said still trying to make him less nervous around her.
Jason tilted his head watching as Drina stood up and walked to the kitchen. " You have something in Common with Tash as well then?" He knew what she was actually getting at but he couldn't help but add a sarcastic remark. " I dunno..you seem more outgoing then my sister."

Shawn wanted to laugh; there was always something to be nervous about when a girl was involved and even more nerve wracking when a female jumper was involved. He had to remind himself to take a breath “Well…I haven’t really talked…with other people so I’m usually, no, I’m always nervous” he told her hoping that he explained it right. “Um so…” he was still unsure as to why she wanted to come and talk to him, he was just a depression and somewhat of a loner type of guy.
Her brows knitted together at his comment ‘Something in common…’ Drina thought to herself and then it hit her. That was right, Tash had a little ability of her own “yeah I guess so” she told him as she shifted on the couch. There really wasn’t much to talk about; they were strangers who met by chance…or maybe not so much chance but a lack of observation. With a heavy sigh she got up off the couch and started to move about the room finding anything to keep her hands busy.

Tash couldn't help but giggle as Shawn openly admitted to being nervous. " I'm always nervous as well." She admitted. " I always freak out when I have to talk to new people." Crossing her legs she got comfortable on the seat. " Do you jump much?" She asked trying to get a conversation started.
He smirked some. " Yes I know you meant the two of us had something in common. I just had to go and be cocky and mention tash." He was a smart alek after all.

He was able to take an easy breath now when she mentioned that she got nervous though he still had a hard time looking at her. So he kept his hands in his lap and his eyes slightly down casted. But he would look everyone so often to make sure he didn't miss anything that she said. "I jump on occasion but I prefer to be old fashion and walk a lot of places" he told her as he fidgeted with the blanket on his bed "It's sometimes hard for me cause I have to rely on a place I've seen or a picture. It use to be easier when I was able to rely on some sounds to remind me of a place but I guess when you lose something you learn other ways to do things" he explained to her.
Drina smiled a little at his comment and couldn't blame him, she was cocky at times. "Um...how was life for you before you found out your ability?"

It wasn't like that for her though. When she jumped it took her to wherever Jason was unless she was seeking someone else. No pictures needed, not that she could see one anyway. " Jumping makes me feel so sick." She explained. " I don't get to jump often either."
Jason stretched his arms up over his head and shrugged slightly. " I found out when I was quite young but I never knew what it was untill recent." He explained. " So life up untill my parents death was fairly normal.they weren't the greatest parents but they managed."

He could understand that well only slightly since he was use to jumping and he could never remembering being sick when he did. "Well from experience I think that jumping more would cure that sickness however it is totally up to you" he told her as he got to his feet and started to pick up a little. Even though she couldn't see his room he still felt embarrassed for how messy it was.
"I see" she finally responded and made her way back to her seat. She crossed her ankles and relaxed against the back of the chair. So maybe this was more awkward then she thought it was going to be but until Tash and Shawn came out of the room they were stuck there whether they were talking or not. "So...would you like to watch tv or something? It looks like they are going to be a bit in there"

Tash sighed softly then shook her head slowly. "I can't. I'm not allowed to jump." Really she hated it but it's what kept her safe. The knowledge that the paladin believed she lacked the ability to jump. They'd eat her alive if they knew she was blind she was practically a walking target.
He was going to appologise then decided against it. Tash was talking to Shawn the fact that she was still in the room talking to him was probably a good thing. " Yeah I think your right. I wonder what they are talking about." The offer for tv made him pull a face." Is there anything good on tv?" He asked.

"Like I said it's your choice but I know where you are coming from. I thought the same thing when I first lost my hearing. But whether the paladin find out I can't hear or not they are still going to come at me full force if they get their hands on me" he told her and he finally set his clothes in his basket and took his seat back on the bed "And if they found out about Drina then they would defiantly be searching harder for us but even if they did that I would protect my sister till my last breath" he told her. That was one thing he was very passionate about, he would not allow the paladin to get their hands on him nor his sister.
"Is there ever" she commented as she turned on the tv anyways. It was at least background noise and maybe she could find something that they both could crack jokes about. Drina started to surf through the channels to find something.

Tash played nervously with the ends of her hair she'd come in to talk to Shawn to cheer him up but now the conversation was making her consider things she shouldn't be thinking about. " I can't jump." She said with a little more force then she meant. It wasn't that she couldn't..she could definitely jump but she didn't want to. She didn't want the paladin to know she could jump as jumping itself terrified her. She hated jumping and not knowing where she was going just suddenly appearing next to Jason wasn't a nice feeling.

Shawn was a little shocked by the tone of her voice but he closed his mouth and sighed. "I'm sorry. Didn't mean to push it" he said softly and then got up off his bed. He walked over to her and picked up her hand "You are who you are" he said patting her hand and then dropped it. "Well, should we join the other two in the living room?" He asked her. Shawn was sure that she didn't want to be in here talking to anymore so maybe it was a good idea to go into the living room.

She'd been more or less rude in the way she'd answered Shawn a fact that made her blush in embarrassment. " I'm sorry for my tone of voice." She appologised. Still she couldn't go into detail about her fear of jumping that how every bad thing she associated in her life was the result of her and Jason being able to jump. Nodding her head at her suggestion she slowly stood up. She didn't like to stray from Jason to long anyway. He was her eyes without him she was utterely hopeless. As they returned to the living room she reached around till she felt Jason's arm then held onto it for support. " What do we do now?" She wasn't keen on having to move yet again besides where else could they move to.

"It's alright" he told her, in reality it wasn't so much her tone of voice that threw him off, it was her body language. Only do to the fact that he couldn't really hear her voice. But Shawn went with it and followed her out into the living room. There he saw Drina and Jason just sitting there. That was a curious sight to him, Drina was usually the talkative type but he just let it go and sat down on one of the chairs. "So...you two get along?" He asked softly and Drina turned to him. "Yes" she simply replied and turned her attention to the tv. "Ok...so..." Shawn wasn't sure what to do at this point.

This was awkward and she wanted out of this uncomfortable situation. " Jase do you think it's safe to go get our stuff?" She asked quietly. " Sorry Tash. I think you've lost your stuff again." Great. She wasn't going to be rude in front of Shawn and Drina but boy was Jason going to cop it when they finally got out of the place. It was easy for him to adjust he chose an apartment then went shopping for more clothes. She'd be stuck learning the apartment and then there was the unmentionable shopping for clothes. It was such a pain in the bum to do when one was blind. Reaching for her locket she clasped it tightly in her hand unable to hide her unhappiness. " Oh." Was all she said.
" So.." Jason agreed. " I think it's time we head off before we get you in trouble." Giving them a polite smile he reached for Tash deciding he'd take her out onto the street then jump them away.
