He listened to her comments and smirked," Yes so I was thinking that it was some one in the village itself who knows where the children are... not any creature in the woods hunting the young. " He cast his eyes about and pulled his robe about him a bit tighter, it was starting to get cold and he wasn't liking how bitter the wind was tonight.

Atrious' s idea struck Neve quite hard in her understanding. Someone in this sleepy little town was causing all the problems? But why? "But it makes sense..." She voiced the thought aloud since it was logical. Only an insider would know the patterns of these children and would know where they lived. The kidnappings were too close together and too flawless. But that left another worry hanging over her. "So then do took think they were at the meeting? We' 're probably wasting our time here if they already know we' 're coming." She said playing with the string of her bow in her lap.

He frowned," What if they weren't? Then this is a good take of our time...We will stay...I will however go in from time to time- its too bitter out here for me.. You should too...However I want to look around on the ground level...to see who is leaving prints and such..." He told her quietly, he was thinking about summoning an Artonach or something to help- but he wasn't sure it would help if the building caught on fire...It would keep him warm however it would cause problems in the long run. Not to mention it might draw attention to him...."Draw attention.. Could work... If they think I'm over here- and not paying close attention then they might strike here where you are completely hidden with the snow...you catch my drift?" He looked a there a new spark of an idea in his eyes and face with a smile.

Neve agreed with Atrious fully. She just felt she should give him an opening to go if he still wanted to. His comment about going inside made her nodd though she hardly shared in his sentiment about being cold. His idea however had her looking curious and acutely interested in what he had to say. "So bait them with false security? Nice." She said with a small smirk. "It seems to be night that they choose to strike. I think that since I'm already so flipping pale I can blend enough nearly the Jarls once it get's dark enough." She said before resting back on the snowy roof to look up at the sky. "We need to catch them though, not kill. So if you do summon an atronach keep it from doing more that singeing.. We still might have a chance at finding those kids alive..." She said with a hopeful expression that was flimsy and had a seed of doubt planted into it.

He frowned at her comment," If they attack me- I can't guarantee their safety- they attack only when ordered or when I am under attack. I will keep my distance however to avoid it. And I think pale on you looks good. It suits your skill set and beauty. Just like I look like a Nord...It suits my skill sets when I need them." He commented about her complexion- but he also made something about his appearance- it was there fro a reason so use it to your advantage. " However don't set your hopes too high... we might not find them all alive." He said his voice a bit sad but holding truth.

Neve understood what Atrious was saying about his Atronach but his comment about her complexion threw her off a bit. He really did enjoy complimenting her. Not that she was complaining but it was a bit different to hear it so blatantly and not in some kind of lewd or flirty way. Compliments weren't something she was used to unless it had ulterior motives, which was most cases. However when he mentioned him looking like a Nord she nodded a bit. It was true. She thought he was part Nord like her perhaps, though he never said anything to that effect. His last comment though had her swallow hard before she spoke again. "I know...but I still want to have at least a little optomism...Even if we can't save them all, at least we can stop whoever is doing this." She said as she looked around at the town bellow for a perfect spot. She saw a few trees by the Jarls home that had thick leaves and snow and ice in them. It could do well for her to use her bow from there.

" Alright so you know... When do you think we should separate?" He asked a simple questions however his voice was a bit sad since he didn't really wanna leave just yet- being out in the clear cold with her was actually not half bad. " Not that I think they will show up just yet... you know. I don't like being alone much.. too much to think about...like when I'm drunk." he lamely answered afterwards he was rambling and looking for an excuse to stay longer. He felt bad about being drunk infront of her still but he didn't like to be alone with his self. too much to think about.

A faint smile crept onto her lips at his repsonse. His bit about not liking to be alone was cute...Neve paused quickly justifying that it was alright for him to find a man cute with no alternative feelings....just that he was cute....that's all.... "Not till dark. All their stories seemed centered around the night..." She rolled onto her stomach looking to him with a curious look. "You know," She began looking down at the snow that littered the roof beneath her. She considered saying that she didn't mind what he said when he was drunk, but then again she didn't want to send him the wrong signals....so she chose something else to say to that effect. "I don't mind if you share your thoughts with me Atrious." She looked back to him, remembering that hurt look on his face before he stormed out of his tent. It worried her wether or not she wanted to admit it. "That's what you do for a friend right. I promise it will all be confidential." Placed two fingers over her heart then placed them lightly on his lips. She pulled away then and realized he might not have understood the gesture. "Oh that's a thing between Khajiits. It means an unbreakable promise. Like a nip on the ear is a sign of greeting between pack memebers." She felt odd explaining something she ahd grown up with, but she reminded herself no one really knew the inter workings of Khajiit society since they kept to themselves.
((Lol Neve justifying Atrious's cuteness lol))

As she explained he laught lightly," alright- however if I do- confide in you... I don't want you judging me- or hating me even. I want you to think no different of me.. For my past. Can you promise me that?" He asked her in. Serious tone, his face a well practiced poker face. She was asking a Lot of trust from him, he was willing to give it but he had to know she wouldn't judge him. If she did- and she didn't want to be his friend Any longer, he would have judge left off not saying a word and avoiding the elf. If she could keep up on her word- then he would confide in her- he had a lot of problems circling about his family that was torn and messed up with a Dark past , his father made sure of that. He respected him but it was hard to love some one when they never showed love any easy way. It was threw harsh words And lessons, he usually said if he didn't care he would have left him to die some where- but he took him in go teach no His own passion- passion for the dragon lords he followed into his death- only to have risen again.

Neve has to admit what he asked of her was steep. Since he had to ask her not to change opinions of him, that meant he was hiding something that would. But if she made a promise to keep her opinion of him the same....could she stick to it? Neve as the type person that didn't break promises but only made those she could keep. This one was definitely pushing the unsure boundary but...Atrious seriously needed someone to confide in to keep himself sane. You couldn't just bottle it up forever. Not to mention if there was something she should know about him, then she'd feel more comfortable knowing so she could trust him better in a sense. "You have my word Atrious. But I think we should wait till we know we' 're alone then. I don't want the promise being broken over an eavesdropper." She said as she offered him a smile.

He smiled at her, getting a positive answer. " thank you. I hope you don't regret it later." He joked but there was a serious tone there as well. He nodded in agreement when she wanted to wait till they were more alone- to be sure things were safe to say. This mission was going to be interesting in its self to see how it all panned out. He was hoping to save agora at one child.

Neve stayed with Atrious through the last hours of day and to some of the first hours of night. She got up and smoothed the snow from her clothes before offering him a wink. "Good luck." She told him before slipping down the building and heading over to the Jarls place. She looked around but didn't see anything out of the ordinary. She settled up into the trees, and held her bow at the ready. She huffed and stretched after an hour or two passed. It wasn't till around midnight that suddenly something appeared from the Jarl's home. She spared a look in Atrious's direction, the way the person was facing. not wanting him to get into an up close conflict, she jumped down from the tree, approaching the figure with an arrow aimed for their head. "Stop right there. Hold your hands up and get down on the ground." She said when she was at a good distance and the figure slowly turned to look at her. It was Ingrod, the Jarls daughter. "You? Your the one taking the children?" she stared at the woman in disbelief then got angry when she didn't answer. "You have no room to be silent! Do you want me to put an arrow between your eyes?!" She hissed till Ingrod's eyes flicked away from her to something behind Neve. Neve tensed when she suddenly felt someone behind her. Before she could turn a voice was in her ear, a soft sultry voice that filled her mind with an intense longing. "Obey me" the voice beckoned, the only thing waking her from that trance like state was a cold clawed hand touching the back of her neck. She whirled around with her bow aime at whatever it was but all she got out was a shout of, "Atrious!" before Neve's world went black.

He left from there as well, taking her good luck comment in stride. He hadn't summoned an accomplish yet but he was thinking about it. It was about midnight now when he summoned a flame atronach- it swam threw the air with a blase and he was enjoying the heat however- when he suddenly heard Neve call out his name- it sounded angry but scared- clipped and short. He sprinted off to see her slouched on the ground- he commanded the summon to attack- but not kill- injure. He sprinted there straight to her- he wasn't sure who was around but he saw a shadow and the atronach was on its trail.
((Didn't know what was going down...))

Neve lay unconcious, limp as a wrag doll from whatever the person had done to her. Her mind swam with a voice however that was telling her things that scared her a bit. However the voice was so hauntingly beautiful she couldn't help but feel compelled to do what it told her and slowly but surely allowed herself to sink away into a dark place of rest in her mind.... Neve's eyes opened when she felt Atrious near and she weakly sat up. She tried to rise but fell forward into him, her head burried into his shoulder as her head spun. "Atrious..." She said in a light groan, her arms going round his neck in an embrace that was a bit too intimate for her normally. 'Kill him...' A pretty voice told her and instantly Neve reacted obidiently. Her grip around Atrious slowly tightened into a crippling pressure around his neck, enough to strangle him to death if he didn't get her off of him. The shadow shot across the show, a red light exploding from its hands at it tried to ward off the atronach. A flash of red illuminated a woman's face, a woman that worked as a bar maid at the inn. She watched her previous target, the Jarl's daughter, fall over into a deep sleep in the snow since her spell had worn off. But now she had a new little toy, a pretty little elf under the control of her vampiric abilities that would give her enough life force to keep her young forever. If only she could just get her to kill this young man she seemd close to...No matter how handsome he was, this ability only worked once on one person from a close range and Neve was the only person within her view that she could get her hands on besides Ingrod... The children hadn't seemed to have the same lasting effects that the young adults did, though she hadn't tried killing them yet. They were all just in a deep sleep trapped away in a hidden place till she could decide how to properly drain them for her beauty purposes....

When she sat up slightly- he smiled happy she wasn't dead. When her arms went about his neck- it was almost too intimate- he blushed wondering what the hell had happened to her. When her grip started to tighten he pulled her arms from around him and frowned- that wasn't a good sign- her trying to strangle him. She wasn't herself. He took a deep breath and reached into his belt and pulled out a paralysis liquid and poured it down her throat- her actually biting him. It almost made him smile as he pushed off the ground and left her be. He was more concerned with the Atronach who was trying to subdue the culprit- when a flame flashed by their face he scowled at her- it was the damned bar maid he head seen earlier that evening. He changed the instruct to cripple. He doubted it would have too much more time but he was hoping he could keep it distracted well enough, so he could circle around and get the Jarl's daughter- Neve would have to come around on her own- the child was first priority.
