Ingrod was out cold in the snow while Neve lay frozen like a statue. In her state she could hear the voice hissing and snarling for her to get up but she couldn't make her body move. 'That bastard poisoned me!' She couldn't help but think, the small part of her that wasn't lost at the moment to the creatures spell. The bar maid, Alva, looked up and saw what the mage was doing and she let out a defiant hiss. She took the dagger from her waist and attacked the atronach, clipping it a good few times before she got it weak enough to get around it. She went at Atrious and tried to get him with the dagger. If only she could get a hand on him then she could use her vita drain ability and just suck the life out of him completely.

He noticed her motions and her sudden intentions to get at him- he wouldn't have that at all- He dodged her easily and pulled out his own dagger- hoping that it was well enough easy to use he wouldn't have to die in order to learn how. Taking a deep breath he called a shout to his lips, barking it really in a brush to get past her- the force of it pushing the woman back. The suddenly became so thick with fog- he was luck he memorized where every one was. He quickly moved for Ingod and pulled her to him, her body slack and sleeping. He pulled her up against the build and waited there- watchful- however he summoned the new creature he was playing with- the new summon. He had memorized the words and he didn't feel safe. He knew where Neve was and he hoped to the nine princes he had this right. Looking in Neve's direction- he aimed very carefully before words pulled onto his tongue and a purple black haze shot threw the fog towards Neve- just by her left arm- a black portal opened up and a large being stepped threw. A big sword in its hands and heavy armor there- looking plastered with blood in places and its eyes dead and glowing. It was nasty looking but he didn't know-just from what he had read he was imagining-he just hoped to go he had it right. It stood at the ready to attack and it would vanish not long after the fog cleared in a bit. It was a precaution however with his mana being so low- he was getting tired. He wasn't too physically adept as Neve was- her not having to worry about mana-he was more then dependent on it. It would stop any one who tried to touch Neve- that was the order. If it came near her- the thing by the girl on the ground- kill any who approached. Another reason he was there against the building with the unconscious girl in his arms. His heart was pounding in his head and he half wished he hadn't used that shout... His father had told him to use them so sparingly and never in front of others- he had done it twice now in front of Neve... The Dremora's teeth rattled as it sucked in some breath,"I smell weakness." It said as it took in the sent- he heard it and it sent a shiver threw him. That wasn't a usual response- he hoped to the gods he didn't kill Neve.

Neve lay still, watching from where she lay to see the scene near her. She saw Atrious shout and felt the same strange feeling of a tug in her chest. like she got when she used the ice shout. It was another language. She knew That it was a whole different language but something about it She understood. ' It sounds like my shout...' She thought right before Atrious disappeared from her view in the fog. She heard the voice growing weaker in her mind and little by little she regained conscious thoughts. though She couldn't move still she was able to sense trouble when a scary being suddenly appeared. She tremble internally at its voice and wondered if this was what was harming people...but it didn't attack her though. Alva hissed at the creature that disappeared, her singed body aching from her weakness to fire. Her eyes widened and saw thhE fog suddenly drop over the field. She screeched in annoyance and went to go and collect her catch to drain the woman before her health dtopped too low. Her eyes were ddawn however when a black being appeared. She took a step back and stared at the threatening beast. "Ilk deal with your toy, drain your little whore, then I'll find you little mage...and when I do I'll make you suffer." She sneered and lunged at the beast to test its power.

It stood there dark and dense against the fog- however when it turned its glowing eyes on Neve it sniffed then turned- not the fastest since it had heavy armor but it looked almost happy to see the new thing attacking,"I honor my Lord by destroying you!" It said as it took a good swing at Alva. Its long sword barely hitting her middle but nicked her side none the less. It continued to fight- and it was wanting to eat her- finish her. "I will feast on your heart!"It was a nasty voice to hear however he was fumbling with his only free arm- having put the dagger away- he down the last of his mana vials. He hoped to go he wouldn't have to use them any more tonight. However he was wondering if he should summon another- only- could he with out dismissing the lord?

Ava lurched when the sword hit her, mostly because the steel felt like liquid fire. She gasped as the feeling passed and she knew she was getting dangerously low on health. This beast was strong...but just how long would it last. The was an illusion, she had seen something like this before. Mages were good at these sorts of things. She retaliated, stabbing the things free hand when it reached for her and she danced back a good distance. Ingod began to wake her eyes fluttering as she lay against the wall. "Wh-why am I here? Who--?" She paused and looked terrified at Atrious. "Who are you?! Guards!" She shrieked back pedaling away from him but her hands caught the loose snow, sending her onto the ground on her back. Alva's head snapped in the direction of the scream and a pale lipped smile tugged across her yellowing teeth. "Got you..." She snickered attempting to go in that direction when icy snow hit the back of her head. She whirled round and glared at Neve who was only half up, propped up by one arm and still lying in the snow. She was glaring at Alva, though it was obvious she was having trouble moving. "I'll drain your energy dry." She hissed and Neve gave her a sneer. "Bring it granny." Neve growled with a slight slur though she saw the Dremora was still in effect. Alva looked warry of it, especially its sword. If there was a way to corner her, to make it so she couldn't go anywhere and had to face this beast, maybe they would have a shot at killing her. Neve felt her arm give out and she hit the snow again, breathing heavily from the effort of moving. The poison was losing potency, but she was still struggling to gain possession of her body. It seemed that leech had taken quite a bit of energy from her before Atrious arrived.

When the girl woke up and freaked out he cursed a few of the princes before he clapped a hand over her mouth," I'm saving you you daft brat. Cap it or I'll put you to sleep again." He hissed at her before trusting her enough to pull his dagger back out, wanting it in case she came at him but he felt the girl needed it more. "Take this. If she gets close- stab her." He figured the girl would know who- any she anyhow. He pushed himself up using the wall and stumbled forward a bit and hesitantly took a breath- mumbling a summon as he walked. ---------------------- The Dremora lord kept up its attack and was more then happy to keep fighting. "Are you prepared for your death?" He asked in a thick rattled voice layered with death and hatred. His glowing eyes on the girl- his back to Neve- he had moved in front however when he felt some thing else get close it shifted its stance to a Multics attack pose- waiting to see who was there. When a bit of the fog started to disparate Atrious became visible only behind him was another Atronach- an almost silver one. Its shape barely discernible against the grey fog. It was hot- he was sweating now- with it just over his shoulder- he had summoned it and the Dremora lord was still there- that was good. He didn't know if it was a multi summon or not- he was praying it was and he had been right. "Be gone- You can't win tonight." He stated clearly as the silver atronach flung two swift fire balls by the opponent- meant to intimidate not to kill just yet- that much was clear- the white fire was intense- usually making people back peddle with in the intense heat .

Neve hadn't anticipated Atrious showing up but when he did, she was left stunned by the rather beautifully colored Atronach behind him. The creature was dangerous looking, but the silvery and white fire it brought with it was eyecatching. She squirmed to get a look at Alva, who looked stunned by the mage having two magical beings out. The fire however made her cringe and back up like a cornered rat. "You threaten me? Have you forgotten I have the towns young.." She hissed and Neve gave a huff. The fire crackling however in the Atronach's hands did make her move another step back.

"You won't for long...Now tell me where they are or I'll burn you slowly..." he said his tone dead serious the Atronarch behind him looking edgey to get some action. ((the silver one--- is special... its a mother-ish guardian for him. He can only use it when he is actually scared for his life. ))He was wishing the Dremora would just slice her into three pieces and be done with it. He hated this part- it made him nervous and scared to talk to these things. He wished Neve could do the talking but it wasn't gonna do any good right now.

Alva looked visibly shaken by prospect of being burned alive. She looked at the Atronach and then at the Dremora. She knew she wouldn't be able to fight both, not this low on health and magic. She swallowed hard, considering her options. She could run away...but how far could she get? Her lord would kill her if she ran off without even a small catch. But this mage was serious. She could tell by the look on his face. "I tell you and I go free...correct?" She said, her shoulders knotted, since she wasn't sure he wouldn't just kill her now. She had a better chance running than she did fighting after all.

He watched her face then frowned," By free you mean I won't kill you-then yes- I won't kill you. However when I do track you down- I will bring you to the light with the people you have hurt... They need retribution for your crimes." He said this his tone dark, like his features. "Now speak before mother burns your flesh from your body." He said again his words sounding defensive however demented- he didn't rightly care what Neve thought at the moment- she had promised to accept him- now he could afford to be a bit more open about himself.

Alva gave him a glare but a wry smile was on her lips. When he tracked her down? Like that would ever happen. She would become nothing more than a ghost, like she had in other towns she had taken over. "Deal...there's a small cave outside of Morthal, less than a mile through the marsh. There you will find them, unharmed. They were useless to me anyways. Not enough energy..." She said before she took another step back, her eyes still on Atrious to test to see if he was going to kill her. She then turned, darting off towards the town exit. She barely made it a few feet before an arrow went through her back, just at the base of neck. She screeched but was out like a light when she hit the ground in a heep. "I made no promise." Neve growled lowering her bow with a glare on her face. She had been aiming for her head, but hell, at least she crippled her. "Check her, she isn't dead. But she will be if that wound isn't dressed. I'll let the towns folk deal with her how they want." She huffed attempting to get up but her legs slipped out from under her and she sat in the snow looking aggrivated. "Damn that crap you gave me works like a charm." She said with a low humorless chuckle though she looked exhausted from her energy being drained earlier which was why she was having trouble standing. Not that Neve would ever admit to being weak... She looked at the pretty colored Atronach, the one Atrious had refered to as.... 'Mother...' She blinked staring at the being with a bit of awe. He couldn't have honestly meant that right? This couldn't be his......there was no way that could even happen.....right? She looked to Atrious and was about to ask him a question but interrupted. "She wasn't lying...I could see the place in that weird dream she gave me." She said staring off at the woman with a rather shell shocked look.

When she spoke he felt almost put out that she had given up so easily. Yes he was nervous but hew anted her to deal some pain for his nerves. When she ran- he almost smiled when the arrow got her in the back of the neck. He turned his smile to Neve. "It was a paralytic... Here- its almost run its course.. let me help you."He ignored the crippled heep there in the snow and slipped an arm about Neve's waist hoisting her up more or less, taking her to a seat on the slightly lifted steps to the Jarl's. Then his eyes cast about to find the Jarl's daughter who was still against the side of the house- having watched the woman- Alva get hit with an arrow- the dagger still in her hands- white knuckled. "Child come inside- your mother will want to know your safe." He called to her wanting to let her know she was alright to come out now. He looked over to see the remnants of the Dremora lord- a small black daze dissipating and the Atronach having already disappeared. It only stayed as long as he was in fear- then it simply vanished.

Neve gave a bit of a grumble of something unintelligible when he said he would help her but she didn't protest to the help. She rather felt a small relief that he was willing to help her. When he sat her down she gave a light breath of relief to be able to sit. But Ingrod's state of quiet trembling did worry her. She gave a soft look to the girl as she peeked around the building and nodded lightly as she moved over to them. She was shaking but she looked alright enough to function. It always was hard to witness your first death and this was a traumatic night for the poor girl. "Can you handle things? I need a breather." She asked since she didn't have her legs quite steady enough to stand infront of the Jarl. Ingrod stuck close to Atrious still watching Alva as if she was afraid that she would get up again. A few guards showed up and went to collect the woman as Ingrod went inside to find her mother near the door almost on her way out. They hugged but the Jarl's eyes went to the open door where she saw Neve and Atrious. "You two, I want to know what happened..." She asked and Neve motioned to Atrious. "This guy got your culprit. It was the Bar maid." The Jarl's brow furrowed and she blinked. "Bar maid? We never had a bar maid..." She let go of her daughter briefly and went out into the snow seeing the woman there limply being collected by the guard. "I do not recognize her.." She looked to the two. "And the children?" "We know where they are, mother..." Ingrod said and the Jarl looked at Atrious and Neve. "Where?" "A cave just outside the city." The Jarl's eyes widened. "Where the wolves gather? It's not safe there. You-" She barked at Markus who had only just arrived. "Send your men and you all fetch the children. I do not want to lose any lives today." She snapped before looking to Atrious and Neve. Her look was serious and slightly hesitant. "May I speak with you both privately?" She asked, motioning in the door way.

Atrious was silent during this slight exchange not wanting to talk for fear the small feeling of lose that had flooded his chest when the silver one disappeared- it made him feel in command and comfortable- like a child in its mothers' arms. However when asked to be spoken to privately he nodded, helping Neve into the lodge going to the left following the Jarl into her bed chambers where they were alone. He set Neve down on a chair by the door- he stood next to her.

The Jarl was glad they had followed and when they were alone she swallowed hard and looked to them. "I must thank you first for you saving my daughter...and also I offer you payment for helping." She began but then paused a long moment, pacing a bit before she continued. "I do not know what your affiliations are. But I need to ask you a serious question." She looked to Atrious. "Your voice...I heard a shout echo over these plains in a language that hasn't been heard for centuries..." She said, "That is a very dangerous power to weild child..." She said making Neve raise a brow. Dragon language? What was this old bat talking about? "Sir, Do you know what it is? That power?" She began her expression unreadable.
