Atrious smiled at her in a nice way,"I'll be alright. It will just take time. Had some rough memories surface I'm working threw them is all." He gave her a soft touch of the arm to let her know it was time to get going. He mounted up and they made some more distance at a good pace that night. They got rooms at the inn and Atrious went to the local Shops- the one that sold potions of course- and used the alchemy station there. He had some herbs he knew needed to be mixed so they could set and get stronger before he used them. After mixing it he said good bye to the merchant then went to rejoin Neve at the inn- where he got himself a mug of mead to help him sleep.

Neve had let Atrious go about his shopping while she took to the bar scene at the inn. She was only out to have a little fun and ended up getting herself a nice group of people to atleast buy her drinks and speak of thei lives. Two were mercenaries for hire aparently and the other two were just travelers after different things. The last one was a bard, a stocky younger man who played the little lute he held like it was a part of him. He even began playing a few fun little tunes, most joking and playful. She let the men take to themselves when she saw Atrious was back and she slid out of her chair and went to go join him. She was only going on a light buzz at the moment, so she was roughly the same just a bit more happy. "I take it you found some things worth while?" She asked though turned when she heard the bard start on a song with a much different tone than light hearted. It was a somber song about the war going on between the Nords. She felt her smile loosen till she had to look at the table. "God what a mood kill. The kid is good but I can't stand sad songs." She said before she placed a head on her fist. "Did you know people are even talking about this dragon business here?" She finally muttered wanting to tell him but not loud enough to show she cared. She almost choaked on her mead when one man began speaking of the call let out by the greybeards.

He smiled when she joined him and snickered at her comment about a mood kill from the bard."Yes, I went to the herb shop and made some worth while potions- I even made money out of it..." He said handing her a nice sized bag of gold with a good weight," From my extra potions I didn't need...They sold for a high price apparently." When she muttered about dragons then about choked when he heard the grey beards being brought up in conversation he smiled. "Neve, You don't have to be so sensitive to things like that- Its an odd thing- every one will talk about it now a days..."

Though she was listening to Atrious, her ears strained to hear some of what the Nords were saying about these Greybeards and Dragons. Talks of High Hrothgar and the Dragonborn rising again came to her ears and upset a bit of a nervous flutter in her stomach. It was odd for her to hear of things that could possibly have a tie to her and Atrious. As a young adult, she never really cared much for the past she had forgotten. Infact she rarely thought on it. But mostly it was to hide the sort of childish longing she had to actually understand it. She wanted to know why she was left out in the cold for Khajitt to find, why she could freeze things and why in general she looked like very few of her elf bretheren. She knew who she was but not what and why and it bothered her. She glanced at Atrious when he spoke about her being sensitive and offered him a tight smile, that could have been misread as coquetish to those that didn't know her demeanor seemed to always revert back to some what of a flirt when something was bothering her, or when she was drinking. "Everyone?" She half whined teasingly, putting on an exhausted expression before resting her head against his arm with a huff. "You'd think they'd talk about something more prouctive like the weather or how many men they've slayed in this stupid war, knuckle draggers." She said, slightly narrowed eyes flicking up to meet his. She compared the nordic men to cave men as they joked and cojoled about who could be the next dragonborn and if he was in the town while they spoke, possibly one of their group. "Atrious that's alot of gold... can I use a bit of it tonight? I'll pay you back I promise." She asked, wanting another drink though she was pleasantly broke after her venture in town back in Winterhold.

When her head was lowered onto his arm with her exhausted expression he smiled down at her when she looked up. "Most Nords are..."However When she asked for some gold his brow furrowed and he leaned in towards her a bit more so no one else heard what he was going to say- if any one say it would look like 'lovers' talking to each other. "Neve- whats wrong?" He asked noticing her demeanor had changed it and it had bothered him a bit- he didn't mind the contact or the closeness but he did mind her change of subject and avoidance of him in a way. He was worried.

Neve looked at him with an arch of a brow and a rather strong look. If Atrious was stubborn, she could match him quite well. She sat up though that gave little room between them still. Her boundaries were already mixed up after learning her manners from a very open life style, but around those she trusted they were already very blurry lines. "May I have another drink first?... then I'll talk." She said, the question however was more assertive than a question should have been. But Neve on the other hand was damn near determined to get her way, since she hardly expected someone to challenge her since most times out of all she usually got her way...

He smirked a bit at her strong words and nodded ordering another one for both of them. When she got. The drink he stayed where he was really not minding where they were even though she moved to give them space. " well atleast your going to try to talk to me some... I feel like I do all th talking" he said as a joke hoping to make her feel better.

Neve let out a chirp of a laugh one that held a sarcastic edge. She found the thought of Atrious being more social then her, pleasantly amusing. "Oh really? Well if you insist...but I should warn you once you give me an inch I never shut up." She said before taking a pull of the sweet tasting mead. Her eyes went then to the people around her, blue grey eyes turning an almost steel color under the dim light of the hearthfire burning in the center of the inn. "I'm afraid." She said, the words soft at first but just loud enough that if he was really listening he could hear them. "After today, watching what only your voice could do. It became less of a game, less of a legend and more real." She shook her head letting her eyes roll to the cieling. "All the Nine Divines know I love feeling powerful....but to have something like that, that only a select few can wield, it makes it so much more dangerous." She said before letting the lip of the bottle drift slowly to her lips. "I don't understand how they find something like that fascinating....did you know they are saying the leader of the Stormcloaks shouted the High King to death? And yet they praise it?" She licked her lower lip briefly, a display of unease before she took another solid drink.

"When I was a kid- when my father taught me such powerful words I usually went off to cry by myself...I was scared of the pain I could inflict- the damage I could do- when I only wanted to get along in the world and earn my father's love...but on day he caught me crying," He started smiling when he began talking a bit more," When he caught me- he beat me so badly I actually used the shout against him-Which made him smile. It was an odd motion but after that I knew that he was trying to teach me that people will go out of their way to give me hell so Why not know how to protect yourself? He said trying to share a memory with her to help her see that he knew the feelings she was having only he had some one there to try to make it better he hoped it was helping a bit. He frowned a bit at the talk of the dead king and sighed, taking a deep swing before speaking again,"There are those who are born for greatness ya know... Some don't know it yet and are eventually thrown into it like an atronarch's fireball to a wolfs face... Fast- hot- and hard... There is nothing that can be done to change things but we need to find out- because if you are indeed who I think you might be Neve- then We could help each other all the more...As long as you know I'm there for you...and always will be." He said with a soft smile hoping hew as of some help at all. He felt a bit useless because he didn't know how to actually comfort people since he wasn't used to people interaction.

Neve didn't look to him however her focus was on Atrious. She listened with full attention since he rarely spoke about his father like this. It was interesting to hear, though it hardly comforted her till he got to the point of his story. She didn't think herself like Atrious, but after his words....could she not help but see some similarity? At least he understood her thoughts or tried to. That was more than most afforded her.... The second half however really hit home with her actually causing her to tense. She put down the bottle and looked to him, eyes softened to the point she may have appeared slightly on a more lost light. She was being honest with him, something she liked to claim she was, but hardly ever really was. But here he was, the socially awkward one, actually saying something comforting to her? Perhaps she was crazy as hell or drunk of her ass at this point, but she actually felt a pull inside of her, one that drew the sincerest of smiles from her. "Thank you, Atrious." She said before straightening, her long white blonde hair swaying against her mid back as she adjusted in her seat to her usual confidence. "Then this adventure can't be too bad hm? It will make for an exciting tale." She said before she leaned a bit closer to him so she could say the next part. "If you really belief this strongly in it, I don't mind speaking with these old men. It could be enlightening..." She said before she touched her lips briefly. "But no matter how cool it was, I refuse to breathe fire."

Atrious gave her a smile in return,"Oh so ice no problem-fire and its not a deal... Fine I'll breath the fire for you." He said a small joke with her since she was close to him and he didn't want to speak too loud but eh was glad he got a good smile out of her. He finished his mead then looked back at her," I think Its time to head off to bed- you need to met o help you there or do you want me to get you another bottle before I head in?" he asked not wanting to pushed her to bed but hew as tired- so he was heading in- wondering exactly what she wanted to do.

Neve snickered, her tongue poking between her teeth in a light giggle of sorts at his mention of breathing fire. It wasn't that she didn't find it fascinating, but something about the heat seemed so violent. Ice was also was deadly, but it was cold and an uncaring kind of pain. Fire held passion, feelings of vehemence and anger. For her it was too personal for her to delve into... She wouldn't tell Atrious that of course, he might find her bat crap nuts over that one. She placed the half finished drink down and rose with a little bit of a sway that she caught and rectified. "Fine fine, we've still got a long way to travel anyways. Besides, I can't let you have all the fun." She said, a bit of a tease at him wanting to sleep instead of enjoy the drink and company. She wouldn't hold it against him since mpst of the people were either drunk or annoying Nords. She went to head towards the back of the inn where her room was knowing Atrious wouldn't be ffar behind to head to his since he was tired.

Atrious watched her go and when her door closed he frowned- downing the rest of his mead. He had a feeling like she was hiding something but he wasn't sure. He went to his room and settled in because the next day was going to be hard- he assumed since it was the sunny season- only with snow so- it was going to be bright and refective... He hated that the day after he drinks. --- in the morning he woke up rather early and had a warm bowl of milk and ate some bread- however when Neve finally came out of her room he ordered her food and smile at her," good morning adventurer... I bring offerings of food." He said as a joke side he was in a good mood he was hopin she was.

Neve woke in a rather tender mood mostly because "sleep" for her had been another pale faced night of nightmarish scenes. She woke multiple times during to night from dreams of running towardnowhere in particular, from something that she couldn't see coming after her. She was running through a temple looking area, one made of beautiful creams and golds and an elegance that outmatched the temples in Markarth. The scene shifted very quickly to forests, then snow, then suddenly darkness, nothing. The dream ended in her fearful sobs before a pair of arms latched onto her, feeling as cold as death itself and as real as if someone were in the room with her, whispering in her ear words she didn't understand. She couldn't understand them even as she woke since she instantly seemed to forget them. By the time morning rolled around, the affects of last night were out of her system and she was at least able to get out of bed. She made her way tiredly down stairs, eyes puffy from lack of sleep and pale skin lacking a glow. She messed with her rather frizzy hair usually, since she had tried taking a bath to some how relax herself into sleep again. It hadn't worked quite that well. At sight of Atrious eating, her stomach gave the growl of a bear and she felt like she could swallow a deer. She sat down next to him, smirking at his offering joke. "Food? my hero." She said battering eyes in feign girlish glee. She took to the meal well and instantly it seemed to work to wake her and restore her more vivascious nature. "Yummy. Divines that's good." She said at the taste of a small sweet cake the the innkeeper had added since she had helped his alcohol sales quite alot the night before. She looked to Atrious as she sipped her watered down fruit juice. "So have you looked at the map? Where's the next stop?" She asked, might as well playing the part of an adventurer with a quest.

When she came down she looked a bit worse for wear but he ignored that knowing she had problems sleeping form time to time. When she ate like a horse- as was usual he smiled at her," That map? Yes I have looked it over briefly...We should be able to make it to Whiterun if we travel hard today. That will get us closer to Where we need to go- as well as to get some more rumors as to what we need to be doing.... make sense?" He asked as he picked up a salmon steak- taking a bit that took half of it off enjoying the seared taste. "I'm guessing you didn't; sleep well so if you want to sleep on the trip let me know... You can ride with me and you can sleep- and no I promise I won't do anything embarrassing to you while you sleep if you want to." He said with a smile knowing she was rather prideful and probably wouldn't take that offer but he put it out there just in case she wanted some sleep.
