Darcy my no longer be pulling her around like a rag doll anymore... but she was still being yanked form one place to the other. once he was sure it was clear he moved quickly. Lisarial on the other hand was having some trouble. she had just spent a good few century's locked up doing nothing. not only that but as a princess she had away's been denied the act. then there was the issue with her clothing... her shoes were soft calfskin pumps. her dress a shimmering taffeta with delicate lace and stitching. More or less like her her dress was not the type for running about. her shoe's were done and one heal was gone. " stop... " she panted as she tied to hold her skirts high enough not to tread all over them and pop any more seams. as for her shoe's she was trying to keep them on her feet. " Dar-cy.. " she gasped running into his back as he stopped where the crowd seemed gathered to listen closely to what they were trying to say. she had to grab him to support her self for a second before grabing her skirts were she needed to,
" Darcy... my shoe's... my skirt... if .. if .. " she took a deep breath trying to get her calm back, " they are not for running Darcy... please... before i become the only bear foot princess in the history of princess's. " she managed to complain with out raising her voice. she was still fearful and mindful of the pursuers. yet... she did not want to be all but naked before them either.... " Darcy... seriously.. do you think some one who was sitting around literally for 12 century's to be able to keep this up?"
Darcy wasn't paying much mind to Lisarial at the moment, mostly because his fixation was on the crowd of people that threatened not only him, but his brother. Mages already were disliked in this kingdom and few knew the Averin family because of the royal family dismissing them quite some time ago after the fall of the prior kingdom. Darcy was known as himself, not his family, which helped some in the grand scheme of not being target practice for guards arrows or hung for 'witchery' as some ignorants referred to it as. Mages were very different from a 'witch', especially because of their intent. Mages could do good and service. Dark magic was forbidden, well at least to the families of any honor and self respect. There were some rogue bands here and there that practiced actual sick things that would make your stomach churn. Here, they considered mages all the same, capable of more danger than was actually factual.
He tensed when a rock shattered a window, his anger getting the better of him enough that his palms glowed and smoke rose from them. He looked about ready to charge in and set the crowd ablaze when suddenly Lisarial's pleas distracted him. He looked at her with annoyance, but paused at her disheveled state. He hadn't realized all this running was bad on her, especially since most people he traveled with were fit and primed for adventure. She was short and squishy looking, too cutesy in that dress and slippers to be travel ready. They would have to change that. A horse maybe, or some better clothing...
He frowned at her final comment that was a tad sarcastic and he gave her an almost condescending once over. "Got it. Not sure what you want me to do about that short of carrying you around, your highness." He said before shaking his head to offset his slight twinge of guilt for teasing her. After all, there was merit to what she was saying. "We're going to stop and get you something better the next chance we get. How do you expect to go after a demon in that in the first place?" He said, gesturing to her frilly dress that looked too old and dated to be of this generation. It almost look complicated to wear in all honesty.
Darcy it seemed could care less if she was able or not. his complete disregard was irking but she did understand that he had other maters. on the same side of the coin though she had an urgent problem herself. if he was worried about being seen know what would happen if he dress gave up and left her naked... well that would be more then just one problem. she shuddered thinking those thoughts and clenched her fists.
" i'm sorry the dress we was given as a gift is not to your liking Darcy." she said her eye's squinting a little in her jumbled set of emotions. she didn't know if she was mad... or what. he was once again looking down on her, but she was getting worn out with all the running. she would let it slid for now. the dress would be a problem though.... she didn't know how to get out of it... " there is nothing wrong with my dress we just need some one to fix the seams that have come undone... " she whispered rather loud. " i don't want a new one... and ... i can walk on my own you cant simply pick me up and carry us... you know how wrong that is.. who are we too you that you should hold me so close?" she asked her face a mix of confused worried and angry.
Darcy knew his tone came off rude and felt a bit bad about it. But only a bit. He had a tendency when he got caught up in things to translate his feelings elsewhere. He wasn't like his brother, quietly hiding his feelings till he did something stupid like running off. Besides, what other choice did he have in this situation? His brother's life was in danger and she was worried about a dress--well when he did look at it, her dress did look torn at the seam. More rough treatment would lead to a bit of an unpleasant surprise for her and a show for the men of this village. He watched her eyes squint, making her look wrathful despite her size. Threatening was never something he would consider her, so this was almost funny. He never said he didn't like the dress. It was an interesting piece that didn't show off enough in his opinion. Honestly she looked like a wealthy nun in it. When she got catty about fixing it and saying that she didn't want a new one, he gave her a confused look. Didn't women like to hear they were being bought new things? He tilted his head and his eyes widened at her question about that comment about carrying her and who he was to her that he could hold her close. Was she mad about the alley thing? It wasn't like he wanted her close or to even do anything to her. He wanted to roll his eyes but knew this wasn't something to shove off. If she was upset about it, it wasn't his position to ignore it. After all he would have to deal with her as he traveled. "It was an offer because you seemed to be having trouble. If it comes to an effort to keep you from ending up at the wrong end of their pitch forks then I'll do what needs to happen. Till then walk. I couldn't care less" He said ignoring the question about what she was to him. She was a pain in his ass, but one he owed and was bound to help. "Well we can't exactly run off and find a seamstress at the moment. I think Dimitri learned a mending spell from Mother. Will that make you happy?" He said, since he wasn't sure how to handle her clothes dilemma since he didn't have troubles with dress. He liked to dress simply since it was easy to replace and easier to carry. He had left a few of his changes of clothes at the inn. Nothing important so he wasn't thinking it was worth it. He could easily replace it all.
" well.. " she started before closing her eyes and taking a deep breath and smiling a bit tense while looking up at him. " no need to offer such things unless its of dire need or cause" she stated trying to be as objective as possible. as well as not wanting to put more stress on things as there was already. " look... i.. " she closed her eye's and averted her slightly red face. " we cant get out of the dress... we don't know how " she mumbled. " so... just fixing it is fine... it makes us happy. " she said keeping her face turned as to keep Darcy from seeing her. " i-we do appreciate the sentiment though." smiling faintly she shrugged. " i'm not.... angry we are just frustrated... cant you understand that much in the least? " she questioned him looking up at him as if to search for answers for more than she had asked.

Dimitri was happy that Mez followed since he hardly wanted to fight to get her into the back streets. He moved along the back street, ducking behind stores and avoiding people. It was hard to avoid notice of people however when he had a Fey warrior with him. When a crowd came by, mentioning his name, he shoved Mezedonne into a shop doorframe, easing out of sight. "Sorry, I don't want them to see me. They'll hurt me. Us if they think your helping me." He said, giving her a concerned look before he pulled away and headed for another area. He pushed past a crowd of people passing by to head to the market, them heading in the opposite direction. "Hey that's him!" He heard someone shout and he felt a hand grab the collar of his robe. The man that grabbed him hauled him back, slamming him into the pavement. Dimitri saw stars briefly, his head spinning from the pain of being thrown back. "We're going to teach you lying mages who has the real power." A man that was with him shouted, making Dimitri gulp and quickly fiddle for his belt to see if he had something to get him out of there. ~~~ Darcy gave her a frown at her comment, confused why she was suddenly being cordial with him. He assumed it was because she had no choice and was having to be friendly to save her hide. He was alright with no yelling and at least being able to have an honest talk with her. That didn't stop him from smirking when she said something he didn't expect. "Did you just say that you're trapped...in a dress? As in you need help getting out of it?" He said unable to help his chuckle at the end at the very idea. Maybe it was mean but it was a bit hilarious to hear. It was a pick up line in the making, but he had a sense that she was a bit too much of a nun to realize that. Please, did this woman actually not know how to dress herself? He shook his head before sobering and nodding. "Sorry that was an ass move. I'll get it fixed. And don't worry. I don't get my feelings hurt." He said before suddenly a bang came from the alley nearby and he looked up to see a familiar, almost mirror image of himself take off in the opposite direction. "Dimitri!" He called out to his brother that took off in the opposite direction with a woman that looked imposing. Was she chasing him? Was she out to harm him? His panic rose at the idea and he quickly took off in that direction. However, his loud shout alerted the crowd waiting nearby and ushered a few of them to take up chase. He cursed under his breath and noticed that Lisarial was having an issue keeping up. In fact she looked to be struggling, to the point the crowd was catching up with her. He slowed a little and rather suddenly picked her up into a wedding carry. He was surprised to find how little she weighed but it still was not easy to run with her bouncing in his arms and having to carry his staff. He gave her a grunt before quite literally tossing her over his shoulder. "No offense Princess. But we need to go and your slowing me down." He called to her, knowing she would be pissed but he had more things to worry about at the moment.

Mezedonne had been doing well to walk however being shoved into a door way made her a bit uncomfortable however it seemed he really was in trouble if he was going out of the way to hide now. She was moving on as they avoided groups of humans however she heard him gasp a bit as she turned around to see a larger man had him on the ground looking angry. She made a split second decision, thinking about how this was going to go and decided to save some blood and kept her sword sheltered. She grabbed the man by the shoulder and flung him backwards- only it seemed she wasn't gentle enough and flung him into a stack of barrels- shattering them and she wasn't too sure if the man was going to get back up for a while. She stood over Dimitri in a more hostile stance and decided to get him out of here she was going to treat him as prisoner, more of a con but if it saved the boy who could speak her tongue so be it. "Prisoner-mine." She stated very cut and dry in human tongue to the group before them, a hand on her hilt. She would cut them down- she wouldn't even bat an eye at it either if they challenged her. "He is to face execution by the fey for crimes committed by his forefathers." She stated however it was in Fey so she doubted they would understand it but it was a way for her to get her point across that she didn't speak much human slurry. She didn't care but it would have been nice to have a proper conversation- she ahd been dying to have one for a while. She did however say the word 'execution' in human so they woudl understand he was going to be punished- but they didn't need to know it was a lie.

Darcy once again gave her a frown before he spoke up, "Did you just say that you're trapped...in a dress? As in you need help getting out of it?" she could hear his slight chuckling before he sobered up. she could almost hear his thoughts... ""princess... cant even dress her self... pft*"" she grumbled a little under her breath. it wasn't because she had not wanted to learn... she simply had not been aloud to.... Darcy seemed to pick up on her apprehension and spoke once again, "Sorry that was an ass move. I'll get it fixed. And don't worry. I don't get my feelings hurt." He said before suddenly a bang came from the alley nearby and he looked as she did towards the uproar to find a familiar, almost mirror image of him take off in the opposite direction.
"Dimitri!" He called out to the man as he with a woman that looked imposing. in fact she looked very fay to her... it had been a very long time since she had seen her fay cousins... Was she chasing Damitri? why was a fay this far from the vial?
However, Darcy's loud shout alerted the crowd waiting nearby and ushered a few of them to take up chase. as Darcy cursed they both started running once again for there lives.... oh goodness... would she still have a shred of lace left to cover her body when they finally stopped... would she even make it to a stopping place. her fatigue was getting the best of her slowing her down. her legs hurt she could feel the burn in her muscles. Lost in thought all she could to was gasp out in surprise when Darcy suddenly picked her up into a wedding carry. " AH! DA.... Darcy.... " she froze in shock being once again held so close against his deceivingly well defined chest. she shook her head hating that her mind went were it should not be going... what shocked her more was when he suddenly hoisted her over his shoulder."No offense Princess. But we need to go and your slowing me down." she grunted getting a stomach full of shoulder suddenly. was she that heavy? she pouted and struggled to cling to him as he ran.

Dimitri flinched when one man was flung backwards, watching Mezedonne level a stack of crates and barrels with the man's body. It was quite a show of strength, one that sent the other man back a few steps and people around watching the spectacle quaking in their boots. The man looked obstinate, but his body language spelled that he wouldn't fight this Fey woman on rights to Dimitri's hide. He had no personal vendetta against the Mage. He was just along for the problem starting and violence. "Ah--sorry ma'am you can have it." He spat at Dimitri before backing off. Dimitri got to his feet and dusted himself off, moving closer to Mezedonne. "You didn't mean that whole execution stuff right?" He asked quietly in his broken Fey, his face a bit pale at nearly escaping one near death experience too many today. Besides they needed to get out of there and the closest hide away place was the forests around the town. ~~~ Darcy was glad Lisariel wasn't throwing a fit over being carried. He had to get her and him out of there safely so they could find his brother. He maneuvered around all of the back alleys, avoiding rocks being thrown and frantic people that got in his way. He was wearing down from all of the running himself, his own pace slowing from all the sudden stops and jerking turns he had to make. Finally he came to a split in the streets, one that lead further away from the town towards farm land and another that looped back to the city. In a show of some skill, he turned, Lisariel still over his shoulder and slammed his staff into the pavement. Muttering a few words in the old language that held a certain power to them. An ethereal fire erupted from the street, scorching the pavement and creating a wall of flame behind them. He could hear the shouts and cries of people stuck behind the blaze and being blinded by the smoke. He gave a self sure smirk before running ahead and carrying Lisariel with him. They made it as far as a neighboring farm before he had to stop, Darcy placing Lisariel down as he puffed and gasped for air. He leaned against the side of the barn they were by, his eyes darting to their surroundings to make sure the coast was clear. Sweat was dripping from his face, showing that the exertion from running and the magic use didn't sit well with long distances. "Shit...missed him by an inch." He breathed, hitting the barn side with a heavy punch, smoke actually rising from his clenched fist that unintentionally glowed like hot coals from his anger. Those villagers would pay if they harmed his brother, for daring to chase him down like he was comparable to that impossible little Mage. Now he was stuck running like a scared rat through the streets, lugging around a princess in a tattering gown--- Darcy heard a clatter and something breaking nearby, making his head snap in the direction of the front of the barn. Around the corner, standing a few feet from them was a young farm boy, maybe no older than 8. He looked wide eyed and uncertain of the strangers on his father's land, having even dropped his pale of eggs he had just gotten done collecting. "Wh-who are you people?" He said defensively, looking almost ready to bolt for help.

She didn't really understand what was going on but when they moved back and Dimitri got close to her and not on the ground again she figured it worked. hearing his choppy response she smiled over her shoulder at him. "No, it was just something to sound imposing so they would leave." She stated back in clear fey, hoping he understood. She however turned her body more directly facing him and nodded, speaking choppy human sentences. "We head Now. Out, Gone." She said however she wasn't too sure those were the right words. She decided to speak Fey afterwards hoping she didn't sound like a completely impaired persons. "We should head out, Its dangerous to linger here." her eyes went over the people still around watching them almost to see what happened. She didn't like that but she wasn't going to make them go- she didn't need to they were leaving after all.

They ran down what seemed every back alley in the village, avoiding rocks being thrown and fanatic people. suddenly stopping and jerking suddenly Lisarial moans wondering what was happening now... that and her stomach was all jumbled up with all the bouncing. as Darcy turns and seemingly evaluated his surroundings he made a show of brandishing his staff and slamming it into the pavement and uttering some of old language that oozed a sort of power. An ethereal fire erupted from the street, scorching the pavement and creating a wall of flame behind them. Hearing their pursuers discourage behind the blaze Darcy seemed satisfied and continued to run once again. When they were finally in the middle of no were Darcy finally let her down while puffing and gasping. she frowned feeling he was being a little to theatrical about it... its not like she was that heavy.... honestly... she wasn't... right? Lisarial rubbed her stomach that hurt from all the jumbling of Darcy's run. "Shit...missed him by an inch." He breathed, hitting the barn side with a heavy punch, smoke actually rising from his clenched fist that unintentionally glowed like hot coals from his anger. Lisarial jumped called out slightly at the sudden pounding clutching her fists to her chest. Hearing a clatter Lisarial turns seeing a young boy a few feet away, wide eye'd and weary. the eggs he was collecting were upon the ground as a question at the for front of his agenda. "Wh-who are you people?". Lisarial blushed knowing that she was more unseemly a sight as ever. " um, hello boy. " she said trying to smile sweetly and hold her dress together at the same time. " I am Lisarial and this is my... traveling... companion " she managed to say. she was going to say servant... but she had a feeling that Darcy would have a problem with that. even if it was the best way to avoid questions and such. than again... who new whom she was or that the fact that they were traveling unattended was taboo...

Dimitri looked relieved to hear he actually wasn't in trouble with Mez and her people, though he assumed he wouldn't be. He had never had problems with the Fey and his mother was well respected as a scholar in some circles of Fey culture. Dimitri took after her love for history and often read his mother's books, hence why he knew the little Fey he did. "I couldn't agree more." He said as he went ahead, sticking close to Mezedonne. The crowd parted for them, some spitting at his feet and other's looking peeved that they didn't get to hang him themselves. Dimitri knew this town had very little love for mages, that had been clear in the new kings rule...Hence why his family worked for foreign kingdoms and stayed out of sight around here. All except his brother...He shook off thoughts of Darcy and his fame, turning his attention back to escaping. He caught sight of the forest path not to far ahead, next to a hunting lodge that would have horses. He had enough money to maybe buy a horse, since they would need to leave in a hurry. ~~~ The little boy looked from Darcy, who looked annoyed, to the nice woman who was smiling sweetly at him. Both looked like they had been through hell and honestly, the boy wasn't sure what to make of them. Childhood curiosity made him stop from running however and he inched towards them. "Funny name." He said with a bit of a frown, which drew a raised eyebrow from Darcy. "And I suppose you have something better, pip-squeak?" The boy gave Darcy an annoyed look at being called pip-squeak. "My name is Lucas, old man!" Darcy rolled his eyes at the kid, though he was peeved by the old man comment. "Look kid, run along and play. We won't be here long." He said as he made a shooing motion at the child, straightening his shirt that had ruffled from carrying Lisarial. The boy got a good look at her dress and wondered just what this pretty lady was doing with a mean loud mouth. She looked out of sorts, him a traveler and her a girl of standing. Was she being hurt? His mother told his sister that a girl in town was hurt by a man. Maybe she needed help? "You look tired ma'am." He said, coming forward and taking the end of her dress. "And your dress looks messed up--" "Kid, I mean it. Go back to your parents before we all get in trouble." He said and the boy gave Darcy a bit of a confused look. What did this man mean they would get in trouble? "Lucas! Dinner!" Lucas heard his mother calling for him and he looked back towards the house. He hummed a moment before looking to the two people. "If your in trouble Momma can help. She likes to help." He said, looking a bit worriedly to Lisarial. "And she can fix your dress. Come on." He said and Darcy gave a huff. "No." The kid ignored Darcy's negative response and looked to Lisarial since she was the only one he really cared about getting an answer from.

They headed to a hunter's lodge where he got a horse it seemed, she refused one however, never needing to buy something when she already had one. "I have one already." She said before waiting for him to head outside into the wooded area there, she muttered some fey words in an almost sing song voice, having a rather large deer come from the brush. It gave a snort, and a glare at Dimitir before walking casually over to Mezedonne, turning so she could throw her saddle bog over its' back and swing her leg over. her helmet was in her bag with a few other things of hers and she had no problem with riding deer- they were just slightly smaller then horses- if not faster however. "Where to Dremetree?" She asked her tongue getting tied on his name again- since she ahd problems with her I's.

The little boy looked from Darcy, who looked annoyed, to Lisarial making her smile all the more sweetly. "Funny name." He said with a bit of a frown, which drew a raised eyebrow from Darcy. Lisarial's face clouded over only slightly as she hid the prick from the comment. " its fay" she whispered more to her self then as an answer.
"And I suppose you have something better, pip-squeak?" She looked up in surprise hearing Darcy grumble, was he defending her? "My name is Lucas, old man!" Darcy rolled his eyes at the kid, and Lisarial giggled feeling tired to her bones. the two seemed to be fighting but it was a relief to see Darcy relax in a way.
"Look kid, run along and play. We won't be here long." Darcy stated before straightening his shirt that had ruffled from carrying her. The boy's curiosity seemed to get the better of him as he got a good look at her dress and wondered just what the situation was. Lisarial was sorta spacing out when the kid once again piped up. looking at him once again she listened earnestly to the boy. "You look tired ma'am." He said, coming forward and taking the end of her dress. "And your dress looks messed up--"
" oh... well its... been a long day" she said lightly looking to Darcy slightly unsure of what to do having never been in such a situation. "Kid, I mean it. Go back to your parents before we all get in trouble."Darcy said and the boy gave Darcy a bit of a confused look. the boy may not know but lisaral did... mixing her lot with the boys could be bad for the boy and his family later on. they could be hurt because of her....
Lisarial gave her best smile letting her face light up as she knelt down and put her hands on the boys shoulders. she had decided to protect the boy. " thank you so much Lucas, but i have a very important task to give you. " she said. " you see i'm a princess and Darcy... well right now he is the best knight i could find. We are on a very important mission right now, and i need you to keep it a secrete from every one even your mama okay?" she smiled sweetly and put a hand on the the kids head waiting for his reply.

Dimitri accepted the stead they provided him and gave the coin they needed. He was a bit put off that Mezedonne seemed to not like the idea, but he could do little else. He couldn't walk long distances and didn't like the idea of trapping through a forest with people after him. At least with a horse he could get to the next town over faster. He looked up from his horse when she whistled, his face scrunching in confusion of what would come out of the woods. When a stag emerged his mouth fell open, fascination swirling through his eyes. "So the myths were true! I mean I read in a collection of tales that fey tamed wildlife, but that is--" He babbled but then remembered her english was poor and that he wasn't speaking fey. He cleared his throat and pulled out his book, analyzing it a moment before he spoke again. "I like your mount, Mez." He said even using a shortened version of her name for the time being. When she asked him where they were going in her funny little way of pronouncing his name, he clicked his tongue and pressed the horses sides to make him move forward. "Um well the next town is safer for now. I actually have to decide my next move after this...I didn't expect to be homeless today actually..." He said, looking back at the town a bit sadly since his things were still in the shop but not enough of it to really bother him. He perked up though since he had his staff with him and he was happy he didn't lose that. It and its twin were crafted from their grandfathers staff and were very important to his family. His brother had the other staff and in a way this was a way he matched his brother in some capacity other than looks. ~~~ Darcy wasn't happy she humored the child, but at the same time he felt she handled it well. The child lit up when she spoke to him, even confiding a secret that could very well wind her up in a very bad position. Lucas looked her over before looking to Darcy, almost looking skeptical before he gave a nod. When she touched the boy's hair, Lucas gave her smile. "Okay. I can keep a secret." He told Lisarial since she seemed nice enough to warrant it. "Lucas!" A woman called again, this time sounding annoyed. Darcy smirked at the sound, reminded of his own mother and her scolding when he and his brother were out playing too far from home. It wasn't safe to be a mage of their blood line anymore in this kingdom. He wouldn't put it past the king to have children harmed for the sake of keeping his empire. Darcy kept his opinions quiet, his mind still trying to pick apart her knight comment. He wasn't a knight and he wasn't just the best she could find. He was the greatest she would ever find. She would realize that after they got her what she wanted and this stupid promisory mark was gone. Lucas gave a groan and ran back towards the house, looking frustrated that his mother was being annoying. Before he disappeared around the corner however, he gave the two a wave before running off. When the kid was gone, Darcy gave Lisarial a look, one that was slightly annoyed. "You know that kid is going to tell everyone to the neighboring village he met a princess." He said, before shaking his head. "At least no one will believe him. Come on, we've got walking to do. We have to catch up to my brother before sun down. I won't lose that sneaky little idiot again..." He said, before turning on his heels and leaving her standing there as he went ahead and walked towards a path that lead back towards the forests. He was sure she would follow, since she had no choice.

Mezedonne was a little confused why he was going on in gibberish towards her-though she assumed he forgot she couldn't speak well. When he finished with his book, he spoke properly in Fey for the most part however his little nick name for her made her nod, seeing as it was easy to say for him. "Next town, got it." She said in human tongue, he was going to teach her human and if he wished she would teach him Fey. She would help him, since he asked- she wan't overly object since it seemed this boy needed protection and she wasn't doing anything important.

As the boy finally ran off she sighed in relief. she was glad the boy left with out further investigation. she looked down at her ill fated shoe's and could fell her wiriness consume her remaining energy. he probably would not be believed if he spoke up anyway... she was a ghost princess after all... Lisaral of Mesothelioma was no longer a part of this living world. she closed her eye's sadly as she tried to gather her remaining self back up again. "At least no one will believe him. Come on, we've got walking to do. We have to catch up to my brother before sun down. I won't lose that sneaky little idiot again..." Darcy's next words mirrored her own thoughts and made her smile a little. she shook her head and moved her heavy feet after him. he undoubtedly would toss her back over his shoulder other wise... or worse leave her there alone. and one night in the forest was enough for her to never want to do it again. her body ached every were and her legs screamed at her to stop... just for a little bit but she saw it as just punishment. she was a walking curse after all. she looked at Darcy suddenly feeling guilty. could she really force him into this situation. sure he was an asshole... but some how she couldn't help but feel... some of the goodness that Delorian had shown her all those years ago... was there inside him too.... and if it was how could she be so cruel to curse him as well. to put him in such a situation.. could she really put any one in that situation. she her self did not want to be here... to be cursed by the Azure Demon Astoroth. to live out her remaining time knowing all was gone. and she alone was a ghost of a time long passed and dead. was she really still alive... was she ho haunting Delorians descendants..... ? she sighed lost in thought , all the things that have happened up un-till now... was it her curse... a punishment for not being a good princess... " AH!" Lisarail suddenly cried out gasping in shock as she lunged forward tripping on a tree root and falling onto her hands and knees. the stinging sensation in her knees made her moan out in pain before she started to struggle back to her feet. she had to get back up. this was only be beginning after all right? she had to see this through. she had to finish it. she had to... " sorry.. " she laughed nervously not even bothering to look up at Darcy knowing she would only see his retreating back. " i'm so clumsy.. "

Dimitri watched Mezedonne leave ahead of him and went to catch up to her. As his horse trotted along with her deer, he gave the woman a once over glance. She seemed very tense, or maybe it was pride that made her look almost war like? Her build wasn't bulky and she still held a femininity. She knew from the display in the market though that she could kick ass, even with the rather pretty Fey features. "So Mez, um what brought you to this town?" He asked, his Fey still a little off but well enough that she could understand him. They would have a bit of travel and he at least wanted to get to know the woman that was keeping him alive. ~~~ Darcy winced when she cried out, his body tensing from the suddenness of the sound. He wanted to roll his eyes and turned to scold her for being slow, but he paused when he saw the rather pitiful display. She had scraped her hands and knees in falling and looked a bit frail at the moment. It definitely wasn't helping that she was in clothing that restricted her and her shoes were pitiful for walking. She would probably get blisters from the lack of support or real coverage. He cursed his better side that was showing sympathy for her and took a few steps back, closing the space between them. "I suppose it's to be expected. You royal types aren't used to hard work and travel, yeah?" He said and extended his hand in offering to he. It was a slight show of solidarity. He was there to help her, despite being stuck in this situation and in debt to her. "Besides, I'm used to worse with my brother." He said with a smirk to himself. When he helped her up, he gave her an almost teasing look. "I could carry you again if you prefer?" He said almost considering if that would be easier. The girl did look tired and they still had quite a bit of walking before they would be able to rest again...

Glancing over at him she shrugged. "No reason really. Passing through to find more work." She stated back easily to him glad for once that she could have a good conversation in her home tongue. She missed it greatly, and it was obvious by how she was encouraging him to speak in it, instead of his mush mouth human language. "I've been a 'mercenary' for a few years now, with random groups- usually traders who pay well." She said to him however the word Mercenary was in human since it was a complex word in her tongue- since they held no official word for such since it wasn't needed. She did a check in front of her before looking back over at the boy. "Why? Do I frighten you?" She asked more in a way to figure out what brought on the questions.
