Talks that night went as expected, mostly a lot of yelling and people being up in arms over the losses today. Instead of continuing to argue, Nina stayed silent next to Ava and Nathan, a soldier that had switched sides after the Chancellor's fall. He had once been the one to bring Victoria's intentions to light to the rebellion group, since that had been his reason for going awol. They were offered few opportunities to really come to an agreement of what to do, that was till morning came and news was delivered of the Chancellor's actions. The group was alive in conversation again, curses and angry rants ensuing at the Chancellor's call to action. Nina let the table erupt into further chaos before she stood, slamming her hand on the table. "Quiet! We can argue over who's fault this missed mission was later...For now we have to act fast." She said before motioning to the table. "All of you have friends and family that are now in danger. We need to get them out of the city, somewhere safe where she can't touch them. As for this televised event, we need to also work on stopping her broad cast. Now, does anyone here have any connections to the tv stations? If we intercept her broad cast and make our voices known, she won't have time to sway the public. Agreed?" She barked to the rom, making a few fall silent while others argued against the specifics. Nathan's eyes went to the table before he gave a solid huff, rising to his feet as well. "I second the idea. What better way to piss Victoria off than to cut her off? I don't want to give her the satisfaction of harming our soldiers families either." The table was quieter at that, especially because none really thought that she could be that heinous to target those outside of the conflict. However, as a tactician, Nina saw the benefit. Crush the spirit of your enemy's cause and you won the war...

Ava was quiet as she texted small things to Maria over parts she needed to know. When the information came in about the intentions- there was a space in the texting- instead she called. Ava nodded as she answered being told to be put on speaker phone. She called the group to attention as she put it on speaker phone. "Greetings. Its M." She said however her voice was a little distorted by a program on her phone. "I have a member on the top news channel that she will undoubtedly be using. Focus on the families- if we have our families safe we can fight easier. "Nina- I want you to go to the news station and see if you can sway her pet. Nate-Please focus on regrouping our forces so we can figure out what to use to make our next strike. She is gathering her generals- we should do the same soon." She stated over the phone waiting for a response since she knew the information and had time to think about it unlike them.

When Maria's voice came over the speaker, most people shut up since she had some say in the group. Even Nina looked up from the others and to the phone, her expression curious. She was glad Maria could join them, but wished she had been able to be there in person. Nina, Nathaniel, and Ava were strong voices in the main council that made a lot of the strategies and judgement calls, but they needed all voices involved to account for all angles and solutions to a problem. Nina was rather surprised she had all this information together this quickly, enough so that the other men and women there weren't quick to interrupt. They all agreed they needed to secure families and get them to safety. Perhaps a base in another city could be of use? She noticed a few men at the other end talking, knowing they were working out a quiet evacuation plan just for that reason. Her attention went then to the phone in surprise when she was asked to talk to the chancellor's pet. She couldn't mean the dingy pop star right? Or was she meaning that general that tried to kill her? She must have meant the pop star, the one that was like the walking advertisement for enhancements. She hated the man and he annoyed her to the point she couldn't even stomach his music. Why was she the one that had to talk him into joining their cause? Nate's eye brows raised some at the order to start gathering Intel on her general/ troop movements and to start getting ready for another assault. He was one of the only ones at the table with sir rent military experience, especially under Victoria. He knew the women's commanding style and knew that her generals, especially the man currently at the head of her council, was just as ruthless as she could be. When she was done and waiting for a response, Nina spoke up, sounding a bit unsure. "What would targeting her pet do for us? The thing is loyal and almost completely mech at this point--" "It's a morale booster for Vicotria to have an idol on her side. It's pure marketing for the her enhancements movement. They used the same thing on us during the war by showing off soldier's who were given the enhancements to fix their injuries or missing limbs." He said, remembering the talk around the barracks and the excitement that followed when Victoria had supplied the wounded loyal to her with free prosthetics to pay them for their service. Nate fortunately enough was saved from having to accept that offer...after seeing what that bitch did to Domonic...well it already solidified his choice to leave her movement. Nina gave Nathaniel a small nod before she looked to the room. "Skinner and Rolalnd can handle organizing the families for evacuation and hiding. As for the pet, I will get on trying to persuade him." Nina said, drawing a smirk from Nathaniel who could see she was bothered by the task. "I'll get together with the reinforcements coming in tomorrow with Ava. You up for a little recon later?" He asked the girl near him, knowing that she was a pretty face and soldiers were more willing to brag to a pretty face in a bar than to a deserter.

Maria heard Nina's words but sighed, pulling the phone away a second to think quickly. She briefly heard Nate fill her in on some more propaganda she used before. Her ear back tot he phone she listened to her friend speak, Nina naming a few others to work on plans for the families. "Alright. I'll work on getting more information about Victoria's movements and plans. I will also speak to my friend about the news channel- perhaps having a power failure during the address or a glitch in the sound-you never know with the wires now a days. Everyone please be safe. And keep up the good work!" She said before clicking the phone shut and letting out a breath to help relive some stress.
Ava looked over to Nate and smiled at him. "Of course. You know I love a man in uniform." She said with a laugh since it was a joke there since she was the first to volunteer for anything on recon with the military. "I'll check in with Maria first- then I'll head in tomorrow- Lord knows she will be with her brother so she won't be on contact directly- so contact me if you have questions." She said with a slightly louder voice for the group letting them know that if they needed Maria they had to go through her. --------- About an hour passed before Maria went back to her brothers' hospital room after getting a call about him having to be put under since he was fighting the doctor. She thought it was cute but came in to sooth him into staying. He was stubborn but with some coaxing he would stay.

The group agreed eyes facing each other since the tension in the room was quite palpable. They had a window of opportunity and they had to take it...Nate retired to his home on the north side of the city, taking Nina home on his way since she seemed to be a bit out of it. When he stopped at the old garage, he locked the door before she could just skate out without talking. "What's got you so bothered?" He asked her, getting a small nonchalant look from Nina. "Nothing." He rolled his eyes, knowing better than to buy that half-assed lie. "Wrong answer. I was in special ops, Nina. Interrogations and spotting liars comes with the territory sweety so try harder." He said, which received him a rather flippant roll of her eyes. "I just don't understand how people can support this evil creature...We shouldn't even be at war like this." Her words made Nate sigh, though he nodded along with them. He agreed with her, but that was the way of the world and people who were used to dictators. When one came along that was persuasive and ruled with a power that was unshakable, people gravitated towards it. It was impossible to oppose her with full support...that was why they needed to cut the snakes head off now, before it could coil to strike. "I get that...but thank God we are here to stop her...right?" He said, giving her a softer smile before he unlocked the door and shooed her out to get some sleep. They had a big day tomorrow... ~~~ Lyric woke to the sound of a banging on his door that sounded urgent. He sat up, looking disheveled at best, his eyes narrowed like a annoyed child. He thankfully was alone at the moment, the diva having left a while ago to go back to her manager no doubt. They never stayed long, just the way it was supposed to be after all. Lyric got out of bed, slipping on a pair of sleeper pants, when his manager came barging in, catching the poster off guard. "Dammit Nigel! Don't just kick my door in." He snapped, getting a look from the man that was annoyed to put it nicely... "You are running late, Lyric. Didn't you get my text?" Lyric blinked and quickly grabbed his phone off the nightstand, finding literally 20 texts from Nigel. The final one said something about the Chancellor, that he was to be meeting with her later that morning. "Shit! No I didn't. Let me throw something on--" "No time! I had the team get something together in the limo. Now she's expecting you to be alert and ready. I swear if you are hung over I will--" "I'm good. Just get me some coffee and something starchy and we'll be peachy alright?" He said, throwing on a shirt and sunglasses at least since he would be headed out into public. The paparazzi stalked him on a daily basis and couldn't be caught unawares...When they got down to the car port, he slipped into the limo and found the outfit they requested he wear. It was less glamorous and simply was an expensive suit, one in whites and blues to match the theme of his hair and eye color now it seemed. "Well well. What is is this again that I'm doing for her? She usually only wants to meet when there is something she needs from me." He said as he sat across from Nigel, fiddling with the buttons so that he could get the dress shirt on. Nigel gave him a shrug, noticing the man was still a bit out of it from the night before, something obvious by the look in his eyes. Lyric had been acting awfully strange lately, but Nigel blamed it on the man's birthday coming up. He usually got sullen and quiet around that time. He never understood it since the man had everything he could ask for, but he never celebrated or did anything really. He just holed himself up in that apartment. That was if he didn't have a show then to do. He cleared his throat, figuring he could give him some good news rather than dwell on the bad. "Your mother called last night while you were onstage. Do you want me to give you the number when we get back so you can call her back?" Nigel saw Lyric's face light up briefly, though it quickly turned a bit uneasy. He hadn't spoken to his mother in a very long while, like months. It wasn't something he was proud of, but he couldn't really change it at this point short of talking with her. But that was a conversation he didn't necessarily want to have either. She could be judgmental of his life and oh so concerned he was on the wrong path. If only she knew he hardly followed any of her dogma of purity anymore, but he wasn't out to give the woman a heart attack. "Well, sure. I'll..try to get back to her..." He said, though it was obvious that it was half hearted.

"Thanks- yes, I owe you something major for this. You name it and I'll fork it over...Yeah. Okay see ya." Maria hung up the phone and smiled, letting out a sigh of relief. She had part of her conversation on the balcony of her brothers room, but he heard the last past as she came in. "Got you notes from classes covered?" He asked in a humored way making her smile back. "Yep, gonna cost me an arm and a leg I bed later though." She joked since he had lost both arms and legs for someone. She had set up her little power outage, her friend was going to meet with the maintenance man soon to arrange it personally. It was going to happen, perhaps even going to accomplish in spooking them, though she wouldn't get her hopes up.

Lyric waited patiently in the expensive looking meeting room, the couches and furniture looking so sleek and unused that he felt uncomfortable even attempting to sit on it. He looked out the window and into the courtyard, finding the rubble and blood still there from the attacks . Outside workers were fixing it up, cleaning what they could. He felt his heart throb for all the lives injured in this and those that died. He never wished for harm to come to anyone, not even the rebels who were just misguided and fighting on the wrong side of things. When they got the chance to talk things out, when the chancellor made this broad cast, surely they could find compromise in this...so no one else had to die. Suddenly, the double doors at the end of the room harolded the Chancellor's arrival. She came in in a business attire, her hair done away from her face in a bun that allowed full vision of her face, showing off her shaper features that hinted at her Norwegian heritage. She moved into the room with a confidence that was palpable something proud and strong. It was admirable and inspiring, enough so that Lyric smiled taking in the way she smiled back though it was detached in a way. "Good morning Lyric. Are you ready to change the tide of this battle with the rebels?" She asked and he gave a nod, a bow of his head in response. "Yes, Chancellor Victoria. Anything I can do to help." He was led out of the room with Victoria, following her into where her armored car was. As they traveled, she gave him a script, telling him he was to say it and not its any of the cues. They were to be precise with this, especially with this delicate of a situation. Lyric understood that, though he was unsure that he could be so sincere with a script. He would take it for was it was, since opposing the Chancellor's direct orders wasn't smart. She was a very controlling woman, but what Chancellor hadn't been? She was what their nation needed at this moment perhaps... When they entered the station, Lyric was taken to a room to away when Chancellor Victoria would be done speaking with the heads of the department and her security secured the area, they would leave no stone unturned due to the her nearly dying only a little while ago. ~~~ Nina looked up from her blank clipboard as she stood in station, her disguise that of an intern there to help coordinate the interview and speech. She was unsure about how to approach the situation, what with her seeing Lyric and the Chancellor enter together. She had been only inches from Victoria...close enough to take her out with the knife she kept on her. Instead she stood there, watching the woman like a hawk and maintained her distance. They couldn't risk their operation on a botched assassination...She wouldn't let their purpose fail. She walked past a few guards, smiling flirtatiously at one before heading back to the dressing rooms where she knew she would find Lyric... ~~~ Nathaniel walked through the main hideout, his stance reserved and strong despite the worry that was evident on his features. He hated missions where he wasn't involved, just left to wait and do research while the other's risked their lives. Lives that hold more weight than his did at the moment. He was a risk taker, not to the same extent as others perhaps but he always loved the dangerous work. It was more suitable work for him, someone who had no one left or any interest in running away. He could drag the little song bird back if they wanted him so badly, he could get a general talking if he could get them alone...and yet he was sent on research work. He gave a sigh, moving into the room where the soldiers were. He was training that day and he would make sure their forces were stronger than ever. They needed to make sure they didn't lose anyone else and within this fight, he had little to no choice but to train the new men and women that enlisted there. He just hoped it could be enough to give them the advantage...

Ava looked into the room seeing that Dom look almost excited at the TV where he was waiting for the broadcast. She hasn't seen him watching TV any time before hand, unless the Chancellor was involved. Her eyes moved over to see Maria who was scribbling at the desk in the 'note' book in question, the words math notes on the cover. "Hello!" She said in an excited voice, a large smile on her face going over to Domonick, hoping to get soem form of a flirty greeting only getting a pat on the head form him as his eyes stayed focused on the TV. Pursed lips, Maria turned around in her chair and held out the note book, bags evident under eyes. "There- I finished them from the book. Try not to spill your soda on my notes this time?" She said making it sound bad since the notes never honestly came back since it was the excuse that Ava would spill something or lose them- or give them away with out a thought. In reality she was very careful for her bubbly self, most the time it was an act. Ava stuck out her tongue at her friend before taking them and skipped out of the room with a small farewell. Maria sighed and went to go lay on the large bed by her brother, who didn't mind. She cuddled into his side, not minding the harder feeling where his body would have been softer- but this was her brother now, she still wanted to be close to him even if he was in puppy love with the most dangerous woman in the world at the time. Ava skipped out of the hospital before heading in to where she agreed to meet up with Nate. Her outfit she smuggled out of Maria's closet. She needed it today, also she knew that Maria was going to kill her, so if Nate complimented it then perhaps it might get her a little grace in saying it was Maria's. It was known to a few that Maria had a thing to Nate, however she was too professional for that at the moment. Them having known each other before this revolution it was hard for her to separate from both men in her life.

The halls were noisy with the sounds of interns and anchors chattering and getting ready for this fabled broad cast. The first broadcast of their new Chancellor live. It was a dream come true for the small news outlet, even if it felt a lot like betrayal to Nina. How could these people support Vicotria, the evil bitch...She kept her mouth shut as an intern came over to her, giggling about getting to talk with Lyric. She wanted to roll her eyes, but instead gave a pleasant little smile to hide her annoyance. Of course the evil queen and her minion would be the hottest thing here. It didn't make it any easier to swallow however... She was minutes from entering the dressing room when a woman came by, shoving a coffee into her hand. She was confused at first, but paused when she saw the woman give her a knowing look. "This is for the singer...Our insider is in position to cut the broadcast when everyone is in position..." She said softly before she walked off in the direction of the control room. That made Nina grin as she entered the dressing room to find out where Lyric was. When she didn't instantly spot him inside, she figured the boy was off somewhere doing something ridiculous. Most singers were the crazy, flamboyant type anyways. She instead decided to take the time to dig through his things on the couch and vanity, trying to find anything that could give her a leg up in this situation... ~~~ Victoria sat on a lush chair, the black dress she wore draping over her and to the ground in thick pools of rich fabric. She hated the thing, but her public relations ambassador said the dress was to make her appear in mourning for the people lost at her speech the other day. While she did hate that lives were taken so recklessly by the rebels, she knew that their deaths were for the good of her cause and would help crush the rebellion sooner. People were afraid of these rebels...It was time for her to make that fear very real and use it to her benefit. "Are you ready my Lady Chancellor?" The news host said, her light and airy voice a rather mousey sound amongst the hum of chatter nearby. Victoria gave the woman a serious look, her gaze intimidating enough that she saw the woman give an uncomfortable fidget. Victoria gave a small exhale through her nose at the sign of weakness, wishing a moment she had someone there that wouldn't cower over something as simple as a look...Domonick wouldn't...She let that thought fall away when she felt a pang of worry touch her heart at the idea that he was inured and in the hospital. She knew he wasn't fragile but she also worried for his health in the sense that he was machine now, rebuilt by medical science and brought back by a miracle. She wouldn't let him leave her...not now when she needed him most. Even if she could never let anyone know her weakness for the man, she would do her best to find the little coward that harmed him. She would make sure they paid... With the fire of her anger taking over the weakness in her, she gave the woman a confident smile, relaxing back in her chair like a queen on her throne. "Of course. Let us proceed." At her word the production crew went to work, focusing the cameras on Victoria and the tv host. The broadcast interrupted the air waves on all stations, consuming the prime time television time with the national anthem and an image of the republics flag. Soon the screen was taken up by the image of the news host, her professional demeanor taking over her usual mousey demeanor. "Good evening citizens, we disrupt the usual programming to bring you an important message from our Lady Chancellor Victoria in the wake of this tragedy that befell the capitol building yesterday...I turn the broadcast over to our Chancellor, may her wisdom soothe the souls of the fearful, mourning, and those that stand with the republic against the rebellion." The camera panned to a close up of Victoria, who's face was a picture of strength and solidarity, knowing she had the full attention of the citizens and these rebels. "Citizens of the republic, I am addressing you today with a special message given the circumstances of yesterdays loss. My heart and sympathy is with the families of those affected by the reckless actions of the terrorists that call themselves heroes." She sat in silence as pictures of the dead and injured flashed on the screen, their names beneath each portrait. When they faded, she spoke again, this time her voice gaining an edge to it that showed a certain power and persuasion to it. "While this is a time for grief, it is also a time of great importance, a time to unite against the anarchists that are attacking our way of life. They seek to harm and destroy all that we have built, to push their own agenda of fear and destroy the peace and earned through war and our strength. Do not let their cruelty dishearten you, but instead place your faith in the power of your republic to protect and serve you as it always has. We must show them our strength, our pride, and our control as we embark on a new era I intend to bring of harmony and prosperity for our people. I intend to--" Before she could finish her thought, a loud thrum of energy coursed through the building, shutting down the power for the entire news station. Emergency lights blinked into view but the cameras were effectively cut off. People panicked while Victoria looked furious as her personal guard swarmed her to get her to a safer location than in the dark room of monitors and strange faces trying to solve the problem... ~~~ Nate checked his watch as he waited on the street corner for Ava to finally show up. She was running late, as usual, but he was particularly interested in talking to her today. She had been to see Domonick and Maria, something he wasn't exactly allowed to do much of nowadays. Domonick would have him arrested no doubt for desertion. And of course Maria had to keep her identity quite a secret from the rest of the rebels to protect herself and her brother. He missed the days when he was able to see them. They were friends as children and even into adulthood. That all changed with decisions they made and age, but in very different ways between all three of them. Nathaniel was at odds with Domonick and the war, leading him to desert the military. And with Maria...well that was a strange situation. Everything had been perfectly fine between them all in the past, just an innocent friendship between children...but one day that friendship changed, almost like a breath of clarity out of nowhere. He wasn't even sure what triggered the change, he just remembered the day it happened with a certain nostalgia. They were teenagers and had just been sitting on a hill in the park near her home, waiting on Domonick to get back from some errand he was running. Maybe it was summer heat or the way that she laughed over something dumb he said, the way she corrected his choice of words with her brilliant vocabulary he never always understood, or the smell of the peaches they had been snacking on because it was the only thing left from the harvest after the food rationing began for their area. But something in the way her brown eyes met his and the way she said his name, it sparked something inside him that felt warm and stronger than anything he ever understood at the time. Over time he came to understand the feelings, but never acted on them beyond a careful nature about her. By then it was too late anyways, he had enlisted and was gone within the same week with Domonick. He knew better than to drag her further into the war or into a life that she never wanted. He knew she hated the war, hated Victoria and what she did to Domonick...what Nate allowed to happen to her brother, her only family...And now with them both stuck in yet another war, this time together, he could do no more than protect her and be there for her when she needed him. That was his part to play in all this and he would do a damn good job of it to make up for all his poor decisions... He was drawn from his thoughts when he heard a whistle nearby from a man. He looked up from his watch and saw that it was Ava approaching in a sexy little number that was perfect for what they were after. He gave her a half smile, gesturing to her. "Damn Ava, you look banging. I think your going to give some of these boys heart attacks." He said, in a joking tone, though he did mean that she looked good. Ava was a pretty girl, not his type, but he didn't have to worry over that. She was infatuated with Domonick. "The club is just up from here...You still sure your cool with this? I'll be with you of course but the place is a bit cheap and dicey." He said, letting her know that while soldiers and guards from Victoria's service did go there, it was mostly a den for illegal, illicit, and gambling. He had only been a few times when he was in the military, following after the other men in his unit. He wasn't much for it, but he knew it was the best place to get the people with valuable information when they were drunk and caught off guard.

Ava gave him a bright smile at his compliment which made her act coy, no blush however since it was a joke. "Thank you- I borrowed this from Maria's closet...She might kill me." She said with a giggle since she liked to make issues occasionally. "I can fight, plus I brought my taser." She said as she lifted part of the dress to expose her thigh that had a taser holstered to it. "Anyhow I know you got my back, you would hurt some one if they ruined something of Maria's." She teased the man since she knew little hints but didn't know for sure, she was still feeling him out for that. She skipped a bit ahead as they got into the short line, her cute smile getting her admitted rather quickly as she dragged Nate in with her. "I'll be bar side a short but getting some info on our targets, take this." She said passing him an ear piece that was like hers. "To share the information, let me know if anything sounds useful there." She said since she knew if she were in trouble he would figure it out. ------------------ Domonick looked pleased that it was starting, Maria however pretended to sleep. he watched how she looked, her facial expressions easy for him to read, they were confident but sad. He felt for her in this situation and wished he could have been there with her however- that was until the screen went black and the cameras' shut off- a multi colored screen coming over apologizing for the interruption and to wait. With some struggle He got his phone off the sides table and dialed her guards' number- demanding to know what the hell was going on. he got a muffled response about the power going out but Victoria was secure.

Nina was in the progress of hunting through a stack of papers when she stopped on an advertisement poster for a dj position needed for Lyrics tour. She gave a roll of her eyes, finding the whole thing pretentious. How many people were very worthy of that job that would be turned away because they would refuse to kiss the pop stars ass. She dabbled in music herself, but would never stoop as low as to work for him. "Um can I help you?" Her eyes lifted up, her blood running cold as she was met with a skeptical and surprised looking young man in the doorway. Even under his obvious hesitance, he was the definition of a pretty boy, what with the clean shaven face, eyes a piercing blue, and hair the color of the sky. His suit he wore did little to hide that he was well built, no doubt from regiments the industry used to keep all their stars starved and perfect looking. He had his hand on a phone that no doubt had his security on speed dial. She quickly sprung into action, giving him the fakest shy smile she could muster. "Oh sorry! I wasn't sure where that document was with your television appearance schedule was. I didn't want to interrupt you when you had an interview." Nina said in a light, mousey tone, her eyes battering in an attempt to look air headed. Lyric blinked, his eyebrows furrowing some as he tried to process what was going on and who this woman was. Nina pretended to just notice his unease and gave a giggle. "I know how this looks but your manager told me to come meet with you." She moved some in front of the desk, her hand going to the desk and fumbled for the Ad she saw. She quickly pulled it out, flashing him a bright smile. "I'm your new DJ. The names Nina." Her words seemed to strike a bit of recognition in the man after a moment, making him instantly huff and put his phone away. "Oh...Jeez you had me thinking you were a rabid fan. They can get a bit much at times." He said with a brighter, more friendly smile as he came over to her. He looked her over, his brow raising some at her. "You don't look like much of a DJ. Why are you all dressed up? You look so uptight." He gave a bit of a childish laugh, one that made Nina give him a brief glare before she quickly shoved her annoyance away. At least he was dumb enough to buy her lie so easily. "Haha, right. Well I knew the Chancellor was around and wanted to look nice...So I was thinking we could go talk about the job a bit? Before you have to go interview with the Chancellor..." She said, offering him the coffee with a rather soft inquisitive look. He gave a look of consideration before giving a nod. "Sure, I've got a little time." He took the coffee from her, walking towards the door when the lights went out. Lyric quickly slammed to a halt, causing Nina to run into his back. She cursed and looked around, trying to feel her way in the darkness. "Are you okay?" Lyric asked her, taking her arm and helping to guide her out of the door a little. She gave him a nod, though she was left to squint when the lights came back on from the emergency generator. She looked to the side and caught sight of the Chancellor and the station manager, the woman who had helped secure a few of the rebels to sabotage the transmission and had given her the coffee for Lyric... ~~~ Victoria heard her guards chattering amongst themselves as they moved her from the building and to her car. She heard one on the phone nearest her, a man that was talking about her being secure. She gave an angry huff before she jerked herself from the crowd of men and went to the nearest working girl. The woman looked panicked to see the chancellor marching towards her, but bowed to her whim when she spoke. "Get me the station manager. Now." She said, her hand on her hip with an impatience that was better left untested. The girl scurried off and brought back a rather thin looking woman with glasses and short blonde hair. She gave a rather confident look to Victoria, even though she could smell it on her that she was afraid. She had something to hide..that was too perfect. The only ones that knew that this interview was going on was her inner circle and the station manager... She gave the woman a stern look, motioning for a guard to come over. "You have some nerve..." She muttered, her eyes not leaving the woman. "I-I don't know what you mean Chancellor." The manager said, her eyes narrowing some. Victoria gave a hum of thought before she reached down and grabbed the gun from the nearby guards belt. She held the gun to her forehead, looking very displeased. "I know you sabotaged this. Since I can't find your little rats now that they've scurried off. I'll just have to punish you instead." She pulled the trigger, the sound reverberating off the walls and causing a few people nearby to gasp or shriek. She looked over her shoulder and found the startled pop star there with a tense looking woman near him. "Take us to the car. Seems our little outting is ruined Song Bird." She said, tossing the gun aside as she stalked away from the others, a ball of rage filling her gut to discomfort. ~~~ Nate looked surprised to hear this was something Maria would be running around in. She would be pissed with Ava, but that was something that would smooth over quickly. Maria never stayed mad with Ava. He gave her a nod of approval at the sight of the taser well hidden up her skirt, making him almost comment till she suddenly teased him about being able to protect something that was Maria's. He gave Ava a roll of his eyes, brushing off the comment easily. "You're right. I want you to be safe. And I can't have her kicking your ass and mine for getting blood on her clothes." He said before following Ava along to the club. They got to the shady spot soon and of course Ava was able to charm her way in without a second thought. Nate felt odd being back but kept himself hidden really under all the lights. He couldn't have himself being recognized. He accepted the ear piece and gave her a nod at listening in. He knew that she could get the information, they just needed to work together to decipher what was going on... "Got it. Just keep them drinking and some one will speak up. We need a better way not that stupid fortress, ideas on their next movements, anything really..." He said before looking at the bar. "The guys in black, the jackets there have the Chancellors crest. They work closer to her than the other grunts. They even have the more expensive liquor." He said, motioning to who he was talking about before easing back to let her do her job.

Ava nodded and headed over with a wide smile, taking a welcome seat in an officers lap, he of course greeted the woman in a slinky dress and a smile openly. She had used this man for information before. "Well, well- look who decided to show her face after a while off the map!" He said with a flirty tone getting a smirk from Ava. "I have school- I told you- besides your girlfriend called my phone and said some mean words over last time." She said a bit offhandedly before ordering a drink and a few of this friends laughing. The man's face was a little red as he remembered this but shook his head, telling the bartender to add her drinks to his tab. She giggled and gave him a suggestive hug as her body brushed against him,"Oh you know how to treat a lady!" She giggled and called for shots, making them all drink. It was about a hour later when they all started getting chatty. The man was brushing her leg a bit inappropriately however she kept him under control. So why do you think we can..'meet up'?" She giggled as she grabbed the collar of his jacket with a sly grin. He grinned and was about to comment about tonight however a buddy of his who was a bit lost in this cups spoke up. "Can't tonight- remember we have an inspection in the morning? Then we got that one thing..." He slurred however the man who's lap she was in frowned. "So you don't wanna cuddle with me?" She frowned and looked doe eyed getting the man to shake his head. "Thats' not it, You know I like to see you after the bar, however, we have an inspection tomorrow- one of the higher ups is coming out of the hospital and needs to check on things apparently, dude is a real hard ass." he said with a frown getting a few others to laugh loudly. "Yeah- 'hard ass'- cause his ass is metal!" A few laughed because of it. Ava frowned a bit on the inside however she giggled along with the joke however she looked over at the friend of his her chest flaunted a bit. "So if he can't hang out with me- would you like to/ It seems hes to busy playing toy soldier to play." She teased getting a grin from the friend however the man who's lap she was in gave a growl. "I'm not playing at this. I have a security briefing on an upcoming even with the hard ass! Geez- how about tomorrow afternoon sweet cheeks?" He said making a clear point in defense and then trying to make up for ignoring her that night. She looked at him and smiled," I'm okay with that, You know I'm a sucker for a man in uniform. Oh Your so strong, you always make me feel so safe here in your lap." She said stoking his ego since it was how this guy cooped well drunk. She felt her phone vibrate making her open it and smile at it. "Okay, yeah- On the way now!" She said as she before clipping her phone shut and gave them all an apologetic look. "Sorry boys, gotta go. Its my mom." She said getting a few of them groan that the eye candy was leaving before she got off his lap after giving a teasing kiss and heading over to Nate, who she tapped on the shoulder and headed out knowing he wasn't going to be far behind. --------------- Domonick gave a frown at the phone when he heard a few muffled words and a gun shot then heard a feminine voice that was Victoria's. He gave a sigh as the other security staff gave an apology. "Its fine, just let her blow off soem steam at the range- trust me- give her a big gun and let her go an hour." He said getting a confirmation that it would be done.

Nate's eyes went to the officers there that Ava was speaking with, his face a mask of some awkward annoyance at it all. He knew the girl was good at keeping her in and staying undercover, but it did remind him of the fact that he was once that dumb. They would often enjoy long nights with the pretty girls and the drinks flowing. Some had better sense than others, but he couldn't tell honestly how many pretty girls used him for his latest military pay or the were spies for the Chancellors army. He just remembered to make a point not to talk business with the pretty faces that had no business knowing. He nearly choked on his drink when he heard someone call Domonick a 'hard ass', his lips pulling into a grimace at the idea. While it was funny, he knew better than to laugh. That man gave up so much more than just his allegiance to the empire for that war. His 'hard ass' came from years of service in the military and sacrificing himself for that crazy bitch. He deserved respect, not the BS he was getting from the yellow bellies under his control. When she got information about a meeting however, he gave a small noise of approval. At least the men were willing to share information with her. She soon was back over his way, the touch to his shoulder drawing him up to follow after a moment to pay his tab since he had no business staying. When he reached outside, he found Ava there by the sidewalk looking pleased with herself. "You got some good stuff in there Ava. Though hell I never knew you were such a sweet talker. You had those boys eating out of the palm of your hand." He said finding it a bit odd she was playing around in officers pockets for her information, but he supposed it was the easiest way to their brains. "That meeting sound interesting though. We'll have to have Maria talk to Dom over it...Maybe he'll know something more about what Victoria's been scheming. I saw the news report on her broadcast black out. They got Jill, the PR team is sayings she was an undercover Rebel sympathizer. And Nina hasn't reported back...Headquarters wants us back soon though to report in what you got..." He said, filling her in on what he found out while she was away. ~~~ Nina sat between Lyric and another guard in the back of the limo, watching with wide and scared eyes as Victoria climbed into the seat across from her. It was mostly an act, anything to keep her looking innocent and frail when all she wanted to do was launch across the seat and strangle the chancellor. She killed their insider at the station in cold blood, left her two children without a mother. She was going to pay for all the blood she spilt one day, but the day couldn't be today. She had to make it out of this alive first. "Who is this?" Victoria snapped, motioning to Nina wth a glare. "I didn't authorize her to be here." Before Nina could speak, a gun was pulled on her from the guard next to her, held to her temple as a warning. She sat perfectly still, shaking a bit for the effect of looking innocent. She looked at Lyric from the corner of her eye, seeing the man was in a bit of shell shock from it all. Had he never seen someone die before? How could he not know when he was her age? The war had been around only a year ago? Was the boy that sheltered? "She's with me Chancellor Victoria! I--I hired her to be my DJ. I-I forgot to tell you I was meeting her at the station to take her back for practice with me." He finally blurted out, his voice sounding shaky and panicked. Victoria looked at the pop star before her eyes flicked back to Nina. She was quiet a moment before she eased back in her seat, still not calling off her guard with the gun pointed at her. "What is your name?" "N-Nina Dubreev, ma'am." She said, getting a raised brow look from Victoria. "And you're a DJ? Ms. Dubreev do you have identification on you?" Nina slowly reached for her wallet but the guard quickly gave her hand a forceful shove behind her back, digging the wallet from her skirt pocket. He flipped it open before handing it to Victoria. She thumbed the ID out of it and gave it a once over glance. Nina felt sweat building on her lower back and neck as she tried to remember if they gave her the fake ID. If not, she would be a spatter on the cab of the car. "Checks out. Lloyd lower your gun. The girl looks like she'll faint." She said, before tossing the wallet back to the shaky Nina. Nina quickly collected it, watching with some unease and relief as Victoria told her driver to take Lyric home and get her back to her home. She said that she was 'tired'...

Ava nodded since she was cocky but knew any information was vital and time sensitive. They caught a cab easily towards the location and ended up walking a good bit off however tonight it seemed Maria was in- well she was looking unusual. She looked oddly put together and not in something that screamed teen punk. Ana gave her a giggle and a flirty wave when her eyes went wide when she saw what she was wearing. "I swear to god if you ruin that dress I will shave your head in your sleep!" She said in an aggressive tone, her face a bit upset however it turned a but pink at Ava's response. "Its okay- Nate made sure nothing happened to it- He even said he liked it- he might liked it better on you though." She said wagging her eye brows at her, making it only a little awkward since Nate had come into the room, near the middle of her words. She knew she was being dumb but she sucked it up and stood a little straighter looking up at Nate's proper height. "Hey, long time no see. Dom sent me home so they could run some tests tonight. He is being released tomorrow." She said easily since she knew the man there was an honest family friend and truly cared for them.

When the arrived to drop off a report to the others, Nate expected this to be a quick in and out. He intended to head home and get some work done for the security agency he and a friend were trying to run. It was the easiest route to take for an ex military man and a computer hacker that was bored quite often. She could be temperamental, but she was good at what she did. Ava went on ahead while he placed a written report in to a few of the standing information techs, since it seemed most people were home for the night after accomplishing stopping the broadcast. He headed to go find Ava when he walked in on the tail end of their conversation. "He might like it better on you though." hung in the air a moment, him sparing Ava a 'Really?' look to her stirring shit before he gave Maria a smile. "Hey M." His expression eased some when she spoke about Dom. "Great. It's good to hear Domonick is better. I'm surprised they got him to sit still long enough to do much of anything." He said, since he had heard she did a number on him to help Nina out. He knew she didn't want to harm her brother, but the man was too stubborn to give up on Victoria and her cause. "How have you been? You look good--well you know for being a ghost around here lately." He asked since he almost left it at just saying she looked good, which would have been awkward. She was looking good, the outfit hugging her curves and showing off how pretty her eyes were. He knew the rest of it that came out of his mouth was dumb but he couldn't help it with her.
