The morning brought all three of the men out of their minds. Briony had moved inside, sitting in the small library that was in the basement. Rowan had beaten a game he had been playing for two days now and Layfon woke as he fell out of his bed. They all seemed to make it to the kitchen at the same time. It was early, the sun just barely having risen. There was left over pizza, each of them taking a slice. The kitchen was silent, Rowan heating up his pizza with a small flame on his right index finger. The cheese re-melted to a molten goodness. Briony sat on the counter, something many people from work couldn’t imagine him doing. He really was quite a poised creature when in the public eye. Get him behind doors and he had a playful heart. Layfon was sitting at the island on a bar stood, practically laying down as he stared at the food on his plate. He looked as though he was trying to fall back asleep. Rowan slapped him on the back. “Get up you lummox.” He told him in a stern but humored voice. Layfon murmured something in response, the incoherence of his words just made Rowan roll his eyes. Layfon was hardly what one would call a morning person. He preferred the night and the afternoon. The night life was definitely more exciting in this realm. Briony watched the exchange with a good natured look. He was quiet in the mornings, though he had been up for hours. He silently nibbled on the left overs as his two brothers began discussing their conversation from the previous night. “I just don’t understand why I have to be the youngest.” Layfon stated with a mouthful of pizza. Rowan laughed, his eyes alight with humor. “You’re kidding right. It is because you are the youngest.” The elf responded glancing at Briony with amusement. Whenever the nymph spoke it seemed to make them laugh at its stupidity or what seemed to be ignorance, though they knew it really wasn’t. “Well, it’s not like we are being honest anyways.” The nymph responded with a grumble and then began stuffing his face more, as though the talk was finished. “If we are going to be on that topic, what day would be best for everyone?” Briony brought up an important question, figuring that he should call the girl today with information on when they could do the interview. He was almost hoping for today since it would just be easier, but he didn’t know if that was possible. Any fake documents that they would need would be done by this evening or early tomorrow morning. The pictures, well they had a few as a precaution from a previous interview. They did very few and didn’t like the press very much. After all, those with secrets liked to keep out of the lime light.

Sophie was shocked when she suddenly asked to go on the interview. If Conners wasn't going to call the office and was hell bent on her talking to them first then she was hella sure he wasn't going to let her bring a friend on the interview. You're crazy. How am I going to explain that to a family that is as secretive as id they're hiding national secrets in their basement? It took promising them a special view at the story to get them to even agree!" She said though the prospect of not going alone did sound really tempting. But she couldn't have Susanna oogling the men the entire time. "Besides I'd have to worry about you pouncing on the poor boy. He looked kinda quiet. And no I didn't catch the name. He was dragging Micheal off before I got a word out." She said before she thought of her sister Monica for a moment. She had to police Monica like that when she was little all the time. She had a loud mouth and liked to push people's buttons. About her brother Sophie gave her an equally serious look. She knew fully well when going over to her place that the kid threw more tempertantrums than made sense. She however chose to keep her comments down and took a drink from the water she got. Besides, she was still mulling over what to tell Conners tomorrow. She hadn't exactly gotten a schedualed time out of them but she was sure there would be a time scheduled soon though, hopefully sooner than never.

"Ahhh... Your so mean... You dangle man candy in front of me then take it away... Your so cold blooded. " She smiled," Any how- So I got this game, Sky Invaders, its the new aircraft battle game. I've already beat it.. there is this online version I was looking at getting but I don't know I don't wanna play a bunch of games with kids...Any how- I beat it in a day, the levels had an easy puzzle to them- battle games are such cake...OH! Have you heard- never mind foods' here!" She said after her small game chant as she went on about her usual lift style. Loud games and music to block out the family. Eating in a blink of an eye she sat back, her tiny frame barely bulging where she ate an extra large pizza and 10 bread sticks, including the extra large soda. The thing could pack it in. Looking at her phone she sighed," Sorry but I gotta bail for tonight, get a to go box... I have a game date in 30..." She smiled at her friend offering her a ride home of course since she got the food. She didn't' wanna rush her but she was very punctual with her gaming friends.

Everyone had decided that either later this evening or tomorrow morning would be best for them. Briony had quite a few important meetings coming up that he needed to prepare for and figured that it would be best to get something like this done and over with as soon as possible. Layfon just didn't want it to interrupt with his partying, along with the fact that he had somehow found a date without much work. Rowan had a meeting of his own with the company, his brother recommending him for a part time job. After nearly being mobbed at a coffee shop he worked out, Briony thought that Rowan could use a more private occupation. Rowan wasn't sure he really wanted to work, but he felt bad having Briony do everything. Looking at the time, Briony's face furrowed some. He picked up all of the trash and disposed of it accordingly. Running his fingers through his already tousled hair, he tried to decide of a proper time to call the young lady that had been on his door step. It was much too early now, he was sure of it. Some time around nine-thirty or ten would be more appropriate, all he had to do was wait. Spinning around in his slippers he made his way to a different room. Rowan headed towards the library, deciding to catch up on a book that he had found interesting. The writing here was much different than what he was used to, so much better in fact. Slipping on a pair of glasses, that he really didn't need, he sat down in a worn leather chair, book in hand. Opening it, he breathed in the scent of paper and ink, allowing it to make him relax as he began to read. Layfon had headed out to the pool. Not caring about what anyone would think, he stripped down and jumped into the cool water. He didn't come up for air, but instead let himself sink to the bottom, opening his eyes and feeling as though he was one with the water. Everything was better underneath the water. He could hear himself think. Sure, he was a loudmouth and loved to have fun with women, but he liked quiet on occasion. Plus, this was his favorite way to wake up in the morning, swimming.

Sophie smiled when Susanna started her gaming rant. She really was the type to never really worry over much. It made Sophie secretly jealous how well she could handle herself and just be herself. It was like nothing fazed her and she was always happy for it. She ate her pizza ate like a bird to be honest and was hardly done with her second slice before Susanna was on her third or fourth. The girl ate her money's worth and stayed so skinny. How the hell did that work? When she mentioned her date Sophie nodded and accepted the ride home. They talked about a few things on the way to her home and when she dropped her off, Sophie thanked her accordingly and said good night. She was up her stairs to her apartment, readying to put her key in the lock when she noticed the door was slightly opened. She froze, heart pounding a little faster. Someone was inside her apartment... She grabbed her phone and was ready to call the cops but thought first to check if maybe she hadn't just left her door open. She doubted it, but she couldn't be too sure. She opened the door slowly and walked carefully in, holding her breath with each step. When she finally got in she about passed out when she heard a scream and saw someone on her couch illuminated by the tv screen. She jumped back against the wall, dropping the phone on her way back and scaring the hell out of the person on the couch. In the dark. "What the heck?!" A female voice hissed before the lamp by her couch suddenly came on, revealing the face of her sister, Monica. She looked pissed but her wide eyes showed just how much Sophie had startled her. Sophie let out a breath of relief but jumped all the same when she heard another scream. She looked to the tv and saw that her sister was watching a horror movie. Sophie cringed and looked away. She had a bit of an irrational fear of scary movies. She hated them to the point she couldn't sleep at night, they freaked her out so bad. Monica on the other hand didn't get intimidated by movies or much of anything. They girl was the biggest thrill seeker she knew, even more so that Susanna. "Jeesh Sophie, quit looking at me like I'm going to kill ya!" Monica snipped as she got to her feet and crossed the room over to Sophie. Sophie gave her sister and irritated wrinkle of her nose. "Monica what is wrong with you?! You don't just break into people's apartments! I know you in college but jesus you scared me half to death!" Monica rolled her eyes but was smiling at her older sister. "Yeah yeah, old lady. I wanted to visit. I have the month off from classes..." She said before hugging her sister. Sophie accepted the hug and softened her irritation at her sister. She couldn't stay mad for long with her. "Alright, but why didn't you go to stay with Mom and Dad?" Sophie asked and Monica gave her an incredulous look. "With my hair like this? Dad would shit!" She pointed to her hair and Sophie blinked before she realized it. Monica's hair was black as coal, almost so black she mixed with the dark. Sophie gasped. "You didn't!" Monica grinned and spun away from the hug with a giggle. "I did! And I think it looks amazing too. Perfect for my next party don't you think?" Sophie gave her sister a serious look. "Oh no. If you're staying with me no wild partying. I'm not dragging your underaged drunk ass home everynight." She said and Monica frowned. "I'm not underaged stupid! I turned twenty one a month ago." She stuck her tongue out at Sophie to hide how really irritated she felt that her older sister was still treating her like a child. Sophie blinked before she cleared her throat. She was about to apologize but another scream and blood spatter from the tv made her clam up. "Just...go to bed and turn that off. There are blankets in the hall closet and a pillow or two. I'm going to bed. I've got work tomorrow." She walked into the back, leaving the 'big girl' to her own devices for the night. Secretly however she stayed up to finish her book. ~~~ Sophie woke up in the morning to the smell of coffee and something burning. She shot up out of bed and raced into the living room space, only to find Monica at the counter with coffee, listening to music on her ipod while a bagel burned in the toaster oven. "MONICA!" She shouted before racing over to the toaster oven and unpludding it. Monica blinked and looked up from her ipod, pulling the head phones out a moment later. "What-? Ooooh, whoops." She said before shrugging and getting to her feet to clean up the mess. Sophie sighed and went back to her room to get dressed for work. She knew she had to get to work on time if she had any hope of talking to Conners in a good mood. (This is Monica lol But died dark brown now lol I'll have the bio up by tomorrow I promise)

The next morning after the gaming match that lasted a good 4 hours, she passed out in her chair. Getting up with a stretch she knocked the cheese puffs off her shirt and left tot he bathroom for a shower, Also to avoid her brother who was still asleep-thank god. Looking at her clock it was only 9 am, she was doing good for her. Eating a pop tart on the way out the door about half an hour later, her bright blue skinny jeans and her grey and blue emocon shirt hanging on her she slipped into her car and started the music. When she got to Sophie's apartment about 6 minutes later she beat on the door, then decided to make a funny. " Its the police! Open the door!" She said in a husky voice that didn't sound like her she smiled trying to keep a straight face as she simply stood there after beating on the door and yelling police. It was going to be god if she knew Sophine well- she would flip.

'A shower sounds nice,' Briony thought to himself and then stood from his chair. He had been staring at nothing in particular, his mind wandering around as it usually did when he was a lone. If he could have seen himself, Briony would have seen quite the troubled look on his face. He was thinking of home, thinking of how he should go about this interview, and thinking about the Queen while wondering if she had spies in this realm. He had been her slave, forced to serve her for years. He had learned more about her than she probably even knew and if he had learned anything, it was that she could be anywhere you least expected. It was hard to trust anyone really, with all the evil woman's-well you couldn't even call her that-lies and deceit. He made it into his bathroom, shutting the door and striping down. He could see the long scar on his back, one given to him by 'Her Majesty'. He frowned at the memory and turned his attentions to the shower nobs as he worked them to the correct temperature. He had also seen that scars on his forehead, where his horns ought to have been. He felt so strange to not be in his full form, but it was oddly nice to be in a human shape. It was different though, that was to be sure. He didn't like that there were scars where he would have horns, but it made sense. He just told people that he had fallen when he was younger. Stepping into the warm shower, he felt himself relax as the drops hit him and the noise of flowing water enveloped his auditory senses. Rowan was upset. He groaned as he finished the book. The ending was horrible, a complete cliff hanger. Throwing the book on to the table, he rubbed his eyes underneath of his glasses. He would have to wait at least a year for the next one in the series. Standing up, he stretched and yawned some. Pocketing his glasses, he made his way back up to his room, turning on a game system and his TV. He heard Briony's shower going, so he figured that he wouldn't use all the hot water at once and would take one after him. In the mean time, Rowan would just go and kill some goblins on one of his RPG games. It was a lovely way to loosen up his frustration after all. Layfon floated on his back, not wanting to get out of the water and not caring that he was flashing anyone that would be looking, not that anyone but his two 'brothers' would be able to look. He had contemplated removing the glamor on himself and letting everything be normal for a moment, but he decided against it. Smiling in a chipper manner, he got out of the pool. If anything, he could just go out and party. His frown faded a bit as he remembered that he might have an obligation tonight and tomorrow, he didn't want to come hung over to the interview. He was pretty sure Rowan would lecture him and then Briony would wring his throat. Faune's weren't typically known for being violent, but when something went wrong with their image, Briony sure as hell got angry. It was funny really, how much different he acted from his species when he had human legs and no horns. Coming out of the shower, Briony toweled himself dry, wrapping a dry one around his waist. He toweled off his hair as he walked out of the shower and into his room. Picking up his cellphone, he found the card that the woman had given him. Checking the time, he found it to be a little after nine and shrugged some. He could always leave a voice mail. Dialing the number, he waited to move until he heard the ringing of the other line. Then, he put the towel he had been using to dry off his hair on his shoulder and proceeded to look through his closet for something suitable to wear.

Sophie had gotten ready in record time it seemed. The girl was as efficient as clock work in the mornings even with her sister as distraction. She had to get some kind of routine down what with Conners being the stickler he was for someone being late. He fired his second secretary last month just because the woman came in late from traffic. He seemed to let Sophie slide a few minutes or two, but she hardly wanted to use the grace. It made the other women in the office angry with her. She heard the loud banging and a clatter of glass to the floor. She ran into the kitchen and found Monica wide eyed and open mouthed as she stared at the door, her mug unbroken but on the wood floor that was now covered with coffee. "Monica-what?--" She froze when she heard the banging and the word police. Her wide eyes grew with panic as she gave here sister the 'what did you do?' look. Monica gave her an offended look and hopped off the stool. She cracked the door open, looking nervous but her expression quickly changed to pure annoyance when she saw Sophie's friend there. "Oh it's you." She snipped before opening the door and trying to compose herself past the fact she was obviously scared by the display. Sophie however looked in a disarray as she came up behind Monica and looked out to find Susanna. "Oh my god Sus!" She groaned before motioning for her to come in. Monica looked displeased but she shrugged and got over it walking over the couch with a twitch of her hips. "What's up? You know I've got to go and meet with Conners over the story right?" Sophie said as she kept her eyes on the clock. She had till ten to be into work before her boss had a fit. "I think I-" She paused when she felt her phone vibrate in her back pocket. She pulled it out and saw that it was an unkown number. "Wait a sec, I got to take this. Susanna, you know Monica." Monica looked to Susanna and arched a brow at her. "Yeah we met. You're the one that used to die her hair all those wicked colors right?" She asked, slightly in a more forgving mood when she remembered the girls hair. Sophie stepped into the back of her appartment into her room, letting it ring a bit as she grabbed a bit of jewelry and her purse. She then flipped her work phone open and answered it with her formal, "Hello, this is Sophie Belvidere with Futures magazine." She said politely and with a warmth in her voice that was only natural when she spoke with people.

"Yeah I know...Want a ride?" She looked over her shoulder at her little sister and smiled," Yeah that's me. Crazy colored hair and all..." Glancing over the girls shoulder, she got herself a cup of coffee, adding ice from the freezer and chugging it a smile on her face. " You play video games squirt?" Tapping her foot she never got an answer so she was waiting around because she was avoiding going home. None of her gaming friends would be online and she hated being home with no one to game with. " Come on Sophie! Hurry up!" She called down the hall so it echoed and she was sure Sophie heard it.

The woman's voice echoed through his phone when she picked up. He smiled, even though she couldn't see him. "Hello, Ms. Belvidere, this is Oliver Hayes. I hope this isn't a bad time for you." He paused for a moment and looked through his closet, pulling out a slate grey suit. "My brothers and I discussed it and were wondering if either tonight or tomorrow morning would work for you." Briony than pulled out a silvery colored shirt. Fingering through his ties, he pulled out an emerald green silk one. The color mixture would make a rather bold statement mixed with his looks. It would accent his skin tone and the green tie would make his usually blue-green eyes a more solid green. Waiting for the woman to answer, he leaned on the door frame to his closet. Rowan hopped in his own shower, the instant he heard Briony's turn off. He was much quicker in the hot water, in an out in about ten minutes. He slipped into a tee-shirt and jeans, figuring he could put on something nicer if they interviewed tonight. It wasn't really a big deal, though he rather preferred jeans than suit pants; the complete opposite of Briony in that regard. Layfon dug through the clothes pile in his room. He hadn't bothered putting his clothes away for a while now, despite his brothers pleading. Eventually he found and electric blue sweater and black pants, a blindingly yellow beaning on his head.Running down the stairs he yelled up, "Be back in an hour." The only response he got was from Rowan as he told him make sure he was back soon. The elf always seemed to worry, especially since no one was yet sure about their plans for the evening or even the next morning. Sighing a bit, he grabbed some keys off of a hook and made his way to the garage. He hoped into an orange 911 Porsche . The garage door opened and he started the engine, squealing out of the drive way. He had a few errands he wanted to make.

Sophie's eyes shifted in the direction of her phone as she heard the voice and name of the person calling. It was the Hayes brother she'd given her card to, this Oliver right? She listened to him as he spoke, affording her attention to him completely now so as to not appear to be distracted while speaking with him. She listened to the availability times and half wanted to sigh out of relief but the other half would be a sigh of unease. She was glad to have a chance to give the time and date to Conners this morning but it meant also that she would have to study her questions and come up with better ones in order to not sound like an unprofessional dumbass later. She knew however that theY couldn't help their schedules. If those times were what the Hayes brothers wanted, she had no choice but to give it to them. "Alright Mr. Hayes, I think a time tonight might be better, as to not cut into work shedules tomorrow." she was also saying so because she hardly wanted to leave Monica alone in her apartment in the morning. After today's little burned bagel disaster that would probably stink up her tiny kitchen all day, she didn't want Monica touching anything in there. "I'm free at any time later this evening. My editor should have no problems with me adjusting to any scheduled time." She said, hinting that she wanted a time frame that would work for him. He said tonight but Conners would want specifics. Speaking of which she had to figure out exactly where she would be asking these questions. Would it be more formal to do so out some where nice or at their home or her office or--well there were quite a few places actually. She didn't have Conners or anyone here to ask so she would have to play the role of moron for a moment and make a wild guess at it when she could. Hopefully he wouldn't be too offended. --- Monica drummed her fingers in a bit of boredome. She had wanted to spend the day with her sister, perhaps shopping or doig something fun. But work of course came first. She hadn't seen Sophie much since she left home, and losing her from the house was more like losing a mother from her life. Sophie was the one that set her straight in middle school and helped her grades stay at their best. She gave her advice and even spared time for her even out of her busy schedule with school and interning at law firms. However, Sophie had changed quite a bit in the aspect of law firms and things. One day she just up and quit law school, shocking the hell out of the family, Monica the most. However, now her sister seemed...happier. It made Monica happy for her, but she hardly wanted to see her sister working herself ragged for a magazine. She sighed and looked out the window. Maybe she could strike out on her own today and go find something. She had been wanting to check out the mall and hey, maybe there was a movie or two to rent. That and she needed to buy Sophie a candle for her kitchen so it wouldn't smell like burnt bagel. Soo much to do...

Susanna smiled, as she watched the tv, the news was discussing the new horror film that was hitting the box office, it was nice to see a good classic horror film. " About time they come out with a classic!" She said getting more comfortable on the couch next to Monica. She didn't know the brat well but she was used to her. She didn't have work today so she wanted to know if her friend wanted to a ride to and from work, but at the moment she was busy on the phone even though she had a pressing meeting with her prick of a boss.

"Then it seems, tonight will be the best for both of us." Briony stated, though it really wasn't needed. He smiled some as he paused, as if he were thinking though he really didn't need to. "How does six-thirty this evening sound?" He offered that time, though he could be flexible if he wanted to. His brothers would have no time accommodating to the schedule that he set for them. Briony was like the head of the family, the one they all looked up to. It was because of his age and also for what he had done for them. Without him, neither of them would have gotten out of the Queen's grasp. He did also know that without them, Briony would have stayed a slave to his evil mistress. Rowan powered up his game system and plopped down onto his bed. The game popped up onto his screen and he played. He didn't have much else to do and Layfon hadn't offered to have him come along. He didn't care too much, he tended to go places that were much too populated for his tastes. Layfon squealed into the mall's parking lot. He jumped out of the car and locked it, the fall air feeling nice on his face. Making his way into the store, he bee-lined for the food court. He wanted a soda. He ordered and payed, taking the fizzy drink and sitting in a corner where he can get a good look of the entire court.
((Being rush, wanted to add more. Sorry.))

((S'all good lol)) Sophie was glad to hear six thirty. It was close enough to when she got off work that it wouldn't interfere with her current job of fixing a few peices for next months issue. And it also meant that she would have a good ammount of time to get the questions asked and have the answers down before there was room to spare awkward silence or false plans to be kept. "Sounds excelent. Um quick question. Would you like to meet somewhere more public or private? It's up to what would be more comfortable for you and your family of course." She hardly knew how to handle these sorts of things and was going off of what Conners had taught her. Ask and frill. If your going to ask something might as well add the extra to make it sound like less of a stupid question. Of course, in Sophie's case she was genuine in wanting to make sure she got the interview right. She wanted a good, solid peice to show the board that ran the magazine. For that she needed the Hayes to answer as honestly as possible with as little left out as could be. She wouldn't push them, but she tended to find people were more willing to talk when they were in their element. She had heard from Cindy, a woman in her office, that she took her contact to a nice restaurant in city, while Danielle said that the best place to talk to people was in their office space away from prying eyes. These girls had written numerous articles for the magazine on very prominent people in society. She would use what little she gained from idle talks around the office to help her in any way with this, being that she was new and all. She walked back out into the living space as she slipped on her shoes and eyed Susanna, mouthing 'Hayes' much to her sister Monica's confusion. Monica however turned her attention to Susanna. "You like scary movies?" She raised a brow though she looked genuinely glad. Her sister was such a scardy cat when it came to stuff like that. The girl even turned down a really nice guy because the guy took her to see a slasher flick on their second date. Not to mention Sophie couldn't sleep for the next week. Monica looked at her phone and gave a huff. It was already getting to be that time, and she hardly wanted to sit around forever. She rose from the couch and looked to Sophie with a smile. "I'm going out to the mall. Don't wait up. You old ladies have fun." She said before walking to the door. She had long since changed into a her jean shorts and favorite white shirt with a red coy print on the left side. She liked artsy things like that, not the weird but the stylish in a way. She walked down to the street, knowing she still had money to catch a cab and go shopping. She had stocked up from her job at the bar near her college. It paid well enough to keep her afloat if she wanted to get a little wild with her spending. She caught the cab rather quickly and was able to ride rather comfortably to the nearest busy place she could find. Her eyes widened a bit as she took in the mall she had seen coming into the city that night. It looked alot bigger in the day time rather than at night. She paid the driver accordingly, though she was surprised how much they were charging nowadays and walked with purpose in through the north entrance. She quickly wnet to find a map, seeing as she hadn't been here before. She found one not to far from the entrance, though it seemed hardly readable with all the junk and markers on it. "Videos...videos....not even a damn music store." She huffed as she searched the listing, having to bend a little to get a better look down the long list.

Susanna smiled at Monica," Duh. I was there when you watched Friday the 13th the first time remember? Any how your sister is out." Getting up she flipped off the TV and went back to meet Sophine at her bed room door expecting to hear the news any moment now.
