At her question, Briony developed quite the wanting to say something coy and sarcastic. He withheld his trouble making tongue though and settled for something that was more appropriate for the time. “My family’s home would work best for us. We would feel much more comfortable in private.” He responded rather quickly, as though it really wasn’t a question of if it was okay with her. “You have already found yourself at our front door, so I assume it should be no problem for you to do so again?” He said this in a tone that wasn’t a question, a bit of humor coloring his tone. It wasn’t very easy to get a hold of their private address. If it was public knowledge, they would have to move somewhere else within the day. Too much attention wasn’t a good thing but, too little could drown someone in falsities created by others. Briony assumed that after this little bit that their conversation would be over. Glancing at a watch that sat on one of his dressers, he noted how long this chat of theirs was taking. He could come and go in the office whenever he wanted, though Briony preferred to keep to a relative schedule. He didn’t want to seem too much like a self-centered aloof boss. Layfon found himself bored with watching the crowed. There wasn’t too much activity this time of the year during the middle of a week day. Mentally grumbling to himself, he stood and tossed his now empty soda into the trash. Making his way around the mall, he tried to remember his actual reason for coming here. There was something-oh-he needed to get a new pair of pants to look ‘presentable’ for the interview that they were going to be having. Why Briony had agreed, Layfon only kind of understood. He knew that they were supposed to be keeping themselves a secret yet they still decided to make money. He wasn’t complaining, it definitely made living easier, especially since they had had to learn all about this new world within weeks of getting here. His mind shifted from that train of thought as he kept his eyes on store names, looking for one that would have ‘sophisticated’ clothing, as Rowan called it. Not really looking where he was going, he bumped into someone. His hat fell off and his eyes widened in a bit of surprise. Picking up the brightly colored beany, he looked up to see if the person was still there. “Sorry.” He said, a sweet little smile on his face. Rowan was having none of the excitement that either of his other brothers were having. In fact he was just plain bored. His games were boring; nothing was new or exciting right now. One might call it a depressive feeling in his chest, but really it was longing. Briony didn’t like him practicing his magic outside, even though there wasn’t really a way he could get caught. Grumbling, he decided he could handle a lecture if the faune found out. Making his way outside, the chill in the air didn’t even touch him. His skin was warmer to the touch than one would think, the energies of fire sweeping through him in his blood. He made his way past the pool and deeper into the miniature wood that they had. A small rocky patch was where he stopped, sitting down he closed his eyes and tried to concentrate on relaxing himself, opening his mind. He wanted to do this the old fashioned way after all.

Sophie blushed a bit as he made the comment about her finding his address. She gave an awkward slight upturn of her lips as she considered the possibilty of sitting at the Hayes address for this interview. Conners would be so proud of himself...Hell she was surprised at the possibilty. "That is true, Mr. Hayes." She said her voice clearly portraying a bit of her awkward humor at the admitting to the odd occurance of the other night... "So, I will see you this evening. Have a nice day Mr. Hayes." She exchanged a slight farewell before she clicked off her phone. She caught sight of the time and gave a small widden of her eyes. She darted into her closet and selected a pair of simply black heels before trying to put them on as she rushed to get into the main part of the apartment. In the process she nearly smacked into Susanna. "Oh jeez. Sorry! Ah can I get that ride? Conners is going to have a cow if I'm late." She said with a slight smile. "Atleast I have the interview time to give him. The man will be happy to hear its tonight..." She gave a small sigh before shaking her head to dispell her worry. ~~~ Monica gave up on trying to read that stupid map and turned on her heels to go and search for herself for whatever place might sell movies for a reasonable price. She nearly fell over when someone ran into her, but she was quick to steady herself. She looked up and saw a guy there in a brightly colored hat that wasn't too bad to look at, especially with that smile on his lips... She blinked when he apologized and quickly gave a shake of her head. "No it's fine. I should have been watching, especially in such a crowded place." She said, quite assuredly, before she attempted to look back at the map, but just found it even more frustrating than before. She gave a small narrow of her eyes. It was obvious she had no idea where she was going or even what she was really looking at.

Smirking," On one condition, I can go with you!" She was walking back after she passed her in the hallway. A taxi would take way too long to get to her work and she just so happened to be a certified lead foot. "Pretty please! I really need to know! I'm dying to see them! I'll behave I swear!" She pleaded, she didn't know if she would even take that but she hoped she did but she would give her a ride regardless, they both knew that. "OH! I down loaded that online chapter of the game.,. Its apparently a party quest- you gotta have other players in a party to play it, isn't hat cool?"

Briony returned her farewells and hung up. He shoul have gotten to the office earlier but, that wasn't an option anymore. Looking down at his phone, Briony decided to put her contact information in his phone. It would be best if he were prepared incase he needed to call her or vice versa. Setting the sleek piece of technology down, Briony began to get dressed. When he was done he went over to the mirror and tried brushing his hair down. It just wasn't opperating today. He made his way to the obsenenly large garage. He picked the most boring car they had so as to keep himself from wanting to speed to much to get to work. The black car was still sleek and it drove well. Getting in in a way that wouldn't wrinkle his suit horribly, Briony turned on the machine and headed off to his job. Many people had wondered why he didn't have a driver. He just preferred to do things on his own or rather for himself. Plus, there was more privacy that way. Layfon's smile grew when he saw the pretty little thing that he had bumped into. His trip might be more fun than he expected. "I just wanted to make sure I didn't hurt you." he explained, thou he found her looking quit confused at the mall's map. A bit of a wicked glint formed in his eyes, but only for the briefest moment. "You look a little lost. If you would like I can show you to the store you are looking for." he offered, figuring that it would sound polite and that she would accept.

Sophie saw the smirk and knew it was coming. She swallowed and braces herself for the question. She asked to go to the interview and Sophie instantly bit her lip. Sophie was a bit of a push over when it came to begging, and it bothered the hell out of her that she couldn't just tell people no. She gave a small shrug. "I-I don't know. It would be unprofessional, and the Hayes might be uncomfortable. It took a quite a bit to get them to agree to even speak to me after all.. I could introduce you afterwards maybe?" She said though she wasn't sure even that would be okay. She really wanted this to be the best of the only interviews they've done. Imagine if it did go perfectly well and she did impress her bosses with this it would be fantastic. "Oh cool, a new game? Do you have anyone to join it?" She asked hoping to avoid more pressuring about the Hayes interview. ------ Monica looked back to the boy and gave him a small smile. So he was offering to help? She noticed he seemed sincere enough, who really offers to help a stranger nowadays anyways? But there was something about him that had the 'smooth operator' deal going on, as Sophie called it. She'd seen enough of the pretty boys in the bar to know how they worked. But he was offering and she hardly wanted to wander around the mall like a lost lamb amoungst the sheep. "Oh, that's sweet of you." She said before motioning to the map that she had attempted to read. There was just too much going on on it to make much sense of it. "You wouldn't happen to know where I can find good movies around here, would you?"

Once distracted on the gamer tangent she totally forgot about begging to go. "No I'm the only one in my circle high enough level to get it not to mention I spent $200 dollars on the down load cost. It was so expensive ans you can't even start it until your in a party. But I'm so not getting stuck with high leveled noobs- no-no way in hell." She put her cup in the sink and went tot he door after her heading out to the car still mindlessly chatting about bits and pieces of the game she had read out of the down load preface. " OH and as a bonus we get to add some DLC! For modded game play! I"m so excited!" Giggling like a fan girl she flodde dint eh car with Sophine, slapping it into drive and headed off to her work place. She had been their a lot but it was a good waist of time.

The girl accepted his offer to help and that made Layfon smile. "Movies? I know just the place." He glanced at the map as a refresher or memory and then gave the girl another bright smile. "It's here-" He pointed at its location on the map. "But I can walk you there if you want. This place and be quite confusing when you aren't used to it." He was being polite and did in fact want to help the girl. Sure, were there maybe underlying hopes that he would see her again and something fun would come out of it, yea. Layfon had always been a nice guy, for the most part. He just also liked to have fun in a variety of ways. The mall wasn't incredibly crowded today since it was a weekday and late morning. Most people were in school or at their jobs. It still had quite a few people though. Layfon didn't want her getting lost. "Oh, I am Michael by the way." He said as an after thought, introducing himself. Suddenly, his phone went off and he gave her an apologetic smile. "Hello?" He answered it and found it to be Rowan. "Can you pick me up controller? The casing cracked on mine last night." Rowan asked. He was sitting on the ground in their backyard, trying to meditate when that thought had crossed his mind. Obviously he wasn't going to be getting a whole lot of that done. "Sure thing. The one for the PS3? Or that specialty one for your computer?" Layfon wanted to make sure that he was going to be getting the right one. "PS3. Oh and could you bring me back one of those pretzels from the food court. Thanks." With that Rowan hung up and Layfon had to cover the slight annoyed shock that had popped up on his face. Damn elves and their hearing. He hadn't even said he was at the mall. "Sorry about that. My brother wants me to pick him up some things." His voice held a bit of humor in it, though he was wondering why Rowan just didn't go out and get it himself. When Briony walked into the ground level of his office building, he knew that it was going to be a long day. Instantly, he was swamped with reporters. The guards managed to keep them off of him. He made it to the elevator in one piece, a rather angry scowl his expression after the elevator doors closed. They were asking him questions about information that wasn't supposed to be out for at least another month. He was surprised that they hadn't gotten him outside, but they were allowed in the lobby only because it made it easier for the guards to escort employees. If they were outside than everyone would be much unhappier. As soon as he got to his floor and the doors opened, he was swiftly walking towards his new goal. Pressing the com on the phone in his office, he let a trickle of anger show in his tone. "Bridget what is going on?" He tried to act calm but on the inside he was worried. This meant that there was a mole in their company and he was going to have to find it. A blip on his phone made a noise and a female voice filtered through. "The plans for the Nova Energy Source were leaked, sir. I have already started an internal investigation." A half smile flickered on Briony's face. At least the woman was quick on her toes. "Why wasn't I called immediately?" He questioned, his tone still sounding angry, though a bit disappointed. "I tried. It kept going to busy." With a huff he stopped the communication and sat down in his chair. Crossing one leg over the other, he leaned on the chair arm with his elbow; head pressed up against his fingers. Technology bothered him when it didn't work as it was supposed to. All calls from his office should have come up and notified him of it. Scowling, he turned on his computer. He had work to do today.

Sophie's breath caught in shock when she heard the price of this game. She hardly could afford that on a pair of shoes let alone on something she had no clue how to even play. She never understood Susanna's love for games, though sophie was a fantasy reader. She liked the thrill of a good story over the explosions and high maintence of a game. "200? For something you can't play?! It's official, you're addicted." She said as she sat back in her seat, rolling her eyes skyward. She was smiling however, since she was happy to hear at least she had something going on other than work or insanity like Sophie was caught up in. "Hey couldn't you use that forum thingie on the network to find some people to join the game with ya? There has to be someone out there that's a nice, avid gamer." She said remembering her ex used to play games that had to do with military stuff. He once got a game that made her nearly pass out, something with aliens and gore that was positively sick. She shook off the memory and looked to the busy road ahead. She was still on time as she believed, hopefully traffic wouldn't be too bad. ~~~ Monica liked that he was being polite, including the fact that he seemed to be happy to be helping. It was a nice gesutre on his part, especially when it was obvious she wasn't going to be able to find this place on her own. She had a horrible time with directions and to be honest she got distracted quite easily, like that morning with her music and the bagel. It would be unproductive for her to be tossed into a mall full of shops and told to find something. He seemed to be a bit all over the place himself, remembering to introduce himself as more a side note. Micheal...for some reason he didn't strike her as a Micheal, but hey, did any one really fit their names? He answered his phone suddenly and she was careful to glance around, trying not to listen in on the convo. It was kinda hard when it was a bit odd. She hardly pictured this guy as a gamer but then again, most people were into electronics in some way nowadays. When he finished and explained it was his brother he was talking to, she gave him a single shake of her head with a eased smile on her lips. "Nah it's okay, I get it. My sister's friend is an avid gamer." She said, musing to herself about Susanna's rants when she would come over to pick up Sophie. Mother disapproved heavily of Sophie hanging out with someone like Susanna and Father thought it was simply a phase Sophie was going through. Monica on the other hand was glad to see her sister branching out from the 'goody goody' and start living a little. "Anyways, I'm Monica, and yes, Micheal, it would be awesome if you could walk me there." She said, moving so that she could walk with him to wherever this store was. "I'd hate to get lost and confused in such a big place." There was a hint of humor in her voice, obvious saracasm that wasn't mean or meant to be anything but in good fun. She wasn't one to act the damsel in distress but she had no probelm relying on someone's help when she genuinely needed it.

Susanna laughed at Sophine calling her addicted to games," Its not an addiction its a healthy habit. What are you talking about?" She pursed her lips as she thought about using a forum, it was dangerous to do that but it was an option. She usually had very good luck and people often called her a snob gamer because she liked people her level or higher to team with only. " I'll look it up and put a post out... it can't hurt. Thanks for the suggestion I completely forgot about those." Stopping the car in front of the building she smiled," Have a good day at work, call me." After she dropped her off after a small good bye she went into her room and plopped down in her computer chair. Booting up the computer she trolled the forums for a short bit till she found a place to post where she needed a specific partner to lay this game.
Subject: NEED A PARTNER for new game DLC Message: 'Level 150 Sky Elf looking for a same level or higher-tactical or elf race partner to place newest DLC online portion. Contact me with your user profile my gamer name is ~Zelda~Assassin~. Gaming console is an elite system.'
After posting it she felt confident hat she was going to get at least one worth while post, there were only 500 people online on this site anyhow. There had to be one person here that was good enough.

“It is nice to meet you Monica.” Layfon responded with a smile and began walking, having her walk beside him. Her next words were laced with a humorous note of sarcasm, making him smile. “No, we wouldn’t want that.” He said with a bit of a half laugh. He could play more heavily on it if he wanted to and flirt with the girl, but he understood when circumstances would be unacceptable. Layfon may have been a bit of an airheaded playboy, but he knew when to bide his time with something. He fed off of the chase. He had refrained from feeding on the emotions of those he had intimate relationships for some time. These human were weak and unused to his kind. His first partner on this planet went into a depression and nearly killed themselves afterwards. Layfon was not used to such a weakness; the frailty that the humans in this world possessed. Where he was from, it was uncommon for humans to have no degree of magic so as to protect themselves. Now, to keep from going losing his own abilities, Layfon fed off the emotions in the chase. They were stronger and usually had less of a life force placed in them. It wasn’t nearly as satisfying, but he wouldn’t complain. He could just not absorb the emotions for his magic and let it die. That really wasn’t an option though. Without his glamor spells, Briony would never be able to leave the house and Rowan would look more alien. Layfon himself would also suffer. It was imperative for their survival in this world that didn’t have their kind. Therefore it was unavoidable that he steal the energy given off by emotions. Eventually they made their way to the store. Layfon led Monica up an escalator and nearly to the other side of the mall. They found themselves in front of a large store with yellow red lights spelling ‘Volcanic Videos.’ “Well, here you are.” Layfon said, smiling a bit sheepish like. “If you want, I can help you look for movies?” There was a questioning tone in his voice, his face looking completely innocent and almost boyish. He did want to help, but that didn’t mean there weren’t underlying factors. He wasn’t doing it to go after the girl as a predator or anything. He just thought that they might actually get along. She wasn’t speechless or stuttering like many girls that he encountered. It was definitely a nice change of pace. Then again, Layfon wasn’t sure if she knew who exactly he was. If she found out her attitude might change. ----- After another half hour outside, Rowan decided to go inside. He had skipped most of his meditation and had gone straight into the magics. He had to be careful around the plants though. The last time one of the trees had caught on fire, Briony had chased him around with a kitchen knife. It hadn’t really be a fun night---Layfon couldn’t stop laughing though. Sitting on his computer, his right index finger tapped on his mouse, not quite clicking down hard enough to actually click. He was trying to figure out what to do. He had to wait till later tonight to get to play the new edition to one of his favorite games. He knew everything about it, probably more than quite a few of those who even reported on it or put up videos online. The company that produced the game was affiliated with their electronics company. It was impossible to play unless you had a partner. Lower levels would need to do some work before they could effectively accomplish anything. That or they would need to have large parties. It was complex and required a keen mind for some of the puzzles that were going to be integrated in a few of the new quests. Rowan was completely excited for it, though he had no idea who he would be using as a partner. As he thought of that, he found a forum all about the particular game he had been mulling over in his mind. There was a section for requests and when he clicked on it, he found a flurry of others asking for partners. He clicked on the newest one and read it. His eyebrow quirked up in interested. They were quite the high level, though not quite what he was at. It was impressive as there were relatively few that reached level 150. They were also a Sky Elf. How humorous. Rowan had chosen an Elf as his character as well. He had picked Dark Elf for the sole reason that they could cast fire magic with more efficiency than the others. He found it near hilarious. Most people were pretending to be something and someone they weren’t on these games. Rowan was trying to recreate himself in a way. Clicking on the reply tab, he began typing a message in response. --------- Message: Hey. If you want, I think I could be a valuable partner. I’m a level 198 Dark Elf. I need a partner too (obviously) so I think that we could try out a partnership. My gamer name is Fire~Hayes. --------- Roan chuckled a bit at his name, a play on words and his surname in this world. Not many people seemed to get the play on words. Hayes, when pronounced, sounded like haze. No one would get it perfectly since they didn’t know that he had control of elemental fire. ----- Briony wanted to hit something very, very hard. His knuckles were turning white as he clenched them beneath his desk, his eyes green right now as he stared directly at the man sitting in front of him. The mousy looking man looked fearful but smug at the same time. How he pulled it off, Briony wasn’t quite sure. This was the man that leaked information for money. Apparently he had a grudge against this company; something that didn’t even make sense. Frowning, Briony leaned forward, clasping his hands together on top of his desk. They couldn’t just fire this man; his actions were going to cause quite some problems. Sighing, Briony proceeded to speak to the traitor in as calm a voice. A half an hour later and the man was escorted from the building. He sat in his chair for a few minutes, calming himself so as to not have an incident with the glamor spell covering his inhumane appearance. Finally he took a breath and pressed the com link. “Start finding me applicants to replace him. I will do the interviewing and hiring this time.” He then leaned back in his chair and massaged his temples. He was somewhat regretting agreeing to the interview now.

Sophine was relieved she arrived on time, meaning she wouldn't have to listen to Conners rant. She walked up to the stairs, prefering to take them rather than the crowded elevators. When she got to the sixth floor, she made her way into the office space where everyone was hard at work on the magazine. The Editors group was talking near the elevator drop off since they were probably on their way up to marketing and towards printing. Sophine only stayed on the writing floor and hadn't really seen much of the other parts of the building. She fidgeted with her purse as she searched through it for her thumb drive and the information she had written down for the review she had looked over last night. She was glad that the work load would be lighter today than usual, giving her enough time to rehers some of the questions she wanted to ask in the interview tonight. She hadn't looked up at her desk on her way there, making her almost smack into a woman that was waiting there. Sophie's eyes widdened when she saw the red heels from over her purse and quickly she looked up to find Margret there. She was a pretty woman, one that half the men in the office wanted to bang while the other half had already done so. One would think with her looks she'd have no real brains, but Margret was quite good at what she did as a reporter for the paper. It earned her a very reputable name in the industry and she was one of the queen bees of the office. Not to mention she was a cold hearted bitch to most everyone, except Conners. Sophie hadn't been spared her wrath, though Margret tended to give her some leniency because Sophie was a submissive person. It showed when Sophie actually averted her eyes and her head fell a little. "H-Hello Margret. How have you been?" "Busy. Like you." Sophie was confused at first but soon she found out. Margret leaned in, her icy blue eyes focusing in on Sophie's brown ones. Sophie gulped and staggered back a little, but Margret's intense look of irritation didn't fade. "I don't know what you did to land the Hayes interview, but I'm not about to lay down and let some newbie take my spot light. Don't you forget that." She snipped in a low tone before she turned on her heels and sauntered off in the direction of the Editors. Sophie gave a small sigh, not quite understanding why Margret would be so angry about an interview. She didn't have time to think much on it before she saw Conners waving her toward his office door. Sophie groaned internally but quickly made her way over to Conners. "Good morning, Soph. So got any good news for me...?" He said as he made his way to his desk and plopped into his plush chair. Sophie took a seat in one of the chairs infront of his desk, grabbing the file from her purse. "Very good..I got the interview." Conner's smile brightly and did a small fist pump. "Yes! I knew you had it in you Soph!" "It, sir?" She asked with a small bit of confusion. She was awkward as hell talking to the Hayes brother she met, what it could he be talking about? "It! You know, the social gift. You have some kind of cute disposition, something sweet that people respond to. Not to mention I'm sure your looks also played a factor..." He shrugged. "That's not important. Give me the details." Sophie was a bit awkward by what Conners said but she nodded and opened the file. "The Hayes brothers agreed to an interview tonight at 6:30. I am to go to their residence and asked the guidlined questions--" "And about the recent release of their latest project." Sophie nodded, though she wasn't sure what Conners was talking about. "Yes..and they want to see the story before its printed..." Conners looked a bit thrown off but he quickly composed himself with a small raise of his brow. "Why? Damn do these people always have to be so difficult..fine. When are they coming in for photo?" Sophie blinked. "Um...photo?" Conners gave her an irritated sigh. "Yes, Soph, the interview is going to be the cover story! We need a photo, hun." He turned in his chair and plucked a magazine issue off his shelf and tossed it on the desk infront of her. Sophie saw the photo of one of the Olympians from last year and she gave a small gulp. She hadn't mentioned the photo. Would this possibly kill the chances for the interview? She swallowed hard but shook off her worry. There had to be a way to convince them. Just had to be. If they had listened to her mixed up rambles before then they could possibly agree to a photo. ~~~ Monica was happy to have found someone who knew where they were going. She looked at the mall around her as they walked, taking in all the pretty things within reach but not. She was a bit of a crow when it came to pretty things. She liked to look her best and shopping was a way she vented stress. Not that she was exactly stressed now....She shook off the thoughts of what had driven her to visit her sister in the first place and before she realized it she was infront of the store. She looked to the sign for a moment when he said that they were there. She smiled a little at the title. It was original and had a nice ring to it. She looked at him when he mentioned helping her look for a movie. And here she was just thinking she'd have to say goodbye to her cute companion. He even had that innocent look on his face that definately caused her a bit of warmth to reach her cheeks. So he was actually wanted to hang out with her for this long? She wasn't sure just how she caught his interest to invest time in, but she wouldn't deny it made her feel a little girlish at how she wanted to spend a little more time in his company. He seemed nice and hey, what a better deal if he actually knew good movies... She gave him a bit of a curious look at his request to help her. "Hmm, I dunno. We might not have the same tastes." She said beofre she walked into the store. It was hardly a definate answer. She wanted him to give him an option to follow if he really wanted to or leave if he didn't. She picked up a movie with a shiny cover that caught her eye but it seemed to be rather random choice, an action movie it seemed with spies and explosions. She glanced up at Micheal who was only a few feet away at the entrance. She flipped the movie around to show him and pointed to it with a raised brow a sort of 'Any good?' look.

She was trolling a few minutes till when she refreshed the page she had a message hit, her eye brows crunched in thought she pressed view. reading it her eyes light up bright, hitting reply. Message:Absolutely Fire~Hayes, that would be awesome! How did you level that far isn't there a level cap?Any how Wanna play now? or I'm guessing your busy....I don't wanna bug yours schedule or anything... Sending it she was excited hoping they could play now while her friend was at work then she could help her with the interview then return to her reality with in the game. She loved her sky elf- they were archers but they also had a healer type abilities- it was great having a heal button at your whim. Her kind of character was also very hard to level and was annoying to get skills for but she took the challenge on after beating all the other toons she could at the level cap of 165- this Fire~Hayes must really be a player to have mastered the level cap. She hadn't figured out yet if any one elven could besides the game sages.

Layfon’s jaw almost fell open at Monica’s response. Instead, he grinned in a nearly wicked fashion as she walked into the store. Oh, he liked her already. At least, he liked what he had seen so far. Toning down his grin into something softer, he followed her in, hands in his pockets. Looking at the checkout clerk, he internally sighed. At least it wasn’t one of the workers that knew him from before he got famous. There was an older guy that just loved to shout hello when he saw him here. It was free publicity for their shop. Oh lookey, a Hayes brother shops here. All of you common folk should shop here too, kind of spiel. When he caught up to Monica, she had a movie with a shiny cover in her hands. Her looked made him put on a thoughtful expression as he thought about the movie that was in her hand. He thought he remembered seeing it at one point in time. Alcohol may have been involved so it was choppy. “If you don’t care about plot, its pretty good.” He told her with a cheerful look on his face. His hand reached for the newest horror movie that was sure to start into a series. He hadn’t gotten a chance to see it in theaters so it was something he contemplated buying. Horror wasn’t always his first choice, but he found them entertaining, especially the one that really lacked any realistic value. He couldn’t watch them around Briony as the faune would get nightmares and Rowan would be grumpy for the next few days afterwards. It wasn’t really that they didn’t like the gore; it was that certain experiences made them prefer not to watch. Layfon had only asked each of them once and he had gotten vague answers that had let him know the gist of why. They had very personal reasons and he understood them. It just meant that he had to bring someone over to watch it with him. He didn’t like the jumpy girls as their screams were too much for his ears. Guys on the other, they could take it a bit better and were more fun afterwards. ---- Rowan watched a video online before returning to see if there had been a response to his earlier reply. To his happy shock, there was. He read over it and smirked with a self-satisfied grin. Yes there was a ‘level cap’ and yes he had gotten over it. It helped that he had contacted the makers after getting to the cap. He was frustrated and bored and they let him go further. It wasn’t like he needed their help though; it was something that could be accomplished if you knew the right way around it.
Message: There is a cap and I might let you in on the secret…..if your nice. Also, I am free now. I’ll get on and we can see how good a team we make. :happy dance:
Rowan thought it would be funny to see how his new gaming partner would react to his tease about information. If she proved to be a valuable player and a nice person then he would think about getting her character to go past the level cap. Getting the game up, he sat back in his desk chair. Everything booted up quickly and he had the game up and running within minutes. He added ~Zelda~Assassin~ to his friends list and it sent out a message asking to be her friend. If she agreed than they could form a party. It wasn’t near as cool as the new DLC version would be. But it was enough to get to know how each other worked. ---- ((Vamp is this a computer or game system game and do they have to type to talk or actually talk through mics. Also, I am not going to go through Briony’s work day. It is way to dull. Haha))

Monica's nose wrinkled at the idea of a bad story. She wasn't one to go for just the explosions and craziness. She loved a good story and the suspense it brought to the movies progress. It was part of why she liked horror movies. Many would take her for the romantic comedy type, and sure she watched a bit of everything but horror was probably her favorite. Too bad it scared the hell out of Sophine. As she put the movie back, she glanced at his pick and instantly her face lit up with curious interest. "That's the new one that came out from Paramount right?" She asked though it was more of a thought. She glanced at the title and gave a nod to herself in confirmation. "Looked like a good time. Everyone I knew was too chicken to go see it though, so that should say something about the quality. Good choice." She went over to another movie in the horror section and she picked one that was a bit older but had a creepy cover of a face against a bloody mirror. "This ones pretty good. Scared the hell out of my sister and even had me checking a dark corner or two afterwards." She joked, since she actually kind of liked the thrill of being scared. Not that she was one of those kids that would sleep in a cemetary or do something stupid like that, but she did enjoy the uncertainty of it. Unlike Sophie, she prefered her control to not stretch too far, only to herself and no one else. ~~~ Sophie finally got out of her talk with Conners after she swore she would get them totally on board with being the cover story. She knew fully well that was going to take some effort, but just how much she wasn't quite sure. She walked to her desk and got back to correcting the column she was given. Every so often she would stop and read over the questions for the interview to keep them fresh in her mind. She scribbled notes here and there, trying to find ways and things to ask to keep this interesting for readers. Not that the mundane questions weren't nice, but as a writer she felt the need to make them more personal and creative instead of the blah text they were going to make her say. She was a person not a computer, besides her words would be easier to say than theirs right?

She kept refreshing the page til he responded back with in a few moments, she smiled getting all giggly about the tease of information. Turning she jumped out of her chair and booted up her system, sitting in her curved gamer chair and putting on her headset. When it loaded she had a friends request, opening the small message it was Fire~Hayes, she smiled an added him and invited him to a personal party chat, she hated typing things out so she preferred her headset to talk to others. She waited patiently knowing he was probably waiting on her, and she was wasting his time, but she turned around and closed out her computer screen, making sure not to ruin the monitor since it was an alien ware model it was too expensive to take little chances with. Picking back up- her controller she smiled when he accepted the request. "That little bit of information...I'm sure we can come to an agreement. Anyhow Hi. Thanks for agreeing to be my partner on the new DLC!" She sounded excited but her usual sarcasm was present. She loaded up the game and waited for the party search for his screen name to pop up.
