One of the hardest questions for the brothers came first. Rowan and Layfon would let Briony do the talking unless it was something about them. They might say something here or there when it was about all of them. Briony was the better speaker and was almost guaranteed to have the information down pat. It was something he was good at and he also was the one to come up with most of the ideas. To be blunt, Briony had his head more in this world than the other two when it came to information about other countries. He was going to be changing that though. “We were born in England on an American military base. Our mother was a native and our father was in the military.” He spoke slowly and in a bit of a less formal tone. He didn’t want to throw big words in there because that could be confusing for someone who was writing everything down. “It was different over there. We didn’t have many kids our age of course and our father was often not home.” Briony shrugged his shoulders. “Our mother passed away two years after Micheal was born from an aneurism. I was only eight at the time so I couldn’t take care of my brothers yet and my father had duties to his country. We went to go and live with our mother’s parents. There were more kids there and we grew more social.” He paused and smiled, looking over to Rowan. “If I remember correctly you had the biggest crush on the neighbor girl.” Rowan’s eyes widened some in shock that Briony had mentioned such a thing as it wasn’t originally in the script. “Shut up, no I didn’t!” He frowned and crossed his arms over his chest. Layfon started laughing some. “Yes you did. Granma even took a picture of you two kissing.” Rowan’s cheeks turned a shade of pink and he looked grumpy. Briony smiled some and turned back to the girls across from him. “Five years later our father was sent home and we went with him to go live in America. He lived in the East coast and so we went to live with him. The schooling was much different and we had a hard time with history as we had learned different things---“ He was cut off by Rowan sniggering now. “No, you had a hard time with history, brother. Michael and I had no problems.” Briony frowned and blinked slowly. “It’s okay, Oliver. We know you don’t like to look bad.” Layfon commented and patted his brother on the shoulder. It was a bit of a detour from their original plan but so had him making fun of Rowan. Rowan had guessed it was payback for not answering his phone earlier but oh well. “Do you have anything specific you want to know?” Rowan then asked, breaking away from the dry story. It was rather bland but the boys didn’t know all exactly what she was looking for. They weren’t used to interviews that weren’t about the company.
((I''m not just being vague because it's a made up story but because this is an alternate universe. Also, I am sure you guys know that if one of your parents is American you automatically get US citizenship.))

Sophie wrote quickly, her pen glidding across the lines of the paper. Her notes were smooth and word for word, though most people would probably find it impossible, and she finished only moments after they stopped speaking. She looked over her writing and then to the men. Their story was interesting very much so. A father in the miliatry and a mother as a civilian. And to lose her so young. They went through quite an adventure as a family. But she wasn't there to over analyze their past, though she herself would have loved to ask about England and their life their, but Futures was about the modern life and the future. She would however tie it all together. "That's very interesting. It must have been such a large change to come from over an ocean to a new country to live. Do you think your childhood affected your career choice?" She siad as she spoke with them.
Monica watched her sister work and wondered just how Sophie was doing. She looked uneasy before but now she seemed okay. She looked to Susanna and gave her a raise of her brow. They were suposed to be quiet but she was finding it hard to sit there silently.

Suzanna felt eyes on her and she found Monica raising her brow at her over her sister's change. Smiling she leaned over and whispered to her," This is her work self... Other than that she is a nervous wreck." She held in a snicker. She developed this persona a little bit ago whens he started this job since she was a nervous wreck but once she mastered this she was smooth even a better listener, watcher, and all around her skills were heightened she was proud of her.

Briony would be lying if he said that he wasn't impressed by how Sophine had changed her demeanor. It reminded him of himself in a way. It was quite a nice change in how she acted and Briony found himself relaxing into his chair somemore. So far, this wasn't going horribly. "Yes, it was a bit of culture shock." Briony mused outloud and Layfon shook his head in agreement, " I remember coming home one day crying because the othe kids made fun of how I spoke." The youngest brother bit his lip after he said it and looked a bit sheepish, shrugging his shoulders lightly. Briony didn't answer Sophine's next question right away. He paused with a bit of a thoughtful look on his face that softened some. "I suppose you might say that my childhood influenced my career." He shifted in his seat some. "My senior year I was pulled out of classes. I was then told that during a training exercise our father's plane suffered multiple malfunctions, one of which being that his chair would not eject. E plane crashed and he died on impact. From the on I had to take care of my brothers." heaused and then smiled some, Rowan gripping him on the shoulder in support. The elf knew that there was only one thing he could be thinking of that would make him look that sad, the death of his family. "I decided that I wanted to make sure that something like that didn't happen to anyone else.I suppose you could call that a reason for me choosing to go into the industry of technology." Briony thought it was a good reaso and glanced at both of his brothers. The other two had sad but proud looks on their faces. It was going well, Briony was glad to think.

Sophine hadn't expected to be told of their father's death, but qhat could she expect. Three men sticking so close together when all of them were equally capable just seemed to scream a bond that went deeper than wealth. They were the true sense of what brothers were it seemed, even if they looked quite different. "So you would say that that was the key moment for you that struck the possibility of the corporation?" She asked just to reaffirm the thought. It was quite a situation to over come, the loss of both parents and in such horrible ways. At least they stayed close. She'd seen so much less tear apart a family. "Well you have a very strong family connection. It's easy to see and admirable. But have any of you noticed any sort of change in your family dynamic now since you've quite literally stormed the city spot light? Is that dynamic the reason for your approach to living with your wealth? I noticed your home and the lack of staff. It's a rare sight amoungst those with your degree of income." She asked, since it was a rumor amoungst the other rich of the city that they were prudes with their money or perhaps even investing it in odd places. No one could figure why the Hayes wouldn't own a mansion somewhere or go extreme with their money since they were so young. It was an odd comodity in todays age.
Monica glanced at Sophine as Susanna spoke. "Really? I never noticed." She said with a bit of her own humor. Her sister was always a worrier and sometimes she let it get the better of her. "So you know the other oldest? Lucky girl." She kept her voice low and barely a whisper since she was still listening to the conversation. She had been slightly caught up in their back story and Michael's tale of people making fun of his accent. She was surprised. People were usually enamored with accents.

Susanna smiled," Yeah we are gaming buddies in a way. Played the new DLC.... it was so beast! We even got a rare dragon." She said in a low talking tone knowing it wouldn't interrupt the conversation but she was just too excited to whisper any more. She glanced over at her gaming buddy, it was weird to know some one like this, she usually hug out either the rejects and the broke kids.

“Yes, I would say that was the ‘key moment.’” Briony responded, using Sophine’s own words. He would rather get off the topic of their past as quickly as possible. It wasn’t that they hadn’t planned everything out, it just made it harder to cover their tracks. The more elaborate the lie, the easier it would be to get caught eventually. There was no way he could explain in a way that these humans would understand. Their minds just didn’t seem to want to comprehend the fact that there were such things as fairy tales, though it seemed that they were from another world. The next question almost felt like a loaded gun. If it was answered wrong it would only fuel the rumors going around. Briony had tried to keep his brothers from the rumors but he knew they were intelligent. They were smart enough to figure things out after all. Rowan and Layfon kept their mouths shut. They would be no use in this question that needed a properly worded answer. Once she got to more personalized questions, then they would be more talkative. “I personally haven’t notice any change in dynamic.” Briony began and looked to his two brothers. Both of them shook their heads ‘no’ in agreement with Briony. “If anything we have become closer.” Layfon spoke up and Rowan smiled. “We were always self-sufficient growing up. Are father taught us to depend on ourselves which is the reason for there being no staff. We want to do things for ourselves and who would want to clean a mansion without help, I wouldn’t.” Briony smiled some and then leaned forward as if he was going to tell a secret. “Plus, I don’t want the power to go to our heads, eh.” He gave Sophine a wink and chuckled some, trying to put off a light hearted air that was somewhat opposite from his inner emotions. He was calming some but the storm was still brewing. “Also, to point out the fact that we aren’t really all that stingy without money, Micheal spends a fortune on clothing every year, Jack has to have the newest model of any gaming system out there, and I have a rather large collection of books.” He paused and smiled. “Oh, and did I forget to mention the fact that our yard is the size of two football fields. It was not a cheap thing to have done.” Image was a very important thing when you were of the social status that the Hayes were at. It might seem petty but if your image faltered than your business could be in some trouble. Briony just hoped that Sophine would word it in a better way than what he had said; hopefully she wouldn’t quote him and she could just work it into the story. Briony of course had asked to see the article before it was printed. Rowan and Layfon were a bit surprised that he mentioned their spending habits. It was a bit uncharacteristic, but Rowan figured it had to do with some of the rumors going around. Apparently, it was bad for men their age to not spend a lot of money openly. Well, it wasn't like they were actually as young as they claimed to be. "I don't spend that much on clothes." Layfon pouted some, frowning at Briony. "Oh come on, you bought thirty hats last year. Thirty! Who needs thirty hats?" Rowan responded, rolling his eyes at the younger man's silliness.
((yes I did rush through it >.<))

Sophine smiled at the talk of their self-sufficient life style and about cleaning mansions. It was true and completely understandable, just still a rare sight. When he talked about their spending a question popped into her head. It was a personal question that was a bit more laxed on an answer. She couldn't keep grilling them with tough questions or else she'd make them uncomfortable. "So books, shopping, and video game consoles. These apart of your hobbies correct?" She wanted a bit more on their personalities since she figured out the dynamic pretty well. Oliver was the head of this little family, she believed he was the hand that guided the corporation and his family at the same time. He was a powerful figure and someone his brothers respected to carry that title. Jack, the second oldest, was possibly the levelheaded one of the group, kept things stable in the home. He was possibly not a recluse but maybe just preferred quiet. And Michael held the younger brother position, the person who kept things light and busy. He was obviously more social and the one most likely in the social scene.
Monica was lost at talk of video games, she just assumed you turned it on and ran around. She'd never played RPG's or anything that told her differently. "Cool, so you met online. Good that he didn't turn out to be a 40 year old serial killer." She said since that was usually her sisters first assumption when Monica talked to people on online chats on a site that was made to pin point the night life of the city. Someone threw an open party at their mansion or some kind of deal was going on at the clubs here, they posted it there and it sent out to the multitude of people.

She smiled at Monica," If the 40 year old serial killer looked like him- I really wouldn't mind." She whispered back to Monica with a smirk as she looked at Michael as he made fun of his little brother. She did find it funny that they spent so much money but 30 hats was too many, when could he even wear them all? "One for every holiday?" She asked to the general conversation before Sophine asked about their hobbies. It was a good comment however she didn't know if her opinions were welcome.

“Don’t get him started on the hats he has for holidays.” Briony joked when Susanna asked about Layfon’s hats. He could be fun too. Layfon scowled but perked up when Sophine asked about their hobbies. He took the liberty of speaking before his brothers did. “Yes, shopping is fun for me but I swimming is my absolute favorite thing to do.” “That and shots.” Rowan mumbled and Layfon shot him a dirty look. “Be nice, Jack.” Briony warned but he had a light expression on his face indicating that he wasn’t mad by the comment. He wasn’t worried about Sophine writing anything negative in about them. If he didn’t like what was said than he would just have it taken out and if they didn’t; well Briony had ways to make another company hurt. “As was mentioned already, I do enjoy video games but I also like to read and sometimes I try to cook.” Rowan decided that he would expand on his interests next. He didn’t like to really go into detail as of what he enjoyed doing very much. In fact, he didn’t often mention the fact that he played video games. To call it a habit would be an understatement and he would rather not go into the fact that he played them too much. Briony was third and last to answer the question about hobbies. He didn’t have anything about his hobbies to hide, minus the supernatural ways in which he did some of them. “I like to read, similar to Jack, but I also enjoy gardening and I play a few instruments.” He could go into detail, as could all of the brothers if Sophine decided to ask more about it. These were the questions that Briony felt much more comfortable with. His brothers could answer them with more honesty and it felt better on Briony’s conscience to not outright lie as they had with where they had come from.
((Sorry my response is a bit unorganized. I'm trying to slip in a post or two right now. Been busy))

Sophine let humor slip into her look and she glanced at Monica when they mentioned the shopping and shots. She saw her smiling to herself, an obvious sign she was holding back a bit of laughter. Monica was stiffling a laugh at the mention of hobbies and the light dig Jack used on his brother. So he didn't keep his party life a mystery from his brothers? Not to mention the hat comment was something that tickled her. It reminded her of her 'shoe hoarding' as Sophine called it. Sophine quickly had to stiffen back up, seeing as she needed to get down to the real heart of things. As they spoke of their hobbies, she scribbled off notes to the side to connect them to personality traits. She couldn't dig too much into hobbies however, since people would be more concerned with their business rather than personal ife. Futures was a magazine targetted to mass media in mostly the business and working world. You couldn't make an article strictly based on the people. Then you just end up like Starz and Vogue. But it was a bit strange how versatile their hobbies were. It wasn't exactly what she expected, to say the least. Usually people in business claim to be fans of things pretaining to their work, not that it was a big deal to. She couldn't really see Michael in a pool actually swimming laps or see Jack playing a game, well mostly because she associated gamers with Susanna. She was even a bit surprised to hear that Oliver liked gardening. 'Guess I'm not so good at reading people' She thought before she offered a polite smile. "That's quite a variety. And I'm sure people will find it interesting." She said since she herself actually was interested. She looked down at the page for a moment and pin pointed a gap in her notes. That wouldn't do... "Mind I back track a little to the topic of schooling? What level did each of you achieve? And by any chance these hobbies drive any of you to get involved with anything in your schools?" She was trying to connect everything together so the story would flow better.

Suzanna snickered unlike the Monica next to her who was trying to keep a straight face. When Jack mentioned video games she smiled, thinking about their little gaming adventure. It still made her smile on how they had gotten a special type dragon. Zoning back into the conversation, she heard Sophie redirect back to the boring stuff- nothing about the guys and how they were super hot and epic...and... hot... She re thought her sentence and couldn't figure out what was wrong with it... Shifting in her seat she decided her hair was annoying her hair and began fussing with it, putting it up into a messy pony tail, leaving some bangs out because that's just hat she liked to do.

When Sophine asked about their schooling, Briony had to resist the urge to frown. This wasn’t the hardest part to fake, but he found that it was a bit more difficult to talk about. He knew as much as one did with the degree he was going to say he possessed, but that was due to constant reading and experience. He didn’t actually go to school for that many years. That being said, Rowan did in fact go to school for his associates degree so at least one of them wasn’t really lying. “I have a MBA.” Briony said with a soft smile while Rowan nodded his head. “I have an associate’s degree in game design.” They both then glanced at Layfon who shrugged his shoulders and smiled sheepishly. “I was on the swimming team in high school.” Briony and Rowan smiled at him, humor on their faces. “I was kind of a recluse doing school but I did work at the library.” Rowan responded in a nonchalant manner. He really didn’t care if others thought it was weird. There were plenty of famous rich people who weren’t good at socializing. Well, it wasn’t as if was bad at it, Rowan just preferred smaller groups of people who he trusted. The list included Rowan and Layfon. No more, no less; as of now. “I was part of FBLA and I also was in a few other clubs like creative writing. Outside of school I volunteered at a few shelters and took music lessons.” Briony gave away a bit of what he did during school; Layfon frowned in his brothers general direction. He knew he could have been somewhat successful like his brothers, but that just wasn’t who he was. It almost made him sound like the black sheep of the family. “Oh and Michale, you forgot to mention your junior military academy.” Briony added and Layfon gave him a smile. “Yea, I wanted to be like my dad when I was little.” He smiled at the girls and scratched the back of his head, not really wanting to go into the ‘reasons’ why he wasn’t in the military now. Rowan's eyes glanced towards Susanna when she began moving around some, pinning her hair up except for a few strands that you might call bangs. She was quite an attractive woman, for a human at least. He smirked at the thought and put his mind back into the conversation. Layfon had been casting glances at Monica the whole time. He had been watching her and Susanna have a whispered conversation. All the while, Briony had caught them looking at the women. This couldn't end well, he feared.
((This sucks, I know. =[. Sorry))

(Nah it's all good. It answered the question lol) Sophine made sure she to take down the schooling and proper information. She looked over her notes again, back tracked to quotes and made sure she had it all down. There could be a major problem if she didn't print things word for word after all. She'd seen countless other magazines sued for misplaced information. Not to mention, she was dealing with a very influential family. Should she screw up even a minor detail...well not only would the story not be printed but she risked upsetting them. That wasn't something she would ever feel comfortable with with anyone. She didn't like having anyone angry with her and didn't want to collect a big group here. "I see. Well I think the hard part is over gentlemen." She said with a bit of humor that she allowed. She knew it must be awkward for someone to be digging into your past, almost like they were searching for anything to ding you on. "Now onto the nearer present. Not many people really know the beginings of your business. The investors or tasks that really went into the projects and provided it's foundation are also a bit of a frey area. But in totality of the situation, from what you came from to now, do you believe your family struggled to get to where you are now?" She asked, knowing it was one of those dumb questions that everyone had to ask but it was really a very open question. It could be answered very differently and could hold even surprising answers.
Monica observed her nails, for a moment wondering if she was wrong not to get them done earlier. She would have gone some time when she was free today but...seems like plans changed. She wondered in the first place if maybe she made a wrong choice. She normally wasn't one to regret things she did but if it did risk her sisters job...well she had to at least be sympathetic. But for some reason she had taken a leap of trust for Michael, and possibly made a smart choice with that. After all, who all could say that sat in the Hayes house listening to their life story?

Watching Sophie got threw her notes she waited, wondering how much longer it was going to be, until her phone went off. She slapped her hand down on her pocket and dug her phone out, a surprised and embarrassed look on her face as she got up and went back into the hallway she had come in at. Answering it with a harsh whisper she sounded angry," This better be good or so help you." There was a bit oh hesitation on the other side but then they spoke. "Well, Fine I won't tell you about the new P2 pets for the game... they are coming out in two days." Her friends smooth voice buzzed in her ear as she listened, keeping her excitement to herself. "What kinds do they have? Besides the mounting type? any fighter types?" "Girl to my heart. Yes, They have a new Faun, A Succubus, A bear, Forest Nymphs-there are different types but they are a paint o catch. But that's the newest game intake. I just got out of the staff meeting. Thought you would wanna know." She was smiling and she kept her scram in and did it in her head. She was so excited- she loved having random pets in her game, it gave her a distraction form the usual grind of leveling and drop hunting and such. "Oh thank you thank you! I appreciate it! She said in her excited whisper as she glanced in the mirror at her hair, wondering if it was okay looking. "Well before you go can I ask if you wanted to go out for some food later?" " I have to go, I'm kinda in the middle of something..." she didn't even hear what he had asked her, she simply hung up her head on the track of if her hair looked nice. He hung up the phone and frowned at it, she always did this. Dumb girl was scatter brained. Sighing he put his phone away and went back to his office and began typing up some ode on the computer for the upcoming game update.
