His eyes followed the angel and he moved as though the action had been anticipated, However as the blade swung to his hands it simply went through the flesh- like water-No damage done and the orb remained in its hand. Mein gave a smirk as it kicked up the field of blood a bit from its feet and looked towards Michael. It was then taking blood from the enemies that had already fallen to its feet- making the pool of blood at his feet darker and larger. Dariell frowned at Michael as he went for his hands. "Umm- Michael? Might i make a suggestion?" She called over to him since she was out of the way not wanting her blood in that mess. Mein was patient as he stood there having heard Dariell speak, knowing this wasn't simple as it looked or sounded. "So you know- your going about this the wrong way. His weapon isn't the answer." She said with a slight frown, her forehead wrinkled a bit as she spoke to him. "And Mein you know better then to go after some ones' wings- its painful." She turned a slightly scolding tone to the other demon making it blood field stutter a little, it paused a moment before it started spinning the opposite direction, a few drops having fallen from inactivity. -------------------------- The angel came armed it seemed, that made him smirk however when she went on abut how demon's only responded to violence he shook his head. "We may be complex but we come by it honestly really, though we respond to words as much as the next being- violence is only an action-just as any other thing, we speak and think on our own." He commented back to her letting her know she had her opinion only half right. His eyes barely moved as the dagger was launched at him, it was coming fast so he did what he could do honestly to stop the blade quickly. The blue essence from his arm suddenly extended and in an odd manner made a shield by his arm- making a sound when the blade hit it, thought it hit the ground- making him step away from it- not liking it- it had felt odd to him on contact. It was sky related and he didn't like it since he had ore in his arms- making his a weapon thought it was a good shield it still took damage- only a little. "Well, for an angel your quick to jump to actin in a violent manner, usually i like to talk things out but it seems you don't wish as such."

Michael looked to Dariell when she spoke, his attention shifting because she was trying to offer advice over this. The attention shift caused him to miss a movement Mein made, drawing more blood into the air, till the air got darker and more red. He sank out of the cloud and gave the demoness a rather confused look. Well obviously the attack on the weapon hadn't worked, but how the hell did you get something like this to leave if it was healing itself and not taking damage? He couldn't just tell it leave could he? If he could then why the hell didn't she do it already? Instead this thing was causing more damage and polluting the surface that needed to be cleared so some semblance of normal could take back over. ~~~ Raphael watched how the demon reacted to her attack, her feather's ruffling slightly in a thrill. Oh, so this demon had a defense. This made things much more fun then the countless others she had turned to ash before...She didn't expect to outlive tis war, not since the Goddess was back in the heavens and content, and the other angels wouldn't be too happy with her for siding on the wrong side. She would rather die fighting than be banished as a fallen angel. The horror of the idea would influence any angel to do anything possible to avoid it. At his comment of her being quick to violence, she offered him a quick emotionless smile. "I never claimed to be like my brethren." And that she wasn't. She was a copy of the original, a creature created as a punishment to the original. She was perfectly content as such, she had no soul to care over anyways. She was meant to be a servant to the goddess, anything she needed. She would give her life for an order and her order currently was to kill as many demons as possible. So this one would be a nice addition to the count. "Are you going to continue to bore with trivial drivel or are you going to face your own demise creature?" She asked wanting to make a move instead of arguing semantics of the differences of their races.

At Michael's look she frowned at him since he didn't seem to want to respond to her. Dariell sighed before looking back at Mein and gave him a light smile. "I guess he doesn't wanna play any more my love. Perhaps its best we leave, no use for sour company." She said almost sounding different and not pleased with Michael. The blood field dissipated in a second and he was on the ground feet standing in the large puddle that sloshed to the ground a second before. She gave Michael a catty look before moving to Mein's side- both disappearing into a wave of black fog. Seh was giggling hysterically before looking to Michael. "Oohh- you pissed her off. Way to go!" She giggled lightly to him before turning attention to the rest of the demons who were not doubt confused on their new coarse of action. "Retreat. There is no more fun to be had here- the angle's have spoiled our fun." She said in a mocking tone- getting hisses in response, though they did as they were told. Leaving a hole on the field obviously curbing it. Rin started shifting from the large monster he had been into a small figure, his sister getting a smile on her lips to have her noisy brother back. "Its been a pleasure Michael." He said to the large angel before taking his sisters' arm and disappearing. It took very short time for Genie to arrive to see Michael looking a little stunned at how the went. Ays wasn't far behind however Genie bowed low to her to show her respect as she came close to Michael with a light smile on her lips. "Greetings Michael, I can finally greet you with a body of my own." She said most dismissing Genie with out looking at her as she went to handle who was left- practically clearing the field- leaving only herself there with Michael- Even Bly was made to leave- even if he was in the middle of a fight. Ays's orders were the fathers orders- it was to be absolute. "I am Ayperos, The devil's right hand and controller of his armies- or as you have known me for your entire existence- as the Sword of Kamael." She said with a smile as she shifted her robe a bit to move it more up her shoulder on one arm not honestly caring it was the fact she could feel the fabric she was enjoying more.

Michael watched the whole scene play out like a mute bystander, unable to comprehend that all of this was truly that easy. Nothing was ever this simple in the angels world. They were far too political and had their egos to preserve after all. But like a well oiled machine, the demons backed off one by one, their hordes returning from the depths of hell they crawled from. The comments from the others watching made Michael balk, especially at the idea that he had offended Dariell. He hand't meant to but it was not some extreme injury to him. She was a demon that helped yes, but that didn't make her a steadfast ally or even really likable in his book. It just left her off the list of immediate targets. He took the time alone to look out at the city, watching the fires slowly being contained and the injured in the destruction there. There was a lot of death and even more suffering, but at least the sky looked repaired and the goddess was nowhere in sight. He knew she had been sent back to the heavens and back into a stasis like slumber till she regained her power again, but that wouldn't be for quite years, maybe even a millennium. Till then the angels would have to rebuild, start over and fix everything that had been misguided or broken. For starters the command would have to be rebuilt and their ranks properly sorted and trained. Further, they had to repair the damage done to this earth and to shaky alliances with the demonic forces. But that would be handled over time...for now he just had to be sure everything was truly at a stand still for now...He breathed out a heavy breath when he sensed a strong dark presence nearby, his eyes quickly going to a new demon walking with the familiar demon Genie. He had heard tale of this creature, the right hand of the child and a creature of immense dark power. Sariel had spoken of it and he had seen her in the agreements with Jack. His posture was a bit hostile at first, sword poised to attack, but when Genie bowed and the creature spoke, he eased in surprise. He knew that voice. It was the one from the sword. "Ays?" He said before he lowered his sword and gave a bow of his head, something of respect since he knew better than to be an ass with a demon that was respected by Kamael. He looked up again after a moment, his expression softening slightly. "As strange as this is, I'm glad to see you. That means this is done, yes? Everyone is alright?" He asked wanting to be sure the others in this plot were alive and well. He had a lot to be thankful for towards Ays and Lian...they kept the people he cared about alive and when he couldn't do it on his own. ~~~ Twila looked over the young girl sitting near her, her eyes on her glowing aura and just how small she looked. Was her soul really that fragile and small? It was strange for her to be seeing it there, manifested as a being, but she had seen stranger still. Michael had told her once that your soul had great influence over what kind of angel you became...so why couldn't she have a more visible connection with the one that created her? Twila let her eyes drift close a moment, trying to understand why she felt so airy and depleted. Her breathing was slow and she could feel something inside of her flickering. Was this what stasis felt like? Or was she fading from this world? Ays had taken the marks from her and with the marks went a part of her...DId it take too much? Did this mean she would die, like Sairel did when she took the marks from him? Panic swept into Twila at the very idea of death, her body shaking slightly as terror made her mute. She didn't want to die. Not alone like this. She wanted to live for so much..For so many people... She felt a small hand go to the top of her head, brushing the hair like a child would a cat they were petting. With the slow strokes came a small humming, a tune Twila remembered almost instantly. Her eyes sprang open and she looked up to find the little girl there, trying to comfort her it seemed with a small song. "That song...It's from my music box. The present from Jack..." The little girl gave a head tilt, expression showing she was very confused what Twila meant. "No. That's a song my mommy sang to me when I didn't feel good." Twila's eyebrows knitted at the news, her eyes not leaving the child that now looked a little frustrated. "Didn't feel good?" She asked, since she had never been sick before, since angels didn't usually get sick. The little girl nodded. "Yes, I was sick a lot so mommy would do stuff to make me feel better." Twila frowned at the idea, trying to picture this bright and happy little girl stuck in a bed sick all day. It must have been sad...That's what Twila felt. Sad, lonely, scared, pain...She didn't like those feelings, but it seemed they wouldn't go away. Like the memories that surfaced of a woman with dark hair fretting over her with a gentle frown, images of tea and playing with dolls, a big room with high ceilings and pretty things and people, lots of people...It was a castle like in the fairy tales Twila read. It was odd that she would have these images, but she felt there was no other place they could be coming from than the girl. "I see...Is that why you...well why I have your soul?" The little girl stared at her a moment before she gave a small shrug. "I-I don't know...I only remember mommy did everything to make me feel better. She even talked to this person...I don't remember them but I remember what they did. Mommy asked them to help me, that she would do anything...but they didn't listen. I heard her sounding hurt and I went to see but--there was a lot of red and then I didn't see anything anymore. I woke up and found Lucien..." Twila frowned at the story, her eyes watering slightly. She hated the idea that the child suffered so much, but there was little that she could do for her now. Especially now that she had her soul. The little girl placed a hand on her cheek, shaking her head lightly. "Don't be sad. I'm not. I'm happy your happy. Now please...wake up." Twila blinked at the request, her eyes widening slightly in surprise. "Wake up?" She mumbled and suddenly she could hear voices above her, calling out to her from all around. It frightened her, enough so that she curled into a ball and tried to block them out.
"Wake up! Twila are you okay?" David jumped back when Twila suddenly sat up board straight, her eyes wide and her hair a mess. She looked like hell, completely pale and her wings faded from her back from all her energy lost. She looked like a shell of herself, quite literally ghost white with everything bit lack luster. It had terrified David when he found her, to the point he thought she might have died. He had come looking for her on request of Gabriel who had awoken a little bit ago to find himself alone. Twila seemed to not recognize him at first, that was till something seemed to click and he look softened. "David...What's going on?" She asked, the question open ended for a reason. She wanted to know the status of the war, where everyone was, if things were okay--safe... David frowned a bit, shaking his head slightly as he tried to smooth her hair down. "It's messy Twila. The others are fine for now. But there is much to do... For now though we have to get you to the heavens to heal..." She blinked, her eyes going to the room around her. It was Jack's room, it smelled of him, felt like him...she didn't want to leave here... "But David I want to see Jack--" David gave a huff, his eyes narrowing at her. "I'm sure the demon will forgive treatment for your health stupid." She pouted, but nodded and let him carry her off skyward to the others that were resting and being healed. She was placed alone however, being tended to by David specifically since he didn't want Raphael anywhere near Twila.

Ays smiled at him when he said her little nickname. Giving him a nod to confirm it was her she looked him over. "Everyone is alive, as promised. Jack has fulfilled his part of a bargain and will be let live- if he hasn't killed him already." She said with a bit of humor since they both knew Jack was a favorite. "When you return to the sky to help heal and mend, when the others come to find you more or less...Please tell Kamael that I will not be returning to her side- I will go home to my fate. The child wishes me home so I will go to his call." She stated sounding very out of date with her speech but it was how she worked. She sighed before letting her arm drop though she paused glancing back up at him. "Oh and Michael. When and if it is needed- You can ask me for help. I have found a bit of respect for you- regardless of your breed compared to myself. As the ancient immortals- we practiced that if one gained your respect you could be associated. If you need anything in the future-and it requires a certain touch, Send for me, I would perhaps to like to see you again." She explained a bit about her words before letting her self give him a smile and vanish in a wash of smoke. ================================== Heading into the dark room, the child was passes out still, the blood slowly leaking back into his body, nearly filling the bed currently as the process was slow. Ays smiled as Jack sat quietly and patiently there by the child but glanced up when she let out a small laugh. "Is that how I looked before I got my body back? Simply waiting?" She asked in humor letting Jack know it was her and that he was done there. he gave a soft nod since by his look, he had been put through something ruff. "Go and rest, I shall assist the child when he awakens. You are free to leave Jack- you as well Vamperious. Since both had to put up with him." She said in a bit more humored tone, thought she went over to the bed and brushed some hair from the child's face, humming to him softly just like old times... -------------- jack headed to his own chamber to sleep knowing it was needed then he has to feed. He left a note for Genie to read about what he had planned then he would meet up with the others to talk about the battle. It was a simple request to make it after his nap however since she could only assume by now they all knew where he had been during the battle.

Michael was relieved to hear that those he hadn't seen in a while we're still alive. That at least as much as Ays knew things were alright. He nodded to her at her request, realizing that Ays couldn't go back to their world, not after all that happened. Kamael would understand that. The child couldn't be left unattended, as was the right hands place to keep it somewhat contained. One god causing the end of times was enough for a millennium. He raised a brow when she said that she respected him even a little and that this meant she would maybe be an ally in the future. The idea was a helpful one, enough so that he said a small word of thanks before she turned and left in cloud of smoke. He turned his attention to the sound of wings, turning to find Raphael there, looking complacent of not a bit frustrated. He gave her a frown, daring her to attack or so much as make a move to hostility. How he would love to get rid of the treacherous bitch. Instead her look eased to a dull, emotionless slate as her head bowed. "The rest of our forces are leaving as it seems the demons have retreated..seems your little rebellion has paid off, Michael." He raised a brow at her, a smirk coming to his lips at the idea that she thought he was behind any of this. Honestly he was just another pawn in the ancient immortals games. Just a pawn that had a better role to play. "Rebellion was inevitable. It wasn't meant to be, Raphael. This world still has much longer to live and grow." He told her, drawing a briefly conflicted look from her. She stood there in silence a moment, till the sound of a nearby cry for help drew her to look off towards it. Michael knew she wasn't going to be hostile with him. Sariel had told him a bit about Raphael, what was left of her anyways. She was nothing more than a tool, a powerful one with no more control over herself than the goddess allowed. With her no longer issuing commands, the hostility in Raphael would be nothing more than perhaps a few quips. She turned, her wings flexing out as she prepared to take off to help the others. She looked over her shoulder, her eyes narrowed some with a cattiness he knew well. "Careful, Michael. With that kind of talk, you might start to sound like Sariel." She took off, leaving Michael a little time to muse on her words. He didn't understand them fully, but he sensed that it might have been a threat. Of what kind he wasn't sure, but he didn't have a lot of time to consider before he was approached by a few angels carrying the injured. He barked orders at the soldiers to get back to the heavens to be looked at and they followed as obediently as they could. Without much direction, these angels were like misguided children frantically looking for authority to guide them. He would have to change that with more work. When Michael reached the heavens, things were chaotic to say the best. Angels around were frantically trying to help the injured while some looked lost and confused. A few familiar faces, elite soldiers that knew Michael, instantly reacted to the sight of him and approached asking for orders. "Take care of the injured and gather those who are not busy to put them to use. We must get ahold of the situation before it escalates past control." They bowed to him and quickly got to work, clearing up the mess as best they could with the help of those that still had their minds. David thankfully found him quickly, having been tending to a few of the others and trying to calm those as the voice of reason. "Michael, I'm glad to see you're still standing. I know this is hardly the time for congratulations, but with our seats on the Council being empty at the moment, I'm promoting you to--" Michael raised a hand, quickly shaking his head. "No, I don't want the title. I want to fix this. Who all is missing?" "Well Belethor and Lucien...I presume Belethor is dead and Lucian cannot take his position in this state. Gabriel is resting near Twila and for now Raphael is healing the sick. She seems stable--" "She isn't a threat. Not yet at least. If she is helping, do not stop her." David nodded, his eyes casting to the disorder around them. "And the others? What do we tell them? Our goddess is dormant and they are looking for answers." Michael's feathers ruffled, his expression becoming dark if anything. He was tired of playing advocate at the moment and would have to deal with this. He knew he was one of the only ones left with sense enough to handle the situations. He wanted to go to Gabriel and check on him, also Twila to be sure she was still alive after this whole ordeal...But he first needed to find Kamael however, she was a powerful voice that most feared, if not respected as an original. She could help de-escalate things. "I must find Kamael." David raised a brow, his look sightly surprised. "No one has seen her since the battle. I have no idea where to even look." Michael shrugged off his stammering and went in search on his own, figuring it would be faster.

Kamael left the inner most chamber where she had left the goddess. Having made sure she was settled in properly before leaving her to sleep. She may have been a little upset out things but that didn't change the fact that the goddess created her, she still cared as her last child honestly. She flapped her wings to slow her descent into her own personal chambers, dropping from the higher arches above where she would often hear the goddess speaking. The thrones buzzing about in little clouds worried about the state of things. "Hush little ones. Mother is sleeping- you don't want to wake her. She has asked me to watch everything for her while she rests her eyes a bit. Now go help the other angels in healing- they are hurt. Do as you are asked- however you Saffron, Jaine, Rebekhah, and Jihn- Go start collecting souls for the creation of new angels. Our main collector is now gone- I need some souls to make you more family." She said to them getting them to leave immediately to do her bidding. Most knew her to be hostile but when she was content she would let others be. As they buzzed out and off to do as she asked, a few made small noises of surprise as Michael came into the room and had to dodge him as he opened the door at the wrong time. "My Michael, let me be the first to welcome you back home properly." She said smoothly from her place in the front of the room, the thrones now gone the room seeming hollow. ------------------------ Genie had rounded them all up a bit past sundown, knowing it wouldn't' be long before Jack came back down to see them about the war. The child had been put away a while it seemed, sleeping off his anger at this war perhaps. Bly looked bored as usual as he sat next to Jerhine, all the other generals, first and seconds were present as well. Jack came into the room, followed by Genie who wanted a game plan of his speech only to get a tired shrug from him. Coming into the room he went to the front and stood before the child's chair. "Alright, everyone calm down and shut it so I can get this over with!" Vamperious snapped to the room, making it silent for the most part getting a few dirty looks. "This war as a success. The angels have retreated first and for most. The bitch is put away for a while meaning we can even things out better since Father is also subdued at this moment. However I would like to inform you of a change." He said but let his voice trail off as he waited for something to happen. He moved out of the way of the chair and moved more towards his own chair, making a few look a bit confused. Ays came around the chair and smile at Jack lightly," Thank you Jack- Vamperious. I appreciate your cooperation." She said with a smile, making Jack flinch a bit. The woman turned her face to the rest of the room and smile, making others flinch, they knew who this was- the Un-mother- the fathers coveted keeper. She was practically as strong as the father-probably just as crude as well. "I am watching our sweet child while he sleeps, I am in charge as I had been for centuries before these petty squabbles had divided us. We are demons- act like it- not children that have to be punished- else I will pick a breed to punish weekly." She said with a smile letting them know she would be more then happy to inflict pain upon them. A few generals were acting up and making a fuss about how she was suddenly in charge however it was mostly the new ones- including Istas who looked overly entitled at the moment. Ays's eyes went to her as she vocalized how she found it unfair and ill suited for her to rule in the child's place, something along the lines of not earning her place. The older demons were silent- simply watching what was going to happen. Moving forward she smiled looking at the girl, who didn't seem afraid of her in the slightest- big mistake. She stopped exactly one step from her, looking at her full in the face- the girl being slightly smaller then her. "Jack- do you know this one as one of your own?" She questioned since she knew this was Vamperious's second in command- another reason she asked Jack. When he responded with a no, that got him a dirty look from Istas. "And you Vamperious? Should she be spared my wrath?" She asked raising a brow, her eyes never leaving the girl. Vamperious smirked at her widely," She did nothing in this war. Not very demon like to me." he said almost in a catty manner before shrugging. "Indeed." Ays responded with simply before reaching out her hand to touch the girl's face before where she touched started to burn and the flesh eat itself-similar to the effect of the black blood on an angel. Istas and Diaz were dead with in a few minutes of relentless screaming making her smile down at her lovingly almost as her body finally stopped twitching. "Any one else want to challenge my rule?" She asked in a polite tone as though it were up for discussion, the room however was silent. "Good. First things first...." She began going over the rules of hell, how thing were usually run and how to keep it so- assigning generals to things such as who to attend to since it seemed things has gotten a little out of hand while they were all surface side.

Michael had figured he would find Kamael where the goddess would be sealed away in a stasis like sleep. She was a god of power and grace, but like other immortals she thrived on immense amounts of energy. When expended, her kind needed to rest properly so that they could use their power again. He felt strange entering this holy place, since it was sacrilege practically after her turned against her in this war. He expected to one day be punished for it, but for now things were calm and had to be put back in order. When he tugged at the door to get it open, he had to maneuver quickly out of the way to avoid being hit by the thrones leaving. He gave the little pests an annoyed frown before looking toward Kamael. He wasn't surprised to find her well, better than everyone else. She was a powerful being and had seen battles worse than this no doubt. He bowed his head at her greeting, sensing that things are oddly calm here while everything else was frantic outside. "It's good to see you, Kamael. I see the battle left you well." He said before he remembered what Ays had told him. He figured Kamael would know, no doubt Lian was around somewhere about to tell her of Ays leaving to hell. But he would relay the message, out of respect for the demoness. "I came to find you after all of this. The angels are freaking out without proper direction...and to relay Ays's message. She said she would not be returning to your side. That she was called back to hell with the Child." He said before looking back towards the door where he knew David and his soldiers were trying to get a handle on things.

She accepted his greeting and his kind words. "This would have been more fun if I were allowed to fight but a sparring match was just as fun." She said a trickle of humor in her expression as she was calm. When he went on to speak of Ays and what she was currently up to she frowned, a small sad expression there. She didn't speak a few moments before deciding she was going to have to accept this. "I should have assumed as much when neither had returned to my side that things had gone well enough for them both. Lian and Ays were never mine to keep forever...Lian was never really an angel-he was also never really just my staff. He has no record in David's library and Ays is a demon- how can a demon come to heaven one would ask. The bright lights, the angelic presence, lots of obstacles...When one closes their eyes and speaks no ill- when a guide is presented and a single feather is offered in peace they can gain access...My companions were never mine- it simply saddens me to remember this after so long." She said with a sigh. "I will help organize the angels- they are all Thrones to me after all. I had sent them to do something useful. Some to do Lucien's job so that I could replenish our ranks and to help in ways only they can. As well as to give us a moment to speak clearly." She stated what she had sent the Thrones to do so it was more obvious that she was working on his other comment about the angel's trying to get their shit together. "I will take over all cousin positions as I am the closest to the goddess in my being. I am not in absolute control however until things are calm and I find proper replacements for those who are gone- I will assume control. You will assist me in this. The military will need some guidance, you will be assisted by Hyta. Gabrial and David will work on recording, and helping to organize that section of things. Rafael will heal those who need it. Twila will work to get the ground forces- namely the guardian's there in proper hold and help them with the surface work. When your work here is done you may slink off to a victory- but not a moment before else I will remind you who gave you an order. Am I clear Michael? Can you relay my orders?" She went on to explain to him a few other's parts but that was the pretty basic parts. It was all overly obvious and basic but it was a system that would work perfectly while she worked on creating angels again. "Any questions?" She finally asked him wondering if he had any suggestions or questions about her words to him.

Michael was curious why she brought up the two missing presences, especially the bit about demons coming heaven side. He thought such a feat impossible, but then again they also thought visiting hell was impossible but Twila achieved that. Well, she best not divulge that information to Twila else Jack would get a very rude awakening. He was rather surprised Kamael was assuming all authority since she often stayed out of the politics of this place. Samael was usually the involved one, with Gazardiel once being a speaker but that was before Michael's time. It was good to hear it however, since Kamael was best suited at the moment and the most level headed. He wouldn't argue serving her and he was sure the others wouldn't either if they believed her the voice of the goddess as her only living child. Of course he was assigned to help where he was needed most, the military with Hyta. Mention of David and Gabriel working together made Michael nod, since he wanted Gabriel out of the way of all the trouble. He was better suited for work with David, especially since that would leave him as less of a distraction. Twila was to be surface side again and help with the guardians. Good. The little angel enjoyed being among humans and would be thrilled she could still see her demon lover and Lucian frequently. The plan worked best, Michael agreed as much that it would at least keep things running smoothly till order could properly be restored, especially in this time when things seemed to teeter on chaotic. At her threat, Michael smiled a little, nodding his head when she asked for clarification. "Have a little faith that you and your brother taught me better than that Kamael...But yes, I do understand perfectly. I will relay your orders to the others immediately and begin delegating further tasks beneath them to those that need them." He said, wanting to be sure he was being perfectly useful and clear before she decided his cocky answer deserved a shock. He however frowned slightly, wondering a moment just how things had ended so smoothly with hell's forces and if they needed to be concerned about that. "As for a question, should we be focusing any efforts towards defenses against possible uprising from the demons? We are weaker and our numbers are disorganized...I don't wish to see them take that opportunity to abuse the surface world while we regroup." He asked since she knew more on what Ays could do and what the demons might allow than he did. He knew in his own mind that exploiting weakness was cowardly in some situations but also strategy in others. ~~~ Twila woke from her brief nap by the feel of energy coursing through her, like a jolt from touching a live wire. The feeling made her head turn in the direction of the touch to her arm, finding it was Raphael. Twila instinctively back pedaled, falling off the bed in a flail of feathery wings and tangled bed sheets. Raphael's head tilted in question at the girl's fear, her hand losing its glow as it hovered where Twila once was. "Twila! Easy! You're still not perfect child!" David poked his head over the bed, looking bewildered that she would behave in such a way. Twila stared wide eyed at him, looking from David to Raphael, not understanding the situation. Wasn't Raphael evil? Didn't she work solely for the goddess? Why else would she be there healing her if not for some nefarious plot? Raphael looked at her a long moment before she shrugged and turned on her heels, leaving the room in favor of going to help others. David gave a huff before he reached for Twila to help her up. "You know you could have thanked her. She did bring you back from a horrifying state dear." He said patting her head, receiving a lost look from Twila. "B-But she hates me. She nearly killed me..." David gave her a shake of his head, motioning towards a bed behind him. "Well seems she's had a change of heart. She healed you and Gabriel in one go." Twila tensed, looking around David to find the bed occupied by Gabriel's small frame. She quickly went around David, going to the bed with worry in her face. "Gabe...Is he alright?" She placed a hand on his cheek, making Gabriel shift a bit under the touch. His eyes fluttered open, making Twila smile when his eyes met her's. He looked briefly lost, that was until something came back to him and instantly his look paled. "Twi--youre okay...?" She tried to answer him but before she could his arms went around her, pulling her into bed with him in a hug. She was shocked by the sudden hug but accepted it since he was her friend. However when she felt something wet on her shirt, she blinked and pulled away bit to find he was crying. "Game why are you--?" She began but he shook his head, hugging her a bit tighter. "I'm so sorry, Twila. The things she made me do to you and Michael--They were despicable. I'm just so happy you are okay." He said in a tearful voice, making Twila's heart nearly break as she saw the relief in his face. She knew Gabriel couldn't have controlled himself even if he wanted to. The goddess's power was absolute and she had been under its influence before...it was a black hole with no escape that completely consumed you. He was lucky that he lived and was here after the war...She put her arms around him, smiling softly at him with care. "Oh Gabe. I'm not angry...I know. I'm sure Michael feels the same way. Have you seen him?" Gabriel tensed, sniffling with a shake of his head. He was trying to hide the pain from his blotchy memory, that much was obvious to her. She knew Michael wouldn't be angry with him, worried sick if not anything. Jack would act the same over her. "No. I can't...I can't show my face around him after all this. I don't remember much, but I do remember that I hurt him Twi.." She sighed, wishing Michael would have been to see him, but she knew that the man was busy as the others no doubt were. She hadn't seen him since the battle...and she hadn't seen her Jack at all either. Seems both men were caught up in this mess for now. "Gabriel don't be silly...He loves you very much. Though I have to ask if you ever saw Jack?" She asked him, but her eyes flitted to David as well to see if he had any sign of him either. Gabriel shook his head while David gave her a stern look. "News is the vampire brought you to Sariel's old residence. It was the only way I found you in all that mess." David said, making Twila's heart squeeze at the idea that Jack had found her, but also fear that he still could be out there in all the craziness. Was he alright? Was he hurt? Did the father kill him for leaving to get to her? The fear of the unknown made Twila's heart beat rapidly in her chest, so much so she dove into Gabriel's hold further to block out the unsightly worries.

When asked about the demons she simply looked unconcerned. "If they act up I will fix the problem myself. We must all work together to Bring this world into balance. If we do not then things will fall apart and I will be made to purge the world of the trouble makers. I am not one for pity Michael. I will succeed where our mother failed. Let us hope it doesn't come to such." She stated almost sounding humored about this since it just happened- well there was an attempt. "Leave me now. I must begin crating angels to fill the ranks and rolls for our home. If they are military, I'm sure you will see them soon." She said more as a way to dismiss him as she moved over to a stream that was on the very far side of the chambers there and began taking a few souls to a pedestal....
Filling the heavenly rank took about ten years properly now- human years. The surface world having improved as many have found that Angel's and demons did exist however that didn't convince others while those who survived the main war- actually went to temple mass. Lian found this humorous as he passed some humans on the street, giving him leery looks with his large multi wing span but he didn't care to hide his wings before knocking on the door of the house that he stayed in for a short time. Lucien opened the door and let him in since he was expecting Twila still that day since the child, well was no longer a child- but a teenage of 17, was out at a job he wanted to work to help get Lucien pretty things. For saving his life as a child he felt he was going to stay with that man forever, Lucien didn't mind that so much. "So Lian, how is the human world treating you?" He asked the angel feeling the heat from his wings. He missed that honestly but he was content now. "Its confusing and rude honesly, but I don't mind it too much now. I'm accustomed to things. Yourself Fallen?" He asked in return knowing Lucien didn't mind it so much now. "Not too bad, even developed a taste for coffee and figured out this cooking thing." He said with a smirk since he found when Lian wasn't being a self righteous jerk he was alright for conversations. ------------------------ Like a long time ago he had been passing notes, though Lucien to Twila since he had been very busy lately in hell. Ays had requested his help in many things as well as helping re organizing things socially and such in hell. That had been a problem in and of itself. Much easier said then done since Demons' didnt like change like that since it made for more problems. Jack had introduced Lucien's adopted pet to his own family, giving Jason and Eve soem one to talk too about crazy things. Eve hadn't spoken to him much still, mostly talked to the other human's not that it bothered him overly. Currently he was out and about with Lucien's pet, the poor boy, he was wanting company as he went out with some friends' from work. Jason had been invited meaning Eve was going along, not that he knew what the girl had to talk about with them but he was sure the girl would ignore him as had been the usual as of late. "Do you think they would want to go get food? Or will they want maybe a bon fire? I'm sure Lu woudn't mind hosting a party." He said with a smile, speaking kindly of Lucien. "A fire wouldn't be too bad. I'm sure he would love the time to show case his new found cooking skills Todd." He said with a smile and a curt nod to the boy figuring hew as a Lucien pleasere just as Leah had been in the begining.

Ten years passed, time that felt like it was an eternity to even the immortals involved. It was amazing to see how the world healed through efforts from heaven, hell, and mortal plain alike. It was not easy work, but work that consumed every moment of that time with little time for rest or deviation. The heavens flourished under Kamael’s command within the first few years. her control and creation rebuilt the infrastructure of the angel hierarchy and brought into a play a new meaning for angels and humans alike. While not straying from the goddess’s true path, the angels resumed most of their control over care for the mortal plane, helping with the rebuilding process while keeping a healthy watch over their demon counterparts. Every angel played a part again, some military, some reconstruction on earth, religion based, gatherers, and some simply keeping the control and organization intact. Gabriel had taken on a seat in the council with David, Raphael, and a new angel, answering to Kamael with important decisions to be made. Michael couldn’t be convinced to take on a council seat, mostly due to his distaste for politics or niceties involved in dealing with angels. That made things harder honestly for the three friends to ever really see a lot of each other. Twila spent most of her times on the mortal plane, dealing with reconstruction efforts with the guardians there and bringing a more spiritual aspect to the healing of the mortals. Michael was constantly working with properly preparing their forces for helping the guardians, dealing with minor uprisings from demons that wouldn’t adhere to the truce, and being sure that each and every solider was properly trained to match their need. Hyta was vital to maintaining a high level of training, such that Michael had found a respect for her that leveled on a comrade and almost friend. That left Gabriel, the one who dealt with David and his records patiently to ward off any chance that their history wasn’t preserved. Gabriel rather liked the quiet at times, but it didn’t mean that he didn’t miss being with the others. He and Michael had patched things up nicely during the time they spent around the other in the heavens, Michael often visiting him when he got the chance during council meetings or if he could sneak away. And with Twila, well, it seemed she stayed out of the heavens until she was needed. It seemed she was becoming a regular Sariel, an angel fascinated with mortals that felt more comfortable there than with her own kind…He almost missed the old days when things were simpler, when they could all be together again… “I never knew ancient tax collecting information was all that intriguing, Gabriel.” Gabriel tensed when David’s voice came into his attention, his eyes flicking up from the book that he held in his hands that he had been trying to date. David gave the startled angel an almost smile, knowing that this work was boring for most. David was content amoung his books, never wanted to lose them or be apart from them long. To him, this was his nirvana, especially since Kamael didn’t make him burn any records of the war… “Go place it on aisle 105. It’s nearest the section on warfare.” Gabriel gave a swift nod and got to his feet, scurrying off to find the right shelf. He rounded the corner of a line of shelves further into David’s library, his eyes trying to pin down where the book collection was. He was in the process of trying to place it among new volumes a few shelves higher than himself when suddenly a hand took the book from him and placed it in its place, but the body remained close. “Man David really has you working hard, huh?” Gabriel turned around quickly at the sound of the low voice and smiled brightly at the sight of Michael. He threw his arms about his neck, quickly kissing him with an excitement that surprised Michael into a chuckle. “Well well, I need to surprise you more often.” He said, pressing his forehead against Gabriel’s in a loving motion. Gabriel gave Michael a roll of his eyes, but didn’t rlease him from his hold. “Hush, I missed you after being stuck around these books all day…Allow me at least a little excitement after a month of you being gone.” He said, knowing that Michael couldn’t help that his duties kept him away. Honestly the two would rather be near the other, but fate didn’t dictate it possible. “Well hopefully it doesn’t happen again. Hyta can take care of things well enough without me. Besides, I’m taking time off to visit with Twila with you, remember?” Gabriel quickly put a finger to his lips, shushing him when he heard footsteps nearby. “Don’t be so loud. David has me alphabetizing everything and said I can’t leave until its done...” Michael gave him a self satisfied smirk, before kissing the tip of the finger on his lips and pulled his wings around Gabriel. “That old bird can be patient. In the meantime, you can take a little break.” In a flash of light they were gone, leaving David to shake his head from a bookshelf nearby, at the idea of being called old when Michael was quite a few hundred years older than him. ~~~ The smooth melody of a hymn arose from inside the massive temple, prayers put to song filtering through the cool nighttime air in the inner courtyard. Twila hummed along to the pretty song, though her attention was set on the gardens that were flourishing in the moonlight. She was gracing each with a bit of immortal energy, enjoying seeing the happy flowers blooming under her touch. When she had her down time away from the guardians, she liked to take her time there, admiring the plants, especially her favorite, the bleeding hearts. Her heart squeezed lightly when she touched one of the petals, her eyes watering a bit at the memory of Jack that came to mind. She missed him more than anything in this world, but circumstances of their own lives kept them apart for so long…Even though she could remember the details of his face and she had the words of his letters to keep her company when she really felt lonely, she was beginning to forget small things, like his scent and the feel of his hugs. She knew it had to be a while before she could see him again, but 10 years was feeling already like an eternity. At least she had Lucian in all of it, someone familiar she could return to and feel like her old self again. She still loved him dearly, wings or not. Not that that eternity hadn’t been filled with more work than she could imagine. In that time she had taken charge of the guardians, or at least been the one they turned to to report and ask for guidance or changes. She had even taken on apprentices in that time for shorts amount of time and trained a few in healthier handlings of demons. Currently though, their jobs went around handling the peace and reconstruction of the human world, acting as partial ambassadors to the humans in efforts to connect the immortals with their more visible status among humans. As of late things had slowed down, enough so that Twila felt she could relax a little more. Hence why she dedicated her night tonight to visiting Lucian and Todd…perhaps in hopes that Jack one day might stumble upon her the night she was there. That hadn’t happened yet sadly, but her optimism never died, even with all the growing up she had to do. Twila brought one of the flowers to her nose, breathing in the soft scent that it began to let off from being so overly energized from her aura. She was a bit lost in thought when a young female angel came up beside her, looking quizzical. “Mentor?” Twila looked over at the angel, her long red hair braided high above her head in a bun to keep it from her eyes. The girl, Ange, always looked so serious, with a frown and a tense look about her. She wanted to be a guardian very badly, to the point she had begged to leave Michael’s service to come here. However, she wasn’t thrilled with the idea of being forced to take on a mentor, especially when she learned it was Twila. Though most guardians respected her as the student that trained under their prior leader Sariel, a healthy group of angel knew her as the one that nearly destroyed this world and a demon lover that still associated with a Fallen angel. It wasn’t a good light cast on her, but Twila had learned to accept it quickly and move on. She preferred her life among the humans and the guardians that understood her anyways. As long as she had her friends there for her, she would be okay. “I’m sorry to disturb you.” Ange added, her stiff demeanor made Twila sigh, her expression taking on a rather gleeful light. “It’s okay Ange. I was just looking at the flowers…” “With all do respect, Mentor…Guardians have a strict duty to uphold the peace and balance between this plane and hell. I don’t think flower viewing is furthering that goal…” “I don’t quiet agree. We have eternity to live and it gets awfully sad when you don’t stop to enjoy it from time to time. The world does not go to hell in a moments notice.” Twila mused, placing the bloom in her hair and gave her a soft smile that was quite humored. “Besides, even demons stop to smell the bleeding hearts from time to time.” She joked lightly, making Ange’s nose wrinkle. “I believe the saying included roses, Mentor.” Twila shook her head. “Sure sure.” Ange’s brows twitched down into a rather annoyed look, before she breathed out. “Anyways, I completed that ‘training’ you had me do and attended the party undercover with Collin. How was that proper training for demon hunting?” Twila blinked, her expression briefly thoughtful and yet vapid. “Did you have fun? The demons will blend dear. If they are after a target or out to cause trouble they will not go about it bold faced…You must learn to understand the patterns of the sheep to understand the ability of their predators.” Ange was shocked at the actual sense that came out of Twila’s mouth, her expression a bit thoughtful. “I digress Mentor.” She said while her head dipped into a bow. Twila shook her head, getting to her feet. Her white robe like dress spilled to the grass, the gold and shimmering quality to the gown showing off her pale complexion, especially through the backless portion for her dark wings and the slit up to her hip that exposed the sword at her side. Ange took in Twila’s form and noticed that by her aura the angel was quite strong. It reminded her of Michael honestly, but controlled and hidden under her softer exterior. She felt a bit of that power as Twila placed a hand on her shoulder, looking into her eyes. “Ange, I believe you are a going to make a great guardian…but please, learn to give yourself a little more room.” She said with a smile. Suddenly a flash of light drew her attention ahead of her, drawing Twila to look up, her lips pulling into a bright smile. “Gabriel, Michael!” She dropped her attention from Ange and went to both of them who were ready for a hug. She first hugged Gabriel then Michael, before turning to Ange. She was about to say sorry for leaving her, but Ange simply shook her head and waved to Twila before walking back to the temple. She turned her attention back to the two, Michael offering the young angel a raised brow look. "Seems your apprentice has an attitude problem." He said and Twila gave a small shrug. "She is harmless. Just a bit over zealous. I can relate..." She said, making Gabriel giggle. "True true, now Twi. We wanted to take you out for a little bit. You know catch up, since its been ages--" "It's only been a few months, Gabe." Michael reminded, but that received him a smack on the arm. Twila laughed a little, giving both men a sympathetic smile. "I know Gabriel, but I promised Lucian I would visit him tonight..." Gabriel gave her a small pouty look, drawing Michael to give a sigh. "Well I could use a little catching up with Lucian. Gabriel?" Gabriel nodded, though he took up place by Twila. "After we should go get ice-cream. Your favorite yeah?" Twila grinned, throwing an arm around Gabriel as they walked to Lucian's. They talked about their time apart, what each other was doing and where their lives had led. It seemed like each of them had a good life ahead of them and that things were looking up as usual for them. Finally they arrived at the house, Twila taking lead in going up to the door and giving it a solid knock before opening the door, knowing Lucian wouldn't mind her entering since she did live there for a while. "Lucian? Mentor, I'm here. Michael and Gabriel wanted to say hi too." She added though she quickly went into the kitchen where she could smell coffee. She would be the first one seeing Lucian after all since she missed and loved her old mentor like a father still. She paused however in the door way when she saw Lian, her eyes going wide a moment. "Lian? is that really you?" She grinned, giving him a wave. "I haven't seen you in so long. How are you? Oh wait--" She quickly went over to Lucian, her usual scatter brained self, and gave him a hug. "I'm happy to see you Mentor. I didn't know you and Lian visited each other." She said since no one in the heavens had seen Lian at all since the war.

Lian knew who it was before the door even opened and made a mention of it to Lucien who smiled at the mention of the child. He let her enter and expected her attention however it seemed Lian threw her off a bit but that was to be expected since no one, including himself, had seen him in years. "Indeed, I how ever don't make it a habit to visit fallen or his pet. I haven't even gone to visit Kamael. I've been doing my duty that Ays gave me before the battle ended. I am well however I thank you for asking." He said with a smile and a nod in greeting to the other two. Lucien accepted the hug and gave her a soft smile. He kissed her cheek with a smile before letting her move to speak better if she wished. "I started the water for your tea child. It should be almost done if you would to make yourself some?" He offered her the idea of tea since he knew the child still liked it.
It wans't long before there was a demonic presence outside the house however it was followed by Todd coming into the house looking a little mystified at how they got home so fast. "Hey dad?! Can I have a party here? You know everyone alre--" He stopped himself as he came into the kitchen and saw there were people well angels there. Some he knew some he didn't. "Oh, umm hello. Welcome back sis. ((He thinks of Twila like a sister/ b/c they share Lucien)) He said to cover a bit of awkwardness but knew it wasn't because they were immortal but because he wasn't expecting them. It took a moment later for Jack to come inside and give Lucien a nod in greeting before his eyes were glued to Twila like she were the only light in a dark room. He moved Todd out of his way and swooped her up into a hug, tight and holding since he missed her. He looked happy however he didn't mind having company- they were lucky he wasn't kidnapping her already- he was trying to be nice and share.

Twila blinked at Lian's admitting he hadn't been to see anyone since he was doing a task for Ays. Her childlike curiosity hadn't changed much, but was distracted by Lucien. She accepted the kiss with a content smile, getting to her feet to head over to grab the things for her tea. "Thank you Lucien. After dealing with the initiates I'm ready for a break. I now know that being a true mentor is much more work than I would prefer. I'm grateful you did it..." She said with a sigh, preparing the tea as she liked. It made her feel sad to know Jack wasn't there to make it with her like before...She swallowed hard and brought her tea to join Lucien at the table. "Hello Lucien. Good to see you are well." Gabriel said with a wave and Michael gave Lian a bit of an odd frown. "I'm sure Kamael would like to have at least a word from you." He said, but let it go with a shrug since Twila was squirming, meaning she wanted to ask something. She looked to Lian however, deciding it was best to just directly ask him what brought him here. "Ays asked you to do something? Was it to visit?" She asked but was cut off from an answer when she sensed a presence near the home. Her wings tensed, the feather's fluffing as she turned around, her eyes locking on the kitchen door frame. She waited like a puppy with its tail wagging, her eyes wide and her expression expectant. She could feel her heart throbbing in her chest, her mind racing as she wished with all her heart that it was who she thought it was. However, when Todd came in the room she looked briefly shocked, her wings sagging like a kicked dog. Though she was confused why the demonic aura would be Todd, she decided it must have been a mistake somehow. She liked Todd, but she liked the idea of it being Jack better. Todd was a sweet boy though and treated her like family and gave Lucien more than enough to do. She gave the awkward boy a smile and shook her head. "Hello, little brother. A party sounds wonderful. Can he Lucien?" She asked with a bit of a pleading look, since she felt it could be fun. However when another set of steps came in the room and she felt eyes on her, she looked over her shoulder at the new person. Her breath caught, the name stuck on her tongue as she stared at Jack there in the doorway, looking the same as ever. Well that was a lie. He looked beautiful in the light of the room, enough that it stole her mind away from her . She wanted to run to him, to leap on him, to kiss him, to hold him, to cry. She wasn't sure what she wanted more than him at that moment. She got to her feet as he approached, meeting him half way so she could throw her arms around his neck. She felt tears spring from her eyes as he held her close, her face burying into his shoulder with effort to control herself under her over stimulation from all of the feelings hitting her full force. "Jack...Jack my love." She said pulling away a bit so she could see his face. "You're really here. This is so much better than a letter..." She said kissing him softly since she didn't want to make the others awkward in the exchange, though she hardly wanted to pull away or separate from him.

At the mention that Kamael would have liked to hear from he he frowned, but his brow was pinched a bit in indecision. "I would like nothing more then to see her however my job is here on the surface world." he explained to Michael letting him know that if he did go to see Kamael- he wouldn't leave her. He turned his attention to Twila not wanting to honeslty answer however Jack came in and distracted the angel- even the child did. Lucien amiled at Twila's little encouraging question and gave a nod getting Todd to head over to the kitchen side of the room and make a few phone calls. Lian smiled at them both in greeting but shook his head. "Ays asked me to keep the weapon with Sariel's markings from both gods. That is only ascertainable on this surface. There for I can never settle or stop moving or go home." He said simply though he didn't seem overly bothered by this.
Jack was over joyed when she called his name, it had been a long time since she had. He gave her a smirk at her words over having him instead of a letter. The kiss pulled a longing form him, he wanted to pull her back to him- her lips to his and make her breathless- make her forget who she was- that they were different breeds of immortal even- just him and her, however they sadly had company. "Hello my beautiful angel." He complimented her, since he knew that was a fast track to keeping her happy. He did pull an arm a little higher on her, bringing it to bend at the elbow and brush her wing, making it shiver from the touch as he kissed her neck once before whispering to her. "I missed the holy hell out of you." His tone was soft as silk and as deeply layered as velvet. He was wrapped up in her completely like a drug addict on their first hit after some rehab. he did however move his lips up her skin after a moment and breathed a moment getting him self together a bit better before speaking to her softly- just for her to hear. "We should disappear a little but before the company arrives I think." He said wanting her to know he wanted time alone with her still- he wasn't going to let company come between them.
