It did indeed seem as though he was in new territory. It was a good thing to know really, though it meant that he would have a lot of work to do in the future. He was actually a bit happy to be helping out Acacia. She was pretty, he liked pretty, and he thought he might be able to get along with her a decent amount. After all, he was the eyes and ears for another set of people.
"Sure thing. I will do whatever I can." He stated, though he knew he really had no choice in the matter. Scratching the back of his head, he looked down and then back up at Falco. "Any tips on hoq to keep her happy?" He questioned, it obvious he was wanting to do a good job. He wasn't sure exactly what the job would entail or what she would require of him. Whatever it was, he would do it for her though. As was the result of him needing to gain trust.

Falco couldn't help but laugh at Sean's words. He was quick to catch on though and that's what he was after. " When you find out maybe you can pass such a tip onto me." This is no game though. You are not to let anyone know that Frank Malone is working with us. Should word get out it could make things very difficult and dangerious for Acacia who I will be placing in the middle. Look at her as an undercover negotiator for now."
A knock at the door an Acacia had returned. " You took your time." He spoke and was none to happy about it. " Did you think Malone would just allow me to leave?" Not even bothing to curse him out this time she crossed her legs. " I see you have Benjamin working with Ethan. Is this wise?" She inquired. " We'll see." Falco spoke evenly. Well at least he wasn't jumping down into trusting the two guys as of yet. " I've just informed Sean that he is to assist you." Eyes wide she stared at Sean. " What....?" Keeping herself calm and stopping herself from chucking a tantrum she slowly stood up. " I don't work with anyone." She stated. " You do now. Infact I'll be leaving it up to you to teach Sean anything he may need to know." Falco added. " I'm returning to my party now. "
Positively livid she took a seat. Work with Sean. That wasn't at all on her list of things to do. Clearly less then impressed she turned her head towards the window ignoring Falco as he walked out the door. This wasn't her night. " Stay here and don't move." She snapped at Sean. Standing up she moved quickly into the hallway. Whether she liked this situation or not she could still do her job properly. Moving down the hallway she quickly snapped up her latest assignment the papers in her hand as she returned to Falco's office. " I've been working on these two men. Infact tomorrow night I'll be attending a poker game with them, I suppose you have to come." Pulling a face she shoved the papers into his hand. " There. That's everything you need to know on them." Closing her eyes she took a breathe. Don't scream...definitely don't scream at him. It wasn't his fault he was dragged into this. " I....we." She corrected herself. " Have to keep tabs on these guys for a while . Falco isn't to sure if they are worth going into buisiness with so it's my job to sus it out."

Chuckling lightly at Falco's joke about Acacia, he listened to what the man said next. Nodding his head, his eyes were quite serious, he was good at the protecting part after all. "Her safety will my utmost priority." He told Falco, he knew what being undercover meant too, so that would help in trying to keep her safe. Sure, she was a bad guy, so technically she shouldn't be on his top priority list, but he was on her team as of now and he didn't want to clean up a mess that he would most likely be partially responsible for.
Watching as Acacia entered the room, he listened about Benjamin and Ethan. That was somewhat interesting, maybe they had a not so good history. He wasn't sure and it wasn't his intention to find out, however curious he might be. Eyebrows raising as Acacia seemed to be appalled that someone was going to help her out, he had assumed she had known. Staying quiet at the whole thing, he didn't make a peep as Falco left and angry black haired women in front of Sean. She did look rather hott when angry though he had to shake his mind out of the gutter as she spoke.
He staying in place when she told him to, not wanting to get in her way as she seemed positively livid. Lovely, it was just what he needed. An angry women who obviously didn't want his help. However, she did a relatively good job of not taking it out on him when she explained the situation of what all she was supposed to do.
Ooo, poker. Sean liked poker and wasn't half bad, though he got the feeling he probably wouldn't be playing. "I can go with you there. I don't really have a choice though do I." He smirked slightly, looking over the papers that had been handed too him rather forcefully. Nodding his head some about the guys and going into business, he finished glancing over the papers rather quickly. "It should be easy enough right? They don't look too bad on paper but that isn't always the full story. You have to dig deeper. Everyone has something to hide." Glancing up, his brown eyes were unreadable, bleached hair looking darker in the light of the office.

Her hands went to her hips whilst she tried her best to remain calm. Truly she hated this situation. Running a hand through her black hair she sighed. At least, unlike Ben and Ethan she was not required to do anything tonight. She'd be able to go home and sleep away this horrible turn of events.
" I don't want to work with you." Ice blue eyes stared at Sean though she remain calm. " Really?" She asked her expression turning nasty. " Easy...?" She queried and laughed softly. " Please change your perception on easy, it wont be and if we fuck up and get caught we're dead. Comprendo?" She asked him jumping straight to the point. Pointing at the two men in the picture she frowned. " They seem harmless.." She agreed. " However Frank Malone appears almost pleasant when you meet him....don't underestimate anyone." She said. " Or you're giving them the upper hand."
" You got told to help me, you don't have a choice but Falco must have reasonings behind this.." Now she was curious as to who the men she was meeting were like. Surely they had to be dangerous but just how much so? It's not like they'd ever been caught for anything. " Yes." She said softly. " Everyone has something to hide and it's my job to find out what that is." She answered.
Tossing her black hair over her shoulder she looked at Sean. " Can i go home now...or is there more you need to know?"

"Really, I couldn't tell." He responded, eyes crinkling some at Acacia's bluntness. He ignored it though it was hard as her expression turned ugly. He didn't appreciate her acting as though he was the biggest noobie on the planet. Obviously he knew they were dangerous, and obviously there was a reason behind having Acacia doing some recon. However, he was trying to seem as though he wasn't worried about them getting caught. He was trying to have a little bit of faith in his 'partners' abilities.
"You assume that I know absolutely nothing. Follow your own advice and don't underestimate me as well. Ever heard of team work? Maybe I said it would be easy because I thought you were capable of figuring out a bunch of ugly thugs motives." He spoke in a soft tone as he stood up and shoved the papers back in her hands. He had already gotten everything down that he would need to know. "I am good, go home and take a scented bath or whatever it is you do to relax. I don't do well with being bitched at or with a grump that can't suck up having to work with someone. News flash, I didn't have a choice in it either. Falco has my number, call me with what I need to do tomorrow, goodnight." It seemed as though is mood had switched quickly, but that was because she had gotten a bit uppity with him, and he wanted to get home to get his gun. He didn't feel as safe anymore without it. His anger could be a bit of a bad thing with him, as could his stubborn nature, though usually he knew when to keep his mouth shut. He was getting a bit better at it. Leaving the office, he trudged down the stairs, not caring if he had just pissed Acacia off more. ((lol, this relationship is staring out nicely.))

( haha girls got attitude and so does Sean apparently. This will be fun )
" Indulge my. You actually know something. Here I thought you'd just been a dead beat drung runner for Falco." Still staring him down her arms folded across her chest. " We aren't a team. Get this Sean. I'd sooner put a bullet through your head." She threatened. This sucked and now she was severely pissed off.
Seething she glared at Sean as he shoved the papers back at her. " I can. I don't want you there. I like doing my job without a partner. You're going to get us caught." She hissed at him. As he mocked her she stamped her foot with a completely ugly expression she glared at him.
Did he truly think she was still just a pretty face? She'd teach him good she decided. As he stormed of she stood still for a second positively livid before venturing downstairs. " Who pissed you off?" Ethan asked slyly. " Falco." She muttered. " Why...why are we working with Malone. This will ruin everything." She whispered to him. " So we keep our mouths shut, do our jobs and not get caught." Benjamin answered her question. " Is it that easy.?" She asked. Not wanting to get caught questioning Falcos authority she bid them farewell then stepped outside the club. " You off for the night Acacia?" One of the security guards asked.

Going to get them caught his ass, if Acacia couldn't cool it then, how was she supposed to calm down if the guys they were supposed to be watching did something that pissed her off. Huffing some, he shoved his hands into his pockets and hunched over as the cold wind assaulted his body. The rain had stopped but it had brought a cold front that had chilled the night air more so than earlier that day.
He made it home rather quickly and sat down at his kitchen table, cleaning his gun. The black metal gleamed in the not so bright light, his brown eyes intent as he worked with the contraption. It was something he did to relax himself. He couldn't sleep tonight, the whole thing was just going to get worse. Especially since Acacia seemed to be a one man show. Of course, Sean was one to talk. He was almost worse than her upon first joining the force. He was bitter after his injury and any team sports attitude that the military had put into him had been lost. Eventually, he learned the value of having someone you could trust. However, he wasn't so sure this street smart woman would have the brains to accept help when she needed it, he knew that he wouldn't have at her age, assuming she was a few years his junior. He wasn't sure and wasn't going to ask.
A few hours later, early in the morning, he finally went to bed. His dreams were nightmares, and his waking periods painful. He didn't have PTSD thankfully, but that didn't mean his memories didn't haunt him. Finally at eight in the morning, after laying awake for an hour, he got up. Five hours of sleep wasn't enough for most people, but he was used to it and, it was in his blood to stay up late and wake early. Deciding to go for a run, he grabbed his phone and keys after getting dressed and headed out, wondering when and if he was going to get a phone call.

She stormed off towards her car then instantly got in making her way towards her appartment complex. Waiting for her automatic garage door to open she pressed the button then drove her car through.
She couldn't believe the position she was in. Working with Sean was going to ruin everything. Why could Falco not understand the stupidity in the situation. She alone could pull this job off, adding a male to do a females job was stupid. How did Falco believe Sean would ever possibly be able to help her.
Storming up the stairs she made her way into her apartment instantly tossing her clothes to the floor and changing quickly into her sleep attire. Hopefully sleep would come easily.
As the sun flickered through her open blinds she stood up heading straight to the shower. What to do now. Did she tell Falco to contact Sean and tell him where to meet her...or did she ask him to come to the appartment so they could arrive together.
With a sigh she pulled out her laptop shuffling through her files for the day. Everything she had was in a perfect list fully organised.
As a few hours passed and it was now midday she decided to finally get into contact with Falco. Picking up the phone she dialed his number. " Can you give Sean the directions to my house. " She asked. " Tell him it's a black tie event...please wear a suit. If he needs one thats your problem." Hanging up the phone she'd let Falco deal with sean.
Stretching lazily out on her couch she closed her eyes not to keen on going to this poker game with Sean.

The run had refreshed him, as did the shower afterwards. Staring in the mirror after he had shave, it had taken him ten minutes before he nearly ripped out the lip ring. It had been bothering him lately and he felt a bit old for one anyways. Getting dressed, he sat down for breakfast and the rest of the morning just floated away.
Around midday, he got a call from Falco. Apparently, he was still going to the poker game with Acacia. He wrote down her address and assured Falco, more than once, that he had a suit he could wear. After handing up, he scratched the back of his head, his hair was a bit longer than he really wanted it right now. He had enough time, so going into the bathroom, he pulled out his hair clippers, he buzzed his hair shorter. It looked a little more brown, some of his natural hair color showing through, he would have to fix that later though.
Pulling out a suit, he found everything he needed and even replaced his earnings with diamond studs and a thin gold bar. Dusting himself off, he looked in the mirror. It was late afternoon now, about time for him to head to Acacia's house. She wasn't super far away but he needed to drive to make it on time, and not dirty his suit.
Making it to her house, he sighed, having picked up a few flowers on his way. He felt that he had been a bit rude, even though he felt she deserved it and thought that it might make it easier to work with her if he gave her something and apologized...maybe. It had worked on one of his more recent girlfriends, but he wasn't sure Acacia was one of those girls. She might just get pissed and throw them in his face.Wouldn't that be pleasant. Straightening his blue and gold tie, he stepped out of the car and made his way to her apartment, knocking on the door with the flowers behind his back. It was silly really, he didn't know why he had bothered. It wasn't as though they were going out or anything, and he doubted that would ever happen. Rolling his eyes, he rubbed his neck, a tattoo showing with the words 'justice' in Gaelic on his neck.

Acacia looked through her wardrobe as she decided on a dress. It didn't take long for her to select one then head straight to the bathroom. She wasn't one of 'those' girls so dressing was a quick task. Slipping on the black dress she decided to go without a bra to add more clevage, that certiantly would help her win over the guys anyway. Applying little make up she then exited the bathroom a pair of silver high heels on her feet.
She looked good and she knew it without even having to do herself up and lather herself in make up. Smirking some she got a pair of gold hoop earings and then a necklace.
The knock at the door made her inwardly sigh. Well here goes nothing. Shutting her bedroom door firmly behind her she made her way to the front door. " Hi. " She said simply, although a lot more pleasant then her normal tone of voice she had used with Sean. She'd realised for her to pull this off she'd have to work with Sean not against him. Arguing would not help their cover, and neither would her throwing a tantrum.

It took Sean a moment to respond after she opened the door. Half of him wanted to complement her and half of him wanted to say something rather rude, though most would think it flirting. His smarter side one and he smiled. "Hi, you look really lovely tonight." He told her matter of fact like and then pulled the flowers out from behind his back. "Before you get man and say this isn't a date, I know it isn't. I just wanted to apologize for being rude to you yesterday and just leaving." He told her and gave her a bit of a boyish smile, the purple and pink flowers looking quite nice as they should, he spent ten minutes trying to figure out which one seemed less datey and more sorry but not sorry your grandma died flowers.
He did mean it though, about her looking lovely. The black dress was classy and he could tell that she was emphasizing her bust on purpose. Hey, he was a guy...he couldn't help but look for a moment--or two. It was obvious he hadn't been with a girl in a while. The whole fact it took him a moment to get his ground when she had opened the door and the flower thing, it was a bit pitiful, though not entirely so, he felt like a dork though. That was for sure.

Acacia watched as Sean gawked at her for a moment and her lips pressed together in mild annoyance. Truly were all men such pigs? At his words though her blue eyes gazed at Sean in shock at his compliment. Well...maybe he wasn't half bad. Stepping out of the door way she moved of to the side giving Sean room to enter her appartment. " Thankyou." She said softly.
Well he was full of suprises wasn't he. Taking the flowers she once again could only guess at why Falco had paired the two of them up. Maybe they could work well together after all. " I suppose the blame isn't all yours though is it." She began slowly. " I didn't help did I." She realised. " I'm sorry." She offered.
She'd worked alone ever since they'd first started out. She'd sus out the places they'd rob. Give them an alabi and befriend the owners. No one ever suspected her, she was the sweet friendly child and now the menacing seductress. She got away with everything but Falco wanted to stick Sean in on her turf. It was rather insulting.
" I know why Falco paired you with me...I just don't like it." Nothing was going to change that fact. " I will work with you though, I wont risk our cover tonight by doing something stupid and I don't fancy being shot ever again either." She added. Getting a vase she tipped water in it then placed the flowers inside. " Tonight is a big deal..but I don't like having you there either." She wasn't being rude about this. " Their dangerorus and don't go and bitch about how you can handle your own. I don't like it, so I'm telling you anything dirty happens and we're out. Okay."

Sean nodded at her apology, not really needing one but appreciating it. Maybe they could be a little more teamy then he had originally though they could be. He watched as she put the flowers in a vase and looked around her apartment. It was neat and rather nice in a way. Not exactly what he had expected her to live in, but of course, he had forgotten she was one of the higher ups and, she seemed to know how to take care of herself.
She was being forward, which he didn't mind, much less grr than last night. "I understand." He responded, hands behind his back, back straight and head held high. He looked like a professional body guard. One might have said military if he hadn't thought to stop with the foot positions and he wasn't wearing a uniform. "Though, I would respectfully like to say that I would like it if you would listen if I think some shit is about to go down as well. Getting shot is the last thing in my mind. It hurts and I don't particulalry want to feel a bullet in my skin again." He told her, making it obvious that he had been shot before, though he wasn't going to say that it was overseas in war. She could believe it was a gang fight for all he cared. So long as she knew that he would error on the side of caution when it came to something like that. He was packing tonight though, so he could fire back if need be.

Acacia didn't even need to bother with a sarcastic response, as one look at Sean confirmed that he really did understand what she was saying. " So it's settled. Neither of us plan on getting shot tonight." She pointed out.
When he spoke of having been previously shot she looked at him curiously before forming her own opinion. " I've had a bullet in my leg... She said with a slight shrug of her shoulder. Now indulging him with further information she turned her head. Was it possible he'd been shot at over a drug trade gone wrong? Falco had him as a drug runner. Perhaps he'd had other previous employment in that trade throughout the city.
Opening her kitchen draw she pulled out a gun. She was cunning, it was licensed and she was squeaky clean for all the police new. There was nothing they could even pin on her. Placing the gun into her bag she closed her eyes momentarily leaining against the kitchen bench. " I just want tonight over and done with already." She admitted.

At her comment of having a bullet in her leg, Sean figured it couldn't hurt to warn her about his little injury. "Lets just say, don't try to have me catch something important if my left arm is full." He commented eying the gun that she pulled out of the drawer. He didn't comment on it at all, but he guessed that it would most likely check out if he were to run it through the data system. This woman seemed to know what she was doing, having been around the block a few times.
It seemed she really wanted this over with, almost as much as he did. "As much as I love a good game of cards with a beautiful woman next to me, I would have to agree with you there." He admitted, not afraid that he had obviously made it clear that he found her attractive. Most men would be stupid to not think so. She was very attractive, Sean would love to take home a woman such as herself, but of course, he wasn't about to go after her. She was dangerous, he knew that, though that sort of made her a tad bit more alluring. And he also just wasn't a guy to chase. He loved admiring, but never really seemed to go for it, just flirting here and there until the girl lost interest in his non move making.
