Acacia stared at Sean curiously for a moment opened her mouth to say something then quickly decided against it. She didn't want to elaborate on how she'd gotten the injury nor go into further detail about the scar tissue still there. Not to mention Falco had forbidden her to talk about it more or less. It was a tabboo area, as far as he was concerned she'd never been shot at.
" I'll keep that in mind." She answered. His sentence made her grin slightly though. " You can play poker?" She asked. " Please say you can." Already a plan was hatching in her clever little mind. If he could play poker, then Sean could play a game..of course that's if he was up for it. He'd be able to do his own listening and possibly would catch something worthwhile in the conversations?

He hoped she did keep it in mind, he was quite serious. At times his hand wouldn't grip properly, or his arm didn't move as quick as he wanted. His reflexes in his whole right arm were just dead at times and even physical therapy couldn't help it, nor could surgery. "Of course I can play poker, I used to---" He paused for a moment, trying not to say anything about his time in the military. "play with some of the sneakiest bastards you would ever meet." He boasted with a smile, ignoring his almost slip up. It was obvious there were things he didn't want Acacia to know, just as he was sure there were things she didn't want him to know. They were at a stale mate there and should have a mutual agreement, for now.
He wondered what was going through that mind of hers. He had to look away as he found his eyes wondering to places they shouldn't. He was trying to be polite, he could just stare. After all, she looked quite alluring in the getup she was in, he was sure that he didn't look even as close in comparison. Pulling his sleeve up, he checked the time, a nice gold watch on his left wrist, a tattoo showing tendrils underneath, on the inner side of his wrist.

Grinning with mischief she nodded her head. " Which means you'll be able to play tonight, right?" She answered as he boasted. " It's perfect. I can do my magic. You can play, get to know the guys. The might even talk to you if you can play right, but that doesn't matter. They'll talk to eachother and if you play well they'll accept you. " She was quite liking the idea of not being the only one to get information. " And, this could work out well. I mean of course we don't really want to go back, But if we got an invitation to attend another night it works in our favour." She mused to herself. " And all you really have to do is sit there answer questions when prompted...I do hope your a good liar. "She spoke thinking out loud, " And play a good game of poker." She added. " There you'll be able to here conversations that I might miss out on."
Now she was growing more agreeable on the fact that she had to work with Sean. " I think we may just pull this off after all." As he checked the time she herself looked at her own clock. " I suppose we'd better be going. I'm driving. You don't have a choice in that matter, and we're taking my car."

Sean couldn't help but smile some as Acacia had a whole plan formed in mere moments. She was quick on her toes, he would give her that. "It is perfect, because I can spot a tell and play a hand like a pro." He exaggerated some but he wasn't half bad. He had been the champion in the poker tournament every year in college. However, that might have been because the others couldn't keep their eyes off of the stripping girls around the room. Sean knew how to stay focused, however it had pained him not to watch, though he had needed the money badly.
'You have no idea,' he mused to himself about being a good liar. For one, he was an undercover cop, going undercover in the drug ring. How cray was that. How many lies was he going to have to cover his ass with? Eyes widening at Acacia's bossy demand about her driving, he just nodded his head and responded, "Yes, mam." His tone was a bit gruff but not very noticeable. Following her, he stayed behind, worried that if he got next to her or behind, she might bite, not literally of course. "This will be very good as long as everything goes to plan. You have quite the quick mind, if I might add." He commented, hands in his pockets.

" I suppose you are useful after all." Acacia said with a slight smile. " Guess Falco wasn't totally crazy pairing us up then." Not gracing him with a reply as he called her ma'am she began to walk towards her stairs then made her way into the garage knowing he was following her.
As long as everything went according to plan then it would be a breeze and she'd be home quite early hopefully. " You have to be quick on your toes. If something goes wrong then you need to bluff your way out of it." Keys in hand she unlocked her car got into the driver side and waited for sean to enter the passenger side. " Not to mention it's how we all survived as kids. We stole...a lot at that, but it fed us when our foster parents wouldn't." Giving him a look at the corner of her eye she shrugged some. " They used me a lot even then. I was cute and innocent, if only they knew I'd set them up every time."

Of course I'm useful, Sean thought to himself with a little bit of annoyance. He wasn't just some useless thug. "Falco, does seem to know what he is doing most of the time." He commented, being honest. The man did know how to run a crime ring, the whole roundabout schemes and careful practice of screening who came in to his circle said well enough that he had been doing this for a while.
"I'll be able to bluff my way out of it, though are there any signs I should know in case trouble comes up? Some way to discreetly let one another know if somethings wrong?" He questioned, just now thinking that it might be a good idea in case some sort of bad situation came up.
Well, she told him a bit about her past in a way, she apparently was a foster child, her parents either not wanting her or not being able to take care of her. He wouldn't ask but it was a bit insightful. "That I can believe." He smirked in response, he could definitley see her being a cute kid that tricked people easily.

Acacia held her own skeptical doubts but forced herself to nod her head. " Yeah Falco's smart..of course he does." Though the smile didn't quite met her eyes when she spoke about Falco. Pulling the car out she put it into neutral for a moment waiting for the garage door to close before she took off.
His question caught her off guard and as she concentrated on driving she nibbled on her bottom lip slightly. " Anything you don't feel comfortable with..or any display of weapons you get out.." She said firmly. " I'll try to keep near you so if something does happen I might just interupt and say we had plans. I don't know i'll think of a good excuse. We don't want to make a discreet signal or rubbish like that, it's just provides them with an opertunity to get caught." She said more thinking out loud.
" Yes, well you do what you can to survive." Grinning some she pulled up infront of a nice looking mansion. " I'll try my best to stay near you okay, but I can't promise anything."

Sean nodded as she told him that the signal thing was silly. He supposed it was but also knew that it would be hard to bluff their way out of a situation. Sometimes things just didn't go that easily. However, she said that she would try and stay close to him. That would be good, though unlikely if she was going to seduce either men into giving away information. He hoped for her sake that she wouldn't have to sleep with them, he was pretty sure she wouldn't go that far though. It seemed to him, so far, that she wasn't the whoring herself out for info type.
When they got there, he took a breath and got out of the car. "Of course, good luck on your end." He responded, a bit of a boyish smile on his lips. Shutting the car door, he straitened out his suit and tie, making sure you couldn't tell that he was packing. It wasn't good to go in with it obvious that you had a gun. That would just cause trouble from the start.
Wondering what she was going to say their relationship was, he didn't want to walk too close to her, but not far away, figuring that they were supposed to go in together. It was a rather lovely mansion, however he was wondering if the money they had used to get it was clean. Brushing the thought out of his mind, he got it set in his mind to be who everyone wanted him to be tonight. Putting his face in a more serious expression, he relaxed his body and waited for instructions from Acacia.

Exiting the car she took a firm hold on her bag. " Thanks.." She said softly. " They know who I am, but to them I just work at the bar and am good entertainment." Fixing him a look she couldn't help but be curious as to what he thought she'd do.
Shrugging lightly she walked up the stairs towards the mansion. Stopping at the door she displayed her invitation. " This is my friend Sean." They'd draw their own conclusions of course on what type of friend Sean was. Hopefully she wouldn't need to act on it though. Giving the main room a sweeping stare she took in the men standing at the corner they'd participate in the poker but for now they weren't who she'd start on. " Come on. Ladies gossip is always the best." Then again she might get an earful of crap. Who could tell. Taking him by the arm she began to steer Sean upstairs.

Following Acacia, Sean didn't say a word at the door, only nodded when the man looked at him. They got in fine and he looked around upon entering, locating exits and where certain people, though he didn't get much time to look around as Acacia took him towards the stairs.
It was quite the luxurious place the people dressed look wealthy or were pretending to be. He saw a few faces that he recognized the cops had suspicions of them do illegal drug trades among other undesirable acts. Before he knew it, Sean was already up the stairs. Looking around, he glanced to Acacia. Where was she leading him? He was sure it was the poker table, but he couldn't be positive until he was there and it was staring him right in the face. ((ouch, sorry bout post))

Tossing her black hair over her shoulder she kept steering Sean upstairs then stopped on the landing. Looking at him quietly she winked cheekily then stepped out of his view reveiling the poker table and very few women in this part of the mansion. " Show time."
" Well look who's finally turned up." Sharing a look with Sean she then lightly took his hand then walked over to one of the men from the photographs, tonights target number one had been easy to spot. " Your invite said six. I'm here and it's six. If you wanted me here earlier all you had to do was ask." She spoke playfully. Leaning over the poker table she checked his cards. " Hey none of that, your a rotten cheat." Sighing dramatically she straightened herself out. " Jack refuses to play cards with me. See he thinsk I cheat." She explained to Sean. " I know she cheats, I just can't prove it. She's a tricky little minx." Battering her eyelashes at him she took a step towards Sean. " Well what about my good friend Sean here?" She asked. " Can he play cards with you Jack?" Straightening herself she silently prayed Jack would allow Sean onto the game.
" Well boy can you play?" Jack asked. " He sure can." Acacia interrupted. " Let the man talk, there's playing...then there's playing. Does he even have the cash?" Rolling her eyes she took a seat at the poker table leaning lazily against Jack. " Let's say you give him a shot and I cover any of his losses?" She bargained. " Your lucky your so pretty. I don't let just anybody play my poker games." Bingo they were in.
" Your good friend huh." Smirking some Jack placed another bet. " What was that bloke last week then. Or are we in the market for a new one already." Poor Sean they weren't going to straight away accept him. He'd have to prove himself to them. That might not be such a bad thing. Standing up she whispered into Jack's ear. " Fine fine." Motioning for Sean to sit he then looked at him. " Next round your playing..unless you'd rather not?"

Watching and listening to the exchange, Sean was about to open his mouth quite a few times, but it was obvious that Acacia had other plans. Smoothly, she got him into the game, but he could tell that the man was slightly reluctant and it wasn't going to be easy to join in and get their trust. Sean could listen in though, and was fairly good at deciphering conversations, though he needed more background information for that.
Sitting down when told to, he glanced around at the others at the table, trying to gauge their abilities. He couldn't believe that their guy was actually like this though, it had been easier than he had thought to find him, though what else did he expect..Acacia HAD been invited to play poker after all.
Upon being questioned about playing the next round, Sean grinned. "I am always ready for a game, deal the cards." He challenged, though it was all in good fun as he was obviously trying to pull it off like he was here for a good time. Not too serious, but the way his brown eyes moved from each player made it obvious that he liked to win.

Still leaning forward Acacia placed her elbows on the table arching her back some knowing she was nearly displaying her underwear to the entire table. Not that it particularly phased her as she watched Jack deal the cards. " You know what. This is so boring." Pouting she stood up smoothing out her dress then moved over to one of the other men. " No way missy. You'll probably just tell your friend what cards we have." Pouting she folded her arms over her chest. " Fineee. I'll leave you to your poker game shall I."
Being mindful to keep Sean in her eyesight she went straight to buisiness walking over to one of the ladies near the bar she took a seat crossing her legs and leaning back lazily. " Come on Maddy give me the goss. Who do we have tonight." Grinning she looking at the woman. " Come on you know everything, wont you share a little teeny secret with me?" Maddy was so easy to deal with. Once the woman got talking she wouldn't shut up it's why she always started with her. Offered a glass of wine she took it then walked beside Maddy as she introduced her to some of the people in the room not playing poker.
" You'll have to keep your lady friend on a tighter leash." One of the men teased Sean. " She's already got her little claws onto poor Dean over there." Pointing to where Accacia was pressed up against one of the men he then looked over to Jack. " She looks alright tonight though doesn't she."

As the cards were dealt, Sean couldn't help but smirk, though it was well hidden. Acacia was being quite the little minx. He would have to watch out for her, not that she would ever have a reason to treat him as such and if she did, he would have to try and ignore her....however hard that would be.
Glancing at his cards, he left them face down. He had a fairly decent hand, though he might have to fold if the cards he wanted didn't show up. Half his mind on the game, he turned his sights to the man who had addressed him. He had watched Acacia leave and start talking to one of the women at the bar. However, she was now toying with a man.
He chuckled a little low as the man pointed out that her 'claws' were in the poor man. "She does look good tonight." He commented, throwing a few chips in as it was his turn. "As for her leash, I tend to let her wander. After all, I am the one taking her home tonight right." He joked, hoping to god that Acacia wouldn't kill him if they wanted to test their relationship. These kinds of people were always suspicious. 'She's going to hate me even more,' he thought with a twitch of his eye.
He had already figured out two of the men's tells. They were easy and by the look of it, the worst. He had yet to fine his main targets, but that would take time.

Samuel smirked some as he placed a hanful of chips in for his turn then nodded at Sean. " Ah yes, but for how long will she remain tied to one man right Jack?" They both shared a smirk and a laugh. " Ah that's enough for one night. She wont be impressed with us talking about her." Samuel said.
Placing his own chips down Jack cast Acacia a look before glancing back at the table. " I hear things are picking up for you Samuel." He said noting the large ammount of cash he had to play with. " Buisiness has been good then?" He inquired. " Much of a muchness, we can make as much drugs as we want. When Falco claims an area as his there's nothing that can be done." Samuel's words rang true enough. " Then perhaps you should be looking at other means of making money."
Running her long nails down the mans front she turned her head to glance at Sean momentarily before her interest were taken elsewhere. Target one Jack was sitting at the poker table but target two was headed straight for the bar. Bingo she'd finally found Philipe. " Not interested in poker tonight?" She drawled lazily. Walking over to him wine glass in hand she smiled. This might be easier then she'd thought, she could have Philipe and Sean could deal with Jack.
