He was talking potions with the wood elf however when he head hit his shoulder and she cuddled in he smiled faintly, taking off his cape he wrapped it about her shoulders. He noticed the terrain changing a bit into more harsh cold and bitter the mountains coming into view. It was a calm quiet, he was thankful for having a lot of elves and such close to have some heat however when the cart jerked he hesitated. Hearing that it was a broken wheel he smirked, he was getting a look from Neve- that was about right. Popping the cork on the potion he downed it in a second, dropping the vial in his pocket- he chanted and incantation and summoned a Flame atronach. She waited for a command as soon s he gave it the flap on the tent moved moving the air and letting in fresh oxygen- her head blanched and she threw a flame ball into his face then burst out into the cold air and began attacking every one that was Nord. He began random incantations he knew by heart to reinforce the effects of his conjuration and to protect it also- he felt they were people also in a strange way- though people thought him a bit funny for it. He nodded to Neve and Eruds before he began his incantations- to let them know- not that they could already see that it was time.

Neve jumped when she heard the boom of fire wizzing through the air. Eldus grabbed her arm and dragged her out of the way as a fire ball flew down into the snow and hit a Nord. She quickly pulled out of his grip, getting her bearings as she darted towards where she had seen the captians horse last. The man was on his horse barking orders for his men to fight. Neve found the spectacle commical, so she chose to sneak up on him. In a fluid motion slipped up behind the horse and reached for her bow that was there hanging from a tie on the saddle. Suddenly the horse reared, throwing the captian off and sending Neve into the snow. Her bow and the saddle slipped off the horse with the man and quickly scrambled to retrieve it. The captian's boot connected with her cheek, making Neve drop her bow and slide a few inches. He grabbed her hair and hauled her up, making her cry out in pain. "You little elven mutt. I'm going to make you pay for this insolence." Neve glared at the man and for a moment all went blank in her mind. "IIZ-SLEN-NUS" She shouted her voice projecting in a boom over the area. The captian who had been holding her hair dropped her as his body began to freeze over. Suddenly he was nothing but a giant popsicle leaving Niamh to clamor for her bow. She snatched some arrows that had spilled on the ground and took aim at a nord trying to run. She tagged him in the back, knowing him into the snow. "Eldus I have you dagger!" She called and the elf made his way over to her, snatching the dagger from the pack. "Alright let's get this finished." He said with a bit of humor before a guard attacked him, (I've got an idea for the end of the fight just keep it going for a bit )

( got it )
Atrious was reinforcing the atronach however he felt the time was running out- this fight was going fast then he anticipated. He was sweating - he had been using his mana to reinforce now he had to conjure something else.... not a problem but he had a limited supply of mana pots. When the flame atronach vanished with a sizzle in the snow people started looking nervous He conjured up a Storm Atronach next- he was sweating pretty bad now- this was a lot of work to focus on. It knew its orders before even being told- it sent a huge shock blast of static lightening at two nords who were comign at Atrious and they fell to the ground in twitching heeps. He sent it off to help others that were not Nord- to reclaim weapons and such- he was by himself then and he was nervous- he was checking his time before he took a mana shot from the vials he kept on him. This one took a lot of mana to sustain since it wasn't a strong one he used a technique that its attacks drew from his mana...once it depleted its own... dangerous though.

Neve turned her eyes in the direction of the other elves, noticing most had fled but some had stayed to get rid of the Storm Cloaks. She smiled lightly to herself and took aim at another nord that attemted to come at her. Getting him right in the forehead she dropped him and went over to snatch the quiver of better arrows off his back. She looked up in time to see Eldus in a bit of trouble and went to take aim at the guard but a soldier came up behind her, snatching her from behind with a dagger to her neck. She clawed at his arm that was round her, meanwhile trying to center herself to get out of the hold. "Alright no one move or she--" In a swift move, Neve used her bow and whacked the man over the head, sending him to the ground in a heap. His dagger knicked her neck, making her grab it lightly because of the sting. She hardly realized it till she pulled her hand away but her blood was a blue black . Not the normal red. She let the thought drop when she sw Eldus looking worried. "I'm fine. Help Atrious." She said and Eldus nodded going to cover Atrious while Neve took shots at the men with enough distance to her.

He looked nervous but had a faint smile as his lips moved fast as he said quick incantations to reinforce his conjuration. He was running low- butmost were gone- when hte storm laspsed he kept it that way he had a seat- behind the wood elf, trying to get air because hew as talkign too much to take a proper breath his lungs had been burning- he saw neve killing swiftly and efficiently as well as a few others. When the last one went down he laughed," It actually worked...By the 9...we are actually alive!"he was happy however he was tired from the lack of air, he stayed sitting down looking half enthused.

As the last Nord fell, a smile slipped onto Neve's face. They had done it...actually fought back against the Storm Cloaks. She lowered her bow and looked to Eldus and Atrious with a bright smile. "We did it! We're free!" She jumped up and down giggling in the snow. Eldus shared her happy feeling, him grinning like a fool. "Yes we did. But this isn't totally over. Everyone may have gotten away. But who's to say they won't still look for us? After all they were taking us somewhere..." Since the mood was sopiled Neve stopped bouncing and giggling and gave Eldus a rather sour frown. "Oh stop your worrying. No one will find us out here. we're all alone--"Before she could finish, in a move all to quick an arrow struck Eldus right through the heart. Neve cursed, her eyes wide as she slid over to him and tried to help. She saw the lifeless look in his eyes and knew the elf was dead the moment the arrow pierced him. She pulled the arrow out and her eyes narrowed at the green sap that covered the solid gold arrow head. "Poisoned arrows..." She looked to her friend, the elf that had looked after her and instantly a pain and an anger rose within her. Neve's eyes seemed to glow with an icy rage that consumed her expression. She scowled in the direction the arrow came from, almost sensing someone was hiding there. Another arrow came out of the brush, this time aimed at Atrious but Neve slid infront of Atrious, taking a fighting stance. The arrow that came at her seemed to slow down a moment as she picked it from the air and re strung it, the momentum sending it back at the person full force. She saw a man in gold armor fall from the tree, his body broke from the height of his fall and the arrow that was lodged into the soft part of his throat. She saw the man had pointed ears and frowned. Why was an elf attacking them? The thunder of hooves on snow came up around them and she looked around to see many elven soldiers had shown up. All were clad in red and gold armor that look expensive to the touch, however an elven male in black robes came forward on a black horse. His face was long and he had peculiar looking golden skin with almost white blonde hair. "Well, you did us a favor by taking care of those idiots." He snickered, his accent haughty and almost sounding too proper to function. "We offered you no help!" She snarled, reaching for an arrow for her bow but only touched an empty quiver. She cursed mentally and took a step back towards Atrious. "Drop your weapons or be executed here and now." The elf commanded and Neve spared him a scowl. However, seeing as she was outnumbered and out armed, she placed her bow on the snow slowly before rising again. She raised her hands to show she wasn't about to attack and waited for Atrious to do the same. The elf on the horse seemed impatient and sneered at Atrious, "Are you deaf boy? Get to your feet to address your superiors Nord." Neve blinked realizing then that he thought Atrious was a Nord. That could either be a good thing....or a very bad thing..."Who are you?" Neve asked and the man gave her an incredulous look. "You are looking at the High Mage of The Thalmor Embassy heathen...No matter, we'll soon teach you your place. Welcome to Thalmor Justiciar, prisoners." He said before motioning for his goons to descend on them.
(I'm thinking they fight back and put the razzle dazzle fear into this guy which makes them see them as valuable)

Atrious scowled when then elf addressed him as though he were a Nord. Before he stood up. he pulled three vials from his belt, they were hidden on his person so they were fine to stand with. He saw how angry Neve looked, and he was going to give her a Small change to make up fro them killing her friend. He downed a potion quickly to replenish his magik, he shivered since it was sweating in the snow. He took a step closer to Neve speaking quickly, as the men got closer." I can give you enchanted arrows to slay them but you gotta understand they don't last long. I can conjure something else to help you but once that's over I'm not gonna last long- I don't do melee." He muttered some thing and pointed at her with his hands, and she had a set of flaming arrows. However they would never run out as long as he had the spell- though- it drained a lot of his mana... He was sure she knew he wasn't going to be captured but he hoped she was willing to fight them as much as him. He knew that these Thalmor gave Elves a very bad name.

Neve didn't let her expression show her curiousity as he told her about a spell he could cast. Enchanted arrows....well that sounded fun. "Keep on your guard...I'll help look out for you." She told him with a sly little quirk of her lips before grabbing her bow from the snow. The men reacted, drawing their own weapons. Neve hesitantly at first raised her hand and grabbed one of the flaming arrows, only to find it didn't burn her. She smiled watching the fire lick at her hand while she took aim at one of the men approaching. She landed an arrow through his armor, the molten heat searing through the Moon Ore the elven armor was made of. He screamed in pain causing his bretheren to approach at a much fast frenzy. One elf got to close to kill traditionally so Neve brought her bow down on his head befor planting a kick on his chest the other grabbed her foot but she shoved an arrow through his neck, taking care of him quickly. She fought with the ferocity of a Khajiit dangerous and violent despite her dainty appearance. She wasn't however very strong, just very accurate. She took aim at the Mage's horse, missing the animals head on purpose to spook it. It threw the mage to the ground allowing Neve to attempt to take aim at him next. However a soldier came up behind her in her blind rage and grabbed her, hauling her back by a hand to the back of her neck. The female forced her face first into the snow applying more pressure to the point it was crippling. She struggled in the snow but couldn't get her bearings enough to kill the woman. She was also exhausted from her lack of good rest and her bout of fighting earlier...

Artious was getting tired himself but was pumped up on adrenaline. The battle was going well until he saw some one come around and attack Neve form behind- Slamming another potion- he smashed it against the side of a rock- breaking it and making it a very sharp one time tool. He ran- jumped on the elf and stabbed it right int he neck- its blood covering both him and Neve- but rolling the body off of her quicjkly he helped her up. He nodded to her with a weak smile then went back to muttering and dodging little ranged attacks, his eyes focused on the Mage. He had a fire atronach on him- master skill level- it was taking up most of his mana just to summon her after all. He wasn't sure how this Elf was at magic but he was good... very good- he hoped his low mana could keep up.

Neve felt the wet blood on her and the weight suddenly off her. She looked up out of the snow an saw Atrious there, bloody and exhausted as he helped her up. She let him leave, shocked at how he disposed of the elf but glad he had the guts to do it....she had a new respect for the elf. She grabbed her bow and took another round of arrows to take care of the approaching soldiers. The Mage casted a ward to keep the fire off but his focus was on Atrious, the newly discovered Mage. He aimed a lightning spell at him and it cracked off Atrious's own defenses as richoshed on the tree knocking the branch down into the snow. "I see your a Mage boy. Lets see if you can keep up with a high Elf level." High Elves had extreme levels of magic. Neve watched as he used soul drain on one of his own and projected a familiar out into the snow, a wolf made of lightning that lunged at the flame atronach. It but into its arm causing a blinding static roar that made Neve stumble to shield her eyes from the light. She and the other soldiers looked wide eyed and terrified as the Mages battled

((Listen to while reading the post )) Atrious scowled at being called a boy, he was a grown elf- he was fully capable of his own things and entitled to be called a man- or elf at this stage of life. He was over 100 after all. " Bring it Nord lover." He said his face serious (the pic i sent you on the phone) He felt the static the was reflected off by his own shield- however when the static wolf familiar jumped at his flame Atronach he felt the burn from it- he was sure the other elf did too. He downed a conjuration fortify potion, its taste sour in his mouth but he muttered a few things to add resistance to shock to him and the atronach. The atronach was frozen for a moment as the initial impact however once the resist was placed it helped it move better. Shoving a fire spike into the electric dog -it shoved off of it- flying back wards a few feet from it. preparing another fire blasted attack it aimed it for the caster not the familiar- since it wasn't fully connected to him because of the soul drain. It came about and to the shield and smiled at him almost- like it was a sick joke. Firing a large amount of fire onto the shield- stressing tit and its user- so it drained mana quickly. Atrious could see that he was having slight issues with his mana with out a potion to boost him so he took full advantage of that. Downing his last potion at the moment, and then another to make sure he had the attack boost he needed- he was out of potions and had a full mana bar now- and he was actually pumped for this battle. Like he was wanting to prove himself now. He cast a summoning spell and his staff came wizzing threw the air and into his reach- where he snatched it out of the air. Its old gold color was flecked with blood from the battle, and it's scales seemed to glow with power as it anticipated a challenge. He held it in his right hand and muttered spell for chain lightening and pointed it at the his enemy. He was sure it would make it around his shield and he could cast it multiple times- but he wasn't sure if he wanted to kill him- he was an elf after all. Finally deciding to drain his mana- he did his best to get it down- until the elf collapsed on the ground- a hand raised in a last moments plead for life. He pulled his atronach off- its time expiring just in time to save the high elf's life. " You know not of whom you were addressing- I will let you live...Don't make me regret my choice- my father would disapprove." He said his grip on his staff knuckle white and he looked to Neve, the enchantment wore off a few seconds ago as well. He was looking to see what was next- if she wanted to split up on different ways he was alright with that- but only after he got his potions back else he would stay with her till hew as able to fight on his own.

Neve watched Atrious change, the battle seeming to consume him and change him into a raw fighting power. He challenged the Mage with the power that outmatched the Mage by a mile. He all but destroyed him, leavin the man begging for his life. The other Thalmor still alive took stances back, not attacking but not fleeing. Neve had no worries for them, mostly because she was in a mood to beat the hell out of more people. Neve wiped the blood from her face waiting till Atrious turned to her. She met his eyes, unable to break that cold gaze. He was just looking to her, as if silently asking her something. She was unsure how to answer, mostly because he was a stranger. What could she say to him? Neve's ears pricked as hoof beats came from nearby this time down the snowy slopes. A woman in a long cloak was wrapped up on the horse, looking regal from where she sat. She bore no armor, only thick clothing meant to ward the cold off her golden skin. The Mage quivering in fear instantly reacted to the site of the woman, the soldiers even dropping to one knee. Neve isn't bow though she realized this must be someone with wealth and title to these weird elves. The woman approached, her amber eyes flicking over the dead, to her Mage lying in the snow and the two bloodied warriors that had caused all this damage. A thin smile pulled at her lips till the Mage spoke. "Ambassador Ravenna. Please it is not safe--" she looked to the Mage on the ground her eyes taking on a furious hue, her lips pulling into a dangerous frown. "Tell me Ancano, how did an entire Thalmor scouting group get decimated by a pair of elven prisoners?" Ancano, the Mage, looked startled and stammered to answer. She silenced him with a wave of her hand before looking to the Mage standing over him. "If you would be so kind as to not kill the fool. My superiors would be most appreciative...I would be greatful to not have to replace him on such short notice." She spoke smoothly, Cooly as if she spoke to a colleague and not a prisoner. Ravenna then looked to Neve who was glaring at her through white hair that was catching the wind. She looked curiously at the two, both looking like very strange elves indeed. But perhaps this could be just what she needed... "Please, I offer peace, soldiers lower your weapons. I anull any ills they have committed...they are free to go." She said before giving them a sly half smile. "Lest you two would like shelter from the coming blizzard...I promise no harm to you. Ill even let you keep your weapons..." She said but Neve scoffed. "And why the hell would I trust you?" Ravenna looked to Neve and gave her a quirk of one eyebrow, catty but fair..."I'm not asking for trust. I'm offering sanctuary from the cold, for a small price." Neve seeme ready to turn her down again but Ravenna spoke over her. "Simply that you hear me out on a small offer. No needed acceptance...just for you to listen. That is all."

Atrious listened to the exchange between the two elves before him, and smirked at being thanked for not killing him, he nodded to her in moderation however he stiffened when Neve shouted at the other elf. She was a powerful elf by her looks, however he-like Neve didn't bow. He took into consideration about their offer and looked skyward to see the coming signs of the blizzard- however he wasn't sure if he was capable of clearing the skies for this whole time to keep them alive- which made him frown. " I will agree. I will hear you out for shelter." He took a step forward to align himself even with Neve looking at her to know he was willing to go- and that she should as well- for her safety. " Neve, You should conciser- so I might ask you a few questions this evening..." He said to her quietly, wondering if she would listen to him since he was a stranger practically after all. He hadn't know anything but a name and a trade from her.

Neve looked to Atrious her stare severe yet questioning. After they had Stormcloaks drag them here, tried to kill them, killed Eldus, he was going to trust them? Neve's glare went to the woman who looked all cocky that the male had agreed to come. How she smiled and batted those long brown lashes before looking to Neve with an almost snicker, "And you pale one?" If Neve had the arrows to do it, she would have knocked the bitch off her high horse, literally, but since she didn't she settled for a venomous look...if only the her stare could thrown real daggers... Blizzards didn't frighten Neve the way it did most Nords, after all she had survived a blizzard when the Khajiit's found her. She was fine in the cold, hardly felt the chill, only if she was left in the cold too long....and a Skyrim blizzard was known to be thick and very prolonged. She paused when Atrious spoke again and she remembered again what she had thought when he was fighting along side her. She had respect for him...so could she not trust him now...of all times? Neve wasn't one to trust many people but this Atrious elf seemed alright... With a huff she nodded, fixing her icy stare on him. "Just till the blizzards over." She said before Ravenna gave a victorious smile. "Good, now this way. The cold is rather dreadful." She kicked her horse into a trott and her soldiers rose in suit following after their mistress. Neve followed them patiently with Atrious till they reached massive gates guarded by more elves. She looked shocked by the sheer size of some of them, mostly because she was a spritely size, coming up to a little bellow Atrious's shoulder just about. She walked past the guards, noticing a few eyeing her curiously despite the blood on her. Seems even gore couldn't ward off a primal male response to woman not clad in armor or having a 'butch' appearance like most the other women soldies seemed to have obtained out here, all except for the pretty little trinket uptop her horse. She leapt off the horse when they reached a cobble stair case that lead up into a massive building hidden within the court yard of snow and stone. Neve noticed the place was heavily guarded and two doors marked both sides of the stair case they were one, blood smeered across one. She stood tall but unconciously moved closer to Atrious, being that he was the only semi-ally she had here. They entered a foyer type area a long hall leading into a circular room with two stair cases on each side and many adjoining rooms bellow the second level. "This is the Thalmor Justiciar, a maximum security prison for Skyrim...the best next to The Pit in Markarth..." Ravenna walked ahead down the well lit hallway, resembling a palace the High King of Skyrim might inhabit. "It also functions as an Embassy for Thalmor and Skyrim relations....I am it's Ambassador... Ravenna Di Darthwood. Might I have your names? I intend to tell it to the staff when they take you to freshen up. You see we prefer to know at least the names of our guests here....in case they shouldn't be leaving." she laughed lightly as if the last comment was a joke, but Neve sensed it was a hidden threat. She felt a sneer pull at her lip but she kept it down with a sugary sweet feeling. "My name is Neve. That's it." She looked to Atrious waiting for him to introduce himself so that she could get this blood off her. She hated smelling like blood, even if she didn't mind killing. Something about it awakened a dark panic in her that she didn't understand, one she wasn't sure where it came from...

He followed and gave the male guards looking Neve over dirty looks making them return to their posts properly. Once inside and asked about their names, he sighed- he was at an indecision on what to tell her. When the high elf turned to him inquiring about his name he sighed," Atrious of Winterhold College." Thats what he was going by because 'Atrious son of Priest Nahkriin' was too dangerous much less valuable or these scummy little elves.
