"Theo?"Leah had called, his head snapped up and he jumped over the couch to get up the stairs. Skipping a few steps he was in front of her, looking over her slightly scared yet confused face. "Hey, sorry You passed out..." He wrapped an arm around her shoulders and lead her down the stairs to the little living space that the twins usually used for simple quiet family issues. Gerald had Ryan on his lap and was hugging him close, his face along his side so he could see Leah and Theo. "Are you alright Leah?" He sounded a bit concerned since Theo's face had concern etched into it. He didn't want her to be hurt or hate him for anything. "Here, have a seat Leah..." Ryan was simply sitting there, he looked at her a bit reserved but not mad, He was simply observing them all. Gerald was out of his usual character but he was concerned since Ryan had told him about what Leah had said about them being fascinating. That really had made them happy that they knew her.

Leah had been happy to see Theo show up, to see him actually there and not gone like she expected. But the next words out of his mouth made her feel the guilt well up in her stomach, the reminder that she had caused them more trouble and yet he was apologizing yet again. It made her want to crawl back into the comfortable bed and not come back out, but when he pulled her close she couldn’t help but lean close, relishing in the warmth the contact gave her. She would just have to be selfish enough to take up his time, despite how he knew who she was associated with and that it might bring bad memories for him. Of course when she came down, Ryan and Gerald were waiting, and she was glad to see them.
Gerald surprisingly was the one to speak first, asking her if she was okay before Theo offered her a seat that she took on the couch. “I’m fine, I mean, I should be right?” She said rubbing the back of her head as she thought about the odd dream she had. Whatever the dream was pointing her in the direction of…it was nagging her terribly. She looked back to Ryan and Gerald, even Theo and felt the small guilt only grow.
“I’m sorry for troubling you guys again…I don’t know what came over me at the restaurant, but it was my fault for asking... I guess I just didn’t expect the answers I would get.” She said, pushing a bang behind her ear as she looked down. She was feeling off, unable to look the others in the eye and not thinking clearly. How should she react? Definitely not with her usual confidence, but then how did she need to take this, how did they need her to act?

Ryan looked at her and noticed she was nervous. "I think you should be fine." He had her looked over already with the nuro-scanner while Theo was out of the room, It showed that she was dreaming an intense dream. He didn't tell Theo because he was worried that she was having a bad dream. Leaving him be on the ideas to dwell in his own head, he thought it over in his head. Theo shook his head when she started apologizing,"Don't apologize, There is no need-you didn't know your body would shut down..." He took a close seat to Leah on the couch putting a hand on her shoulder, feeling he was a little close but he didn't really feel like listening to what his political self thought. He wanted a bit of closure himself, since he was still kinda in shock. One of his wings half wrapped around her, the heat pushing against her back- it was a comforting warmth, not an over bearing one. "Its alright-You could never be a burden to me." Gerald was watching them and a smile came over his face," I have a question, If I might ask you- What were you dreaming about?"Ryan spoke out of turn- having totally blown what Gerald was going to say out of the water. "Ryan...Thats not the nicest ting to ask ya know..." He patted him on the side letting him know he didn't like how he was acting tonight.

Leah noticed Ryan's odd behavior. He was acting diffferently than he usually was. Normally Gerald would ask such a direct question of her but Ryan was the first to ask. Then again, she'd caused alot of stressss for this family, more than she imagined. It had to be hard on all of them.
And yet Theo still showedd her that kindness, the enclosure of his wing making her feel a little less tense. It was a comfort to her, their soft feel on what skin did brush a feather, the warmth they radiated, and the smell that she loved coming from him who she was now close to. Despite the tenseness of the air from the question, she felt that she could think a little better like this, or at least enough to come up with something to cover for herself in this situation. God forbid she'd been talking in her sleep and any of them had heard a thing from her dream...
"It's okay...Ryan, I guess you really would like to know what I dream. But saddly I don't exactly know myself. See, even when I was little, granted there was a period where these things disappeared, I had very odd dreams. So odd even my father found them interesting and yet the rest of his family called me a witch or, my personal favorite, demon." She gave them all a look, one that was mixed with perfect seriousness and slight annoyance. "So feel lucky, Alex is the only other person that knows about this." It seemed no matter what she did she could never just have a normal relationship with anyone. It all had to be twisted all around, with one side being more honest than the other. Her side always seemed to be the more gaurded of the two, since she found that herself as a whole, was just like Evelyn said, she was a freak. She didn't know wether that really equated to her being a science venture of her father...but how could he have known before? After all she just started having those odd dreams when she was four...hense what ended her up in the orphanage. But for a child she did spend a lot of time in her fathers office, even after school when her mother was working....
It was hard now to look at her life and see it as the normal thing she thought it had been. Mr and possibly Mrs. Emar were involved in something greater that she didn't have enough knowledge to really understand. But it didn't change the fact that these words hurt her, made her feel like she was back to being a childwith no real help to escape her grandmother or the rest of the Emar family.
Would her new friends all call her a freak for telling them all this? Did she have a right to lie and say she was just kidding now? She looked at the floor and felt the overwhelm of emotions hitting her again. Damn, why was she so emotional all of a sudden? She even felt eyes stinging like she wanted to cry. She felt lost in all of this like her life really was nothing normal and that she really was just another stray to the Emars. Also she didn't want them to view her badly...if she lost another person due to her true self, she didn't think she'd be able to handle it as easily as she could before.

Ryan's skeptical look wasn't anything new to Theo. He was accustomed to it, since being closed doors Ryan had an attitude of his own. Under stress Gerald was the first to break but Ryan would peruse it till it died- he was the stronger of the two per say. Theo was trying to be comforting, not really looking at the faces or expression that were around the room, his main concern was Leah and how she was feeling. "Demon?" "Demon?" both mimicked as they listened to her speak. "That doesn't make me feel lucky...That makes me feel ashamed of the human race...." His face grew to a colored red but it wasn't entirely over what she had said but over his name, 'Alex'. He hated him, he was one of the people who knew and was probably making her miserable with it, his cold eyes looking at her like she were a tool; It disgusted him. Seeing the pained expression on her face he felt bad, tightening his wings' grip on her so more feathers enveloped her, he wanted t protect her- to keep her away from Ryan's and Gerald's obscene looks. They them selves had been called demons their whole lives adn they knew better than anyone what it felt like but they wold never admit it.Tightening his grip on her he pulled her into his lap and had his wings loosely wrapped around her. He couldn't stand to see any one cry- It made his dye a little inside when he saw her cry. "So much pain and anger...We understand Leah. You don't need to explain your selves to us...We all- Including Theo- we understand you..."

Leah was shocked when Theo suddenly, not only pulled her close, but on top of him. The close contact made her cheeks turn a rosy pink but also made a tear or two escape her attempt at control. She hated this, acting so weak and making people have to worry and console her. She should be consoling them, telling them they didn’t deserve the hand life dealt them, and telling them that she couldn’t understand the pain they must have gone through. After all she wasn’t the one with the wings or the genetics that set her apart from everyone else. She just had a strange inner eye for things around her, things that would happen or had. It was nothing people could see or instantly judge her with without knowing. But damn did she enjoy the comfort Theo gave her, in fact at the moment she couldn’t stop herself from feeling the stir of emotion she wasn’t quite used to. The warmth of his arms, the feeling of safety being in the enclose of his wings, and the way it made her heart pound, all flowed through her mind. Her face tilted up to look at him, wondering if he was really okay with her being there, or if he could really tell how thankful she was for someone there to hold her. She realized she had been silent for so long, just looking at Theo with that lost but curious expression and quickly looked away, back to what she could partially see past the feathers was Gerald and Ryan. “Thank you, that means a lot. I guess that’s why I trust you guys so much… Look I didn’t mean to get huffy, but my past really isn’t the happiest topic, kinda like you guys, espcially after finding out what kind of person my father might have been...But, after all it’s the future that matters, right?” She said, remembering that little words of wisdom from her father. She swallowed the ache that had tried to settle in her throat, letting herself relax a little more so that she could really answer and speak with a clear head. She didn’t want to cause more confusion. “But, I can say at least this. Those weird dreams seem to always lead to something. Like they show me things some times, past times and, well this might sound crazy, but sometimes things that haven’t even happened yet. But I'm not so sure...after all I don't have any kind of proof..” She looked up at Theo, to make sure his expression hadn’t changed. She didn’t want him to look at her differently for some reason and didn’t want to be distant from him.

((So Sorry its long... It's taken me 2 hours to post this one..I needed to get my stuff started lol Get your Alex chary ready to get his badge lol)) He took a deep breath, he was too upset to be here. Gerald watched how she reacted to Theo's compulsions, she didn't seem to object, the thought that was still curious. "Don't worry about your appearance to us. We have each been there our selves. We just need to be around people we know can understand us. Theo?" Theo didn't move for a few moments then responded with a "mhm?" Gerald pursed his lips, "Your phone is going off." Looking down at the table the little green phone was indeed buzzing on the hard wood. He made no move to answer it- that would mean he had to take his hold off Leah. Ryan grabbed it and flipped it open, answering it . "Hello, Mr. Markin's phone?....Really...Yes right away I will deliver the message Sir. "Closing the phone with a quiet click he looked at Theo, who was busy with his head tucked next to Leah's neck so he could take in her sent better. It looked like he was cuddling-he was but he didn't have any right too.Whispering into her hear he was sure only she could hear, " Its the past not the future that matters..." He had a feeling what was going to happen. "Theo...I have an important mission statement- would you like to hear it in front of Leah or in another room?" Ryan wasn't too pleased to be talking about this in front of Leah she could go off and tell Alex...that wouldn't be good. "Keep in mind- she knows others with their own badges..." Gerald was on the same page as his brother. "Go ahead. I trust her." Sighing he took a breath, " They need you to take a trip to Etern-Excuse me-The paradise- to scope out a possible Territory line. So look for possible inhabitants. Since only 2 out of the 4 have been decided- It is a mission for you and Leon. You will both be sent to look. " "How long will it take?" "As long as it takes. So enjoy your company- its supposed to be desolate..." Nodding to him he still hasn't moved from his spot but he did ask one more question, " When?" "Tonight...when your ready." Being silent he planted a soft kiss on Leah's neck then got up and walked out of the room. He left her on the couch where he put her when he got up. He was unhappy about leaving now but it was an order. Opening up a window on the forth floor he jumped out snapping out his wings taking off. He reached his house shortly where he met Leon who was waiting in his living room with a another man from the organization. His wings were almost a cream color, but his pale blond hair and blue eyes were normal. Nothing about him was abnormal. "Hello- did you get your badge Leon?" Leon nodded putting on his amulet about his neck like Theo did. They went over to the window and Theo smiled. "Okay to get there we must free fall then hold out the badge and say the incantation to gain entrance into the Eternal Eden..." "Whats the sentence?" Theo smiled, You say your name and the creature on your badge, so mines Theo Banner Markin - Gryphon." nodding then both jumped out the window, doing as they would and then before they hit the ground simply...disappeared. Before he even opened his eyes, his nose was caressed by the soft sents of lush grass, and odd sweet flowers. When he opened his eyes- They were greeted with bright vibrant colors and a soft pure light from a sun not their own. Their air was light here- making him giddy, taking a slow breath he breathed in the sweet sents again. Leon saw not two feet from him a white wolf with blue curled up into its skin to match its cold eyes. Its' claws visible but it was calm- simply looking at him. "Hello-Wolf- I mean you no harm." The wolf made a snorting sound like it was laughing, that made Leon get a confused expression on his face. "I see-So I'm assuming you know me already?"The wolf nodded, making Leon freak out a bit, " So you can understand me?"Again it nodded,"So-" Gulping down some spit he got up onto his feet looking around for Theo." Where is a Avian-Theo Markin?" The wolf didn't react- it seemed confused. Looking down at his badge he noticed the badge had a wolf on it- picking it up off his chest where it was resting he looked at the wolf," Is this what makes you understand me?" Again a nod, smiled he started walking off towards the edge of the cliff he was by. It was a fantastic view but he did learn some thing- Theo was across the way on a large center island that was connected by two rock bridges. He was standing there with a rather odd looking rock. It didn't match the natural grey ones but it was a tan and red. Waving to Theo- Theo saw him. When he woke up- he was instantly attacked by something. He had apparently landed on it. It didn't seem too happy to see him but it calmed down once he introduced himself. It was a rather odd color of brown and cream with winding red horns coming out of its head. It's spiky claws scrapping the ground, it made for an intimidating appearance but ti was harmless to him now. It nuzzled against his leg- he raised his wings out so it could see them and it raised its arms as well to show him his wings that were connected on its arms. It was like a dog- it liked to follow and show affection. "So -Murderian---What do you think we should do about searching for inhabitants?" He wasn't sure what to call it so he changed the name every time. Pointing to Leon who was still waving the thing looked at him. "Thats Leon-He is a friend for now. Don't hurt him just yet." The thing nodded. Theo finally waved back. taking a hard jump off the ground he flapped his wings and took tot he light air easily- the thing followed him,"I'm guessing your my companion- my gryphon?" It chirped like a bird. He smiled heading over to Leon. ((sorry these are big but they are good quality 4 detail. Once you get the badge its yours to control.)) Dragon beast for the Dragon Badge Gryphon beast for the Gryphon badge Lion beast for the Lion Badge Wolf beast for Wolf Badge

Leah’s eyes widened a bit in surprise at Theo’s actions. Very forward, then again it wasn’t that she was mad at that, which was strange to her. Normally she would have pulled the bitch card at someone getting this close to her when she had only known them for such a short amount of time. Then again Theo didn’t fit into her norm at all anyways… When he sat her down, she rub the place where he’d kissed her on her neck, trying to play off the blush she got when she still could feel the sensation of his breath on her skin. Giving herself a mental slap, she tried to refocus. Theo was going somewhere…to a paradise? She blinked in thought. ‘Not A Paradie..The Paradise. The one Ryan and Gerald mentioned.’ She looked to the two wondering if she should ask. That hadn’t exactly looked very willing to say much in front of her about the topic to begin with….best not push her luck. “I take it this is something really important?” She asked, an outsider to most of this. Her phone buzzed in her pocket, making her jump slightly. She pulled out the phone and looked to see it was a text from Alex. She flipped the phone open, looking over the message with curiosity. “Sorry, father called me out for business. Didn’t get to check up on you tonight. Are you okay?” She read aloud but in a muttering sort of way to make it more to herself. “Yeah, of course!” She sent and less than a heartbeat later she got a response back.
“What happened?” Her eyes narrowed slightly at the phone. The guy had mother hen senses even over the phone?
“Nothing bad! Dinner went well, I passed out, and now I’m chilling at the Ashling’s.”
She attempted to make the text sound nonchalant but she knew better than to assume Alex would take it that way. Things were silent for a moment before her phone this time gave a trill, from receiving a call. She sighed and brought the phone to her ear. “Yeah?"
“I’m coming to get you.”
“I’m fine.” “No you’re not. I can hear it in your voice Leah.” She touched her throat, for a moment wondering if something pitiful really was in her voice. She cleared her throat. “I’m fine, I promise Alex. I don’t need you ruining your meeting with something like this..” She suddenly heard voices in the background, mumbled and deep voices that sounded almost monotonous. Someone was saying something to him and it was Alex’s turn to sigh. “Fine. Seems I can’t get out of here that easily. Have the Ashling’s drop you off at my home in an hour or so." “Yeah, okay. Be safe.” She said, a customary thing she always seemed to add to the ending of her calls. “I worry more about you.” With that there was a definite click, then silence on the other end. Leah closed the phone, still had it in her hand as she looked back to Ryan and Gerald with a slight smile. “Sorry, apparently I’m wanted back in a bit.” She said, an awkward laugh in her voice.

Gerald watched her face as she spoke on the phone figuring out who is was immediately."When does he want you by?" He knew Alex Forsyth threw a business venture and he was an ass to him because he said one comment. So he had no love for him. Ryan sighed knowing he was going to have to settle somethings out still. He wasn't sure what Theo had up his sleeve but he was sure it wasn't going to be pretty for Alex. "Very important. Its establishing ground rules and knowing what they can do- so if they are familiar with the territory they can have an advantage over the others. " He wasn't sure why he told her this but he did. "Don't worry we can get you there, But we will inform you when Theo returns. alright?" Gerald wasn't' sure why he wanted her to know besides if they didn't Theo would do it himself.
Theo landed smoothly by Leon but the thing with him slammed into the ground kicking up dirt. Getting up it shook the dirt off and chirped when Theo asked it if it was okay. "Well, I'm glad you made it alright Leon- Did you meet you beast?" He said as he looked over his shoulder at the white wolf. "You could say that. Well what do we do first?" Theo thought about ti for a second," We should get to know the type of area we are in then we can look for other creatures and such...okay?" Nodding they looked around with the creature following them. There were lots of odd and strange noises from the other brush and it was weird to be there with no other form of civilization any where to be seen. They soon met back up when the sun was starting to set- or so they thought- it was getting brighter. Leon frowned- he hated bright lights. "Here is second day light." He said in a curious tone mashed with humor and agitation. Theo laughed," Second day? hmm we could call it that. Since we are the first ones here after all."

“Soon, An hour or so…” She answered Gerald before looking to listen to Ryan’s talk about this mission Theo was on. So this Paradise place was more like an offensive information field of sorts, just territory to claim? She nodded in thought, understanding a little more. That was definitely better to know, especially that they would tell her when Theo got back. She blinked a little at how odd that sounded. “Thank you guys.” She said giving them a bright smile, in a much better mood than before. “To think I would find people this awesome by accident.” She said in a laugh.

"Accident- ACCIDENT! IS this what you call it!" Ryan screamed at her- he had gotten up- as he did he knocked the lamp on the floor breaking it-glass shattering all over the floor. Gerald stayed very still in his seat while Ryan stormed out of the room- breaking things as he went- yelling and ranting as he went. Glass could be heard breaking from the top floor, since the wife went to go start cleaning things up. Gerald was quiet still for a few more moments," I'm sorry for my brother- He is very very sensitive to how fate deals its blows. Every thing happens for a reason Leah. I want you to understand this. We have been around long enough to know this is a truth in life. I'm sorry once again- but I will take you home now- Or did you want to go to Alex's house? I can take you there as well.. But--I'll finish this conversation in the car..."He got up and took off his rob showing his casual pants with slippers and a lose shirt. It was his pajamas but he could go outside in it. Taking her to garage he picked the keys for the Bugatti, He was sure she didn't mind. Theo had the car last so it still had feathers in it, though he was going to have it cleaned later. " Hop in- Don't worry about the feathers- Theo borrowed the car last."As he got into the car his personality slowly started to change as it usually did when he wasn't in the comfort of his own home. "So just for your information- Theo is attached to you- he feels that you share a bond. So don't over react to anything small...However this Alex business isn't good for him...He is very jealous of him. He will never admit it but Ryan and I have noticed. I'm sorry Ryan flipped out again- he over reacts quite a bit when he does snap..." He opened the garage door and pulled out getting on the highway- heading towards Alex's house- he was assuming that's where she was going tonight since he had called and sounded angry.

Leah was more than happy to be out of the house when Ryan suddenly flipped out, all because of something she had said. Gerald had tried to explain it to her in a way that made it sound logical, but it only made her feel worse for causing more problems for the brothers. And now here she was, in a car, listening to Gerald tell her that Theo was attached to her and that she shouldn't be surprised by his actions. But could she help it? After all she never had trusted people so easily as she had Theo and his brothers. And now she was suposed to be conscious of some kind of bond they might have. A feather billowed from the AC and she caught it, playing with it out of thought and slight unease."I noticed...and Alex isn't too fond of Theo either." She admitted looking to Gerald. "But Alex is a brother to me. The only person that I can really call family..not that I can say for sure what I think of Theo based on right now. It seems This has been a stressful time for all of you...I should be apologizing for upsetting Ryan. But it wasn't like I meant to say something to make him angry-It was a compliment-but a failed one-" She stopped herself from rambling and looked back out the window at the dark begining to fall. "But I really don't blame him. Its...frightening to think that everything is already predestined." She said her fingers absent mindedly running along the soft feather.

"How can we ensure they never meet again-that is what I want you to ensure for me... If he gets his hands on him I'm afraid for his life. Theo can be a mindless creature as nature had intended him to be- but we Nurtured him to have 'freewill',"As the word left his lips it curled up into a crude snarl. "He has opinions and a heart and he puts things together logically with much emotion...He can't take back what he has already given." He had been watching her play with a feather mindlessly as she thought threw things but he had pulled in front of the house at he end of his last sentence. He unlocked the doors for her to get out. "Don't worry about my brother and I, we are merely pawns in a larger plan...If you need some thing- don't be afraid to give me a call-any time- any day. If you simply wanna talk or vent- call."Nodding to the feather," Take it- you might want it later...He might be gone for a while..." His face was sincere hoping he was being comforting to her since she as having a bad day.
Theo took a shaky breath in as Leon climbed up over the ledge. Theo wasn't used to the sir being this thin. It was taking it out of him but the wolf and the gryphon seemed to be perfectly fine. "Can't you both take us where we desire to go?" The gryphon gave a positive squeak exposing its back to Theo- The wolf sounded like it was laughing however. "I think yous is more willing then mine...Go on ahead- I'll catch up..." Nodding he got on the back and the thing began its straight vertical climb up the rock face- with ease. It didn't really notice Theo's weight as it climbed the vast rock face- the sun was setting and it was getting dark- he wasn't too happy about leaving Leon behind. Once at the top he stopped and began getting materials for a fire. Once he light it up the fire was a strange color. A pale purple, once he finished looking at it he turned around to hear a grunt as Leon pulled himself up over the lip. "Just in time." Theo joked, making Leon smile. "Thanks..."

Leah looked to the feather, not realizing she had been attached to it while they spoke. Gerald had explained his worries, making Leah understand as well as worry herself. She couldn’t imagine letting two important people getting in a fight. It wouldn’t end well for both…She nodded to Gerald, climbing out of the car looking back briefly to thank him. “Gerald, I really am grateful to you and your brothers…We’ll talk soon.” She shut the door behind her, waiting till he drove off before she turned to gate of the house. The guard came almost instantly, monitoring her with a straight laced look. “Business?” “Family and relation. Alex is expecting me.” The guard nodded, recognizing the girl almost instantly. “Welcome Miss Emar.” He said and she nodded to him as she entered the small door on the gate he held open for her. She was escorted to the house, being that the Foresythes kept things very secure. After all the multimillion dollar weapons franchise they ran was subject to rather nasty threats against them, mostly from angry investors and modern day mobsters. She walked through the home, not as big as the Ashling’s had been, mostly because of safety reasons. She followed the maid who led her to the office where the door was shut. That usually meant someone was doing business, making the maid pause as if unsure of what to do. Leah sighed, moving around her and opening the door herself. As expected there was a man in the office across the desk from Alex who was speaking in another language, one of the many he had to learn. The man with Alex seemed surprised at first then rather bemused when Leah walked quite nonchalantly over to Alex and sat on his desk facing him. The man babbled something to Alex, his secretary giving Leah the stink eye. “Please sir, she is a dear friend of mine.” Leah stuck her tongue out at the secretary who gave her a twitchy bow in response. “Perhaps this could be reschedualed?” Alex said and the man gave a jerky nod, stating something before leaving quickly. Leah looked to Alex after the huffy man had left and raised a brow at him. “So now your father has you working these kind of deals?” He shrugged with a small smile. “It’s not that bad. After all I have you to distract me when things get boring.” She rolled her eyes and gave her legs a small kick. “So..what happened today?” “Nothing much. Like I said, I was just…” She couldn’t really write this off as simply nothing, she knew she couldn’t lie like that, not to him. After all, she was still feeling a little shaken by all this. “Leah, what’s wrong?” She heard the concern in his voice and felt it tug at something inside of her, “You can tell me…please?”She stared Alex down for a moment, taking in the serious worry in his expression before looking away. “I heard a lot about my father today…and those dreams keep coming back…” She said, leaving out the part about Theo. She would respect Gerald’s wish to keep the two as far from each other as possible. Besides, Alex wouldn’t take to kindly to Theo being one of her father’s experiments. Alex's eyes suddenly seemed to glint with an odd emotion. She watched him for a moment before he finally said something. "I'm guessing it was all not so good..." He said and Leah shook her head. "No...It was horrible." She felt her breath catch in her throat making her control loose at the moment. Alex noticed the change in her, and was too his feet, pulling her in close to him. She held onto his shirt for lack of anything else stable to find that would keep her in place. "Its okay..everyone has their secrets." "But something as important as human testing, Alex? That was just-scary." She whispered and he felt his grip on her tighten. "Look Leah, the week before they...disappeared...your father told me to watch over you and keep you safe. That you were very important to him. I'm sure that his occupation had nothing to do with you being so important to him, that's what you're worried about right?" Leah nodded, feeling the first of the tears slip. "What if they're right? What if Evelyn knew something I didn't know about why I was taken in by the Emars-?" "You can play the what if game all you want Leah, but it doesn't do you any good...come on, lets ge you some rest. You look like your ready to pass out again." He took her by the hand and lead her from the room and to a guest bedroom. She didn't seem to keen on crawling into a bed so he basically had to help her along that process. She rolled over in the covers to look at Alex as he went to leave, quickly catching his hand. "Don't go...Stay for little bit...just in case the dream comes back." He wanted to smile and tell her yes but..he knew he had work to deal with problems going on with his business deals with Me. It was a tedious process since the arms had to escape the notice of others and keep a low profile in their use. After all the Foresythe Corp was the biggest foreign distributor of these weapons. They couldn't have the law meddling in their business ventures. "I wish I could Leah, but I have more work to do." He took her hand that was on his and kissed it lightly, making Leah quickly blush in surprise. The surprise was enough for him to slip away and leave her to sleep while he sat in his office finishing out the paper work and looking over blue prints. ---- Leah laid in the room, suddenly feeling very cold. She wanted someone beside her, some form of warmth in the dark. It wasn't necessarily a fear of the dark. More like a fear of being alone in it. It had developed after the Emars took her in, so much to the point her mother would have to stay with her till she fell asleep, only after her father told her good night. She shifted in the covers onto her side finding the feather than she had put in her pocket. She pulled it out and held it for a moment. The softness reminded her of being close to Theo, feeling the warm and soft enclosure of his wings, and him trying to comfort her. Gone for a while…why didn’t Leah like that idea? She gave a sigh, relishing in the memory as she drifted off to sleep.

Theo felt a twinge on his side like some one was almost tickling him, he felt his side and remembered the feathers he had lost- some one as playing with one. He smiled when he got the warm feeling again- like some one was holding the feather. He liked that- Feathers didn't loose sensory even after they came off- If they were removed and given to some one they stayed the way there were with half the root still in the wing- growing a new feather but the two feathers sharing feeling. Leon observed his face and how he looked comforted by something. "Whats up?" Theo snapped out of the moment," Nothing- I just remembered something I missed- thats all..." "I'm assuming you mean some one? Leah perhaps?" Theo's face went cold," You don't properly know me -please don't assume familiarity." Leon looked slightly offended, but he let it pass because he was right. Smiling politely he responded casually," I'm sorry to assume- I will try my best to refrain from it." Theo stared into the fire for a few minutes before laying down on the ground next to the Gryphon- settling in to sleep. Leon didn't require much sleep being half mecha. "I will take first watch- The wolf recommended we watch for enemies...they exist here..." Theo grunted in a reply but understood, his thoughts going back to Leah and the feeling he got from the feather.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Gerald pulled the car into the garage with a sigh. He knew we was going to have to talk Ryan out of his fit- if he wasn't calm yet- he hated seeing his brother in such a manor. When he walked into the house Ryan was waiting there for him in the hallway-leaning against the wall. "Welcome home." Gerald smiled at his welcoming invite, walking over and giving him a sincere kiss on the forehead as was usual. "Thank you brother...Are you better? She promised to keep the Alex and Theo apart...And she took a feather...so I think she understands a bit better now." "I hope so...she needs to understand the reality of things before this gets to its full complicity- she needs to understand what she is getting into with two badge holders who are fighting for her." "Two? Theo and who?" "Alex Forsyth...," Ryan pointed to the side table where a brown package was sitting with the name on it- he knew what it was, the size was too familiar from the earlier deliveries. "Very well...I think we should let Theo find out on his own...as well as Alex...Leah will be told when Theo and Leon return...We shoudl tell her the implications together."
