Anna hadn’t been expecting to be touched more then a hand shake as it showed by her surprised expression but she didn’t fright the creature. At the idea that she ‘smelled’ like anyone but herself was interesting but this Nerus... could that be Ale’s true name? If so she was meeting his father- oh boy.... wouldn’t he just be thrilled. She listened to the words between the two and frowned... she was rather glad she never pushed him for more then he wished to share- what they spoke of here sounded... painful. At his look and smooth warning she nodded instantly, knowing the creature would keep his word. “ Of course. I shall be on my other ship awaiting your arrival.” She Stated smoothly before grabbing maresol mid atm and pulling her quickly to the side of the ship to climb down. She wasn’t about to second guess or piss off Ale’s father/ he seemed oddly scary- even if it made her feel excited. She had the men push the ship further away- feeling like they needed some space. Once that was done she looked around and dawn niyol and he didn’t look happy with her. She ignored him and told Maresol to go relax a bit till the sea witch returned. As her ‘ second’ she had to be present after all- the girl just looked tired. She went with her however since she was tired- a good fight always left her good and tired- meaning good sleep later. “ how did it feel?” She asked a little out of the blue to the girl knowing she had killed the target.

Maresol didn't protest as she was pulled off the ship, especially when she could hear violent noises coming from behind her. It sounded torturous, but she wouldn't dare look back or feel sympathy for the creature. It caused enough pain and deserved to feel some itself. When they got on the ship, Maresol tried to keep herself together. After everything that happened and their involvement now with yet another round of witches, she hardly had time come off her adrenaline. When she finally did, she felt like she might fall over. It was clear that she was getting pale and looking sluggish, as Anna told her she could go rest. She walked to the quarters and took to sitting on the bed. She brushed her hair from her face with a shaky hand, letting her mind calm itself down. As Anna came in and even asked her a question, Maresol blinked in surprise at the woman. She wanted to know how Rodger's death made her feel. She would be honest with her. "I-It feels good...but odd. When I completed contract, I could feel like I was dying. Then it was gone, I lived and now...I'm here. That anger I've been holding, all that plotting to kill them. It's done and now I don't know what I have left...It was satisfying but it just reminded me my father is never coming back..." She said, being vulnerable and honest with Anna, even admitting that she almost wished Ale had taken his soul back to save her this confusion and empty feeling. She then looked at Anna, her brows knitting some. "And you? Did you get that bastard you were looking for?" She asked since Annaliese deserved that revenge on the man who wronged her as well. She just had more of a stomach for it than Maresol.

When Maresol got honest with her she nodded, understanding those feelings. “Well it’s a good thing you have my contract to compete now isn’t it.” She Stated smoothly to the girl who looked lost in this now. When she asked if she got the guy she nodded. “ I did. I slit his throat and watched him bleed out. It was satisfying honestly to see the last bastard go down. However- now you need to focus on mourning your father properly. Let his soul rest since you have been running around with him. Now that it is done- you need to understand you need a new purpose, you have one with me for a while till you are ready to find your own way girl. Your life is now your own.” She stated softly handing the girl a glass of wine figuring she would need one. Poor things was a mess. Though she had remembered being a mess herself...

It was a surprise that Anna was this supportive of someone she had few dealings with, then again she felt like Anna understood her more than anyone on the ship ever had. Ale certainly didn’t try and Anna was the only one to actually help her succeed in killing her targets. Honestly, she owed the woman more than she ever intended, especially when she first joined this crew. The offer of wine and her supportive words made Maresol smile some, the smile actually genuine despite the emotions welling in her. “I owe you Captain. If my purpose is here a while longer...I would appreciate that. Even if you do get into some rather crazy situations and meeting strange creatures. I was sure that Selene was going to kill us, Adriaticus is hardly trustworthy, and Nicole is so jealous of your attention. I suppose it keeps life interesting.” Maresol said before raising the glass to Anna then taking a sip. She paused however and gave a bite of her lip. “I wanted to say that I apologize for being a part of that wedge between you and Ale. I know that I didn’t make his decision for him, but my desire to end our contract probably didn’t help things.” She said as she had seen the anger in Anna over losing Fox and Ale of all people. The creatures were their own people, but it seemed Anna was attached to them. Hell, Maresol was currently a little confused at Ale’s actions of not killing her... “Though I did want to extend a word of caution about Adriaticus. Ale never mentioned family or even a desire to see them. He avoided entering the ocean for a reason...said it would make it easier for someone to find him. Perhaps keep this thing at arms length. It feels different than Alejandro and even Selene, not in a good way.” She said since that mystery and the unease she got from the creature. She knew Anna was smart but with only Niyol and Maresol as back up, she hardly thought they could stop the creature if it decided to get violent. ~~~ Selene awoke in her bed, shaking and screaming as a ghostly pain ripped through her body. She could still feel the creature’s hands on her, feel the ripping of her flesh, and the part of her soul being dragged from her host. It made her current body feel weak and cold, like something had been drained from her that she could never return. It was terrifying honestly, as she had never had a host killed in such a way. Her panic awoke her bed mate, the man springing up from deep sleep in a frenzy to harm whatever hurt her. When he found nothing, he looked back at the bed, panting in surprise as his adrenaline left him. “What is it, Sofia?” He asked her, his pretty face creased with worry. Selene wanted to hiss at the human and tell him to screw off, but she had a part to play that wouldn’t allow a violent response. She needed this idiot to keep her host safe and to give her the life of luxury and power she desired. “Another nightmare, my sweet. Please come back to bed.” She said sweetly, although her hand shook as she weakly tried to pull him into bed. Her ‘husband’ looked unsure and pulled her close as he got into bed. “These nightmares...they are awfully frightful for a young lady with seldom any worries or strife...” He said, kissing her forehead, making Selene glare at the contact. She hated men that treated her like a fragile flower, so unsure in their masculinity that they were worried over her. She was a powerful Elder of a coven and controlled more than this man could ever dream of taking from him. But alas, she was to play the wilting flower and simply allowed him to fall back asleep while she plotted. There was still the matter of killing Ale for her plans to work and now they made it personal.

At the idea that Niyol is jealous of her attention she smirked. She knew that- she took advantage of that when she needed her other ship watched over well and good like. She nodded to the girl as she continued speaking but when she apologized she stopped and looked at her. At the news that she ‘helped’ drive a wedge between her and Ale made her frown a little. She downed the entire glass of wine before looking over at the girl again. As he girl went on to explain a little and all her worry over this new Sea witch she kept her frown constant. “ I always kneeboarding Fox and Ale would leave me. Though I had rather wished I wasn’t shipless, brotherless, and being hunter by a coven.” She Stated a bit dryly. “ no you did not make their choices but it did influence them. I should honestly punish you but I will hold off till i can hear from Ale perhaps... ask him how he feels about this.” She Stated a little bit of teasing but it was honest. “As for the Sea witch, I am not dumb girl. I might do things as if I have a death wish but I know how to handle things- I am a captain after all.” She said getting herself another glass before downing it and went to sit on the bed but maresol. “You are welcome to sleep here as well- I won’t harm you. You look like you need some sleep.” She Stated since she was going to take a break while Sam and Niyol kept things order and they already knew to wake her when the sea witch cane around again...

When Anna mentioned punishing her, she frowned and finished her glass. She could try, but Maresol wasn’t feeling guilty for it, just for hurting Anna. Ale was running himself in circles over Anna and getting too attached to someone who didn’t give a hell. He even told Maresol that whatever it was between them was no strings attached. And yet she saw how frustrated the witch was becoming as he cared more and more for Anna. Her mention of waiting to ask Ale’s opinión made Maresol shake her head. “That’s fine but I’m sure he’d just yell and pout... but he left because of his own insecurities. He was attached to you so he left to avoid dealing with it.” She said since his angry little rant over Anna he had alerted Maresol that he cared. Anna might as well know that. She figured Anna would be combative about knowing how to handle a supernatural creature but She did sleep with two of them. And she did have one sea witch wrapped around her finger and a halfbreed siren at her feet. When offered a place to sleep, she nodded, relaxing some as she felt like staying and not leaving. Especially with this supernatural creature coming back. “Thank you. I feel exhausted.” She said as she closed her eyes, knowing that Anna hardly wanted her flapping her lips at her. ~~~ It was a couple hours before things seemed to calm. The storm that was consolidated to the cove swallowed the boat eventually, taking with it Selene’s empty host and what was left of the Grace. Adriaticus let the blood was from his form as he rested on the bottom of the ocean. He looked at the odd artifact he pulled from Selene’s grasp, this dagger that flowed with an enraged energy. It felt odd to even him, but he figured the object had a trapped soul in it that was very angry. He would perhaps hold onto it, maybe see what it was later. For now, he had to see about this captain and whether she was useful in finding his son. While he liked the girl, he didn’t like the idea that she may have been part of the reason his son was struggling. When he finally felt his son touch the water, the ripple of his power reached his senses from there side of the ocean. Nerus had been weak and something was missing from his son. Adriaticus had never forgiven himself for allowing him out of his sight, let alone that they lost him to the surface world forever. Now that he was so close to finding him, helping his son return some of his power, Adriaticus was in no mood to play nice with the humans if they were not useful. He pulled himself from the sea floor near the wreckage, swimming to the surface of the water. In a matter of moments, he used a larger wave to move him to the side of the ship. He stepped onto the deck, looking curiously at all the humans around him. Some looked terrified by the creature watching them with interest, while others kept their distance and tried to keep to their work. Seems some knew their captain had creatures aboard her ship before. He spotted the halfbreed and gave him a friendly wave and a smile, being pleasant with the creature that perhaps didn’t like him much. His partner would be pissed if he caused more trouble than was necessary.

When the girl spoke on Ale’s feelings on why he left she looked curious since she had assumed he figured out her odd attachment and left for that reason. If he felt like he wanted to stick around it wasn’t like she would kick him out of her bed- or her life. Prizes or not, deal or none she wishe dhim around for friendship if nothing at all- she liked his vindictiveness oddly and found his personality attractive- his hosts’ body helped. She didn’t speak however and let the girl get some sleep, she however stayed awake to think some more. It wasn’t overly long till San came in and told her her company had arrived. She primped up a little, changing out of the bloodied clothes at least, getting Maresol to do the same since they did have company. She went out onto the deck to see the sea witch and gave him a small smile in greetings. “ welcome to my ship. Well my other ship.” She Stated smoothly since she felt she needed to be a good host. Niyol was hovering around Anna, getting on her nevera honestly as he was jealous and worried about her attention with another pure breed around...

Maresol kept close to Anna as she greeted the sea witch in a manner that was proper, but not openly cautious. Maresol, however, looked uneasy and kept a good distance between her and the witch. She looked ready to bolt, as Adriaticus took notice of with a smirk in her direction. However, he looked away, his eyes wandering the ship at her mention of it. "Thank you for the welcome. I don't get many well wishes aboard them, for good reasons I'm sure. There is a certain thrill to sinking them, especially the larger one that had that filth on board. I would have let you stay for the fun, if I didn't find you interesting for a mortal." He pulled himself from his thoughts when he realized the pale look that came over Maresol's face. "Oh, but this ship is safe. As long as I like what you have to say as much as I like the view." He added with a charming smile and teasing tone towards Anna that would have made a heart stop for some. For Maresol, she was able to sense a coldness that made her uncomfortable. While this thing was mimicking feelings, she couldn't get a true read on him. It was like something deep inside her was able to sense the threat was real. "Now I know I roped you into conversation back onboard your old vessel, but I do come bearing a token of good will...for information on my son of course and perhaps for a partnership if you could be of help." From his side, he pulled the dagger Selene had, offering it to Anna with a sort of disgusted look at it. "I refuse to use it. It's dark magic and that's coming from me of all people. Maybe you can make use of it? Though do be careful. Whoever's soul she trapped in the weapon, they were very angry, wrathful even." Maresol's eyes narrowed at the dagger before leaning into Anna some to speak. "That's one of the objects Ale was after. I remember it from that book of his." Adriaticus raised a brow at that, looking mildly concerned. "Why would my son care for this? It's forbidden magic to use the souls of our kind as a sacrifice for power." He stated matter of factly, making Maresol give a shrug since she didn't know. Ale never told her why he needed them and she never asked since she hadn't cared.

Annaliese chuckled lightly at the words on why he wasn’t welcome on most ships. At the news he found her interesting she had a coy smirk but it wasn’t from an attracted way- more of an interesting way since she liked his creatures’ son it seemed... seems he got his charm form his father. At the flirt she had a grin like a satisfied cat, though she didn’t respond since he seemed to be mimicking emotion- it wasn’t on the intensity Alejandro had- the man had eyes that made her knees weak and a tongue so sharp she could cut herself with it. Anna glanced at the dagger that he presented and took it, feeling the power in it making her frown. Though a thought in his mind very quietly muttered to her that this could be her way back to ale’s attention. She liked that though, however she focused on the father figure here speaking of making deals to find his son. “I don’t know why he would want those objects but he had me hunting them. We had quite a few from the Selene bitch- but when my ship was taken she took those. I refused to surrender Your son, in doing so I sacrificed my brother.” She Stated honestly to this creature. “ Also thank you for the compliments, though, I have to say, I’m an odd mortal- seeing as I’m currently rather attached to your son.” She Stated before giving him a nod since it was the truth. “ well, I have no issues going to find Fox and Ale.” She Stated smoothly looking at the father. “I rather miss my favorite supernatural duo.” She Stated before glancing at niyol who looked jealous. “ we do have to stop at a port however- we need more amunitions and I need to speak with Palu.” She Stated not knowing or caring if the sea witch knew the other or not, she was just letting him know.

Maresol was actually surprised that Ale hadn’t told Ana about why he wanted the objects. So Ana just launched into helping him without knowing why? Surely Ale wasn’t that persuasive and besides. After all, his narcissism was a bit hard to stand at times and he was catty with most interactions. Then again, it seemed the apple didn’t fall far from the tree. But even if Ale’s personality fell in line with his father, there was something more genuine about Ale. Adriaticus’s face smoothed from its more teasing look to a more serious one as Ana told him that his son was after those objects. Let alone that she had helped him and lost them to Selene. Though news that she didn’t trade his son for her own brother made his brows raise in genuine surprise. He stayed quiet as she spoke further, observing the human as she went on to say she was attached to his son and that she wanted to find him and this Fox. After they stopped for ammunition’s and for her to chat with another creature. Palu wasn’t a human name after all. Following her spiel, Adriaticus looked Ana over a moment like he was considering something. He then sighed, nodding to himself. “Then you don’t know where they are? Why did they leave?” He asked before clarifying what he meant. “You seem to be invested in their well-being and I don’t understand my son leaving you if you were attached. You seem his type and I’d approve of you as a partner.” He said but Maresol cut in with a rather pointed comment. “Does it matter why? He never makes much sense.” Adriaticus looked at her for a moment with an unmoving expression before he shrugged. “I suppose not. I don’t suspect foul play if she gave up her brother and ship over him. I appreciate that action even if it must have been difficult.” He said, bowing his head some in apology for her loss. Losing family was difficult and one of the only true pains he had found in his centuries of life. He then straightened some as he continued. “Do what you must for your ship. Let me know if there is anything I can do to assist.” He said before looking at the ship some more. “Would you mind if I looked around? I’ve only ever been a boat if it sank or was in the process. I’m curious.” He said honestly, though Maresol shook her head at the idea of turning this thing loose on a boat.

Anna was about to answer but aMaresol jumped in but sounded a little rude, that would get her killed- no wonder Ale always had issues. She did however blush lightly at the idea that Ale’s father thought of her as a good match for his son- that was surprising honestly. At the thanks over her sacrifice she simply nodded since it had been very hard- it had almost broken her. She nodded to his words on offering his assistance further. “ of course you may have a look. Help yourself to some Spanish wine in the captains cabin if you like as well. You are welcome as my guest.” She Stated smoothly before glancing back at Maresol and Niyol who both looked unhappy. “ rouse the crew, get us to port.” She Stated a bit firmly letting them both know this was her ship and what she said went. Sam stayed out of it well enough, not wanting to get involved any further honestly. Anna went to her quarters to relax a bit more- taking the knife she had been given and put it in a box before putting it away. She didn’t want to touch it honestly- knowing now they were souls...

Maresol wasn’t surprised that Ana headed off after saying the thing was welcome to wander. She watched him carefully before she walked towards her station to start preparations for sailing. However, the witch didn’t leave and instead got comfortable near the mast as Maresol worked. She tried to ignore the thing, but failed when she looked up after barking an order at some distracted sailors. Adriaticus was staring at her, seemingly analyzing her movements. Finally, when the work was done, she went over to the thing, her hands on her hips defensively. “Can I help you?” She asked in a hostile way that hinted she wasn’t sincere. Instead of getting angry at her cattiness, Adriaticus just nodded. “Actually yes. Nerus had a contract with you...I would have thought he would have made one with your captain...why you?” The question was odd, but Maresol supposed someone would wonder why just like she did. “I had someone I wanted dead and I was convienient I guess. He was in prison when I met him. We both were. He was trapped in the underground cells however...” She said before she raised a brow at the witch. He looked calm, but his eyes didn’t leave her and held a slightly more intense focus to them than he had with Ana. “So your contract is completed then? And yet you still have a piece of his soul. I wonder why he didn’t take it back.” His curiousity was hardly for her well being, something that made Maresol unsettled. She didn’t feel comfortable here, even with all the crew around her to witness if the creature did anything. “I don’t know, ask him yourself.” She grumbled which made Adriaticus smirk some. “Such bite, my lady. One day that tongue will get you into trouble with those that are less...patient.” He said, giving her a wink before he headed below deck no doubt to skulk off into the shadows like most these creatures did. ~~~ Ale fiddled with the shirt he was wearing, fussing in any way he could to make it look better despite being servants clothes. He hated looking so plain in his new skin beside Fox, like a dusty moth next to a butterfly. But Fox of course was the focus of the duo, to keep Selene off of him as they entered the estate. Music echoed out into the large gardens that surrounded the inner courtyard, while people in various shades of finery spoke and laughed. Gambling took place at designated tables for high stakes while waiters provided fine wines and booze to keep the good times going. Ale watched the way the humans played and carried on unaware that they had supernatural creatures in their midst. They hadn’t a care in the world, even though this finery and money Selene gave them was all bought on their blood and sacrifices. He observed to crowd for the hostess or host, but instead found only crowds of unfamiliar faces and no one that seemed to dominate the room. “See anything off. Besides the overwhelming amount of pearls and awful booze?” He said to Fox, keeping just behind her to keep up the illusion that he was not her equal. Already the other host he used the night before had woken like from a nightmare, allowing Ale to return to his old body substantially weakened and tired. He hadn’t told Fox of Ana and Mersol’s success, since he didn’t want her looking down on him or questioning his actions in wanting to keep a part of him with Ana, even if it was trapped inside Maresol...

Fox has taken off with a dress of higher quality and no pearls, thankfully, but behind the jeweled fan her nose did wrinkle at the smell in this place. It stank, she cast her eyes back to alejandro in his new skin for the day and frowned, closing her fan looking mildly annoyed ish him, though it wasn’t at him- just the pearls. “Stop fidgeting and no, this is worse then when I’m stuck on land for a year in a sunless box, the smell of vile.” She Stated dryly but her tone was low to have only him hear. She turned and gave a man and a woman a bit close to her a sweet smile before moving on further into the place, wanting this over with and quickly- with the least possible contact with the vile smelly gems as possible.

Fox's comment made Ale shoot her an irritated look, a pout pulling at his lips. "At least you look decent." He muttered under his breath before he let his eyes wander to the party. He kept looking for signs of their target when suddenly he caught sight of a woman in a servants uniform that had bright sea green eyes. He didn't recognize the face, but he could tell by the way she watched the room and whispered to a man next to her, that she was a part of the coven. "Shit, she has protection here..." He said in a soft voice to Fox, allowing his eyes to wander to the rest of the room, knowing there were more probably mingling in the crowd. Why would Selene be on this high of an alert all of a sudden? She never carried protection with her to her other bodies. She said it made her too conspicuous. He didn't have time to consider it long before the party came to some halt as the music stopped and people turned towards the villa. At the top of the stairs down into the courtyard stood a beautiful woman and her equally handsome husband. The woman looked flawless, from her loosely curled dark hair, her natural glow to her features, and the deep red of her dress that brought out her sea green eyes. "Sofia looks radiant with Johnathan tonight." Ale found himself nodding along some, his eyes drawn to Selene with an old sense of longing that he felt a bit ashamed he had. "That's her. Obviously. The damn woman always needed to make an entrance." He said as they joined the party, speaking to a few there at the foot of the stairs before Johnathan spoke up. "Thank you friends and esteemed neighbors. I welcome you to the celebration of our wedding anniversary. I could not be happier to share the evening celebrating the only woman who has ever supported me through my endeavors and been a strong pillar in her community. My wife, Sofia." The crowd clapped and awed as Selene's host bowed, her look demur but something powerful was underneath it. Ale felt it and felt his skin crawl when he didn't immediately bow to it. Years under her made it hard not to submit to the woman. "My husband has such a way with words...I simply wish to say enjoy the life of luxury...We deserve it." She giggled before kissing Johnathan on the cheek. Ale looked away, his attention going to the ground as he felt his anger boiling over. He wanted to kill Selene, but he also wanted these resurfacing feelings to burn with her.

Fox listened and her eyes moved to the two sea witches there in the side of the hall, noting faces if she needed to kill them later- she knew who was a target- however that was taken when a pretty wife- the target no doubt and her husband joined them. She clapped and awed with the rest even cast soft smiles as the woman spoke however on the inside she wanted to be out of there. She did feel the emotions from Ale being so close she hid her frown behind her fan before looking to him, seemingly adjusting her skirts. “I can assume she has protection, should I eliminate them now? Or worry not?” She asked him quietly before she fluffed her skirts a bit, giving the man there by the stair case a look down her dress, she grinned at him and he smiled back- getting smacked by his wife.
