When they took their conversation and attention to her room, he was ready to get a drink and get the evening off. He looked around her room a bit better, trying his best to ignore the buzzing of the ring's energy nearby that brought out a more predatory side to his senses that craved power like a crow to sparkles. When she drank from the bottle and headed to her door to lock it, he sat back in his usual seat, figuring she would interact when she pleased since she seemed the commanding sort. "Hardly. This ship is so massive even the lower level rooms are not that hard to stand. Well besides the darkness of it all and no real view of the ocean." He said taking a healthy drink of the wine and gave it a look with some mild fascination. He remembered this taste well and it bought up a rather good memory surprisingly of his home. Those were sporadic things and hardly good for the moments when he was remaining his usual control and pride. "Guests at this late hour? Well your brother would worry enough for a late night visit. By your words I assume he doesn't approve of anyone else." He said, turning back to the wine since it was the first decent drink he had in a while. "Though that's hard to maintain a watch over a ship this large. Why did you choose it? It's beautiful...but that's quite a feat that you were able to commandeer it with such little resistance and maintain the way you do. The men respect you, not just fear you." He said since he had heard from Fox that she got the ship from a marriage to a man she killed for the ship. Honestly that kind of ruthless intent made him find her all the more appealing for conversation. He liked those that kept their bullshit in life to a minimum and dreamed big.

She watched him take the seat he did last time he was there and smirked. She went over to where he sat and decided to take a seat in his lap, legs over the side of the chair he choose. "What older brother would think that any man was good enough for his little darling sister?" She joked before taking another drink of her wine with a smile in his direction. "I'm sure you've heard the rumors. I killed people for it- well sort of- thought You know that red coat isn't my husband and sadly he wasn't a deserter- I forced him to." He stated before taking another drink, her face looking a little down when she said that. "I was convicted of a crime that I did not commit- when I was younger- about seven years ago. The man whom I had married was the man who ordered me beaten by a priest and paraded around as a whore in the town I was from. I was spat on and disgraced- I was ashamed of them- their lack of judgement...It was obvious I wasn't guilty but they didn't care." She stated a bit of venom in her tone and look as she took a long swing of the wine- her cheeks getting pink. "I found a crew willing to help me, mostly Samantha and Fox, a few others. We plotted for years but my brother finally got me invited to the royal court- it having been years since I had seen him, and I easily seduced the man who had me beaten- I never touched him however- thankfully. I convinced him I would marry him IF and only if he promoted my brother to a good rank. He agreed and we were getting engaged. I convinced him to have the wedding on the boat- his new boat for his own promotion. Her Majesties' Grace- the new Man Of War- a new elite ship in the British royal navy..." She said making her ship sound like a magnificent creature. She paused a moment before taking a breath and looking at Ale with a honest look for a change no second emotion there. "On the day we were married on the upper deck- I shot him and killed the priest. Till death do us part and I made sure it was immediate." She said with a smirk at the end since it was a good ending to her. "This ship was my dowery in a way. I earned it to be here- I even helped scrub the blood off the deck, My brother was a drunk mess for about a week until I told him I wanted him by me forever. He eventually caved to my wishes." she explained more on her brother to show he was a stiff one but he was loyal to his family. She however look over his face before asking him a simple question, having just filled his wine glass again with a soft smile. "Does that answer your question Ale? Does it make me a bad person to have done so?" She asked more in a joking manner since she didn't care on way or another if it made her a bad person, that much was clear.

Alejandro sat back when she sat in his lap, the hand that didn't hold his glass played with her hair absent mindedly. He gave a hum of agreement as she spoke of her brother, finishing his glass during the pause. Her smile as she talked of the rumor made him curious, especially since it seemed she was so proud of her ship that she wouldn't dare start to humor rumor. When she looked a bit down saying she made her brother desert, his expression became less intrigued and more serious as he watched her emotions on her face and tasted them off of her. Having her in his lap gave him direct contact with her, enough that he was able to feel echoes of what she was. There was an anger there, a deep hatred that he knew well in his own way...He wouldn't divulge that to her, but instead listened with intent since her emotion was stimulating and her words were a soothing the burn there in his mind. He kept his expression neutral as she told him her story, something he wasn't expecting. So there was more to the pretty captain than just a beautiful face, a desire for affection, and control over her ship. She was human...not the cold hearted, ruthless pirate. But being accused of something you weren't and disgraced for it would do that to someone. The story of her bloody revenge reminded him of the feeling he got on the deck, the suddenness of the deaths there and the taste of blood that lingered there on the main deck. In all honesty, he found himself sympathizing with this odd woman's plight, her story resonating something in him that he wouldn't ever allow himself to truly accept. He wasn't one for sentiment, yes. But he could feel her emotion and knew exactly what she meant. Instead of villanizing her for it as most would, he felt nothing but a pride in her actions. He would have done no different, well--maybe killed the slimy bastard sooner and turned the cannons on that piss poor town. But she handled it with calculating poise and power, something he almost admired in a way. He was pulled from his assessment, his mind a bit confused by the turn of events and the fact the alcohol was beginning to get to him and make his mind a bit more open it seemed. He even found her honest expression she showed him a damning factor in reigning back him own thoughts to cool calculation. She was actually making him feel, not just feed off what she was feeling. Her smirk and pride could be felt as she talked of the aftermath and her brother's care. She was lucky she had someone who unconditionally cared for her like that. Maybe the stiff soldier boy wasn't all that bad. He now at least understood why Fox followed her and why Samantha was there...He was thankful for the filling of his glass, especially when it gave him opportunity to hide the brief flash of something intense that flashed across his face. At her question, he looked to her up from his drink at her joking tone knowing his opinion of her wouldn't be even cared for even if he didn't agree with her. Too bad he did... "No. You took what you were owed." He set the glass he had aside on the desk that wasn't far off, instead allowing a deft hand to find her leg while the other held her there some. He looked her over a bit slowly, his mind trying to get itself together but with the wine in his system, the emotions still circling in his mind from her and his own confusing thoughts, and her joking tone that was fully enticing he had a hard time with it. He leaned some into the crook of her neck, his senses filled with a scent of her perfume allowing his nose to lightly brush skin before he gave her neck a breath of a kiss as his hand on her leg attempted to explore more. He looked up at her, eyes narrowed some as a saying came to mind that he had been told very long ago. "A mal nudo, mal cuño y el buen no vale nada... You give an evil for an evil. The good will give you nothing." He said in her ear lightly his Spanish accent heavy in his words since they were more on the sultry side to cover up the emotion that was in them that held more than he was ever willing to let anyone in on. He spared another kiss there, before he pulled away a breath to look at her face. "Damn the rest." He said, his expression showing his intent on her since he was tired of words and stories that made him feel something too close to what he buried within himself, something that wasn't as cleanly resolved and he didn't want it to be. His anger and vengeance kept him alive this long after all and after a while it started to become a part of who one was.

She watched him set his glass down, his hands finding a way to get her attention it seemed. His hand felt warm on her leg, her pants probably feeling slightly resistance to his touch. She moved to look at him wondering exactly what it was he wanted suddenly, finding his lips at her neck, making her breathe hike in anticipation. His words were lost to her however- until he translated them. "Agreed." She simply stated before she slipped her hat off and put it on his head with a smile, letting him know she was all his for the evening. She was oddly submissive he would find- for a proud domineering woman who was a cold hearted woman- she liked to be pushed around and treated rough by a man she knew wasn't human. ....................................................................... In the morning she woke up sprawled out on her bed, Alejandro still there- however the sun had just started rising. She glanced down and saw a bite mark on is shoulder- scratches on his chest and smirked more to herself- She may have been drunk but she enjoyed every moment of this. She gave a slight stretch, before falling back into her bed and cuddling into the sea witch's side, feeling warm there, chest pressed against his side as she decided his shoulder was a good pillow to go back to sleep on.

Ale felt the bed shift, though his grogginess was enough to keep him still as his mind played catch up with where he was and why. He was in Annalise's room...because of a deal...and he had stayed there because of the accounting of the deal. And gods had it been. Between the drunk high and the roughness of it all from the demand and take, the night's activities were tribal at best and left him with a delicious content that was hardly what he expected. He had expected a passing flight of touches and careless actions. But she had drawn something out of him he wasn't used to. Not that he would ever let her in on that little secret, especially by the way she had given him such a shit head grin when she knew she was getting her way. He let his mind drift away from the annoyance since that was hardly matched with the high he was under from satisfied sleep. He was even in the mood enough to pull her a bit closer when she rested her head on his shoulder, an arm draped lazily on her as he fell back asleep. He awoke a bit later, feeling his mind was becoming to active for sleep when he felt her breathing against him. He opened his eyes groggily, which became more alert with a few blinks as he shifted some. He found his arm had gone a bit numb from her resting there. He was a bit surprised that he stayed or that she hadn't kicked him out of her bed by now, but that wasn't something he would worry over then. he move a bit so he was propped up on his side by the arm she still held hostage, his eyes going over her face as he noticed some signs of waking from his movement. "You're awfully soft in the mornings. I would have never guessed..." He said not finishing the sentiment since he could feel the stinging on his chest from her nails and knew that there would be welts there from it. He looked down and gave a tisk at the marks since they would heal quickly if he spared enough magic on them. Lucky he wouldn't have to since after two days at port most would assume it was from a common whore rather than there proud captain who currently lay content beside him. He also noticed the bite mark on his shoulder and gave his head a shake, wondering just what the hell he had been thinking or what had gotten into him, well more like who had gotten under him.

She stirred when she felt the bed move. Turning her head a bit she stretched lightly, her body arching in the stretch feeling the slight pull of the fabric against her leg. Looking over she saw he was sitting up and having a smirk with his words. "Of course I'm soft- I am a woman." She said more matter of factually before touching his chest lightly- feeling the marks there a smirk spreading onto her lips. "I have to say, I've never had a night like that before. You were rough- but gentle..." She began speaking however her face grew a bit flushed and a shiver went down her spine thinking of last night, some of her skin getting flush. "You are definatly not a human." She said as she pulled him back down to her level and gave his lips a luring kiss before she moved away and sat on the side of the bed, stretching a bit more. She began pulling on her pants again, then a baggy shirt- probably a spare of her brothers, and a simple corset to keep things where they went before turning to look at Alejandro. "I'm assuming you want your payment? However I was wondering if there were more things I could get to convince you to stray to my bed?" She asked in a coy manner as she went to her desk and unlocked the drawer, pulling out the ring. She didn't give it to him yet since she wanted an answer form him. It had been a proper deal so she felt nothing negative form this but she would be damned if this was a one time thing...

Annalise stretched out, the sight not unpleasant as well as a bit distracting. However he kept his thoughts in check, especially when she smirked at his comment. Sure, she could be the sweet thing now, but she was something else with a little alcohol in her and a desire to keep someone around. Her comment about last night made him equally reminiscent, the memory sending a lustful gaze in her direction at the shiver and flush of her skin. If he was being honest with himself, he was on a similar page of this being a rather new experience for him. “Good. Everyone deserves a little self indulgence.” He said, his words light and hardly needing comment. Most of his other deals of a similar nature were all contracts and even then the sex was hardly to brag about or memorable. What would she say if she knew that she was one of the better partners he had in a life time, which was saying something. He didn't divulge that information to her just yet, since it seemed she wasn’t asking his opinion of it. Though the comment about not being human was a bit funny, enough that he smirked and eased up as she got to her feet. She dressed back in her clothes, covering up the beautiful show of skin which was healthier for his attention. He listened to her talk about payment, his attention being pulled to the desk, having trouble hiding his surprise. Not because of the payment, he was feeling an elation at receiving it honestly. But he was surprised that the entire night, even into his sleep he hadn’t even thought about it. Even if the energy was an annoying pull in the back of his mind, he had actually ignored it. That was a dangerous thing to consider, so much so he shoved the thought away from him and stifled the surprise for a look of longing towards the ring. However she didn’t give it to him to initial. Instead she asked about potential ways to keep him coming back to her like this. The prideful witch in him wanted to tell her no, that she could take her little deals and shove them. But the power hungry part of him and the side that secretly enjoyed her company wanted to tell her exactly what she could do to keep him around without him feeling weak for being there. He mulled it over a moment before he huffed and moved out of the bed. As he dressed, he made a point to keep her waiting for his answer, as if he was actually mulling over her offer and not actually battling his inner voice at why he shouldn’t give this information to her. He reasoned if it could give him his goal, then why not use all assets? “Perhaps there is. If you have the time for it…” He reached into his shirt, pulling out the small journal there and held it, much like she did for the ring. Just out of reach but tempting her curiousity. “That ring is only one of many things I need. It’s a treasure, 7 in all that contain a power I am seeking. It’s something of legend, bringing renown to those that find them…And usually where one is, more riches are there as well. But name and fortune are not my goals in this.” He said, his words almost a purr since he felt she could enjoy the idea of gaining treasure for herself for helping. He was selling it to her, something he didn’t do and hadn’t done beyond Maresol. Wasn’t she lucky? She didn’t need to know why he wanted them or why he was trusting her with this, but he was not going to just feed her this information. He had to see if she was actually willing first. “I will tell you more, discussing what my notes don’t for safety of information not spreading. I will say however that this is not an easy feat, dangerous even since those that know what they have are not going to give it up willingly. However, if you’re interested in this…then I need your word that this discussion does not leave this room. If you’re not interested or you can’t guarantee your silence then I suppose there is nothing more I can offer you.”

She was patient, her eyes looking over his body as he dressed himself, knowing he was letting her sit and simmer. He was cocky- and she liked that about him, even if it got on her nerves occasionally. At this eventual comment about time she rose a brow at him and looked at him waiting for him to continue. Pulling a journal from his shirt she looked it over seeing it was a simple leather bound book. As he began speaking about fame and fortune she frowned a little wondering if he was a simple seeker of fame however he stated it wasn't his goal. It made her skeptical. "I'm not one for treasure much beyond keeping my men happy and my ship afloat. Danger isn't a thing for a Man Of War. We are the largest ship out here with the largest fire power. I can fight and protect myself as you know. I like to keep the men battle ready. You say you want these items- this treasure-for personal reasons I can assume, not that I am judging you however if seeking these out will keep you in my reach then so be it." She stated simply not really having to be explained to about this. "I swear I won't speak a word of this. Its between you and I Alejandro. Such as our first agreement, No strings attached and always just between us." She said with a small incline of her head as she moved forward and took his free hand, putting the ring there in his hand, pressing her lips to his as if to seal the deal. If not just being selfish herself since she liked this type of interaction. She moved away with a self knowing smirk that she was in for some violent fun int he future- those were odds she liked.

Alejandro listened to her simple statement, his attention on her face as she spoke. He didn't betray his thoughts, the ones that were hissing dark little things about her ship and how the danger was enough to kill someone and certainly sink a ship if others after the same power knew what was happening. That was part of the reason his involvement was necessary to keep quiet, though she couldn't do much with his name without knowing what he was. Perhaps he would tell her if she proved useful. She had seen fit to share a bit about herself, so should't he return the favor? Perhaps, but his past wasn't something many were allowed to know since he hardly revisited it himself. It was not worth knowing if it served her no purpose after all in getting him his prize. He kept his expression collected, a smile on his lips that could be played off as careless if his eyes didn't show how serious this was to him. Personal reasons for this treasure were the only reason he was telling her any of this, that and perhaps he found her a beautiful benefit to this deal making. And it seemed like the deal being made was good, the agreement set in a way that pleased him with not just her words but her actions as well. The kiss was reminiscent of the night before, sealing their agreement before either could argue another point. This time however he had the added bonus of the rings energy meeting his own, mingling with the feeling of her kiss and the elation knowing he held a piece of his truest desire in his hands. When she pulled away with that self-satisfied smirk, he gave her a bit of a chuckle, raising the ring however to look at it with a fondness before he glanced at her with an almost similar look. "I believe you." He said before placing the ring away and flipping open the journal. "The items I seek are a range of ancient powers that were sealed to an artifact. Over the millennia and your pious clergy men that initially hid them away called them Sins. I suppose that was an easier way of referring to them than describing the power they gave. 7 of them in all. And you my dear had Envy in your grasp." He said as he flipped through a few pages, passing notes on lore and history of where they could be. "I've been tracking them through out the ages, little messages here and there left by those that took them and changed them to more desirable things to stay relevant. Now that most of the people that have been hiding them have died they've fallen into circulation, most people not even knowing what they have." He said before stopping his flipping and handed it to her. "Use it to navigate places it was last mentioned. Bring your trusted party into the fold, I don't care. Just do not let them know my true involvement, as I'm sure you can understand." He said being honest with her with exactly what he would allow in this before he gave her a small nod. "If I have your word and results, I suppose I will remain here at your service, Captain...till the agreement is through or you grow tired of it...it matters not." He said since no strings attached meant that she could forfeit this quest at any time and he would go seek it on his own. Should she prove her metal and that her big words were actually accurate, he would be willing to repay the favor.

She listened to him speak on these items he was seeking but not too closely since she didn't need the text book answer she just need a direction. When he went on about tracking them through out the ages she giggled before making a flirty comment since she felt it was needed here. "Oohhh. An older man- I like experience." She said with a wink before moving forward and taking the book he offered. She put the book in her desk drawer and locked in in where the ring had once been. "Grow tired of that?" She said in an unconvinced tone then gave a laugh, meaning she found the idea of her getting tired of him funny. "I shall endeavor to seek these items out. However I have a question...After this port- my brother and Sam will be back on board- meaning they will be in my space...Does this mean I have permission to sneak into your bed?" She asked with a smirk that was sliding into a more mischievous look. She figured it would be a no but it was worth asking. She did glancing out the window and notice it was bright out meaning Sam was no doubt back or heading back. The ship needed morning maintenance so she knew the crew was out and about. Making her wonder if Alejandro would be comfortable leaving the cabin quite yet. There was a soft knock on the door however, Fox asking if she were awake. With a sigh she went and opened the door admitting Fox but a bright smile. "Good morning my dear." She said moving an arm to touch her shoulder lightly however Fox was quickly evasive and moved out of her touch and went over by Ale. Anaaliese giggled at her but let her go with what she needed. "your so skittish Fox. Its not like I'm going to hurt you." She said getting a simple look from you. "I would like to keep my clothes on thank you Captain." She stated before looking to Alejandro. "Your little room mate is running around town looking for you. I didn't tell her you were still aboard." She stated simply since it wans't her place to speak.

When she called him old he balked, his brows raising some in surprise. He had never been called an 'older man' before, since his vanity often led him to choosing the young and beautiful hosts. Hence She could make anything sound so dirty honestly, not that it was a bad thing. Maybe it was a talent of hers. One that he could get used to. She gave him a complement, or their actions the night before a compliment that made him smirk, especially because it seemed she was willing to continue soon. He didn't actually mind that thought and was even tempted when she wove her words into a provocative question. He looked at her with an unconvinced stare, hiding the fact that the idea wasn't all that unattractive. He instead shook his head and gave a flippant smile with his answer. "The walls are thin and though the idea of making your crew listen is a bit kinkier than my tastes, I'll have to pass. Besides, as I've said before my roommate would be an unwilling third-wheel. She has a temper." He said before looking to the door when he sensed another person coming near. Fox entered after evading Annalise, actually coming to stand by him. He figured it was due to the past relation Annalise tried to pursue, having scared little Fox of her advances. It made Ale chuckle a little, before he sobered when he was told Maresol was looking for him. "Ah, it seems I'm needed ashore. Thank you, Fox. We must have a talk later. I miss our chats." He said before moving to the door where Annalise was. He took the door and leaned a little as if he were going to kiss her, but stopped short and gave her a cat like taunting smile. "I await to see what you can do with this information, Captain. I hope you won't disappoint." He pulled away without much else, leaving to be sure that he was far from the area when her gaggle of advisors got back. He went to find Maresol ashore, knowing that if she was seeking him out then she had found information out...

Annaliese picked up on the fact that he just called his room mate a 'she'. She didn't ask- instead she was going to ask Fox when he left, just to be sure she got a straight answer. Fox nodded to his statement since she didn't mind talking with him, she felt like he was a friend to her in a way, like the Captain. She stayed where shew as however since she figured the Captain would have something to ask- she always did. Her breath caught lightly, as he leaned in towards her, expecting soem form of contact however he was teasing her. She gave him a heated look meaning she wouldn't have minded some contact but when he left she gave a sigh, heading back over to her desk and taking a seat. "She?" She asked easily getting a not from Fox. "Yes, Ale's room mate is a female- passing as a boy. They are in my care in the rat lines. I can assure you its nothing like your relationship, if anything its slave and master." She stated to let her know she had nothing to be jealous about. She laughed but let it be letting her leave, having Samantha stumbled in a bit later looking so hung over.

Ale went port side, his shoes tapping against the cobble there as he searched for Maresol in the crowds. He could sense her nearby, enough so that he was finally able to find her sitting at a quartermasters booth. He was surprised to find her beaming and looking like she was humming with energy. It made him raise a brow, especially when she sprung up at the sight of him and ran over to him. "I found it!" She cheered to him, making him frown in confusion as he placed a hand on her shoulder to calm her. "What? Found what?" He articulated his words, but she didn't falter in her excitement. "The ship--well I know that it's the same one as my father's. The Victory set sail out of this port no more than a month ago!" His expression dimmed some though he knew that this meant a lot to her and he could feel the energy in her hinting at her hope. She wanted to kill these men, he could feel it in her that her excitement was for blood, like a shark in the water. He had to calm her, especially since he was sure she understood the reality that that information was not necessarily good. "Maresol, that means it could be anywhere..." He said but she shook her head, shoving his hand off. "We are close Ale..." She snapped, her tone getting rough before she looked to him and noticed something peeking out of his shirt. Was--were those scratches? Her eyes widened before she looked him over, her look suspicious. "You got your ring?" She asked as he looked down at his chest and saw the scratches there. He gave a huff and healed them quickly by focusing on them, the skin mending as his eyes glowed briefly. His legs trembled slightly at the action, hinting at the use of magic bothering him. Maresol reached out a hand, catching him before he hit the ground. He was quick to shove her off, straightening his shirt and looking annoyed by her so casually touching him without permission. "Yes...I got the ring. And I made a deal with the captain that is more efficient than our little venture hopefully." Morsel's eyes widened, her look turning near heart broken. "Wh-What?" She gasped, wondering just what he meant. Surely this didn't mean that he was giving up her contract and that she was now shark food? Was he going to revoke her life, his contract to help her take revenge on her father's murderers? At her panicked look, he gave her a roll of his eyes before ruffling her hair in an almost fond way. "I'm not going back on my word to help you...We have a contract fool...I am simply giving you much needed help." He said before she gave him a look that was almost heated. Seems he was getting a lot of those looks now. "Are you sure you aren't just excited for her to have another object to lure you to bed? You look like you had a fun time...If I knew better you liked her..." She said, being vindictive as he was with her. He gave her a glare that sent a shiver down her spine before he sneered out a few words to her quietly. "She is a business venture, nothing more. Do not tie me to her beyond that. You would be wise to learn that quickly." He moved away from her, making Maresol blink at his hostility that she hadn't seen before. Something was up with him, something she was sure he wouldn't ever tell her...

It was late the next day that Kole returned and he looked very pleased. He was carrying a rather large chest of gold, and other forms of currency such as gems. The goods he brought to sell were in high demand it seemed and he was lucky. He confined himself and Annaliese in the main cabin- Samantha watching the door as they counted everything and did the math- making it a good split with the crew. They went and ordered more supplies for future adventures that Annaliese had advised since it appeared shew as reading a new book. Kole never found that strange but her words were a little to him. "Its an interesting read a good rumor to chase perhaps." She ahd told him before getting back to the main grind of things. Later that evening they called everyone back on board- and had them line up, it was time to dish out payment- If they wanted it saved it would be- else it was theirs to spend another night in the port- but they were shipping out the next morning. "Greetings men! I hope you have enjoyed your stay here as much as I have personally. Now we can get to the second good part besides free booze and women....Pay." She said getting a cheer from the men since she was good on paying her men when it was time.

Maresol left comments of the captain out of their talks as they went back to the ship, her main concern staying on what exactly her part was to play in all this. If the captain had the book and they were going to rely on her to find these items, then that meant that they would be setting sail there soon? She felt a pang of annoyance in her gut that they weren't following up on her lead that was more concrete, but she knew better than to get in Ale's way over this. He was honest when he said he wouldn't tolerate her impeding him, since he got pretty nasty with anything to do with this treasure. She still didn't know why he wanted it this badly, but she figured that in due time she would understand. If the captain was serious about this deal of theirs and he was willing to remain her whore, something she never saw the proud witch doing, then he would have the treasure in no time. Ale knew that same fact and it showed by the way he was more intent and closed off in thought it seemed. The ring in his possession was giving him signals of energy and he knew that he would have to store it away to keep it from bothering him. But that was hardly what consumed his mind. No ,thoughts of finally getting the pieces together and remedying the things he should have done long ago kept him motivated. She didn't like seeing him out his usual teasing character, especially when she began to almost miss his conversation. That was a cold day in hell that seemed to be coming about... They made it back to the ship, finding that the captain was calling out that pay would be made. The cheers were almost deafening, but even Maresol joined in. She liked the idea of being paid well, especially now when it seemed she was going to have to stock up on more information to get through and actually gain more information and gossip through bribes to find the ship again. The pair accepted their funds before they were off to work on their tasks to secure supplies and check lines before they would be allowed free to go.
