Domonick was walking with his sister to the cafeteria however he was stopped a bit of the way there by a recruit who was wasting time- clearly up to something. Maria instantly caught on and played along however they eventually got to go into the dining hall to find it decorated with a banner and some other things as a welcome back party for him. He seemed genuinely surprised however Maria noticed his lack of a real smile since Victoria wasn't there- probably. She pushed conversations with others to keep him busy, noticing she was getting a few looks. When a guy came up to flirt with her, Dom quickly put it to a stop and made the men- which she found funny how many thought they had a chance-apologize. She pulled her brother to the side and snapped a picture with him, knowing Nate and Ava would want a copy of it. She quickly typed in their names and sent them, wondering what Nate was up too since she knew Ava would be sleeping until late this evening. Domonick noticed her texting some one and frowned. "Anyone interesting?" He asked getting a shake of her head," Same people as I always talk to- that one was for Ava. You know she likes to see what I wear. and I'm sure you looking nice is always a plus." she teased getting an exasperated sigh from him, and an eye roll. He saw her off, but knew he had a meeting to attend. Making his way there he excused himself for being late but he was briefed quickly and he looked a little lost on what the hell they had been suggesting. "Your trying to convince us that using tactics that the last Chancellor used to make the public behave? You do understand why we even over threw him? Do any of you remember the horrible things he did to us all?!" He said making it sound terrible- but for him it had been. "Sir Please, its only a suggestion- besides it was one of the things that worked quite well, I'm sure it will work... We have a method to brain wash that takes less time then traditional brain washing. Please let us try this method." A man countered in hopes to calm the general. Domonick looked a little pissed, his lips pursed but looked to Victoria and gave her a nod in greetings. "By your leave Chancellor Victoria." He said since it was her decision, not his to make. It was also known that he would bend to her will easily thought would threaten death or dismemberment to any one who suggested other wise.

Victoria straightened some when Dom entered, her eyes following him though her expression seemed disinterested. She wanted to go over and speak to him, but she knew that the situation called for an aloof block between them. It was necessary to keep tensions down and to protect him and herself. When he was quick to criticize the man for even suggesting the idea, Victoria raised a well shaped eyebrow at him. She had been around when her father used that technique to squash a mini coup started by one of his advisors that was conspiring against him. She remembered it effectively squashed their little attack quickly, enough so that it was enticing to her. She looked at the room when Domonick turned it to her, making her clear her throat before she answered. "I remember well why we over threw my father, because he was cruel and incompetent. However, not every decision to preserve his government was made by him. That was a strategy thought of by his cabinet, that I remember very well preventing the coup that would have destroyed him when we were but children." She said before looking to the advisor that suggested it. "Show me results. I want to see this new technique. If I do not approve, they will be executed in private. If it works, we may attempt your plan. I wish an end to this with the fewest lives shed...if we can get rebels to surrender then that will end this war sooner with less lives wasted." She said, reasoning it out loud with the others, earning some noises of approval. She gave Domonick a quick look, wanting to pull him aside after the meeting to speak to really pick his brain on his whole thing. That and she actually felt a draw to speak to him to see how medically speaking he was feeling. ~~~ Nate woke up to hearing his phone vibrate, tensing some with a groan. He lifted his head from where he had been face down in the couch cushion, knocked out. He lazily grabbed his phone and checked over the text, his eyes brightening some only when he saw it was an image of Dom and Maria. It made him smile, his heart aching some at the sight of them seeming happy together, alive and well. He hadn't seen Dominick since the changes...He looked good, different but still himself. He wanted to talk to him again, but he knew it would only get him and Dom in trouble with his chancellor...His phone suddenly lit up with a call from Nina. He answered it and found that it was a message to come in to the base, that the other officers were looking for him. He groaned and got up, deciding it was time to get dressed and ready for the day. "Looking good you two. Good to see you're having a great time." He sent back to Maria, wanting to say more but he was sure she was busy with her brother.

Domonick listened to Victoria speak knowing what she said went, even if he wasn't pleased with it. It sounded in human and it sounded simply like breaking them. They wouldn't be people to him after that- they would be dirt. They gave up and instead of fighting for the truth- they simple lost their humanity. To him it was human to fight- it was human to want to seek the truth, so it was only natural for him to be like that. He took his seat three chairs down from Victoria and kept his eyes off of her, thought it was hard for him. He did his best to focus on the meeting,he was always able to see her later. AS the meeting ended he was whisked off for another briefing- meaning his talk with her would have to wait. That last another hour- much to his annoyance. As it ended he decided he was too annoyed to speak with Victoria- or much of anyone honestly. Heading to a lower level of the building he went into the locker room and changed into some gym issue shorts and an under shirt of a solid grey since he couldn't wear actual shirts- not quite yet with out straining them all to hell. He decided to run a bit but ultimately decided to use the bench press and simply get all his aggression out. ---------------- Maria waved at her over protective brother on her way out the door, a small sway in her step, her phone gave a buzz however when shew as leaving making her wait to answer it. Just to be safe since she was very secretive, for many reasons. Once in the cab she flipped her phone and looked at the reply from Nate and smirked at it wanting to reply but got an email- encrypted of course saying she was needed for something at the base. She knew it was over passwords since her brother passed her a note book to take home- she knew what order he had them in, it felt like lying to her brother but he never asked her. Getting the cab to stop a block or so from the base she stepped into a small coffee shop there and bought a coffee and stayed there a short bit watching everything and every ones eyes. After a half hour she left out the back and through the back alleys and to the base. Upon entering she saw a few faces she knew, giving a light wave on her way to a more restricted area seeing Ava with her back end in the air as she did a somersault in a room that was designated for working out. She knocked on the frame and gave her a smile. "Hey- good too see your awake!" She said before she got a nod from her. "Of course. And god picture- I'll print it out for you later." She commented since she was going to add it tot eh wall of pictures she as often spent for Maria.

Victoria watched Domonick's expressions from the corner of her eye, knowing he was angry with her decision, but she wouldn't mind it. He would see reason and always forgave her. Not that she was particularly harmed by him being angry with her. When he had to carry the weight of a whole city on his shoulders, then he could make the decisions on what would be best. After all, she wasn't doing this to cause more harm. Though she despised that the rebels got in her way of progress, she didn't inherently hate them as people. They were those strong willed people with minds and opinions that just chose a losing side. She didn't want to see them all exterminated if she could win their favor. She would prefer to keep as many people alive and happy as she could. But you couldn't make everyone happy and remain their leader. To live as a ruler and be powerful, you had to make sacrifices, sometimes those that went against your own thoughts on the situation. She wanted peace, she wanted progress, and she wanted it with the least blood spilt on her city's grounds without giving up her agenda. She knew what was best for them...they would just have to come to see that, as Domonick did. She turned to her leaders there, some of them discussing recent efforts in stepping up security at their storage centers. Seems the military stores had been raided recently, though they didn't get away with much. Victoria openly blamed it on the deserters that were in the ranks of the rebels, since many of her forces were once grunts that knew the shipments and what areas were shipped the most munitions. That would be fixed in time though if their new plan worked... When the meeting was done, she rose to her feet and was wicked away by the public relations officer. She was a svelte woman, with tidy dark hair pulled back in a bun, her face soft and inviting. Victoria had liked her better than the old man that originally held the position till he got shot of course...She liked the woman's zeal and knowledge of the people. After all, her favorability was up even after that recent snafu with the tv station. Seems the little rebel's plan didn't work. As they walked, discussing matter for the next public appearance, Victoria wandered by the indoor training facility. It had an amazing walkway for observing the soldiers training, that and this place was comfortable for her. She remembered a time when she wasn't restricted to a gown and could go to train with the others. She had loved it, loved the thrill of being able to fight and be herself with the men, loved being able to spend time with Domonick. She was looking down at the gym floor when she saw Domonick there working out. She had to pretend like it didn't interest her to see him there, but in her mind she was watching the machine work with the flesh to support the weight, the way his face looked when he was concentrated on his task, the blatant aggression in his stance and the soldier in him showing through...She would be lying if she said it didn't turn her on to see him like that, enough so that it made her want to go down and bother him a little. But of course, she had to try not to tip off her advisor that she cared. "Your General is an aggressive lot isn't he? He doesn't have much of a positive image with the public. They find him intimidating." Victoria looked at the young woman there, her brow raising. "Would you really want him to be loved and treated as a friend rather than a threat? He's my general, my protector. And he does his job well." She said nonchalantly, though it bothered her that he was being questioned for his ability because others didn't like him being intimidating. They didn't have to...as long as she liked him... "I suppose not...but that isn't what I wanted to talk about. I wanted to speak on your public image...rather what we could do to improve your public image." Victoria straightened some, not liking where this was going but she would listen. "Research has been done in peace times that shows approval rises when the rulers are public with relations outside of their work..." "Your meaning?" Victoria snipped, not liking talking around it. "Meaning an engagement, marriage, some sort of joyous occasion. It humanizes a ruler and makes people joyous for them. As when you were born lady chancellor..." Victoria tensed at the idea, knowing she would have to eventually bit for now she didn't want it at all. She especially didn't want to have a child now, let alone a husband. Why did she even need that just to gain favor? The public relations officer saw the angry look in Victoria's eyes and gave a bow, simply offering her the envelope of potential matches that her father had once had for her. "Just give it some thought my lady. For now, what do you say about me shutting down the area for you to train? I'm sure you would not be opposed to a break?" Victoria looked at the woman a moment before her posture eased and she nodded. "Very good then. Enjoy my lady." She took her leave, leaving Victoria to look back over the cat walk. She saw Dom was still there and thought a moment if she should leave him to it. Maybe he needed that break...She shook her head and went down to the locker rooms, slipping on a recruit female outfit from the spares. It was just a simple pair of running shorts and a white t-shirt but it appeared a bit more revealing, mostly because Victoria had a bit more curve to her. She went to the only other room there, the one with the practice dummies, deciding to let Dom have his time alone. Besides, she wanted to get her own break in. She started wailing away at a nearby group of dummies, enjoying how good it felt to throw a punch at something for once in a long while. ~~~ Nate made it to the headquarters a bit later, finding Nina with Ava and Maria surprisingly. He looked a bit curious to see Maria there, but wouldn't comment since he didn't want to call attention to her. She wanted to remain pretty undercover here after all...He came up next to Nina, giving her a small smile in greeting since she looked to be doing better than she had the night before. She had told him about everything that went down with Victoria and he had been worried for her. She was right to be a bit worried, but Nina was strong. After all they had to go together to finish up a raid later that day..."Hey guys. Anyone know what the big news is for them to call us all in?" He asked, since he was still tired. He hadn't even really had time to stop for his coffee.

When Maria hear Nate's voice she couldn't help the small smile she had forming on her lips. She turned slightly, her body a bit more accentuated by her top but she never minded the attention. Extending her hand towards him, she offered him her coffee, before they drank relatively the same brew, that and he looked half awake. " here, you need this more then me." she teased him before turning when a tech called to a brief about the passwords. With a sigh she shrugged," gotta go air out Dom's laundry list of passwords. " she said before heading down the hall and into a small room. It took a while, but not overly long so she pulled herself from the idol chatter and went to another meeting. ________________________________________ Dominick gave a large breath out when he put the weighted bar back on the stand. He was covered insweat, not that he minded. Moving from the free sights and machines he moved towards the practice dummy room, hearing some ones beating the Snot out of something. Glancing in he saw it was Victoria. He smiled lightly and did his best to keep the slight blush from his cheeks as he entered the room. " You still don't keep your guard up on your left side." he commented knowing he had forever been telling her that.

Nate turned a bright shade of pink when Maria sent a smile in his direction, but regretted it when he heard Nina give a smirk. He couldn't help it. She looked good at the moment, not that she wasn't perfect always...He was surprised when she handed him her coffee, something that he hadn't expected. "Ah, thanks. Have fun M." He blurted out as she had to leave, offering her a bright smile as she walked off with the tech. When she left the room, he sighed his expression showing that he realized that he said something dumb. 'Have fun? She's going to a meeting--so much fun. Gosh...' He thought, running his hand through his hair as he tried to calm his awkward energy. Nina gave a giggle before elbowing him. "Well well, lady killer. I'd love to let you hang around but we've eventually gotta go get briefed for the raid tonight." She said before looking to Ava. "What are your plans?" She asked, making Nate give her a shrug as he went to go slip into the briefing meeting, knowing that Nina would follow soon. ~~~ Victoria was lost in thought, using the dummies as an outlet for it all. She even through in some of the faces of the people that bugged her, including these matches that thought she needed a husband to soften her. She was a woman of her own power and didn't need a man there to tell her what to do or own her. Her anger spiked and she launched a kick at a nearby dummy, twisting with some grace to land back on her feet afterwards. She panted, hoisting up her fists in a defensive position to go after it again when she heard someone speak. She tensed briefly, but dropped her guard with a smirk. She turned to look at Domonick, flicking her blonde pony tail over her shoulder as she sauntered over to him. "And you still get that pinchy look on your face when your irritated. I thought you were going to snap the weight bar in half." She teased before her eyes left his face. She let herself have just one quick look at him, enjoying the sheen of sweat on his skin and the way the work out outfit left only a bit to her imagination. "If you're not too tired old man, how about another lesson for old times sake? Let's see if we can't correct the problem? I feel like I'm out of practice." She said in a low enticing tone as she got close to him than was probably okay. However, they were the only ones in the facility, she made sure of that. She gave him a 'come get me' smile, letting a hand brush his newly metal one as she passed to head to the training mat. It was obvious she was in a better mood, not just by the smile on her face. But there was also a lightness to her step, a pep to it she hadn't had as of late. She always got a rush training after all. And this felt a little like the old days, when they were just close and their wasn't her position and the war to prevent them from being close.

When Victoria brought up his expression he smirked. She could read him well, not that he minded really. "No, that's considered destuction of government property and it would come out of my check." he said as if they where still just broke soldiers living pay check to pay check. At her little saunter over to the mat, as well as the look over and hand touch he knew she was in a better mood. He followed her over however he put on the grappling gloves since his current hands were metal, graphed flesh of not. Be wasn't about to attempt to hurt Vicky, that wasn't on his agenda. " We can try but we both know your a stubborn thing." he joked with her since it oddly felt nostalgic being in the training room with her. " I heard the rumor they want you to get a ball and chain... I would recommend some one weaker willed, more easily controlled that way, that and I could see you if we desired things as such..." he explained his words knowing she would be feisty about the rumor. We put his guard up and waited for the first hit, that was expected. He lashed or with a kick though not tho hard tho her thigh, making her leg shake a bit. " I'm sorry your the second person I've sparred with since the changes, I'm not very good at controlling them yet. He said as if they were misbehaving pets. ---------------------- Maria nodded add she was looked At finally by the man assigning out orders on the raid that evening. " And you- ummm wait. I'm not sure we will need you this time M... Sorry." the man said with a look like they only used her against her brother. She nodded since this was a usual conversation for her there at the rebel base. She glanced over at Ava who had been assigned to a retrieval team, knowing the girl would be fine. Ava gave her a wink. " Soooooo...how's loverboy?" she traded getting a elbow tho the ribs. " fine, now where is your report from your little night visitor?" she commented getting a disgusted look from Ava. " the pig had nothing e didn't already know, you got the new passwords so things are fine for now."

Nate and Nina took to listening to their assignments, hearing that Nina would be on the cover team while he would be a part of the team that helped move the supplies out. After all, he would know what he was looking for and usually they assigned some ex military personell to that group to provide support should things get nasty. He took the plans of the building and went to go get a look at them with the others since they would need to know what they were doing for that night. He had heard chatter lately that the chancellor was picking up security after the raids after all, so they would have to get some recon on that mission as well to clarify just how much more support the chancellor was using. If it got too dodgy they would call off the mission of course, but for now they still needed to build up their stores, especially in medical and the good arms. ~~~ Victoria laughed when he spoke about it coming out of his paycheck, something that wouldn't have even really made a dent in his salary at this point. "Damn Dom, you make it sound like I'm hardly paying you. Do you know how many men would kill for your salary?" She said, since that was a very real thing. Some even suggested that she paid him too much, but she shut them all up when she suggested that it was to keep her advisors allegiance and happy. Happy and content men didn't turn on their leaders...not that Domonick would do that to her. He would be much more vocal if he ever tried to kill her...She stretched a little as he put on his gloves, giving him a quick roll of her eyes at mentioning her being stubborn. "Please, you know you love it. I wouldn't be here now if I hadn't argued my father down into letting me train with you and the boys." She said, rolling her shoulders as she got into a ready stance. When he brought up a topic that struck a nerve, she tensed, a glare coming over her. She hardly wanted these talks to be circulating to Domonick of all people, or for people to be so concerned with who she allowed in her bed. She wondered what he thought of that idea...her being married off to someone else, having a family and a life with that person...a person she clearly didn't love or care about. And he talked about it like it was nothing, like she was actually considering it. She felt her anger spike, enough that she threw a punch that was easily deflected and she missed the kick he sent her way, catching it on her leg. Though she knew he could hit her harder, the hit had been a surprise. When he apologized, she was thinking up a strategy, her annoyance showing through a bit on her face. "Don't worry about it. I'm not some fragile flower." She said in a soft retort before she launched into another quick flurry of attacks at him. She wasn't trying to her him either, that was obvious, but she was pushing to see what she could find to give her the upper hand. She slid low, coming up behind him and landing a blow to his back that would force him forward a few steps. "And you would want that? Me sharing a bed with some spineless prick to please others and then sneaking off to find you when its convenient?" She said as her hands tightened a little. She felt something in her that actually hurt at the thought, not that she would let him see that. She wanted--well what she wanted out of this wasn't what she was allowed anyways right? She threw herself into another attack, her words slipping past her lips before she could really control them. "You know that I--" She dropped that when she came face to face with him again, her attention instead going to blocking another strike from him. "I wouldn't do that to you." she said finally after a moment's pause. When she was able to get another breather from the fight, she looked his tech inserts over for signs of strain. "Are they really that hard to control? I never did ask how they felt..." She asked since she probably made things awkward, but she didn't really have a good hold over her mouth when it came to her temper.

At her comment about not being a flower he smirked, bringing a hand up to block a hit. "They sure dress you as one." he commented and he kept his guard up, though she slipped low and knocked him off balance, forcing him to take two steps more then he wanted. Straightening up, it was hard to hide the glare on his face from her words. She should have known by now he was trying to be helpful, not back biting and sarcastic. When she herself looked happy by the prospect, it calmed him a little. The next few hits were expected since he could read her body language. Shoving her hands down after the third hit, he realised that he was overly close to Victoria, face to face in fact. He did well to control himself and kept his blush down, he was an adult and would act like one. When she changed the subject, he took a swift jab at her, though she evaded it. "I know." he said in a small tone though it sounded dry. He stepped back as she looked him over for strain, she would find none. " they feel heavier honestly, though when you fall, you can't feel it, no pain so it's a good trade." He summarized since he usually compared a lot of things to military life.

Victoria felt her anger die down some when he let the topic drop, knowing she had said somethings that would have bothered him. She knew better than to draw that conversation out, but he brought it up. She was just finishing it. She let it go in favor of their practice since this was probably going to be the last time in a while that she would have time to have fun with Dom. As a friend, she missed this. As something else, she didn't want this to go away. But she wanted the power from her father, so she had to take it and deal with the consequences, including this idea of marriage eventually. What didn't have it's sacrifices? When he forced her back a step from a jab, she gave him a taunting smirk, knowing that he was at least finally fighting seriously with her. "No pain...fascinating." She threw a kick at him, hoping to catching him off guard. "I told them to make them as light as possible. I guess that still needs some work. It's good to hear though that they work. Any thing off about em? I'll have to let the scientists know. They'll need you to talk with them soon so we can start helping the other soldiers that got injured in all the fighting." She said, before she had to evade to the side to avoid a strike at her. When she noticed him trying to go for her left side which she unconsciously left unblocked, she made a quick step to evade but her foot caught wrong on the mat, sending her forward into him. Running into him knocked the wind out of her, especially since the metal was hardly a soft landing. As she got a solid breath, she gave a frustrated little laugh as she steadied herself a bit more. "Damn it. I thought I had you there." She said though she couldn't help her smile at him. She realized the proximity and moved back, knowing it wasn't fair to him to push things.

Domonick felt the kick but only from the vibrations from the metal. " They are light, only about twenty pounds each. That's light for heavy auto mechanical limbs if you ask me." He said in a teasing manner since he was in a better mood with her around. "they just take getting used to is all." He said as he continued to hound her with attacks, watching for an opening in her left since it was her weakness. When she missed her step and lost her footing, he almost regretted not catching her since she slammed into the metal on his chest. He knew he was no longer soft like a human but it gave him strength to do what he needed to do, he could sacrifice a few comforts. At her nervous sounding laugh he knew it was frustration from her words. "You didn't, but I'll let you think you did. You do remember I was your best soldier?"he asked her a little pride showing but a little incredulously as well. "Anyhow I'm glad they are finally letting you blow off some steam, you seem to have been stressed lately." Hr commented as he let her step back and catch her breath, the training bought was over after all. He began taking off his gloves and used his shirt to wipe the sweat from his face. "It was a good fright though, you need to work on your left side defense.." He teased her again with a soft smile.

Victoria was happy he liked the enhancements, that they worked for him. She had told her medical staff that she would remove them from service if they failed to keep him alive and happy after all. She would never divulge that to anyone, since she had said it while in a state of sheer panic. She didn't take seeing him crushed and dying well at all, but she would always use it as her reason to help others the same way. After all, just look how strong and well off Domonick was after his change...She gave him a half frown at his comment about her not besting him and being her best, placing a hand on her hip. "Oh someone is getting cocky. Yes, you are my best, but just you wait soldier. I'll get the drop on you yet." She said while giving her ponytail a tighten. She would need a good shower now and to look semi-decent for what was left of her day. She still had a few missives to look over in her office and time to look into planning an event for the new appointees to her committee. Even with all that was going on, you still needed to plan events for the nobility to keep them happy...As she knelt to take care of her shoes, she did spare a look at him wiping the sweat away with his shirt, biting her lip to herself in remembering what he looked like before all the metal. Not that the metal made him less...it was just nice to think of him as he was as well. She gave a shrug and straightened her expression when he looked back her way, commenting on her stress of all things. "Just frustrated mostly. The rebels and the nobles both aren't making the transition easy. They just hate me because I don't agree with them. But that's why I have you and the others, to help fix the problems." She said since she had full faith in him at least. He knew how to get shit done and he was good at it...the others could be idiots but idiots that were specialized in each field. They could handle their responsibilities too...His teasing about her left made her grin at him, giving a shrug. "I guess I'll just have to make a point to take more time off. To work on it you know? And I had fun...Thanks Dom." She said since she had him to thank for making her break more enjoyable. "You probably have more work but I'm doing paperwork for the next few hours with some hard liquor if you wanted to--" Before she could finish her phone went off, making her expression drop into a small glare. She pulled the phone to her ear and found that it was an advisor panicking over some stupid document they needed. Something to do with a water treatment facility or something...She gave a sigh before saying she would be there in a moment and hanging up. "Well that was fun while it lasted. Gotta go read a few proposals before the public administrators lose their damn minds....See you later Dom." She said giving him a soft smile and a wave before she went to go back to her quarters to shower. Couldn't have some scandal getting leaked of people thinking she was showering with her troops right?

He nodded as she explained her frustration, even commenting that she was relying on him. He nodded, of course she could rely on him, that's what he was there for. At her thanks he smirked, shaking his head some since she knew he enjoyed her company even if they hadn't spoken on it.At the invite for a drink abs company he smiles, rubbing the back of his neck a bit, a tell of his since he was once bashful.Deciding to comment on both ideas, He was going to comment about making a time perhaps later that week, though it seemed duty came back to reality and he took a step back letting her answer her phone. At her goodbye, he noticed it was soft, he liked that about her- no one else ever saw it but him it seemed. "remember- no punching, that hurts their feelings." He commented as she made her way out the door. He watched her go before heading into the showers, finding another few soldiers showering from duty else where. He gave then a nod as two of the three saluted him in the nude. "At ease, its a shower. Breaks or not, its a place to relax." He said as he went and ditched his clothes not really caring if they were watching him. He turned on the water and relaxed under it. He was tired and the metal was water proof, thankfully. Washing his hair and scrubbing down hw felt a few metal pins shift. Making him frown, they had mentioned it would happen as he moved his muscles more often but he hadn't realized how unpleasant it would feel. He dried off and changed into his casual clothes that were still formal but decided to head back to his own office and look over more papers about upping security at the store houses. It was a food idea though he wasn't sure they had the man power for q at the moment. He made a note about wanting details and stats on it before he went home that evening then he would sign it bit only afterwards. Other papers were passed to him, hoping to petition Victoria on something's. He had the right of veto weather she even saw then or not, making her day less stressful he thought. He would look then over carefully, noting names and positions in the facility or community to do some research on what each would gain from these things. With in two hours easily he had the I formation in the troops required, even the back ground details though he wanted to look them over tonight.

As the night moved on, Nate and Nina were set to move out with a few of the recruits and a number of their ex military personnel. Using the old delivery van to get across the city quickly, gave Nate a chance to delegate the duties for that night's raid. They were after ammunition, food reserves, and any body armor crates they could get their hands on. They had enough weapons currently and needed to be stocking on the heavy stuff for the war with the chancellors men. After assigning 3 separate teams, he looked to Nina who was heading the team that would help move the cargo to a waiting van nearby. "Make sure you don't get caught." He said with a wink, getting a tongue in cheek look from her. "Yeah and try not to trip like last time." She snickered, remembering how he nearly went face first into a bunch of crates on their last raid because he tripped on his own feet. Nate gave a chuckle, knowing he could laugh at his own dumb mistakes. But tonight was important, especially because they weren't too sure what they were getting themselves into. They hadn't been able to secure the security change schedule just yet so they were mostly just crossing their fingers and hoping this one would be updated later. There was no way the chancellor had the man power to increase security on all of them right now after all. When they arrived, Nate told the other two teams to hold till he and the other scouts could secure the area. After cutting the chainlink on the back side of the base and slipping inside, they didn't make it too far before they had hide behind crates. A large truck was inbound on the property, though they hadn't head of any deliveries on the radio chatter...Nate raised a brow, trying to get a good look at the truck in the low light. It was unmarked and had two trucks following it filled with guard detail...Why would a shipment have that kind of guard detail? While he waited, chatter suddenly came over his ear comm thoguh it was a bit fuzzy and he couldn't really hear it well. "This is E Team leader, Nathaniel code 984. Can you repeat that message--" Before he could whisper out much more, a loud bang rang out and he heard shouting ahead of them. His head snapped up and he saw this scrawny, beaten man running from the truck's open back. Before Nathan could get a good look at the other contents, the door was slammed by mobilized guards who then took aim at the running man. They shot him down cold, leaving Nate to hiss out a curse under his breath in confusion...why would they have expendables in the back of a truck like that on this base? He snapped out of his thoughts when someone on his team asked about the call. He turned his attention back to his ear piece. "Sorry there was an interesting development. Go ahead with your message. Over." He said since he was sure whoever it was didn't get a pleasnat message suddely hearing his voice cut out and gun shots.

Domonick had come home a little late that evening but Maria was already home and looked to be taking a nap, though it was a trick. He came in and put his files down on the table as if they were simply things not top secret items that they were She stretched and opened her eyes looking surprised to see him. "Hey, I didn't wake you up?" He asked his little sister getting a smile from her as she shook her head. "No, I was gonna wake up eventually from my nap- I gotta cook dinner. How about you go shower and I'll make dinner?" She asked getting a smile from her brother. "Alright. Might be a bath though- I'm a little sore from working out today." He commented to her getting a dirty look. He knew the nagging was coming next but eh curbed it with a smile as he left her to yell at him about being aware of himself. With a sigh, she waited till she heard the water running before she shuffled through the papers, looking them over, looking for anything specific- finding something that scared her. Her troops were headed into a hornet's nest- Nate and Nina were. She pulled her phone out and called in- finding someone in dispatch, she said the code words and asked for an immediate transfer. They expressed that he was on a mission and was unavailable. She called the woman's bluff and told her to push it through with her own name since she was a general and be damned it would be done. With some static the woman tried to raise him on the com system. She heard muffled voices and gun shots on her linked line however she frowned when he spoke. "Call it off. Transfer to code Bravo- Delta- Fox trot location 7. All inner circle locations are active tonight- I repeat active." She said in a hushed serious tone to him however she heard footsteps behind her as her brother was heading into the room. "Like I said I can't go out tonight My brother just got home and I'm making dinner- sorry. I hope you still have a good time at the party. Text me later!" She said before cutting the line before her brother could comment. "And who was that?" he asked her a curious look to him as he wore his sweat pants and house slippers. "Ava and a few friends from class. We had a party I told them I wouldn't know my plans until you came home. But I missed you so I wanted to stay home." She said with a bright smile, heading into the kitchen to start looking in the fridge. "We just had lunch together goof." He joked taking a seat on the couch with a beer. "This is our first dinner since you got out of the hospital dork, now what do you want? Tomato soup and grilled cheese or take out chinese from maybe yesterday?" She asked him getting a laugh. "Soup and sandwiches it is." He said getting her to laugh, she knew he was silly just no one ever saw it but her and Nate from long ago. He was different now, well to everyone but her.
