When he helped her steady herself she nodded. "Yes, sorry, it's hard to see in the dark as a human." She giggled a little at how funny that sounded. At his continued joke went, she busted up giggling since she didnt consider him dangerous at all. When he went on to say she looked like she was enjoying herself she nodded, listening to him speak. "I'm looking forward to the winter room actually. I love snow. Its white like me, but every snowflake is different. Its beautiful." She stated softly hand still close to Luca as she considered taking it so she wouldnt trip again, but didnt. She did after a moment though wrap an arm around his and walked closer to him," now I'm excited to see this winter room, shall we go?" She asked him, her eyes looking soft with all the lights around, seeming to change the color of her eyes. °~~~°~~~°~~~° When the witch started asking questions Anna rose a brow at her, a smirk pulling at her lips, a rather large fang showing. "A tool. I didnt think I misspoke." She stated rather fully, making it seems as if the girl was dull minded. Jeremiah frowned at the girls direction. "A witch was hired to get a tool. It was blue in color, about this small." He said making a hand motion to show an object no larger then a pill bottle. "Ada hired the witch, or at least I think he did, we have no contact with the outside. This boy, small squishy- smelled like corpses, black hair. He was in thw house, waiting by the wings doors. An item wrapped in some fabric." He explained smoothly however he glanced over at the large bird. "He had one of our peons with him, a girl with brown hair...not sure what Ada had been up too but he knows the rulea about The House of White." He stated a bit angrily near the end, the golden rust color in his eyes seemed to flash with his mood. His wife patted his hand lighly." Ada knows I dislike anything other then white. He wouldn't displease his mother." Shw stated but glanced over at the witch. "You have white hair, I appreciate the cooperation for my likes from the police. It just may keep you alive yet, and of course your welcome to join the house of white, it is a privilage of course." She stated a fanged smile that was probably unnerving to the girl but Viatas frowned at that. "She didnt come to join us Elder. She came to investigate Ada's death, before the rite of funeral and the trial." He stated bluntly, he flinched however when Annabella's eyes suddenly were on him. "Now now Viatas. Behave, your never too old to be taught a lesson." She stated making Viatas bow deeply. " Sincere apologies. Lady Elder." He spoke softly and she nodded after a moment and seemed to dismiss the conversation.

Luca liked that she didn’t mind the snow since he personally enjoyed it as well. Her reasoning made him smile some. So she liked the idea of uniqueness and individuality even in all that white? Kind of like she was her own snow flake in the snow storm she lived in. When she looked her arm with his and asked to go to the next room, he gave her a happy nod. “Yeah let’s go!” He said, pulling her along with him to the room, almost ignoring the middle hallway where things looked more dried and dead. The next room had another door, but this one looked to be to keep heat and things out. Inside, was the same painting of the summer landscape but the moving mural showed snow falling from the sky and it was blanketed by snow. Even the floor was blanketed in a substance meant to mimic fluffy fresh fallen snow. Leafless tree sculptures with limbs covered in glass meant to mimic ice extended from the mural. Painted wintry foxes could be seen playing in the snow on the right while large deer moved to shuffle greenery from the snow. In the distance, on one of the cliffsides, Luca could make out wolves migrating into the distance. He felt a pang hit his chest such that he couldn’t really hide the awe at seeing something so familiar it almost felt like he was home. His home before the vampires and the Hunt pack took it from him. He felt a flurry hit his nose and he quickly went cross eyed trying to look at it. Fake snow made from chemicals fell from the ceiling powered by machines that made a wintry gust blow it everywhere. A laugh bubbled from his lips, steam rising from his lips at the freezing temperature of the room before he looked to Fey with a bright smile. “I think this one is my favorite. Looks like home.” He said before picking up a bit of the oddly not cold snow and rolled it into a cohesive ball. It felt so real that he was having a bit of trouble discerning the differences. A memory bubbled up of his mother wrapped in her animal furs amongst the snow banks, watching as Luca and the other children made snow forts to have little snowball fights while the pack made camp for the evening. He could almost hear her voice drifting in this breeze, her laughter as she called him closer to brush some of the frost from his hair, and her warmth as she rubbed hands to keep frostbite from coming from playing so long. He let the snowball drop before he picked up the camera and snapped a few shots of the wolves and the trees before offering the camera to Fey. He was putting his emotions back in place before he made the mistake of showing them to her again. ~~~ Lilura knew the woman didn’t get her question and it was hardly answered. They asked for a tool but didn’t know what it was? And if it came from a witch then it had to be something magical in nature. Now just what would Ada want with something like that? The news that he smelled like corpses made her look to Korro. That meant another necromancer was on the lose...Great. Korro gave a fluff of his feathers at Jeremiah when he looked at him, flapping up and bolstering to look powerful. Lilura shushed him with shooing motion that made him peck her hand in anger. She withdrew and Korro fluttered to her shoulder, looking pissed for a bird. She began writing a few things down, including mention that this witch was with a servant of their house. A girl with brown hair wouldn’t be hard to track down in a place so white washed as this. That is if she didn’t run off with the warlock who she wasn’t sure was still here. Lilura tensed mid writing when Annabella spoke and offered her a place there. It made Lilura let out a shaky breath at the mere idea of being trapped as a vampire. It was expressly forbidden for witches or warlocks to become vampires. Magic and the immortal didn’t bode well...She blinked when Viatas tried to stick up for her but it almost got him in serious trouble. She gave the boy a nod, a small thanks before she looked back to the Elder. ”I’ll have to pass. But thank you for offering me safety Lady Elder.” She said before she then looked to Jeremiah who seemed to be doing most of the talking. “So what was this tool? If I can ask. It may be important to finding out why Ada died...and frankly why this looks like a witch at least helped in killing him.” She asked before she then looked to this guard woman. She had to know the comings and goings of people in this house. “Do we have a name for the witch? Did he leave yet? And this girl he was with? Who is she? I need to find them for questioning.” She said since they might have been the last people to see Ada alive. Lastly, Lilura looked up at the snake. “And...I need the snake to take a look and see if I can connect to Ada, wherever he is.” She said, her stomach clenching at the mere idea of touching it.

As they came into the other room after passing through a very dull colored hallway, she took a small breath before the door. When it opened it was dim but the place was covered in snow- well fake snow. It fell from the ceiling and it seemed beautiful to her. Her eyes went wide as she saw the lifeless looking tree with very few leaves left, glass over them to mimic ice. She let her breath out and seemed in awe with it. When Luca laughed about the snow, she giggled as well, since it was funny- that and his laugh was contagious. She let Luca move away, and snap a few pictures, but she sensed something from him. Nothing like before but when he came back over she gave him a soft smile. "If this is what home is like, maybe you can take me to see it some day? I dont remember my home. " she explained softly. When he offered the camera she nodded before looking around and then after a second being excited by what she caught. Heading to the tree to the left, she got close again. She had found some glass covered berries, then soem pretty blue stems, glazed in ice, but she moved around the room a bit to find something else. There was a darker cornor by the cooler that was brought in, there not far from the wall was a part of a tree, obviously real at one point had been used to add to the natural feel of the exhibit. The leaves left a pretty yellow but cloated in the white permanent frost from the cooler. She looked at it softly before snapping a picture of it. He walked slowly back to Luca and gave him the camera. "What do you think?" She asked since she decided small things to focus on for each room since honestly she loves the little details in life, the big picture could be loud. pin.it/vmogwdrf4gpdvhpin.it/livdt32uhb7dnvpin.it/lxy24ak2ukmu44°~~~°~~~°~~~° When asked about the tool Jeremiah shrugged. "Dont know, I didnt order it." He stated sounding mildly irritated. Mina about jumped out of her skin when the witch addressed her. "He wasnt on the books. Only the houses higher ups can have that sort of push." She stated awkwardly since this was very bad for her. When the woman had more questions,Viatas spoke up. "The witch, I dont know- however the girl was May. She had been a prisoner of politics." He stated firmly sounding disgusted about it honestly since he did find it repulsive. "And quite frankly she never fit the bill to be part of the house of White, she was only here to prove a point. If the girl is gone, I would leave her be honestly. Our lady Elder has spoken on her wishes to keep the house white after all." As he spoke Annabella nodded in agreement. " let it live away from me. As for you girl-" she stated before glancing up at the balcony she grinned at the snake. Before she could speak however a loud bell chimed, sounding dim in the room but was clear as day. "I guess we have a guest for the evening. " she stated eyeing the witch again, before looking to Viatas. "Get her a room, and get Ada's pet for her, perhaps in a cage. Not all like serpents. Have her a guard and make it known she has my protection, any who cross that line will be forfeit." She stated sweetly begging a bow from Viatas. "Yes, Lady Elder." He stated before motioning to follow him. "Come I'll get you to your room and Mina- find Fey. I'm concerned as to why she isnt here already-" he started however Mina fidgeted a bit. "Fey was out on a personal day Lord Viatas. She said she had your permission?" She asked before he looked briefly suprised but then seemed to be thinking. "Oh, I forgot about the art exhibit she wished to see. All these issues have pushed things from my mind. My apologies." He said sounding tired but motioned them on and out of the elder's wing. He went to his own wing, and opened a door that had once been barred closed, since it belonged to his mother. Well Ada's wife Rose, before she passed. The pretty blues and subtle silver were beautiful there but it was a splash of color for the white. "This will be your room. I will have some one collect the snake, and bring it to you. I will have a few guards posted to keep everyone out at your request and pull this cord here to get anything you need. Food, tools, materials, what ever you need. The room phone works, use what you like. Bathroom is to the right through there." He stated before waiting to have her panic. He understood she didnt want or expect to stay but it was inevitable now. "And before you ask to leave...the house is on lock down till after the trial and the Rite of Funeral. You can go home tomorrow. I apologize for the inconvenience, but No one can leave and no one can enter. But please excuse me I have a guest to attend to." He states before leaving, Mina falling into line behind him looking nervous for a vampire. "You will be fine Mina. I belive you. Come let's go entertain Ms. Everleigh. She has documents wr should read up on." Room: pin.it/fjnoh4hwipzb45

Luca tried not to show how the request was a bit hard to take since he knew he couldn't go back. His home was still there, but the area was controlled by the vampires that took it from his pack. They were less than welcoming to anyone outside of their house and liked hunting wolves for sport. Besides, the last time he was there he couldn't really erase the image of seeing his pack fall while he helplessly tried to fight back against a large vampire shoving him in a cage with the other children. But this image on the walls didn't bring back those bad memories, but the good ones, the ones of a happier time with a pack that truly understood what their heritage meant. It was those memories of his mother and the pack that made him nod at her request, giving a small shrug a moment later. "Maybe one day. Who knows. And maybe we could find some stuff out about your home too...?" He said with a hint of his genuine optimism in his tone before he let her go and take her photos. The photos she took again were stunning and he looked them over with reverence before he put the camera back around his neck. "You really do have a talent for this Fey. The pictures are stunning. I could loan you my old camera and we could go take some practice shots at the nature preserve near the Hunt pack's land. Plenty of plants and animals for your close up shots. Maybe that could be the next adventure?" He offered before his eyes drifted to the security guard approaching them. She told them that the exhibits were closing because of the late hour. Luca blinked in surprise as he checked his phone and saw it was getting quite late. Already approaching daylight. "Oh sorry. I didn't mean to keep you out this late. Viatas has to be thinking I kidnapped you." He said offering to show her the way out. When they made it back to the car, he was sure she was in before he got into the driver's side. "Not bad for a first adventure huh? How do you like your first experience at photos? Think this could be a fun hobby to pick up?" He asked since he had intended to help her find a hobby. ((I figured you wanted to move forwards for Fey to discover what was going on at the house)) ~~~ Of course the vampire didn't know. Did anyone in this house keep tabs on the other? Or was Ada just allowed to do whatever the hell he wanted with no one opposing him? Even suspicious behavior? She watched Jeremiah a moment, wondering if he was playing the fool but was forced to look away when Mina answered. So no one knew this witch because Ada wanted him to be unkown. That meant Ada knew him...And without Ada's spirit she couldn't locate who the hell this witch was. All of this was just turning out great, almost as jumbled as that werewolf's case was. She pinched the bridge of her nose at the headache forming from being tired and the information not matching. And then, out came the news that this May girl was a political hostage. That gave her motive enough to want the vampire dead and to perhaps conspire with a witch. But instead, Viatas seemed keen on keeping her out of the questioning. "She's the only one alive now that saw this witch. I need to speak to her if I can." Lilura re-affirmed, not taking no for an answer but figured the vampires would do as they pleased. For all she knew the girl was gone and for a good reason. She looked awfully guilty in a house full of vampires and one powerful one dead....When told she would have to stay by the Elder, Lilura looked immediately obstinant to the idea. Before she could protest she was being guided away by Viatas who babbled about some Fey being out at an art exhibit. Lilura however was a bit too busy freaking out of the situation. There was no way in hell she was sleeping here. She would sooner jump out the window than let her guard down around vampires. Korro felt her silent freakout and gave a croaking caw. "I am here to protect mistress. Any vampire intending to harm will have to go through me." He said to her, though that hardly instilled confidence in Lilura who was still terrified. She balked at the pretty room that Viatas brought her to, even if her face clearly showed she didn't feel comfortable about this. The room was lovely and obviously feminine in nature. But she hadn't seen a female vampire with this much power around to deserve a pretty wing of the house to herself... But Viatas quickly dashed her hopes of leaving with this vampire customs shit. She huffed and sat on the bed, letting the boy leave to meet up with his other guest. "Fine...Looks like we will be busy all night researching Korro. I don't trust any of them. Specifically Jeremiah. Viatas could be involved but...a human can only do so much surrounded by these creatures..." She said to the bird who hopped from her shoulder to nest in the blankets. She knew she would have to wait on the snake and then figure out a way out of this room. She still had to look for signs of this witch and find them before they could hurt someone else. After all, black magic had been used in the murder of Noah Falk. How did she know that he wasn't involved in that murder as well? ~~~~ Erika observed the parlor she was allowed into, her white dress skirting the floor as she paced to a vase of white roses. It was only customary to wear white when a funeral was underway at the House of White. She had been summoned to leave with information from Othello who had wanted to go in her stead when he heard of Ada's murder. To say he was pleased with the turn of events was perhaps putting it mildly. Erika didn't mind since she knew Othello had delicate tastes. He wasn't like Lord Everleigh's generation that liked to torment others for their gain and valued power over life. He was a good man and understood that the Everleigh could rise to be so much more if the right people were put in power. But people like Ada had to go first...She held the files closely in her arms, her red eyes watching the door from beneath red lashes. She was worried what might come of bringing this information to light...but as the new head of Household, Viatas had the right to know it. It was the Everleigh's job to gather information, not care what was done with it. When Viatas entered, Erika gave a bow, her red waves slipping over a shoulder before she rose. "I apologize for my late arrival, future Lord White. There were quite a few files I had to dig through in my father's collection. He kept quite a few secrets for the former Lord Ada White. I apologize for his passing. My father sends his condolences and asks that you look to the Everleigh Clan if any information is needed or best forgotten..." She stated, knowing that Viatas must have understood it was customary that Everleigh's were allowed to hold secrets without showing favoritism or sides. It was their job. "Ah, Mina. It's been so long. You look pale dear. Perhaps we could grab a drink when this is all over, hm?" Erika said with a soft look that was meant to show concern but still held that edge of knowing that most Everleigh's had. She then looked to Viatas and motioned to the chairs as it was customary to let a Lord sit before an underling did. "Would you like to read the reports yourself or have me give a brief summary? I have read them all and know their contents intimately." She asked as she was unsure what the boy knew and didn't know about his father...

Shw watched his struggle with a thought before shrugging. Listening to his words sounding strained? At the mention of her own home she rose a brow, not in a sassy manner however. "There is nothing left of my home. My whole family was killed. " she stated simply since it was facts of the past, nothing would change that. After the pause, he brought up her talent and she smiled lightly at him. "I would love that. I enjoy taking pictures." She explained smoothly since she really did enjoy it." They were ushered out eventually and back into the car, she was careful to be sure her dress was straight when she sat. When Luca mentioned kidnapping she giggled. "I was allowed out. I had permission. It's not like the house burned down or something if I leave it." She giggled as they drove. It wasnt long before they approached the gate but a wall of the guard was stand before it. Stopping the car. She rose a brow and got out of the car, a stern look on her face. "What's the meaning of this?" She asked on a strong tone, monotone almost. A recruit nearby who knew who she was with out her armor on, scurried forward. Even as a human she was still second to Mina. " Rite of Funeral and trial proceedings miss. I'm sorry the house is on lock down till it passes." He stumbled over his words but Fey rose a brow. "Who died?" She asked almost sounding worried. "Lord Ada White." Stated another guard who looked put off to have even said it. Fey looked shocked a moment before looking, well a little relieved. 'V was okay...that was good. Things would be fine.' Shw thought before getting back into the car, no doubt that Luca hears them talking already. °~~~°~~~°~~~° Viatas came into the roo. And nodded to the woman there. He had seen her speaking to Ada very little. With her little greeting he nodded but didnt look interested in her condolences. "Yes, well, it's about time the bastard had what was coming to him. Come please, be at ease I am not Head of House quite yet. How fairs Alarik? Or his father Othello? Both well I hope." He added before getting handed the files to start reading them. Mina however jumped a bit when Erika spoke to her. "Sure, might be the last drink I ever get. That woman is going to blame me V... I dont want to die." She said sounding desperate almost as she stood there awkwardly. V looked up from the folder and frowned. "I wont let them kill you Mina. You do good work, it was just a bad morning and Fey was out." He stated before putting his nose back into the papers.

Luca tried to keep his thoughts to himself as she bluntly told him her home was gone and her family with it. He knew that pain all too well, but felt like it wasn't right to say so. He didn't feel like sharing and he knew that it wouldn't help her pain on the matter to know he suffered a loss of a family. He was glad for the topic change, especially as she made the joke about the house not burning down. He chuckled softly at that. "I don't know. Viatas may miss having you around as his big bad protector. When they arrived at the estate, it was obvious that Luca was definitely uncomfortable with the sight of the wall of guards. He looked to Fey, wondering if this was a sign that either she was in trouble or her house was. He rolled down the window as she got out to talk to them, making sure he had a hand on the door in case she needed help. He didn't trust this situation one bit, especially after hearing that this Ada guy died. Wasn't that the prick Viatas had talked about? Luca frowned as Fey was told she wasn't allowed back in and he quickly rolled up the window as she sat back in the car. "Damn...I thought you were kidding about the house burning down. Um, not in a bad way--sorry that was a crappy joke. Um--look I'm sorry this happened. Do you have a way to contact Viatas to be sure he's okay?" He asked since he was sure she worried about her charge. He wasn't sure what to do in this situation and it showed that the news had really surprised him. It wasn't every day a prominent vampire died. "And I guess we can find something else to do. It's kinda late--well early--and I guess we could grab breakfast or go crash somewhere for a bit. I could take you to Alarik's place if you'd rather be with Vampires. He has his own wing and stuff to keep guests in. Or I guess my pack wouldn't mind you hanging out if it was to keep you cared for till this lockdown lifts. I have my own space and no one will care since you're human. Or maybe a hotel--Um a movie--a park. I don't know." He rambled since he was a bit worried she would be emotional or worried and wanted to be sure she was okay. After all, this was her household that seemed to be in trouble. ~~~~ Erika took a seat across from Viatas when he less than formally began speaking with her. It showed in her poise that she would not allow any facade of familiarity slip into her conversation with him. She was not a head of household and she was beneath him. If Lord Everleigh ever found out she addressed a House of White member so casually she would have her tongue removed. She gave a small nod at his words about Ada. The man was a piece of work but one not out of the ordinary of his time. Though the questions about Alarik and Othello did catch her off guard. What would Viatas care for their well being? She batted her big red eyes at him before she gave a polite smile. "My brother, Othello, is well. He was rather pleased with how yesterday's meeting occurred. He sees bright things for your future." She said before she gave a content sigh. "And Alarik is well. He is due to be initiated into the Everleigh Clan soon. After the Solstice this weekend. The whole house is excited, especially since this will give my father, Lord Everleigh, his needed security to retire peacefully." Her eyes flicked to Mina when she started stating that she was set to die. That would make sense that she was a suspect, especially since her file was among the ones Erika pulled. "It would suffice to say evidence will be presented against her. My father had you tailed and our informant caught a few...indiscretions that Lord Ada wished documented. They are all there in this file, however, he had a copy sent to him as well. I am not sure who he shared this information with or what was done with it." She said since Mina's file was on top and showed images of her at night clubs with humans and leaving with them, including Eli, even though his face was a bit blurry because of the distance. She then turned her attention to the other files there. They were full of reports of sabotage of lower houses under different Clan banners, killing any chance they had at rising in ranks. Mostly it had to do with bribes and strikes against them, planting crimes on them where none existed or barring them from events. There were also lists upon lists blackmail Ada held on all the houses, including a particularly suspicious one on Lady Griffin. It seemed Lady Griffin's tune changed quickly towards Ada after Ada's wife, one of her advisors in the Griffin Clan, had perished tragically in a brutal attack by packs with wolf supremacy in mind after a deal was not upheld by the House of White. Her slaughter had odd information trails, however, including those that led to Lady Griffin herself. The wolves that were arrested were paid for their silence--as shown by odd transactions going to them from The House of White to Lady Griffin and then funneled to their lawyers. Seems the wolves died in prison, in some sort of gang-related hit shortly after the money arrived... Odd. ~~~ Lilura paced, looking at the large snake in the cage with worry. She didn't want to touch it and she didn't want to be near it. But to get a connection with Ada, she needed to try. "I'm not touching that thing." Korro hissed, his crow form shifting to that of the winged man with the bird mask that loomed over Lilura's back protectively. She gave him a small snide look. "You don't have to! I do..." She huffed as she quickly began preparing the spell materials. She had already called her chief to inform him of the situation. He acknowledged that there could be nothing done and offered to compensate her for working over time. That was well needed since she was uncomfortable here. She gave a gruff sigh before kneeling by the snake in the cage and looking into it's eyes. "Okay...um good snake. Don't worry. It's okay. Nice snake..." She cooed as she moved her hand closer, making Korro give a scoff. "It's a snake not a dog." His comment made Lilura grumble a few curses under her breath before her hand lightly grazed the snake. She felt the energy from her spell leave her as her words droned on in the back of her mind. She felt a connection touch, but it was faint at best. She was in that misty place, wandering in the fog with nothing to grab onto. Soon an image popped up of a pretty white man holding a snake around his neck as he scolded others and feeding it things to placate it. He looked cruel just by the image but Lilura knew her own ideas of this man from Viatas's words had tainted her images of this Ada. So the snake was important...but where was Ada? "Ada?" She called out in the fog, her voice echoeing out for anyone to answer. "Ada White?" She called again, but no answer. She gave a puff of a sigh, deciding to try formalities since this vampire liked power. "Lord Ada White? Are you here?" She called out into the purgatory space, hoping to get a match. This wasn't the best way to do things, but maybe--just maybe it would stick.

She sat a momemt. Listening to Luca try to fix anything he could help with. She gave him a small smile. "I will call him, but if the rite of funeral and a trail is going on he is busy. I'll text him perhaps." She stated before getting her phone out and messaging Viatas smoothly asking if he was okay, and that she was denied admittance to the house. She frowned however when the turn text said to leave and wait it out. He was fine, busy though. She nodded to herself before looking back at Luca after all the options he gave. "Ummm, doesn't matter to me. If your tired we can go rest, or hungry go eat. V is okay, but busy. Ada was would former House Lord, V's father. If they are having a trial and a rite of funeral, things will be settled by tonight." She said softly since it was information he probably needed here. She did think on her words after a moment however and looked to Luca with a soft look. "I appreciate the concern, but I'm okay. If anything having been out of the house when it occurred keeps me safe." She explained to him again since she had a gut feeling V did it on purpose... °~~~°~~~°~~~° When Erika spoke bluntly about how Mina would be spoken out against he frowned a little, having glanced this. He knew Mina fancied humans, it was closed house knowledge- shameful but acceptable to all but Ada. "Yes, I already know she likes humans. Eternity is boring when your alone." He stated since it would have been honestly. He dearly cherished his time with June. Viatas was glancing over the other files and frowning heavily. "That man disgusts me. Black mail? Murder? He cant stoop any lower I assume...all to stay on top." He shook his head looking very disappointed at the files. He did glance through the file that had Rose's information on and he looked a little pained. Rose had been a soft woman, much kinder then Ada. He honestly didnt know how she stomached him. °~~~°~~~°~~~° The snake had been delivered as promised around midmorning, it was in a large crate, but added mesh had been added to keep the snake in better. The snake didnt seem to mind the touch, and sat and rested in its box, tongue flickering as it sat. It had already been fed tonight so it was digesting. °~~~°~~~°~~~° He looked briefly pissed off when he was summoned. A witch, at least one with white hair, summon him back to this...loathing place. Golden eyes glaring at the woman, a terse look on his face he glared down at her. "What in hell to you want you twit?" He asked. His tone clipped and his temper seemingly short. He knew he had been bested and his damned mother had been used to help that, sneaky little shits...

Luca wasn't sure how Fey could stay so calm in all this. Sure, the Ada guy sounded rotten but that didn't mean murders happening in your house were normal occurances. Or at least not for wolves. He couldn't say the same for vampires now. He gave her a small nod when she said that they practically had the day together, to do whatever he pleased. Well, that narrowed down the choices then. While he did feel a bit tired, he felt like dragging her to Alarik's would be awkward. Alarik would be thrilled to entertain, but he knew his friend lived in a situation where the vampires liked their privacy. Outsiders, specifically a wolf, might look funny. But they did have spare homes like the one he rented to Eli? With his own home, he felt fine with having her around but also kind of felt like it might be a step too forward. After all, she would get bombarded by the pack dynamics pretty quickly and if his father caught on. He shook that idea off quickly. So that left food or a hotel. Would the hotel send the wrong signal though? He could go to work but that was boring for her. Maybe just food then and--Luca paused when his phone began buzzing and he looked down to see it was his brother calling. He immediately hung it up and tossed his phone in the back seat. "So does breakfast sound good then? I'm always down for food. After if you're tired we can hit up Alarik for a spare place he has? Just till you can get home?" He asked if that was okay with her since that sounded like the easiest plan. ~~~ Erika listened to Viatas speak and her eyes flicked from him to Mina. She was lucky he was protecting her. Ada would have let her die for this...So maybe this boy was different. The comments about Ada stooping so low made her head bob in acknowledgement. "He was your leader...Power in the older vampire's was often used to cover up atrocious tasks in the pursuit of power. Ada was just a product of that power. No different than half of the vampires still in power or the ones that preside under all of our roofs if given the right opportunity...." She admitted to him, knowing it wasn't a shock, but he had to understand that vampire society was built on this sort of thing. The Everleigh family would have never survived if it wasn't.... "Now, I've given you information that we had and could divulge freely without breaking other contracts. Am I to assume your intentions are to use the information at trial?" She asked before she gave Mina a once over look. "She didn't plan this or she's a damn good liar. If she were that we would have recruited her by now. We all have our faults but I don't believe Mina's is murder. And you're right, future Lord White. She shouldn't be punished for finding some solace in eternity. But we have no known information on Ada's murderer and no secrets or services were given to us that would lead to them. I apologize I couldn't be more help in that area." She said since it was a bad thing for a spy ring to be caught unawares about murder and possible descent in the ranks of the prominent house they answered to. ~~~ Lilura's eyes widened some as the vampire appeared, even having the gall to call her a twit. "It worked..." She whispered, but the shock on her face showed her confusion. Just how the hell did this snake have a connection to Ada that his body didn't? And why would someone syphon only part of his soul and shove the rest in a snake? Korro's wings fluttered behind her and she heard him land protectively behind her. It didn't make her feel completely safe infront of the irate vampire with an attitude problem. No wonder people thought he was an ass. But it wasn't her job to judge his personality, just figure out how he died and who did it. "I want to get to the bottom of your murder Ada. You were attacked then fed from by the Elder. I have three questions to ask and then you are free to go. Sound fair?" She said since he couldn't leave until those questions were answered. The spell bound him there even if his answers were subpar. She just hoped she could press him to answer. "First question, What do you remember before you died?" She asked since that seemed a decent way to get the story of how he died out of him.

Fey watched him think, before glancing at his vibrating phone. Something he didnt like by his reaction of throwing it. She rose a brow,"Shouldn't you have answered that?" She asked glancing back at his phone. Wondering if he was avoiding trouble, had she gotten him in trouble? At the suggestion of food she nodded. "Sure! We can go to the breakfast place down the way here. It's really good- breakfasts usually have a lot of meats. Super tasty." She said sounding enthusiastic to tuck into more food. She knew he loled meats, beign a werewolf and all, so she was accommodating. °~~~°~~~°~~~° Viatas nodded to Erika's statement about vampire society. "Indeed. I wish we could be so much more evolved however...such a waste of life." He said softly. When she went on her opinion on Mina he nodded, a smirk playing on his lips. "I will say that all information pertaining to Mina's predeliction and the worka with Lady Grigfiths's family, those things we leave out. Everything else may be used. For this alteration of the proverbial knowledge I will give you something of greater value- after the trial." He stated before taking the file with the pictures that Mina had been posted in and putting them to the side. He was hinting that he perhaps knew more about the murder then he let on, but wouldnt say so in front of Mina. °~~~°~~~°~~~° Ada watched the woman speak, feeling irritated that she was bossing him around. 'He was the Lord of The House of White! How dare she! ' he thought to himself as she spoke of his murder. When asked what he remembered he gave her a deepened frown. "You presume to boss me around flesh bag? Disrespectful and I'll thought. You do know who I am yes?" He stated but after a moment looked to be thinking, a hand going to his bare chin to rub. "My mother, Lady Elder Annabella White summoned me. We often have talks every few decades, it was about time for one." He stated smoothly before glancing at the demon behind her. He could see more since the snake could, not that he would mention that. "I went to her usual favorite room when that repulsive manipulatalive carcass she calls a husband was there. He asked me to wait, as if we had a choice. Mother is on her own schedule, we all wait for her." He stated again smoothly as he thought calmly. He was trying to remember things. "The guards- I posted four outside the door, I had asked Mina, to wait for me in my office. I had a lecture to prepare since picture evidence of her predilections had surfaced- disgracing our house. Anyhow my mother snacked on the guards no doubt, she then came into the room talking about some deal..." he stated but paused seeming to really be thinking, however the longer he though the deeper the scowl that crossed his face. "That little kneiving shit." He stated flatly his tone sounding hostile and irate.

Luca hadn't noticed her reaction to throwing his phone since he was focused on backing out of the driveway. Besides, he wasn't in the mood to have Lupin getting huffy with him over something he perceived Luca should be doing. He loved his brother, but he was a bit of nag like his mother. That and he was completely, if not totally brainwashed by the city pack's rules. Luca wanted nothing to do with it and felt himself justified in not having to put up with it. "Ah it's just Lupin." He said nonchalantly but then remembered she didn't know who that was, "My brother can be a bit lecture-y. I'd rather you not have to sit through that. Besides, I'm out here spending time with you. It would be rude to be on my phone." He said before he got an expression of childish glee at the mention of a good breakfast place. She had him at breakfast honestly, but the mention of meat being really good made him all the more ready to check this out. "Sounds killer! Let's go!" He said with enthusiasm, following her directions to the place. When they arrived Luca decided to leave his phone in the car since he could still hear it buzzing from texts and missed calls. He opened the door for her like he should before they were told to sit where they like. It looked like a little mom and pop place, but Luca didn't mind. "It smells absolutely amazing in here. Ah I love breakfast!" He said, the wolf side of him feeling content at the smell of food. He knew this hunger was a sign he needed to take a breather to transform, perhaps where he wouldn't be bothered. It was a common misconception that wolves didn't control their transformations. Werewolves could change whenever they pleased, even if changing back and forth was taxing on the body. Not to mention the city packs had rules that changing in the daylight was expressly forbidden unless you were truly in danger. With exceptions for children of course. As children, their changes are more random and controlled by emotional highs and lows till they got the hang of it. That wasn't to say adults couldn't slip up when in emotional situations, but they tended to exercise more control. There were days when their wolfish features did slip such as the full moon, harvest moon, and blood moon. Luca heard from his mother and their shaman that it had something to do with their creator being a part of the moon themselves, that the originals in Rome were gifted their power from Diana, the huntress of the moon. He wasn't sure he believed that mess, but he just knew it was best to avoid people that weren't wolves on those days... "So what do you like here? They serve a lot here. I can smell blue berry waffles--ew wheat waffles?--And turkey bacon! And...fruit--melon?" He said, getting a look from the lady behind them who was enjoying her breakfast and looked slightly freaked out Luca could smell her food. Luca didn't notice and simply gave Fey a grin. ~~~ Erika's eyes flashed with a curious light when he said he would put aside Mina's information and Lady Griffin's ties. She wasn't sure where Viatas was going with wanting this information hidden, but she would agree to it as he was next in line for power. He got to decide what information came and went from The House of White as long as it wasn't a danger to another Clan. However, to alter this information meant Viatas was forming an agreement with an Everleigh member, a verbal agreement that she would have to uphold or forfeit her life over it. Nothing said would leave the two of them, especially if he was serious about sharing information for information. Erika tilted her head, a careful smirk pulling at her lips at the young White's offer. Oh he was a cute little thing wasn't he? Perhaps a bit too smart for his own good... "It's a deal, future Lord White. These records never existed and they are yours to do with as you wish. I look forward to hearing your information..." She said, smoothing out her dress to be sure she looked in place and to take the edge off her next words. "As an aside, any record of our conversations I keep will be sealed until your death and any request for it will be met with complete denial of it's existence. Only you may verbally request it be seen and only I can retrieve it for you. Absolute discretion--if that makes your informational exchange more...generous?" She added, wanting to be sure he understood what working with her family meant and what they did to keep their clients and business partners happy. ~~~ Lilura gave Ada an unimpressed look when he called her fleshbag. Honestly, she had been called worse and yes, she did know who he was. He was former Lord Ada White. Dead. She knew he would answer and instead gave him time to speak. It seemed he liked to control conversations like he did people...great....She felt Korro tense when Ada looked at him, but more in the sense of getting a kick out of being seen. He smirked at Ada, waiting to claim this soul if his mistress allowed it. Lilura pieced things together while he talked. So he was in this room because it was an expected talk with his mother, this Elder. Instead he found Jeremiah, who told him to wait. Meanwhile Mina was waiting for him in her office. Mina...the jumpy one. She hadn't mentioned waiting in his office. She said she was sleeping off a hang over. Why would she lie? She paused then when he mentioned his mother speaking of some deal and then some conniving little shit. Who would that be? He obviously didn't know what the deal was but this person he thought plotted it could be useful. But she only had two more questions and she would have to be careful. She had to find out about this magic user and the tool he ordered still. "You thought of someone who could have made this deal..." She said, before giving him a curious look. "Was it this witch you hired to bring you that tool, the little blue one Jeremiah saw?" She asked as she thought of how to word her questions to get the most information out of him. There went one more....

She listened to his tant about his brother but nodded, since she didn't understand that much. She didn't remember having siblings. They drove to the place and happily is wasnt too busy. They took a booth seat and she got a cup of hot cocoa again, with a smile at the woman to add extra whipped topping. At the question of food ahw grinned at him. "Everything breakfast related. I like to get a number 12. Its chocolate and bacon pancakes with 3 eggs, and I think sausage, bacon and hash browns... sown times I add a side of biscuits and gravy." She chattered happily since food was a Good topic for her. She had come here a few times with Mina, and once with V. °~~~°~~~°~~~° At Erika's words he simply nodded. "I will be a bit more forth coming perhaps with that knowledge. I look forward to work closely with the Everleighs on such and many matters. In the future as well." He said with a smile before dismissing Mina to wait in the hall. He waited for the door to click closed before he looked at Erika. "I understand your need for formalities however they aren't needed. Elder Lord Jeremiah and myself will be presiding over the trial. Then we will begin the rite of Funeral. The information I will be giving you is of an up most importance, especially after this trial. Though I'm sure you want to know before hand. And I am willing to give you such liberties to ask for it up front, since I know during the funeral- all but The House of White are allowed to be present so you will have to be escorted off the property with the Witch the police sent in to investigate." He explained sinc ehe didnt know if she knew this about the selective house but they held tradition carefully. °~~~°~~~°~~~° When asked about who he was thinking of that plotted against him he turned his glare to her, but didnt speak. Why did she care to know? She didnt need to know- no one did, that would mean they would know he was out smarted... When a witch was brought to the conversation he looked disgusted. "Absolutly not. I dont realy on such a lowly cast for anything. We do things differently here, assuming to bring filth into my manor! And that carcass probably set me up, always hated me- stealing my poor mother away...I do remember a blue stone however. He handed it to me." He stated smoothly some of his irritation having been vented.

Luca blinked at her answer even though it was a good thing to hear. He loved food but he got it honest from his fast metabolism and size. Fey didn't seem like she had an ounce of unhealthy weight on her, but then again her life as a guard probably did work up an appetite. Not that he was judging. He loved the idea of having a friend that he could enjoy good food with. Eli was picky as hell and Alarik ate like a bird. "Yes to all of that! Except the chocolate though." He said since he always avoided it. He found he wasn't very tolerant of chocolate when he first got to the city. It made him hyper and jittery and he ended up getting sick after his brother let him have at least 8 candy bars to himself. He knew Lupin was just trying to help and share his love of sweets, but Luca just didn't do well with them. When the waitress came back, he got himself a coffee and ordered the number 12, asking them to hold the chocolate. He let her order as he made his coffee, putting more cream in it than sugar since he liked the creamy texture more than it being sweet. "You must really like sweets. Not a bad thing, just curious." His expression slipped into something more curious. "What's your favorite thing to eat? Like last meal kinda deal. I would say...a really juicy hamburger!" He said trying to suss out her preferences for future ideas. ~~~ Erika smiled pleasantly at his formal agreement, trying not to appear interested as he sent Mina out of the room. When he spoke to her, Erika listened very carefully to what he had to say. When he was finished, she crossed her legs, perhaps in an unlady like way, before nodding to him. "I will do whatever pleases you, Lord White. However, I would like to advise that formality is the corner stone of your control. If people think they can be friendly with you, they may overstep their stations and therefore treat you with less respect than your station is deserving of. You will be head of the clans beneath you and they will look to you for guidance. Our Clans have answered to The House of White for generations as it was the only one to stand after the war destroyed the others. You, Lord White, will be the hand that keeps them in line, the sole caretaker for our wellfare and future, and the ear they must bend to see power, including those that may not wish to see you succeed...I'm sure you may be aware of a few... I've seen enough in my time to know that even mice may challenge the cat if they think they have enough leverage. If it's all the same, I would like to keep up a few formal pretenses while also giving you my honest opinion of course." She said before leaning on her hands that rested beneath her chin. "And I do wish to request this information upfront as its my job to keep it for our records, no matter how sealed they may be. But I worry about prying ears if this information is as sensitive as you say. Are we sure this room is secure?" She said before she frowned at his mention of a witch being on the premises. ~~~ Lilura's nostils flared as she exhaled an irritated breath from her nose. Ada was pissing her off, bashing witches left and right, but she couldn't rightly argue. She needed him to answer her. "A lowly cast that brought upon your death vampire. How funny." Korro snickered, but Lilura gave him a glare over her shoulder. He wasn't helping, even though it was odd to see him sticking up for her. But she had to pay attention to the facts here. Jeremiah was looking guiltier by the moment but she remembered the details the Elder mentioned. She requested a tool be brought that Jeremiah retrieved, he was given the tool by the witch to give to Ada, he thought Ada ordered it, and the witch was somewhere in the house. Spirits didn't usually lie when they were dead and she knew Ada was already being vague. If he was lying, it wouldn't help his case. It confirmed her distrust of Jeremiah though. She would have to have a conversation with him once she was out of this space... "So you never spoke to or hired a witch for this tool. Jeremiah had the stone because the Elder asked for it to be brought. She mentioned a tool when I spoke to her but... That means someone else in this house did order it. You may not be wrong Ada about Jeremiah but it's odd your mother would request the tool and have it given to you... A blue stone...maybe it's a container for the life syphon spell. Could explain why it was wrapped up in cloth to keep contact off of it. That's some powerful old shit but not impossible." She huffed before looking at Ada one last time. She had to make this question count. Ada thought Jeremiah did it. So that left Mina and Jeremiah on her radar. But the missing link was this witch and she needed to find him even if it took searching this house top to bottom. "Ada, is there anything else you wish to say? Any other knowledge you think will help find your killer? Trust me or not, I want to do your spirit some justice. No one should die before their time and I...don't like the idea of leaving this place without doing what I can to help you." She said. Even if he was a difficult ass, she still felt sorry for him and wanted to help him like she did with everyone.

She was quick to order a number 12 as well but with extra chocolate. When Luca poked fun at her likeing sweets she blushed a little, hiding behind her cocoa cup. The question of a last meal sort of deal made her think though. "Honey." She stated. "I like honey more then chocolates." She stated not really getting the point of the question. °~~~°~~~°~~~° Did the woman have to look like a cat who spotted the bird? The spider in her web, but little did she know, he was the mouse that bested Ada. When she asked about the room he nodded," It is. Now please do listen carefully. This is information I think needs to be well hidden- the the better of today." He stated smoothly before taking a breath and looking at the woman. Instead of the casual almost compassionate look he had before his face was voided of emotion and he looked more intense. "I planned and enacted such plan to assassinate Previous Lord Ada White. I made sure all loose ends were tired and paid in full. No one but Ada was supposed to die- however the witch involved passed due to an outside circumstance. Not of my planning. It also enabled a human peon- not fully adopted into the House of White- as she was unfit of the title was released, as well as a few other political prisoners." He stated with a confident look. The woman could ask for details he had it all written out beautifully in a locked folder in his desk. He would even share if she asked, but it was a secret... °~~~°~~~°~~~° As the witch rambled he practically ignored her. She went on about Jeremiah...who the hell cared what that ancient bastard did? He was a lunatic- like his mother was. When she asked if he had anything else to say, pleading that she wanted to do him some justice he scoffed at her words. "I was bested at my own game. Not much else to do besides letting me be, and letting others think my mother killed me in a Bout of lunacy then face the riciduce of being bested." He said candidly before he practically looked disinterested with the witch.

Luca noticed the blush and found it cute. It drew a curious smile to his lips as he leaned in some to get a better look at her blushing behind the cup. His playful side thought about teasing her, but the gentleman in him thought that might be mean. "I'm sorry if it sounded like I was picking on you. It just explains the sweet smell you have under the vampire one. And I have a big mouth so I usually say what comes to mind. Feel free to smack me if it every gets too much." He said since he rather liked the sweet smell even mingled with the spicy burn of a vampire scent. Her answer of honey was not one he expected but he could roll with that. "Honey huh? Well I was going to say some ideas for restaurants that had sweets but I didn't expect honey. Hm maybe a candy shop? And I think Alarik said their were wines made out of honey. But you don't like to drink--Um, I don't know, something to explore on a later date--Date as in day not as in--well you know--" He said, just chatting as he usually did. It wasn't in a nervous or awkward way, just filling in where his thoughts left off. "Anyways, I'm excited to get the photos developed. I think Sadie is going to freak when she sees the shots you took. I'll be sure to do them justice if they need any editing in post." He said since newspapers often didn't print the same detail, but he would be sure to get her the original copies of the photos. ~~~ Erika sat and listened, her look not shifting when Viatas's changed from the kinder sound to something emotionless. Seems the boy had some backbone...Her eyes widened briefly when he said he was the one that planned Ada's assassination, but the brief flash of emotion was quickly hidden away. Well...He was the last person she expected to achieve killing a vampire years his senior. But she didn't doubt the information was truthful. He didn't look like he was lying to her and his words were even with no signs of exaggeration. A human killed a vampire lord before he was even turned...The very idea would send the council into a frenzy, but no one would ever know. Erika was sworn to secrecy and wouldn't die for this boy's secrets. She sat there a moment in the silence, processing the news before she gave a slow nod to herself. "May I ask some things to better understand, Lord White? Why would you kill him? You were to inherit the house and weren't even turned yet...And this witch is dead-- in your home? Are you not worried of the repercussions from the Sorcerer Superior? They take deaths of their followers seriously these days and having a witch prowling your home opens you up for further investigation...But I am to assume you will use either the Elder or this witch to take the fall? Though I suppose a witch should know better than to wander the halls of a vampire house. Their death could be ruled as an accident in the reports to the magic users...Now these political prisoners you released, have we reason to worry that they will be used against your house due to their exposure to your inner workings? Should they be dealt with? We have a few trained people that could do so discretely should you see fit." She asked since these were her thoughts on the matter and he didn't have to answer if he didn't want to. It seemed the human could play dirty so she would allow him the respect of not sugar coating or beating around the bush because she believed him too sensitive. He thought he was smart, so let him make these decisions. ~~~ Lilura's face fell at his reply and she tried not to show that she was disappointed. The vampire would rather die with his pride than tell her anything it seemed. She felt it unfair to keep him there and motioned to Korro. "Send him on so we can head back. I don't want him haunting the snake." She said since the creature seemed fine. Maybe someone could care for it in his stead...She was thrust out of the purgatory space no more than a second later since after her questions were done, she had nothing tying her to the spirit there. Human's couldn't exist long in those spaces else they risked dying themselves. She gasped as her spirit returned to her body and she raised a hand to push hair from her face. The black stain of her hands made her wince and quickly look away, knowing it would fade in an hour or so. She didn't know what the magic was doing to her body, but she did know soon this stain on her soul would keep spreading till it covered her completely. Her darker skin felt no different so she just simply hoped it was for the best. She slipped on the gloves she kept in her pocket and went to the door to her room. "I need to speak with Jeremiah White. The sooner the better." She told the guard, hoping one could help her reach him. She walked out of the room and looked down the hall, deciding it best to look around till he did show up. She ignored any protests if there were some and continued on her path back to where she had last seen Ada's body. She wanted this blue stone and perhaps it could lead her to the witch...

When Luca explained his question she blushed a deeper red. She smelled like it? When he said to smack him if he was out of line she shook her head. "I wouldnt ever." She stuttered since that didnt sound nice. When he went on about food and restaurants she nodded but looked a little shy when he called it a date of sorts, even if he over corrected. Blush still on her cheeks she gave him a soft look. "We can go for ice cream? They have a honey ice cream that's really smooth, and sweet, and tasty...and I maybe wouldn't mind it as a date." She added, but was already looking at her drink mostly hoping he didnt hear her but figured he did. The mention of her pictures made her nod, still wondering if she even took good pictures or not. °~~~°~~~°~~~° When she asked her questions he nodded, thinking carefully on the answers. "I killed Ada because he was trash. He was overly self entitled and bad for The House of White. He was hurting others simply for the sake of breaking them. That is not a leader." He stated bluntly since honestly it wasnt. "The witch was a sad death but nessecarily. He had no links to the out side world, he was a solo individual who worked in darker matters." He explained smoothly since he planned that part out. As the woman went on to ask if the people released needed to be 'handled' he shook his head. "No, the human was of no consequence, she didnt belong obviously. The vampire however that was sitting in the dungeons however- do with as you find necessary. I will leave that up to your own digression as your family has been at this a lot longer. I have a file with his knowledge in it if you please. I am opting to let those who are better equipt handle that particular issue. " he stated with a smile. °~~~°~~~°~~~° When the witch went off in a hurry, the guards looked a little panicked, having two follow her since they had been told to watch her. It wasnt until they both suddenly dissappeared from behind the witch did it get very quiet in the hall. Annabella stood not a few feet behind her with a smile. "You have such lovely hair, and skin- the black is beautiful- such a deep and embossed shade." She stated clearly not fooled by the gloves.
