“Well, than I guess we both have our baggage so it’s fair.” He commented, though it didn’t look like he was really thinking about the fairness of the topic. If she had her moments too than it wouldn’t be such a big deal. He wasn’t particularly pleased to hear that she got violent sometimes, but it wasn’t as though he could really say anything about it. He apparently self-mutilated himself when in certain visions. Many of his more obtuse scars could be traced back to his visions. He would wake up in a pool of blood, some sort of sharp object next to him or in the hospital who would tell him what happened. It really wasn’t a very pleasant thing to wake up to. Sometimes he worried that he wouldn’t wake up at all. He nodded when she commented about shifting into her wolf form to follow him. It would make things easier for him in all honesty. He was in shape, but he would rather not be out of breath when he got home. He watched as she stepped back and started undressing. Apparently she wasn’t one to care much about modesty. He looked away, but didn’t turn around. He wasn’t a prude but he had been around nude males and females in relation to helping out some medical students with equations for their research projects. The sound of bones snapping and scraping together pulled his attention towards her again, even though he knew it was probably against social protocol to watch something like this. When he watched what happened, he knew it was a rather intimate process, or at least he felt that it should be. He didn’t look shocked when she had fully transformed into a sleek silver furred she-wolf. Instead, he almost seemed intrigued, maybe even happy. “That was wonderful.” He said simply, one of his little half smiles forming as he turned the bike around and mounted it, looking back at her to make sure that she was ready. He kicked off and began pedaling towards his home.
Honestly, it was a complement. ((I didn’t know if you wanted anything to happen during the trip, so I am going to leave it open. You can either take him to the house or I can it doesn’t matter. =D ))

Baggage, they both sure did have some. She did have some violent moments but that once once in a great awhile, the only time they happened frequently, like every other day or a few days of a gap, was mostly because of stress which she didn't have lately. V was actually pretty calm, not a single violently or stressed out thought in her head. There was just a little awaiting irritation by the people she would be somewhat coming into contact with but that was unavoidable.
She didn't mind Remus watching her transformation at all, she was so used to people watching her do this that it was nobody was around. Due to shifting so many times in her lifetime it didn't hurt like it would for others, she could only feeling a bit of pulling on her skin and a pulsing feeling, each change happening to her body with each heart beat. In those couple moments she was standing there, looking up to the man when he spoke, a small smile pulling the corners of her lips up but said nothing.
Once they got going it grew silent, she either trotted right behind Remus with no problem, just keeping her gaze focused on him that way she didn't have to see the looks people gave him or her. When he would speed up so would she, going from a troy to a steady “gallop” and not once going beside or in front of him. The exchange of words were; how far is your place, this way, not too much farther, almost there and here we are.
Finally they reached his place, mismatched eyes looking up and down the buildings around them.

The ride didn’t take too much time. V stayed behind him, keeping up nicely. He didn’t ride as fast as he normally would have, but then again he didn’t want to cause the she-wolf any trouble. When they got into town, the area’s more busy roads, he didn’t notice the fact that a few people who were walking or driving gave the man on the bike and his overly large ‘dog’ strange looks. His mind was actually focused on other topics and so he only really paid attention to where he was going and what was in front of him. A few words were exchanged between them, but not many as the ride was rather quiet. Eventually they made it to his neighborhood. There were trees planted along the street, tall oaks. There was a nice sidewalk and a few cars parked in the street. It was your average suburban scenery with one to two story houses scattered next to each other; however, behind the houses on the left side was a small forested area. He pedaled up a driveway, stopping in front of the garage. This house was the odd one out in the neighborhood, looking as though it was remodeled within the past five years to look completely different from your average house. It looked to be made from wood with the front door blocked off from view and no front porch like the other houses. He got off of the bike and punched in a number into a key pad, a different code from the one on his bike lock. The garage door hummed open and he entered, waiting for V to enter as well before closing it. A small light lit the area. It looked more like a work area than something that held cars with tools scattered across a work bench and chalkboards hanging from walls with equations written all across of them. He leaned his bike up against one of the walls and unlocked the door to the house with a key he had fished out of his pocket. He stepped in and shut the door behind V. They entered next to the kitchen with appliances fit for an actual chef. The wood was a rich cherry with gold, brown, and tan flecked quartz counter tops. He strode past it though and into the main living area which was all spread open but for a few spaces. There were high vaulted ceilings over the living room, dining room, and hallway. A staircase led up to a loft like area where the bedrooms and second bathroom were located. His house was quite clean, though chalkboards and whiteboards littered the area, either on wheels or hanging on the walls. It was a habit of his. He wrote down certain thoughts sometimes and he needed a better way than pen and paper to keep them organized, especially with how many thoughts he seemed to have simultaneously. “You can make yourself at home. There is a bathroom on the other side of the kitchen. The bedrooms are upstairs with another bathroom as well. My bedroom is the furthest one down the hall up stairs, so you can pick the one that is open unless you like sleeping on a futon in an office.” He explained, almost making a joke which was rare. He ran his fingers through his hair slightly and glanced at V. (( This is the house. If you google ferrous house, you will get what it looks like, though I made some changes))

V stood there examining the neighborhood. It had a peacefullness to it, it was calm and quiet unlike cities with large crowds of peole at every turn. The air wasn't polluted with the stench of gasoline or car exhaust, it was fresh. Mismatched eyes looked up an down the street, decent sized lawns and nice houses, a few cars parked on the streets that were lined with large oak trees. She could just see a forested area behind some homes. It seemed like a good neighborhood to live in, if she could, somedy, she would like to live in a place like this. And this house, it was different from the other more "modern" homes, it looked out of place, more like a house that somebody would have made to be in the forest. It was beautiful.
She was brought back from her thoughts at the hum of the garage door opening, giving a glance around beforetrotting after Remus into the garage. Inside her gaze once traveled, moving from the scattered tools to the chalkboards hanging from the walls with all kinds of equations written accross them. She didn't think like Remus did so as she looked at the equations she attempted to make some sense of them while the man placed his bike against a wall then unlock the door to the house. With a shake of her head she turned away from the boards, looking at the equations and trying to make some sense of them was starting to give her a small headache so she quickly followed after Remus.
They had walked into what she assumed to be the kitchen, it was unlike any place she has seen before. Everything looked so nice and clean as they went into the living room. It was kind of weird for her, she was use to being in the forest or run-down dirty places. It was all so... amazing. Her thoughts were pulled from that though once she saw more boards littered around the living room, more equations written across them. She didn't really know what to think of them, whether it was a way to get things out of his head or if he was kind of crazy, whichever it was it didn't freak her out, just made her curious as to what went on in his head.
She peeled away from the boards and towards Remus, nodding her head to what he said about making herself at home and that she could pick an open room or choose a futon in the office. She gave a odd little reaction to his joke, eyes closed and she stretched her neck to stick her head out, tongue poking out the front of her mouth and made a farting sound. "I will take a room... What will you be doing?" She asked, looking away from him and sitting down in the middle of the living room just looking around.
If he would get some work done or shower then she would fine an open room and wait to shower, she wasn't sure what she would do afterwards. V had no job to go to, no family or friends to see. She had nothing to do besides sit here and either talk to Remus or hill while he worked. She hated it, to pass time in the forest she would just walk and explore the land, watch the animals go about their routine and sometimes she would chase and scare them out of boredom or just sleep.

Remus watched V sit down in the middle of the living room before answering. “I was going to change and take a shower. You are more than welcome to take one after me. If you want different clothing, I could give you some of my own temporarily.” He shrugged his shoulders and began walking towards the stairs, stopping after putting his foot on the first stair. “There are a few stores within walking distance that we passed if you need clothing. We can go there later if you would like.” He offered, mainly being polite with stuff that he figured would be nice. He wasn’t really sure if that was something that you would really offer or if he was being too nice or what not. He just never was too sure about these sorts of situations. With those words he climbed the rest of the stairs, stopping in his room to remove his shoes and dirty socks, tossing those into the dirty laundry hamper. He also grabbed a pair of dark brown slacks and a button up green shirt. He had to stop into work at some point later this evening and so figured it would save time if he changed into a more professional outfit now, though he found slacks to be a bit more comfortable than jeans. He made his way to the bathroom, locking the door behind him. Stripping down after turning on the water, he stepped in. The water wasn’t steaming hot as many people had it. If the water was too hot it irritated his skin. Instead he bathed with it a little cooler than lukewarm. He showered quickly, turning off the water and stepping on the earthy toned shower mat. He dried himself off, using a separate towel for his hair before getting dressed and then brushing out his messy white locks, not that it did any good. He threw the dirty towel into a small basket by the door, taking his old clothes in his room for the same hamper his socks had gone int. Feeling a bit more refreshed he walked through the hallways, wondering where V would be. He had been gone for about fifteen minutes, though he didn’t really care where she was. There was nothing really personal that he had to hide or that he would care about if she turned out to be a thief. If she took one of his boards with equations and other ideas on it, he would be peeved, but not a whole lot made him very angry.

”If you don't mind, I would like that.” She replied to his offer of going to the store later. V didn't want to be wearing his clothing, first reason was that this shirt was too big and loose, she only grabbed it because it was the only comfortable looking shirt and second, she didn't know how he would feel about letting her wear his clothing. She watched him climb the stairs, turning away to look at the boards with her head tilted the slightest. After a moment she pushed herself up onto all four limbs, turned around and headed for the stairs, her claws clicking lightly against the hardwood floor.
She made her way up the stairs, ears twitching slightly at the sound of Remus taking a shower. With a sniff here and there she headed down the hallway to check out the open room he had mentioned. She stopped in the doorway, she wasn't the picky type and his home already impressed her so she just wanted a little look at the room she would be staying in. With a satisfied hum the silver wolf walked into the room, walking along the walls and sniffing at things like the dressers, closet and bed. The bed, she lay her head on it and closed her eyes. ”Nice...” With that she pushed herself forward, sliding her way onto the comfy bed but under the sheets.
If Remus were to look in the open room besides his he would see a large lump under the covers. If he were to do some work or rite equations downstairs after her shower then she would probably take a nice nap, it would be nice and she would be out of his way.

Remus made it down the hall and glanced inside of the guest room. His brow furrowed at first when he saw the lump on the bed, under the sheets. He wondered if she was asleep. “V?” He questioned lightly. “The shower is open now if you want it. I will be downstairs.” He stayed in the door way for a moment, before shaking his head and leaving, heading down the stairs. He found it quite odd that he now had someone else in his house. It was a rare occurrence and even when he did, they rarely stayed in his guest room. In fact, he didn’t think anyone had in over a year. He kept everything clean and changed the sheets occasionally. It was something to keep him busy. Once downstairs, he walked into the kitchen and pored himself a glass of water into a pale blue plastic cup. He then opened up the fridge to see what all he had in it. There was some cheese, a few vegetables, and a variety of other things. It was still relatively early in the day so, he figured why not put something in the slow cooker. He rarely every cooked anything big, though he did know how to since he didn’t get out much. People tended to look at him in a strange manner due to the fact that he came across as a little out there. He generally found himself late to appointments and he spoke in a manner that was a bit too formal for most situations when around more than one person. Finding some beef in the freezer, he set it out to thaw while he cut up the vegetables. He poured cream of mushroom into the slow cooker and then the beef. He spooned the mushroom sauce over the beef, plugged in the slow cooker and turned it to high, putting the cut veggies into baggies and then in the fridge for later. He discarded what needed to be discarded and then rummaged through his cabinets until finding some herbs and spices. He reopened the slow cooker and seasoned everything, adding a decent bit of garlic. He generally didn’t make this and so his usual ordered manner was chaotic. He didn’t like not being ordered very much, but that was how his mind flowed most of the time so he had sucked it up. Leaving the kitchen and moving on to the living room, he sat down and just closed his eyes, body rather sore, though it didn’t really show on his face. It wasn’t that he was trying to hide it either. Remus just naturally was usually not that emotional. Soon enough the scent of cooking meat and garlic wafted around the house. Within the next hour, Remus would have to add the vegetables. He just didn’t want them to get too mushy after all. Wondering how long a shower V would take and if she would come down stairs after, Remus pulled a small white board out from behind the chair that he was sitting in. A marker was magnetically attached so he didn’t have to go searching for one. Uncapping the black inked marker, he began writing, the sound of squeaking giving that away.

V lay under the sheets with eyes closed, enjoying the soft and warm feeling of laying on the bed and her own warmth stuck beneath the sheets. Giving a groan as she stretched and turned onto her back, legs stretching up into the air making a odd looking tent with the sheets before turning onto her side. She stayed like that till the man came into the doorway calling her name, the lump on the bed shifting as she sat up, ears perked up. The shower was open. With that sad she stood up, pushing her head forward, walking along the bed looking for the edge then slipping back out.
The wolf walked into the hallway, watching Remus go down the stairs before going into the bathroom. Inside she shifted into her human form, repeating the process but backwards this time, the clothes tied around waist falling to the floor. She turned and shut the door then reached down and picked up her clothing, folding them nicely and setting them on the counter before walking over to the shower and turning on the water. She waited for it to be warm, not cool and not hot, once it reached the desired temperature she climbed in.
It felt way better then bathing in cold water in the forest, way better. She stood there for about five minutes, just enjoying it against her skin before she starting cleaning herself. Scrubbing here and there, mostly under her dirt caked nails and hair. In all it took about twenty minutes before she finally turned off the water and stepped out, grabbing a towel to dry herself off. She pulled on the leggings then slipped the shirt on over her head then opened the door and headed into her temporary room where she dried off her hair a little then placed the towel into a hamper that was by the door.
With that done she headed into the hallway and down the stairs, the sound of a squeaking marker reaching her ears and the smell of cooking meat and garlic reaching her nose. It smelled good. Coming to the bottom of the stairs she glanced into the kitchen before walking into the living room, spotting Remus sitting in a chair, writing something on a whiteboard. He looked pretty good in slacks and that green shirt, and she looked pretty good herself too, not to sound conceited. Showering gave her a fresh look, her hair wasn't a dirty grey-silver anymore and her skin wasn't brushed with dirt here and there. Her hair was a smooth and shiny white-silver and her skin was pale.
"Will you be leaving anytime after the food is done? I assume you need to contact work or go in to make up what you probably missed." She spoke, walking over to a couch and sitting down with a long and thin leg crossed over the other, mistahced eyes locked on him.

Remus was so ingrained in what he was doing that he did not hear V come down the stairs. He barely registered the fact that someone was speaking to him; the only sign that he heard her was a twitch of his eyes. His hair was still damp, weighed down in-between flat and sticking up. He blinked a few times as though he was coming back to reality and looked up, marker hovering over the board as his incongruous eyes search around until they landed on V. He almost looked confused for a moment before everything came to him. He really wasn’t used to anyone else being in his house. “Ah, yes, sorry.” He mumbled, setting the whiteboard on a coffee table, a half-finished equation written down on it. He turned to face her, taking in V’s rather refreshed look. He didn’t speak for a moment. She looked quite attractive with a certain glow to her skin that hadn't been there before. She was lean and curved rather nicely. Remus just stared some before shaking his head and mumbling to himself about not being used to company and what not. Finally he looked at her and answered her question. “The food will be done after I leave.” He commented and then frowned some with an idea. “There is a baggie of vegetables in the fridge. If you put them in the slow cooker in about a half hour and then add another can of cream of mushroom, it should be done by the time I get back. “He stood and began walking towards the kitchen, though turned on his heels and walked back towards V. “If I leave now, I can be back sooner.” He explained. “Even in time for dinner.” He picked up the white board he had been working on before looking as though he was trying to remember something. “There is a TV in here somewhere, the fireplace is self-lighting, I have plenty of books if you want to read, and you can help yourself to anything in the kitchen, just make sure to add the stuff in the slow cooker.” He added and then walked towards the kitchen again, heading for the garage. “I’ll be back soon, maybe.” He said before leaving the building and entering the garage, almost sounding like a rushed normal person. Of course, this had been a last minute decision, but it made more sense to him this way. He opened the garage, began wheeling his bike out and stopped. After carefully standing his bike up, he ran back inside and up the stairs, grabbing a brief case like bag and ran back out to his bike without saying anything. He then slung it over his head and let it sit on his shoulder and peddled away, the garage door shutting after a few moments due to the setting he had put in it.

V smiled at Remus's reaction, he seemed to be deep in his writing that he didn't even notice her walking in and him taking a moment to answer her question. She was a bit disappointed though to know that he indeed was leaving, something she didn't really understand, she was never disappointed to hear somebody was leaving. She put a hand to her forehead, rubbing it then the right side of her face, letting it fall to her side when he turned and came back over to her to give instructions on what to do with the food. She gave a nod, showing she understood what he said. Even though she never actually cooked before, it was pretty simple with what she had to do.
She didn't move from where she was when he went to the garage then came back in to grab a bag then head out again, for good this time. She just sat there, looking around the room until letting her body fall to the side and layed on the couch. What would she do now? The lycan lay there staring up at the wall for a few minutes, turning her head to look at a clock hanging on the wall. Thirty minutes, then add the bag of vegetables and another can of cream of mushrooms.
Instead of laying there the whole time the silver haired girl slid onto the floor, then using her arms she pulled herself across the floor, going from one end to the other before finally getting up and looking over to the clock. Ten minutes wasted, twenty more to go. She decided to look around the living room for more whiteboards stashed somewhere, but found none so she went up the stairs and looked in a closet, finding one and a marker to go with it. She took these back down to the living and plopped onto the couch, she lay there with the board against her legs and doodled small images. Some of a wolf, her and others of fighting dogs and a girl and man. She looked up at the clock every few minutes, setting the board down once the time was up.
V got off the couch and walked into the kitchen and over to the fridge, she opened it and quickly found the bag of veggies and walked over to the cooker where she dumped them in and added the can of creamed mushroom. With that done she left the kitchen and headed up the stairs to her room to get undressed, laying the clothing on the bed nicely and shifted into her wolf self. She had gone back down to the kitchen and laid down next to the door into the garage, staying clear of it so that if it opened it wouldn't hit her. There really was nothing for her to do while he was gone so she would just wait for him by taking a nap.

Remus made it to the small university in about ten minutes. He didn’t go all that fast, but of course it wasn’t all that far away. The town wasn’t very big, but it did have more than three or four stop lights. Once there, he chained his bike to the appropriate place and walked inside. A few of the students recognized him and said hello, Remus nodding in response, though not smiling making him seem a bit unapproachable. Soon enough he was at the lab. One of the techs, upon seeing him, informed him of a few updates regarding the biological waterproof coating. He didn’t sit but looked over the information provided, suggesting a change here or there, even writing up a few ideas. He was up to that for about an hour before he got called into the mathematics building. He wasn’t a professor at the school, but the students that had worked with him in the research department knew of him and often times would ask him for help with their theses. One student in particular was having some more trouble than normal. She had asked him for help nearly twice a week the last month. Remus found it very disconcerting that a woman with her education needed this much help. Usually they got it from other professors in the first place. He wasn’t the professor that overviewed her thesis work anyways and he was sure that whoever did wasn’t happy with her always coming to see him. He worked with her for a half hour before noticing the time and excusing himself, pretty well having to shut the office door in her face to get her to let him go. Yea, that was the polite thing to do wasn’t it? He stopped by the lab once more and picked up some extra paper work, sliding it into his already stuffed bag. Making his way out, he was stopped by a professor who had a few questions .This took another half hour for him to sort out. Normally, he would have spent much longer at the university; however he had a guest over and would rather not like to leave her alone for too long. Plus, his vegetables would get too mushy for his tastes if left in much longer. He also forgot to tell V to stir it on occasion. It wasn’t necessary but it got everything mixed together rather nicely. When he finally got away and started home on his bike, he had been gone for a little more than two hours. He peddled home, the cooler air keeping him from sweating too much. He arrived home in less than ten minutes, going through the process of opening the garage, putting away his bike, closing the garage and opening the door to his house. He could smell the food strongly as he opened the door and it made his mouth water. He was hungry.

The nap was decent, as usual she had no dreams. V couldn't remember the last time she had a good one, she either had none of a terrible nightmare every now and then. She was glad she didn't have the nightmare. She was woken up by the sound of the garage door opening and closing, quickly she stood up and kind of ran for the stairs and into her room where she shifted into her human self and pulled her clothes on. With that done she walked out the room and down the stairs, reaching the bottom just as Remus walked in. "How'd it go?" She asked him, walking over to the counter and taking a seat. She was a bit excited to see he was back even though she wouldn't say so, with him here it felt less lonely in this nice house. She lay her head down on her crossed arms on the counter with her head tilted which made her bangs fall to the side and reveal those mismatched eyes.

Remus glanced up when he heard feet coming down the stairs. He watched as she came and sat down, laying her head on the table, arms crossed underneath. The pose almost made him stop walking for a moment, her eyes nearly catching him of guard. They were quite nice he thought much better looking than his nearly black and gold ones. It was strange to find someone else with eyes mismatched as theirs were, but he wasn’t one to stare and examine someone so outright. He tended to watch from a distance, taking in how someone moved and acted; their mannerisms and how they spoke. He would do it without being obvious, though sometimes he tended to get caught. He set his briefcase satchel on the counter and leaned up against it, thinking about her question. “Well enough I suppose. They got further on the water proof substance I mentioned earlier which was good. A rather bothersome student kept me busy and on my way out a professor stopped and asked me questions for a half hour.” He shrugged his shoulders as though it was a normal day. He didn’t go into detail, not feeling it necessary. Pushing off of the counter, he walked around it and pulled out dishes and silverware from the cabinets. “Are you by any chance hungry?” He question, his stomach feeling empty from riding his bike a rather nice amount today. He unbuttoned the top two buttons of his shirt, looking a little more relaxed and then rolled up his sleeves to his elbows. He didn’t want to get them dirty of course. He got a serving utensil, turned off the slow cooked and served himself, waiting to see if V wanted any. “Did you do anything interesting while I was gone?” He questioned, remembering that it was in good social protocol to reciprocate a question when it had to do with how a person was doing or how their day was. It was something like that at least.

V smiled as he stood there basically staring at her, she didn't mind. She was used to people staring at her, even though it was for a different reason than why Remus was, he was probably still amazing or whatever because he found somewhat that looked kind of like him. Kind of seeing as he was a guy and he had nearly black and gold eyes while hers were gold and blue. Her gaze remained on him as he set his bag on the counter and answered her question, "Busy busy." She spoke softly with a small smile, lifting her head up and propping it onto a hand.
She remained where she was and watched him pull out some dishes and silverware and replied with a yes to his question on if she was hungry. "Interesting," She spoke when he asked if she did anything interesting today which made her look into the living room then back to him. "Not really, I walked around and drew some pictures on a whiteboard. I hope you don't mind, I found one in a closet that had nothing written on it. She didn't know what his equations were for or what they meant but she knew that he wouldn't like if she were to erase some just for her to doodle silly pictures.
"Would you like to see them after we eat?" She asked, hoping a little that he would like to look at them. She never really showed anyone her doodles the few times she did them, she knew she wasn't really good at drawing but when she did draw something it made her feel good.

Remus’s eyebrows rose as his back was facing her. Busy, busy was a good way of putting it he supposed. He was busy, but generally he found himself with nothing to do but think or read. Television wasn’t really his thing, though he knew there were a few located around the house. He just tended to not think about them too much. Television shows just weren’t to his tastes and even though he wasn’t so fond of constantly thinking since it was exhausting, he found that adding television to it just made things worse at times. Music was alright, though not all of it. He nodded when she replied about being hungry, dolloping a decent amount of food onto her plate. It was something similar to stroganoff though more stew like since he hadn’t felt like making noodles to go with it. He could be lazy at times too. It wasn’t as though it was against the rules or anything right? He brought the plates over to where V was sitting and set her plate in front of her, a fork in the wide set bowl already. So she drew pictures and lazed around pretty much. It sounded nice. If he started drawing pictures, it might just end up that he would spend hours on it till it was perfect. He found it annoying but it was a compulsion that he had sometimes with equations among other things. “Sure. I would like to see them.” He stated, glancing over at her before taking a bit of the food. It was lightly salty with a garlic undertone, a hint of spice in the after taste. It was rather good for just throwing it together, but by no means was it a master work of culinary skill. You couldn't even really taste the cream of mushroom how well the beef and vegetables has blended.
