V gave a thank you when he had placed the bowl in front of her, a hand reaching out and grabbing the fork and pulled some food into her mouth. She chewed it slowly, enjoying the many flavors that flooded her taste buds. When he said he would like to see them it made her smile, they might have been simple, not so great doodles but she still liked them and was happy that he wanted to see them.
Not sure about how he felt about talking while eating, V kept quiet while she ate her bowl full of food, glancing over at Remus every few moments or around the kitchen. Not being around people a whole lot she didn't really know what to talk about or what he would like to talk about, she was kind of just waiting for something to pop up or trigger a conversation.
In a few minutes, at least that's what it felt like, V was done with her bowl. "That was really good... Should I just put it in the sink?" She asked him with an unsure tone in her voice.

Remus kept to himself while eating. He only ever ate lunch with other people and then they usually only talked about work. When they talked about their social lives or families, Remus just listened in and watched. He didn’t really talk much when eating. He figured that he would if there was something to talk about but as of right now the two of them were mostly strangers. Sure, they knew a bit about each other that other people didn’t know; at least not very many people he assumed. Maybe, maybe not, he really wasn’t all that sure. He felt her eyes on him occasionally, watching her out of the corner of his eyes. It was habit, but he felt like they were in what people considered the awkward stage of getting to know someone. Within a few minutes, V was done with her plate. He glanced over at her. Swallowing his current bite before speaking, he directed her on what to do. “Rinse it off and put it in the dishwasher please.” He motioned with his eyes to where the semi-disguised dish cleaning equipment was located. He continued on his meal though, only a few bites left himself. He stood up when done and took his plate to the sink, rinsing it off and placing it in the dishwasher. He put some dishwasher soap in and ran it since it hadn’t been run in the past two days and was somewhat full. He grabbed his empty glass from earlier and got some juice out of the fridge, pouring some for himself. “Glasses are in that cabinet if you want something to drink. I have juice, milk, and water.” He explained, point towards the cabinet that he was refereeing to. Remus then turned to the slow cooker and the nifty little contraption could break down into parts, perfect for storing leftovers in the fridge. There would be enough for tomorrow as well and it would taste even better if he let is cook on low for a few more hours the next day. He stuck that in the fridge and cleaned off the counter, something he had forced himself to get into the habit of. He wasn’t fond of sticky counters with food particles everywhere. Washing his hands, he dried them and turned towards V. “You drawings?” He questioned, signaling that he was ready when she was to see what she had drawn while he was away.

With a nod of her head V walked over to the sink where she turned on the water and rinsed off the bowl then her fork, she then went to the dishwasher and opened it before placing the items inside, Remus just a few steps behind her. She stepped aside to give him some room to lean his things off then also place in the dishwasher. When he mentioned getting something to drink she shook her head, not really thirsty at the moment, she will remember though for when she did get thirsty.
She stood there silently, feeling awkward as he went on to pull the sow cooker apart and put away the remaining food for a different time. She was leaning against the counter, a hand holding her opposite arm and her gaze on the floor as she waited for him to finish up. When he was done he mentioned the drawings, lifting her head and giving a nod she walked across the kitchen and into the living room. The board was on the couch, picking it up she looked at it for a moment before looking up to him. "They aren't great but they're something" She said, turning the board around so he could see the doodles.
They didn't really mean anything, she just drew whatever came to mind. The only one that actually meant was something was a little doodle on the bottom right that was a cliff with a tree on it and a wolf sitting near the edge under the moon. She had a dream where she saw this, the wolf was her and she didn't know why she was sitting there. She could feel a mix of sad and happiness, but she didn't know what from. All she knew was that something happened that would change her life.
(( We need some excitement. XD ))

Remus followed her into the other room and watched her pick up the white board that he assumed held her drawings. She handed it to him and he studied them, sitting on the couch with a bit of a grunt, his bruised chest irritated at him for riding his bike so much. He looked thoughtful as he looked each one over, his eyebrows rather animated when he thought about something. “They aren’t bad.” He murmured, noting that the lines were rather well placed for being doodles on a white board. “I like this one-“ He said pointing to the wolf howling at the moon. “And this one is rather---cute” He stated as he pointed towards the wolf lying down, looking almost surprised that the word ‘cute’ had come out of his mouth. It wasn’t something he used very often but it was true. In fact, he couldn’t remember the last time he had called anything cute. Well, maybe his brain was just tired. “Do they mean anything?” He questioned, taking the marker and doodling a little in an open corner at the bottom. He glanced at V, mismatched eyes catching the light just right to make them look almost like they were a different color.
((Did you draw those? Sooo much better than anything I could ever do. And yes we do need more excitement. Either something interesting happens in the next few posts or Remus has a vision.>.<))

(( Yes I did draw them, I wanted to give you a visual of what she did. ^_^ A vision! He should have a vision! ))
V smiled as he sat down and looked at her little drawings, he looked thoughtful while looking them over. She stood there watching him with her arms behind her back waiting for his reaction to how they looked. She didn't quite understand why she was anxious about what he thought about them, it just sort of happened. She didn't mind though, she kind of liked the feeling it gave her. Her eyes lit up when he said they weren't bad and even liked two of them, the howling wolf and the wolf laying down, even thinking the one laying down was cute. "Thank you." She responded.
When he asked if they meant anything she took a sit beside him, staring at the board a few moments before pointing to the wolf under the moon. "This is from a dream... the wolf is me but I don't understand where I am or why I am sitting there. I feel a mix of sadness and happiness, but don't know what from. All I know is that something will happen that will change my life." She told him, the excitement leaving her face, replaced by a more serious look. "At least, I think so... I very rarely have dreams like this, peaceful. I had this a long time ago, I can only recall what I think I remember." She shook her head with a small smile. "It's probably just nonsense, my mind making me dream of something impossible just to mess with me."

“Dreams have been linked with showing you your unconscious and sometimes not so hidden desires. Many believe that they are your brain’s way of figuring out abstract problems in your sleep.” Remus responded, wondering what all had happened to her in her lifetime to make her feel that way. He recalled the scars he had seen on her body, a few lighter ones poking out of the collar of her shirt right now. The large, thick scars on his forearms were perfectly visible right now with his sleeves rolled up. They ended just before the crease that his elbow joint caused. He didn’t pay them much mind anymore; however his dream from last night had disturbed him enough so that he glanced at them now. They were knotted scars, shiny silver skin that had puckered together giving way to the fact that they had been deep and caused by something at least the size of a large kitchen knife. The scar on his chest was just the same, though much more intricate in its detail. He had no idea what it meant, but it was there for some purpose or another.
((Well, than one more set of posts or so and he will. =) Also, sorry for the crappy mc'crap post.))

V sat there thinking about what he said, chin resting on her hand as she just stared straight ahead at the wall. Dreams are linked to you unconscious desires, your brain trying to figure out abstract problems. She did want something to happen to change her life, make her not go back to having to fight for good money. But what was it? There was nothing that could be handed to her to change things in her life, and even if such a thing existed she wouldn't know what to do with it, how to use it. Maybe... her head snapped up, her hand falling down to her side. "Carak..." She whispered, if he were to come back, finally find her after so many years of missing, it would be absolutely amazing.
With a sigh she closed her eyes, letting her face drop into her hands and shook her head. Why, why didn't he looked for her that day in the blizzard. Why did he abandon her? The only person who genuinely loved her and vice versa, always made time to spend with her even on the busiest of days. Just thinking of it made her eyes start to water, with a sniff of her nose she quickly rubbed her eyes clear of the tears that almost ran down her cheek and sat up after a moment of regaining her composure.
Taking a deep breath she looked over to Remus, not meeting his eyes though, she didn't want him to see hers. Weakness, something like this, she didn't want anyone to see. She instead was looking at his hands that were holding the board, running up to his arm and at the scars that were visible. She reached a hand out, hesitating for a second but then continued so that the tips of her fingers lightly touched the scar. "What are these from?" She asked in a soft tone, looking up at his eyes. She was just curious about them because he didn't have a lot, just those on his arms and the cross shaped one on his chest, that she knew of. They didn't look like scars from a fight or anything, something different. He had those few ones while she had many, definitely scars on top of other scars. Of course those were from fighting and some abuse.
(( Okay and that's alright, I've been giving you crappy ones. ))

Remus saw her head move rather quickly, what sounded like a name coming from her lips in a rather hushed sound. He didn’t comment on it, in fact he didn’t really care all too much. He was a rather curious fellow; however he didn’t particularly like to pry into other people’s lives. He would ask if a question came up and he wanted to know, but to be honest he wasn’t all that worried about who or what Carak was, if he had even heard her right. Whatever it was, it seemed to be an emotional topic for V, another reason why he had decided not to ask. Remus didn’t do well with emotional people, especially women. He just sort of sat there like a lump on a log confused with what to do. He didn’t outright stare at her, but he watched her from the corner of his eyes, his wrist lightly moving as he drew random little lines and circles on the corner of the white board. She sat up after a little bit and Remus inwardly sighed in relief. He hadn’t particularly wanted and emotional woman, one he didn’t know very well at that. Unexpectedly, V reached out and gently touched his arm, right where the scar was. She asked him about them and he looked at her before looking down at them. He didn’t really seem to have much emotion regarding the rather large things, unlike many people who had scars that brought up memories. “I don’t rightly know. Supposedly I did that myself.” He said, though he didn’t look ashamed or all the worried. “I woke up in the hospital after one of my visions. Apparently I was found with the knife in my hands.” He shrugged his shoulders and set the whiteboard on the coffee table in front of him, leaning back against the couch. “I can get violent during the visions; though I don’t think I have ever hurt anyone so I suppose it has only been against me.” He held his arm up and looked at it, the light from the room glinting off of the stretched shiny scar tissue. “I don’t remember doing any of it.” He frowned lightly in thought. ((Next post he will have the vision, I am just trying to figure out what exactly he will be seeing lol))

V looked to him kind of oddly because of his reaction to her touching and asking about the scars, then again she shouldn't be surprised by his lack of emotion to them. She has seen many who looked to their scars and actually didn't even know they had them, or just shrug them off because they were nothing. She was the opposite when she first began fighting, sometimes cowering in the corner of her cage licking her wounds but then as she got older and was in more and more fights she got used to it and didn't think much about it.
He didn't know where they came from either, just that he did them to himself. He talked about it with no worry or shame. She was curious as he explained it to her, a little worried that he was injuring himself during these visions but interested because she wanted to know what these visions were exactly. Were they visions of what would happen in the future, whether it was a few hours or days, even years. Or were they something else, seeing things other people couldn't see, something from his past?
"What are these visions you have? What happens in them?"

Her questions made Remus look at V curiously. Most people who were not a doctor of some kind wanted absolutely nothing to do with his visions. He wasn’t angry or concerned with telling her about them, but he did find it curious that she actually wanted to know. “I am not entirely sure what they are or really why I even have them. Sometimes they are related to each other and sometimes they are not. I have seen cities that I have never been to, witnessed conversations that I have never had. They seem to mostly be from the past, but there are a few that one might consider premonitions.” He shrugged his shoulders some and glanced at his arms some, wondering what had caused him to do this to himself.
As he looked at his arms a tingling sensation blossomed from the scars located on his arms and the large cross-shaped one on his chest. His vision started blurring and his back stiffened as he fought to keep control of his muscular capabilities. “Looks like I shouldn’t talk about them.” He managed to get out. He couldn’t turn his head to look at her, but he had one last thing to say. “Don’t let me hurt anyone.” It was barely a whisper, but his mouth closed and his eyes fluttered shut. Within moment they reopened and he stood. His one eye was complete black, no traces of white to be found while the other was the same except for his gold colored iris. His veins seemed to darken some, becoming more visible beneath the skin, though it was only temporary, except for those running towards his eyes on his face. Remus was not aware the he was standing, nor was he aware of the utter lack of expression on his face. He also did not know that he had started moving towards the kitchen. What Remus was aware of had nothing to do with his place of residency or even his own body.
It was dark and it was cold. He was inside, Remus was sure of that. It was an odd vision. He didn’t feel like he had a body, didn’t feel like he was breathing or even needed to breath. It was almost like he was a piece of consciousness connected to a body. The one thing that he truly enjoyed about these visions was the fact that he wasn’t thinking about everything at the same time. It was one controlled thought line with nothing else pushing or shoving to get in the way.
A light flickered on in the room, surprising Remus as to the fact that it was a classroom at the university. He was aware of the entire room, as though he was in a far corner with a view of everything except for his backside. The windows were dark, nighttime being the current time of day apparently. His attention was drawn towards the figure that had entered the room along with a figure that seemed to have been here from the beginning.
It was a female with long blonde hair held back by a headband with a pink bow. When she turned in the direction of Remus, confused laced through his body. It was the girl that constantly wanted his attention. It was the girl that had wasted his time earlier. If he had eyebrows they would have furrowed in thought and so great was his confusion that his actual body stopped its movements towards the kitchen and mimicked the emotion that he was feeling.
Remus glanced towards the middle of the room, the desks that had been seated there were now blown away into a circle, a purple cloaked figure in the middle. The head was covered and the sex of the figure was indeterminable, though for some reason Remus got the impression that they were male. “Have you any news?” The figure spoke, his tone distinctly male though it had a unique rasping quality to it. The blonde girl jumped slightly and nodded her head, nearly running up towards the male figure, desks moving out of her way to make a path towards the center. The girl had a USB drive in her hands and she passed it out to the figure, though not before bowing first. The figure reached out and took it, revealing long, slender fingers with pale skin; a thick blocked ring with a purple gem located on the middle finger of their right hand. It had odd symbols located on it, one that was disturbingly familiar to Remus. It was the cross-like shape on his chest.
“He suspects nothing my master.” The girl spoke, bowing low once more as she stepped backwards. “Everything is proceeding as planned.” Remus was flabbergasted as to what was going on here. Was this something that was happening now? No, it was not yet dark out, though it would be in a few ours. Did that mean that this had already happened or maybe…it was going to happen? The girl was in the same outfit that Remus had seen her in earlier today. One could not forget the insanely pink stripped shirt and white pants that she was wearing.
“Very good, child. You have done well---“ The figures voice cut off as Remus saw a flash of purple. The vision was disconnecting, something that he hadn’t been expecting. Usually they lasted much longer than that. He felt his feet first, feeling vertigo as if he was sliding back into his body from a lying position to a standing. He swayed and started to fall over, feeling light headed. His face was paler than usual, dark veins gone and eyes back to normal. His expression was rather shocked, showing how he really felt, confusion setting in as well. He must have been moving around, though he didn’t make it out of the room thankfully. ((So, it is kind of bland really, not a whole lot of excitement, however if you PM me, we can use this vision as a means for a mini-plot. I have a few ideas you might like =) ))

V listened to what he told her about the visions, from what she could gather, his visions were odd. Sometimes they were connected and other times they weren't, seen and herd things he never did and a mix of past and premonitions. She sat there looking down at the floor in thought, chin resting in the palm of her hand as she thought about it. When he said he shouldn't of spoke about them she lifted her head and looked to him, about to ask what he meant when he mumbled something that made her a little confused. Don't let me hurt anyone.
She wasn't sure what to say or do, just sat there staring at Remus's eyes fluttering shut for a moment before reopening and standing up. His eyes had changed, the corneas of his eyes were black, the other with a golden iris. ”Remus?” She called his name, standing up and moving from the couch to stand in front of him. She tried to get his attention but his gaze stared straight ahead and wouldn't move. She even noticed that his veins were darkening, kind of like last night when that sabre-lion came upon them.
”Remus... are you alright?” She asked, he had no expression on his face so she didn't know if this was normal or not but she didn't like that he didn't seem to react at all to her voice. ”Remus!” She growled, not aggressive but louder to try getting his attention, even grabbing his shoulder and giving a little shove but that didn't do anything. She stood there looking from the dark veins around his eyes down his body, trying to think of something to do to snap him out of this little trance but before she could do do anything else he began to move.
"Ya know it's rude to just walk off when your talking to somebody." She told him, thinking that he was going up to his room because he had been busy at work. She walked right beside him with her eyes locked on him, still nothing, so she went in front of him and stopped right where the living room connected with the kitchen with her hands on her hips. She thought that made him stop seeing as he did stop right in front of her but his eyes didn't change the the veins still remained. She just stood there waiting for him to say something but before that could happen she noticed him starting to sway, "Remus!"
She grabbed hold of his shoulders, holding him up by pulling his arm around her shoulder when she saw his eyes had gone back to normal and the veins were gone. His face was pale and looked shocked. "Was that it? What happened?" She asked him a little interested tone in her voice, leaning him against the wall.

Blinking slowly, Remus realized that V was speaking to him. She had managed to get him up against a wall and so he reached out to it, stabilizing himself. His gaze turned towards V, his expression changing from the shocked look to one of slight worry. “It was a vision.” He stated simply and stood up straight, his body now obeying him and his head no longer feeling as though he was stuck in vertigo. He Pushed off the wall, away from V, wanting to think for a moment before he said anything or had V ask him something. Quickly his mind regained its usual hectic patterning and thought processing. He thought a million tiny thoughts it seemed all at the same time. It was hard to keep track of everything, yet his mind did it. He organized the thoughts and wondered what the hell his vision had been about. It hadn’t been violent so he doubted that he had done anything violent himself, though he had to wonder why he had stood up and began moving. Who was the cloaked figure and why was that student working with him. What was her name? Sarah, that was right. Sarah had always seemed like the airhead type. Her mind always seemed to not be on focus. Maybe it was just a ploy or Maybe Remus was just seeing something that had never happened. There were a few visions before that he had found to be true, but not all of them could he prove. Ones like this, conversations between two persons were nearly impossible to find. Though, there was a USB drive that had been passed between Sarah and the cloaked male. Maybe, there were more like it or if this had yet to happen, he could figure out if this was something real or not.

She stood with Remus against the wall until he pushed away, confirming that it was indeed a vision. She understood that he wanted some room so when he did push away she stepped back a few feet, hands behind her back as she watched him. With a sigh though she stood straight up, a hand on her waist and the other on her head rubbing it slightly with her gaze off to the side. What should she do now? After a moment her arms fell to her sides as she turned and went into the kitchen, going to a cabinet he pointed at earlier and pulling out a plastic cup and went over to the sink where she filled it with water. All she could do was sit on the sidelines as he worked out what had happened in his head, probably trying to think of a way of how it made sense.
After a few moments of standing there taking some gulps of water she refilled it and headed over to where Remus stood, holding the cup out to him without a word. Once he was ready then he would fill her in, that is, if he felt that he should. V would ask but if he didn't tell her then she was okay with that, it was his business anyway.

The sound of someone going through a cabinet and then running water flashed through Remus’s mind, though the thought of it quickly disappeared as he pushed it away. He didn’t want to think about what V was going right now .He wanted to try and figure out if it was something that was going to happen or had already happened. It wasn’t easy to figure out but… His eyes widened some in remembrance as he paced back and forth across the room, one hand placed on the back of his head. Sarah had not been wearing the same outfit today. No, her shirt was similar but different and the bow in her hair had been white today, not pink. Maybe it would happen tomorrow, though it could have happened already to be honest. His mind then jumped to the cloaked man, flashing towards the purple ring that he had seen on the middle finger of the male.
He made his way over to one of the chalk boards an found an empty half to begin sketching on. Maybe, V would recognize one of them. He could ask someone after all. If he had the option why not take it. He finished his drawings right as V came over and held a cup of water out towards him. He thanked her and took the glass, sipping from it before asking her a question.
“Do you recognize any of these symbols.” He gave her a look with an upwards tilt of his eyebrows. ((I thought that one of the images might mean something to her. Also, I have the symbols and I will post them as soon as the email reaches my computer >.<))

When V had come back to Remus she saw that he had written something on an empty space of one of the chalkboards. He asked if she recognized any of the symbols, so that's what they were. She walked over to the board and took a moment to look over the symbols, arms crossed over her chest and eyes narrowing as she tried to think if she ever saw them before. She went back to a few days that she could remember, no, nothing. Then she tried remembering from weeks to months ago if she saw any of those symbols. Nothing. Then years, going back farther and farther until she reached her first days as a fighter. There.
She had been standing there with arms crossed and a serious but thoughtful look on her face as she thought hard about if she saw the symbols before. It must have been five minutes until she finally showed signs that she did recognize them, or at east one. Her arms unfolded, one falling to her side while the other one touched the board, eyes slightly wide.
"That one..." She finally spoke, pointing to a symbol in the middle of the others, a hint of irritation in her voice. "I have only seen it once but that one time is all I need to remember it." With that said, both or her arms lifted up and reached around to behind her head, there her hands grabbed hold of her hair and pulled it aside to reveal the same symbol on the flesh of her neck. Branded. She turned her head to the side, a smirk on her face. "It was right before I was sold to some vampires, I didn't see who did it but I sure gave those guys hell. I clawed the guy's face, that's what he gets... I'm nobodies property."
(( Bam! That's all I could think of for her to remember. lol ))
