When the name Jorgan stirred Laurel's anger, Logan felt the hair on his arms stand on end with the aura of hate she was letting off. Mara was terrifying when angered and he figured this man must have been some kind of garbage if even Laurel hated him. He wanted to ask what it was about, but Lian stepped in, leaving Logan to figure that messing with Laurel was not a good idea when she was like this. Instead he focused on Lian, finding the information a bit shocking, if not strange. So this man Jorgan had been one of the ones to pit the demons against one another. He remembered the memory of the war Laurel showed him, the pain he felt seeing all of the dead demons and the destruction around him. This was a painful place for Laurel and even Alaine apparently...He looked to Ally, who shifted a bit, looking bothered till her hand found Logan's arm. Her grip tightened and he gave a small sigh. "So Jorgan has a demon then. Alaine said she had Elescher go after Jorgan...So either someone that wants him alive or he has supernatural help...You know him, would he still have that demon under a contract? Its been a long time since that war happened right?" He asked, since he figured the war must have been where he met the demon and then he kept her around as defense. "That would explain why Alaine was having trouble getting to him." He said though he was sure Laurel and Lian already put that together.

Lian nodded to Logan understanding his idea and knew for a fact that it was possible. He was going to make a comment however it seemed Laurel wanted to speak. "If he does have a demon still its near its end and I hope it has suffered for ever helping that filthy Zebratera." She said using a demon word for something so foul it was considered the ultimate insult to anyone- loathing and hate weren't strong enough to match that rank to a demon. Lian looked a little confused about the language but let it go before going to sit next to her and gave her a light look. She glanced at him- her anger still not leaving her look- her brow furrowed. "I'm sure they have suffered. All demons have suffered...Its almost over that is the point of this." He said letting a hand stray to her hair to brush some back that had fallen into her face but she smacked his hand from her hair looking annoyed. "That is not the point Lian. He is the last one to still breath and we- the demons have allowed it so far- two years then the other twenty... We slaughtered them out right- not even having contracts...Why is this any different?!" She said loosing her temper a bit and punched him hard in the chest, about making Lian fall off the bed but he didn't say anything knowing he had said something wrong. A hand on his chest where she ahd hit him he rubbed it a moment knowing it was definitely going to bruise. "We should just go in and kill him! Cut him like a pig- starve him- kill everything he holds dear--Make him feel the pain we felt having to slaughter our own loved ones..." She said suddenly irate to sobbing on the bed, the feeling of cold radiating from her mind to Logan. She felt bad she was suddenly on a mood swing but memories did this to her. Lian moved and pulled her into a hug, not minding her green skin or demonic appearance in the slightest since he loved the odd creature- nothing would change that. "It would definitely explain why she wasn't able to get at him yes. Alaine is a very dangerous character. If she were able she would have infiltrated his strong hold alone and already done off with him. Though she hasn't so I'm assume things are more complicated then we are seeing." He said confirming Logan's thoughts.

Logan's face fell as Laurel went on her tirade, her extreme anger and emotional break was crushing against his own emotions, making it hard for him not to think how she was. He wanted to tear the man apart himself, for making Laurel hurt like this and Allison run off in fear. His hand on Alaine's tightened, making her grunt in pain and her eyes some groggily without him noticing. He looked at Laurel as she shouted and cried into the pillow, her emotions crippling his words. He wanted to comfort her, say something and how sorry he was that she had to bear the pain of losing the people she cared about...hell her whole race. "Laurel, it will be over now. We will get rid of him." He felt someone shift behind him and looked back to find Alaine there, looking dark, but her expression was still groggy. "You can do the honors, hun. Just don't mess with his head. I want to see him suffer before I smash his face in." Alaine said with spite, before her eyes went to Logan. "Lo, you're hurting my hand." Logan realized he was squeezing her hand too tightly and quickly released it, making Alaine look briefly thankful. She sat up more properly, though her body still felt like a lead weight. "As for Jorgan. There is no strong hold. Or at least one on record. The rat is hiding with his guard dog on point. I though it was just another one from the underground groups...but turns out it was a demon. I felt it when Elescher died...there was a burning..." She said, leaning a bit on Logan's shoulder to keep herself propped up. The man tensed and moved a bit, getting to his feet. "I'll go grab you some water." He said to Alaine, who looked briefly surprised at him moving away but resigned herself and simply leaned against the bed frame. When, Logan went to the kitchen in the room, she huffed. "Shit...I haven't felt this bad since that stint in Moscow." She grumbled, remembering when she was thrown into freezing cold water to drown to death and had to swim her way back to shore. She moved a bit, looking at Lian who she gave a slight glare. "So you stuck around the demon? Figures...I'm glad to see your still breathing." She said before accepting the glass of water from Logan who took a seat on an office chair in the room. He still needed to figure things out before he got close to Alaine. He was still feeling her out and she was setting off red flags...also he didn't trust himself around her. He was too attached to think clearly. "So where do we go from here then?" He asked and Alaine didn't answer at first since she was currently asking that herself that same question.

laurel ignored the woman there in the room with them not really caring for them. She was upset and was working on gettingconsoled by Lian who was giving this woman a teasing smile to her frown. Lian nodded however at her words knowing that was how Jorgen would play it. He watched her lean up against the head board knowing she was feeling tired still from having her contact broken. At her comment Lian chucked lightly. He ahd been there to pull her half frozen from the water to get her warm enough to live. Luckly he didn't have to get undressed- she wasn't his type. "Of course I stayed with laurel- however her brother she doesn't like me. Not that I honestly care. I'm sure I could take him down a peg if needed-"He started to say however Laurel punched him in the gut making him gasp for a breath looking at her a little lost as to why the hell she punched him. "Ian is still my brother you idiot. Besides if he steps out of line I will bring him back into line." She said before sitting up and looking over at Logan a little leery of his wife. "Logan- Can we really trust her? She drugged us!" She thought to him wanting to get his opinion with out having to ask out loud and gaining animosity.

Logan listened to the talks between the three, he himself staying out of them for the better part. He wasn't exactly in a chatty mood and he had this feeling in his gut that told him this was all too odd for comfort. This Jorgan was out there with a demon that had slaughtered Elescher easily enough, Allison was still hell bent on killing him, and now Laurel was on board. He didn't want to see Laurel harmed by this demon either and didn't want to lose Allison to this bastard that had harmed her before. But there wasn't really a win in this situation. Laurel was right, he had been allowed to live too long and now he needed to be dealt with...He looked up from the place he'd been staring at on the floor when Laurel spoke to him in his mind. 'Honestly Laurel, I don't know. All I know is she genuinely wants this man dead. That's a common goal here right?' He thought back, understanding why she was mad and distrustful. He felt angry enough and the feeling of distrust was a mutual thing at this point. Allison was treating him like a stranger and he couldn't have a conversation with her without them devolving into a shouting match. In the year he was looking for her he never thought it would end up this way....With them more strangers than they ever were before. 'I want her here Laurel. That may be stupid of me, but--' "Seriously you two? Talking like a bunch of gossiping teenagers over that telepathy crap is annoying." Alaine said bluntly, drawing Logan to look at her. The two shared a look filled with static before Allison actually backed down with a roll of her eyes. "If you must know, I'm considering whether or not to trust you since honesty seems to be an issue for you." Alaine's body tensed and she briefly looked like she wanted to slap him or worse. The animosity died down for a more favorable look, one that was frustrated at best. "I don't need you to trust me. You've already made up your mind about me and there is no changing that. I'm not out to harm any of you if that is what you're really asking. I only want Jorgan dead." She said before looking to Lian who seemed to be the only one willing to be civil. "I saw your name in the records again. And your phone is back on. What are you getting into?" She asked since he had been out of the business a while and suddenly he was pinging up everywhere in her leads to getting to Jorgan.

Laurel was listening to him, looking most understandingly at him when his loud mouth Wife cut in making it seem like they were making kissy faces at each other. She was going to make a catty remark however- Logan went and told her what they had actually been talking about- weather she could be trusted. By watching her body language she knew that hurt her but it was necessary. Lian heard her words and knew they were honest- if she were going to lie it would be to your face-looking you in the eye not avoiding eye contact like she was. She was a confident woman who had no regrets- that he knew of at least, she would take an inch from you and make several miles out of it. At the comment addresses to him he gave a nod knowing exactly why that was. "I just came back from a week trip apparently- Much to my own surprise...I changed my contact and only kept the worth while contacts we had. I'm surprised you kept that old phone of yours. I've been out of the game a few years now- only to come back in as a personal favor to find I've been playing while I was away. I have a feeling I know who it was however..." Lian explained however at the end of his words he looked at Laurel who looked mildly uncomfortable. She and Lian had this conversation and she refused to let him go through her brothers' computer or his files, though she gave Logan limited access- he wasn't too happy about that but then again- this was a contractor he was talking about- she took her work very seriously.

Allison raised a brow at what Lian had to say about his sudden reappearance in the circuit. Seems he was being posed as by someone he and the whore knew. Interesting. She let her eyes flick to Logan, who was watching Laurel's reaction. She knew from experience that he could feel her emotions. That that thing was in his head...The thought annoyed her beyond repair, mostly out of old distrust of this thing and its brother. Demons were a tool to be used to get what you wanted. They were not people to be trusted or to befriend. Seems Logan had an issue with caring for things that didn't deserve it...She let the thought die quickly, especially since it didn't matter at the moment. She instead went back to business, the usual route to getting better things accomplished. "I kept it for this reason honestly. Though some of the contacts have dried up due to disappearances and recent deaths. Elescher at least made a couple of the rats piss themselves when they saw what happened to Jorgan's smuggler." She said, referring the the gangster Elescher ripped to pieces in the security footage before the place was set ablaze...She loved seeing that prick get what he deserved for crossing her, but at the expense that Jorgan knew then that she was on the move and coming for him...That mistake nearly cost her her life and now Elescher... "Then you know the situation. Jordan has a demon and is no where to be traced. I've gone through every one of his contacts and none know where he's hiding..." She said which drew a look from Logan. "A man that big has to have a paper trail, someone handling his business. I doubt the demon is being allowed that..." He said, though Allison didn't respond because she had tried that angle. It was harder than it looked when you were on the run and having to watch your back while hunting someone of that much influence...

Laurel still looked uncomfortable in the conversation but didn't speak up. She didn't need to in her mind however she knew exactly who was doing that-not that she would tell. If they knew then they knew- nothing was going to come of it- she wouldn't allow it. Lian gave a sigh when laurel didn't speak up at his gentle prodding. "Oh there is a digital paper trail..." He commented getting an elbow to the gut from laurel who shot him a slightly hostile look. He gave her an equally harsh look but didn't speak. It was obvious they both knew but Lian knew it wasn't his place to speak it-Laurel obviously knew but wasn't going to say. Logan could use a command prompt but be doubted it would end well- but she probably wouldn't speak other wise- much less had the ability to hack the saved files on his lap top properly, even he didn't.

Logan felt her discomfort and he looked to Laurel with a confused look. She knew something, didn't she? But why wasn't she talking about it? Why would she be protecting someone that was in league with the person that destroyed her people? They had to be important or have something over her... 'Laurel, you know something. I don't know why you're not saying it, but I'm not going to make you. I promised remember?' He sent to her, since the last command prompt had hurt her so badly he swore not to do it again. He didn't want to be another one of these horrible people she dealt with in the past. If it wasn't important to know or keeping them in danger to not know then he would leave it alone. She had given him already access to some of her brother's files and helped her find Allison by going through Lian. The only beef he had with Jorgan was that he hurt people he cared about...otherwise he wanted out of this mess. He was not material to take on a crime lord with a demon. He wasn't ruthless enough to see Laurel harmed by this other demon, to let Lian be caught in the crossfire of what happened to Laurel, or to let Allison risk her neck for revenge. It seemed all pointless to him. Besides his deal was up soon with Laurel anyways. He had found Allison--well Alaine..though it wasn't the happy reunion he at least hoped for, he still knew she was alive... Allison's eyes flicked to Laurel and narrowed instantly at the fact this tart had information but was saying nothing. After it got pissed that another demon was protecting Jorgan, now she was protecting him by not giving up what she knew. "Hypocrite. You would rather let Jorgan breathe another day than settle this already?" She hissed before looking to Logan with a slightly more heated look. "You aren't going to prompt her? You have the ability to make her tell you--" Logan tensed, his expression turning stony at the sudden hostility towards him. "At the expense of hurting her. There's a reason to why she's--" Allsion's temper got the better of her when she heard the only reason he wouldn't command her was because of silly feelings. "Screw the reason! That thing knows something and you're just going to let it keep that to itself? That's ridiculous--" "Yeah. I am. I'm not interested in going after this Jorgan if it's only going to cause someone else to die or get hurt." He said, making Allison roll her eyes and tuck her feet under her in a move to try to stand but her feet didn't feel stable at the moment.

At the thought from Logan about not forcing her to speak she looked like he had swung at her for a second before she had controlled her expression. She was quiet in her own thoughts until Allison spoke up and was a bitch about things. She had been looking at the bed to not give any one an unnecessary look but her eyes shifted up to look at the other woman. It was a harsh and intent gaze and it wasn't going to change any moment soon. Lian observed what was going on and by Laurel's look the poor thing was tired and emotionally exhausted so he stepped in since Logan had Alaine under control for the moment. "How about you get some sleep Laurel? You looked tired my dear." He said lightly getting a small nod from her once she broke her eye contact with Alaine, which took a moment. She moved over to the far side of the bed- opposite of Alaine and turned her back to them, Lian tucking her in properly and brushing some hair from her face, giving her a light kiss to say good night before she whispered something to him. Lian's back posture went a bit stiff when she did whisper what he wanted to know to him. She wasn't going to convict her brother of this- he did it to protect his own sister after all. He sat up and looked to be thinking for a moment before moving away and went towards Logan's lap top. "Excuse me." he said moving it so it was facing him and his fingers began tapping away as he looked for a file she had called to mind for him- even the pass word...It was a file with a single picture of Laurel and then a bulk zip folder with multiple files in the folder- each with a name of other identities Ian had become to keep his sister alive- and well keep the demon hunt off of them. Turning the computer to Logan nad Alaine he gave the woman a deep frown. "They might be demons to us humans but they are capable of feelings and emotions-you just never took the moment to see that. Here is your damned information you were dogging her for. We will continue in the morning- Even that bastard sleeps sometimes..." Lian said in a rather soft tone but there was a matter of fact tone behind it that made it sound almost rude- but he had reason to be. He decided it was time for bed as he started getting ready to sleep- which included checking the door and windows and adding things- to alert him if they were moved or opened- more to deter Alaine from leaving since she knew Lian had a system he slept with.

Alaine gave Laurel a glare, hardly caring for the beast staring at her like it had something to pick with her. Honestly she dared the thing to come at her. She let her gaze switch to Lian when he spoke to the demon with the amount of care that always confused her. How could he love that thing that wasn't even human? She looked away from the display, allowing her eyes to flick to Logan briefly. He was looking at her, almost studying Alaine's reactions to this whole bit. When their eyes met, she gave him a frown before inching out of the bed. She went over to the computer that Lian was typing on, wanting to see what he was looking at. When he pulled up a file and moved away, marketing his little spiel to her about how Laurel was a feeling being. She kept her comments to herself, watching him install his crazy little devices everywhere. Honestly, some things didn't change, like Lian's paranoia...but he did know her better and that she was likely to leave with the information. She got on the computer and looked over the personas, grimacing when she saw the picture that went with the file. "Ian that little snake..." She hissed under her breath, the plastic of the laptop creaking under the vice grip she was using on the side of the laptop. "I take it it wasn't good information?" Logan's voice made her tense as he passed her, going into the small kitchen space to grab water. She watched him "It was her brother...He has covered this crap for Jorgan this whole time..." She grumbled, before shutting the laptop and getting to her feet, pacing a bit away from the door to the bed room where Laurel and Lian were. It annoyed her honestly that the little prick would be the one hiding that big secret, but she couldn't act on it. She didn't have a demon any longer and even if it was Ian, she was no match for a demon. Her arms folded tightly over her chest, her back still to Logan, she tried to figure out what she wanted to say in this awkward moment of silence they had between them. What was there to be said that hadn't been said already? She bit her lip when she head the squad of leather, knowing he had sat on the couch, settling in no doubt for a talk. Of course he wanted to talk right? That's how most of their fights ended. In an interrogation and then a make up...this time however she was sure the make up was to be replaced by the other finally pushing the other away. How could it end any other way? She had hurt him, he hurt her...All that was left was to take it all and push the wall between them...end it before the other died of more heart ache. She couldn't take this any more...He was her weakness, no matter the distance apart or the time she was without him. Seeing him here and knowing he hated her was killing her. She could leave, it would be easier and she knew that...but the numbness in her chest wouldn't let her go. She loved him more than she ever wanted to when this all began, but she couldn't pretend any longer. He was the special person in her life that loved her the way no other did...Dare she say it, but she was happy with him...how could she have let that go to waste over this vendetta? "So about that talk earlier...I just think it's better if we...pretend it never happened. I was confused and scattered. I wanted to find you to clear up some worry I had...It was wrong of me. In the morning, I'll be on my way after I get the directive on where to find Jorgan. You won't have to bother with me again..." She looked over her shoulder, expecting to find him looking furious or unfazed like earlier...instead she found him hunched over, his head in his hands and a slow tremble going through him. Her eyes widened at the state he was in, the tense ness that knotted his back with each heavy breath he let out. She turned to face him, taking a few steps towards the coach where he sat with his face hidden from her. "Logan...why--?" She began, but Logan gave a breathy chuckle his voice softer than before to save the other's in the other room from their conversation. "Why...Ally I loved you." Allison tensed when he spoke, the past tense of the word 'love' striking her right in the heart. Something in her crumbled, spasmed in her chest in a throb that nearly made her grab her chest to be sure her heart was still beating properly...She stayed perfectly still, unable to speak or move really as she watched him shift, wiping something from his eyes. Tears? "I don't know how else to say it to make you understand..." He looked up, his face pale and his expression so pained that it made Allison's blood run cold. "Do you even care how badly you hurt me in this?" He shook his head, looking away from her and at the window where the city lights were glowing out there. "Where did I screw this all of this up? I thought I loved you enough to make you stay...my whole heart Ally. You had it--still have it..And yet you do these things. Like that crazy shit today...The woman I married isn't this cold." She squeezed her arm hard for a moment before taking a seat beside him, her hand resting on his shoulder. She just had to touch him, to feel like he was real and there. "The woman you married wasn't...it was a lie I told myself--Us..." She was shocked when he took that hand in his, meeting her eyes with a solid stare. "Then I want the truth. The real Alaine. That stuff you said in the hotel is what you were...not who you are." She frowned at him, pulling away with a glare. "The real Alaine is a killer, Logan. A cold hearted, evil human being who only hurts people...I hurt you and yet you came back. I confess all that crap and you still say you care--pathetic!" She hissed, trying to stand but he took her hand again, pulling her back down to sit. "Ally--" Allison tensed, her other hand reacting faster than her mind and she smacked him on the cheek, hard enough that it made an audible noise. "Stop calling me that!" She snapped, but didn't pull away her hand. Instead she gripped it harder as her voice rose with her turmoluous emotions. "You idiot, don't you get it?! I can't be the happy homemaker with you or even have a normal life Logan. I don't deserve it after the things I've done..." Her voice tapered off, cracking with the weight of the emotions that were making tears bubble from her eyes. "That fucking demon in there isn't even human and yet its loved after all of it--I just want to be--" Logan pulled her in close, her words halting from the shock of suddenly being caught up in someone's embrace. It wasn't tight or confining, just warm and protective, sheltering her...She looked up at him as a few tears ran down her cheeks. She looked fragile then, her expression betraying her icy exterior and showing just how afraid she was of being pushed away. She wanted to feel safety again, the warmth she felt when she was in his arms in the past. "You don't hate me?" She asked softly and Logan gave her a shake of his head, a gruff frown on his lips that was hardly uninviting...instead of bitterness, she found acceptance in his eyes.... "I'm angry as hell with you, but no. I don't hate you..." He kissed her forehead, taking her cheek with a hand that seemed rougher than when she first met him. She looked into his eyes, her own closing for a brief moment. She could feel it hitting her now, the ease of his touch making her emotions calm and the beating in her heart to race. She wanted to tell him what she was feeling, but felt it might be wrong for the time...he couldn't trust her...he had said as much...Instead she opted for a soft smile and a light pat of his hand. "Goodnight, Logan." She said as she settled into his hold, her head on his chest as she held him a bit closer to her. "Night Alaine..." Logan could feel her drifting off to sleep with the ease of his light caresses of her hair. Soon he was out himself, only the sounds of the night filling the room. Alaine woke up a bit earlier in the morning to find that Logan was gone, a blanket from the closet draped on him. She frowned, looking at the blanket and for a moment feeling the panic that subsided when she heard the door open from the nearby bathroom. Freshly shaven and showered, he actually looked rather handsome in the morning, dressed a bit more casual than she was used to. "Morning." He said, drawing Alaine's eyes from the rest of him to his face. "Morning. Why are you up early?" She asked, with a stretch that drew a shrug from Logan. "Someone had to order breakfast while all of you slept in." He said in a teasing tone that drew a flirty smile from Alaine. "Look at you being domestic." Logan balked, though a smile did come to his lips at the idea. "I had to pick up a few things living as a bachelor again for a little while. Little things to keep Maggie at bay from packing my lunches and doing my laundry." Alaine actually laughed at the thought, since it was quite honest that his sister was quite the control freak.

laurel was quiet the rest of the night, not even a moment of though that she wanted to share with Logan. He had his own emotional mess to handle so she felt it was better to leave it be. Lian did his best to comfort her till he fell asleep as well. Her sleep was plagued with thoughts from Logan's mind- images- thoughts- fears- it was a bother for her. She decided after hearing that some one was up- feeling it was Logan- that it was alright to stay in bed. Hearing the small conversation between the two she stayed quiet, not wanting to interrupt. She had a thought suddenly however- Lian had rigged the door with a shock mechanism- meaning breakfast might be unhappy to give it to them. Her arm suddenly went out and knocked Lian straight out of bed- and onto the floor with a loud thunk and a rude grumbling of curses. He sat up and glared at her over the edge of the bed, looking mussed form sleep still. "Breakfast is on the way- take off you little toys." She commented in a matter of fact tone- hiding her current emotional state when she sounded like that. Lian got up and did as was asked- leaving the window ones alone however- not liking those unlatched- he crawled back into bed however- pulling the cover up over his head and Laurel's to give her a kiss- even if she had shoved him off the bed. She gave him a small smile before sitting up and getting out of bed and heading into the bathroom with one of her bags- she needed to tame her messy hair and change clothes. Having a lot of hair was a hazard occasionally... Lian sighed as she got out of bed with out a word further and went about her day, he looked a bit bothered by that still but he let his eyes go to Logan with a light smile. "Morning Logan. Alaine- good to see you didn't try to run off." He said in a joking tone since it was very typical of her- not that Logan knew that.

Alaine gave Lian a rather catty look when he came in the room to remove the toys before he went back to the bedroom with Laurel. She expected him to be back soon and so he was with his joked about her history of ditching him when she had what she wanted from him. She gave a shrug, tousling her blonde hair and feeling gross and that she wanted a shower. It was safe here to, or at least she felt as much... "Your little electrified doors and windows are more trouble disabling than they are worth." She said, to be a bitch mostly, but figured he would take it as it was. She was making excuses to stay when she should have left, but she didn't and now she would have to admit that she actually had reason to stay here. She passed by Logan on her way to the other bathroom, her hand going to his arm from where he was on the computer looking at the files on Ian again. "When breakfast gets here, get me coffee. You know how I like it." He gave her a nod before she withdrew her hand and sauntered off to get a shower. Logan watched her leave, though his mind was still playing catch up with the fact that this was a very odd situation and that he wasn't quite sure what to think of it all really. How could he know how to react when Alaine gave him so many confusing signals? He looked back to the computer, rubbing his forehead a moment to dispel the thoughts since he couldn't quite do anything with them at the moment. "Morning Lian. I take it Laurel is alright?" He asked since she hadn't entered the room yet but he didn't feel any negative energy from her. Honestly he figured she would be angry having given up her brother but he wouldn't bring it up. "Also I ordered some generic stuff for the room. I felt we could all use something decent after last night." He said before getting up and went to the door when he heard a knock at it. The room service brought the trays in, a fe meals that were a variation of pancakes, toast, fruits, and bacon. Logan was happy to see there was also coffee, mostly because he was suffering a massive headache from the drugs really wearing off last night. He felt like he was hung over honestly, but that was understandable after that ordeal.

Lain smiled at her with a shrug of his own since it was how they worked together. Like catty sibling honestly- but they only stayed near each other out of the job- once that was over the other was long gone with no regrets. He let the woman leave- the men simply in the room together now- not that he had a problem with Logan but he was going to have to put up with them both now. In all honesty he had calmed down a lot the last few years but he was still mischievous and childish occasionally. He nodded a greeting to Logan but was hesitant to speak when he asked about Laurel. "She...well she hadn't really said a word to me- is she speaking to you?" He asked almost nervously- though it was just working on figuring things out. The food arrived in a timely manner and he helped bring it in with a thanks to the man, giving him a good tip. He was hungry but hew as also worried about Laurel.

Logan was a bit surprised that Laurel hadn't spoke to Lian. Honestly that was odd since she seemed to really care for him. Then again, Logan was sure he had bugged Laurel with his emotions last night and that maybe she didn't get proper sleep. That or she was still pissed with giving Alaine the information on her brother. He knew Laurel loved her brother and was trying to protect him, but if she really wanted to kill this Jorgan person she was going to have to contribute. Logan mixed his coffee how he liked it and gave Lian a shake of his head. "No, she hasn't. I assumed she wasn't pleased with the way things played out last night." He said, since he knew it was foolish of him to get himself drugged and then welcome Alaine into the apartment as if she wasn't a threat. She had lied before...what was stopping her from lying about this whole Jorgan thing...? He shook his head, knowing that she wouldn't take things that far...would she? "She can't be too pissed. She hasn't shredded anyone or gone green and terrifying yet." He said as a side note since he had seen Laurel when she was truly pissed. She was terrifying and honestly he was not out to piss her off like that ever again. 'Are you pissed with me?' He though after a moment to Laurel since he decided it was best to ask her since she no doubt would prefer it to them talking about her.
