At Logan's comment about her skin changing color he nodding in a way that seemed almost absent minded as he went to fix his own coffee and think about what set her off. He figured she wasn't mad at him since she had humored him this morning with a kiss so it wasn't at him...Was she just mad at Alaine? Or was she also mad at Logan.
Laurel was in the bathroom still. Working on getting all the soap from her hair since it was long- it took a good bit of work. She kept her thoughts quiet while she did this not wanting Logan to feel them. She wasn't really mad just upset that she knew her brother would do something like this- but he knew what- well Who Jorgen was- he didn't care- all he wanted was money. Her brother was simple minded in all honesty and she wanted to protect her older brother- he had raised her the best he could- no it was her turn to help him in return and she couldn't do that. She felt pitiful and slightly irritated with herself. Lian had tried to cheer her up this morning but she couldn't bring herself to be happy when she knew her brother was going to be in one hell of a situation coming up. When she heard Logan ask if she was pissed at him she gave a small frown on her lips. She took a moment to think before she responded. "I am not mad at you. But your wife might be on my list of people to ignore." She thought back with some mild humor in her tone but it was hollow.

When Logan got the response he gave a bit of a half smile. 'As long as I'm not on that list we are golden Laurel. Breakfast though is here when you are ready.' He thought back, though the statement of wife felt odd to him. He had always seen Allison as his wife, but it was as if Alaine was a somewhat of a new entity entirely. A stranger wearing the title of his wife... He was sure Alaine wouldn't mind space. He didn't think she liked Laurel very much either. Could be a jealousy thing or just an issue from the past. How would he know? He shook the idea off in favor of the food, since he was starving. He looked to Lian and gave him a shake of his head. "I don't think she is pissed at us. Alaine maybe...I think just this stuff with Ian has her bothered." He said before looking at the computer and giving a heavy sigh. "Why the hell would he be involved with this guy? I mean if what Laurel and Allaine say is true, he has a lot more enemies than allies." He said to Lian since the man was a part of that world for a while and knew more than him.

Lian looked over at Logan when he asked why Laurel's brother would be involved and frowned. "A lot of us were once involved with the criminal underworlds. Demons were used as tools to achieve things, some didn't like being used others were more simple minded then others so they didn't mind it- as long as they got what they wanted out of the deal it didn't matter." He explained slowly after chewing on some of his toast. He put it in a way Logan would understand- hopefully. Ian was greedy and careless- unlike his sister and the other of their breed- For all he was concerned ((Ian that is)) They were a dying breed why not live like a king while he could? Liam some what felt for that but knew it wasn't right. Laurel emerged from the bathroom a few minutes later dressed in a pair of jeans and a high low crop top that was a pretty shade of blue. Her hair was wrapped in a towel as she was drying it. She went to sit on the couch before Lian went to get her a small fixed plate since he knew that she would eat. Giving him a light smile she took the plate and stopped fighting with her hair. "Jorgen is one of the most hated men in the world. I hate the man for what he has done to my people-but I can't help but love my brother more..." She said a bit quietly to explain to the two at least why she was a bit moody with them.

Logan understood the idea that Lian was explaining since it made sense. Not all fought the end the same way and it was hard to get a group to turn against the problem when they had issues with themselves. He faced the same problem when Alaine disappeared within himself. He looked toward Laurel when she walked in, her comment about her brother making Logan nod. He understood it. Family was family. Those you love would always be those you love and protecting them was important. “I get it.” He said, offering her a soft frown since he was sure she was trying to find a way to fix this without harming Ian. Speaking of which, he noticed Alaine was taking a while and decided it was best to at least knock and se if she was alright. He walked over to the side room and gave the door a knock, getting no response. “Alaine, everything alright? Breakfast is getting cold.” He said through the door and he heard movement behind the door before the door opened. He saw the look on her face was spooked, almost a bit pale beneath the anger in her eyes. “What?” He asked, getting serious, receiving a look from her before she handed him her phone. He looked it over and saw there was a video there paused on the screen of a fire. “What is this?” He raised a brow when Alaine motioned for him top play it, biting her thumb nail. He played it and saw that it was video of Elescher being burned to death, turning to melted cinders. Logan paused it and put the phone down, pulling Alaine into a hug. She let him hug her a moment before she pulled away, placing the phone on the counter. “The phone. Someone sent me a video of Elescher’s death. This is a spare I had in my bag in case the other was compromised…” She said before looking at Laurel and seeing she looked fresh and fine. It bugged Alaine, so she went to her coffee that Logan had set aside for her and sat on a counter opposite of the others.

Laurel let Logan get up, she knew he was worried about the bitch but she didn't comment instead she decided to focus on her food. She heard the video though didn't comment since it wasn't her place to at the moment, however Lian noticed Alaine's expression and gave a raise of her brow to her. "Whats got you so on edge?" He asked imply as he took a drink of his coffee. It was like this was a meeting for his old job as in a way it was. Laurels's eyes were on the woman as she came into the space and watched her as she chewed on her bacon. There was silence for the most part but she wasn't really looking forward to working with her- that much was obvious- even the look she gave her was rude. If the woman wanted to be apart from them then shew as okay with that- but so help her if she got Lian harmed- she could skin her alive- Logan's approval or not. Lian noticed the harsh look between the two girls and sighed. "Oh come on now ladies. You make this seem like the first day of kindergarten and you both want to play with the same toy." He started being polite about calling them out however Laurel swatted at him, making him smirk but it soon faded into something serious. "I know you two got off on a bad foot- even in the very beginning but can't we put this aside to get this bastard killed?" Laurel didn't answer since it was obvious she didn't care anymore- she would protect her brother and Lian- if that woman wanted Jorgen she could have him.

Logan noticed the women were glaring at each other but chose not to give it much more fuel. Alaine had a mean streak, he knew that was the case with Allison at least. He would sit her down if she got out of hand, which it was becoming apparent that she was getting there. He knew Laurel wouldn't attack her without just cause, but he also knew Laurel had killed people for less. Alaine's eyes narrowed at the demon, her nose wrinkling slightly in distaste. The damn thing even made her coffee taste bad..Her eyes flicked to Lian when he started patronizingly talking about working together and it drew a sneer from Alaine. "She has to be forced to give up any information pertaining to Jorgen and that brother of hers. What good is playing nice when we obviously don't like each other and have no reason to work together? She obviously doesn't care about anything other than her kin and her pet." She said point blank, drawing a look from Logan. "And would you think any differently? You're going after Jorgen to settle some score you've got your mind wrapped around--" She turned the glare on Logan, the intensity somewhat less, but she still looked like she might choke him for going against her. "Because the longer that sick prick breathes, the more issues that crop up and more people are going to get killed over this. That psychopath has a demon working for him that can melt another demon down to scrap. That isn't something to just shrug off." She said with a finality, figuring she won her point at least.

Laurel's eyes were narrowed as she was going to respond with just as much animosity however her last words to Logan made her think a moment. "Melt? Like burn others alive?" She asked almost weary of the answer since she had no idea Elescher was dead. No on really having bothered to tell her if eh did but good for who ever got his head, she would congratulate them. Lian was still looking slightly disappointed with being called a pet but he didn't argue because it was kinda true. She knew of very few demons who could burn others and she wasn't even sure if one was still alive, but she figured it had to be one one of the other last demons there were- meaning there was hope.

Allaine's eyes flicked to Laurel when she asked about Elescher getting burned alive. She was tense about it still, remembering the pain she felt when he died. It was awful enough that it made a shiver run up her spine. She felt Logan's hand go over her's that was on the counter, but she pulled it away so that she could go over to Laurel, offering her the phone as if it was a minor peace offering. "Yeah I felt the sick bastard cooking...someone sent me this video." She said before she then looked to Lian, knowing she had struck a cord with him. "I don't remember anyone we worked with having a demon like that." She said, smoothing over the earlier argument as was obvious. Logan noticed she was trying despite herself, something that made him feel somewhat better even with the minor rejection he kept getting from her.

When the woman got up and moved over towards her, she put the last bite of her bacon in her mouth to chew In case the woman was dumb enough to strike her. When she offered her the phone she rose a brow but took it, wiping her hands on her jeans first. As the video played, she heard Alaine’s comment. She knew exactly whom it was- but why were they doing this? Unless.... she was contracted to him? What was the stipulation? She thought to herself but replayed the video three more times to get an idea. “ Her posture isn’t defensive, she knew she could win- Elescher allowed it by the looks of this. He lost control of himself before she did kill him.” She explained however frowned after a moment. “ I know her well enough to know she will be the one to kill Jorgen. I don’t know if she is his contract but if only we can get in contact with Bianca and ask the rules for this? It might help-“ she tried to say but Liam frowned deeply at the name. “ You mean the Bianca that threatened to pull my bladder out of my eye socket over commenting that I had to pee on the train over in russia?” He commented looking not so happy to be near the woman again. Lauren grinned at him and nodded,” the very same. She has every right to hate the human species as a whole.” She Stated simply since she knew what happened. All demons had a sad tale to tell, and the humans were to blame. Liam frowned still but spoke up again,” and why didn’t anyone explain to the rest of us that she was a demon? You or your brother could have said something?” He said sounding slightly irritated but Lauren shrugged it off. “ wasn’t important, besides if you couldn’t tell t was safer that way. She had been the one to do the hit in the limo down by the docks.” She Stated smoothly in Logans’ direction to help him get a connection.

((It deleted my post...)) Logan listened carefully to what Laurel said, his eyes widening some when he heard it was a demon of Jorgen's that killed Elescher. While he was happy that freak was dead, he also hated the idea that they were now going up against a demon that could light someone up like a roman candle. Aand the one that made the limo look like a scene out of a horror movie. "We're going to trust a human hating demon to kill Jorgen whenever they complete the contract? That could be years--" Allison began but Logan gave her a shake of his head. "She could be an ally. Maybe not to us but maybe Laurel? If we could get her alone, draw her out? But I don't think Jorgen would risk it. She's most likely his protection." Logan said, thinking it out and wondering about if they could maybe cause enough of a distraction that Jorgen would send her.

Laurel listened to Logans’ idea and frowned. That wasn’t going to be easy at all, the woman was serious about this commitment to kill jourgen, she want going to screw it up and get herself killed for it- if the contractor died she would, unless she could collect. “It won’t be easy.” She Stated smoothly to the room since Liam had been nodding in agreement with Logan. “Why not? We all know Alaine and I can cause all sorts of problems... even more with your brothers information.” He stated giving Alaine a glance since he knew the woman was good at making problems, well as good as she was at making them disappear. “If she is dedicated- as I know she is- she will be taking this contract seriously.” She Stated firmly however Liam purses his lips. “ then we distract her and kill the idiot.” He Stated simply however Laurel frowned at him. “ kill the contractor- kill the demon as well. Kill the demon- the human suffers but it’s not lethal. Complete the contract- demon can kill the human- make sure their soul is collected and demon lives- no human anymore.” She explained with a bit of a complet emotion in her eyes as she spoke since it was a hard idea to get across to these humans.

The humans in the room were talking it out, but Laurel seemed less than impressed with the ideas of drawing the demon out o making a move for Jorgen. Maybe because she didn't want to kill Bianca? Logan wasn't sure, but he noticed Alaine was siding with Liam's idea by the way she smirked at his comments. It made Logan a bit uncomfortable since he was still getting used to the idea his wife was once a merc and worked closely with dangerous missions and trades. Logan thought a moment on what Laurel was saying and gave a hum in thought. "Then we need her to complete that contract. If we want Bianca alive. You sound like she isn't like Elescher and I remember you saying your numbers are thin in the demon world--" "Wait, we're worried over preserving a demon over ourselves? What happens when he sicks her on us? You really think Laurel or any of us will survive being burned alive?" Logan gave Alaine a quick look that was heated, though he didn't argue or raise his voice. It wasn't worth that trouble. He was just trying to make the best call that would keep them all alive, even if he owed Laurel his life for his contract with her. "How could we help in completing a contract we don't even know the requirements for then?" He said, ignoring his own desires to just jump head long into this.

At Alaine’s snide comments she wanted to hit the human but knew Logan would have an issue with it. Laurel glanced over at slogan and sent him a picture of Bianca, a beautiful brunette that looked poised and confident, standing by her brother who looked annoyed more or less to be there- Liam was in the back ground by a train sliding door- a rather large gun in hand and Alaine was by him with a sniper rifle in hand as they glanced out the door. It was an image she had remembered well from Russia. Alaine might not have remembered but Laurel did. “I don’t want to kill her. She doesn’t deserve that. As for the contract- we need to find out.” She said simply but glanced back over at Liam who seemed to be thinking. He wasn’t too sure what he needed to be looking for but he had an idea for getting informationfrom the closest demon they had to Juergen. “ can we ask ian?” He asked questioningly to the room to make it seem like it was a simply solution but he really had no solid idea.

Logan frowned at the image he was sent by Laurel, basking in what looked to be a strange seen from an alternate reality. But this Bianca was pretty and looked too strong to go down easily. Not that he wanted her too. She was like Laurel in a sense and it made him want to help her like the sap he usually was over those he trusted. ‘Okay, I’ll make sure we help her’ he sent to Laurel before he glanced at Liam. The idea of trusting Laurel’s brother was a long shot. Ian already made it clear he didn’t care what side won as long as there was a profit. What was there to be sure his info was even trust worthy when he was so willing to keep secret about most things, even from his sister? “Ian might know. The man has more dirt on us all that we even know about ourselves I’m sure.” Alaine said, her expression tensing when she looked at Laurel. “Or we just stick to a plan of killing Jorgen regardless.”

Laurel gave Logan a soft look and a nod of thanks but glanced over at his wife with a frown again. She was really trying her patients today. “He will die. Mark my words human. However I can trust my brother, he knows I can hurt him.” She Stated half expecting Alaine to be a shit and act up and doubt her and her abilities to control her brother but she knew Logan would be upset about it if she did handle the attitude issue herself.
