Taking longer then usual to pull a bathrobe around her body Adeliyah gave a tired yawn. Too much drama and she had not the means to fix it. Kneeling down slowly she half heartedly selected her clothing for the day ignoring the numbing feeling spreading through her body. Was she that out of tune to her instincts? Why had the wolves so easily overpowered her.
With a soft sigh she looked towards the closed bedroom door Saxum's scent still strong in the air. What had she expected him to actually leave? He'd seemed so hell bent on staying after all.
Bundling her clothes under her arm she opened the bedroom door casting him a small scrutinising glance her eyes casting over his face before landing onto his exposed chest. With a mildly embarrassed expression she tore her eyes away staring up at the roof " You're hurt." She obsereved. Though what now? It was still unclear to her the nature of their relationship. Was it simply colleagues? They worked together...but then he knew her secret and she in turn knew his. Eyebrows knitted together she inspected his bandages. It looked absolutely awful, clearly he'd rushed the job as his lousy work was hurting her eyes. With a click of her tongue she placed her clothes on the edge of the couch before moving into the bathroom. " You should bandage those properly....and I don't suppose you cleaned your wounds. Those mutts are nasty." She called lightly.
Not giving him much of a chance to answer back or even protest she returned to the living room bandages and iodine in hand. Now what? Clearly uncertian she held the items in her hand. Did she help him? Or...did she attend to his injuries. This wasn't something she was entirely comfortable with having spent so long away from wolves. It definitely wasn't helping that the male wolf had caught her eye. Hesitating she quickly placed the items down on the coffee table infront of him.
" I'm going to have a shower. If you need help. Just wait. I'll be out quickly." Not casting him another look she half fled to the bathroom. Way to close. She wasn't to eager on having the wolf around her now. Rubbing her temple she sighed before pushing the robe to the ground and undressing quickly. Maybe a hot bath would suffice to soothe her aching body. Deciding against it and knowing what her plans for the day were she quickly jumped into the hot shower.

"No, your just imagining things." Saxum responded dryly towards the females comments on his injuries. His eye twitched though as he sat up, feeling a bit bad about it but he was on lack of sleep and he hurt....a lot. However, he wasn't going to let the fire of pain burning parts of his body bother him. He had other things to do.
As she spoke of cleaning wounds and poor bandagmentship, Saxum opened his mouth to speak but found that Adeliyah had already brought bandages and iodine to him. Eyebrows raised, he looked up at her. "Thank you." He called out as she seemed to flee back to the bathroom. For some reason she seemed to be avoiding him. He didn't think too much of it as it had been quite the stressful night.
He began to remove his hasty bandage job and winced as the gashes on his shoulder had caused the gauze to stick to the injury. Slowly it came off, but not without pain of course. Feeling them up, he found them to be quite inflamed. In all reality he should get stitches but he would heal quickly and if he washed it thoroughly in the evening, he would escape the infection...he hoped. Cleaning his wounds, he let every thing dry and then waited for Adeliyah, he really would like help to bandage his shoulder. He could of course do it himself but it was soo much easier with another hand or two.

The shower was soothing her injuries exactly what Adeliyah had needed to get her day. What a day it was going to be indeed. It wasn't like she was too thrilled about going to see Marklos but if her father could in anyway prevent Sammeth from returning then, well she'd have to kiss ass wouldn't she. Rinsing the conditioner from her hair she stepped out pulling the towel around her body.
Maybe seeing Marklos wasn't the wisest of decisions she could make. Many years had passed since she'd left would he even tolerate her prescence. Shutting her eyes she leant against the wall. Anything had to work, anything that kept Sammeth far away from her. She doubted her chances if the wolves returned and she couldn't rely on Saxum it was not his issue to take part in. Opening the bathroom cuboard she collected her brush running it slowly through her long hair fixing her appearance as best she could. It wouldn't do well to be vain infront of the wolves but she could still look confident couldn't she. Setting the brush back in place she hurriedly dressed in her clothes. She'd taken longer then planned and now not knowing if Saxum required her help she hastily exited the bathroom. " Sorry lost track of time. Did you need my help?" Careful not to intrude in his space she hung back slightly. This wasn't going to well he was in her house yet she'd submitted to him it was all together to much for her head. Stupid wolf protocol and stupid wolf hormones. Why did he have to be a male. Frowning some she watched him quietly. This entire situation displeased her. She'd made the hospital her territory, well as much as she could very well due to her nature. Now however there was another wolf rather then be pleased it very much vexed her.
Taking a breathe she focused on Saxum's shoulder. " Would you like help with that?" She was being cautious but surely he wouldn't blame her for that.

Raising his eyebrows when Adeliyah entered the room, Saxum smirked some. Lost track of time, eh, he thought to himself and then nodded his head when she asked if he wanted her help. "I can do it by myself but it is much better with another set of hands." He explained and looked to her, his eyes showing that he was tired but his stance and words not betraying him. He started the wrapping some, but held the ends out to her as it would be best if she could finish it. It would be tighter and less likely to fall apart that way.
Raising his injured arm, he grunted but tried to show no emotion to the pain. It was necessary though, due to the location of the injury, to wrap underneath of his arm a time or two just to secure it in place. "Are you feeling better today? No other injuries some how cropping up in your sleep?" Saxum questioned, wanting to make sure she was alright, even though he would probably pass out if he tried healing anything else right now unless he got either A-a giant sandwich or B-a dog nap.
He wanted to ask how she had slept but he figured that he had already asked two questions and her answers might hold multiple clusters of information. Using his good arm, he swept his dark hair out of his honey colored eyes. Sometimes it was blatantly obvious that he was running on lack of sleep but other times he seemed to be perfectly fine. Saxum was an odd one after all, especially for a modern day alpha. He was old school compared to most, he would have to see how well this alpha of Adeliyah's was behaving. Saxum had no right to interfere within their packs business but he did need to state that he was here and had no intention of posing a threat to their territory. In fact, as much as it would pain him to do so, Saxum needed to ask for permission to live here. Sometimes it really did suck to be a were.

His smirk made her instantly want to bite back with something witty however she kept herself in place. 'Be nice' she reminded herself. Nodding her head she inspected his wrapping. It was still a terrible job in her opinion. Shaking her head some she moved towards him reaching out and gently adjusting the wrapping some. " There that's better."
With his cry of pain not going unoticed by her she gave a small frown " Would you like some pain relief?" She inquired. Not wanting Saxum to be in pain any longer then required she quickly took the ends of the wrapping placing them around his arm wrapping tightly underneath. " I'll live. My back was the worst and you have healed that for me." Standing up she flicked her long hair over her shoulder inspecting him quietly. " I don't know about you i'm starving. Would you like something to eat?" She asked.

Pain killer was not something that Saxum really wanted to deal with. In all honesty he hated medicine, yet he was a doctor. Real odd right? He just wasn't a fan of using it on himself. Though now that he thought about it, it would help the swelling go down, but there was still that problem that he didn't know how to swallow pills...."Um, I'm good thank you." He told her and sighed as she fixed up his bandages, trying not to be obvious about his disliking of pain killer.
When she was done, he lowered his arm slowly. It hurt like a mother but he could take it. After all, the alpha Saxum had been through some worse injuries. He scratched his chin as Adeliyah answered that she was fine. he nodded his head and leaned back, closing his eyes. This was one hell of an interesting turn of events. All he had wanted was to be left alone and not cause anyone any harm. To stay away from attention. But no, he couldn't just leave someone to a pack of wolves, albeit their own.
Adeliayh's words almost went in one ear and out the other but at the word eat, he perked up immediately. Peaking out through one eye, his honey colored eye sparkled in the light. "That depends, do you want your fridge emptied out by me or would you like me to treat you to breakfast. I know this lovely all you can eat buffet that serves breakfast." He offered, sounding almost hopeful about the buffet and quite serious about clearing out her frige. He really didn't want to eat everything in her house and once he started eating after a healing like that...lets just say Saxum could eat an actual cow and still not feel at peak capacity.

Not to keen on the fact that Saxum had knocked back her offer for pain relief Adeliyah gave a small nod of her head. It was understandable though in one way as she could easily realise why he knocked back the offer for medication. However putting apart the wolf instincts and taking into account that she was a nurse she was less then pleased with his answer. " Very well then." She spoke softly.
Reaching out she gently touched his arm moving it slightly into a better position. " I wonder if a sling would help you more." She explained. Take it or leave it after all Saxum was his own person and a doctor at that he didn't have to take into account her sugestions. Smoothing out her shirt she peered down at him quietly. " I don't think I like the sound of that. " With a light smirk she nodded her head. " Okay rather then eat out my house of food lets go to this buffet then." She agreed. " First you need to change."

Smirking some at Adeliyah's suggestion of a sling, one might think he would push away the offer as well. "Actually,-- that would be a good idea....I hadn't-- Thought of that." He responded, pausing as he got used to the position of his arm. He had some humility and could accept help. He wasn't a selfish wolf anymore, his alpha side had become a bit softer in the past few years. Glancing at the female next to him, his honey colored eyes seemed to hold a few mixed emotions. He was grateful for her help in patching up his shoddy bandage work but he was aware that she would now owe him, despite his butting in where he didn't belong.
Saxum wasn't the kind to rub in the fact that someone might owe him, he would call upon it when he needed it but for now, he was just going to forget about it. Really, in his mind, it was better that way. His face brightened when she agreed to go to the buffet, practically beaming of a male thinking 'Yay! Buffet, Buffet Time!' And yes, that was the dumb childish thought that floated through his mind. When Adeliyah commented on him wanting to change, he had to smirk at that. "I don't suppose you have a shirt I could borrow or something to wear on the way to my place." He smiled a bit sheepishly, feeling odd asking a female for clothing. That was just asking for trouble really, but if he walked out on the streets with his bandages showing, it might call unwanted attention to the both of him.

Easing up as she was around Saxum's prescence she couldn't help but flick him a ' Duh I'm always right' look. Like it or not, and at times she'd rather not admitt to it she had been raised in position. As an Alphas pup she'd been more then spoilt not that she hadn't earnt the respect. Just because one was the child of an alpha did not make them their heir always but she'd earnt her role well. Giving orders, and being confident were at times her worst flaws even so now. " We'll buy one then."
Pleased immensely that he'd agreed to her decision she glanced at her bedroom door. Clothes that he could wear. Well...now that she thought about it she definitely did have more mens attire left at her house then she cared to admitt to. Hey she was a female wolf after all, when in heat she got needy. It was aniamlistic urges after all. " Yes." Shooting him a small dirty look she disappeared into her bedroom quickly. What to find in the draws .Most things she tossed but there was still the chance wasn't there. Opening her bottom draw she scanned it quickly. Bingo, Shirt. It looked his fit, not that she would dare ask his size. Seizing It up quickly she exited the room.
Now the awkward part holding them loosely in her arms she quickly tossed the shirt to Saxum. He was bound to notice the scent though wasn't he? Neither was it human nor wolf it was something else. Pursing her lips she moved to the door. " Shall we leave now?"

Eyebrows quirking at the look that Adeliyah gave him, Saxum smirked slightly. She sure wasn't acting like someone who was low in the pack. He wondered where she w actually placed...or rather where she had originally been placed. Stretching his back some, despite the pain he gained from it, Saxum nodded his head when she stated that they would go and buy one.
A dirty look from the mention of having clothing that would fit him and Saxum was butting his tongue to not laugh. He wasn't trying to insult her or anything, it was normal for a female wolf to have a little fun when they needed to. He wasn't going to scold her, he himself had slept with a few women in his time away from being in his own clan, he wouldn't think of being embarrassed about it.
Catching the shirt, a puff of scent rolled off of it, something he knew was neither human nor wolf but had an odd aroma that was familiar. Grimacing, he pulled the shirt on, half out of pain and half out of the thought of what it might be. Standing, he gave Adeliyah a wary glade. "You have got to be kidding me. Was this. Vamps shirt?" he questioned, heading towards the door. He didn't really seem disgusted by the fact as most weres Wiuld have been. In fact he had gotten pretty close to a vamp a year or so back but a hunter had gotten to him last he heard. They weren't half bad of people if you met the right ones. Though sleeping with one? That was something he still felt a little twinge of uncomfortable with, however he had yet to meet one he liked enough for that.

It wasn't uncommon for female wolves to have fun on the side but it wasn't her way. She'd never been interested in teasing all the male wolves in the clan as the other female wolves had done. For her it had all been about discipline.
Pressing her palms together she fidgeted growing uncomfortable. If Saxum noticed the scent what then? Wolves detested vampires, heck even she did but now and then she could settle for whatever to subdate her urges. It's not like she had the option of a wolf to look for either. Pursing her lips Adeliyah sighed at his words. Pity he was smarter then she gave him credit for.
" Yes." Raising her head she gave him a smoldering look. " Don't you get high and mighty on me either. Untill last night I hadn't seen a wolf since I was sixteen. I am not permitted near the pack" What ever else did he expect of a banished wolf?

At Adeliyahs look, Saxum put his hands up in defense, a smirk on his lips. "I'm not judging or disapproving. I was only shocked. I have met a few vamps that I have enjoyed talking with so calm down wolfy." He half teased, amused in a way by how defensive she had gotten. He didn't see any obvious scars on her neck, a perverse side of him wondering if she had shared her blood with the blood sucking demon.
Scratching the back of his head, he exited the apartment with a bit of a wary look behind him towards Adeliyah. It looked as though she could have a bit of a temper sometimes, not that he couldn't handle it but in all honesty, if she was feisty he could have some fun with it. Shaking his head mentally, he sighed at the thought. He was NOT going to start thinking of this female as a potential pick for a mate. Clearing his head of instincts, he turned towards her and smiled. "If you want, I won't bring it up or even ask. It's none of my business." Saxum commented, shrugging his shoulders. He was curious but he wasn't goingn to ask. Waiting for Adeliyah to get whatever she needed, he waited out by the street, leaning up against the wall on his good should.

She'd gotten cross, lost her temper as per usual. Growing narky she turned her head blaintly ignoring Saxum. Stupid male wolf, like he was far from perfect. He was after all an ex alpha what right did he have to look down at her. Pursing her lips she studied Saxum out the corner of her eye taken back by his words. Well he certiantly was one for suprises now wasn't he. " It's in our nature to judge. Dog eat dog world you know."
Not heading him further attention she went about collecting her bag then finding a pair of shoes as Saxum exited the house. Well time to get this show on the road. Stepping out of the appartment she gently pulled the door shut locking it before gazing quietly down the street. For the most she couldn't sense any new wolf scents but that meant little. If they weren't here they could be very well anywhere else.
" No it is none of your buisiness." With a sharp tone she took a step away from him. " Now if you don't mind. I'd like breakfast today."

Dog eat dog world was right, Saxum sighing some. That was the exact reason why he had failed as an alpha, or rather been framed at failing. "Yea, I know." He muttered, waiting for Adeliyah to finish getting ready. Really he didn't like thinking about it much and would rather the whole wolf competition go away. It was the damned counsels fault. The bastard dogs didn't know that they were ruining the new generations. A low growl emitted from Saxum with his thoughts, his pheromones spiking in anger before he calmed himself rather quickly.
Adeliyah's scent filled his mind quickly as she came outside, clearing his mind, he nodded, ignoring the fact that others might mistake him for a half breed due to his scent. He didn't really care too much, other than he was glad that it wasn't night time. People didn't like half breeds at all, even though they were very rare. Something about chromosomes not lining up except for in certain cases. He thought...maybe that was something else. Mentally shaking his head, he got rid of the many thoughts that were clouding his mind.
"This way then." He told her, his honey colored eyes bright with mixed emotions, though his scruffy jaw tight with back round thoughts of all those he had met and lost in the past few years. "It actually isn't to far from here." He commented, releasing his stress and relaxing as him tensing up was hurting his shoulder.

Sensing his anger Adeliyah bit her lip decidedly realising it wasn't the time to add fuel to the fire. Why make Saxum moe angry then he already was? Besides she had much large issues to attend to. What were she to do if the wolves continued to harass her. Now or never was the time to decide if she'd dare approach Marklos.
Quietly she began to follow after Saxum her eyes scanning the street watchfully. " I'll be leaving after breakfast." She spoke softly. " I rather enjoy being able to walk the street without fear of a wolf attacking me. They came to close for comfort. I'll be seeing Marklos shortly." She explained
